I went in mostly sure I was going to buy a new car. Nick did a great job with information about features of each of the Tiguans. His follow-up days later was welcome as he was able to answer some operating questions. Colin did great with getting me a fabulous loan rate and the most out of my trade-in. Going through all of the paper work (with Justin I think?) went smoothly. Everything was explained appropriately and all of my questions were answered. Thank you all for making everything go so smoothly!

Cars are nice, of course; however, I spent 2 hours there with my daughters, and right when I was signing reservation papers for an id4, the salesman notified me if an extra 8k. I completely understand the up charge for low inventory in the region, but I couldn’t believe he didn’t tell me about it until that moment. We had clearly talked numbers before. It was a big disappointment.

Excellent. Mike Siegel is a star! He was helpful, straightforward, and kind. Garrett was our sales guy and he was diligent and thorough. Only didn’t like that it was hot inside on a hot day and there was some issues with the AC.

I had the best experience that I have ever had buying a car. My sales rep Austin Pounders new that I had already done my homework & had my mind made up between 2 cars, the Tiguan and the Touareg. He never pressured me to look at or to try to up sale me to a more expensive model. Instead he focused all of his time in making sure that I knew how all of the features worked so when I drove it off the lot I was as comfortable driving it as I was my older car. I love my Wolfsburg Tiguan and would not trade it for anything. The finance portion of the transaction was very easy, and I was in and out in no time. I highly recommend Austin if you are looking to buy a car. He is extremely knowledgeable about all of the VW products. I will certainly use him again in the future if we decide to trade in our other car.

So far, I have had nothing but the best of service and assistance from the fine folks at Dick Hannah Volkswagen at the Vancouver Mall location. Starting with my sales person Nick Blystone, who was more than excellent! Very informative and catering, listens well to specifications and knows what you're looking for almost before you know it! Even after returning a year later to get some service, he has always been friendly and even remembers my name!As for the service; quick, efficient, and professional. All I wanted was a little check on a wiring issue I was having; and they did a full inspection and found several issues I was unaware of. Just an overall excellent experience. It's nice having peace of mind when it comes to your car. Especially when you drive out of town every day for work. 11/10

I just bought a new car from Dick Hannah VW. Greg Foumal and Roy Saydi were my contact points. The entire process has been extremely smooth and efficient. Everything was handled over phone and email. The whole process took less than 2 hours and when we were done, Greg drove the new car to my place and drove back home with my trade-in. This was on a Friday evening at 9pm. This was a truly amazing experience. Greg and Roy made buying a new car extremely easy and stress free. Highly recommended!

I contacted them via email and they got back to me right away, in a very professional yet relaxed manner. Greg and Dimitry were super friendly and helpful. They even worked together and arranged to pick me up as I didn't have transportation to the dealership. Dimitry is a very nice man who showed he cared about what I wanted and got me what I wanted. The entire experience started out with a quick response from Greg in Internet Sales. I was interested in a 2017 Tiguan and after just a few emails, we had a tentative deal on the table. They pulled the vehicle for me to test drive the following morning and when I showed up, there it was, almost on-display in the front. The car matched the internet description and photos to a T. No misrepresentation. I was met by Greg, (thanks for the keychain!) who was quick to introduce me to the vehicle and we were off! The test drive went very well, Greg was thorough and able to answer my questions in a knowledgeable way. I decided to move forward with the purchase but there was a change in financing. This is where Roy, I believe the Sales Manager, stepped in and explained EVERY part of the deal, from each fee to how the deal was structured. My trade-in had a clear, fair-market value, and he was able to provide me with a few new financing options. He was very patient with me and my questions and left me with an informed decision to make. I accepted the financing option that fit me best, (thanks for the deal Roy!) and then the behind the scenes portion got rolling. This was fairly quick, as I was the first customer of what was sure to be a very busy Friday since two more were waiting to sign as well. Chris in financing was friendly, quick and efficient. When I received delivery, the detailers had done a very nice job inside and out. Greg was able to sit with me in the car and go through some of the features, as well as pairing my phone and activating my free trial of "Car-Net." I have had the car for a week now, and absolutely LOVE IT!!!! The Car-Net folks are very friendly and the features in the vehicle are endless. Overall, I would have to say that the good majority of my experience went very smoothly and when the financing curveball came, Roy wasnt the usual smooth talker that other dealers have sent in the past to confuse the customer and steer them in a direction that is best for the dealership. Not like that at all. Roy was very good at presenting the financing options and then explaining each one in detail. I must admit, I did ask for his opinion, but he was not pushy. I highly recommend purchasing a vehicle online here, as they will hold the vehicle and if I happen to not like it, (IMPOSSIBLE!) I was not locked into any type of binding agreement. Go online and strike a deal with Greg, head for the test drive, and actually have a positive experience at a dealership for a change! I am very happy with the experience in general and of course my gorgeous new car. Thanks for all the hard work guys!!

Let me preface this by saying that several salesmen from other dealerships contacted me too. My experience with these other people were beyond upsetting. Initially, Greg sent me an email introducing himself and not coming across as a pompous xxx. I did express my situation to Greg, and he took it upon himself to talk to Alex. Alex sent me an email and for whatever reason he just sounded so sincere. He asked me to give him a chance to help and for whatever reason I trusted him. A couple of hours later I was approved for a brand new Jetta. Greg went the extra mile and I will be forever grateful to him. My daughter and I drove up to Vancouver the very next day and I'm excited beyond belief. Thank you, Greg, from the bottom of my heart. You too Alex, you guys ROCK!

I bought a 2016 Golf Sportwagen from Greg, and would do it again. The process went exactly as it was explained to me ahead of time.We agreed to a price before I arrived at the dealership, and a time the car would be ready. I arrived a little late (apologies, guys), and the car was ready to go. Right away, Greg took me over to it, and we went for a test drive. He answered all of my questions, explained that the car would be detailed and filled with gas while we did paperwork, and about how long that paperwork would take. There was no upselling at any point in the process. I was handed to Chris to handle paperwork, who did so efficiently and quickly, and also answered all of my questions. By the time the paperwork was done, my detailed car was ready to go. Greg handed it off to me, answered all of my remaining questions (and helped me setup my phone), and off I went. Bonus points to the team for storing my bike inside the sales office during the whole process.Greg did an excellent job by being so straightforward, and by keeping our agreement firm throughout the process.

I just bought a 2016 golf limited sports wagon and am thrilled! Not only did i get a great price, but the Customer Service was Outstanding!Dimitri Makhanov was the consultant I worked with. He's a true professional and has Customer Service hard-wired into his DNA. I was there for 2+ hours while he and his team called around to get the color of the car I wanted. They ended up sending a truck out to two other dealers around the state to effect the trade. Now that's service! I'd been to 2 other dealers who knew the car color I wanted but made no attempt to find it for me ~ even as i was considering something less desirable. But not Dimitry ~ he was on it ~ wanting me to have what I wanted. He and the team that supported him were hardworking, positive, and diligent. I'm so very grateful!Chris, in financing, was another star. He came up with a creative financing strategy that gave me the best options, was direct and clear without hassling, and helped me navigate the complexity of getting credit approval since i'd had my scores frozen because of identity theft. This dealership runs like a well-oiled machine with Customer Service at its core. They're pleasant, FUN, and easy to deal with. I was amazed to have such a joyful experience and brought Dimitry and Chris some chocolate when I picked up my car ~ out of gratitude for their taking such good care of me :)And perhaps the best part was when I actually got my car and Dimitry, with incredible patience and skill (exquisitely pacing what i could handle), oriented me to the features of the car, demonstrated, then had me do all the things he showed me so i left with confidence. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere and courteous salesmen I encountered during my experience. When I arrived I asked a salesman (Austin) that greeted me, to speak with Larry or Shane. Austin went to find them for me and came back and stated they were both busy with customers, but he didn't leave me just standing there. In fact he offered to show me some cars and that was very nice and considerate; we looked at some vehicles and he was very helpful in helping me to decide on a car. So when Shane came out to join us I already had a general idea of what I wanted. The remaining time I spent with Shane was very informative and comfortable. He answered many questions and he worked with me on what I wanted. After all paperwork was done and I was very happy with my vehicle, Larry came out and showed me a few things about my car and asked if I had any other questions, I stated that Shane did a great job in answering my questions. Thank you all for making me feel like a valued customer. I will tell others about you for sure. I'm a very happy customer.

To anyone looking to purchase a great vehicle I recommend shopping at Dick Hannah in Vancouver, my wife and I I have bought two vehicles from there now one in 2015 and another this year !. Not only do we love our VW Tiguan and VW GLI but the great customer service we received and continue to receive really makes it that much better ! We bought both our vehicles from Larry Llorente I would recommend him to everyone not only is he extremely knowledgable about all the different vehicles but he will continue to follow up with you after your purchase to make sure all of your questions are answered, and be there for you if you want need help figuring out those awesome new features your vehicle has like "car net" or the apple car play feature on your touch screen console. I have shopped at other dealerships in the area like Ron Tonkin and the customer service I received at other dealerships just doesn't come close to great service received at Dick Hannah and continue to receive. I have only worked with Larry Llorente there so I would recommend looking for him when you shop at Dick Hannah if you want top notch service.

