I purchased a brand new 2014 Focus and started having problems at 15,000 miles. I was told that, although there was no recall, there was a known defect with the clutch in the automatic transmission. I took my car in three times - the first I was told the problem wasn't bad enough, come back when it got worse - to have the clutch replaced. At 12000, the front right ball joint went bad. Everything from the initial purchase until the day I traded it in for a Chevrolet on 10/01/2016 made me swear I will never go back to this dealership.

We bought a car from this dealership in August. We decided the day before that we will finish closing the deal on the car the next day so to have all the paperwork ready. We then got there and it took 3-4 hours. And our salesman increase the price of our car last minute by $750. We made it very clear that we were unhappy customers and that we would not be sending family or friends here nor returning for another purchase, but they would not honor their original price. They then failed to send us the title in the mail which they said would be to us within a week or two. Apparently they didn't have me sign something that was necessary. So I had to drive an hour back to sign something. Also they were saying that I didn't submit my paperwork for a rebate. However I had proof of emailing it to our salesman on the night of the sale. This dealership seems very on organized and they do not stick to their original word.

As a female, I wanted a used car but my husband was busy. I was a little worried that I would have a more difficult time without him but my experience was great. Find another dealership. A vehicle purchase is a major decision and should not be based on the car/truck only. Of equal or greater importance, should be the dealership's customer service and relationship management. This dealer fails on service and commitment. "If it's not right, we will make it right...." you know the rest. They don't abide by their own slogan. There are plenty of options to find your next Ford. Please read this review and choose wisely.

Came in for routine maintenance. Was able to make an appointment on line, which I liked. When I went in, I was helped right away and told about how long it would take for the work I needed done. The waiting area was comfortable with tv, magazines, and free coffee. My car was ready right when they said it would be. This dealership seems very organized; they are always courteous and professional.

Just purchased 2017 Explorer Platinum. They didn't have in inventory because of the color I wanted and there just isn't a lot out there yet. They took care of it, quick and easy - fair trade and ordered the new ride for me. Would recommend easily to friends and do... they sell a lot of cars and trucks and have a great reputation for standing behind they're word and vehicles.

Drove 2 1/2 hours with the understanding a loan could get approved in the evening. After three hours no one was there to approve the loan and we were told we had to put a deposit to hold the car. Today 3days later (only had to hold for 2 more days) they told me they will no longer hold the car because we might sell our vehicle outright and that voids deal. This is bad business it was in our best interest to sell our vehicle out right and they pull the deal out from under us. Terrible terrible terrible business!!!!!!

Tried to get an OTD price for my Vehicle and they refused. They told me to go find the best price I could find and that they would beat it by $1,000.00 They also wanted to profit a minimum of $4,500.00 on my trade in. I have purchased my last four vehicles form them but ever since John left and James took over it's terrible up there. The rudest sales people ever, some even dissed the current management.Wow, I couldn't leave fast enough! Folks anyone who won't give you a an OTD, (out the door) price are NOT competitive and have something to hide.They made a mistake by taking my Build sheet and writing on it, I reached out a grabbed it before I left since it was mine. and they had written on it "We could sell for 36 -37" and they only offered me $31,500.00 but still refused to give me an OTD price to purchase a new vehicle, unbelievable.One salesperson grabbed the paper work out of the Sales Managers hand and said this is family give it to me as he was part of the Sinclair clan, I felt so sorry for Sales Manager as you could see the how bad he felt. Folks, beware this is NOT the place Dave worked so hard to make what use to be a great Dealership, unfortunately it has fallen way down the scale. There are other Dealerships out there that will treat you properly.Dave is rolling over in his grave to be sure!I had told them that I wasn't interested in playing any games but that is exactly what they did.Stay away! You've been informed!

Wanted to purchase a used Escape. Quantity is definitely the name of the game here, but be warned about QUALITY. Lots of cars from which to choose. We settled on a 2014 Escape and took it to our mechanic for an inspection before negotiating price. Mechanic advised that the car was very rusted for its age and would not advise purchasing it. Back we went and asked to see cars that they knew would be clean. We picked out a second 2014 Escape and took it to the mechanic. This time the car had serious safety issues including a slash in the tire with cord showing, plus two nails in the same tire, a leaking drive axle (which should still be covered under warranty), rusted and pitted rotors and a heat shield that was torn and causing a fire hazard because it was almost touching the exhaust system. We went back to a new salesman (the first passed us off to another guy) and asked to have the safety issues fixed. He went to talk to his manager, then came back and said he needed to help another customer. Twenty minutes later he came to us again and said the service dept was closed and he couldn't get these items checked out tonight, but he would call us in the morning with a response. He added that since we found all these things wrong with it, they would probably not be able to sell it for the price that was listed but would have to raise the price to cover the repairs. Never heard from him again. If they legitimately missed these items when they bought the car from auction and then put it on their lot, they have some serious quality control problems in their service department. If they did know of these issues, but tried to sell the car anyway, they have some serious safety and morality issues. We were purchasing this car for brand new drivers to use. Scary to think they could have been on the road with this vehicle. DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM DAVE SINCLAIR WITHOUT HAVING IT INSPECTED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC!

I purchased a brand new 2016 Ford Focus. It broke down Saturday prior to Easter, got the car back on Monday and the same week Friday again broke down was refused a rental. They drove my car 455 miles and was without car till Wednesday. Missed work for 3 1/2 days. Did Dave Sinclair do anything to. Compensate me forr the problem..... NO THEY DID NOT. Ford Motor company did after being called by myself to make them aware of the, situation. Dave Sinclair did NOTHING!!!!!! And the. Car is driving hard, radio/cd player skips once in a while. Wow! I bought a brand new car to travel well who would trust the car at this point. Very disappointed at a local and very well k own dealership.

you know... in the last week ive dealt with dave sinclair ford on a 2016 mustang which i was mis-quoted a price on which i put a 500 dollar cash deposit on that i tried to get back on 3 seperate occasions the first 2 of which none of the 4 people who could "sign" the check for my refund happened to be at work, then had the trade in value i was quoted on my truck randomly reduced by 1300 dollars, then when looking at a 2016 ford fusion that i was asked to sign paperwork agreeing to a price, which i did, only to have the salesperson disappear then return with a new price that was 2000 dollars higher, and then to top it all off over the last 2 days the used side tried to sell me a 2015 mustang that was already sold. in the last week ive spent at least 8 hours sitting in this dealership only to be jerked around. and like a bill collector ive been called at least twice a day and received multiple emails trying to sell me a sold vehicle. you know the reason i was trying to buy a ford? because they were the only american company not to take bail out money from the government... but now... im really considering a Camaro.

