As soon as I walked into the door I was met with friendly faces. I received that feeling that you get when you walk into a small family owned business in which customer service is paramount to the success of their continuation.I cannot say enough good things about the experience I had with Baron. He appears to be a genuine man with a desire for customer service. We were the last customer of the night and the dealership was locked up and closed. Baron approached us and advised that he forgot to grab a gas card for us (the car we bought was low on fuel) and that he would personally drive to the nearest gas station and put fuel in our newly purchased car. Baron purchased gas for our car and then proceeded to show us how to sync our cell phones to the vehicle's system. On a Saturday night he could have easily left work to go spend time with his friends and family but instead made sure that we were properly taken care of before he went about his evening. Great service Baron!

After exhausting all local resources on finding the car we really wanted, I expanded my search beyond our boundaries. AM I GLAD I DID!! I came across Sneed Ford and was dumbfounded by their massive inventory of late model, pre owned cars. To go farther, they even had just the car the wife and I had been looking for! The miles were low and the price was right. So the wife and I took a half day off work to begin the two and a half hour journey to Sneed's. WE ARE GLAD WE DIDN'T SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS BECAUSE IT WAS CLOSER! Rich Carnahan (our sales rep) is an outstanding ambassador to the company. He helped us in making our purchase easy and comfortable. Ruth in finance was AMAZING! She is SO genuine! She made financing so painless for us because she makes you feel at ease in making a decision that big. I was truly impressed by their honesty and down-to-earth work ethic. I would recommend these guys to anyone who is looking for a quality pre owned car. NO MATTER HOW FAR YOU HAVE TO DRIVE!

I had been looking for a newer vehicle for several weeks when i found the perfect one on Dennis Sneed's website. Once i decided to go for it i arrived at Dennis Sneed and was immediately met at the door with a very friendly smile and good morning. Baron Washington was extremely professional and arranged a viewing and test drive of the vehicle with ease and made the process a lot of fun. After knowing i really wanted this vehicle, Baron sat down and was very thorough in the paperwork and making 100% sure i was comfortable with my soon to be large purchase. Once we started to crunch numbers, Ruth Espeland stepped in and to say the least was a miracle worker and patiently worked with me until i received the rate and payments that i had to have to be able to drive away a happy new owner. Baron and Ruth really showed me that customer service was a big focus and i really cannot say enough about how they helped me get into the vehicle i have wanted for some time. Cars.com made identifying good cars so easy. We ultimately chose cars at Sneed Ford because they had the most competitive pricing and an impressive selection. Prior to making the hour drive to Gower, we had an online chat with Rich Sousa to confirm the availability of the cars. Upon arrival to the dealership, Rich met us with keys in hand to all of the vehicles we were interested in. He was patient in answering our questions and gave us plenty of time to look at the cars and test drive. Rich was great to work with and never pushy. During the buying process the dealership did not try to upsale us on all of the extras. The process was so easy we were driving away in our new car 2.5 hours after arrival.

We were pleasantly surprised with the non pushy salesman (Rich S), he was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We were looking to purchase 2 cars, one for my 80 year old mother and myself. We left Friday afternoon feeling pretty good about the deals at Sneed's Ford but still wanted to check out other Ford Dealers. Sneed's was the first Ford dealer we had looked at. After going to 3 other dealers, got up early Saturday morning and went back for the best deals in town with great people to help you. We never felt pressured by Rich S. and made the 2 deals pretty smoothly. No pressure from finance dept. (Ruth) about extra packages to buy. I drove about eight hours to look at and buy my new-to-me Ford Explorer. From the time I pulled into the dealership, everyone there was friendly, helpful, upbeat, and generous. Baron was a delight--we test drove the vehicle, he explained all the features, and he synched my phone to the car. They transferred plates and other elements from my trade-in to my new vehicle. Ruth made the financials as smooth as silk and gave me some bonus insurance coverage. Weatherwise, it was a beautiful day, and Baron and Ruth made the sun shine brighter for me. They were up front about the vehicle and the costs, and I felt that honesty was as important to them as it is to me. Long story short I wasn't very happy with my first car I bought from Sneed. But Ruth did everything she could to keep me happy, and she succeeded! My intention was to have my 12' Fusion bought back and to look at a used 15' Focus, 13' Fusion and an 13' Escape to see which I liked more. David was very helpful in providing his input for which would be the better buy. I settled on the Focus and was really happy with my choice. After getting paperwork started on the used Focus, Ruth asked me if I had considered a New car... it never even crossed my mind! David took me around to see the New Focus' and of course I liked the most expensive one (Titanium MSRP $28,300). I wasn't really concerned about the payments, but when Ruth told me she got me 0% interest I was happy. Nothing beats the smell of new car! I am happy that Ruth helped me from the very beginning with the Fusion, to the end with my NEW FOCUS! Thank you Ruth for all the support you provided, as well as David for your input and suggestions *and for pulling out the fully loaded Focus that I fell in love with*

Great prices and Baron was very friendly. Great prices also mean they will give you less for your trade in. Got $3000 more for my trade in at another dealership. Told them would give them the business but needed to come up on trade and they chose to not get the business. While I was there they pointed out all the cars that were going to the auction they haven't sold. So they chose to send cars to the auction over working with me and getting a repeat customer. Who I think was the owners kid, appraised the car but didn't even take the time to introduce himself or thank us for driving over an hour to try and do business with them.

Bought my car from Dennis Sneed it's a 2013 Ford Fiesta and I had a problem with it every since I got it with the clutch so Christy made me appointment for today to bring it in to have the clutch fixed I made the 60-mile trip just to be turned away saying that it was overbooked was treated so rudely by Dennis Sneed himself and now they just don't want to do the work told me to take my car somewhere else! I should have been notified not to come instead of driving all this way for nothing !Bad ,bad the worst service I've ever received from anyone very disrespectful! He was Very Mean guy to me!

I test drove a used car with 4 newer tires on it that day. I made the deal to purchase it and pick it up the following day. When I picked it up, and got it home, they had removed 1 of the newer tires, and replaced it with an older one. I assume this was to cover their cost on the "deal" I negotiated. I will never buy a car from them again. If you do, drive it off the lot that day, or double check them...that's just plain theft.

overall the buying of the used 2014 ford explorer was an easy process with rich. He got us more trade in value then we thought we would get on our kia soul. Then the problem with any car you first buy, you notice things as soon as you get them home. Dennis sneed Ford has been good at trying to fix the problems we have seen. also we we were suppose to have 2 fobs for the car and when we bought we couldn't find the second. rich has done everything to get us our second fob. good buying experience.

I went to Sneed Ford to look at a blue Ford Escape and found a white one matching all my requirements. I wasn't able to purchase right away because I was waiting to hear back on whether or not my old car would be totaled through the insurance. Sneed Ford held my new car for me for over a week while I worked through the insurance process ensuring I was able to purchase my dream car! Purchase went smoothly as well. All the paperwork was ready when I came to get the car and we were in and out in no time! When I got home I realized the car was missing the rear cargo cover and when I called to ask about it Baron offered to mail me one and I received it 3 days later as promised! I was at the dealership on a Saturday looking at a F250 Super Duty. The salesman I had talked to on the phone was busy so the owner took us out and answered any and all questions we had. He was very knowledgeable and very friendly. When our salesman was available, he worked quickly to get everything done so we could get on our way to Iowa. I purchased a car from out of state. The purchase included a full factory warranty. However, Sneed Ford is not acknowledging the Ford warranty in regards to a paint repair needed, the clear coat was peeling within a month of owning the car. I had made many attempts to contact them; after ignoring my many calls and emails for six months they finally called me back only to make a poor attempt to repair the paint though a different company other than Ford. When I questioned my warranty through Ford, she said let me look in your file and call you backthey never called me back, no surprise! A few things should also be known. I feel they were dishonest on a couple of levels: I found the car online, I had done my research to make sure it was accident free. Prior to flying up to MO to purchase the car, I spoke to the sales representative Rich Carnahan. I specifically asked him hows the body and the paint? He replied good, no problems. It was only once I arrived in MO that he then disclosed the front right fender was touched up to cover some scratches. He went on to say that I should feel at ease with my purchase because if there are any issues I will still have the factory warranty (which is also in my paperwork from the sale). It turns out that wasnt the area repaired at all, he had me inspecting closely the wrong areathe poor repair job was on the back left quarter panel. There are also swirl scratches over the entire car which could not be seen in rainy & icy weather conditions. There were even bigger mechanical issues that wasnt noticed until I was a couple of states away and was able to obtain greater speedssee, the car was purchased on a dark stormy & icy morning, so, you could not see the paint well nor know how the car truly handled. As for the mechanical, it had been fixed locally. However, at the time of test driving, Rich specifically asked that I dont go over 35 mph because the area is heavily patrolled. I would have challenged that if the roads werent icy. He also stated the car needs gas which took us on a slow path to the gas station. So, I was unaware the entire car shakes at higher speeds! I feel many things were covered up. Once the car was purchased, they would not work with me, not even the owner Dennis Sneedhe never returned my calls, not once!!(These are my opinions based on my experience)

I was looking for a newer vehicle to replace my 2005 Ford Focus. I was grateful for Barron's patience because I wasn't sure what vehicle I truly wanted and he let drive a couple different models to help me decide. He was very helpful with his opinion as to what was the better vehicle, with warranty's and such. I was very happy with his customer service and relaxed atmostphere in my car buying experience. The only con from my experience is I wished I had gotten more for my trade in. I feel like I kind of got ripped off based on having an older vehicle, with high mileage. But other than that, my experience was a highly liked one. Both my boyfriend and I have bought vehicles from Dennis Sneed and we will definitely be coming back for more in the future.