Buyer Beware ..............just another shady car dealerWe bought a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Dick Hannah a couple of years ago. At 35,500 miles, the car just had its 3rd transmission repaired. Less than one year ago at 32,000 miles, it had to have the transmission replaced. Dick Hannah did the work and upon returning the car to us, we had to take it back because it was leaking. We were told it needed another transmission, so Dick Hannah put another transmission in it. My wife recently took the car in for its first oil change since the 3rd transmission was put in and we were informed it was leaking. This time we took the car to another dealer to fix and their report stated that the leak was due to incorrect installation. We had the car repaired and then I approached Dick Hannah about purchasing the car back from us, as we didn't think a car with 35,500 miles should have just had its 3rd transmission repaired.I met with the sales manager and the parts/service manager (a long time employee) to discuss helping us get away from the car and they talked about how much they empathized with my wife & I and how they were going to take care of us. They repeatedly talked about how "Believe In Nice" was a way of doing business and how they would do the right thing and make a deal to "help" us and they wouldn't make money on our next car purchase from them.The Sales Manager then made me a cash offer, and later a trade in offer if I bought another car from them. I told him I thought the numbers were low and it looked like they were trying to profit off of our car again (they both stated that they would re-certify our car & sell it again due to the low miles). The sales manager challenged me to take the car to any other dealer to see if they would give me more because Dick Hannah was being very generous to "take care of us". I took his advice and drove to another dealer who offered me $500 more than Dick Hannah to buy the car. I later looked up the "trade in value" and it was more than Dick Hannah offered us if we traded the car back to them and bought another car from them.I understand that I purchased a used car, but when it turns out to be a xxx, don't patronize me by telling me how even though we sold you the car, and failed to actually fix it twice, we are going to "take care of you" when you actually did less than a dealer who had no reason to "help us out".Dick Hannah doesn't "Believe in Nice" ...................they believe in making $$$$$ above all else.

When making the decision to finance two autos within 6 months of each other Nico Nabors was VERY patient and helpful with our search. His knowledge and professionalism was much appreciated. What I appreciated most was that I had located a car on line a few months ago and the car and sold which left me disappointed. However, when visiting the dealership just last week to view another auto he had the auto I was previously interested in, parked in the lot for my viewing as it became available for purchase once again and he made the correct choice in having that car available for my viewing. Our car had been totaled so we had to purchase a car quickly. After some disappointing experiences at other lots we connected with Nick at Dick Hannah VW. We found the car we wanted but just weren't ready to finalize it yet, we needed to sleep on it. We were assured that the offer would be valid for 24 hours assuming the car was still available. I just hate when you pull into a car lot and you get attacked by salesman. You won't get that at DH VW. He responded to each one immediately.I called all the dealerships in the Portland/Vancouver area shopping for the best price on a 2016 Volkswagen GTI (Audubon). Greg gave me a great price quote. Northern dealership could match the price. In fact, one dealership immediately so they could not match the price. I was concerned that the price Greg quarterly was some sort of attempt to get into the dealership where they could possibly change the pricing. I explain to Greg my concerns. Thankfully he was not offended because when I showed up the price quote stayed the same. There was none of the gamesmanship which is all too common with car salespersons.I was also assisted by an Allstate insurance agent (sorry,I don't remember her name). She was very helpful and honest. She has great sense of humor and I really enjoyed speaking with her. I am extremely satisfied and recommend Dick Hannah Volkswagen.

I got my 2016 GLI from Nicholas at Dick Hannah. He really took the time to find out what I needed and made a point to make sure I was happy throughout the transaction and afterward. I really felt like I was working with a friend who had my best interests at heart, and not just another salesman trying to make a dollar. I was in an unfortunate position with my car and he talked about all my options and politely answered all thousand of my (mostly dumb) questions. In the end, I walked away with similar monthly payments, a far better car, full tank of gas, and total confidence in my purchase. I wanted to upgrade my 2013 GTI (also bought at Dick Hannah VW) to something newer and a little nicer and I must say in the last 2 and half years or so, they've improved quite a bit. My first experience was by no means the worst I've had at a dealership, but along with the quality of the GTI they have improved a lot. Thanks to Nicholas Blystone, I had the easiest, most enjoyable car buying experience last week.The experience was so enjoyable, in fact that I completely forgot that I was dealing with a car salesman at all.He believed me when I said that I was unwilling to negotiate on my terms and not only were they met, but they were met with an even more desirable vehicle than I was originally looking for.The vehicle had to be delivered (taking a little over a day) and the entire time I felt more like I was spending time with a friend, than with someone I was doing business with. I leased my second VW last year. i had the first one for over 200,000 miles. I thought i was looking to do a car swap. I leased the car in 2014 from Barbie, who was just wonderful to work with. I now drive massive miles for work and run my car hard, and I was concerned about the lease on the back end. But Greg and the finance team helped me out. I was able to turn my lease into a purchase (because i do love my car) AND get into an extended warranty for the same payments. I just bought my first Volkswagen. I honestly think it was Divine intervention as I was headed for the Kia dealership and turned into the wrong or should I say "right" driveway. My friend and I got out of her car and realized our error but by then our awesome salesperson was introducing himself. I was asked a few simple questions about my needs and wants and was test driving a Jetta Wagon within minutes. Javan was personable and respectful and very easy to deal with. I felt listened to and that there was genuine interest in helping me to find a vehicle. I never did make it to Kia !!!! I drove it a few days when I experienced a glitch and called the service department. They had me bring it right in and fixed the issue. Everyone in the service department was friendly and helpful and NICE..... what a nice place to buy a car and get it serviced too.

During my two visits at this dealership (one for sales and the other for service) I was able to observe and be the recipient of one of the best customer service I have experienced in a business. And I was just sharing that information with one of my friends because I found it so unusual when I was asked to do this survey.I purchased a new VW during my first visit. That's when I dealt with Barbie and Danny and as far as I am concerned they performed a miracle, considering my situation. I did not deal with a sales person because I already knew what I wanted and they had the car ready for me when I arrived and it met my requirements exactly. And yesterday when I returned to have a flat tire repaired, I ran over a screw, from the young woman greeting you to the service area to the young man at the service desk and that wonderful van driver, their attitude, how they interact with the customer were simply exceptional. I am sorry I do not recall all of their names but will remember how they treated me.

I had contacted Greg through the recommendation of a friend. Greg and I chatted via email for several days before I scheduled a day to meet with him. I am pretty skeptical about cars dealerships but found Greg to be a pretty straight shooter. I had done alot of research about what I wanted and what it would cost. Greg was straight forward about what he could and could not do. Every question that I asked was answered correctly, based on my research. He even drove to another location to grab my car...that just came of the truck!! Brought it back, washed and detailed. Went to dickhannah VW the other day, to buy a new jetta. Unfortunately the specific car i wanted wasn't at the vancouver location it was in portland, instead of greg trying to sell me a different car, he drove to portland and picked up the exact car I wanted. Two thumbs up for sure.

I first worked with Dick Hannah a few years ago when I bought a used Volkswagen GTI from Dick Hannah Honda. The sales process was straight forward. And the loyalty program is great.On Tuesday of this week I decided to buy a new used car with excellent gas mileage. On Wednesday, I drove home a 2014 Toyota Prius. I score you all 10 out of 10, and appreciate the less than 30 minutes in finance.I totally love my new 2015 VW Golf R, but I still believe that AIex Gihm could have either sold me my 2015 VW Golf R for a little less, or paid me a little more for my immaculate 2012 VW Golf R, but what can I say, of my own free will, I agreed to their terms. Besides, Alex did my wife and I right with our new 2015 VW Passat SEL Premium that I bought a few days later. I had a great experience (my 3rd) with Dick Hannah. I went in to have some recall work done on my Jetta, and left with a new Golf (oops!) My salesman, Javan Alibabaie, was very good in showing me cars I was interested in, test driving, and searching out the few manual transmissions available. The finance department worked with me to get it right. Everyone was very friendly, and no "high pressure" guy came in to seal the deal. It was a very busy day at the dealership, but everything went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend Dick Hannah dealerships!

