I brought my 2012 Ford F-250 Power Stroke diesel in without an appointment. There was a malfunction with the DEF sensor. There were but a few miles left before it would start going into shut down mode. David Hall at Downtown Ford recognized me right away, remembered my last service, and got my truck in despite it being a busy day down there. It turned out to require an extensive diagnostic process to figure out what was going on but, David kept me informed along the way. The service techs found the problem (nox-sensor). It's worked perfectly since. I appreciate David's handling of the situation.

My four stars are for the store, but for the person who sold the car to me, I give him five stars. His name is Alan, he was very kind with me, and also after I purchased the car he helped me with some questions and gave me a ride because the car I bought needed some extra work. I paid full price of the vehicle; instead to reduce the price, the price went up, despite that I paid with cash. Allan Boss also was rude in his words when I tried to negotiate the price with him. I hope my car worth and in the next months, I can update this review and give 5 stars to the company. The used cars they offer are in much better condition than a car from other dealers who do not have the prestige and warranty of a Ford Dealer.

Granted I had already found the truck I wanted on their website, it was a fast and painless transaction. I've always dreaded car shopping because of what I call "vultures" (salesman). Not a single salesman attacked me when I got out of the car. I walked in and was pointed right to the people I needed to talk to. Sherri Wicksten was a great help. The service was great I was informed ahead of time that the service depth was backed up so I would have to wait, I was given the option to come back first thing the following morning but my car was finished at the end of the day at 4:30 pm I called to check the status, I was told the car hadn't been in yet, by the time the shuttle picked me up from work and dropped me off at home the dealership my car was finished.

The service was great. Manny Nevarez, my Service Advisor listened to what I had to say and kept me up-to-date on everything from start to finish. I appreciated that I was treated with dignity and respect. I did not feel as though Manny was trying to sell me something or have me fix something that wasn't needed. I came into Downtown Ford just to look at an Explorer Sport and the salesman Roy showed me some numbers and I decided to go through with it. They worked hard on making sure that I got exactly what I wanted and stayed late helping me out. On the day of delivery Roy stayed after his shift to make sure I could get my car that day. The only issue I had was the detailing my car received. They rushed it and didn't do a very good job. They didn't dry the roof and there was still dirt on it. The windows were smudged with wax.

Bill, my salesman, was very patient with me explaining every detail of every car that I looked at. Safety is a major concern as I have children and grand-children that I transport daily. After many conversations over many selections I chose the Ford Fiesta. I have visited the service department twice since my purchase in June of last year; David is a wonderful person to work with deciding what, when and why services are best for car care. At last the finance team, the finance team went above and beyond to find the perfect fit for my budget needs. I was sure that my dreams of purchasing a brand new car for the first time were diminishing as moments ticked by--imagine my surprise when the finance officer came out with a HUGE smile on his face sat me down and asked if what was offered worked for me. I came in for a 7500 mile tune up. Did not expect to be there very long, it took about two hours. When the mechanic came to me, he apologized for the wait, but also informed me that there was a recall on my focus hatchback which they had checked out. I really was very happy to hear about the recall, and never received anything in the mail about a recall. Thank you all at Downtown Ford for being on top of things. The waiting was well worth it.

I bought a 2016 Ford Fiesta. Rick Davis in sales was great. He even set up my phone connection for me. He listened to my questions and guided me to what I wanted in a car as a commuter car. The financing guy was efficient and very professional.We drove it to Reno from Sacramento this weekend. It was comfortable and only used about $20.00 in gasoline.

