Lou at Dean Honda was awesome to work with. Finding a car to buy could have been a lot more difficult due the current supply chain shortage. However, Lou made my car buying experience stress free. He kept an eye out for the exact make, model and even color to come into the lot and contacted me right away. He is also very honest and does not attempt to sell you things he knows you do not need. I love driving my new 2022 Honda Accord Sport. It handles very well, has awesome tech features and it's super slick looking. I highly recommend Dean Honda to anyone looking to buy a car in the Pittsburgh and surrounding areas.

Paul (the general manager of service) was extremely helpful in getting me a rental car and, once the part was in, getting me in and out (in about 15 minutes!). That's awsome service. And I understand the reasons behind the wait for parts - due to the millions of cars affected, but Honda (and Paul) got me a rental car to drive during the wait, so I wouldn't be exposed to the potential deadly nature of a bad airbag. I went in at the appointed time for my yearly inspection. I was taken promptly and had a chance to speak to John Belavich, my service advisor. I was advised at the time about the 60,000 mile maintenance schedule which had come due so I arranged for that to be completed at the same time as the inspection and oil change. The work was done while I waited and I was out within 4 hours. In addition, John was able to save me some money, which was greatly appreciated. I love my 2010 Honda Fit and plan to keep it for some time to come. I feel very confident that the quality maintenance I have done at Dean will keep me safely on the road and will only add to the resale value, when it is time to buy my new vehicle at Dean.

Since around 1980 I've owned five Honda vehicles. All except the first have been purchased and serviced at Dean Honda. I would highly recommend them. I've never had a bad experience with Dean in all those years. The service department is exceptional. I usually wait while my car is serviced for routine maintenance and they wait is always minimal. The prices are fair and I feel I can trust them. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was in for a standard inspection/emissions. No work was needed, my vehicle passed on everything, so there was no "repair" to be judged. In the past, however, repairs have been made quickly, with minimal fuss! I appreciate that they were upfront and honest about the repair needs. Some dealers will try and get money from you no matter what, and I can almost guarantee that any other service station (goodyear, monroe, etc) would have done everything in their power to make me spend upwards of $400.00 on things they "refuse to sign off on unless you get the work done." I appreciate that Honda doesn't take that approach!

I got to the appointment at scheduled time and service began on my van as soon as paperwork was complete. John, who I was dealing with, kept me informed on the progress of the inspection. He did a few things for us, that I am sure was out of his way. He called my husband to tell him what needed done to the van and came and told me what him and my husband discussed and decided on. I really appreciated that also.

Complimentary check of safety items-brakes, lights, tires, etc. They seem glad to have you there. 30 days to get a free car wash on site as well.

I dropped my car off the night before to get serviced the next day. Customer service called me at 6:45am the next morning because I had left them a note that I needed the car done by 11am. The car was done before 11am. Also, I asked for a tire rotation but based on their measurements, the tire treads were equal and the tired did not need rotated. Therefore, Dean did not rotate the tires and charged me extra when they could have. Also, the price for the service was only ~$26 because of a coupon from my last service. The coupon included an multi-point inspection, fluids check, tire pressure check, premium car wash, and oil/filter change. That is best price I have seen for this at Dean Honda. Also, I got another coupon for this after the service! Finally, after I received my car back, I used their vacuum outside to clean my car. The nozzle fell off the vacuum while using it so I had to pay another 1$ to use different vacuum. I told Dean about this and they refunded me my 1$ no questions asked. I was happy about that.

I continue to return to the dealer for service that can occur elsewhere for cheaper and closer to my home. Why? Exceptional service! While I had no problems with my most recent visit (12/24/2015 for state inspection, state emissions testing, and oil change), past visit problems have been rectified to my satisfaction. (Trim we had replaced fell off on the interstate one week later. It was again replaced at no cost to me for the parts or labor, without any debate.)

I was looking for a new Honda Accord and I thought I'd get some Internet quotes before making my section of the dealerships I wanted to go to. I emailed the internet sales manager Kelsey Brazell and received a quote that was higher then any of the others dealerships. I replied back with what I was getting from the other places, and the email I got from her was that she couldn't match the price aka "I dont want to work with you" and "Good Luck Finding a Car That Price". I dont know if she is new to the car game or just Naive but to say you don't want my business pretty much, and in a laughing fashion say good luck isnt the way you handle customers. I never again will look at Dean Honda when I buy more cars down the road.

