I've never had anything except outstanding service from Syverson Auto. Ive gotten 7 out of my 8 cars from them starting at age 16 and continuing 33 yrs later. I just got a new Nissan Rogue, and they handled everything, so I only had to tell them what I wanted, got a quote with no hidden numbers, and signed the paperwork. They even set up a special delivery to Gary, IN because I couldn't get to MN to pick the car up. This is one business I trust when it comes to cars and service.

Shawn Shill met us in the lot soon after we arrived. He answered all of our questons and showed us all options. After doing about three months of research and searching through all truck makes and price ranges, Shawn had the one for us! Darren was efficient and organized when we sat down to do the paperwork. The shop staff had our new F150 ready to go quickly. We are very pleased with everyone and have a beautiful, sharp-looking, quiet and smooth riding pickup in our garage!

I went to Dave Syverson VW looking for a rather rare car, a new VW Golf R. These cars are hard to find, and they happened to have a new one that recently came in and were a reasonable drive away. Nick and George helped us with the test drive, financing, and ultimately the purchase/pickup of the vehicle. Of all the different dealers that I've worked with for car purchases over the years, this was the smoothes, easiest, best put together experience I've had. Nick and George were communicative with out being overbearing, understanding of my schedule, polite, and absolutely professional. They answered all of my questions in as much detail as I asked for, and worked hard to make sure that I was satisfied with ever aspect of the car, and buying experience. On top of that, their pricing structure is very fair, open, and honest. I didn't feel like I had to fight for a fair price from them. They treated me with respect, and it was easy to find a price that we were all happy with. When we ultimately went to pick up the car, they had already taken care of the bulk of paperwork before we arrived, making it an easy in and out experience. Totally seamless and smooth. Nick, George, and the rest of the staff at Dave Syverson created an outstanding buying experience for me. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again and would encourage anyone in the South East Minnesota area to strongly consider them for their next vehicle purchase. Keep up the good work!

We had been searching for MONTHS to find a car that had great gas mileage, decent options and looked good too (a car my husband would drive!). We finally decided on a Nissan Altima....but choosing the dealership was challenging. I can't stand the typical "car buying experience" and we had met plenty of the types we were trying to avoid during our search. I had contacted a couple dealerships locally but wasn't feeling really good about it. I was a little nervous about driving 2 hours to Dave Syverson Auto ... what if it was the same old tacky car salesman waiting for us when we got there?!? What a waste of a beautiful Saturday morning! Nick Olson and I spoke over the phone the day prior, I wanted to try to get a few things lined up before we went - I just had a feeling this was a good one! I couldn't have been more right! The entire process was exactly what it should have been - simple, easy, organized and FUN! ( I get so wordy, I'm sorry) I'll sum it up with this: even if you are a little unsure - maybe it's kinda far to drive, or perhaps you saw a review that made you a little hesitant - do yourself a favor and do it! I can't speak for everyone there, but if you work with Nick Olson and Darren Daedlow I feel confident saying you won't be disappointed!!

I had been looking for a new car on and off for a year. Specifically a Honda Fit, blue please! So I would browse sites like carsoup and find something that looked pretty good, but never actually pursue checking the car out. This was my first solo car buying experience so the idea of dropping that much money on my own was a big intimidating adult moment! Eventually I came across this Fit at Dave Syversons and for some reason this is the one that made me feel ready. I live up in the Twin Cities so it was a good hour and some to stop in, but it was absolutely worth it! Even though I was a pretty clueless on the car shopping/buying process I felt at ease the whole time working with Greg and Darren. They were both great about all the questions my bf and I had, explaining how things worked or what paperwork I was signing. No pressure whatsoever! Also Justin was great with my scattered e-mail chatter when I first found the car. If you live in the Twin Cities or anywhere a decent distance away from Albert Lea, do not write these guys off - it's worth checking them out. I've very happy with my experience with the Dave Syverson dealership and highly recommend them