I found a 2016 Escape online and contacted the dealership via the Internet. I was made an appointment with Mike Havicon. I arrived on time and we went for a test drive. I tried to engage him in conversation during the test drive, he acted distracted. We got back to the dealership, we sat, he took my information and said he'd be right back. He walked to another office and stood there for at least 10 minutes. I almost left then but thought maybe it was legitimate. He finally came back and we talked about the price. He gave me the price without the $2000 "Get Into the New" Trade In incentive. When I questioned him about it, he acted like he wasn't aware of it. This rebate has been offered by Ford since the beginning of the year, how could he not be aware. He was disinterested and acted like I was wasting his time. I left feeling like I had stepped back in time. I will never go to Dave Sinclair again nor will I refer anyone else to them. I purchased a 2016 Escape from Sunset Ford in Waterloo, IL.

I had previously had my car at the dealership in Nov for a recall. I had them look at my one tire that had a slow leak in it. They found a nail in the tire and patched it. After a couple of weeks it started with the slow leak again, took it back for them to look at again. They repatched it and everything was explained by a service advisor about where the patch was and that it was possible for it to leak again and then I would probably have to replace the tire. There was no charge for this service.

Service department was prompt to accommodate our needs. Because we only had one driver in the family, and the repair was going to take a half day, they arranged to drop if off the next day. Saving me the problem of getting someone to take us back the next day to pick up the car. Also, when I called by about a concern I had, they immediately responded. Both cars we own we purchased from Sinclair, and when we are in the market, that's where we will go for a new car.

I was completely satisfied with the purchase and service department work on my vehicle. I was there to buy out my lease, trade in the previously leased car, and buy a used vehicle. I was very disappointed on the detailing on your used cars. Having owned a dealership in the past, I found it was very important to make these used vehicles look as new as possible. Your vehicles (the two I looked at) where not that clean, in fact i thought they were kind of dirty. I realize someone may have looked at them before me and got them dirty, but whatever, they should be clean. I did not buy either one. My personal suggestion to you is to make sure your used cars are ALWAYS impeccably clean, they are not. It should help your used sales to have clean used cars.

First off I live in Utah so buying a new 4X4 truck sight unseen from 1,200 miles away can be a very stressful experience; but Scott Braun made it painless and easy! He treated me like a friend and not a number. He was extremely efficient and professional. He never dropped the ball and was there every step of the way. I highly recommend asking for Scott if you are looking for a new Ford; you will be glad you did. Dave Sinclair III was also great! He was willing to price match and make the deal happen. When I had questions, needed something or just some reassurance Scott and Dave were on it and I always received a quick response.It took me a bit of time to get my other truck sold to finish out the deal but these guys never forgot about me and also did not hound me like most other dealers do. They give you your space and do not use high pressure sales tactics. That is the way business should be done especially when spending tens of thousands of dollars. Nothing pushes me away quicker than being strong-armed into a purchase. You won?t find that with these guys. If I had it to do over again I would not hesitate flying out to Saint Louis again to deal with Dave Sinclair Ford! THESE GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! I just wish my local Utah dealers were this great to deal with!Thanks again Scott and Dave!

I purchased a certified pre-owned 2014 Ford Fiesta in August 2015. I expected to be purchasing a more reliable car since it was certified and went through all of the extra checks (and cost a bit more). Even though being certified pre-owned guarantees the customer 2 keys, I was informed at the point of purchase that the dealer only had one key. I was informed by Randy Break, my salesman, that he would have another key made for me and delivered to me the following week at the latest. It wasn't. In fact, it took the better part of three months, taking to multiple people and explaining the situation many time to get the key. On top of all of this, I had to take the vehicle in for service three times in the first 8 weeks I owned the car. I found out the CVTransmission which I had specifically asked about during my test drive needed two new clutches (covered by a Ford recall which I was told had been taken care of prior to my buying the car) and it continues to rattle and shake more than any vehicle I've ever driven. Additionally, the cooling fan went out a few weeks after I drove the car off the lot. I had to have my new car towed 30 miles and when I got to the dealership I was reluctantly worked into the service department's busy schedule. This brings me to my overall experience with the Dave Sinclair service department... it was bad. All around. All three times I had to take my vehicle in for service in the first several weeks I owned the car I had to wait at least two days longer to get my car back than I had initially been told. Every time I was informed their service department was way too backed up and behind schedule to have the vehicle done on time. The most recent time (and what will most certainly be the last time) I was there, I waited 30+ minutes after paying my deductible for a tech to bring my car around. I went back in three times to inquire where my vehicle was, each time being told it would be brought right around and that I should be patient. After handing me my keys, the tech expressed surprise that the vehicle had just been sitting back there in the middle of the lot - had I told someone I was waiting for my car? Every interaction I had with Dave Sinclair Ford was a frustrating one. My salesman Randy Break, while a smooth talker and good salesperson, failed to follow through for me after assuring me I'd have no issues with the car or they would make it right. I will say this - the dealership gave me rental cars (per the terms of my warranty) when my vehicle was in for service and on two of my three visits absorbed the cost of my deductible (though I had to call and complain in order for this to happen the second time). Overall, I'm disappointed and disillusioned with Dave Sinclair Ford. They're too big, too busy, and too unconcerned with their customer service for me to ever consider returning for service or purchasing a new car. I also cannot recommend strongly enough that you do NOT purchase a Ford Fiesta. It's cheaply made and prone to transmission issues - go with another maker's subcompact model.

So my daughter bought her first car from Dave Sinclair Ford. A used 2008 Mazda 6. She doesn't make a lot of money but was proud to be able to afford a used car. Not only did she buy the car but purchased a 4 year warranty for $2400 as well. After a month, and about 300 miles, the car would not start. My daughter had it towed to the dealership and said it should be ready next week. When we inquired about a rental car, they said hold on and then told us they were going to quickly check the battery. Sure enough it was the battery and they said it was not covered under warranty. I figured as much. However, after one month, they should cover the cost of the battery. Their slogan is "If it's not right, we'll make it right for free". That's BS. They said they would do it for 1/2 price. I said no, A multi-million dollar company can cover a battery that we had for a month. Dave Sinclair Jr (I believe) came out and I told him the same thing. They should be replacing the battery at no charge. He would not budge from 50%. I immediately pressed send on my negative review of the dealership on Facebook and that upset him so he said now he would not cover any of the battery. That's fine, I bought the battery for my daughter and paid full price somewhere else (Dave Sinclair will not get anymore of my money), walked through the service department and installed it, drove the car off the lot and will never visit or buy from them again. While buying the new battery, I made sure everyone inside the Auto Part store heard my story. Their slogan should be "If it ain't right, we might make it right for 50%". Made your dad proud today Jr.

