If you’ve managed to find this Iowa gem then you need not look further! This has hands down been the best car related experience I’ve ever had. “All of the vehicles are hand picked and inspected by a mechanic.” “Quality of vehicle over quantity.” If they have what you are looking for (and chances are they do!) then you absolutely do not have to worry about whether the car, or your family, will be well taken care of! Truly wish more businesses were this great!

He is very laid back and easy to work with. The truck we bought from him ended up needing an oil pump and sensor within a day of buying the truck, but he was willing to pay a portion of the bill to help out! He also let us know if we have any more issues to let him know and he would try to help us out. Would definitely buy from him again.

We purchased an Impala as a family car that will be used by multiple kids as they grow. Darren & Judy made everything seamless. Went looking for a car. This dealer was extremely honest about everything from the very beginning until the purchase. It is difficult to find an honest small town dealership in today's world. This dealer fits that perfectly. Small, friendly, and no pushy sales tactics. I would highly recomend them.

Over the last weekend I was shopping for a new car for my wife. I was looking for something nice at a good price. We called around to a couple different dealership and when we asked questions about there vehicles they would reply saying "hold on let me go look at it and I'll call you back" and then it would take them 3 hours to call back. Wasn't too pleased about that. Finally we came across a vehicle at David A Farmer and gave them a call and spoke with a gentleman about a Chevy equinox and he answered every question I had right away. It was like he knew the vehicle inside and out. The next day we went and looked at it and spoke with the same gentleman and I've never met such an honest dealer. No joke. He was able to get me financed at an amazing rate with a great car at a great price. Couldn't of been happier. Thank you so much you sure made my wife and I very happy. I would recommend anyone to you guys.

Was a very nice pleasant experience. The staff was polite and very helpful in the process of purchasing a new vehicle. Everything I expected did indeed happen. We just purchased a 2002 Honda Odyssey. We knew exactly what type of condition we would be looking at for the price range we wanted and mileage. The van runs great, and Darren was very helpful in answering any questions that we had. He actually offered to help us locate some parts that we will need if we want to do a couple of minor repairs. We had a great experience that you don't get in a larger dealership.

Called on a car listed and lady that answered the phone was extremely rude to me and treated me like I was very stupid. Why would any professional dealership hire someone who does not have any sort of customer skills. The way she talked to me on the phone was totally disrespectful in every way possible. What a joke!! The way she talked to me on the phone just helped me decide to NEVER go there!!!!!!!

I'm so glad I looked on the car finder site. David Farmer Auto had exactly what I was looking for. Great price on my 2002 Cougar! They were very helpful! Receptionist was very friendly and helpful as well! Even though it was sold AS IS, she said if it needed any parts that I could let them know and they could order them at their cost. Love my car-thanks!

My first visit. Very low pressure place, which I like, although almost to the point of not caring whether I bought or not. Funny, the other review currently posted said all Dave, the owner, would talk about was how hard it is for him to buy cars -- and that was true with me, too. It was his excuse for not being willing to negotiate the price, and he did say it a lot. I was sorry he wasn't more willing to haggle. OTOH, I bought the car anyway, so I guess that worked for him. He answered all my questions, but did not offer any information otherwise. He cleared out plugged window sprayer nozzle for me, and checked status of brakes (new). Did not comment or express concern about my concerns about gear shift. I really enjoyed dealing with Theresa, the lady who handled the finance part. She was efficient and friendly. And, when I came back later to pick up my car, the young man working there had washed it for me. I thought the overall experience was pleasant and easy.

I called on a car and the lady I talked to told me the car was as nice as a new car. She was extremely rude to me on the phone. Very unfriendly and unpolite. Went to look at the car and it was no where close to nice as new. Dirty and scratches and dents. Talked to owner and all he would say is how hard it is to buy cars. Very unpleasant exprience.
