my husband had a recall on the door latch on his Ford Focus. We nagged Day to Ford for over 3 weeks about getting the part. FINALLY called and they gave us an appointment to bring it in. I dropped it off this morning and asked if they'd have it done 2:00 and the service guy says that it "shouldn't be a problem". I work across the Hwy. so it was convenient. I showed at approx.2:25 and saw the car being driven around the building from where I parked so I followed. they parked it at the bay door. I asked if they hadn't even started it yet and after some mumbled remarks between about 3 different guys, I was told the part was on backorder and that he tried to call me. A: he tried to call 15 min. before I got there which was 10 min. AFTER I was supposed to be there. I told him we were told they had the part and to bring it in. VERY INCOMPETENT. No apology, nothing. Now my husband has to keep driving an unsafe car. Apparently they don't care about fixing recalls

I will never buy another auto from Them again or have car repaired,they have had my vehicle 1 month,still not fixed,with no loaner payed 1 month payment without car,worst customer service ever,it still had remaining warranty left but was told the problem was not under that warranty.only 50,000 miles on auto.... Stephanie Reed brought if to Service,It is listed In Richard and Kimberly Smith papers in our name

Ted in the service department was absolutely fabulous he went out of his way to get us taken care of and was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He is an absolute asset to Dayton Ford.