I dropped off our work van on the Thursday before the 4th of July. Talk about busy! My service advisor, Patrick, explained how busy they were and made me aware that it may be Monday before the van would be looked at. Timing was not a huge issue for me at that time.While checking messages on my phone Friday evening, I noticed Patrick had called with an update on the status of the repair. Needless to say I was quite impressed with the effort Patrick made to complete this job. I spoke with Patrick on Monday morning and approved the repair. Patrick called me on Tuesday morning and told me the repair was complete. I drove our company pickup truck to Dave Sinclair to pick up the van, met with Patrick and requested repairs on the pickup truck, and drove the van back to the office. The customer service was outstanding and the pricing was fair. We will continue to use Dave Sinclair for all of our service needs.

They treated us great throughout the buying process, from test drive through financing and then out the door. The salesman treated us fairly and respectfully. The finance people made the deal possible. The owner even took time to thank us for the purchase. The Escape runs great. It is the quietest vehicle I have owned. It gets very good mileage. I tend to keep my vehicles until they are ready to die just because I dislike the New Car Buying experience that much. Bryant was helpful without being pushy or high pressure. He answered all my questions with honesty and integrity. All the staff I came into contact with were friendly and helpful, NOT a hint of high pressure sales tactics. On the vehicle I purchased, the Web Site price was indeed the starting point for negotiations. After all was said and done, Bryant was able to beat my target price, I was extremely pleased. This is a very recent purchase, so I cannot comment on Service and Support after the sale just yet. But, if the buying experience is any indication, I feel confident that that experience will be just as pleasant. I would definitely recommend Dave Sinclair Ford to family and friends!

i dropped my Mustang off for it's oil change and as always, the service dept was great, they have a real person answering the phone, and my salesman stopped and asked it everything was ok and if i wanted to look at a 2015 Mustang. the oil change and maintenance check points went well, and as a bonus they vacuumed and washed my car, a nice touch that was unexpected. I have taken my 2012 Focus in for an oil change and regular maintenance, as well as for problems with the transmission, yet again. I have taken my car in a number of times for this same issue as there seems to be a flaw in the design of the transmission on this model of the Focus. Each time an adjustment was made on the transmission. However, this time, It was determined that the clutch does indeed need to be replaced. I was very pleased to know that this will finally be done, even after hearing that it will take a month to get the parts in. Aside from the transmission issues I've experienced, I have had no other problems with my car and do like my car. The Dave Sinclair Ford service department staff has always been very knowledgeable and pleasant in advising me as of the issues with the transmission and also explaining other regular maintenance performed on my car. The service writers have wonderful customer service which, in my opinion, is important in dealing customers who have had issues such as mine, which has been frustrating since owning my car for almost three years.

It was pouring when I dropped off the car. The ink on the envelope bled all over. I was drenched. You need an awning. The girl in charge of tinting did not give my keys to whoever brought up my car when I picked it up after work. She was not answering her phone when Bruce tried to call her. The interior of the showroom/waiting area is really getting shabby. Dave Sr. would never allow that.I always leave my lights on auto. I did not realize that auto was turned off. Please return settings to where customer has them.Thank God for Bruce (Naes). If he had left, I would still be waiting for my keys.

I took the car in because of a windshield washer leak and for an oil change. They offered to rotate my tires as well. While I was waiting they told me that my front brakes needed replacement, too, which they took care of. I appreciate how thorough they are and feel that my car is in great shape when I leave the dealership. I am also glad they took care of it all in one visit. The waiting area is comfortable, but a little tight and has a fair amount of traffic. Maybe that is normal for dealership waiting areas.

Came in for an oil change and a 75,000 mile check. I did get a transmission service but I was wondering about how my tires were holding up. It was discussed when I arrived. On my receipt, no where did it tell me anything about that or anything else for that matter. I was just told to go pay. There was no consultation. Yes, I guess I could have pressed the issue but I of course was in a hurry so I just paid and left. I did expect an update on the car. Oh well...

I have exclusively shopped at Dave Sinclair for over 20 years. I presently have a 2013 Edge that I come back to Sinclair for all my maintenance work. They are kind, courteous, and friendly. The work is done well and in a timely fashion. My only complaint would be the waiting area, too small and too much foot traffic in front of you while seated. Also yesterday the fumes from the cars being worked on were very bad and I had never experienced that before.

I came to purchase a particular Ford Escape but it was already gone but I did find a very nice 2013 Ford Escape , Titanium Edition. This is my second purchase at Sinclair Ford. I have always had excellent service and have gotten great value there. Sinclair is one of the renowned names in Ford Sales and Service and I have never been disappointed. Staff and sales people were very helpful and pleasant. The only frustration with buying a car, this applies to every car dealership, is the amount of time and paperwork required. Everytime I buy a car it seems there are more forms to sign and more waiting time. Staff made me aware of the delays and they were very helpful at explaining delays.

I have never taken my Taurus to any other dealership or repair shop,since I bought it from Dave Sinclair, June 1999. Even body shop, when I was back-ended twice. I was at stoplight and two picked on me. Any work that was done by your personnel was always satisfactory. I have to base my star ratings on the OVER ALL experience of buying and then getting service after the sale for my new 2011 F150.If it was just the Buying piece I would give ***** (5 stars) BUTFIRST SERVICE VISIT 2013: The service was less than expected on my first visit back when the speakers started flaking out and an unusual sound was heard below the truck. The sound was nothing unusual "they said" and the speakers needed to be ordered. I left that day expecting a call when the speakers came in. That day NEVER came. I just listened to the other 3 speakers in the truck when the bad one stopped working. The ticking sound still exists under the truck. Something rattles on or near the exhaust pipe. That visit **(2 stars) NOWSECOND SERVICE VISIT 2014: Thank God I bought the extended warranty because when the STEERING WENT OUT at 55,000 miles it was covered. The service department THIS time was very fast and friendly. Well could have been faster if they were open on the weekends when it went out. But at least they had a drop box.My truck got a new steering mechanism and they even installed the speakers from over a year ago they probably had to blow the dust off the box but my truck is back and running great again rather quickly. This visit *****+ (5plus stars)With my experience I would definitely buy from Dave Sinclair Ford again.