When my car was totaled by hail I had a very hard decision to make. After a lot of conversation with my insurance company I decided to buy a different vehicle instead of fixing the one I had. A lot of research went into this purchase and I started a search for a Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen. Dennis Sneed had a gorgeous red one (one of the few for sale in the area) so over a long lunch I drove up to look at it. Baron was our salesman. He was outstanding and we really had such a great experience working with him. The lady in financing went above and beyond to get the interest rate we wanted from Ford Motor Credit. We drove the car, worked out a deal, got financing done and were out the door and back to work in 2 hours. It was AWESOME!!! Thanks so much for everything. I LOVE my "new to me" Volkswagen. It was well worth the 45 minute drive north.

This is our second purchase at Dennis Sneed Ford. We decided on a specific vehicle based on website info, and were not disappointed when we saw/drove the car. We purposely took our time making our decision. First we drove the vehicle, then waited a week before driving it again. On the second visit, we took our time, spending 4-5 hours on the entire process. Rich Munden was very helpful and never tried to push the sale. I think Ruth may have been a bit disappointed when we arranged our own financing and chose not to participate in the additional coverages offered to us, but we did what was best for us. Dennis was very sociable and visited for a while. Carey spent time with us researching an issue I could not resolve. The staff kept our young son entertained (and vice versa), without any real disruption to anyone's work schedule. We were provided a discount on a related operation that was much appreciated. Because the purchase price was so much lower than our lender expected, we were provided a lower interest rate than expected, since we didn't need the maximum amount available. All in all, a long, tiring day that culminated in a good experience and value.

My wife and I decided to stop out at Sneed Ford to look at their vast selection of Ford Fusions. What initially drew me out to this dealership was their competitive listing prices. Most dealers' sticker prices are thousands of dollars above true market value, but at Sneed, almost all were at market value or just a couple hundred dollars off. We didn't schedule an appointment, but Baron was more than willing to help us anyway. They were very busy, but you wouldn't have known that from the way we were treated by everyone. Baron was very helpful in showing us a selection of cars based on the criteria we had given him. He was not pushy at all and answered any questions we had with great detail. We decided on a car and the financing aspect was very quick and efficient with Ruth. We showed up around 11 a.m. and were out the door with our used car purchase by 1:30 that afternoon. Thank you to everyone at Sneed Ford for being so accommodating. I would definitely return here for another vehicle purchase!

They had a good selection of vehicles that we were interested in. The only complaint that we have is that they are not good for a trade in. If you are looking to get top value for yours, then this might not be it. Our salesman was very good. We had no complaints with Baron, it was the sales manager that was in charge of the valuation of the trades that we felt a little taken advantage of. They had the vehicle that we wanted, with the miles we wanted, and in the price range we wanted. Overall good experience.

I bought a used car in September, which was a GREAT experience with Baron. Unfortunately, that was the only good part. I took it in for service and was promised a certain price by Roger. I was overcharged and they would not honor the commitment they made. I have tried every avenue to get this dealt with, and no one at the dealership is willing to back up their promise. I listened to Dennis Sneed talk to everyone else about a difficult customer, and then when I called him out on it, he totally changed his tune. Typical car dealer that will say whatever he thinks a customer wants to hear. A great car buying experience turned into one of the worst I've ever had. I wish Baron would go to another dealer, because I'd buy from him all day long. But I'll never give another penny to Dennis Sneed. What a creep!

I did a lot of internet research and found Dennis Sneed Ford had the largest inventory of gently used Explorers in town. They also had other types of vehicles I wanted to take a look at before making my final decision. Baron Washington was very patient with me and had a very low pressure attitude, which made this experience very good. Roger Roper, the finance person, was also very pleasant to work with. Going on 2 weeks of headaches. I drove off the lot in a clean looking MKZ with 3 open safety recalls. It later became apparent that the car hadn't been serviced in any way except washed. Sync system was not updated. Wipers were dry rotted. No oil change. Missing AC louvers which weren't discovered until after the sale. Argued with the dealer about whether the car had undocumented front end damage before the sale, later found overspray indicating that it did.I noticed during the test drive that the air conditioner smelled bad. I commented on this. When I had time this last weekend, I personally checked the cabin air filter located behind the glove box, and it was covered in mouse droppings. To clarify this means when the AC was on, the occupants were breathing mouse poop. There is not enough Lysol in the world to get that smell out of my head (I tried). To top it off, my immune compromised mother who is fighting bone cancer rode in this car with the AC on, and if she gets sick from the mold it's a health emergency. All this from a 16000 mile car. Not sure what to do except move on.

Using the internet to prospect for the right car is the only way to shop for a car. I looked from St. Louis to Leavenworth for the 2015 Ford Fusion with the features I wanted. I ended up time after time at the Sneed Ford website. While they were the only dealer in KC with a low miles, 2015 Fusion SE with the Terracotta interior I wanted, the 100+ miles round trip from Lees's Summit was quite inconvenient. In fact, if not for the great experience I had when I went to check out that Fusion, I would not have gone back.If you VALUE, as I do - good pricing with some room to dicker, a great selection of low mileage cars, a small sales force that defies the typical used car sales person stereotype, a family style business with the owner right there in the showroom, THEN THE TRIP to middle of nowhere IS WORTH IT! The day I closed on the car, Baron Washington picked me up in Lee's Summit in a Lincoln (almost made me change my mind on the model I wanted). Roger Roper in finance found me a great rate and then some. The tank of free gas was much appreciated. Could have been detailed a little better, BUT no one details a car the way most guys do when they get their new baby home. Best recollections - Talking families with Roger and hanging out in the showroom, with my rally cap on, watching the Royals come back from 4 down to beat the Astro's. Made closing on the car right afterwards that much better.

I did all the leg work cause I went thur my bank and was already approved before I got there. In all my car buying experience I would have said I had one purchase that I would have considered "easy". That is until I talked to Robert at Dennis Sneed. Robert's car knowledge as well as his easy going, no nonsense, no hassle attitude blew my definition of "easy" away. The whole team at Dennis Sneed made this by far the quickest, most worry free transaction I have ever experienced. Extremely accommodating. I had a rental car that had to be taken back to the airport and Robert didn't bat an eye at having to make the hour plus round trip. I came to look at one specific car (and bought it) but I was impressed with the amount of inventory that they carry. How they fit that many cars on one lot I'll never know. If you're in the market for a particular car or truck they probably have 3 or more of what you're looking for priced below what you thought possible. Even though I'm 500 miles away from KC the next time I'm in the market for a vehicle Robert and Dennis Sneed will be my first call.

