2 months ago my husband and I were just starting to think about buying a new car after he had been off work for 6 months and decided to stop in and just look at a new Civic. The salesman talked us into taking it for a test drive and that's where things started to go very badly! The guy knew almost nothing about the car and couldn't answer half of the questions we had. As soon as we got back to the lot he asked us to go inside to exchange info for when/if we decided to buy from them. After going inside and telling him we had to go and would get back to him when we were ready, he goes and gets Ron! "What can we do to get you in this car today? What makes you think you're not ready to buy today? There are only 3 other cars like this on the east coast and we won't be getting another in! Why do you have to go, do you have kids at home?" These were just a FEW of the insane things he said to us! He kept going to talk with whoever about prices and payments after we told him we were not ready for this. We were there for 2 hours and by then I was so upset that I was ready to tell him where to go. My husband had lent even gotten his first pay check and we had explained that several times. I'll never step foot in that place again. As a matter of fact, we're buying the SAME Civic that we looked at there from Valley Honda in Monroeville this weekend. Funny, they had 2 EXACTLY the same on the lot! And our salesman found several others in the area!! They lie and manipulate and pressure you into buying a car from them. DONT DO IT! You'll be very sorry.

Wish I would have read first review that came up on this site before I went to this dealership. What a waste of an afternoon! They tried telling me a different price than the Internet price then told me two more prices in the process of dealing. Tried offering me way less than my car I was trading was worth after it took them an hour to appraise it. Then to top it off they told me that low interest rates on the car I was looking to buy weren't avaible. Called another dealership that day a found out that there were interest rates as low as 0.9 % available on the car I was looking at. The whole process took about 2 and 1/2 hours and wouldnt go back there again. Don't waste your time!

I wanted to deal on an end of the model year. I got a price on the internet for the one that was on the lot. I got an appointment and took my evening to go there. WASTE OF TIME! They lie more shamelessly than any dealer I have ever talked to. The car I wanted was already sold. But lucky me - they just got one in - a 2015 just off the truck. Imagine that with 2016s already arriving. But anyway I look at the sticker price - total vehicle price - around $25,000. Ok, I don't like it but I test drive it. Ok, not thrilled but I'll talk about the deal. I sit down at the desk and now the sticker price is $2400 more!!!!!! xxx!!!! How is end of the model year more than its sticker price?????????????? What a sham! Then I tell the salesperson that I am already approved for my loan - don't need Delaney getting into my financing. But he insists on calling to get the rates for me so I can drive this car home this evening. It's a .25 percent higher than the loan I'm already approved for with the same financial institution. So I was going to be ripped off on the price of an end of the year model and ripped off on my loan rate. I didn't need a middle man for my loan - I was already approved and ready to write the check when I returned, if I had brought this car. BEWARE of this dealer. Worst experience I have ever had.

I was talking price with a salesman and was about to make the one hour trip. He told me the price and I agreed. I then said are you sure? He said yes. As I was on my way he called me and said his Manager would not agree to the price. Basically, he just wanted to get me into the dealership.

She made the process so easy and within a few hours, I drove off the lot with a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. I would really like to thank Delaney's for the amazing deal they gave me on my new car. It was extremely generous of them to give me the "Special Employee discount" and don't worry I wouldnt dream of sharing that with any other salesmen there, because I know that deal was almost unheard of for an employee. Of course they wouldn't try to make a $4,000 profit off of me. They only pillage the ones they really don't like. For a $1,000 over sticker I can't believe I didnt buy 2 of them. What a deal. I'm glad I really liked the vehicle, cause i'll be paying on it for many years to come. By the end of 8 years I will have paid an extra $20,000 but hey thats just pocket change. Would I buy another car there? Yes! I would feel left out if I wasn't thousands of dollars in debt. Thank You guys! It was truely a pleasure doing business with you.

After several days of looking around and comparison shopping, we went back and negotiated an acceptable price for our Honda Accord. Our salesman was very friendly and the sales manager was attentive and respectful. We felt very comfortable there and our shopping experience was a pleasant one.