I was extremely dissatisfied with my service on two different occasions in dealing with Dean Honda. Upon my first visit, I was not greeted by anyone (including the employee standing outside). I asked him to show me where a vehicle was. He didn't know so he fetched another employee who did know. He told me it was at their "other lot" and gave me directions to get to such lot. However, he gave me the wrong directions. I went home and contacted a manager the next day over the phone. He apologized and wanted to "right this wrong." He told me to "come out the next week" and he would set me up with a salesman who he "knows would treat me right." He gave me another contact whom I set up a day and time to look at the one specific vehicle I was interested in. When contacting him the day before the set date, the contact let me know that the vehicle was currently being sold and was no longer available. Needless to say that I will never even consider a purchase from Dean Honda, and I would recommend the same to anybody else considering such.

We are nearing the end of a Ford lease and are beginning the process for a replacement vehicle. I've owned several Honda Accords back in the 80's but haven't been a Honda owner for over 20 years. That very well may change. We were out to dinner the other night and Justine H. was talking to the people at the next table. Justine is a service adviser at Dean Honda. Being in the market, of course, I horned into their conversation. Justine is not only knowledgeable in the service end of the store, she seemed up on the entire dealership. In my humble opinion, conscientious employees can make or break a dealership as they interact out in the general public. Justine made us feel as if we would have a real friend on the inside. She is definitely an asset to Dean Honda. Prior to that night I was not interested in looking at a Honda. I am now convinced to add Dean to the short list of possibilities.

Made an appointment for a tire replacement on a Monday for the upcoming Friday - on Wednesday called to be sure they had the tire I needed and got the price---- on Friday dropped off the car and asked them to check all of the tires (due to extreme potholes on all local roads). Said I had other things to do and would be back - they said they'd call me. Never got a phone call. Went back 4 1/2 hrs later and they said they didn't have the tire and went out to get one. 4 1/2 hrs later? And they didn't call me to tell me this from the drop off at 10:30 a.m. until I came back? When they got the tire it took about 15 minutes - slapdash - cost more than I expected since I was told a price over the phone on Wednesday (not an official estimate just told over the phone what the tire and balancing costs). And they didn't check all tires as I had requested nor did they perform their whatever it is 40 point check of all vehicles. Will never go back. It took 5 hrs for one tire to be replaced. Cost more than expected. No phone call. Slapdash attention to the job.

My wife (7 months pregnant mind you) walked onto Dean Honda's lot this Saturday with the hopes of seeing a good selection of Pilots and a clear intention to buy if the price was in our range. What a disappointment! We walked in both lots and not one person greeted us. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought perhaps everyone was busy, so we headed inside...only to meet with further disappointment. We walked to the showroom Pilot opened both the passenger side doors and still no sales person, even with 3 of them standing behind us. We gave them one final chance by walking into the center of the showroom and stood at one of their high top tables, then waited, waited and yes waited some more. All the while, watching the three salesmen walking back and forth talking to each other. They lost us as customers today. We are ready to buy. We were and are still completely frustrated with this dealership, what a waste of our time.

