I had the privilege of working with Scott Bernard and I can say without a shadow of a doubt it was my best experience at a dealership and will be buying the rest of my vehicles through Scott at Delaware Cadillac. I’m confident all the salesman there are ready to give anybody the same experience Scott provided for me. At most dealership if your not their customer it’s like your invisible but not here. They all treated me like I was there customer holding open doors making sure I didn’t need anything and even just an introduction and small conversation. All things you just won’t experience anywhere else. Don’t let the name scare you away thinking you can’t afford it that their a Cadillac dealership. Had all four tires replaced, balanced, and aligned. Delaware Subaru ordered the tires and they arrived the next day for my appointment. The price was pretty close to what I found online at TireRack so I feel the price charged was fair. I was also told by the service center that there was a rebate. They printed out and completed two copies for me so I will ultimately get some cash back on the investment. The service was the price quoted to me by phone. Shuttle driver arrived quickly to drop me off at work, and was promptly waiting to pick me up in the afternoon. High quality, thorough service. Very pleased.

The afternoon before we were leaving for our Christmas holidayI stopped to top off the gas tank. I could not get the fuel door open!! I called my dealers service department and they said to come right over. They took the car as soon as I got there and though they need to order a part to fix it they were able to give me a temporary fix and I could get gas.

Brought in my 2014 XTS for the normal service and an ongoing problem with the exit feature on this vehicle (sometimes this feature stops working before it completes its function). This has been looked at numerous times and no one seems to be able to fix. However I would like to thank both Walter Feist and service tech Gary Gill for their support in trying to resolve this problem. They have been involved with this problem each time I have brought vehicle in and done all they can to resolve, but the problem still exists and have spoke to Cadillac trying to resolve, but with no success.

I was pleased with the work that was performed. It was done in a timely professional and timely fashion. However I was unpleasantly surprised by the inability to assist me in the performance of additional work that was needed to my vehicle. I know that it is not the responsibility of the service manager to circumvent warranty items, however the vehicle is only two years old and a part that is not supposed to fail has. It would help present and future customers if some kind of arrangement could be made in assisting owners in this type of situation.

I am very satisfied with Delaware Cadillac and understand that they have made a considerable investment to ensure that my vehicle is properly serviced and I am completely satisfied with my Cadillac ownership experience. I used Valet Service pick-up of the vehicle and it seems that all problems presented were taken care of and so far have no complaints. However, I did not think the driver was aware that I only had a Hatem Bridge EZ Pass until he went through the toll booth which has resulted in a Violation of Toll fare. He did bring it to my attention upon return of the vehicle and once I receive the Violation Ticket, it will be mailed to the dealership. I value my excellent driving record, insurance, and strive to not violate the law.

Very attentive Service Department. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. I expected to spend the $79.99 as advertised in the coupon. About 15 minutes into the work, my service guy came out and told me that a nail was found in my tire. He recommended a plug that would cost $39. I agreed. Well, in my other car ( Cadillac CTS) I was ALWAYS charged for synthetic oil. So, I expected to spend about $120 for my visit. Instead, my total cost was only $89. I was told that synthetic oil was not needed! Nice!! Looks like I've been ripped off in the past. I trust the good people at Delaware Cadillac.

Arriving without an appointment to have low tire pressure light checked, I was prepared to leave my car, but the service tech offered to have one of the guys check it as soon as they got in so I could be on my way. Luckily, it was just low on air (no puncture) and I was not charged!

As always, everyone was friendly and professional, and went out of their way to make my experience pleasant while I waited. In addition, I was having a personal problem getting the fog off that builds up on windshields on the inside, and had spent a lot of time and effort trying to get it off, and had realized on the way in that I had only succeeded in creating a new pattern. I was distressed because I had a road trip later after service. They helped me clean it and would not let me give them anything. I didn't say anything at the time besides thank you, for fear of getting choked up, but since I've been having trouble with retinal swelling, I get nervous about being able to see well when I'm going somewhere unfamiliar, and the gesture they made gave me a safe feeling and felt like I had on a new pair of glasses on my trip that afternoon. They are ALWAYS wonderful.

When I arrived at the parking area, the service rep (Walt) met me at my car as I exited the vehicle to get the key and take the car into the service area. I walk with a cane and the extra attention was appreciated as I could go directly to the waiting area, sparing me the walk to and from the service desk. The folks in the Cadillac service dept are always friendly, courteous and efficient which makes for a pleasant experience..

Called the service dept because I could not get the hood to latch after filling the washer fluid. I was told to just bring it in, no appointment necessary. As it turned out, the spring in the latch was in need of cleaning & lubrication. Since it needed that done, I also asked if the oil could be changed. They worked me right in their schedule. Very pleasant gentlemen at the desk!