I worked with Roger Roper and Richard Carnahan.. I was looking online for sometime and found this dealership/car on car-gurus. Roger took pictures of a car that he thought I wanted and sent them to me. He took the time to answer all my questions and ask what I was looking for and what I needed. (This really helped sell me the car.) We made the 4 hour drive to Mo. and they had the car ready for us when we got there and paperwork ready to sign. We went to Dennis Sneed because of the prices that we found online. They have a ton of cars on the lot. The vehicle I wanted to test drive was blocked in by another. They had to jump start the vehicle that was blocking mine as it wouldn't start. My husband and I took an Escape for a test drive. There were a few things that we noticed and asked our salesman, James Patrick, to fix. The breaks were very shaky, one of the seat belts in the back was missing a cover, and the front driver's side door had a major dent. They agreed to fix all of these issues so we went ahead and purchased the vehicle. The price was a good price, which is the reason for me giving the dealership 2 stars. It was too late in the evening to get the breaks looked at so we agreed to come back the next day with a check and take the vehicle home then. Upon return we were informed that the breaks were fixed, the seat belt part had to be ordered, and the vehicle would need to be taken to Annheim Form in Kansas City for the door to be fixed. Okay fine. I drove the vehicle off the lot with a gas tank that was almost empty and the next day scheduled an appointment with Annheim to fix the door. They had my vehicle for 8 days before I got it back. I realize this isn't Dennis Sneed's fault, but I would think they'd get a giant dent fixed before putting the vehicle on the lot. Once I got the vehicle back from Annheim, I schedule an appointment with Dennis Sneed to get the seat belt cover put on. It's a 40 minute drive from my house to the dealership. I sat for an hour at the dealership before being told that the wrong part had been ordered and I would need to come back but could just come at my convenience. Shortly after this the breaks on my vehicle started progressively shaking worse and worse. It was obvious that they did NOT fix the breaks as they had said. I called and talked to the service department about scheduling a time to fix the breaks and replace the seat belt and they told me I would have to leave my car for a day. I requested a new plan or another vehicle to drive and they promised to call me back with something. I waited a few days and never got a call. I called and asked to talk to James this time since he had been helpful previously. He was able to come up with a solution and drove his personal vehicle to my place of work, got my car, and took it back to the dealership to have the breaks and the seat belt fixed. Upon return I was told that the seat belt was fixed but that the rotors needed to be ordered. Once again, I waited for a phone call and got nothing. I called and asked and they told me they had been really busy and couldn't get my car in for a week or so. After multiple messages and a rising frustration level, an appointment was finally scheduled to fix the breaks, that were supposed to be fixed before I even purchased the car. I asked James if my car could be detailed as it had now made it THREE trips to the dealership to fix issues that should have been fixed before the car was in my possession. I got it back today. The breaks feel great but it's obvious they quickly ran a vacuum over the carpet and called it good. They pretty much half ass everything and hope they can get away with it. James was as helpful as he could be but obviously had his hands tied in many situations. I think the owner is the sleaziest of them all and that's who they all answer to. The price was great but not worth the frustration. Next time I will pay a little more if I have to and avoid Dennis Sneed at all costs.

Went on vacation. While in Florida I received a call from the owner wanting to negotiate price. Richard and I made several phone calls back and forth. Came to an agreement on price. The day after I got back from vacation. I went down and picked up my car. A 2013 Ford Escape, fully loaded. I'M A VERY HAPPY LADY!! I will tell everyone about my experience. Purchased used 2012 Ford Fusion SEL with 31,xxx miles on October 2014.Vehicle was in local Ford dealer shop next morning. Was out of pocket $800 immediately for unsafe tires and bad front rotars. Dealer would only reimburse me $400 and that was after posting negative feedback on their website.Vehicle has been in the shop on:Oct 3 2014- Low on oil, headlights didn't project more than 2 feet in front of car, 4 bad tires with multiple nails and unacceptable tread life leaf.Oct 8 2014- Car wouldn't start battery diedOct 17 2014- Windshield leaks and had to be resealedNov 10 2014- Radio screen was peeling from inside, Rattle from dashboard due to broken cabin air filter cover which was broken when they replaced the filter.Jan 7 2015- Automatic windshield wipers didn't work only had one working setting, Rear differential oil leak due to faulty vent valve and was replaced, license plate light kept burning out due to water damage from bad seal.6 May 2015- Fluid leak from front PTU (transmission). Replaced front PTU unit.19 Aug 2015- Replaced front right inner c/v joint, replaced shaft bearing, replaced drive shaft, replaced rear AWD rdu system. Vehicle was in the shop for 20 days straight!Manager Kerry will only offer for me to trade the car in at it's current value. That leaves me out even more money and I'm stuck with an unsafe and not reliable vehicle. Great way to show appreciation to their customers and military members. I will not give up until I'm appropriately compensated.

This dealer may be a bit off the beaten track, but they had a large inventory of used Lincolns. We made the trip to give them a try and they were very obliging and courteous. You have to test drive the car with the salesman in the car which I think is a draw back, but you do get to drive the car and he sat in the backseat so we could see the vantage of being in the driver and passenger seats. They have a high volume of sales and are able to give better deals because of it. Give these guys a try!

I had to drive 3 hours to get to this dealer. The salesman was very honest with me from the first contact we made to the last. He personally went out of his way to test the used vehicle I inquired about. He checked to make sure there were no "deal breakers." Unfortunately, when I got to the dealership Roger was busy selling more cars, so I did have another team member help me, but he was just as good! (I cannot remember his name.) He stated that they would need to run the truck through the shop and i gladly accepted the fact that they did need a deposit to do so. I wish I could say that I enjoyed buying a vehicle from them, however, this process has been extensive. My husband and I went on a Saturday to test drive our Escape which we quickly decided was our next family vehicle. We talked numbers with James Patrick who is not very knowledgeable or professional when it comes to selling cars. All of us decided that we would return on a Tuesday and all was set and ready to go, or so we thought. Tuesday comes around and the finance manager isn't in. We got financing through our bank and had all the required documentation needed from the bank but because the finance manager wasn't in the office, we needed a check for the amount of the car from our bank for the amount of the vehicle (which our bank said they'd never and wouldn't do but for the dealership to FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE DEALER LETTER). This is currently a week later, and my husband has to go back up there to fill out another credit application because the finance manager wasn't in last Tuesday so now that he is, another application is needed. We still have not received a check for sales tax which we had rolled into our loan and since we had financing through our bank, the dealership said the bank would send us a check (come to find out...they won't do that, the dealership is supposed to do that to. Maybe it is simply the salesperson who doesn't know how to do his job, but this has been the worst car buying experience I have ever experienced and wouldn't recommend this place to my dog.

Dennis Sneed Ford showed my wife and me the best car buying experience we've had in a long time. I called the dealer to look at a used Chrysler Sebring convertible they advertised on the Internet. They still had it in stock, but informed me that they had another one that was in showroom condition. They did not pressure me in any way, but they just stated the facts. When I got to the dealer, Richard let my inspect both cars thoroughly. Although the two convertibles were over 10 years old, they were both in excellent condition. As I was discussing it, Mr. Sneed drove up to us and introduced himself. He told me the story behind the immaculate convertible and recommended that I buy it. Although I had my own financing, he offered to talk to his Ford finance team personally in order to make sure we could make the purchase. I bought the car in less than an hour. The bulk of the time we spent in the transaction was my inspection of it, speaking to my bank on the phone, and talking things over with my wife. Mr. Sneed has a great personality and his sales and service team are superb! He had an employee with a minor injury that day, and I could tell he cared about his team because he was inquiring regularly about how he was doing until he showed up right before he left. We came to the dealer near the close of business. We've all heard the stories of sales people "ready to go" and losing their edge at the end of the day. Well, we did not experience that at all. In fact, several of the employees worked with us so that we would feel comfortable even though they were getting ready to close. One employee gave us new mugs with the Ford logo. Another, helped us with our bank transaction. Great experience, and I got a 12 year old car that everyone thinks is brand new!!!I highly recommend this dealer with or without your family.THANK YOU ALL FOR A GREAT EXPERIENCE!

What a pleasant experience. My wife was looking for a newer model Ford Escape. We actually went to Dennis Sneed Ford first to look at a vehicle she was interested in. We thought there would be no way that the first dealer we went to would have the best deal! We went to other Ford dealers in Olathe, Topeka, and Lawrence. All had comparable vehicles but none provided the low pressure and friendly atmosphere that we first encountered at Dennis Sneed Ford. We ended up going back to Sneed and worked with Salesman Baron Washington Jr. We enjoyed a informative conversation with owner Dennis Sneed himself while Baron made sure my wife picked exactly the vehicle she wanted. We recently bought a vehicle from Dennis Sneed ONLY because they had the best price within a 100 miles. Our drive time from KC was over an hour each way and from our initial phone call where we heard "Saturday is our busiest day, blah blah blah" to driving off the lot with the vehicle on empty, it was a ridiculous experience. First, they are literally in the middle of nowhere, sitting up on a hill with so many vehicles precariously arranged we had difficulty even getting in and out of the lot. They had to move cars to get to the ones we test drove and a 2014 vehicle didn't start (we were told it was cold). Whatever. All of the roads out there are either two lane uneven highways or country roads - neither conducive to an accurate test drive. I asked the salesman why their price was the lowest and he said they buy vehicles at auction. Claimed ours was an executive lease. The owner came to the desk and when asked the same question, went on a 10 minute diatribe stated the vehicle was a rental and how they only purchase from specific rental companies naming them. He then went and got the paperwork and lo and behold this vehicle was purchased from one of the rental companies he had just bad mouthed. Other reviewers seem to have enjoyed the personal contact with the owner. Our experience was it wasted our time and he only blew smoke up our *!*. We arrived at 10:30 and finally left at 1:45 with a dirty car with an empty tank. The finance guy doesn't work on Saturday (we came pre-approved), the shop isn't open and the person who preps and cleans the vehicles is also off on Saturday. Some customer service for their busiest day. We drove off the lot and the gas light was on showing we had less than 2 miles before running out of gas. The nearest station was over 3 miles away! We had to pull turn around and go back and ask for gas which they put a little in from a gas can. Wow.The final insult was the certificate in our packet offering a gift card for giving an "awesome review" at several websites. I'm guessing I won't get my gift card.It was pretty apparent they didn't check out the vehicle prior to selling it as the wiper fluid hoses were disconnected. It appears they operate much as a puppy mill would churning out as many vehicles as possible. Why did we buy the car? Only because it had 2 years and $20,000 miles remaining on the warranty and it was the best deal we could find. Buyer beware. The two stars is only due to price and remaining warranty.