I purchased the maintenance plan when I bought my Escape and I'm so glad that I did. I got an automatic email from Dave Sinclair saying it was time for an oil change, called them up, scheduled a day to drop my Escape off and was to pick it up that night. They needed a part to fix the airbag light being stuck on and put me in a loaner Escape absolutely free and told me my Escape would be ready the following day which it was. They also filled up my gas tank and washed my Escape for the inconvenience. I am a very satisfied customer! :)

I was running errands and a warning light -low tire pressure -came on. I immediately took the car to the Dave Sinclair where I purchased it. Even though I did not have an appointment, my concern was addressed immediately. Matt explained everything that was done to the car. My tires were fine. The air pressure dropped because of a drastic change in weather. He also told me that they had done a routine check of the entire car. I was extremely satisfied with the whole process. Dave Sinclair has always been my choice concerning a purchase and maintenance. Service has been excellent, although I have been dissapointed with Ford concerning the transmission problems of my 2013 Focus. My Service Advisor has indicated a concern and urged me to return for service if I am not satisfied with the repairs. I had an appointment that I was a half hour early for, and they took my car right away! Very friendly, but hardly surprised by that. As my car was serviced, there were a couple of things that needed replacing and everything was explained very well. I enjoyed working with Tom Bedbury, and his explanations were very clear. I always like working with people who don't talk down to me, simply because I'm a woman!! I have had that experience with other people in other service areas, away from this dealership! This was by far the worst experience I have ever had from a dealship. Ive had to take three separate trips back to the dealership because of paperwork/registration errors by them. Sales or the service center never return calls, Multiple different people that I've delt with have promised a call back and they never do. Had my car in service for over a month. It seems like its problem after problem with these guys.

I purchased a new car. I thought the whole experience was pleasant. From the car salesman (Mike with upside down name - sorry Mike forgot your last name).... to the financial person (Justin). I wanted a car starter added to my new vehicle and a nice lady near the coffee area (sorry I don't remember your name) came over and introduced herself and told me what the next steps will be to get that added - appointment.(appreciate I wasn't left wondering . . . love that). Also, an added note, we needed a bag to carry our stuff from the old car into the new car and they provided a shopping bag for us to put our stuff in . . . (went the extra mile . . . love that too). Didn't treat me like an "air-headed woman" . . . answered my questions and treated my parents (that were with me) with respect . . . (love that most of all). You have a good "family" crew there and I appreciated the wonderful service that was provided.

A fair price, an excellent vehicle, and my salesman (Kevin Sherlock) could not have done more to make me happy. Kevin left no stone unturned in seeking my complete satisfaction with the purchase process, and not the slightest amount of pressure to buy was used. Had Sinclair Ford do some warranty repairs on My 2012 F-250 Super Duty. The Service Department went the "Extra Mile" to address a noise problem I thought was coming from the instrument panel. Their efforts revealed the the noise was coming from an attachment point for the dash board, isolated the source and made the appropriate repair to my complete satisfaction. Service Advisor Don Kraus took the time to call me to report their progress before the job was completed. Every one there is helpful and courteous. It is obvious to me that they get great personal satisfaction from doing a great job. .

I received a reminder letter requesting that it was time for a 20,000 mile check of my 2013 F 150. I didn't call to make an appointment I was just in the area and dropped in Dave Sinclair Ford. They said they had time and would work me in. I told them about my brakes vibrating when stopping. Don Kraus made sure I knew what they were doing and seemed to check in with me about every 20 to 30 minutes which I really appreciate him giving me the updates while I waited. First off I purchased a 2012 Ford Focus. I really like the car. They gave me a fair trade in during the deal but when they started processing the finance paperwork it was $4000+ over what it should have been and had I not had a problem with how high the payments would have been, it would have went through that way. Even the finance companies had a problem with the amount they tried to finance so they adjusted it to what it should have been. Then there was a problem with the rocker panel on the driver side door they were to set an appointment to re-paint it. I waited for almost a month then I contacted them well long story short there was an issue with the way it was handling and running so the appointment was set to take care of it all at one time it was only supposed to take a couple of days well it sat in the service department for 2 1/2 days and all they did was make a couple of adjustments because in their famous last words could not duplicate the problem. The body shop kept putting me off one told me it would be painted on Monday another told me it would not be painted until Wednesday , then I was told it had been painted on Monday but something happened to the paint they had to re-sand and paint. I finally received the car back on Wednesday after they had the car for over a week they shined it all up the paint job is nice but the car is still not running the way it should when I called them they put me off wanting me to go on a test drive with them to verify the problem I don't want to leave my car there for days again but I was told there are no service technicians on site after 4:30 pm but they advertise service department is available until 7 pm on their letters. This was one of several cars I have purchased from them and until now I have never had a problem with them other than when there is warranty work on a vehicle they can not duplicate the problem I wonder why that is? I will not purchase another vehicle from them, they come with all of their claims of not inconveniencing the customer and IF IT'S NOT RIGHT THEY WILL MAKE RIGHT. So far that I am not convinced they really don't go out of their way to make anything right!

I am sorry for a negative review, but I felt it necessary due to the poor customer service I received and the run around of trying to get a key made, the hatch piece, and owners guide which was all promised to me when I bought the car in March of 2014. This has been going on since then, and I still have not received the three items. I even drove over to the St. Peters location because the key guy from the South County dealership was going to meet me there. However, after the friendly guys at St Peters call Tom Hanneken asking about the key guy, and they were told he was running 45 minutes late. I as there on time, but no key guy and no phone call to let me know he was going to be late. The customer service on the part of the South County dealership, salesperson and key person is outrageously terrible. Don't promise and write it things down when I bought the car when you can't deliver. I even called to weeks ago to speak with the South County manager, but never received a phone call back. My parents always bought their cars from Dave Sinclair, and cannot believe how bad customer service has become. Their motto "If it is not right we will make it right" is not true.

This is our third Ford Focus. Great car on the highway and gives great gas mileage. Very roomy and lots of trunk space. Love the exterior and interior of the four door Focus. Very dependable and seldom needs anything but gas and preventative maintenance, i.e. oil changes, etc. Great AMERICAN-made vehicle!!!!!