Was looking for a used car .and they had a very clean 08 GMC Acadia. My salesman name Dick was great and my the whole buying experience great. But after three week there was a noise in the front end . So I took it back to have it look at it . But the time I got it back the 30day warranty had expire but I had only but about fifty miles on it . So after the service department look at I was told it needed a new front strut . And that they wouldn't cover it . So after talking to Walt he told me that the service manger was on vacation and he would talk to him about the problem when he got back. And too give him a call later so now it my job to track him down . Well to make the story short Walt said they would split the cost for the repair. And that my half would be around 350 to 400 dollars for one strut . Well that was just outrageous because I took it to a different repair shop and they did both struts and a four wheel alignment for . 707.00 so to sum up Delaware Cadillac the salesman was great service was the worst

I was shopping for a Subaru Forester in January & online I found a service vehicle that met most of our requirements from the dealership. I corresponded w/ David, who said he could sell me the 2014 Forester for the asking price & include 2 minor add-ons. Before commiting to driving over 100 miles to Wilmington, DE, I wanted to insure the car would be available the next day when we arrived. He guaranteed he would have it ready & waiting for me & even said he put a "Sold" sign in the windshield. So, my wife & I arranged childcare for our 10 month old twins (which I explained to David we would need to do) & set off the next morning for our appointment in Wilmington, DE. We even called to confirm the appointment while en route, but then received a call from David that another saleperson just sold the car to a lady that had walked on to the lot. Frustrated, I asked him what happened to his guarantee & he said he had been "over-ruled" by his manager. I told him that I wanted to speak w/ this manager & he promised I would receive a call. I never heard from the manager. To add insult to injury, a few days later, I received an email from Devon (client relations), that read, in part "...we realize you are going to purchase your car from someone, so why not us?" I responded to her email, explaining why I hadn't (& wouldn't) be purchasing a car from them & added that, despite yet another promise from David, I'd never heard back from the manager. Not surprisingly, she failed to respond or have this manager (or any manager) contact me. If there was a simple miscommunication at their dealership, that's one thing. But the very least they could do after wasting so much of our time & money is to contact us to apologize for the inconvenience. Collectively, they lacked the common courtesy to do even that. Incredibly unprofessional.

I took my car in to have the A/C checked out, and they performed a multi-point inspection at no charge. Given the high mileage on my car (93k), it meant a lot to me to see all the mounts, fluids, bushings, brake pads, suspension, etc. inspected and actually achieve green ratings for every single category except electrical/lighting. The 2 bulbs that illuminate my license plate had burned out and were replaced free of charge. It is service like this that makes me feel as passionate as I do about the Subaru brand and all of the Subaru vehicles I have owned.

05/27/2014 Brought my 2008 Impreza 2.5i in for 75,000mi service. I am driving to Phoenix, AZ in September and I want the car in good shape. Some things I expected, brakes, fluids, wiper blades, tire rotation etc. The mechanic found the transmission oil cooler lines leaking, which I was not aware of and I greatly appreciate the find. One line was not in stock and I left with the caution to keep an eye on the trans oil level until the part came in on Friday.05/28/2014 Saw that the leak had gotten worse and took the car to service to await the part. Rented a new Crosstrek Hybrid to drive to work. It is a very nice high tech car, but the Neon Lime Green color? I don't know. Corey L. was more than helpful and has always been very professional.

What I like about the experiences that learn with the kia dealership, they heard what my problem was and I was having some trouble with my vehicle on my way to Phila. they heard my problem and they wanted to assist and see what they could do to help, at the Kia dealership. Tom spoke with him briefly one evening before closing and he stated for me to give him a chance to see could he help me. I was treaded with a smiling service manger. He got me in and out in a very reasonable time. I enjoyed the quite waiting area while I waited. I would suggest WI FI for the customers while they wait. Never had a better car buying experience. Your web site is kept up to date so I was easily able to check your inventory regularly and compare with others. Our sales person, Richard Saruga was emtermely patient in explaining carefully all of the electronic features of the SRX, which were all new to us, including the Onstar feature. Richard was never pushy nor did he insult our intelligence , as so many car salespersons have at other dealerships. Although his day was scheduled to end at 5:00, Richard stayed well after 6:30 , syncing my cell phone to the car and introducing me to Onstar. He also told us not to hesitate to call him if we had any questions on the future. As I told Richard, when we called Delaware Cadillac with a question about the car we saw on line, we lucked out when he picked up the phone. We also appreciated the fact that we could meet and discuss the car in Richard's office , rather than at a desk on the showroom floor. We also had a pleasant experience with the finance representative ( Lauren - I think is her name), who had our paper work ready, was very personable, and also not pushy, which means a great deal to us. The car is wonderful as was our experience . We will not hesitate to recommend Richard Saruga and Delaware Cadillac to our family and friends.

