Paul went the extra mile to get us in a new (used) car that was reliable. Our first experience was in January of this year. UPDATE: When we needed a new (used) car I knew exactly who to call, Paul Watson at Darling’s in Augusta. I was happy to know that after five years he was still there with his enthusiastic personality and willingness to do everything he could to get my husband and I a car. He is the example of excellent customer service and I wish that there were more reliable, honest, caring, and outgoing car salesman out there. Thank you for everything you did to get us in this car!

My family and I just bought a new Hyundai Palisade, for one these are very hard to find. I called down to Darlings just by chance and spoke with Dan. He was very helpful and very good with keeping in touch with the inventory they received. He called, and my daughter and I went down to check out the vehicle. We have never owned a Hyundai before, and immediately we were hooked! Such a nice vehicle! But even better was the customer service from Dan! He is super nice, he helped us so much get to where we needed to be with our payment, and made the experience amazing! Cannot say enough good things about Dan. Him and his team made the car buying experience a breeze, something I had not experienced before this. Dan was friendly, knowledgeable, has a great personality, and fun to work with. He got me into the exact car I wanted, made sure everything was perfect, and even followed up after the sale. We have been customers of Darling’s for many years. The last few years our family purchased several cars from Paul Watson. Paul is great at answering our questions but he does not pressure you into a sale, two of our children purchased their first cars from Paul because they knew we were very happy with purchasing from him. Currently it is very hard to find a new car to purchase and options can be limited. Paul helped us get our latest car that met our needs and had the options we wanted. He always takes the time to make sure your know about the the options and how they function before you leave with your new car. We would highly recommend anyone looking for a new car stop and see Paul. Paul and the whole team at Darling’s have always taken great care of us.

I bought a new vehical on 04/14/16. It was a great experience. GARY MITCHELL our sale representative was wonderful. He listened to what we wanted. MY fiance and I hate the thought of car shopping, but this experience was the best. We would definitely recommend Darlings to everyone.

My wife and I were looking for a Dodge Challenger a couple of years ago and went to Darlings, the salesman was pleasant we asked to take a test drive and the salesman said no problem and went to get the key. The salesman came back and stated "My manager will not let you take a test drive". He went on to say that they did not want to put miles on the Challenger's for test drives, this was not the salesman's fault and he was nice, however the manager did not make an appearance to offer any explanation, this was two years ago. We bought a Challenger at a dealership that did not have any problem with us test driving one. I brought the vehicle into Darlings for warranty work about a month ago with one of the problems being the driver's side door handle lock inoperable. Service stated that they had to order parts, we went to pick up the car and there was mud all over the car. Talked with the sales manager who offered to wash it and was apologetic and that it should not have happened however, they are having construction done. I refused his offer and told him that I wanted to make him aware and that I did not find it acceptable, but it was just a mistake. I dropped the car off about a week later for the door handle to be repaired, service called and said the wrong part came in (passenger's side not driver's) and they could fix it tomorrow. Picked the car up the next day and found a 3 inch long scratch above the driver's side door handle along with the door handle still not operating properly and a lot of wind noise that was not previously there. Brought the car in to have the scratch fixed and the wind noise taken care of, I called that afternoon and they had taken care of the scratch but the door needed a gasket and they would install it tomorrow. Next day they called and stated the wrong gasket had come in and they would have it in tomorrow which was Friday. I could not pick the car up over the weekend due to work, came in Monday after talking with service that I would be there after 5 to pick it up. Picked up the car with the scratch still above the handle (they poorly attempted to buff it out) and thick mud in the wheel wells and all over the bottom of the car. The irony is that they would not let me test drive their car and this is how they treat mine.