I purchased a Honda Odyssey used and it came with a 3 month 3000 mile warranty. There turned out to be a few problems with it, but they were eager to fix what it needs. Since they need to keep it for a while they gave me a really nice loaner car. I had an occasion to speak with their business manager Susan Gessler, who turned out to be very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Also my Salesman Jason McCellan was great to work with. My car, a 2010 Nissan Sentra, was totaled in an accident that was not my fault. My husband and I decided to start car shopping before getting the settlement check so that we would not have to pay out of pocket for a rental (the insurance company had given us a limited time frame for the rental). We saw a car online at an online car site and it was at Dean Honda. We went down on Saturday, September 20th, and, first of all, had to wait at least 15-30 minutes for a salesman to assist us. We told one salesman that we were interested in a 2005 Mercury Montego. I truly wonder if our wait would have been shorter had we been looking into a new Honda or other new car. We test drove the vehicle with sales consultant, Gil, and noted that the plastic box holding wires behind the rearview mirror was hanging loose. I noted that the clip to hold it in place was broken and brought it to Gil's attention. We expressed strong interest in purchasing the car, and put down a small down payment towards the car (about $100). He stated that day that he would have the part fixed. On Monday, he contacted us to ask about the settlement money and when we thought that it would arrive. We told him that the insurance company informed us it would take about 5 days. My husband told him that we still were strongly interested in purchasing the car but did not have the money for a larger downpayment. Since we still had money on the car, he requested that Gil send him a written statement that the car would be held until we had the check, which would cover almost all of the cost of the car. (We found out later that we had to finance at least $5,000 which was fine). He seemed reluctant to do so and did not actually do this until later in the day (we realize that we are not the only customers, but we were intending to purchase the car). During the waiting time, my husband attempted to contact both Gil and sales manager, Tom, to get this fax at his workplace. He did not get a response, but the letter was faxed later that day. During another conversation with Gil, my husband related that when he asked about the broken part, Gil had told him that it would not be fixed and that was why the car was priced online so "low". Only when my husband addressed this with him, did Gil agree to have the part fixed (it was replaced when I picked up the car on 9/30). When I picked up the car, I noted that the washer fluid was low and my husband later noted that the car oil was a quart low. He stated that he felt that the car had not been serviced as indicated to us regarding an oil change as if it had been, the oil would not have been low. I also had a negative experience with the sales manager, Tom, in attempting to find out more about financing the vehicle regarding the paperwork end, as my husband would not be able to be with me to sign paperwork, etc., on the day that I planned to pick up the car. When I spoke to him, he talked with me in what I felt was a condescending attitude and we did not get to a solution about my financing question until several minutes later, as it appeared that he was not really listening to my question. Our real issues with this dealership were: 1. They did not appear to value our business, in the fact that they did not want to be bothered with the effort that it would take to prepare the vehicle satisfactorily for us, and, 2. were not flexible regarding our predicament with the insurance settlement. 3. I had made arrangements with both Dean Honda and the rental agency to leave the rental car at the dealership and was told that this was "fine". I was told that I was charged for 3 days that I did not have the car that the rental agency could not at first "find the car" on the lot. (I took this up with both Dean Honda and the overcharges with the rental agency). In short the best salesman I have ever met in this industry. I had an unfortunate personal health experience after I had ordered a car and the car arrived. I had to walk away from the deal. One of the owners, Nick Sherman, was beyond gracious, in returning my deposit promptly. During the time I was in the process of buying the car if I contacted Nick by either email or phone, my communication was returned virtually immediately. It was great working with Greg. He was very friendly, sociably, and easy to work with. I highly recommend working with him, as he did not pressure me into buying anything, really willing to work with the numbers as much as possible, and although I did not make a purchase here, he was still friendly throughout and did not have a bad attitude or was not mean when I was in the process of leaving with no purchase. The car I was looking at was at a great price, below KBB value, however, I didn't purchase because it was still more than I was willing to pay. I probably spent about 2 and half hours with Greg, and still, the whole time, he was very patient and kind. He was a real down to earth person.

This was my first time at the new location. Very impressed; clean and beautiful! The wait time wasn't too long for my first oil change. When I bought my car they told me I would get a card to come for free car washes. I have not received it yet, but after asking about it I was given a code to receive a free car wash. I am waiting for my card to get a free car wash monthly. I hope it comes soon!

I would highly recommend Dean Honda for purchasing a car and getting your car serviced there. We recently bought a used Honda at Dean Honda and everyone was very helpful. I just took the car in for an oil change and had a coupon and they were very accommodating. I had an appt. they took my car right away, they had a very nice and clean waiting area for their customers. Vending machines for pop and snacks while you wait, TV and wireless internet. I was very happy and the price was the price of the coupon, no extra charges, for oil disposal, etc. They also gave me a code to get a free car wash, a nice perk.

I contacted the dealership to speak with my previous salesman who I was informed retired. Mr Ryan who took my call that day sensing my dismay at not being able to see Mr Ussia respected my hesitation and invited me to visit when I wanted to. No pressures no "so called used car salesman tactics". Stopped by the dealership to trade in my 2012 Honda Crv to find that what I wanted was not available. Mr Ryan then told me don't worry I can find one for you which to me spoke volumes. It wasn't about what he would get out of the sale it was about me driving off the lot smiling. Long story short I asked to see what 2014's were on the lot and found my baby! Picked her up the next day. Mr Ryan had informed me that due to previous commitments he would not be available when I came to pick up my vehicle. Mr Kokowski was going to finish this sale. It was really nice to walk into the dealership and be greeted by someone who actually was looking and waiting for me! Kudos to Dean I felt like a rock star! A plus from me!