The service was excellent. Happened to be meet as I partked by the service respresentative who recognized me, asked for my keys and I was off to the waiting room. Was a bit shocked by the cost of the replacement part to repair the headlight. Almost $300 for a replacement bulb seems like one should get more than light.

Maintenance is excellent. We are very pleased with the maintenance on our 2011 DTS & 2012 SRX. For purchasing a Cadillac, we like Harrison Hoyle. The problem is, you want a higher price for your cars. We found our DTS in NJ with a lot less mileage & a much lower price. We bought our 2012 SRX in FL new at a much lower price. We would rather deal closer but have not been able to do so to purchase cars.

While my normal service rep was out, it was like they, the service group, didn't miss a beat. I was promptly received and we discussed what work was scheduled, and due to a covered extensive repair I would need a vehicle in excess of one day. I was provided with a vehicle. I appreciate the great service and the professional personnel in the entire dealership.

I simply want to let you know what great service received at your body Shop: I am fully aware in business most of the time, what is not right and what is wrong. Not the case here!!! Mr.... Ryan Bailey is great. Very pleasant and very approachable. Very attentive and I feel likes and takes pride in his Job !!!! Ryan shared with me he as work for the Family for #5 years!!! Today I had to stop by to get a few things out of my trunk and chose to ring the bell as I did not want to climb the steps. Barbara came down and she was very accommodating. Very personal and quickly went back upstairs to get Ryan. Ryan helped me to get most of everything out of the trunk so work could commence. I asked Ryan to explain what in fact the damage was? Ryan quickly went back upstairs to get the print out sheet and spent the time to explain everything to me. Again a great Guy !!!! As I was there a New Malibu came in and I asked if I could switch cars as I was given an Impala and was not liking it. Again NO PROBLEM !! Ryan even Matched my Blue tooth for the rental car. Simply thought everyone should here something positive!!! Positive Service do not just Happen. Positive service takes training with People who want to be there. Me and my husband went there to buy a cadillac and at beginging we agree on how much it was it was great deal but end of deal they change there price more what we talked about , the service was horrible if we would of known those numbers from the beginning we wouldnt waste our time there or waste my gas . I was traveling on business for a day from NJ, and my car's check engine light went on. I was terrified that the engine was going to cease, and the car was bucking, and so I called my hometown Subaru mechanic and he told me to go get gas and see if that helps. I did so, and still nothing. I saw Delaware Subaru and pulled in. The service attendant helped me and told me it would be about and hour to assess the problem and had someone drive me to work to check my car out. I called them around 12pm to see what was wrong with the car and they told me exactly what it was. They said sine they knew I had to get on the road, they would get the car done ASAP and it would be done around 3. I called around 3 and they said the car was ready and the attendant would come pick me up at work. I was so thankful for them and was so blessed they were there!!!! Thank you again! I will let everyone know how wonderful it was!!!

Very dissatisfied with my visit to the Delaware Cadillac Service Department. They failed to correct, fix, or even notify me, of the existing problems. I had to take my Cadillac, to another local garage to have my problems corrected. I will no longer return to this Dealer, for any of my Cadillac motoring needs. Oh yes, this was not warranty work, and I was a cash paying customer. I guess they could not be bothered with my problem, and hoped I would just go away. Well, I have, gone to another Cadillac Dealer.

Wanted to share that my wife and I had a great service experience with Delaware Cadillac. Sarah and Toni took care of everything exceptionally well. They were professional and courteous at all times. I scheduled my CTS maintenance by phone with Sarah. Toni took care of the service when my wife brought the car in. Everything was done quickly and on-time. When I had a particular concern, Sarah went above and beyond to resolve it. She made me feel like a valued Cadillac owner and customer. I wrote a review before, but since then I had an issue with my 2012 SRX, which was particularly difficult to diagnose and fix. Nevertheless, Steve Megaw persisted in trying various approaches, let me have a loaner for a whole week and eventually solved the problem and fixed my car. I really appreciate the persistence and this is another example of the service we get from Delware Cadillac and why we keep coming back. Peter T.

We have purchased five cars from Delaware Cadillac, a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse, a 2003 Saab 9-5 Aero, a 2006 CTS, a 2007 Saab 9-5 Aero, a 2011 CTS AWD and a 2012 SRX AWD. What more can I say? If we didn't like the cars, the service, the sales force, we wouldn't be coming back. I am sure we'll be back again.