I found Sneed Ford from Autotrader.com looking for a Focus, since Fusions were just a bit out of my price range. Baron greeted us all and was very helpful in getting us to the cars we were looking at. After looking at a few cars, I was kind of let down by what the Focus is. Baron was able to find me a Fusion that wouldn't break my wallet. Now I am the proud owner of a 2011 Fusion SE! Oh, and Dennis is a talker. In looking for a new car on cars.com I found a few I liked at this dealership, I emailed inquiring about them multiple times with no response, I was happy to see the dealer was online and I could chat with them. I asked about any price negotiation over the phone/email because I would be driving 10+ hours to get there and did not want it to be a waste of time, the only response from "Roger" I received in the chat was "we price our cars very aggressively" this was not only extremely unhelpful but almost made to feel as though it was an inconvenience for him to answer other questions I was asking. Needless to say we will not be driving the 10+ hours for a vehicle, even though I am positive we would have purchased one for their asking price, their internet customer service is lacking.

I never actually purchased a car from this dealership, so I cannot speak to the quality of customer service after a sale. I did however inquire about purchasing a vehicle online. When I sent a message asking about a 2014 Ford Escape, I was informed that the vehicle I was asking about was being sent to the auction the next day. In order to purchase the vehicle I would have to send in a deposit by the next morning at 11 pm. I informed Mr. Rogero that I may be willing to do that, but I would be coming in from out of town to purchase the vehicle. He then changed his story, saying that I would have to pay for the vehicle in full by the following morning at 11 am in order to purchase it. I decided that this was not a wise way to purchase a vehicle, especially one that had reported title problems, and ended contact with the dealership. A few days later, and still to this day, the vehicle is still listed on their website as available for purchase. The vehicle online has the same vin number and everything; I just thought that this was a shady experience as a whole. Trying to force someone to pay full price for a vehicle sight unseen because it is "being sent to auction in the morning" when the vehicle is still listed online weeks later is suspicious at best and lying to customers at worst.

I recently found a Ford Edge online that had everything I wanted in my vehicle, it was located at Dennis Sneed Ford. I called them and let them know I was coming to look at it and test drive it the following day. When I arrived 5 hours earlier than they expected me they just smiled. Baron Washington JR was the sales associate that helped me. I told him the vehicle stock number and he pulled it up front for me. I let him know I have no questions about the vehicle or features and he respected that. I will continue to give the Sneed dealership my business. I drove 1.5 hours to get there and do not regret it at all.

Great buying expierence. We just bought our 2nd Lincoln from them. We had been looking to upgrade from our MKZ to an MKS. We saw the MKS posted, and purchased sight unseen. We drove 2.5 to the dealership. We were a little disappointed when we arrived as the interior was really dirty (black stains on the seats) while I was making a call to my bank, Roger took the car back and cleaned the seats. Both times that we have bought our vehicles from them the owner is out and talks with my husband. This last time we were there the owner took my husband on a tour of the lot and servicing bays. I drove over an hour to buy the car I wanted and they have, or I guess I should say had and frankly I would have driven 4 hours to get the deal I got. I talked with Mr. Sneed on the phone and got the price. I didn't hear any of the, "I think I caN sell the car at this price", or the "we're going to be real close to this figure", or any of the other things I've heard when I tried to get a price. When I got there and asked to see the car he gave me the keys and told me to enjoy myself. Frankly, after driving the newly designed Ford Taurus Limited, I believe they redesigned it in 2000 people can have their Toyotas and Hondas. The Taurus is incredible and if people who have been brainwashed into buying a Honda or Toyota would give the Taurus a test drive they'd probably wonder why they're spending more on a foreign car. We got back from the demo drive and went in to finalize the deal. The only difference in the price was the figure he had told me was actually 400.00 to high. I truly believe if the figure hen had given me was 400.00 to low he would have sold me the car anyway. From when my wife and I got back from the test drive and when we left was close to 1/2 hour, not the usual 3 hours of watching a salesman go back and forth.to the manager. So, not only do I feel, no, I know, the Ford Taurus, whether the SE, SEL, or Limited is the finest automobile I've ever owner, Dennis Sneed Ford is definitely the greatest dealer I have ever purchased a car from and they can look forward to seeing me the same time next year when I come back for a 2015. Thanks Dennis for a great car buying experience.

What I like was the ability to check out their vehicles through Auto Check, they hide nothing. Really had a good experience. Made the 1.5 hour trip to Dennis Sneed Ford after seeing a car my wife and I really liked at a great price and some not so good experiences at other KC auto dealers. We had shopped at several dealers and where at the point of giving up and just getting a little more time out of our current car when we decided to try Sneed ford based on what we saw online. When we arrived it was such a refreshing change, our salesman James "JP" Patrick was NOTHING like the other salesman we had worked with. I felt like he was truly working in my best interest and he was nothing but honest with me. The entire sales staff was very friendly and down to earth - a big plus to me as I really hate dealing with the gold chain wearing slicked back approach of nearly every other dealer. It is definitely worth the drive to check these guys out - at least give them a shot, I don't think you will be disappointed!

Just bought a 2012 Lincoln MKZ from Carey Sneed (owner's son). He gave me a great deal! I have had the car over a month now and I couldn't be happier. I knew I wanted an MKZ when I started my search on cars.com and I found Sneed had the best selection so I narrowed it down to 3 and headed up to their dealership. Very helpful staff walked me through the 3 I was interested in and I took my top pick on a test drive right after that. They weren't pushy at all and I told them I would think it over and talk to my bank and come back the following weekend. Carey helped me look at options for warranties and then we emailed mid-week to tell him witch car/warranty I decided on. I felt like I was getting a great price and that was confirmed when 2 different banks I applied at emphasized how it really was a great price. I came back the next weekend to pick it up and he had the paper work ready with a new battery installed and an spare key made without me even requesting. The paperwork didn't take long at all. My wife and I along with our 4 week old baby made the hour drive to check them out on a day I had off. Needless to say, it was February and snowing that day. Robert assisted us and was very helpful and knowlegable. He de-iced a few vehicles I was interested in to take for a test drive. No pressure sales staff for sure. I met Bob, the Service Manager, who performed a 170 point inspection on my car. Credit application and financing was simple and painfree. We paid the full asking price and asked for two things (front license plate holder and the entry code). Finally after many attempts to speak to the sales manager an employee, (Donna) that seemed irritated with our repeated calls told us to go to any dealership and they could retrieve the entry code for us. So we did and paid for the entry code and plate holder. Mr. Kerry Sneed made many calls to us trying to sell us, but wouldn't speak to us after the sale. The results of my trip from Iowa to Gower, MO was so rewarding. My 2009 Black Tuxedo was totaled early in December. Therefore, I wanted a newer Fusion to replace the '09 with everything exactly the same. I did a great deal of research on the internet to find what I wanted. Found a used Ford Edge on their website. Checked local dealers and found Sneed's prices lower. We drove 45 minutes to the dealership. We ended up buying a different Edge. Baron was very friendly as we test drove 2 different vehicles. While waiting for financing, we talked with the general manager of the dealership. The staff at Dennis Sneed is very helpful and friendly. Everyone made the buying process easy and fun. Will be buying all my vehicles from their dealership from now on. This is actually an update to "so-so" review, written a few days ago. I forgot to include this fact. Since I was the person that initially came to the dealership and test drove the car, my name was on paperwork. My husband test drove the vehicle a few days later. We decided to purchase the vehicle. When I noted on the title and all paperwork that is was my name ONLY, I requested that his name ALSO be placed on the title paperwork. The dealership said that they weren't going to add his name and that it would be added when I went to the license bureau. When I "finally" received the title paperwork almost three weeks later (after having to call to find out where it was) and went to the DMV, they said that they COULD NOT and SHOULD NOT add his name. However, they would make an exception since it was my request and the vehicle was a cash purchase. So, buyer beware. Make sure you get the proper paperwork completed accurately and that you follow up to make sure you even get it in time.

I was a first-time car buyer and new to the process of purchasing a vehicle. I was annoyed with other dealerships I had previously visited based on the feeling of being pressured and harassed to make a quick decision. After spending time searching dealerships online, I found Dennis Sneed Ford. I noticed they had a great inventory of vehicles and more than fair prices. I made a trip out to their location to view some of the cars first-hand and was not bothered as I walked throughout their lot . When I was ready, I spoke to a salesman and we sat and talked about what I was looking for. Rich was easy-going and provided clear and concise info concerning all my questions. After narrowing down a few vehicles, we looked at each one and went over all their different features and amenities. I test drove one to get a feel as well. It was a relief to speak with someone who put the consumer before the commission. The process was easy, paperwork was a breeze and I'm very happy with my first purchase. I highly recommend Dennis Sneed Ford!