We had a shocking horrible buying experience at Dave Sinclair Ford. Our Salesperson, Denny Willard was very helpful and nice. Long story short we had agreed upon a price after trade in that was to be inclusive of all Dave Sinclair charges which was documented on an "offer sheet". When the purchase paperwork was being completed the charges for cost of getting license plates and title transfer listed under "tags" seemed extremely high. This amount changed three times as the paperwork was redone. When we requested to pay those fees directly to the state ourselves, the dealership refused to honor the agreed upon deal. Word of advice is to review your paperwork very closely and know what you are getting charged for. Beware!!!!!!

As far as the dealership, they did pretty good with only one complaint:I called on August 4th to book an appointment to get the power assist module of my 2012 Ford Edge replaced because it was failing. Everyone was busy so someone had to call me back. Whoever called me back told me that they could not get to it for over a week and when I asked for a rental, they said that was not something they were willing to do. So I asked to talk to a manager and whoever it was left for the day before calling me back. I did call about 4:00PM. Luckily, the next day, when I talked to someone they said this was incorrect, had be bring in the vehicle and then arranged for a rental. That was good. I am guessing whoever I talked to on that Monday might need some additional training.Outside of that problem, the dealer was great and kept me advised on the status of my repair.However; I do have to complain about the length of time it took for the supplier to get the replacement part to the dealer. That was beyond the control of the dealer so please forward my concern up to whoever needs to know.

Service dept has usually been slow on simple tasks....1/2 day for an oil change(?) Quality of work has been excellent, as far as I can tell. The past two visits have been vast improvements. Service counselor, customer representative, Craig has been super as I calmly explained my concerns a while back; also affirming that Sinclair has treated me well on 3 car purchase transactions, service has been good since first purchase in 2005, wish they had Fast Lane service concept, etc. So, the 8/11 recall item on adjusting computer for side/overhead air bags was taken care of in about 1 1/2 hrs. Matt Birkenmeier helped my husband and I select our new Ford Focus Titanium. He showed us different models and explained all the new car features in a clear, pressure-free way. He worked with the service department to check on different options for us and when the car we selected had a small scratch on the bumper he set-up for it to be corrected. The body shop didn't just do a noticeable touch-up but rather repainted the whole bumper and it looks perfect. I got on their website on 6-1 , and found a truck, called the dealer the next day around 9 am. The person had no knowledge of the truck, said he would call back , an hour and a half later, he called and told my wife, it was not for sale, that they were keeping it for a lot truck, I called back a hour later, talked to someone else, explained what happened, was told they would check into it, they told me the truck wasn't even there yet, I told them I had cash in hand, they said they would call as soon as it got there. I waited and never heard back , so I called a week later6-9 at 8:45 am . They said they would get back with me and e-mail pics . I waited until 1:30 pm. Called again, still nothing , called back around 4:30, said they couldn't take pics because it was on a test drive. At approximately 6:30 pm , was told someone was filling out paperwork right then. Then they had the nerve to ask " is there any other vehicle you might be interested in". Said they would call if the paperwork fell through. Thanks for wasting my time!! I could have found a truck by now!!

We came in just looking for details and what it would cost to trade in our car for a Ford Edge. The process was long and drawn out and he couldn't tell the truth. We told him we didn't want to be in there long because we had our 3 week old son with us. He tried to keep us there for hours, drawing out the process and tip toeing around the final offers. We told him several times it just wasn't going to work out and we would wait till a better deal came up in the future but he refused to accept that and began to become pushy and tried to get us to sign papers before we even had a chance to talk about the deal with each other. Buying a car is a huge investment that CANNOT be made in a less than 10 minute time period! He was just too pushy! We're going to wait till Dan L has something at Bommarito!

As a woman going into a ca dealership, sometimes you have to prepare yourself to deal with egotistical men (fro past car buying experience), but not with Tom. I told Tom what I wanted to pay and he got me the deal. I bought the extended warranty and gap insurance too, so I am hoping that Dave Sinclair honors everything I was told by from the friendly finance guy(I forgot his name), and that I am truly covered bumper to bumper for 100,000 if I need to use it. My husband and I went to Dave Sinclair Ford/Lincoln on 2/10/14 looking to trade in my 2012 Kia Sorento for another SUV. We were there before 10 a.m. and spent a total of 5 1/2 hours trying to find exactly what I wanted. Yep, I am picky and it is my money, so I have that right and I have the right to shop around, but they made me feel VERY pressured. I just wanted to go somewhere else before I settled on a car with them, because I had just begun looking. Mike even brought out Dave the Third and he tried to talk me into it, but he finally agreed and I got to leave. After Mike sent me a VERY misleading text (which we did not realize until Dave III told us otherwise) we told him we would return at 3. We got back at 2:45. He greeted us and said he was going to be in training and Wade would be handling us. Dave III told us that the vehicle we wanted could not be sold for the $7,000 to $10,000 difference Mike had led us to believe we would get. Instead Dave told us he could only do the $10,000 difference. That did not and still does not sit well with me. So, we went back and forth and even meeting him in the middle at $8,500, he still wouldn't do. Still not being happy with that and getting ready to leave to go back to Suntrup, he told us what he could get us into for a difference of $5,500, but with no major warranty, which again I didn't like because Suntrup warranties ALL their vehicles at no extra charge (even though Dave III tried to downgrade it, I have personally owned cars from Suntrup and know others that have as well and their warranty is the BEST). Anyway, all that aside, we finally decided to purchase from Sinclair thinking it was the better deal, but today, the next morning after getting my car home and driving it for the first time I noticed it had several chips in the windshield. I called Dave III and left a voicemail at 8:35 a.m. as well as sent an e-mail to him. He DID NOT call or e-mail back. He had Wade call me, which should not have happened, because I contacted Dave and wanted him to respond. I told Wade the issue and right away he says used cars are sold as is as far as body condition. I told him that is not necessarily true, because when you make a car deal all kinds of things are written in that deal and blemishes, scratches, etc. can be taken care of if agreed upon. He then continued to say that he knew Dave gave me a great deal on this car and to that I said that has nothing to do with it. It doesn't matter how great the deal was I did not want a vehicle where I right away had to stick a bunch of money into a new windshield and had I seen it the day/evening we looked at it, I would have pointed it out then and if you would not have it fixed I would not have purchased the car, but because of the snow and salt and grime on the car the chips could not be seen until it was clean. He sounded very condescending telling me "now Kathy", "calm down Kathy", etc. and I told him not to speak to me that way. Sinclair advertises "if it's not right, we'll make it right FREE", well guess what one day, not even a full 24 hours after I left they don't want to do anything. He finally told me to bring it in so he could look at it, but the shop normally treats them and I asked couldn't he just see if that was in the paperwork and he said he could, but he still wanted to see it. Yet, another trip to Sinclair! If they DO NOT fix it, I DO NOT want the car PERIOD!! I'll do another review after I see them today at 5:00 p.m. to say if they stood by their motto. I do believe this will be the last time I go to a Sinclair dealership and at this moment I would not recommend them to anyone. **I have so much more to add to this, but I'm almost out of characters, so that's why I can't elaborate on everything and just trying to get the main issues out there.**