On February 10, 2015, I contacted Dick Hannah Volkswagen through the web and received a phone call from Sales Person Greg Foumal in regards to my request for information on a used truck at their dealership. I explained our (my husband and myself) situation in great detail and what I was wanting to accomplish. We had two 2014 Toyota's; one was a Tundra Limited fully loaded with 7900 miles on it that we owed $37,938.48 on, the other was a Prius with 9000 miles on it with a payoff of $25,900.00. I explained that we wanted to lower our current monthly payment amount of $792.00, however, I did not want to end up with any negative equity being added onto the loan for a new VW Beetle that I was looking at online. The Beetle had a sale price of $20,990 and we wanted to use the Tundra as the trade on that vehicle in order to get the payments where they needed to be. I made it very clear that I did not want to finance more than $20,990, the sale price, because I knew the Tundra was worth at least the payoff amount. On many occasions, Greg stated that he understood what I was trying to accomplish. I then told him that we were aware that we were upside down (had negative equity) in the Prius so we also were going to include a 1997 GMC truck that was paid off to help absorb some of the negative equity. After several conversations over the phone with Greg he told me they could do the deal and get us out of the negative equity with the Prius so we would be better off, and that there would be no negative equity with the Tundra as a trade-in for the Beetle. We decided to go with the offer that was presented to us on the 13th of February even though the payment wasn't lowered by much - it was supposed to be $770.00 a month, and we would no longer have any negative equity by purchasing a used 2012 Chevy and a new 2014 Beetle which was supposed to be fully loaded with navigation. That was the beginning of the worst experience ever. We live 150 miles from the dealership so the deal was completed over the phone and was supposed to be ready for us to sign when we arrived on the 14th of Februaryit wasn't. We were there 7 hours. As a consumer I know I have to take some ownership of the experience as well; however, I have a lot going on with my mothers health declining and being close to her death and trying to put my husband and I in a more comfortable position financially. Because of everything on my mind, I admit that I didn't go over all the details; however, neither did the sales person or the financial manager. The whole thing took so long that we were just ready to be done after the 7 hours knowing we still had 150 miles to drive home. Upon our arrival we were met outside and the truck we were purchasing was brought out for my husband to look at. Right away, my husband noticed damage that was not disclosed on their site regarding the truck which was significant, i.e., dents, rust, radio didn't work, lights didn't work inside. My husband didn't even take it for a drive, he just said he wasn't interested. Greg got into the truck and sped off. The sales manager then came out to speak with Brett to find out what they could do to make the sale. My husband told him on more than one occasion that he just wasn't interested. He went over all of his concerns and just his sheer dissatisfaction with the vehicle and the way it was presented online. After they spoke to him for several hours and looked for other trucks on their lot, they convinced him that they would make the repairs and asked if he would agree to take the truck if they fixed the issues. He reluctantly agreed. After already being there for 3 hours and dealing with the truck issues, they brought out the Beatle for me to see. We drove it and I was satisfied with the vehicle at that time (Greg did not go over the features of the vehicle at that time). We then went inside and sat down to start the process that ended up with us not leaving until closing time, a total of 7 hours which, by the end, felt like a long interrogation. The Toyota Tundra Limited was supposed to be a trade-in on the VW Beetle and I was supposed to be the primary owner. I was assured I was in a great position with the Tundra and would not have any negative equity on the deal due to the value and the amount owed. After waiting hours for the paperwork to be completed we finally went into the financing office to complete the paperwork with Brenda. I can say it was a fiasco at best. Paperwork was not gone over with us nor were the figures. She was answering phone calls from her daughter and text messages from her boyfriend, all while trying to get our contracts completed. I understand it's the consumers obligation to go over the contract as well; however, by the time we made it into financing we were exhausted. When the information wasn't gone over with us and with all the interruptions, we failed to say anything. After the paperwork was completed, the salesman Greg took me out to the VW Beatle to go over the features with me, at which time I found out that the vehicle wasn't fully loaded as he had stated nor did it have navigation which I wouldn't have noticed during the first look since the radio screen was large I never questioned it. After the 7 hour ordeal, not to mention the 5 hour drive there and back, we left feeling unexcited about what should have been an exciting day. On the drive home my husband found that his fears with the truck having issues were founded as the truck rattled all the way home. Once it reached a speed of 50 miles per hour he could hardly keep it on the road. This is something he wouldn't have known about the truck as he never test drove it. He was driven in the vehicle around the block, never exceeding 30 miles per hour. The following day was a blur as my mother is in bad health and close to death. We had other things on our mind that day so the contracts weren't even looked at until the following day. When I had a chance to sit down and add everything up and actually look at the figures I was hit hard with the lies and deceit that was thrown our way. While looking over the paperwork, Brenda happened to call to say that the contract for the VW Beetle needed to be re-written because VW would not allow it to go through with Brett on there as the primary which I had actually mentioned to Brett because he couldn't qualify as the primary on two vehicles. She said she tried to get VW to put it through but they wouldn't budge. At that time, I informed her of the issue with the truck and our desire to return it under their 3 day return policy, and that since the deal with the Beatle wasn't as discussed and the contract was, at this time, not valid, we wanted to return both vehicles. They didn't even pay off the Tundra as promised and only allowed 34,438.00 as a trade in allowance for a vehicle they now have listed for $42,999 because they claimed they wouldn't get 37,000 out of it. They then added the 3500.00 onto the loan and when I mentioned that I had been assured I would not have any negative equity they explained it away by stating the vehicle I was buying was retailed at $26,750.00 and since I was getting it at the sale price of $20,990.00 that I wasn't actually in negative equity. I reminded her that I had expressed to Greg that I didn't want to finance more than 20,000.00 because I was trying to keep our payment as low as possible. She started explaining to me that I didn't realize the features I had with that car and how I was actually benefiting from the offer they gave me. (That is not the point; I didn't care about the features of the vehicle, I wanted to keep our combined monthly payments as low as possible and even asked about a cheaper vehicle that was on the lot) Greg said that was the only car he could do the deal with. I then told her that Brett would be driving out again (another 300 mile round trip) to have the issues with the truck addressed. She said she would send him home with the new contract for us to sign with me as the primary because VW would not put the paperwork through the way it was - she had tried. After he made another trip into the dealership and returned home in a loaner car with the contract I called Brenda the next day to tell her we were just going to bring the Beetle back due to all the problems between what was promised and what was actually done, and the fact that there wasn't a valid contract anyway. She then threatened me stating that there were ways she could actually push the contract through and started providing excuses and reasons why they didn't pay off the Tundra as promised - because they had so much to work with due to the retail and the sale that even though they added the 3500.00 on I still paid less for the car than they could have charged. I told her we just wanted to return the vehicles and cancel the deal she told us to drive out so they could work something out. Again we made the 300 mile round trip journey to resolve the issues only to be disappointed again. Upon our arrival, we waited without being approached for about half an hour until Joe spoke with us. He took us into the financial office as Brenda was nowhere to be found and proceeded to tell us he couldn't do anything about the issues. He finally gave in to the issues with the truck, as there were many, and made an offer for a different truck that would increase the payment by a little. Due to the issues with the truck my husband had he decided to take the offer, and even though it still isn't ideal and the payment is higher than we were paying, we accepted. He then asked what I wanted in order to make right on the deal with the Beetle and I said I just wanted to give it back and wash my hands of the deal. He said he couldn't do that and again I went over all of the inconsistencies with the deal and the fact that they didn't even pay off my truck and only gave me $34,438.00 for a truck when they had told me they would pay off. He then replied that they had paid it off. I told him I was assured I would not have any negative amount added onto my loan for the Beetle but they had sneakily added 3500.00 onto my loan. They looked right at me and said I had no negative equity on my loan because it was actually worth more than the sale price so it was absorbed in the difference. These are all things that they twisted to fit the deal. They now have that truck on their lot listed at $42,999. I told him I would be happy if they would just take off the $3500.00 from the contract and I would sign the new contract with those terms or I would just give them the Beetle back. That's when he said he couldn't do anything for me and that after speaking with me Brenda called VW and pushed the contract through the way it was (which she stated she had tried to get them to do but they refused). This made me question what she said to get them to push it through. He then offered me a 500.00 gas card for my issue and said there was nothing more they could do for me. After they wrote up the new financing deal for the exchanged truck I found out why they pushed the paperwork through with VW. They knew the original truck deal was going to have a new contract written and they put me as the primary on the truck which is my husbands vehicle. When I told my husband that's how they were able to push through the Beetle financing, because now he is listed as the primary on my car and they wanted me to be the primary on his truck, he asked me to sign or he would be stuck with the truck that has so many issues because he wouldn't get financing on another vehicle since they pushed him through on the Beetle so I couldn't return it.April 10 2014 we get a call from Joe the manager at Dick Hannah VW asking what could be done to squash the issue we had at the dealership. After being on the phone nearly 45 minutes with Joe talking about how they treated us. Every suggestion that we suggested was dismissed and Joe said that there was nothing more he could do towards making the deal right. Therefore his call served no purpose at all as he didn't intend to do anything more. (Other than warranty work) I did tell Joe that the dealership could send me another key fob for my truck because the truck should have had 2 fobs to begin with, which it didn't when I purchased the truck. Our Prius and the Tundra came with 2 fobs each and we made sure that Dick Hannah VW got them. Dick Hannah did put in a purchase order for 1 replacement fob for my truck that I picked up at our local Chevrolet dealer. So when I mentioned to Joe he could get me another key fob, he said come by the dealership and he would fill out a purchase order for another fob.. So that would be another 5 hour round trip to get a key fob plus the expense of fuel. Well I am not going to drive 5 hour's and absorb fuel cost when all Dick Hannah has to do is call my local Chevrolet dealer with a purchase order to purchase another key fob for me to pick up just like they did for the first key fob.Another thing to mention is, We were able to trade the Beetle in at our local Toyota dealer to get away from the horrible experience at Dick Hannah VW.. The Toyota dealership was told how we were treated at Dick Hannah VW and they bent over backwards to help us get out of the Beetle.. We got into a 2015 Prius with navigation for the same money we owed on the Beetle. We did have to come up with a $1000 down though.(Joe doesn't believe us, but we have the contract to prove it) But it was worth every penny to get rid of the Beetle.Bottom line is Dick Hannah VW may offer you a great deal on a new vehicle. But they will definitely lie to you and stick it to you on your trade in!!!!

The staff at Dick Hannah VW was incredibly helpful when I came in as a first-time buyer. Every step of the process was explained and performed clearly and thoroughly. My salesman Javan was kind, empathetic, and very patient. There was no pressure, and every interaction I had with him and his colleagues was pleasant and professional. I felt less like I was being sold a car, and more like we were working together to find the right vehicle for me. I left the lights of my new '08 GTI on overnight and came out to a dead battery the same morning it was slated to go into the service center. I gave Javan a call and he showed up at my door with jumper cables! This guy is awesome, definitely would recommend. Additionally the financial staff was equally cool, very informative, and very accommodating. I'll be buying from this place again.

I recently took in our 09 Jetta TDI to check the engine light and since I was close to 60,000 miles asked to have that service as well. Pablo called my husband to let him know what the error code was and how much it would cost and when the car would be ready. At pickup all the services were complete and a recall service was also preformed. I was delighted that our car was also very nicely washed and vacuumed. I feel we had excellent service and really appreciated that Pablo communicated with us regarding the service. Excellent and friendly service by all team members. Thank you.

I know it's not the dealership but VW replaced my cam follower, cam and high pressure fuel pump on my 2006 GTI with 95,000 miles on it all free of charge thanks to a known issue. Way to step up VW and do whats right! Only disappointment was when i checked my car in they asked if i wanted a complementary vacuum and car wash. When i picked up the car, neither service was performed. If this would have been done, it would have been a great experience.

I recently turned in my old lease and purchased a certified pre-owned car from this dealership. I had tried using the dealership I had gotten my lease from but they were not able to help me with my needs. Dick Hannah VW was much more helpful and actually made buying a car pretty painless! Greg Foumal was the person I worked with while buying my car and he was great! He took the time to answer my questions, was quick to respond to my emails and calls and never made me feel like I wasn't his top priority, even though I may not have been. I ended up at the dealership late at night, and despite it being after hours Greg was there to help me and make it happen. I wouldn't normally recommend buying a car late at night, but these guys have it down. No pressure, no issues, just good helpful staff who made it easy. Thank you Greg and the Dick Hannah team!