Been looking online and at delerships several months for a used Escape or Rav 4. Found Dennis Sneed Ford has a large selection of well priced Escapes. Walk into the dealership and was met by a very freindly salesman Richard Carnahan. I had a list of 7 Escapes I wanted to look at, Rich grab the key to 8 Escapes decided to test drive 2 of them and ended up buying one. Dennis Sneed even came over and gave additional information on the Escape. Richard also has a very interesting history on (waves) just ask him.

We found the car on Cars.com and submitted a request from the dealer. They contacted is within 24 hour and we had the deal done with an hour. Filled out all the paperwork online so when we went in we were only there for 45 minutes!!! Painless quick and easy! Tyler was great even bringing us new valet keys to our house on his way home! When my husband and I arrived at this dealership we were quickly greeted by Rich Carnahan. Rich had us in the Edge we found on line and wanted to test drive in less than 10 minutes. He was very knowledgeable about the features our 2013 Edge. We did go on a Saturday and wanted to use our own financial institution to purchase the vehicle. My bank had no trouble getting the information they needed to process the loan, everyone one from the salesman to the loan managers were extremely helpful and friendly. On our way to pick up the Edge that next Monday, my husband called and left word that we would like to know if they could rotate the tires for us as well. Rich had already had the car in for detailing and the tires rotated by the time we arrived. Mr. Sneed, the dealership owner was there to quickly thank us for purchasing a vehicle from them. He joked around with my husband and I and just made us feel like family. Rich went over all the features on the Edge with us, he helped me get my synced to the system to use hands free phone. In addition to the vehicle manual, Rich also provided me with information on the navigation system, the Sirius radio that came with 2 months free service. Gower, MO is about an hour drive for us and we are both disabled so we have to stop frequently but I would make this drive again should I ever decide to purchase another vehicle. I liked the idea of a small town dealership, you don't feel pressured, the staff are all very friendly and just made you feel like a part of their community and family (this is a "family ran" business). Mr. Sneed didn't even mind when I went into his office to stand by the fireplace I smelled burning when we first arrived. I tell all my friends and family when they ask about our new car "you need to go see what Dennis has up there in Gower if you ever want a different car.

I went to Gower, Mo. from Lee Summit, Mo. looking for a deal. I was not expecting to buy a car because I thought the prices were too good to be true. I had a 45 minute conversation with Mr. Sneed and he explained how he keep his prices low(Most people do not have a chance to speak to the owner of car dealerships) After driving 50 miles and test driving a Lincoln MKZ. I did not find a better price in a 200 mile radius. Baron was patient as I made a decision on my vehicle.I had some minor issues with the car and they got me in to repairs and also gave me a loaner. I had done a lot of shopping online and found a vehicle in their inventory that was exactly what I was looking for. Solid vehicle, great features, priced well below market value. Made an inquiry online and received a prompt response from salesperson Baron Washington Jr. It was a pleasure to work with him through the buying process. Always professional, friendly, and made every effort to answer my questions thoroughly and accurately. The process itself was a little chaotic -- for example, almost no gas in the tank when we went to test drive and it was a newer vehicle to their inventory so they hadn't had a chance to check it out and discover some pretty obvious issues. That said, at every turn, they have went completely above and beyond to ensure that my concerns were addressed and that I was completely satisfied with my new vehicle.

My husband and I went up there looking for a truck. They found one in our price range and we went for a test drive. It was very clean and very nice and not over priced. We had our two young kids with us and they entertain and gave them snacks for over two hours. I sent a message through the dealer website that I wanted to test drive a car. I received an email and a phone message to come up and drive the car. The next day I left a voicemail for the salesman, trying to make sure the car was available. I drive 40 minutes to get to the dealer, the salesman tells me they took the car to an auction house. They didn't bother to tell me that the car was gone, so I wasted about 1.5 hours of my time driving to see a car that wasn't there. Oh, but they did offer to pull the car from the auction lineup for a $500 non-refundable charge. So, I would give them $500, they would bring the car to the dealer for me to test drive, and if I didn't like it, I would be out $500. I can't believe they even made that offer.

I tried to get in touch with them and heard nothing back, a few days latter a different person responed by my request for info without any knowledge that we were already working with someone. They gave me a very low trade in estimate for my vehicle that I was looking to get rid of. After not hearing anything back from them I ended up purchasing a vehicle from a different dealer and they gave me $5,000 more on my trade and were much easier to work with then Dennis Sneed Ford.

I found a used Ford Fusion online, and after talking with Kurt (our salesman), and reviewing the pictures online, I told them that I was ready to buy it, pending "putting my nose in it" to make sure it hadn't previously belonged to a smoker. Dennis Sneed Ford treated us so well! We were so happy with the deal and vehicle we received. The owner was so nice, and our car salesman Kurt was upfront and honest. I have already purchased two vehicles from this dealership, and each time I have been treated great and loved the service I received. They even went as far as to buy my one year old son chocolate milk and animal crackers from the store because he had been there all day. I have nothing bad to say other than I am so thankful for all of their help. Our financial manager Brian was realistic, to the point, and helped us make a good financial decision. I brought it back a week later to get the detailing done and they stayed true to their promise, and even fixed the gas tank for me. I will most certainly be back to buy a car from here.

I worked with Baron on getting a car and he was excellent. He was great with communication beforehand and very personable and easy to talk to when I drove up there. The cars are loaded with tons of extras which does increase the price but overall they're pretty reasonable. The one complaint I had was that the financing took a long time and they weren't able to offer be a good rate. I ended up finding a considerably less expensive rate at a different dealership which is why I didn't purchase from Dennis Sneed. I highly recommend Baron and Sneed Ford though if you have better luck financing than I did!

I started with a 2007 used Suburban for my wife, and even though it was used, they made sure everything was perfect for her. This experience and the low prices had me come back for a 2012 F-250 that I love and can handle anything I throw at it. The sales staff made sure I understood the new truck, and the service department has been top notch is keeping my truck in the best condition. I needed a car and fell in love with the 2013 Focus ST. This car gives me a youthful feeling with functional practicality. The perfect vehicle for me. Though I knew about the car, I wasn't ready to buy one and almost settled for another vehicle. Instead of getting two sales, they made sure I was happy with the first sale and would not want to trade it in. Be very careful if you choose to visit this dealership. We drove down there to look at a Certified Pre-Owned grey 2012 Ford Focus. We liked the vehicle and it appeared to be in good shape mechanically. However, when I asked to see the inspection report, they could not locate it. When I stated that I would not be interested in the vehicle without verifying that it had been inspected, they finally "realized" that that vehicle was not Certified Pre-Owned. The Auto Check report listed that vehicle's VIN, color, and mileage as Certified Pre-Owned and it was listed on the Ford website. However, they stated that a different vehicle, a blue 2012 Focus, was actually the Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and someone had entered the wrong VIN when reporting the vehicle as Certified Pre-Owned. They stated that the owner's son was probably responsible and they had no idea how it happened. The blue 2012 Focus was advertised on the dealer's website as Certified Pre-Owned, but the auto check did not state that it was Certified Pre-Owned and it had been in an accident. The next day, they raised the price of the grey 2012 Focus that we looked at and advertised it as Certified Pre-Owned. The blue 2012 Focus was no longer advertised as Certified Pre-Owned and they lowered its price. I don't know which car they lied about, but at some point they were advertising a car as Certified Pre-Owned when it was not. There were also several other things that made me suspicious. The grey 2012 Focus was missing valve stem caps on all four wheels. It did not have the manual in the glove box, and they did not know where it was. There was a sheet of paper in the glove box that looked like an invoice for the repair of scratches, but the car still had several significant scratches. They also stated that we didn't fill out any paperwork for the Certified Pre-Owned warranty when purchasing the car. They said it would all come in the mail later. The salesperson, Baron, was polite but didn't seem very knowledgeable about the car or Certified Pre-Owned process. The owner stopped by and gave a well rehearsed speech but did not show up after there was a problem. The man who came out with the salesperson to tell us that the car was not Certified Pre-Owned did not introduce himself and was very rude. If you decide to buy a car from them make sure you do lots of research and check the car very thoroughly. We also looked at a blue 2011 Ford Focus. It had at least five large stains, a hole, and a broken tail light that were not visible in the pictures on the website. They have low prices, but you don't know what you are getting.

The owner stopped by and gave a well rehearsed speech but did not show up after there was a problem. The man who came out with the salesperson to tell us that the car was not Certified Pre-Owned did not introduce himself and was very rude. If you decide to buy a car from them make sure you do lots of research and check the car very thoroughly. We also looked at a blue 2011 Ford Focus. It had at least five large stains, a hole, and a broken tail light that were not visible in the pictures on the website. They have low prices, but you don't know what you are getting.