I am always really leery about going to car dealerships when it is time to trade vehicles. You pull into the lot and get chased down and pressured as soon you take a quick peak at anything. This did not happen at Dave Syversons. I actually went to the door of the office before I ever even talked with someone. "The competiion was keen for this award." (A plagiary from Air Force days.) The award being my not going to Fairmont instead of Dave Syverson's. The two vehicles were what could have been a "heads or tails" scenario. The "other one" had a few more dust particles to look past on the dash, (as your "Detailer" does darned good work,) during test drive and your service center looked more tweaked as well. I'm sure there will be a couple times when I can do a "change" quicker than the trip over but that's O.K. The importance of a professional look won't allow me to do that regularly. Donna is nothing less than a blessing to your reason for being at Albert Lea...you decide what that might amount to. She has what can't be taught. Keep taking chances that some body is going to take cookies home with them. The treats area with out a few sweets to go with the complimentary coffee and "cocoa" can turn into "Tums territory" in a hurry. Tsk. I always try and give our 'local' Rochester Nissan dealership a chance to earn my business, but inevitably receive better service and pricing from somewhere else. That was the case when I stumbled upon Dave Syverson's Auto in Albert Lea. Salesman, Nick Olson and sales manager, George Gonzalez didn't disappoint. Not only did I get a great deal, but they went the extra mile in securing both the color of the vehicle I wanted and extra amenities from a different dealership in Iowa. About a month after I leased a 2016 Nissan Rogue, my daughter in college in Wisconsin, began experiencing mechanical problems. I knew right away who to call - Nick and George! Not only did they work tirelessly on finding a vehicle my daughter could afford, but they bent over backwards in accommodating the exchange of the vehicles all the way from Wisconsin. We recently moved to the area and were simply looking to get our oil changed at a trustworthy service center. From the service tech to the salesman and to the account manager, we were very impressed. Service Tech didn't try to sell us on petty repairs and simply told us what we need to address in the near future and that was it. Ended up just checking out what they had in their lot and then Matt came up and introduced himself. We small talked for the first few minutes and he understood i wasn't looking to buy at the moment and he didn't press the issue on what so ever. I decided to schedule a meeting with him the next morning just to run the numbers. Once again no pressure that morning. We ran the numbers and i knew i could make it work. He told me not what i wanted to hear but what i needed to hear with buying my first vehicle. Matt and the Manager also found rebates and savings that were pretty astonishing. What topped it off is after the sale and papers signed, Matt helped me surprised my wife with our brand new 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan. (she thought we were getting a used 2008 Caravan)....it was definitely a great experience and I know where I"ll be taking my business for now on!!!

Bought a 2012 Nissan Frontier SL Crew Cab at the committed price. More important was the great customer service by Craig Loehr. He personally contacted us after we submitted our On-line inquiry (Saturday) and we bought the truck the following Monday morning. He knew the history of the truck and able to answer all the questions we asked. His follow up a day after was important. I noticed recently that many dealerships outsource their marketing and customer contacts. At a couple dealerships I was contacted by telephone by an individual, and when I got to the dealership and asked for that person, I was told that the individual did not work there and met with one of the dealership's sale rep. I appreciate that Craig was the 'real' person that I spoke on the phone and who I dealt with when we bought the Frontier.

I bought my first car 37 years ago, a 1978 Jeep Cherokee. It took over 2 hours of arm wrestling with the salesman to arrive at a sale price. And I didn't get a particularly great deal. You have to know this to appreciate my current experience, buying another new Jeep. I did my homework on the internet. The sale price of my new vehicle was out in the open and it's reasonable. They looked at my trade in (and I'm thinking, "oh yeah this is where the problems will start") and made me a very reasonable offer right away. Spent about 20 minutes test driving the vehicle and about 2 minutes coming to a sale price that was very fair. Mark was excellent to work with, very professional and helpful. Buying a new car from these guys is no longer like going to the dentist. I recommend them.

I purchased a 2015 Nissan Versa from Dave Syverson's on August 2, 2014 the sales staff was excellent to deal with. They stayed past closing time on a Saturday to get all the finance stuff done so I could take the car home that day. Overall great experience that day. I commute 35 miles each way to work everyday and it only took a couple days for me to come to the conclusion that this 2015 Nissan Versa was not a freeway commuter vehicle. It was drifting/swaying side to side at 70 mph to the point that it was more of a wrestling match to keep it in one lane. I became very dissatisfied with my purchase and on August 8, 2014 I returned to Dave Syverson's and voiced my concerns they immediately(within 5 minutes) pulled the Nissan mechanic off what he was working on and had him go for a ride with me. He rode with and then drove the car and he agreed with me that there was something wrong with the car and said that I should not drive it. When we return to the dealership he told the service manager about the car and I was immediately given a loaner car to drive while they looked into what was wrong. To make a long story short I drove one of their loaner cars for two months putting on 2400 miles while they dealt with Nissan and all the various repairs that Nissan wanted to try to correct the problem. In the end the car could not be made to go down the road straight at highway speeds and Dave Syverson's team got them to repurchase the Versa back and I received every penny I spent plus interest back with absolutely no hassle or expense to me. I appreciated the service and experience with them so much that I purchased another vehicle from them to replace the Versa. I talked with many people at Dave Syverson's through this process and everyone was very helpful and understanding. Kade Vershey is the general manager and is committed to top notch customer service. Craig Loehr is the salesman I dealt with for this purchase, I have purchased a total of 4 vehicles from Craig throughout past 15 years.

I bought a 2006 element two years ago from Dave Syverson Auto Center. I drive a lot and needed something more newer. My credit was not so great but thought I would go back to Syverson's and just try. I knew what I wanted and told Matt I wanted the Nissan Juke. I didnt want anything else but that. And boy did they come through. Matt, George, Kathy and of course Bob. I could of never gotten into my dream car if it was not for Dave Syverson and their staff. My mom even purchased a new Fusion. I would like to take this time to warn people about the service that my father did NOT receive at Dave Syverson Ford in Albert Lea, Minnesota.In 1987, my father was in a motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed. He has had to have specialized vehicles in order for him to have transportation. He has always chosen Ford vehicles. He now has a full size E250 van. Exactly 3 years and 28 days ago his transmission went out. It cost him $3,600.00 to have a brand new transmission put in. It had a 3 year or 100,000 mile warranty on it. It went out again, like I said, 3 years and 28 days later. That transmission only had 44,000 miles on it when it went out for the second time and would cost him another $3,800 to fix.My father is not asking for the warranty to be honored as it was 28 days expired, but he was trying to get Dave Syverson Ford and FORD Motor Company to work with him. Maybe cut part of the labor bill or give him a transmission at cost. He is a retired veteran and is living on a fixed income because of his accident.My father talked to many people in his search for help, Tim Mann, the General Manager of the Albert Lea store, who said his hands were tied and that my dad would have to talk to FORD. So he called April who was a corporate customer service worker and Aprils manager, both of whom told him Sorry, but there is nothing we can do. I find this hard to believe Just be aware that if there are problems with your vehicle, you may not get the help that you deserve at Dave Syverson Ford in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Andy Henschel