When I purchased my 2015 GTI on October 31, 2014, I worked with Greg Foumal. My experience in dealing with Greg can only be scored positive with a triple A rating! Greg's performance was outstanding. He was calm, patient, knowledgeable, prompt in responding to my questions and addressing my worries. Made me feel a valuable customer until (and after) the last signature concluding the deal. Obviously, and from a customer standpoint, these qualities are expected from any salesman. Yet, Greg exceeded my expectation and he needs to be commanded for it. On this basis, I look forward to continuing interacting with Dick Hannah VW, first with its great service/maintenance shop, and who knows, may be in 2 to 3 years when it becomes time to think about changing my 2015 GTI for a 2017 or 2018 GTI model!The only "sad" note, and this has nothing to do with Greg's performance, was the loss of my Tire for Life option which I purchased with my 2012 GTI (and did not use), but was no longer available. In brief, and retrospectively, I should not have purchased this option, thus saving some precious pennies that I could have used for the purchase of the 2015 model. I recently took my 2012 VW Jetta in for a 40K service which was recomended by the dealer Dick Hannah. I had missed my first service which was just an oil change but I guess all services needed to be performed by the VW dealer in order to qualify for the tires for life. That's how they get out of honoring these gimmicks.Any how I asked many times before dropping my car of if the tires would be taken care of even though they were after market wheels and tires on the car. I was told by 3 people at the dealership it would be no problem and the service would include replacing the tires. They never asked me if I had all services performed they were only concerned about the 40k service which I had to pay for.Here's where it got sticky and almost turns into being a bad expreriance! My service writer Gary Pouliot called me and said my service was all done but the tires were denied because I missed the first service at 10k. Really! After asking 3 times if everything would be taken care of. I was on a long road trip and just paid another provider to change the oil which was the first service, an oil change. I told Gary that I was assured the tires would be taken care of or I would have just done this service on my own and bought the tires instead. Anyway afterwards a few attempts to denie the tires, split the cost of the tires Gary Pouliot stepped up and went to batt for me. He said he was new and he should have looked in the system to make sure there would be no reason for the tire claim to be denied. This review is leaning mostly towards the service department of Dick Hannah Volkswagen. Pablo Ulibarri treated us horrible from the start of our car having problems. We just bought our car on June 22nd. It's a 2010 Chrysler Sebring, low miles, & clean inside. We recently filed bankruptcy and knew we'd be signed up for higher interest rates & payments. That was something we were prepared for. My husband made sure that their Rewards/Customer Loyalty program (that you automatically get enrolled into) covered everything on the new car we just bought. He asked repeatedly in the Sales department that no matter what they'll cover any issue. Unfortunately, they didn't explain that only somethings were covered.Just the other day our alternator blew. My husband went into Dick Hannah to speak to the service department. Pablo kept walking away and taking care of other issues, telling him to hold on and also said he would have to call to see if we had extended warranty. This was after they gave us a Jetta service car to borrow while ours wasn't working. He didn't want to help us at that time, and had better things to do. Later that day we find out the cars alternator is not covered, we'd have to pay for the tow truck, and also the rental car. My husband was told that the car was going to be completely covered if anything was to go wrong. Pablo was no help - my husband called the sales department and they were able to pay for half of it, knowing how frustrated we were to have to go through this. When we went back in to pick up our car, Pablo was the one who helped us again. He had us come up to his counter. And then proceeded to walk off and speak into his walkie talkie, ignoring us. He had a bad attitude with us. A little about Pablo - He has never serviced a car in his life. And couldn't give me an answer on how long alternators usually last on a Chrysler Sebring. But said VW's last about 12 years. This we know since we once had a VW our self.A 2010 Chrysler, and the alternator goes out after 4 years? You would think a popular dealership like Dick Hannah would make sure all their cars were reliable. Or at least cover the car within the 90 days. I don't care that it's a used car. It's still new! With low miles. Our car was also not even detailed when we picked it up. We just bought a new car, put money down on it, trusted that it was reliable, and paid our first car payment all to find out we needed to fork more money out to it.I would not take my car to the service department their again. We are not 100% pleased with our purchase. I wish we would have gone elsewhere. Good people work at Acura of Portland or Nissan of Portland - Go check them out before you go here. We couldn't even speak to someone higher up than Pablo. Maybe he was scared that he would get in trouble for his horrible customer service. Who knows.

I took my car in for a check engine light and it had failed its emission test. Pablo Ulibarri quickly deduced the problem, contacted me with the details and took car of it right away. He was polite and funny, and explained the problem completely. I was impressed and appreciated his professionalism. Job well done! I'll be back.

My family has driven VW TDi for as long as there has been a TDi option. But I can honestly say I will never buy a VW again after the experience that I have had to endure dealing with Dicks. I wanted a TDi golf with a tech package in black or white. The first time I left, I paid a PREIMUM for a car that was not what they said. After flying back to ALASKA and looking closer at the owners manual it was not the option that I wanted (no tech package). Greg was a fast talker and he took me for a loop. So I returned the car (I had stored in Silverton... so it had a few hundred miles on it.) and they couldnt help me... but they could buy the car back for 8k less than what i purchased it for, and sell me one with 300 miles for a few thousand more.... I am still bitter and I would never wish this experience on anyone. This was my first new car purchase. I feel like I was walked over, taken advantage of. It has been a year since my "Lease" and I am still dealing with VW credit overcharging me for my taxes. Even though I pointed out where they are misinterpreting it and gave them the number to the nice folks in my borough tax division. They say they need it in writing before they can change anything with the tax collection. How much money are they taking by misunderstanding the tax laws? *** Just a little heads up, VW credit has no contact over the internet. NO e-mail, only phone calls and snail mail. If you really want a vw, (it is a nice car, I like my GREY golf TDi with Tech) DONT USE THESE GUYS... PLEASE... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE...

I had a situation that did not fit within the normal service parameters. Pablo helped me to talk to a manager and see to it that accommodations were made that provided honorable customer service. I now feel that I will always be taken care of and that my reasons for purchasing here were validated.

I bought a car back in November from Dick Hannah Volkswagen. This was my third car that I've bought from them. Even though I've had some good and not so good experiences with Dick Hannah, I thought I would give them another try. I was very divided. Steve was my salesman and he was amazing. Great customer service and he didn't make me feel pressured. In fact he tried to help me make an informed decision and give me all my options and the benefits of each choice. I ended up leasing a brand new Jetta. I was very impressed with everyone else too. From the finance team, to Rebecca Locke and Jason with Dick Hannah Insurance, the service people. Everyone was awesome. Safe to say they made up for all the bad experiences that I've had. Probably why I will continue to buy cars from Dick Hannah! I love my VW too! Thanks everyone for such a great car buying experience!

Worst dealership I've ever dealt with. Forced into signing a document how "speedy" they were and when the survey came out, we were urged to falsify information so the company would not get bad reviews. Salesman stated, "we will make it worth your while to give us excellent reviews. If you feel you can't, call us before you submit the survey and we will work something out." After 3 weeks we are still being harassed by the dealership saying they "can't find funding." They were sure eager to take our trade and our deposit money though! They have yet to follow through with any of their promises. If this is how they do business, I would urge anyone lookng for a vehicle to look elsewhere.

First positive car buying experience I have had. Bought a car from them last week. Our sales person was Tara McCoy (definitely work with her if you have the chance). Tara was went above and beyond, even though we were in the market for a used car. When they did not have exactly what we were looking for Tara drove us to one of their lots in Washington. End result we got exactly what we wanted, and Tara answered all of our questions thoroughly. Tara went above and beyond and was very pleasant to work with.

The service department addressed all of our concerns! We were not able to get our iphone connected but it seems to be an ATT problem. They were helpful in our transportation to and from the dealership which was critical! Great follow up!

Let me tell you, a couple days ago I left a scathing review of the DH VW Service department. Due to a total lack of communication on their part (sorry guys) I wasn't told my car was going out of town for it's work, this accounts for the miles. And depending on the time of day she went there and returned they were hit by rush hour, stop and go, traffic, which would account for the gas consumption. There is no reason I shouldn't have assumed the work was being done at the dealership. BTW, against my wishes, Dick Hannah VW - Vancouver is sending me a gas card for way over what I was missing. Oh and BTW, my salesman contacted me and gave me all this information that he had found out for me. I understand he's not a salesman any more due to a promotion, but I'll tell you who he is anyway, it's Carl Campbell. Carl spent a month and a half emailing back and forth while I was researching which vehicle I wanted. I flipped; I flopped; I was decided; I was undecided; I was decided again. And I couldn't just email what I wanted or was going to do, he got a novel explaining WHY. But he stuck with me and we formed a relationship that will go beyond this purchase. He didn't even like the % rate my credit union was offering me and found a better rate for me...2.49% Vs. 2.25%!! Dealing with Carl was like sitting down to coffee with an old friend and discussing a car I'm interested in. Then there is Andrea Nelson, DH's Allstate agent, I had been with my most recent insurance company almost 10 years and she still offered me a lower premium. Not only that, she found 10 discounts totaling over $400. for me. I've switched over my car and renter's insurance to Allstate now. Andrea is another pleasure to deal with. She treats you like an old friend. And bless her heart, she put a lot of energy into researching a couple more insurance options I was interested in. I would give this Dick Hannah a 10 out of 10. I will be brief: (a) A job that was supposed to take 1 1/2 days took 4. (b) In one breath was told the tire they replaced should have cost me $141; in the next breath said it was replaced under warranty. (c) My car had 3/4 tank of gas when I dropped it off; less than 1/2 when I picked her up. (d) the trip meter was reset to zero before I picked up my car (who was concerned with that???!!!) but it appears there are 100 extra miles on the odometer. And they have the nerve to think I'll bring her back for her first service appointment. Dick Hannah Vancouver will never get any more of my time.

Adam was helpful from start to finish. He got me checked in right away, explained what he would be doing and asked if I had any concerns. He was professional, friendly and answered all of my questions. He let me know when my next service would need to be scheduled. And I left the lot with a freshly hand-washed car. The waiting area was clean and had hot coffee waiting for me. I love Dick Hannah Volkswagen.

Barbie Torgeson did an amazing job following up on my interest in a VW Beetle convertible. The sales people I met when I visited the dealership were off when I had additional questions to ask so she stepped in and closed the deal on what might have ended up as a "no sale." She was very attentive to detail, listened closely to what I wanted (and didn't want) and made sure the dealership delivered on my interests. She was willing to talk with me via e-mail, which is my preference vs. face-to-face multiple visits, to respond to questions and negotiate the deal. A great experience!