My service guy was very helpful. I had my car there for it's regular service. The day before, I had accidentally run over a piece of debris on the freeway. It had pushed the protective panel under my bumper up. I asked to have it looked at and assessed. My service guy said they would have to probably charge me a half hour to fix it. When I checked out, he informed me that they had pulled it back into place, and secured it as best as they could, but it was not fixed 100%. He recommended that I take it to a body shop, because the part really needed to be replaced. He didn't charge me for the incomplete repair. That's old-school American business ethics. We asked to see a car that we saw online and he brought it to the front for us to evaluate. We ended up taking for a drive and really liked the car. We purchased a 2014 Ford Flex to start the New Year because our beloved 1999 Ford Expedition died. Our experience at Downtown Ford was excellent. We found the vehicle we wanted to look at online. We called ahead and talked to Ira to make sure the vehicle was still available since we were driving 2 hours to come to Sacramento. He verified it was still available. When we arrived, Ira was very helpful and knowledgeable. We liked the Flex, wrangled very little, and walked away with a deal we were happy with. It was as close to painless as is imaginable buying a vehicle. Our Flex still needed a few repairs and was not available to bring home immediately so Downtown Ford loaned us an alternate Flex to drive home 2 hours and brought us our new Flex to our home free of charge in a couple days. What excellent customer service!!! We were very thankful and we love our new vehicle and use it daily. Thank you!

Well there was a lot that needed to be done, so I will address them one at a time.Transmission - This was a small problem caused by Ford with the wrong parts in the replacement transmission, and I do not hold Dowtown Ford responsible for this problem. That said, I think you did an outstanding job getting the issues resolved with Ford. Downtown Ford did a great job rebuilding the transmission. The new transmission is so smooth it is un-noticeable. Really amazed how well the car runs now!Replace motor mounts - An outstanding difference in the handling of the car. No more wierd vibrations, just nice and stiff again.Replace power steering pump and hoses - This required some parts from Ford and some parts I needed to find. No big deal there. The cars steering is as good as new. Very happy with the results!Pulley replacements - old worn out pulley bearings in several places on the belt loop. Downtown Ford replaced all these noises pulleys and made the dreadful noise all go away.With all these changes implemented by Downtown Ford have my car running smoother and quieter that is has in a long time.I give the services rendered by Downtown Ford a 5 Star Rating! Both this visit and my former visit, I was unable to schedule my appointment online. With my most recent visit, I didn't get a response for my online appointment request until I called and said "Hey, do I have an appointment on Jan 4th or not?" Then I got an email response.

We made an appointment, were taken care off quickly. I asked about checking on a possible oil leak - didn't hear if they found anything. The indicator on the car said it was time for an oil change, but it was actually 3000 miles too early. They did the 45000 mile check up, told us we needed 2 new tires, and did the oil change anyway at no charge. All in all, an expensive day that was probably needed.

From a timing perspective, my wife and I didn't think we were actually ready to purchase a car. Downtown Ford had the vehicle we had been looking for so we decided to make a trip up there to see what our options were. Ira was totally chill and placed no pressure on us whatsoever. We were having a lot of problems all of a sudden with our 2003 windstar and decided it was high time for a new/used car about a year old and the personel there ( Bill, Ali and Randy especially ) were very helpful and patient with us in our dicision making process. However... This was the 1st service for my new FORD FLEX. I had purchased a 'service package' at the time I purchased this vehicle and paid almost $800 dollars for this thinking I was going to save the BIG BUCKS. I hope this WAS NOT one of those service intervals. As far as I was concerned the service amounted to an oil change and not much else. The vehicle wasn't even washed or cleaned. Not necessarily happy with this experience. I bought Ray's "Mustang" a few years back and he's taken great care of me. I will say David did a great job, but I am disappointed with Ford if they do not fix my Flex. I brought it in when it was under warranty. I was never told I could have a rental while my car was being worked on. So it made it difficult with my work schedule to bring it back in. I pray talking to Mathew today I can get this fixed. If I don't, I will not bring my Flex back to Ford to get service done. Not trying to be rude, but I never used my warranty and I feel since i brought it in and you did not have the part, I should not be stuck with this four hundred fee for a door sensor. Other than that I have no complaints. God Bless