Dennis Sneed and his team of salesman are all a good group of people. My wife and I just recently purchased a used car, and I was very pleased with their service! The only problem we had with our car was the radio would not turn on, in which they replaced a fuse and everything was fine. We received a great buy on our car, as it was priced $3,000 under Blue Book value! We were also able to arrange for financing that was perfect for our budget. If you are looking for a good dealer with fair prices, then I'd highly recommend giving checking their website or giving them a call.

My wife and I visited this dealership, to look at a couple of vehicles we had seen online. We test drove one of them, with a salesman, then returned to the dealer and parked at the front door. We were standing by the vehicle looking it over a bit and Dennis Sneed walked up and started talking. We told him we were from Overland Park and he immediately started bad-mouthing Bob Allen Ford, saying he had worked there for years and they somehow did him wrong, so he left to start his own dealership. This was the first red flag that should have sent me on my way -- bad-mouthing the competition is a sleazy tactic. He brought this up completely out of the blue -- we hadn't even been to Bob Allen. For some reason, we went ahead and bought the vehicle and had to return a couple of days later to pick it up -- why? I don't know -- they certainly don't do any type of cleaning/detailing as you would expect from a reputable dealer. The car was still filthy and, as others have mentioned, had just about enough gas to get to the nearest gas station, but not a drop more. As I was driving home, it started to get dark, so I turned the headlights on, but they didn't work at all - nothing. The dealership was closed by this time, so I had to drive home with just fog lamps on and return the car to the dealership for repair the next day. After a couple of days of waiting around, it ends up that they had put non-HID lamps in the car that was supposed to have HID -- a sneaky way to save a few hundred dollars on their end. Only after going round and round with Dennis, did they replace them with HID's (that they admitted to pulling from another car on their lot -- my guess is they put the non-HID's in that car for the next unwary buyer to deal with). Because my trust was completely gone at this point, I wanted the headlights examined by a mechanic at Northtowne Lincoln to be sure the repair had been done properly. Dennis boo-hooed this idea saying that he had once dated the wife of the owner of Northtowne and that he (the owner of Northtowne) would do anything to sabotage one of his sales (again -- bad-mouthing the competition and getting way too personal with the info). I went ahead and had the headlights checked out, and they were fine. I should have had the entire car looked over..This car did have an accident on the AutoCheck report, but they convinced me at Sneed that it was minor and it looked like repairs had been made. Just a couple of months after buying it, the paint on the hood became more and more hazy and spider-webbed to the point that it looked totally dull and awful after less than 6 months. It's as if there is no clear coat at all, and the paint was put on too thin. I also noticed a slow leak in one of the front tires a few weeks after buying the vehicle. I took it to a shop to see if what the cause of the leak was, hoping it was just a small puncture that could be plugged. It turns out that the wheel was bent along the inside edge and that was causing a poor seal on the tire, so now I'm looking at trying to replace an expensive rim. Who would think to take the wheels off of a car and inspect them? It seems to me that Dennis buys damaged cars by the truckload from the auction house, and uses poor repair shops to do the cheapest fix possible. MY ADVICE: Don't do business with this sleaze bag at all. You may think you're going to save a few bucks but, in the end, it's not worth the headache and, in my case, the paint and rim that I have to pay for will more than offset any "savings" I thought I might be getting. Oh...and they automatically add a $400 service fee to your purchase, but don't tell you that until you're signing papers. If, you feel you must do business with them, have the car thoroughly checked over by your own independent mechanic, and look at all the details. Test every single electronic gadget to be sure they work. Check the body, the spare tire, the paint (and it will be dirty, so have it washed first). They also had super cheap, no-name tires on the vehicle -- something I failed to look at. Really....just avoid them at all cost.

I was new to the whole car buying experience. So when I went to the lot and was not hounded by dealers and was greeted like I had been a long time customer I was impressed! Their website is great and that is how I found the car I wanted. And Kurt is the guy to work with, he is top notch! If I had to nitpick over something the only thing I would say is that my car could have been a bit better detailed, but they are a high traffic dealer so I imagine they clean a lot of cars. Overall I feel that I got a great deal on my car and I will definitely tell me friends to head out there for their next cars because I know I will!

I first came across Dennis Sneed Ford on cars.com and I had to get a new car under $8k i was on a budget and they showed me cars that were a little out of my price range and then right before i was leaving a couple traded a 08 fusion awd loaded with leather moon roof navigation the works in. The car had high mileage other than that you could eat off the floor it was so clean! to top it off it was in my price range. Carey Sneed Manager helped me out with my purchase and Brian the finance manager made my first car ever buying experience one to remember. I have taken my car to Dennis Sneed for oil changes, tires and never been disappointed.

My wife and I recently were in the car-buying process, and we happen to stop into Sneed Ford to test drive a couple of Mercury Milans. We had researched the cars here on cars.com first, and had communicated with the salesperson, Marcus via email. From the start, Marcus was very kind and answered all of our questions. I wanted to keep the communication just on email as to not have a bunch of dealerships calling my iphone during this time...Marcus kept our communication comfortable and just on email as requested. We showed up to the dealership, and everyone there was very friendly and helpful...I believe it's a family owned business because the "feel" of the place was such...very down to earth and comfortable. Marcus let us test drive 3 different 2010 Milans that were on the lot all priced competitively. His knowledge of the Mercurys was outstanding, and there was no pressure to buy...just OUTSTANDING customer service. Unfortunately we did not end up buying a car from the dealership...we decided to test drive an Altima and a Jetta as well, and we ended up purchasing a Jetta later that day from a different dealership. I wanted to make sure to write a great review because we had a good experience with Sneed Ford and Marcus our salesman. Our apologies that we didn't end up purchasing, but I know with the type of customer service that is offered at this dealership that plenty of commissions will be made this summer!! Knowing how a dealership truly operates within the scope of a Saturday afternoon is something I find difficult. We dealt with Eric, he was a nice fellow who was patient with us as we shopped for a vehicle. Our price range was somewhat lower than the first vehicle we test drove, but it had all of the power, drive, and interior features for which we were searching. We finally decided that we needed to look at cheaper vehicles. However, after a bit of banter and cajoling the price of the vehicle came down a fair amount. It was still beyond our allocated amount. We again decided that we better head home. Dennis, the owner, sauntered in around this time. We went out for a bit of malarkey around the car again and at this point Dennis had an extreme desire to sell us the vehicle. So, we found a very fair price point, purchased the vehicle, and went on our merry way. We dealt with Brian to finalize the purchase. I think that all people have multiple facets to their character that they greet you with, depending on the day. Our day was quite pleasant in the end, but a little weirder than the typical day. We have a great car, they have quite a bit of our money, and hopefully a year from now we will both be happy...

We had been to a few other dealers shopping for a new truck. We were not satisfied until we went to Dennis Sneed Ford. The deals were there, but more importantly, Bob made us feel very comfortable and treated us like valued customers. We called and told him what we wanted and he found the perfect truck. Dennis also made it a point to stop and talk to us more than once. They handled all the small stuff (switching out trucks, filling up the tank, etc.) while we were waiting on paperwork so the process flowed without having to just sit around and wait for long periods of time. This is my 4th car from Dennis Sneed Ford. I purchased a 2010 MKZ Sport. The car I bought was over 5000 dollars less than any dealer within 500 miles. My car was loaded with every option that was offered. All the staff was super friendly and would definitely recommend Dennis Sneed Ford to anyone who wants the best deals. I was a little concerned about some of the reviews I saw, but those were not even close to how I was treated. Best customer service ever. Carey, Brain and Dennis were super helpful. I will be back very soon for my 5th car. If you like super low prices, over 300 cars to chose from, and the laid back non pressure experience, this is the place to come.

Since I have got my car 45 days ago I have had to get four new tires, new heater blower, heater vents and now my car is leaking anti freeze!! I have to get a new water pump!! I have called them over and over and pretty much they tell me it's not their problem! Also when I got the car it was not detailed, I was looking for my back seat belts and there were bills, jewelry, food and a bunch of other stuff in the seats. There was pen marks on the ceiling and dirt everywhere! I called and they said they do not have good people that know how to detail, like that was a good excuse! Finally they took the car to detail it after our 3rd time calling and we took it there and it did not look any better they just vacuumed it, so I had to pay another place to detail it! This was my first time ever buying a car and it was a horrible experience. I would never go there again!!!