I came in for a scheduled meeting with Greg to test drive a 2011 Volkswagen Touraeg. He was very knowledge about the car and what it had to offer. It is a company car and we were working on a tight budget for the quality of car we wanted. Greg was able to help us meet a mutual agreement on the car price and our monthly payments. Another bonus of purchasing it through Dick Hannah is the customer loyalty program. I'm very happy with the purchase so far and expect I will continue to be.

I drove a long ways from Winnemucca Nevada to do business with Dick Hannahs VW dealership mostly because of the great price I was quoted for my new 2013 VW Jetta . I was a bit anxious at the time it took to complete the transaction due to the 11 hour drive ..in the rain..ahead of me. But overall I was quite pleased with the friendliness and competence I observed. It was a good experience and I would recommend the dealership to anyone.

This entire car buying process has been in short: frustrating. There was a communication breakdown between sales, managers, finance, and parts. We emailed the online sales rep Greg Foumal with the date/time for purchase and delivery after online price negotiations. Greg Foumal replied and said, My manager Jay Thomas will be here and he can take care of you He has all the info. Upon arrival, the manager Jay had no idea we were coming and questioned the price we were presented. From there we were asked to wait over two hours to be next in queue for financing. Therefore, we left to have dinner and came back after that window was up. Even then it took over an hour after arriving the second time to complete finance paperwork- despite being preapproved through OnPoint. We were left wonderingwhy even bother setting an appointment? We requested the upgraded monster mats at wholesale price with the new car sale. At the time our onsite salesperson Josh Naumcheff said no problem. When we came back to pick up the mats later that week- parts initially refused to give us the mats for the price sales quoted by Josh. Furthermore they gave us the incorrect version of mat. Later we discovered that the finance manager failed to complete all the necessary paperwork at the time of sale and requested we come back to finish the required forms. To sum it up: 2 trips to wait for financing to purchase the car, 2 trips to fix problems with the paperwork that occurred AFTER financing, and 2 trips to pickup/swap out floor mats. We gave Dick Hannah VW the chance to right these mistakes prior to writing this review, by asking for a tank of gas to compensate us for time/mileage lost. They did not honor this simple request. In short: the price was right... but in the end not worth all the hassles. By comparison, I happened to walk into the Auburn Seattle VW dealership to look at a new TDI Sportwagen. With no notice or appointment, I was able to obtain the car for a cheaper price that DK presented, secure VW promo financing for 66mo, and walk out the door in less than 45 minutes. No hassles, just good straightforward people. Highly recommend this Auburn dealership to anyone in the market for a VW. (And no... I do not work for Auburn)

I came into Dick Hannah VW to purchase a new car. My previous car had blown the motor the day before. Being somewhat time crunched, I was in need of a new car within the next few days. After driving many different cars and visiting many different dealerships the next day, I came back to Dick Hannah VW, and to Josh Naumcheff to purchase my new car. Josh has a certain easy going (no hard push) sales approach that I liked very much, and was comfortable with. He answered all my questions and even went to their Portland location to pick up the specific car I wanted. Josh showed me, and my wife, all the amenities that new GTI came with. He even sync'd my iPhone for me! I can without a doubt say this was the easiest car purchase that I have made. Not all the sales people I dealt with while looking for a new car were as easy going and competent as Josh, which made my choice even easier - to go back to Dick Hannah VW in Vancouver WA and purchase my car from Josh.

Josh came out and was very knowledgeable on every aspect of the Jetta we bought. He even paired up our phones to the car and showed us every control and how it operated. Even showed us how to open and close the windows using the door key in the key lock. Pretty cool stuff, we are happy with the car it will work well for us. Thanks to Dick Hannah team, witch was very patient as we watched the Seahawks beat the Redskins. The only negative I have to say (and say this about every car dealer) is i wish you could make a car deal in under 5 hours. I,m thinking 45 minutes is the time to shoot for. It's been over 14 years since we bought a brand new car. I'm sooooo happy we chose Dick Hannah. I had started a deal with Armstrong and decided to make a call to see if Dick Hannah could meet of beat the deal Armstrong made. Not only did they beat the deal....we got a better deal on the Jetta Sportswagen TDI, with all the bells and whistle. The other dealer did not have the Navi package. Our salesman Jeremy Z was incredible. He worked and was so patient with us, that we never once felt PUSHED to make the deal. We were set on a payment....end of story. Not only did we get that, we got the TDI with Navi. Everyone we dealt with were incredibly professional, helpful. and what we refer to as "real people". Never once did we get that "just another dealer" feeling. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jeremy Z. for STAYING sooooo late (more then once) and making everything happen for us. You're not "just another salesman"! You're genuine and real. Thank you for making things happen for my mom....I haven't seen her this happy in years. You truly understood her finances, fear of financing, and without your EXTRA going to bat for her.....she would not be in a new SAFE car. What a wonderful new car buying experience with Dick Hannah dealership and our salesman Jeremy Zaske. It started with a simple call on a cost comparison (thank you Jeremy M.) with another dealer asking if they could beat the payment on the car we were looking at. Not only did they beat it....but we got the 2013 Jetta Sportswagen TDI with Navi....at the same price! Jeremy worked so hard for us to get what we wanted (and more), and we never felt the pain (you know the one where they go back and fourth until you get what you want!) He worked way past his time and we still left (without the car) with the promise we'd be back. How many dealers/salesmen would let you walk out the door assuming you'd come back.We set up our time and my husband made it clear....we just want to sign papers, and pick up the car. It was the longest day of my life and Jeremy was astute to pick up on that. He called me a couple time that day and asked if I was excited! We hadn't bought a new car in over 14 years. So, yes....I was very excited.When we got there, our car was washed, tank filled, and paperwork ready to go. Jeremy made sure we had everything we needed.....including coffee and cookies! It took us no time to do the paper work and off I went in my BRAND NEW car with all the bells and whistles!The atmosphere in the Dick Hannah dealership is obviously one of a happy, team work, and fun feeling. That in its own is impressive. I would highly recommend (and have) anyone who's looking to purchase one of the best cars on the planet (a VW) to go to a Dick Hannah dealership...especially the one in Portland.To many good deals to mention in this review....go and experience it yourselves! I have been to dealerships before in the past, and always felt an overwhelming sense of being pressured and manipulated into purchasing a vehicle that wasn't what I was looking for. The first time I worked with Scotty, I had an experience unlike the rest. He took the time to understand my needs and my desires in a vehicle, and did everything possible to find me something that encompassed both. He understands people, and doesn't view them as "another customer" when they walk through the door. You genuinely feel he truly wants to help you find what you are looking for the best he can. I had worked with Scotty before in the past, and thought maybe this was a one time "luck of the draw", but upon returning again, I was greeted with the same smile and generosity as before. He is a true and honest individual, and I would recommend anyone who has an apprehension about going to a dealership to work with Scotty and see how much he can change your perception. You will not be disappointed!

The salesman was awesome and so was the price! There were 2 two inch long scratches on the passenger door. I noticed it after the sale was over. The salesman was awesome and took it to the detail department for a buff. I thought the scratches were gone, but they are not, overall I am not very happy about that. I would recommend a complete checkout before purchase, DO NOT assume everything is good to go ahead of time. The salesman was awesome but I would not purchase from Dick Hannah again.

Josh Naumcheff was awesome and so was the price! Unfortunately there were (2) two inch scratches on the passenger door that I noticed walking around the car after the sale was over but before I left the dealer. Josh was awesome and took it to the detail department for a buff and I thought the scratches were gone, but they are not. I am not happy about the scratches on a brand new car, I feel this should have been caught and repaired by the detail department before the car was delivered. If you decide to purchase from this dealer I recommend you completely checkout the car before you sign the paperwork. DO NOT assume everything is good with your vehicle ahead of time. Josh was awesome during the whole process and explained many of the features of my new Golf to me. Due to the lack of attention and preparation during delivery I would not purchase from Dick Hannah again.

The entire staff was extremely polite, professional, and willing to work with us. We asked for several ( 8 or more) sets of numbers to look at financing and they did it without complaint. It was a little unusual the way the price was listed, but in a good way. I liked not having to haggle over the price of the vehicle. I was concerned whn Samantha said she could not come down on the price, but appreciated her taking the time to expain to us why she could not. We test drove two vehicles that day and she stuck with us through the whole thing. We were at the dealer about four hours, but Sam made it enjoyable. Would highly reccomend Dick Hannah dealers to anyone. I do not enjoy shopping for cars, but the people of Dick Hannah made it worthwhile and as pain-free as possible.

Working with Dave was a great experience. He was a friendly and easy going consultant. Usually you run into pushy sales that want you to buy their way but with Dave it was different. He actually listened to what we had to say and work hard to get what we were looking for. Dave was also understanding to our situation so that in itself made the time well spent. I have already recommended him to some of my friends. He also delivered my spare set of keys to my house instead of making me go back to the dealership. The dealership as a whole was pleasant, clean and the staff was friendly. We have another vehicle to change in the near future and will for sure go back to see if Dave can help.