I would like to start off by saying the sales person (Doug Cotton) who initially helped me was fantastic. He made a terrible process (buying a car) a very easy and comfortable one. The trouble comes in after I had to start communicating with Jeff Thurman, a different sales person. Jeff is probably the least thorough person I have ever had to deal with. I will give an example: The car that was purchased for my wife had a few touch up spots that needed some repair. I figured with a little touch up paint I would take care of them myself. I contacted Jeff and he indicated he would take care of getting me some paint. After a second email request he told me the parts department had the paint and it was waiting to be picked up at "my convenience". My wife went to pick up the paint from the parts department and would you believe it was not there nor had anyone ever spoken to Jeff. Now we will have to make another trip to pick up something that was supposed to be there to pick up at our convenience. I will also give a second example: My wife had to make a trip to the dealership to sign something to get a duplicate title, no big deal I am sure this happens all the time. I told Jeff when she would be coming hoping that the paperwork would be ready and would you believe it was not. My wife waited 15 minutes and started to back out of the parking space when Jeff came out with the paperwork. This is not how any of this should have gone. Very poor customer service after the vehicle was sold. This has left me with the impression that after the sale they could care less because they have your money. I hope I am wrong but that is how we feel. By the way the 2013 Ford Flex SEL that we purchase is great, so at least they got that right.

Beware of buying used vehicles at Dave Sinclair. Buying process took hours and at the end to very negative surprises. First, only one set of keys provide (and this was a Ford bought at a Ford dealership) and Second, Emissions Safety Inspection was out of date. This caused us to bring the vehicle back and wait for 1.5 hours while they had time for us.

went in on tuesday to trade in my truck for a 2013 and felt all was going good did have to wait 3 hr for them to get me out of there which i think is redicuolus.. when i got home i seen they also had a 2013 same make/model for 3 grand cheaper in a diff. location called dealler about this he stated he got me a good deal and was nothing he could do.. also they called wanting my cadilac converter for truck i traded in (understandable) i requested in return they fix chip i found in windsheald and giver me a ress hitch that didnt come on truck with "towpackage" dealer stated theyd fix ship but no hitch.. poor attitude along with days trying to get ahold of him.. done told others not to do buisness there and i will never return as well.. needless to say keeping the cat... they can go get a new one...

I traded for a vehicle from this dealership on a Friday night. I regretted my decision that night and continued to throughout the weekend. That Monday morning at 8:30am I called the dealership and told them my dilemma and requested to buy back my car, at my own expense. I was told my car was "unavailable" until Wednesday or Thursday (by a sales manager) and would be called as soon as it was available to work out another deal. Finance contacted me on Wednesday to inquire about insurance on the vehicle I purchased, upon which I explain I was waiting for my former car to become available so that I could buy it back. The gentleman from finance told me he was unaware of this situation and would speak to my salesperson. Later that same day, I received a message from my salesperson asking if I could come back to the dealership tomorrow (Thursday) to work a deal on my car. Thursday morning I received another message stating someone had already applied for financing on the former vehicle which I intended to buy back. I requested to speak with another manager who, 4 hours later, returned my call to inform me my car had been driven off the lot and was unavailable. Not only had the dealership neglected to contact me (as stated) to inform me my vehicle was available, but as I was speaking to the dealership the very day my car was actually available, I was not informed at this time nor was I called back at any time this day. LONG story short I did everything in my power, starting Monday morning at 8:30 to buy-back my former vehicle (again, at my expense) and was, for lack of a better phrase, jerked around until the car I wanted was sold. This dealership cars only about selling a MASSIVE quantity of cars and not so much about communication with customers. I understand completely that it was my own personal decision to purchase the vehicle on Friday and that was not the dealer's fault. But the fact I was told one thing (that I would be called when my car was available) and given another (that the car was sold without anyone contacting me) is quite telling on how this dealership values after-sale customer satisfaction. THE KICKER: I was told by the manager that he had never had this happen before. True, a carbon-copy situation had most likely never occurred. But, I told him according to THESE VERY REVIEWS that I was not the only customer who had purchased a vehicle, was not satisfied with it, and dealt with poorly. He told me you can find bad reviews of anything out there and that only dissatisfied customers write such reviews. This concludes my review. This dealership not only practices poor and misleading communication with customers, but dismisses negative reviews and feedback given by paying customers.

I had a horrible experience with this Service Department. This was the second Ford Dealership I took my car to about the issues I am having with my 2013 Ford Fiesta (which I haven't even had a for a year yet). They call me to tell me basically the issues of my car are normal and there is no way to fix them. So I ask the man to explain and he said "The blurb I am putting in with your paperwork better explains it". The man who was dealing with my car couldn't even explain to me why I am supposed to be okay with these issues I am having with my new car. Then I go to pick up my car and I am standing out in the cold for a while just waiting and finally someone pulls up in my car, gets out of the car, walks by passed me, then looks back and says "are you the owner?" and I said yes. I was expecting him to come talk to me about my car but no he just turned right back around and continued walking away. I was so frustrated with them that I didn't even notice until I was half way home that they didn't even fix the issue of my oil light being on and I don't need an oil change. So now I have to GO BACK to a dealer to get that light turned off but I am DEFINITELY NOT going back to this dealership.

I have bought and leased several trucks from this dealership. I requested and online quote for a 2013 Escape that showed 8 miles on it in the ad. I received a quote with a good price. I called and made an appointment and stopped by for a test drive. At first he was unable to locate the vehicle. He asked another salesman who informed him the car was a demo and had been brought back the night before. So I asked what does Demo mean. He explained that buyers take it home so as to not put more miles on their trade-ins. I didn't quite understand this but ok. We rode around and found the vehicle. It was covered in a heavy dust including the windows, ( like it had been driven down a dirt gravel road). At that point my mind was already telling me NO not this car. I looked around the outside of the car to see if there were any scratches but I couldn't see through the dust. I took it for a test drive and it drove fine, however it had 6729 miles on it. When we got back I went in and talked to the salesman and told him that I did not consider a car with this many miles to be new. I wasn't going to pay a new car price for a car that had already been used by I don't know how many people. I was not happy with this experience and think this should have been handled differently. I called early in the day and told them about what time in the evening I would be there. I would think someone would have told the salesman what car I was coming to see and he could have made sure what condition it was in to show it. When I got there he didn't know what car I was there to see. Somebody dropped the ball here. The next day (today) I went and bought a 2014 Escape from Bommarito Ford and my experience couldn't have been any better.

