After exploring vehicle and dealership options elsewhere; Brian was a breath of fresh air. He was straightforward, experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was able to coordinate communication etc between two buyers (my father and I), in different locations, with ease. Lori from finance was also great to work with; Being efficient, accurate, and also very friendly/enjoyable. I couldn't recommend the dealership enough, and of course my new Subaru Outback is/has been amazing; Wow - It does it all relative to my transportation needs.

By far the best car buying experience I’ve ever had! All of the staff I interacted with were truly so helpful, kind and not at all like the typical “car salesman” style. They’re not there to haggle you or pressure you. I’ve never felt so comfortable purchasing a car. I can’t say enough good things! Of course I absolutely love my Subaru Outback as well! I will DEFINITELY be purchasing my future cars from them and recommend them to anyone who’s looking to purchase a car!

I called looking for a specific Forester which was already sold. Kevin stayed on the line while searching the database and found that the exact model will be at my local dealer in August (the local dealer did not offer to search for the car). He then welcomed me to the Subaru family. I am about four hours away from Bellingham and I am not buying a car from Kevin. If this is an example of the customer service and satisfaction Kevin strives to attain while on a cold-call, I imagine that buying a car from him in person would be a very positive experience. If you are planning to visit this dealer, find Kevin!

Moved to the area a couple of years ago and started bringing the car here for service. Mostly little things, but after a tree fell on the highway right in front of us AND we rolled over it, a bigger kind of help was needed. I've had Subarus for around 40 years and bought the last 4 from Dewey-Griffin. We first bought two lease-return first-year Foresters around 15 years ago and then 2 new Subarus through Dewey as the Costco dealer. We especially appreciated working with Sharon recently when my husband wanted a new car with the Eyesight Technology. She "steered" us to the Cross-Trek (which we somehow didn't even know about), which was the perfect combination of familiarity with the Impreza we already have, the technological bells and whistles my husband wants (and needs!), and high enough seats that I, who am vertically challenged, have great visibility but seats that I don't need a step-stool to get to. We LOVE Dewey-Griffin and their staff and all of our Subarus!

The nice thing was that almost everything was done on line and when they came to pick me up I was greeted by Sharon and my new car to take for a test drive before I signed the paperwork. Young couple, first time buying a new car. Sales agents were nice, low pressure. Worked out a deal over email for a new Forester. Got to the last step of the purchase and saw a charge for fees we had negotiated away. Apparently, Dewey Griffin had made a mistake. Even though the removal of the fees were made clear in (and agreed to) over email, that aspect hadn't been approved by the sales manager. The sales manager, Heath, who has clearly read the "48 Laws of Power" unironically, reacted in a way that apparently betrayed a deep insecurity when confronted with his own mistakes. Hostile, rude, and incapable of admitting ownership over the problem, he walked out on us mid-sentence declaring the whole deal "over" about a minute after we sat down. Power move! So yes, a professional place of the highest standards. If you want to support the kind of business that can't own up to its own mistakes, treats customers like enemies to be conquered, and treats deals written down in advance as discretionary, Dewey Griffin is your place.

Best experience ever with a trade-in and purchase of one of your best cars, the Crosstrek. I so love my new car. We had a Forester and a Subaru Impreza WRX STI and we were amazed with those 2 cars but this Crosstrek is definitely one step above. I will highly recommend your dealership and congratulate each of you for doing such an excellent job in Customer Service for each individual that enters your place to purchase, repair and trade-in vehicles. Normally I don't bother with writing reviews. However I made an exception for Dewey Griffin Subaru. I am on my 5th Subaru and the last three were purchased at Dewey's. Needless to say if I was not impressed I would not have purchased three cars from them. My latest is a 2014 Outback. My wife and I love it. The service is great from the quick appointments to the friendly drivers that give me a ride home and back when my car service is complete. The two drivers are like long time friends. Service reps know me and remember small details. I would strongly recommend Dewey Griffin Subaru to anybody considering a new car.

We are on our third car from Dewey Griffin. 2nd Subaru. Love both the team at Dewey and our Subaru. Our car buying experience was fantastic, very low pressure compared to other places I've been to. I felt very welcomed and respected while finding the perfect car for us. I have been using the Dewey Griffin service department since I bought my first car from Dewey almost 10 years ago. I have never had anything but the best service, and very friendly employees. I feel like the prices are very competitive and the staff is really just amazing. I will continue to go back and continue to recommend them to everyone I know!

We recently took our Subaru Outback in for a major servicing and we were extremely happy with the overall experience. We received fast and friendly check in service, a new Forester to use as a day loaner and our Outback was spotless when we picked it up. We were relieved to learn that in addition to all the items that needed attention due to our mileage, they also found a huge nail imbedded in one of our tires and, of course, fixed it immediately. Over the many years we have used Dewey Griffin Dealership we have come to trust the staff completely and highly recommend them as the best service professionals we have ever used.