I have been car shopping via internet for a while now and saw the car I wanted located ten minutes away from me. There were other cars available within a 60 mile radius, but figured I'd try the closest one to me and made the worst choice ever. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was approached by a man, who assisted us in checking the car I was interested in. He was friendly but short with us, inviting me inside before even offering to test drive the vehicle. I declined and he took my ID, went inside and came back out with the keys to finally allow me to test drive the car. I fell in love with the car right away, although during the entire test drive I smelled antifreeze. When I arrived back at the dealership, the guy met me outside and I told him the car drove perfect, except the smell of the antifreeze. He did not know what to say so he went inside and grabbed his manager. The manager came outside, looked around and said it must be the cleaner they used when cleaning the engine. I found this odd considering I could smell it through the heater and inside the car the entire time I drove it so I questioned him a little more. He eventually said he did not deal with used cars and only with new cars. So I was more confused why he was putting out here addressing this when he just admitted to not knowing much about used cars, let alone deal with it. The sales person took me inside to fill out paper work right away. He did not discuss numbers with me until I brought it up with him. We began talking about what we believe the car is worth and he immediately declined to work on a price and laughed the entire time. I could not believe, a place that calls themselves "professional", was actually acting like this. I began telling him why I thought the car was worth the price I offered by stating the price another dealership was offering, with a lot less miles and a year newer, and he replied "why don't you just go over there and buy that one then?" I was shocked. I left and as I was getting in my car, the manager went inside to ask why I was leaving and he walked out, looked at me and said "ridiculous". As I looked inside, I can see both salesmen shaking their head, pointing at me and talking. I have never seen something so unprofessional. I would never buy a car from there, let alone refer anybody there. I can not believe three grown men behave so childish just because they did not get the sale they desired.

Fantastic place to buy a car. My new Certified pre owned Cadillac is exactly how it was described and appeared in the photos. All of the items they addressed before I purchased, the new tires and brakes they installed, made them far more thorough than any of the other dealers I visited. The access to the carfax report was super easy too. When I called to see if the car was still available, Bob was great on the phone. He made me feel like a valued costomer. Whe I arrived at the dealership, I met the sales manager Andrew, and the sales person Carl was able to answer all of my questions. I knew their price was one of the best on the Internet, and they gave me a fair amount for my trade in, so the decision to buy it was easy. I was able to finance it within the monthly payment I had hoped for, and the finance manager John made all of the paperwork easy. Again, a great place to buy a car!

They lied about the availibility of a internet special price & attempted to sell me another vehicle. Took & cashed my deposit & never produced the other vehicle promised. I checked their vehicle stock two days later and the original vehicle listed on line is now listed for a higher price and available. I strongly suggest purchasing a vehicle elsewhere! Very poor management. They had a poor excuse every step in the process.

Delaware Cadillac is an Excellent place to do business! I am the Assistant General Manager. Regarding any nline reviewsthat you may have readthis is a relatively new area for us to ensure we are properly represented. I am the one who has responded to any of the egativereviews that you may have seen, and I am only aware of about three or four, namely on Google and Cars.com. There might be six dealership reviews in total on the entire internet for us, and unfortunately, people are more often likely to post a negative review than a positive one. The one thing about the majority of these reviews is that they were from people who did NOT do business with us. On a related note, each of the manufacturers who brands we carry have Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSI) that get sent to any client who ends up buying a New car from us, or having Warranty work done in our Service Departments. Our Cadillac CSI is one of the highest in the entire Philadelphia Market, our Kia CSI is above Average, and our Subaru CSI is also one of the top in our region as well. Unfortunately, these scores are not made public. I wish they were. As they would paint a more realistic picture of what it is like to do business with us. Additionally, regarding Used Cars, we pride ourselves on the type of service we give to our clients who purchase Pre-Owned Vehicles from us. In most cases, the Used cars we sell still have some type of warranty remaining on them. But sometimes little issues pop up regarding state inspections, noises, etc. We will ALWAYS go above and beyond to ensure that our clients are happy. Our Reputation is VERY important to us, and we ALWAYS try to do the right thing.

I offered asking price for a used 08 cts including taxes and tags, the salesman persisted to ask me how I came up with the number I offered. When I pointed out that the price was what they were asking for the vehicle, he persisted to try an sell it to me from the price it was prior. I told him that Im not paying for what it use to cost and then he tried to come up with every excuse he could of why they can't sell it including taxes and tags and then told me they could sell me another car with that deal but not the one I wanted. When I refused the deal of the other car the sales rep pawned me off to another person who also refused to sell it for the asking price. Never will I try to buy a car from here again.

I was in the market for a new Kia Sedona minivan. I shopped through Consumer Reports for the best price, which identified "Kia of Wilmington". I worked with Kevin McDowell who allowed me to test drive the vehicle and demonstrated all of its features. He was very courteous and not the least bit pushy. I got a great deal on the vehicle and paid a reasonable price for it. I feel that I got good value for my money and would recommend them again. I'm going out of my way to write a review on DE Cadillac because of the pleasant experience my wife and I had with a specific sales associate. We are very savvy, well informed, buyers who purchase a new vehicle every 10-12 months. After visiting 2 other local dealerships, we landed at Delaware Cadillac to look at a used sedan on their lot.