I bought a used SUV from these guys and got a good deal. The problem comes in when the transmission started messing up two days after we got it. As promised they put a transmission in it to fix the problem. But what they did was get a transmission out of a salvaged vehicle with more miles on it than the vehicle we had purchased. The SUV has 76k miles and the transmission they used had 80+k miles on it. So to be clear this transmission was not new or rebuilt, it was used. Most places get away with doing this because they cal the transmission reconditioned. Once confronted about this fact we were talked to by three different people. All three tried to pressure us on the fact that it is was a good deal since they were going to warranty that transmission for 12 months and 12,0000 miles. We stood firm on the fact that we didn't want a SUV that had a transmission replaced with a used one. The final result was that we gave the SUV back and canceled the deal. So word of caution to anyone out there, a dealer that is willing to do this sort of thing is not worth buying from.

On 3-11-3 went to Dave Sinclair Ford to look at a mini cooper it was snowing so i went in side to see if i could look at it and was greeted by Mr Sinclair he ask if i need help told him would like to look at the mini cooper he went and got a sales person he came right over . Matt the sales person was great . He cleaned off the car took it for a test drive after that made a deal. On 3-2-13 i picked up the car Matt was great to deal with and the Finance Department was great . If you go here ask for Matt great to deal with

Had a great car buying experience at Dave Sinclair Ford! I was searching all over the STL for a decent running low mileage well priced pre-owned vehicle for my 16 year old daughter. Upon arriving, I was instantly greeted by a pre-owned salesman named Christian Keating. He was very polite and interested in my specific wants and needs for my daughter. He offered several fantastic options and allowed me to test drive each vehicle. I was very impressed by his knowledge of each the vehicles specs and features. The salesman was awesome and I feel I got a great deal! Sending my brother in soon to get a truck!

This was a terrible car buying experience. The car we came to look at was not even there after we drove an hour and a halt, even though we were told it was. After wasting many hours there, we finally bought a 2011 Malibu for a much higher price than the one we came to see. When we came back with our chashier's check to get the car, they had decided to take the GM certification off and had removed the key fob with the remote start button and switched it for a plain one. We ended up buying the car, but after nearly a month we have received no paperwork and I can't even get the car licensed. I have made repeated calls to the sales manager, Mike Hatfield, and have been promised paperwork repeatedly, but have never received anyting. These people are dishonest and disorganized. Nobody there even seems to know what is going on.It took forever to get anything done and then nothing was done right. Take my advice and shop elsewhere!

Traded in a perfectly fine truck to get something with better gas mileage. I bought a 2007 equinox after only 2 months I had to take it in to get a lifted repaired. Dave Sinclair Ford could not get me in and sent me to Dave Sinclair gmc where it was in the shop from Dec. 7th till Dec. 18th I got it back the next day it started idling bad and the heater started blowing cold air and the check engine light came on. It was in the shop for 11 day and ended up getting a new engine and now its Dec. 19th and I have to take it back in already. I also got a tire rotation with my last oil change and was told I'm going need 2 new tired soon. I have always bought from weber Chevrolet and sent people there but at the time did have what I was looking for. Next time I will wait for that right car from there I will never buy another car from Dave Sinclair again.

After buying 4 new cars in 5 years, we bought a car for our son ... a 2010 Mazda. After having it a few weeks, we found out there was some hidden damage that was not on the car fax report. We alerted the dealership about it and they said "tough" (paraprasing). So much for their slogan ... "if it's not right, we'll make it right". They just lost a good customer and everyone we can convince not to buy from them.

Shopping for used taurus on internet ran across one at Dave Sinclair contacted dealer soon got response back from internet manager Matt set up time to come test drive, he informed me this car was at another store but would have it at Lindberg store so I wouldn't have to travel no further than I was already coming 2 hrs north from Spfld,IL. I thought that was cool talk about service, well i arrived next day around 10 am the car was there, wasted no time took it for spin the car was so clean and drove great not mention no pressure sales approach by John my salesman. I told him lets get down to business i told him what i wanted out of my truck for a trade, we agreed on a fair price, the car was mine, wow fast not to mention I felt good about the deal. Dave Sinclair's sales team is very proffessional I highly recommend to anyone who looking for quality vehicle.

Found a vehicle online, called to make sure it was on the lot and we were told it was. Drove 2.5 hours to find out it wasn't on that lot, but at another dealership. Showed us another vehicle we liked, but gave us the run around on that one and tried to sell us another car we didn't like. Called a couple days later to ask if we would come back and look at the one we originally went for, and the salesman was supposed to call back with the price. He never called, so we called back a few days later and he told us the car was sold. When the car was still listed on the website a few days later, I decided to call and was told that the car was still on the lot. I don't appreciate being lied to. Obviously they don't value customers, I will take my money elsewhere.

I should start by stating that I have never liked a auto sales consultant before yesterday, when I purchased a new 2012 Ford Edge SEL. I had dealt with 3 dealers before coming here on this particular purchase, and over 3 total new car purchases I have visited probably 15 dealerships. Jeff is far and away the best sales consultant, and Sinclair Ford is the best dealership I've worked with. I recommend Jeff for these primary reasons:1) Jeff is straightforward. He did not play the "negotiating the difference on your trade" game where two variables are introduced into your negotiations (new purchase price and trade value). He is the only person I've ever witnessed to be honest in this way! 2) Efficient: We walked in, gave Jeff an idea and within a couple of hours were walked out with a brand-new vehicle that we love!3) Friendly: we enjoyed Jeff's and the rest of the staff's senses of humor and easy-going attitude. It felt different all-around. The pressure sales tactics weren't there, rather it was a group of helpful people who worked to make your purchase experience FUN! If you're not interested in walking in to a dealership and having them act like you somehow 'owe' them something, go to Sinclair Ford. They will treat you as with candor and with integrity. My in-laws, who were with us just to watch the little one during out purchase, stated that they wished they had bought their Taurus (2011) from them as well. Both the in-laws and I will be back to Sinclair without a doubt, and Jeff will be our guy. Thanks, Jeff and Sinclair Ford for making the entire experience a joy.