My wife has been taking her Honda there for years and loves them. My car, Cadillac CTS, needed yearly inspections and my normal guy just couldn't fit me in on my schedule. I gave Dean a call and they fit me right in! They were very friendly and did the job quickly. I dropped the car off and they gave me a ride back home-even found someone to do it quickly because the normal guy was tied up. Too bad they can't change my oil! They had just opened the new location three days earlier and I was very impressed. The customer lounge was very nice with power stations and little tables for your electronics.

When she came back the first time with my trade-in value going to be given it was a joke and I almost left then (I don't like to waste time; time is money) but the next time it was better (not good) but I was ok (I know everyone needs to make money and there is a building to pay for) But right now I am upset!!! I have purchased 2 Honda Civics from this dealership. I have purchased both cars through Jason in sales. Brandon in service was very kind and reminded me about a letter I had received regarding a settlement for 2007 Civics and the cross arms which were affecting tire wear. I had received this letter but had forgotten to mention it when I brought the car in for service. The car was initially brought in for intermittent difficulty getting the car to start. Tests were done and indicated the starter needed to be replaced which was covered under my extended warranty. The car now starts with no problem! There was also a noise in the rear passenger side which was found to be a bad shock which is also covered under my extended warranty. The shock was ordered along with new cross arms. I have since received a call that my cross arms are in. I am waiting for my shock to come in then I will be returning for the additional service. Brandon kept me apprised of each test result. The lady who was working the reception desk in service was also very nice and offered the hot beverages that were available which I appreciated with any early appointment. Thanks to all the service staff for a pleasant experience!

I initially called for a oil/filter change. Called back shortly later to also add inspection/emission. Was told I would have to reschedule because putting these services together would take up more than the allotted time slot. I rescheduled & cut my vacation short to take another appt at Dean Honda. Imagine my surprise when the service man asked me if I wanted them to do an additional 30,000 mile service!?! What happened to sticking to an appropriated time frame. I couldn't initially get an oil/ filter change & inspection done together, but once I'm there, then you can do an additional service for an hour or two? WHAT THE HECK???? Just remember, you're not the only Honda dealership/service center in the area.

The light problem was resolved and they only charged me for the diagnosis. I Purchased a very nice 2004 loaded EX Honda Oddessy in November 2012 when purchasing the vehicle it seemed like a really good deal the process was fast and completed in no time they took the vehicle to the service center clean it and everything was good. around January I started noticing static in the DVD player, and the security alarm keep going off on its own when taking it to get the alarm checked I was informed by one of the mechanics that the hold drivers side had an electrical problem when contacting the service center I was given the run around eventually the radio caught fire I replaced that once again I contact the service center mention the problems and they never returned my call or addressed the issues.

I always take my car there for inspection, and oil changes.... i always have great service. i have not had to put anything into the car except for the usual- brakes, tires, and roders. I have never felt like they were over charging me or trying to get over on me. I feel they have always dealt very honestly with me when it comes to inspection. Like i said, i've never needed anything except brakes and tires (and the one time Roders). But for a car that is 10 years old, thats pretty good! They always send me something in the mail to let me know when recommended maintence is required. I absolutely love my car and am sooo happy with Dean Honda and my experinces there. I'm trying to get my husband to buy his next car there! Couldn't be happier!

Would go periodically for service, always found their service advisors and managers to be pushy, trying to get me to buy all kinds of services or parts. I have a fair bit of automotive knowledge, I just don't have the tools to do serious work myself. Maybe all these positive reviews come from people who don't know much about cars? Anyways, decided to get a car for my son, and so I went in expecting their sales department to be of higher quality. Wrong. The salesman put on a friendly facade, but get really anxious when you ask questions, they seem to just want to move cars. The finance department was unhelpful as well. Overall, a very negative experience.

