What a great experience. we were looking to replace a car that we had come to the end of the line. we find what we were looking for at Dawson's and arranged a test drive. from the moment we set foot on the lot and were greeted by Dan, we felt like we were in the right place. we went out for a test drive and we like the car. we were then introduced to John in the finance dept and he went above and beyond to get us the car we wanted at a price we would afford. we would not hesitate to go back..in fact, Dan is already working on finding another vehicle for us. so forget every misconception you have about used car dealerships. if you want to be treated like family by good, down to earth people who will go out of their way to work with you and put you in the vehicle you want at a price you can afford, go see Dan, John, and the rest of the family at Dawson's

For a vehicle I didn't really feel confident giving a review right after purchase. I'm going on 5 years since purchasing a 2009(6 years old when I bought it) and just had my first repair of any significance, just under $500 for a worn out wheel bearing and new transmission fluid. Dawson's sold me a great vehicle at a good price without any of the usual dealer BS. (I came with my own financing so I can't comment on that, but there was no pressure there.)

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I’m a repeat customer like many of their customers so that should tell you something. But if you need more convincing: 1. John, Dexter and the other guys make the buying experience so easy. There’s no one pushing and prodding you. Instead, they focus on you: what you want in terms of payment and deposit. Then they go and negotiate a reasonable and affordable loan agreement. Best part for me is even with subpar credit, 10s of lenders didn’t pull my credit 2. I don’t know if it’s standard for all vehicles but I received a 1 yr warranty with my purchase of a used car 3. It’s a family owned and run business and they treat you like family as well 4. Well maintained, affordable car 5. Very simple and fast process time. And then they collected the deposit last after all paperwork was complete. I almost thought they forgot about the payment. But to their credit, I never felt uncomfortable or like I was being taken advantage of like other big dealerships.

For 6 months I shopped for a truck on line. Affordable ones were in Va/Pa and local brand name dealers were very pricey. I never owned a truck but wanted one. Out of all my searching I found that Dawson's prices were very affordable for me. I missed the first one I really liked but I would not let the second one get away. I met Dan and Dexter (who are down to earth people) and before you knew it. I had my very first used Ford 150 4x4. Everything went smooth. The transfer of tags, the loan and the overall performance of the truck. Trust me when I say this if you are looking for a solid used truck check out Dawson's first. I've already done the research for you.