We visited several dealers looking for a dependable minivan. We were welcomed by several people walking through the door and people were very nice throughout the process. Our sales rep Alan was by far the most knowledgeable we have worked with. The team there worked with us to get a very fair price so both sides were happy. Only dealer I know that gives at minimum a free 3 month warranty on all their used vehicles (we bought a 2004 Odessey). Also offered free 1st oil change and free lifetime inspections! Will no doubt be back for our next car.

I traded my truck for a per owned certified honda accord. Loved the car took it for a test drive. After we got back the sales person matt danko asked what do u think I said great car but I think the brakes are bad. Nothing was said so later on we were discussing the price we couldn't agree so I said I'm leaveing. The sales manager bill brown comes over and introduced himself he said what's going on I said nothing I'm leaving he started raising his voice and getting angry cause I didn't agree with his offer I said the brakes need to be replaced on this car he said there was nothing wrong with them and that they just cut the rotors which they didn't. I returned 2 days later to purchase the car trusting that the brakes they told told me were good and guess what they wern't. So needless to say three days later it cost me over 500 $$$$ to get all four rotors and pads replaced at my mechanic. So I called the next day and asked Dennis Sankey if they would do something about it. They said yea will call u tomorrow I said great I had spoken with dennis sankey. So the next day comes no phone call so I call them talked to matt he says I"ll have someone call u back with a resolve. A few minutes pass Bill Brown calls back and basically says were not doing anything were done here I called him a few choice words and then he hung up on me. Bottom line there crooks they will lie right to your face they didn't even fill the tank and the car was dirty when I picked it up. They never cut the rotors they just put pads on slapped a sticker on it. I called honda and waiting for a reslove and complained heavily about this dealership and how they treat and talk to people. I DON'T CALL BUYING A CERIFIED PRE OWNED CAR THEN HAVING TO SPEND 500 $$$ PLUS DOLLARS TO FIX IT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE... BEWARE AND STAY CLEAR OF THIS DEALER. Ridiculous

I traded my 1988 Ford Econoline van, with 100,000+ miles on it. The truck I got is better on gas and that is it. My van was a lot more trustworthy than this thing.The 1rst month it broke down 3 time. And the last time it was in the shop, they had it for a week. I have replace the hub and had to fix the ABS brakes on this truck on my own to the tune of $1500.00. And the engine light has been on since the 2nd week I had it. They would not fix this problem. And when I tried to trade it in I found out it will need a clutch. If you trust this place with a used car , well just don't. Trust me the headaches I have had are just not worth it. I want me 25 year old van back. It was a mush more reliable car than this thing.

Our salesman patrick was very courteous and polite. He was extremely knowledgable about the vehicle. Billy and Ron, the sales managers, were also very polite and patient. Everyone was very willing and eager to to work with us. They are not your typical pushy salesmen. Everyone at the dealership was ready and willing to work with us and we are an awfully picky bunch. I use your dealership for service and parts on occasion while I'm at school. Your over-the-counter parts prices for things I do myself are much more reasonable than at the Honda dealer at home which is only an hour away, and your service department has been top notch on the two occasions I've used you for service! I will definitely consider coming to Delaney when its time for a new Honda!

Matt Danko is the best sales person I've ever had. He got me out of my old civic and into my now brand new civic at the price range I wanted to work with, and his sales manager sweetened the deal by lowering my monthly payment. I really felt like they took the time to talk to me and were very helpful and accomodating without being over-bearing or pushy. I have been to several other dealers and, being a first-time buyer, I was treated very well and was not made to feel like I was being talked down to, etc. as I have at other places. my salesman was very knowledgeable and friendly as were the other staff I have spoken with. My car recently died, and I needed to replace it before I moved across the country. I've heard from many people about the reliability of Honda cars, and the Honda Fit was the perfect car for my price range. Vince DePaul took me for a test drive in the Fit and talked to me about all the amenities and possible pricing of the car. It was a stress free experience, and the new dealership is really impressive. Vince took me on a tour of the dealership while I was there, and everyone I met was friendly and helpful. All in all, Delaney Honda is a great place to buy a car both for the car itself and the future interactions with the dealership. :) (I found out where I'm moving doesn't have a Honda dealership -- gah! -- so I decided against the Fit. Very sad about it though. It's such a wonderful combination of value, looks, and practicality!)