Did not have a good experience with this deal. I emailed the owner and "VP" about my experience and, not suprisingly, got no response. I see that he, or someone, responds to negative reviews so I thought I would post it on here. After reading some of the other reviews, it seems like a pattern. I recently purchased a truck from your dealership. The truck is great, couldn't be happier with it. The website description listed four removable tie-downs for the bed that are not with it, but other than that it's great. Couple of things with the process that bothered me though. The terms of the agreement were settled on Tuesday of last week, I did not receive a copy of the correct paperwork until Friday afternoon. I did, however, receive two sets of incorrect paperwork on Thursday. I have to believe that if someone was on your lot they would not be expected to wait three full days to sign and give you a check. I realize that doing business via the internet, phone, and through the mail creates unique challenges, but I'm not sure when I would have received paperwork if I had not pestered your staff about it. When the terms were agreed to I was told that I would receive everything via Fed Ex and that there would be a Fed Ex envelope included for me to return everything. I ended up receiving all the paperwork via email. After I did, I called to verify the turn around time for getting the truck to Springfield. I was told by two people, twice each, that if they received the paperwork on Saturday it would be here Monday, so I paid for UPS Saturday Delivery ($49). When I called on Monday to see when it was leaving and when I could expect it (after calling three times and getting no return calls) I fianally spoke to Carey. He said it would be 10 days to 2 weeks before it shipped. He went into detailed information about the hows and whys, and shipping cars to Dallas and St. Louis. I didn't care then, and don't care now. I understand that getting it here presents a problem, that's why I asked throughout the proccess about the time it would take to get here. Every single time I was told that it would go out the day after money was received. I asked what my options were and he said I could come get it. When I said that I wanted to cancel the contract and get my money back, I was told,"That's up to the owner but, you can't do that anyway." It's not up to the owner, I had not taken delivery. I was treated rudely and reacted rudely, I wish I hadn't, but no one likes to be talked to like they are an idiot. After telling him I wanted the truck here that day or I wanted my money back I was hung up on. Five minutes later the salesman that I worked wtih originally called to say that he was getting ready to leave the lot and head this way. The end result was fine. The truck was delivered when I was told I could expect it (the fact that the low fuel light was on when I started it for the first time was the cherry on top). I do not think that what it took to make that happen was necessary. I'm a reasonable person, and I was prepared for this to be an out of the ordinary experience, which I felt was acceptable since it was the exact truck I was looking for at a fair price. I wasn't prepared to be treated like a child. I was told that you ship "$.5M in cars all over the world," no idea if that is true, but if it is I thought you would like to hear about my experience to make sure that others are treated in the same manner.

Unlike my past visits to other dealership he was very knowledgeable when it came to this vehicle. He was kind and courteous. He made me feel extemely comfortable. He explained all of the functions of the vehicle. It almost felt like he built the car himself. Dennis Sneed has a winner working on his Team. Dennis Sneed himself was there directing his staff where to go and kept me updated on the handling of my paperwork. The Dealership was extremely busy, but he made sure that he talked to the customers to make sure their needs were being met. It was a pleasure working with Boyd. The price I got this vehicle was great! Fully loaded with all the bells and whistles. It was worth the price I paid. My family loves the vehicle too. I recommend this dealership to anyone. Great customer service, friendly staff! I was in and out with my car. Thank for the great experience. Besides the car, Boyd was the best part of my trip to the dealership.

I came across Dennis Sneed Ford and found the service to be excellent, the salemen was helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy at all! I found the used Ford Edge rariety to be very good. In comparison to other Ford Dealerships, I found Dennis Sneed to be uncomparible in their prices. I was finding them to be much cheaper then any other dealership I looked at in both Iowa and Missouri. never say never when doing your research and deciding on what you are looking for, let life surprise you..with that being said, our salesman was a young man named Shadow, he was patient, kind, polite . we were not going to consider Dennis Sneed because of some of the reviews but we wanted to see the yellow vette in person not in a picture , but they treated us with respect, there was NO hard sell and they worked with us in the negotiations, we walked out of there happy campers with our new vette. being senior citizens we bought the Millenium yellow with black interior, something we didn't want was black interior, well again never say never cause it is a gorgeous car. thank Shadow and Dennis Sneed Ford and thank you for the popcorn !!!!

When I got to the dealership, the sales associate was very helpful. He was not pushy or tried to make do something I didn't want to do. Called dealer twice before we arrived, second time 1 hour before we arrived. Arrived to see the used F 150 parked on the mountain in front of the dealership with a huge snowdrift behind it. He told me that the deal would have to be finished before we could test drive it (red flag #1). After we went inside and were seated in front of Erics desk the salesman next to us supposadly got a call from someone wanting to buy the same F 150 we were. The story was that he was offering cash over the phone without even looking at the vehicle (remember, we haven't even had a chance to look over the truck yet, still on the mountain side which is covered in snow and ice). A few minutes later over the intercom there was another manufactured call wanting the same truck; and of course Eric reminded us that he had two other inquires on the truck earlier in the day. (red flag #....I dunno )Next, the owner or manager begins his part in the drama. He comes out and starts strutting around the building saying that he won't take the cash offer over the phone; he would just as soon take it to the auction for that price. Of course the price was mentioned out loud, message to us.After they asked for a copy of our drivers license and insurance that was the last straw; I don't trust those guys with any of my personal information and I left.

Dennis offered us to park our car there in his closed gates until drive home on Sunday. He gave us the code to open his dealership (who do you know does that?) Shows what kind of person he is. I will go back to this dealer any time. Every one was easy to get along with , felt no rush, and the paper work took about 10 mins or less. When Bob was finished with his sale he came over and introduced himself and made us feel as if we have known him for ever. All in All great place Great people Great service!!!!!!!!! I will buy all of my vehicles from this dealer I can not get over how Down to earth they all are and Easy to talk to it makes things go smooth thanks guys !! keep up the good work!!!

Then talked with Brian whom worked hard at getting me the payment I wanted to make plus a CPO that covers 100,000 mile drive train and 75,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. not expecting that one at all. With a lower monthly payment than I was thinking. We drove our car down and was on way to KC for our anniversary did not want to take both vehicles (this was on Sat.) Dennis offered us to park our car there in his closed gates until drive home on Sunday. He gave us the code to open his dealership (who do you know does that?) Shows what kind of person he is. I will go back to this dealer any time. Every one was easy to get along with , felt no rush, and the paper work took about 10 mins or less. When Bob was finished with his sale he came over and introduced himself and made us feel as if we have known him for ever. All in All great place Great people Great service!!!!!!!!! I will buy all of my vehicles from this dealer I can not get over how Down to earth they all are and Easy to talk to it makes things go smooth thanks guys !! keep up the good work!!!

This will actually be my third review of Dennis Sneed Ford. I initially had a bad experience when trying to buy a used Ford truck from Mike. Mike failed to call me back numbereous times, and when I would call him and his response would be I was just about to call you back and I am trying really hard for you( I am sure). Mike called me after I gave them a bad review and said he was going to make it right, and asked me to take down my first review first. So, I did as he asked and wrote a good review and thought he was going to help me out getting me in a used pickup truck and be honest and fair about it. I even talked to Dennis once on the phone and he couldnt of been more of a rude, sarcastic, a$$hole. I could tell he only cared about one thing money and not customer service. So, I go through the trouble of emailing Mike photos of my trade in and all information that he requested. Only to wait two hours or more with no response (big surprise). I always had to call the dealership and they never returned any of my calls and always had an excuse for not doing so. So basically I took down my first bad review for no reason because Mike asked me to and then never did anything to help me out after the review was taken down. I took the time to send them information and photos of my trade in only to realize they wanted the bad review down so they could continue on in tricking people into thinking they were a good dealer that cared about their customers. Anyways I could go on and on, but I hope this helps with those customers looking to purchase a vehicle from an honest caring dealership, because if that is what you are looking for DO NOT GO TO DENNIS SNEED FORD.

Stay away from this dealer! Agreed on a price before I made the two hour trip because I didn't want to make the trip (gas isn't cheep) and waste everyones time if it wasn't going to work. Once it came down to the paperwork I was told we were 'off on the price'. At this point I explained the emails and phone conversations and to the reason I made the drive, we had a deal! In the end they are not honest nor do they keep their word. After visiting with Carey and going through all the bull of how much they have in the vehicle etc I asked it they were going to keep their word and they would not. I visited with Dennis himself to let him know what had happened (as a business owner he needed to know). One of the first things he said to me was 'do you want me to fire the salesman, I don't need him'. WHAT!! In the end I was the one out in this whole deal and Dennie could have cared less!! In my opinion I was a women who made this trip for a vehicle and they tried to screw me over! PS you can tell by the stock number if there is damage to the vehicle. If there is an 'H' that is hail etc. If there is an 'A' before the number there is no damage. That is what they told me, I guess they could have been full of it then too!

Carl was fine. Owner uses omission and stories to fit 'facts/disclosures' in without be straight forward and honest. Definitely better business practices are lacking. We were there for 2+ hours waiting to finish up paper work when we had already agreed on a price and payment. Frustrated b/c it's ultimately our fault, but integrity is lacking. Their ultimate goal is to sell the car not provide an experience....or for that matter have repeat customers. It's sad because we will need to buy 2 or 3 more vehicles in the next 5 years. There are a couple things about the car that are 'off'...and when we asked for their help...told we bought it we own it....there will be a charge..