I went in to check out the car and see if I fit (I'm 6'4 and it is a problem for a lot of cars). My old car was getting old and needed to be replaced. I was ready to buy but was not interested in being forced into a car or hyped into a car that I would feel bad about the next day. I have been to several dealerships and it seams every time I go it's the same old thing. "Look at this car", "Let's test drive it (even though I am really not that interested yet)", "What would it take to get you into this car today". This was NOT one of those experiences. Hamzah greeted us as we arrived at the dealership. We asked him about the Jetta and let him know why we were there. Hamzah showed us exactly what we asked for and sowed us some other options just so we could get a feel for it. Never once did we feel pressured to take a test drive and enter the "Death Spiral at the Dealership". After looking at more that our fair share of the same model cars with slightly different variations we decided to drive one. Again I have been on a few test drives at other dealerships and it is funny because the work so hard to get you to take the test drive and then they take you on a 5 minute spin around the block and call it good and are convinced you are going to buy the car after that and the pressure begins. Never mind that you haven't driven the car on the freeway, on boulevards, in any kind of traffic, parked it reversed or anything beyond driving it through some suburban neighborhood at a max of 35 MPH with no hills or any real driving, if you do want to take it on a more through test drive the salesman looks annoyed especialy if you aren't planning on buy that day (As if I will come back after that?). Again this was NOT that kind of experience. Hamza let us drive it in all of the conditions we wanted to. Me "Can we take it on the freeway/bulavrd/park it/etc.?" Hamzah "Sure take it wherever you want, take as long as you like, I want you to test this car in every way you would like to." He didn't seam annoyed to be in the car during this extended test drive, he answered all of our questions and most importantly when he didn't know something (which was rare) he was not afraid to let us know he was not sure. Once we decided to buy our car the purchase process was not bad. They list there prices and that's that. You don't have to argue price with them. They give you their best offer and the get go. They worked financing through the bank I chose and it was simple. The price was not some phenomenal deal rather it is what I would expect to pay for the car given the research I did (Hence the 3 ratting). What was great is I didn't have to fight to get it to that level. That is where it started. It took a little while to get everything prepared for us to sign (Faster than other dealerships I have been at but still a little bit) and they we were good to go. After that Hamza showed us all of the new features helped us setup our NAV and stereo and even took my wife on a test drive in another car (even though she was almost certainly not going to buy a car then just so she could get a feel for future reference). We love our new car. So much we are considering another one for my wife next year. If we do we will actively seek out Hamzah as he was that fantastic.

Cliff was great to work with...best babysitter we've had since we were about 9!!! He went up to Seattle to get our car on his day off as well as cleaned and detailed it himself when he got back. We thought that was really going above and beyond what we expected. We actually enjoyed our day at Hannah Volkswagen; maybe that's why this is the 4th car we've bought there. Cliff should be commended for a great job! We love our car!

My experience buying a used car from Scotty Hiltz at Dick Hannah Volkswagen exceeded my expectations on every level. I've had a few less-than-good experiences buying used cars in the past, so I spent a lot of time researching where to go when looking to buy my next car. I purchased a 2012 VW Jetta Sportwagen from Dick Hannah VW last week and I have to say that I don't think I've ever had a better car buying experience. They were easy to work with from the beginning--fast to respond, great prices, easy financing and the best selection in the state. No compromising--just a fair deal for both parties. None of that back and forth bargaining and non-sense. We exchanged two emails and one phone call and that was all it took to get a deal we were both satisfied with. Everyone there was really great: professional, knowledgable, and they also have a loyalty program perk going on to get you a set of tires if you service your new car at one of their dealers which is a pretty serious savings. I had an appointment to meet with Greg to test drive a used Volvo my husband had found online. I showed up a bit early and was greeted by several guys by the front door. Everyone was friendly and casual which I appreciated. Greg was easy to talk to and answered all of my questions completely and honestly. He was very helpful in securing financing for my new car and even had it cleaned while I was taking care of the paperwork. He didn't push anything that I didn't want. We buy many cars, probably one every two years. I have never had a better sales experience. Samantha was great. She was honest, easy to work with, responded in a very timely and got us a great deal. She didn't haggle us like most car salesmen and I didn't ever feel like I was being "worked over," lied to, or swindled. Likewise, her manager Travis and the financial person Marianne were great as well. I would absolutely send business to Samantha and would consider doing another deal with her in the future.

This car dealer went over and beyond to help me get a different car. There was lots of credit challenges for them to get financing for my car. They stuck with me through the whole process. They worked many hours looking for a bank to finance me. They also kept me informed about the progress as it went on. I was so happy to have such a great team of sales people working in my behalf. They were not trying to sell me just any car they were trying to get me into a car that I could afford with my financial restraints.

Josh researched the model that I was looking for and got back to me in literally 3 minutes. He also made his schedule work with the time that I had open on a Saturday. After the test drive and deciding on the car, Josh explained financing options (with no pressure) and even set up my iPhone to work with my car. I found his approach to new car sales to be honest, genuine, and friendly which made my buying my Passat a breeze.

Greg was great with the test drive and service after the sale. The one frustration we had was that we came in based on a newspaper ad for a lease special at a specific price. We were told twice on the phone by two different people that the deal was still valid. There was still negotiating and what felt like the same old game playing that goes on when it came time to sign paperwork. In the end, we got a fair deal and were pleased. Too bad we had to go through the hassle to get there. We know Greg was doing hes job to the best of his ability to satisfy us and whoever he had to keep negotiating with in the other room. We were very happy with his customer service!

I got in touch with Greg because I was looking for a new VW Beetle. Either that or a Kia Soul. Unfortunately for him, I went with the Soul, but what impressed me the most about Greg was the fact that he stayed with me the ENTIRE time I was there. I hate buying cars and he knew it. I made that very clear to him from the get-go. I compared car shopping to taking a bullet to the head. That's how much I hate buying cars. I was experiencing major anxiety about taking on a payment (I hadn't had a car payment in 6 years) and should I/shouldn't I. The list goes on & on. He never left. He sat and talked and hung around while I whined and freaked out. My hat is off to him! What a trooper! He totally could have left. He's a VW man and I went with a Kia. But he didn't and that was very very impressive to me. He wasn't high pressure, he was just way cool. I would recommend him to anyone I know who's in the market for a VW! Just don't do what I did and go with a Kia, LOL! That's not really fair to him! If you want a Kia they were right next door and also very good, and I LOVE my new Soul! The ratings I gave on this particular visit were all 5's because Josh really did everything that I was expecting and more. Test drove a few cars and he never strayed away from the car that I went in to come see. Josh took the time to go over all the features that the car had to offer. He was patient thru the whole buying experience. I never felt pressured or un easy. Made the process smooth and enjoyable. Will be a returning customer. Went in to purchase a new VW, and I should of walked out once I saw them pull out the 4-square sales sheet. But since I was there I figure I would spend a few moments attempting to haggle them down using that annoying sales tactic. Few hours later, and getting the feeling the sales manager was getting angry I proceeded to walk out. If you do chose this dealership I highly recommend researching everything on pricing, and coming with your own financing set up from Bank/Credit Union. One note though, the sales consultant was very friendly and patient so I gave them a three on friendliness, and customer service. Overall I would not return here, and I was able to get the car I wanted for 100 under invoice at another dealership within 3 mins of calling.

Horrible experience that would prevent me from returning or recommending this dealership to anyone I wanted to remain friends with. A horribly disappointing experience that seemed more like an episode of the Twilight Zone than an actual car purchasing experience. I would avoid this dealership at all costs. There are lots of higher rated more reputable dealers in the area to choose from.

They have HORRIBLE service and RUDE sales staff. They damaged my car installing the clear cover protector-which they improperly installed THREE times-and never offered to compensate or fix the damages. Also, when I was in the process of purchasing this vehicle, the sales manager talked down to me, yelled at me, and was more than just rude. I wish I would have walked out the door. The name describes the attitude of their staff.

Purchased my car 2011 Volkswagen Tiguan from Dick Hannah Volkswagen. Worst mistake I have EVER made. From the start, they did a HORRIBLE job putting the clear cover protector on my hood (Durashield). It started peeling off almost immediately and wasn't cut straight. After the THIRD time, driving from Eugene to Vancouver, WA. to the dealership, they did a decent job. After I washed my car the next day, I noticed a thin razor scratch where the previous Durashield was put on the hood. They said they would compensate me for my time and troubles by tinting my windows and putting on a tow hitch. When I came up to have the 6,000 mile service done, they somehow completely forgot about the agreement they made to me and gave me the runaround. I asked to speak to their manager, explained my situation (for the 5th time), and said he would look into it. By then, the service department was closed and I could not pick of my vehicle until the following day. I regret EVER stepping foot into that dealership. I don't plan on even getting my vehicle serviced from them again. Buyer beware. Most of the good reviews that are given for this dealership are most likely fake as well. A year or two ago, the Dick Hannah service dept included people like Phi and Ryan. When they left, the department fell into shambles. From everything being explained fully and comfortably, including what services could wait, it has turned into a couple a nervous looking (and acting) service people that barely say a few sentences about what's going on, all the while expecting a Yes or No without advising you on anything. The price on services continue to go up. Cross over to the competing VW dealers in Oregon, and their service prices are less - at times, a lot less. The "world class inspection" seems is mostly a gimmick to make it seem like you're getting something special. You're not. Included in the vast array of items they busily inspect: "Measure right front tire tread depth," "Measure left front tire tread depth," "Measure left rear tire tread depth," "Measure right rear tire tread depth," and, of course, "Measure overall tire wear and condition." And that's not the only time they enumerate everything (and then repeat it) to attempt to show how much they're doing. For you. For free.My car even passed the "Check windshield and glass for cracks, chips, and pitting." Except, my windshield has two cracks in it; one is visible at at angle, the other is lower near the dash, and is perfectly visible - if you look. Second time in a row I've passed that test.So lets see: bad service from people that don't like to talk, high prices, and inspections that are to toot their own horn instead of actually inspect a car... After I use my little "bonus points" (you get rewards points for being "loyal" - or stupid, depending on your view), this will be my last time using this dealership. Which is somewhat of a shame, as I've been going there for about 4 year now.