I was trading in my 2010 Forester for a new one and stopped at the dealership to see what the trade-in value would be and to see if there was a new model I liked. I met with Bruce, who I'd been in contact with via the internet. He skillfully determined my needs and wants, and found the perfect car for me. There was no pressure to make a sale, no pressure to choose one car over another, no pressure to make added purchases or upgrades, which was very much appreciated! I went to a movie, drove back to Dewey Griffin after the movie, and my car was ready. I drove it home that day. There were two issues to be resolved and when I returned the next day, they were taken care of in about ten minutes. Easiest. Car. Purchase. Ever,

Twice was interested in cars advertised and both times mislead by them. First one a car showed up with fewer miles (40k+) in advertising than real life, ok no big deal we'll keep looking... Next time a price drop in a car we were interested in, go for test drive, show salesman their website with pricing, get back to dealer give deposit so we can come back later in day and finish purchase. Get a call an hour later "oh sorry we can't sell it to you for that, it will be $2k+ more..." One mistake ok, but two back to back? I think their business practice needs a major tune up. We won't be back there.

We have been customers at Dewey Griffin for many years now. They have always been friendly and helpful. Recently we have had our 2011 Outback in for a routine service and also today they changed a headlight for us without an appointment. I was very impressed and thankful! Mark was our Service Advisor and he always does a great job and looks out for the customers interests!

We just purchased our first Subaru. We researched it for several months and talked to several dealerships. Dewey Griffin gave us the best deal and Joshua was excellent to work with. Never pressured us once. We decided on a new Forester and are very happy with it.

He let us go at our own pace and was never pushy. Everyone was very friendly and there were no negatives. This is our first Subaru and we really like it.

Was in for a diagnosis for my truck and was told that the problem had been found and that they could fix it by the next day. Told the service technician to go ahead and repair it. Drive it home without any issues. Next day the problem starts again. So i call back and the were generous enough to do a complementary diagnosis (which is only fair since i was told it was already one thing and that it had been fixed). Get the diagnosis and apparently it is now something completely different. I thought a diagnosis was so that you could find the problem and fix it. It souldnt be trial and error. The service tech. that had been helping me through this if you can call it that was Nick. He seemed helpful at first until i had questions and asked why it was now this after it had supposedly been fixed. I guess im not supposed to be curious because it seemed to upset him that i was asking these things. He could only give me one answer and the answer was that something else needed to be fixed and kept repeating himself. I later had to call the Service manager to get an understanding of what was wrong. I was also quoted about $150 dollars more than Bellingham Automotive for the same fix. Apparently it is more expensive for the same part here and takes an hour longer. Will not return for service and would recommend anyone else to do the same. Thats if you dont want to get the run around.

My husband Isidro & I purchased our first vehicle with loan from Dewey Griffin. It is a Buick Raineer 2006. The service was excellent and when they had to service our car they got it in right away. I was so happy with their service we came back today 2.22.2013 to purchase our second vehicle a 2006 nissan armada. We are loyal to Dewey Griffin because of their overall kind and welcoming personality, the quickness of getting us into a new vehicle and the willing and readiness to help or answer any questions or concerns we may have had.

We had a good experience buying a 2013 Legacy - the sales staff were friendly and understood what we were looking for, as well as the price we expected. (We used the Costco connection so the pricing was very straightforward.) Josh and Sharon were patient with our need to test drive several models and answered our questions readily. I especially enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the showroom - it seemed like a "family" place.

My wife & I stopped by this dealer looking for a Subaru. The sales team was generally nice, and were happy to show us the new vehicles and allow us to test drive. As soon as we narrowed down our vehicle of choice, you could tell the representative switched into sales mode. It's too bad, because Tony seems like a nice guy, but it was an unpleasant experience. First off, he wouldn't give us a price on the vehicle if we weren't ready to make a purchase. We explained that there was no way we would sit down & buy a car without reviewing the price. So right after the song and dance, he made us feel pressured. He recommended we look around other dealers to the south, and let him be the one to beat their price. So we did just that - went to Roy Robinson in Marysville, found the vehicle we wanted and returned to allow Tony & Dewy Griffin to match or beat the price. In fact, I gave him the figures over the phone, and said, "If you're not able to get to this number, then there's no reason for us to come in." Tony assured me he could work something out, and we agreed to go in to work out a deal on the car we test drove a day or two before. More funny business. As soon as we got there, I asked about the vehicle we wanted. He then told us he'd sold that one first thing this morning, before I'd even called in to set up an appointment. So they no longer had the vehicle we were set on. The next thing they did was try to talk us into an older model they had on the lot, then a newer model with different options. They didn't much care what we wanted, they wanted to sell what they had. So after his sales pitch "buy local, years in business, certified shop, car washes. . ." we asked him to cut to the chase and give us a price. He started by saying he'd have to give us a price - not the best price - and then he'd go talk to the manager and work to get us a price we liked. More games. Then he'd go into a side room, come back later and talk in circles about everything but the price. We had enough after an hour of his nonsense and games that we motioned to leave. Only then did he start to break down the price. When it was all said and done, he was over $2000 higher (on an out-the-door price: tax, title, etc.) on a 2013 Subaru Outback Premium Automatic with cold weather package. My recommendation, don't waste your time with these clowns and go to Skagit or Marysville. We bought from Marysville because they got what we wanted, for the price we wanted. The group at Skagit had a limited stock, but they were much better to talk to than Dewey. Our good friends from Bellingham had nearly the same experience at Dewey and redirected us to Roy Robinson. So glad we didn't buy from Dewey.

Words can not fully reflect the attention that was given to our needs: the type of travel we would anticipate, the cars safety features, and the best way to work with the scheduled maintenance.