Here is the email describing our visit to Dave Sinclair Ford. It has been almost 2 weeks and I have not had a response...I am responding to the letter you sent me after my wife and I visited your showroom the weekend of June 2nd. I have lived in STL for most of my life and have seen countless Dave Sinclair commercials. Before coming to your showroom my impression of Dave Sinclair Ford was very positive. After our visit, it is hard for me to imagine ever doing business with your organization. My wife was beginning her search for a new car and was looking at the Focus hatchback and the Honda Fit. When we came to your dealership we were interested in driving the Focus hatchback to see if it was a good fit for my wife. After waiting for nearly 5 minutes we were introduced to your salesman, Mike Havicon. We explained that we were not buying that day and just wanted to test drive the Focus hatchback. After the test drive, Mike began questioning me why I would ever consider buying a Honda Fit since it was not an American car. That was major turnoff #1. I work hard for my money and I can consider buying any vehicle I want I dont need old fashioned guilt and bullying in my car buying. After our test drive my wife wanted a booklet to review the Focus at home. Mike told us to sit at his desk. After a while he came back with the Focus booklet. We thanked him for his time and stood up to leave. Mike said to wait until he told his sales manager what was happening. I told Mike we were leaving. Major turnoff #2.From the design of your showroom to the way your sales staff behave, I felt like I had gone back in time 20-30 years. My wife and I want to be treated professionally, not bullied with a bunch of old-fashioned sales gimmicks. Considering the experience we had, I doubt we would have bought a car from Dave Sinclair even if you had the lowest price. Just thought you would like to know.

This was the fourth Ford dealership i had been too in St. Louis county. I knew exactly what trucks i was interested in and what i wanted too see. The other 3 dealers i had seen were a very different experience then Dave Sinclair was. Cerame, Suntrup, and Behlmann can only wish to be some day the type of dealership that Sinclair is.I bought my new F-150 on June 13th 2012 from Jeff Thurman. He is the first and only car salesman that i would ever recommend to see. Mr Thurman was top notch my entire visit. He did not try to give me a run around pricing game that i had experienced elsewhere. if you are lookiing to buy a new vehicle save yourself some time and just go into Dave Sinclair and ask for Jeff Thurman. he is the most patient and honest car salesman i have ever met. Also Sam Gianino who did my financing was also a very friendly man and a pleasant experience. And i did not get the name of the young lady who showed me how to set up Sync in my truck but she was also very friendly, and easy on the eyes. Thank you Dave Sinclair Ford Team for making my experience a pleasant one. First Class all the way.

The worst dealership and customer service that I've ever seen! I was purchasing a 2011 ford f150 limited and I called my salesman (terry weir) several times to see if the truck was available and he said "yep still here with your name on it do u want to take a test drive". I said yes and to get my financing ready to purchase the limited. I gave all my information to terry and he said he walked it back to the finance manger to get me approved for the truck. I told terry I would be arriving at 5:30 on 04/25/2012 at the dealership to pick up my new truck. I arrived at the dealership and asked for terry and they paged him to the building. I stood outside and watched a salesman driving towards me on a golf cart. The salesman stopped at a white ford truck that looked similar to a limited and wrote down the stock number. He then got on his golf cart and drive towards the building. He got off his golf cart and walk by me and told me to wait he had to talk to the manger. At this point I figured something had gone wrong and that they sold the truck prior to my arrival. The manger walked out and terry and said nope the truck gone and was delivered last night. I asked the manger if he was sure and he said yep. The manger then tried to offer me another vehicle at which I was not interested in. The facts are that I called several times to confirmed my truck was still on the lot. I wasted my valuable time and gas money to go up there and purchase that truck. I would advised family and friends do not buy anything from Dave Sinclair ford dealership. I believe that his dad said if it not right we will make it right. I believe this was not the case today. It has been a sad event at Dave Sinclair ford today.Respectfully submitted Valuable customer

Jan 31st. I searched internet for a Flex. Made several inquires to Dealers. Found one I like at Sinclair. Talked to Gena about car....great vehicle, checked price, great deal. Asked her if we could buy over the phone if we put down money. Then Mike called and said that in order to get the $5,000.00 Ford rebate (it expired on the 31st) Need to fax copy of Drivers license, and credit card, and fill out on line credit app. After he got my fax, he would send a form for us to sign that we were buying the car. Later in the day, I received a call from one of the other dealers that I made an inquired to. I told them I had found a vehicle and would be driving to STL to get it on the weekend. They said, why? We'll get it here for you. (We live in NW Missouri. STL would of involved an overnight stay and $$ for hotel, food, and gas) So, we went to the other dealer, they started the paperwork, called Sinclair (Sinclair dealership closed at 6 pm) Sinclair said their trade person left at 4, and so our person was to call back the next day. They did. Sinclair first told our dealer, they couldn't' find the vehicle, they thought it had electrical problems and weren't sure where it was. They told our dealer that they weren't happy about sending the vehicle, and they wanted a trade...OK...Then approx. about 4 pm (on the 1st), my dealer called and said it was all arranged that someone was leaving Sinclair at 4:00 am the next morning and our vehicle would be at our dealership Thursday. (We had left a $1,000.00 deposit with our dealer, and our dealer stated that all the papers had been filed with Sinclair) Around 5:00 pm that same day I received a message from Randy (a Mgr. at our dealership) that Sinclair called and told them there was hail damage on the vehicle. I called immediately and said, I want the vehicle they can reimburse me the hail damage insurance $$ or fix it. Our person said they'd get in touch with Sinclair. I believe they practiced unethical business because at NO TIME did Sinclair ever inform my dealer that there was hail damage until late that afternoon. ALSO.... they were going to sell me the vehicle over the phone, had requested a down payment, and NEVER mentioned anything about an electrical problem or hail damage! After several phone calls, from myself and my dealer, on Thursday they told us there was hail damage. (This was in the afternoon about 3:00 p.m. It took all day for them to "locate" the vehicle. They actually said someone had taken it to an auto show at some point and lost track of it.) Im not understandinghow did they agree to ship it in the first place if they couldn't even find it? I had to get the President/GM of the company involved. Hes the one that found it, and verified that there was hail damage. My dealer said they had had the vehicle on their lot for over 360 days. Sinclair admitted to my dealer the hail damage occurred in May. My dealer warned me that it was risky buying this vehicle. One person said there were electrical issues with it, one said no. And we dont know how much it would cost to fix the damage. I opted not to purchase it, and so now, I have no new vehicle as the $5000.00 rebate ended the 31st.