But throughout the last year we have had nothing but excellent service and I highly believe it has everything to do with the right people to work with to make your experience awesome and the two I would recommend if you go to Volkswagon dealership is ask for DAVE OR CORT They are to amazing people to work with and the finance lady is sooo funny we were laughing and having a great time with her made it a fun experience!!! :)

After buying about 12 different cars from dealerships, I can say without any hesitation this was by far the worst dealership experience I have EVER had in my life. I can't emphasize enough how shady their business practices are, but I will try to explain here what my wife and I experiences.Everything went fairly okay, and as expected for a dealership, until negotiations started. They did the normal leave you for 20 minutes "while I talk to my manager" stuff over and over, but that's to be expected from most dealerships. We finally came to an agreement on a lease with VW of America on a new Passat that although was expensive, our situation warranted it to a degree.Here's where it got just flagrantly bad.First, during final paperwork it was made very clear, no, CRYSTAL clear, that we could ONLY make the purchase if we bought an extended warranty from their company. Now make no mistake, it is NEVER required by a lender, especially VW of America, that you have to buy the warranty to make the deal.Second, the dealership flat out LIED when they told my wife and I that VW of America does NOT sell extended warranties for their new vehicles. This sounded fishy, but considering they told me I had to buy their extended warranty from the company that they use. I contacted VW of America the next day and verified that VW does in fact sell extended warranties, you just have to go to a different dealership because Dick Hannah VW is not authorized to sell them.Third, after have the car for two days, they contacted us back and said unless we came up with another $4800 (yes, four thousand eight-hundred) then we could not keep the car. This was on a lease mind you. We told them we would not give them any more money from what we already gave them so they demanded the car back. My wife asked them if they could sell us something else, even a used car, and they said no.Fourth, we brought the car back, signed paperwork saying it was returned and left. No exaggeration, they treated my wife like absolute garbage. They ignored her and acted like she was tainted by some disease or something. We ended up going straight to Dick Hannah Kia to see if someone there would work with us since I assumed that another Hannah dealership could work with us since they have such a large inventory and wouldn't need to pull all of our paperwork again and we really wanted a newer vehicle. By the way, please see my Dick Hannah Kia review as they were absolutely INCREDIBLE in work with us right away with complete professionalism and genuine kindness.Fifth, when we went to Dick Hannah Kia, and I am not joking, VW tried for several days to completely refuse to turn our down payment over to Kia even though it's owned by the same company! Not joking, they REFUSED to turn our down payment over to Kia.Sixth, two days after we returned the Passat, Alex from VW called and said we damaged the car and needed to pay to repair it. Guess how much the repair was? Remember the down payment they refused to turn over to Kia? That's right, they wanted EXACTLY the same amount of money to repair the so-called damage from the Passat we turned in! We told them we'd be there right away to inspect. Upon arrival, Alex showed us the car and there was some obvious damage to the front of the car, but the funny part is when I looked at the odometer there was 12 miles added to the car since we turned it in. We asked them where they drove the car and Alex had the gall to say it was "only" driven to be detailed which is literally about 300 yards away. Of course, the paperwork that we signed when returning the vehicle showed no such damage to the car. More on that in a moment.Seventh, Kia needed some release paperwork from VW (both owned by Dick Hannah) but VW told Kia they couldn't have the paperwork. So my wife went back to VW and demanded the papers, of course VW tried saying it would take two days for it, but she didn't give up. They then started playing silly games with her, like telling her to go to the finance office to get the papers where the lights conveniently turned off on her way there (only one door to the room) and my wife refused to leave until miraculously the lights turned back on and someone was in there... When they have my wife the release papers, no joking, someone had tried crossing out dates and other important information to alter the paperwork.This dealership is SOOOOO unbelievably dishonest and shady. Stay away at all costs. Oddly enough, I've always had good experiences with Dick Hannah Honda and Dick Hannah Kia, and upon going to Dick Hannah Kia they were shocked by our treatment and treated us like the most values customers that ever walked through their doors. I also found out that any salesperson from any Dick Hannah lot can sell you a car, used or new, from another lot. Therefore, if you want a REALLY good sales experience, skip VW and just go down to Dick Hannah Kia and they will be happy to help you at any lot.

Went in to get a 2nd flip key made for my 2003 VR6 and I was late and Ryan was real cool about it. From the time i made the appt to the appt time everyone was great. it took less time than what was originally told it would take. Ryan asked to wash and vacuum out my car for me. Which i thought was great. But was a little disappointed when neither of those were done, but hey it was the thought that counts.

I recently took my 2007 Jetta back to Dick Hannah for the 50,000 mile service. These customer service people are awesome! Ryan was assigned to me but since he was busy, another service rep (I wish I could remember her name - sorry!) stepped right in and offered to start my car's paperwork. They answer all my questions and never talk down to me as if I should know all about my car's inner workings. They gave me a copy of the sheet with all the various lights that I may see on my dashboard so I don't have to spend my time frantically thumbing through the owners manual to find out what's wrong.

I purchased my 05 VW Golf TDI from Dick Hannah used, and I bring it back there for any service it needs. I brought it in last time because I had hit a chunk of tire on the highway and had knocked loose some plastic covers under the engine. They were dragging and generally making the car less pleasant to drive.When calling for an appointment, they were very understanding of different schedules/needs and offered shuttle service if the repairs would take too long. The repair ending up taking slightly longer than expected, but the technician informed me of the new time estimate and of how much it would cost before proceeding.The performed work was superb, there is no more dragging sound, and I hopefully won't need to take it back until its next scheduled service in 10,000 miles. But if it does need service before then, I won't hesitate to bring it back there.

I have been to the dealership a number of times for service and very pleased every time. They listen to my concerns and check everything out to my complete satisfaction. This time, it was a noise that turned out to be tire wear and they replaced my tires FREE, as they told me they would do, which is a wonderful benefit. The car now drives beautifully and the noise is gone. I could not be happier! They even washed my car!!

I am always satisfied with Dick Hannah. The service is great, and I never feel like I'm getting ripped off. I think the pricing is reasonable and fair. Its definitely less expensive than other dealerships I've gone to. When I have an issue they identify it and fix it. I only take my car here.

Really, it isn't top on my list of fun things to do, but Phi's friendliness and the conventience of the customer waiting area make it very pleasant. An all around good experience.

Gloria was nice on the phone. She got us in that day and I didn't expect to get in so fast. We had 2 headlights replaced and oil change for under 100 dollars so that seemed good. Headlights work and they washed the car. We got a phone call when they were done and a quick in and out. Gloria was nice.

My car was leaking oil badly on the Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend. I called about 10:00am and they were able to get me in for a 12:45 appointment. The service area was jammed and crazy but they let me check my car in early to work around my weekend plans. They called throughout the day to let me know what they had found and what I work I wanted to proceed with. They had my car washed, as always, and ready to go at 6:00 as promised.

I am so pleased with the service that I have received from Dick Hannah. My check engine light had come on while on my way to work. I called the service department and Kimberly was so helpful and kind. She made me an appointment within the hour. I arrived for my appointment that was to be with Josh. He greeted me with a smile and made me feel like he really cared about my concerns with my car. He was very professional and knowledgable while dealing with all of my questions. I left my car there with him feeling very confident.Very soon after leaving , Josh called me with the outcome of the problem. I picked my car up a few hours later in good as new condition. I really feel that Josh should be commended. I appreciated the personal attention and concern that he showed in my situation. I will definetely bring my car back to him when the need arises. Trust does matter.

Ryan and all of the staff were extremely professional and helpful and the waiting area was comfortable and quiet. I appreciated having the option of getting a shuttle somewhere or working via the free internet.

They make sure I understand what work is to be done and when it will be ready. They have a shuttle that will take me to work and then come get me when the work is done. Phi, the service girl, was honest, pleasant and professional. No talking down, no pressure! It also cost considerably less than I ever expected a dealership trip could cost. They explained all work performed and were right on time. I can't stress enough how much I would recommend this over the shoddy "European auto" places that you find elsewhere in Vancouver.Added bonus: You can schedule online and get a breakdown of costs, and a representative will call you to confirm the appointment. They'll also call to remind you of the appointment the day before and ensure you have no additional questions. A great system for forgetful folk like me!

I never leave there unsatisfied with their service department, I drive an extra fifteen minutes each way past a VW dealer in Portland to get my car worked on by their people. Very friendly service personnel, were on time and completed work in the time frame promised. They made recommendations and addressed additional concerns I had with my vehicle. Waiting area was comfortable and clean with cookies and beverages available. My car was washed and waiting at the front door when work was completed.

They also promised that the car would be ready at 11:30 even though some additional service was requested. At exactly 11:30 I got a call that my car was ready and I was on my way. Josh did an outstanding job. He went above and beyond what he could have done. The part that was defective in our clutch was not covered, but without even being asked he called the warranty people at VW and got it covered. He saved us over $2000 by doing so. Josh is the best.

My passenger headlight was out on my bug-a-boo. Calling to make the appointment was quick, with many different times to choose from. When we arrived Josh met us with a smile and even remembered my name. He listened to my issues, checked things out on my beetle, and let me know the headlight was covered under my warranty. One of the issues Josh fixed right on the spot was the windshield washer. It was squirting over the top of the car and Josh adjusted it. He told us how long it was going to take and made sure we didn't need a ride anywhere. We elected to walk and have breakfast. When we came back to pick up the car it was washed and ready to go. It had a spot of pitch on the side that Josh was already in process of cleaning. His friendly attitude and great personality is a nice change to most automotive shops. Thank you Josh and mechanics.

The headlight was out on my VW Bug and I didn't even know that was an Under Warranty item. Thanks to the great service rep, I was able to replace my bulb for free. He explained everything easily to me, told me how long it would be for the service to be complete, showed me where the waiting room was, gave me updates during my wait, and personally escorted me back to my car when it was ready. Very polite personnel. What a welcomed change. Awesome group!

Scheduled appointment via the internet. Arrived at the appointed time and drove right up to the service writers work station. I was impressed by the service writers interest in making this visit a good one. All my concerns and questions about this service appointment were thoroughly reviewed and documented to my satisfaction. Only then was the button pressed and the papers printed. Because of the service time required, they gave me a ride home and picked me up in the afternoon when the car was ready. It was serviced, washed and ready to go when I returned. I have taken a lot of cars to a lot of dealerships over a lot of years and had a lot of problems. Not today. When the day was over and my car in the garage, I was still happy. Wow!

I have had my car in for service a few times for minor problems. Everything was covered under warranty. Ryan was a great help in getting a new tire for my car. At first I was going to need 4 new tires but he was able to find a company that "shaved" the tires to match the tred. It was a huge cost saver for me since the rest of my tires were still in really good shape. I will for sure being going back again!

I received a phone call from Dick Hannah VW regarding a recall for my 2001 Jetta. I set up an appointment over the phone. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and introduced to Phi, who assisted me. Phi was wonderful to work with, very courteous and professional. When my car was finished, she sat with me and went over a "check up" that had been performed. She informed me of a couple of maintenance items that were due, but was not pushy with me at all (which I appreciated). Overall, everyone I dealt with, from scheduling to the actual service appointment, were outstanding!!