I was looking for a Honda Accord 2013. I called up Baierl & South Hills Honda, but unfortunately could not get a good deal. Then I called up Dean Honda, and Nick gave me an awesome deal - a really low price coupled with loads of freebies (e.g. free tankfull of gas, free state inspection, free oil change etc). The online paperwork & other doc process was over in a jiffy, and I was impressed with the relaxed and friendly attitude of Nick. When I visited their showroom to complete the payment formalities and pick up the car, I was quite amazed. They were very structured and prompt and friendly at the same time, and I was at complete ease. (On the other hand, the Baierl experience was quite irritating. The Sales person was impatient with a boatload of attitude. It appeared that he was almost doing us a favor by selling the car. He was also a touch disrespectful.) That's why I chose Dean Honda and despite the fact that Baeirl was only 5 miles from my place and Dean almost 25 .. I would highly recommend this dealership. A true dean of Hondas :-D !!

I had a check engine light come on my 01 Civic and was able to arrive at the service department without an appointment. The problem was detected and resolved quickly (improper seal from the gas cap). In addition to this issue I was also able to resolve a small oil leak from the valve cover as well as discover my front breaks needed to be replaced thanks to the multi point vehicle inspection that was done. Dean Honda has a friendly staff and went the extra mile for me.

I called Dean Honda because I got a telephone notification of a recall for my 2003 Honda Odyssey. Reception transferred me to Elizabeth, who listened to me explain the problem and immediately set up an appointment for me to bring in the vehicle. She explained how long it would take and what they would do to fix whatever thing was broken. I took my vehicle up to Dean the afternoon before it was scheduled because that was convenient for my wife. The same day, we got a call saying it was fixed, but we could not pick it up until the next day. The person said that was fine. We picked up our vehicle the next day, got our statement which was 0.00 and went on our way. GREAT SERVICE

Went for inspection. Ended up needing rear brake pads. Suggested all fluids serviced and I asked about back brakes. I also asked if they could enable security system so alarm would go off if only key was used. Everything was fine, except for they forgot to reset oil indicator and did not set alarm as asked.

You service mgr. on duty, Sam, saw to it my car was still taken. Also, one of your machanic's,(had a slight stutter)was so helpful in determining the size oil filter wrench needed for the civic. I apoligize for not getting his name, as he is definately an true assist to your team. I purchased a european car from one of the Sherman brother and totally mislead that the automobile was in great condition and even passed their inspectation. Later I found out that they just slapped a inspectation sticker on the car. I took it to a mechanic and had to spent $1000 to get it to state inspectation requirements. The reason I continue to come back to Dean Honda for service was initially when shopping for a new car Dean was the only Honda dealership that worked with me as a woman purchasing a new car. I was treated with much respect and given a great price. The only time I could not use Dean was when my tires when flat after going to a car wash and the Honda towing would not allow me to go to Dean I had to go to Moon Honda. So even though it is a little out of my way because I do work at the airport and Moon Honda is closer I prefer to go to Dean Honda. This past June 11th or 12th, I recently leased a 2012 Honda Accord LX 4-door sedan from Tony at Dean Honda. In less that 2 weeks time, I scratched/bent up my right front wheel cover by mis-judging a turn. I took my car in & the service advisor said that Dean Honda would take care of this for me. He said to have a seat & it should not take very long at all. True to his word, it was all done within 30 or 45 minutes & he said that I did not owe them anything for making this repair. They removed the bent up wheel cover & put on a brand new wheel cover for me at no charge! It was so nice to be treated so well & to know that Dean Honda & it's staff are ready to deliver exceptional service & value to their customers after the sale. Within 2 minutes Mr Ussia approached me and i found him to be very courteous, helpful and he made me feel valued as a potential customer. No hard sells pitch or the so called car salesman nonsense he took the time and made me want to buy a Honda. The dealership went out of its way to make sure that I was satisfied. While waiting for my vehicle to arrive Mr Ussia took ill and Mr Richardson stepped in to finish the sale. When I picked my CRV up he took the time to explain its features and I really did appreciate that. I love my Honda and I will come back to this dealership for my next one!

I called the Service Department to schedule an oil change which they arranged for that same day. They took the car immediately when I arrived and were done in a jiffy. Then they recommended two filter changes which I had them do. They used the coupons that were sent in the mail, and even rewrote the bill to accomodate the better coupon when I opted for the filter changes. Then they washed the car before they returned it to me.

I am not sure of the salesman's name, but he was not really very considerate. I went there to test drive a Hundyai Elantra (SP?). The car was covered in rust. As soon as the saleman found out I did not want to buy a vehicle that had rust on it, he passed me onto another sales man. I felt that he was rude & not necessary. I was disappointed in his attitude.