I purchased this van Friday 7/20/2012 and after the business card I had from Carl went thru the laundry I thought I would comment here. The price was great, Carl and everyone involved with the sale were awesome. The ONLY flaw was the AC and your service dept offered to look at it but that wont be needed I was able to take care of the problem. This van is my freedom and an answer to prayer. I know the van was rock bottom priced because I've done the looking. Bought the 2011 Shelby Gt500 last week!. I worked with Carey Sneed on the deal. Overall it went good. They helped cover the cost of new tires for the back of the car. Alos no additional hidden fees. I live in Michigan so I never saw the car in person. Carey sent me numerous pics of the car and all the info he gave me about the car was correct. Only complaints would be the car took longer than I hoped to get delivered to me (not there fault). The floor Ac does not work. This was not noted but if it's covered under warranty it isn't a big deal. Over all I'm satisfied with there service. . thanks Carey! Lucas

Sold me a used LEMON on an " as is " deal . Dennis Sneed is the typical " Con Man " car sales guy who basically stole my 18yr old daughters hard earned money that she saved up for a car . We were lied to and told that the car had a simple oil leak which has turned out to be a disaster . I WILL NEVER , EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN !!!!

FOLLOW UP for feedback left in March, 2012.Shame on me for not expecting any problems. I did try to amend my situation with Dennis Sneed Ford, but to no avail. They have charged me for services that I WAS NOT to be charged for, sold me a vehicle in which they took advantage of the new Missouri inspection laws in that I had to replace two tires because of the POOR condition they were in and are less than cordial, timely and professional in responding. Luckily for me, I kept ALL documentation which was fortunately via email for a majority of it. So, I will be filing a complaint with the proper STATE organizations as well as taking the next step to retrieve approximately $500 from this dealership. Shame on them...

Went to them because we found a good price on a vehicle that we found on line. When we arrived the vehicle was dirty. Salesman said it was because Dennis Snead had been driving it. Than said everything works great and that the price would be going up on Monday. We purchased the vehicle. When we got home, we found that the DVD player didn't work. We immediately called back and were told to bring it in. We live over 60 miles away. When we got it to the shop, we were told that it would be $1500 to repair it. After balking at this, we were told that they would take one out of a vehicle on the lot and it would cost nothing. Before it was installed, we were told that it had to be ordered and would cost a total of $400. $300 would be covered by them and they wanted us to cover the other $100. Finally, Brian came out, after legal action was threatened, and said that we would only need to bring the vehicle back one more time to have the item put in at no cost.After getting the vehicle home with the new DVD player, we have a message on our answering machine from Eric that said, they forgot to do the IDOD inspection and we needed to bring the vehicle back again. This would be the 3rd trip in an large SUV that shouldn't of needed to be done. I called and talked with Brian, who said take it to any inspection station and they can do it and Dennis Snead would pay for it.3 weeks after the vehicle was purchased, we still do not have the second key and / or key fob that was promised (it was supposedly at the auction house and would be shipped to our house). We also still don't have correct paperwork to get the title, name has now been misspelled twice and the dealership has been notified three times.

I drove 5 hours to pick up a truck that I was assured had no rust. When I got there and looked underneath the whole frame was covered in rust and the body was rusted through in some places. The salesman was very unprofessional in his comments also. I'll never go back.

My daughter just bought her first car from Dennis Sneed about a month ago. She is loving her Ford Focus. There was some damage to the car, and so far Dennis Sneed has been awesome repairing it. Amanda is an awesome salesperson, and made my daughter feel very comfortable. The financing was very easy, and overall the whole process was quite simple. I appreciate how they made my daughter feel valued as a customer and an adult. Well worth the drive.

We went out of our way to go look at their lot because they wouldn't discuss price over the phone then they asked for a deposit over the phone. We got there and were rushed by the owner to buy now. He kept saying how he wanted us to be happy with our purchase because he wanted our repeat business and yet when we got to signing the paperwork they rushed us through because they were "busy" and said they would mail us the paperwork including title even though we were paying cash. We left without buying because we felt like we were just another number to them.

Well I will start off by saying we had a good salesman. Nothing he did was any of the problems. The first problem would be they never price negotiated, second would be refusing me to go home with a full tank of gas when, my trade in was full! The third and final thing was when we were starting paper work an argument started with some other people. It ended with the employee saying get the f**** out of my dealership! We then found out that that was Dennis Sneed himself cursing at the customer. We were very disappointed because no matter what the circumstance is the customer is always right! We walked out not buying anything. There was another customer that followed us too, so they lost three sales that day. I would not suggest this dealership to anyone and to tell anyone that plans to go to be very cautious they only want your money not your satisfaction!

My daughter was in the market for a good used car for her first purchase. She is a college student, so she wanted to get the most for her money. We have shopped as a mother/daughter team at several dealers, and always made to feel very uncomfortable. As a mom, I want a safe, quality car for my daughter. However, many of these salesmen at other dealers made us feel uncomfortable and stupid. As a the daughter of a retired GM worker, I am far from unknowledgeable about cars. I was surprised to see a young saleswoman about my daughter's age at Dennis Sneed. Amanda knows vehicles and has a very laid back approach. She related to my daughter much better than any other dealership. Meghan found a Ford Focus at an incredible price, and yes I was skeptical. I tried to find out what the catch was, and so far, so good. Yes it has cosmetic damage one side, but Dennis was very helpful in offering a solution to the damage issue. The financing was easy, and my daughter was able to do it all on her own. She is very happy with the car, and so was I with the whole experience.

I shopped around on the internet trying to find the vehicle my wife wanted to drive. I found a too good to be true deal through Dennis Sneed Ford. After looking through some of their inventory, I saw through Auto Check (like CAR FAX), a vehicle that had been in a front end collision at a lower price than comparable vehicles. The link on the particular vehicle I was looking at wouldnt work. I called the salesman asking if he could send me the vehicles report via email since the link wasnt working. After a few request he obliged. Sure enough the vehicle had been in an accident and had frame damage. All this after I told the salesman I was shopping for a vehicle for my wife and son while I was deployed. Ill be reporting this dealership to JAG attempting to get them put on the black list for military personnel. A younger and more inexperienced driver might have been duped into purchasing a vehicle for their family that is unsafe. All Ill say is watch out for the Edges and Taurus from Sneed and probably the entire inventory. Very unhappy avoid these scammers, if you cant, do your home work prior to purchasing anything.

Went in to try to and trade me car for a 2010 Fusion. They lied over the phone about trade values and how they sell cars. I do not trust them for anything. They do not train their sales people well and they do not honor their word. Before you spend ANY money here, go somewhere else.

I called on a 2010 Ford Fusion. I specifically asked the sales person if they used NADA value on their trade-ins. They told me they did, so I went out to look at the car. Upon seeing the car, we went to discuss trade in, but it was late. I put a hold on the car so that it would be there the following day. My trade in on NADA is. Allied between $9200 and 10200. They offered me at most eight thousand. They then told me that if they gave me 10200 and have to put $700 in the car and sell it for 12900, someone would offer 12000 and they wouldn't make enough on it. Three days later they tell me that they give customers rough trade value and sell cars for average trade value. What bull!! This dealer needs to train their sales people better and realize that lying doesn't cut it with people. My advise? Spend your money elsewhere.

Filed a complaint with BBB with intentions to have dealership supervisor attempt to make concessions for horrible service and dishonest practices. Dennis Sneed allowed the same salesman who was responsible for my complaints to respond. He responded in an aggressive unproffessional manner with a dishonest sequence of events. Some of my issues are as followed:a. Dennis Sneed himself had a salesman drive him to the airport in my car after I had purchased the car and awaited to pick it up.b. Dealership advertised the vehicle with options it did not have at the time of exchange.c. Brian Estes (Salesman) had my vehicle in the dealership garage at time of pick-up with hood open and battery out needing to be replaced. It took dealership four hours to replace.d. radio mount was broken on the car in the care of the dealership after purchase and before pick-up.e. after I purchased the vehicle an additional 100 miles were put on the odometer.f. Salesman would not return call to set-up time to fix issues.g. This is just a few of the issues there were many more.

I traveled over 1000 miles round trip to purchase a 2010 E350 Ford passenger van for my business and Dennis Sneed Ford save me $8000.00 dollars. That's right, My local Ford dealer- Kirk Ford (formally Buddy Jones Ford) in Greenwood, Ms wanted $29,000 dollars for the exact equipped 2010 E350 extented I purchased at Dennis Sneed Ford for $21,000 dollars. Oh yes! The Dennis Sneed vehicle had 14,000 miles and the Kirk Ford vehicle 22,000 miles on it. (That's 8000 miles less!) You can really save a lot of money by shopping on the internet. I found my almost new van on cars.com and autotrader.com. In closing, use the internet and the telephone to call dealers before you travel long distances to verify that the vehicle is as listed and is in stock.