Excellent customer service. I was having trouble with my transmission on my 2008 Volkswagen Jetta. I took a drive with the technician and he noted the problem immediately. The following Monday I brought my vehicle in to have my transmission worked on, in the meantime I was offered a loaner car to use until my car was ready to pick up. Phe and Ryan were very professional and courteous to work with. The work was done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. I would recommend Dick Hannah to anyone thinking about purchasing a new or used vehicle. They will take very good care of you.

I called my Service friend Josh at 8:30PM on a sunday in panic mode about the engine light on and my car skipping. He assured me he knew what it was and it was most likely covered under a recall. He said I could drive it in and it wouldnt ruin my engine. Had I called a tow truck and drove to the closest shop, I would of spent so much money finding out the problem and alot of stress!!!!Thanks to my friend I slept peacefully and was taken care of within 24hr back on the road again with no worries.

We had been servicing our 2008 Touareg V-10 TDI at Herzog in Beaverton and decided to try Hannah VW - WOW what a difference. The service people understood the uniqueness of my vehicle and were up front about the pricing difference between my SUV and a regular Touareg and they were able to get the parts needed WAY faster. The service people at Hannah are very attentive and accurate. I am very pleased to have a local dealer that can service my V-10 Touareg and I don't have to go across those bridges!

I came to Dick Hannah VW after having a terrible experience at Armstrong VW. Abby helped from the first moment by listening and offering immediately to do whatever she could to repair my car. My car was diagnosed, repaired and ready to go in 2 days time, and Josh explained the full process in terms that made sense to me. I live in Portland but will be driving to Dick Hannnah for all my VW needs from now on.

My check engine light came on for the first time since purchasing my vehicle a year and a half ago. I called in and scheduled an appointment, and with prompt service from the customer service rep was able to get in within 15 mins. i drove up my car and waited for only an hour before my car was finished in service and a resolution to the problem had been found. i am very pleased with the experience and would recommend Dick Hannah VW service department to anyone.

I've been going to Hannah's for years. The service is great! NOt only do I take my car there for repairs, my husband and I have bought five cars. They have always been honest and fair with us. There is never pressure to buy, and they stand by their cars. I have also used the body shop when my new Passat was damaged. They also did an excellent job!

We purchased at Dick Hanan V.W.Vancouver Auto Mall a new 2005 V.W.Passat TDI in September 2005.All services have been performed by Dick Hanna Vancouver at the manufacture's recomended intravels.The service people have always been courteous & services done within the time alloted by them.They just did the 50,000 mile Service 12-7-09. At this time the original tires had worn down to 3/32 and were replaced with new tires at no cost to us. This was part of the Dick Hanna policy with new V.W. purchased in September 2005.All in all service has been very courteous,prompt and the vechile has been trouble free.

My 2003 Jetta needed service and I was debating if I wanted to take it to a Dealer or private shop. My prior experience with Dick Hannah Volkswagen was only to buy parts or look for a vehicle. In my oppinion they were about average compared to other Dealers that I have been to. I had a new key programmed and requested that they see if the engine had the latest flash file. Also I wanted to know what the radio code was for this car because I purchased it used. Was informed that they would have to hook up another computer to check engine software but they would see what they could do for me. I requested that they give an estimate if it was going to cost extra.As I waited in the comfortable customer lounge, I had some cookies and coffee and watched a good football game on tv. The sales and service staff were very freindly.I asked the customer service advisor Phi Nyugen if my car was done yet and requested that the radio code was documented on my owners manual. She personally hunted down the information and came in to let me know what was happening with the car. I was very pleased to hear that there were no charges for the extra requests.My job is in customer service and I was inspired by the Service Dept at Dick Hannha Volkswagen. They get it. I am an ex-technician myself, and as such, this was the first time our Passat has been in a dealership since we bought it 5 years ago. The only reason it went was because there were four significant recall campaigns that I wanted to get taken care of. The work was done in a timely fashion and the staff was courteous and helpful. They even offered to wash it for me when everything was said and done. Given how dirty it was, that feature alone was worth the trip in and of itself. :)

Previously, I had worked in Outside Sales, and I certainly recognized the importance of keeping up the service as recommended. I am always been able to get an appointment at one of my targeted dates and times and never a mix-up on appointments. They seem genuinely interested in taking care of my cars concerns, and I have always had the work completed in the agreed upon time frame, with what I feel is a fair price for qualified, professional work.

Phi has been wonderful in the service department. She's always willing to explain what's being done and then what has been completed. She has saved us plenty of money on our service by explaining and applying the discount available to us as "Customers for Life". She is always in a plesant mood, which is very much appreciated.

The staff at Dick hannah Volkswagon are truly professional. Customer service is their first priority and it is reflected in their Customer for Life Program. All concerns and questions are always resolved. Peter, Ryan and Becky in finances are awesome!

Good dealer. They were ready to help me when I drove in even though I was late for the appointment I set. They completed the service in less time than they estimated. The waiting area was clean. Everyone was friendly and professional.No complaints.

I bought a 2006 model and they have treated me as if I bought a brand new vehicle. The "customer for life" is very assuring that I will be taken care of, no matter what my problem is. I've been in for minor service issues a few times and have been treated with excellence every time. They even wash my car when it's in.!! Who else does that!?

Firebdky staff but the seemed a little busy to get to me even though I was one of only 2 customers in the service dept. car was returned early but I had to remind the do complete the job. They for got to put on my plates. My overall experience was good and I plan to continue having my Volkswagen passat serviced there and would recommend the service dept to anyone with a volkswagen.

I have taken my Jetta to the Dick Hannah Volkswagen service center since I purchased it new (from Dick Hannah) in 2005. I have always been incredibly pleased with their friendly and attentive staff. Courtesy shuttles are available to drop you off and/or pick you up, and they also offered me a free loaner vehicle the one time that my Jetta needed to be kept overnight. I have always been incredibly satisfied with the Dick Hannah Volkswagen service center.

We have always been impressed with their great service and attitude towards the customers. Since our first Dick Hannah purchase of a Subaru, we have also purchased a Honda and a Volkswagen from this dealership. In all three cases (with three different drivers) we have never had a bad experience at Dick Hannah. They provide great explainations with each service and never have missed on a commitment.

Highly professional service department. Ease and convenience of scheduling routine work necessary. Full explanation beforehand of time required to do work and the probable cost. The work has always been completed on that schedule. Only negative is that every visit includes recommendations by service representative of supposedly needed additional work to be done on the vehicle, always with an additional high three-digit price tag. Have been warned by an acquaintance who works in the auto service business to always get an outside evaluation of the diagnosis before having the 'high end' recommended work done. Twice before such "second opinion" questioned necessity of work Hannah recommended. I understand throughout the auto service industry, 'recommending additional service' is SOP so it puts me a bit on edge when bringing the car in and to know for sure when and when not to take such recommendations seriously. Other than that, I am completely satisfied with Hannah's service.

This was my first scheduled service for My 2009 Jetta TDI. Everthing was handled in a reasonable ammount of time and scheduleing a time I could meet was easy. I doubt that I would consider getting post warrantee service at the dealership at he quited price. (approximatly $156 for synthetic oil change/ water filter drain and general saftey check...)I cant see that going over about half that ammount.

I have enjoyed the service I have received on my vehicle. The service is not done quickly, but there is a comfortable waiting area with internet, where I can occupy myself. Their lifetime customer program seems to be a good one. I have already received the free tires they promised, which was very timely since it was before leaving on a vacation road trip. The service people are professional,capable and reliable.

I went to trade in a toyota and they got me out of it with no worry. got me the number i wanted and everything. now, i have had the car in 3 times. its a 09 vw cc sport. it just up and dies. no reason what so ever, they tell me there is no problem with it the first time they give it back to me. i take it home and drave it to work and on the way home the thing dies and almost kils me. steering goes out and the car dies and i almost drive off of a 30 foot cliff. i work up in the mountain. so i take it back they keep it for 5 more days. theres nothing wrong with this sir. i tell them there crazy and if it does it again and i am involved in a wreck im gonna sue them all. next thing you know a vw corprate guy calls me and offers me a 150 dollar check to compensate me and says there gonna get my vehicle fixed. so i except and hope everything will be fixed. get the car back and the next day im a block away from my house and the car dies out in the middle of the intersection and wont start up again. take it to them 2 days ago ad they say there gonn atry to get a vw tech to come from seatle to look at it. so now my next step is on monday im gonna call dick hannah and speak to jennifer hannah. vice president. i told the service manageer abby. i just need a reliable vehicle and she gives me her song and dance and say there gonna compensate me. so im gonna call jeniffer and ask her to see if its possible that they buy back my vw cc and walk me across the street to jeep and sell me a dependable jeep or else im gonna hire a lawyer. so we will see how it goes. the sales manager abdul is a complete jerk. when i bought the car i rolled over some negetive equity into a lease and it all works out. he tells me that i need to make sure not to ask for them to buy the vehicle back because i rolled negetive equity into my lease. they guy makes it seems like i want out of my car and to just go away. i told him that i want a dependaple vehicle no a piece of crap vw. so hopefully monday, 6/1/09 i will speak with jeniffer hannah and she can help me get out of this vw and into a jeep across the street. be cause i will refurse to deal with dick hannah vw. they are a garbage dealership and they need to go through and really look at there staff they have there and find some new employees. DONT BUY FROM DICK HANNAH VW. THEY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE A PIECE OF GARBAGE THAT HAS JUST BEEN THROWN OUT.MARK JANSEN5/30/2009

DO NOT BUY CARS FROM THESE PEOPLE!I spoke to one of the sales reps on the phone last week and had him give me their price on a new VW. It was the most competitive price I've found yet and I made the guy promise twice that that would be the price I got if I drove up there and bought that exact car. Wrong. I got there and of course they couldn't give me that price. These guys are crooks and they'll do anything to get you in the door to sell you a car at a higher price. I urge you not to support businesses like this.