We were quite pleased with the sales department's willingness to locate the exact vehicle we were looking for. Since 1988, we have purchased a total of five Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth vehicles. We would rank this dealership at the top; in a virtual tie with one of the other places we've purchased a new vehicle. Features on the vehicle were demonstrated, and explained, to us very well. We are extremely happy with the vehicle itself: a 2014 Dodge Journey. It has exceeded our expectations in every way. Although rated at 25 mpg highway, we have had little difficulty exceeding that figure by 2-3 mpg by using the on-board digital display to modify our driving habits. The vehicle is, by far, the quietest member of our current 3 car fleet, and has a great ride for an SUV. The amount of storage space is amazing. The power of the V-6 engine is also amazing. We consider the price we paid to be good, but not great. That being said, if you factor-in the true cost of driving round trip two or three times to another dealership for a lower price, you'll probably end of paying more overall, as the prices here are not that much higher.

Nick and Travis were the 2 best people I've dealt with in a dealership when looking to buy a car. Friendly, courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. From the time I walked in, till the time I signed the papers, I felt welcome and comfortable like I was at a friend's house. Greg Hanson sold us our 2009 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan and we were very happy with the way he took care of us. My 1997 Nissan Pickup Truck was starting to show its age so my wife and I decided it was time to look for a new truck. I was looking at a 2013 Frontier Pickup Truck on the Dave Syverson sales lot when Greg Hansom came up and asked if I was looking for a new truck. While we were looking at the truck Greg answers our questions and seemed very knowledgeable on the product. He took us for a test drive and pointed out features as we drove. When we got back my wife and I decided that we wanted the truck and Greg took us inside, offered us a cup of coffee, and we sat down in his office. Greg explained what the truck would cost and offered us several financing options. Then Greg introduced me to Bryan Stevens, Service Manager and Mark Raygor, Service Advisor, so that I would be familiar with who I would be dealing with for after sales service to the Frontier. After the truck had been cleaned up Greg took me out to the truck and explained all the buttons and knobs and what their function was. My wife and I are very happy with our sales experience at Dave Syverson Auto Mall and we really appreciate Greg Hanson taking his time to show us our new Frontier to us and explain all the features.

I new I wanted a new vehicle so my fiance and I drove up to Dave Syverson. I didnt know exactly what vehicle I wanted but I new that I wanted something with better gas mileage than what I was previously getting. I explained this to Kerby and he had me test drive 4 different vehicles, he walked me through each and every one of them, explained different options and was very thorough. Once I test drove the Altima, I knew that was what I was wanting. Kerby was very kind in getting the answering all of my questions and I was very comfortable in getting the paperwork signed.

Bought a fairly clean F-150 with 58k on it, been almost a month and everything has went smooth. Truck had brand new tires but came with improperly balanced. Otherwise have had no problems with it. Doug (my salesman) was very nice and helpful. Only negative thing I can think of is they won't haggle on the prices, everything is "Firm"

I found this dealer inquiring on a vehicle, Dave Syverson had fair prices on their inventory and were willing to negotiate on the price and gave me a good offer on my trade in. The staff was honest, there was no Monroney sticker on the vehicle I wanted to purchase, the staff investigated it, and over-night shipped the sticker at my request as part of our purchase agreement. The financing was straight forward, no nonsense, the business manager even asked me if I wanted to skip the extra warranties, which is great, who needs that stuff or the pressure to purchase it. The sales consultant was a very nice man. I really enjoyed the experience.

I found the car I wanted online at Dave Syverson, a 2013 Charger, and was unable to get to Albert Lea for a test drive. I worked with Todd and he was able to meet me on my lunch break for a test drive. I signed the papers and handed him a check from the driver's seat of my new car. They were easy to deal with, up front about all of the charges and incentives, and were extremely helpful in getting me a test drive. I would recommend Dave Syverson to anyone who asked.

I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee locally in Kansas in Jan 2013. I liked it so well I found another online at Dave Syverson in Minnesota and bought it in March 2013. It was a much better, shorter, and less expensive experience, even after driving to Minnesota. Everything was handled via e-mail and total time in the dealership might have only been an hour. I will definitely consider buying my next Jeep from this dealership.

In March of 2013 I had a local dealer here in upstate New York locate a truck for me here and I was concerned with it being so far away so they gave me the dealers info for me to contact directly.