I came in because my seat belt wasn't latching all the time. Wade Pendleton was great and determined the "female" part was defective and ordered a replacement. While waiting for the replacement over a couple of days, my warning light came on saying my brake fluid was low and needed service now. When I came in to get the seat belt latch fixed, Wade checked on the brake fluid sensor and found it to be defective as well. He ordered the new part. The only "bad" thing was that the wrong part was sent but didn't know that until my car got in the shop. So, then another order was placed, and the correct part finally arrived and Wade got it in and got me on my way quickly. I was called and informed that my cabin air filter and windshield wipers (causing streaks) needed replacing and that my car was ready. I declined the service for these items. Upon picking up the car, there was no marks that the windshield was ever activated. No streak marks were present and the original dirt on the windshield was still present when I brought in the car for service. So how was the windshield wipers checked and to cause streaking?

This time was not the best. I brought the car in for a check charging system light that came on. And it took 2 weeks to get the car back. As per the service dept. two bad alternators and the mother board was bad. The light came on again and I brought the car back in for the check charging system light. A 3rd alternator was installed. So far the car charging system is working good. My concern is that the first bad alternator may have damaged the mother board. I also left a manage for the service manager/the man in charge and he never called me back. David Hall has always worked with me and know he is not the one doing the work. 2 bad alternators and 3 weeks in the shop not good.

Well I didn't have an appointment but they were still able to see me. I was told it would take about an hour and a half, but it seemed like they were done in a little under an hour which was cool. I got the Works Package for 39.95. David was my contact person who was very nice. However everyone else in that dealership I felt was pretty cold and not very customer service oriented. They don't speak to you or thank you for coming there. They just look at you.

Well I have been a steady customer for more than 10 years and like the service rendered. In 2012 we bought a 2011 cert. Edge and the misstake that I did is not let my disable wife drive it of course she hates it for no handle at the winshield and no electrical seat. The handle I blame FORD for not having it for the Esace has it and other models have it but not the edge I understand it is not an option extra too.???? Have complained to Ford 2 years ago with no response.The next auto that pulls my 2700 pd. pop up trailer will have the handle if I must go else where to get what is standard in other auto makers well so be it. Our majority of the auto's that we owned since has been FORD's In fact my first car was a 1949 Ford coup and it was built with over drive with achieving 24 miles per gallon. Lawrence the sales guy was not pushy, was knowledga ble and atypical of used car salespeople. I called first to have him describe the car to me which he described as cherry but of course I was very skeptical. There was literally not a scratch or dent or anything on the car. there was not a lot of the typical back-and-forth negotiating and I feel we both got a fair deal. they provided a Carfax for me, & a service print out that Showed the things that they did to the car with a very thorough going over. I have a BMW and I have bought Lexus in the past and they are known for not having pushy car salespeople and the truth is this was an easier and less lengthy process than what I am used to in buying a car. Seemed to me like they weren't starving and were interested in a long term relationship. even though they are an hour and 15 minutes from my house I would definitely go there to buy a car even though it's too far away for service. we are going to get an SUV in February and I will definitely go back there

It makes no sense for me to drive from Lincoln to your dealership to get my car serviced but as long as people like David insure all servicing has been done, and people like Kirk Shorter sync my new phone with my car I'll continue to do it.I do wish the TV received sports channels so I could have seen the Giants game.

Whenever I take my car in for service the Service Department is knowledgeable and I appreciate that they take the time to explain the worksheet like checking brakes if or when they should be replaced, rotating tires, fluids etc.

I had new tires installed... they had some sort of a sticky residue on them..some sort of a white/greyish matter...always, in the past,new tires purchased from downtown ford, were clean, new, shiny black...(they looked like new tires) this time my new tires looked like old tires , I was disappointed that after spending $1400.00 for a service and new tires... that I had to (very painstakingly ) spend an hour cleaning my new tires...whatever this residue was it did not come off easily....maybe that's why it wasn't done to begin with.......

When purchasing my 2013 Escape, the staff made the experience one of the best i've ever had. In all the cars i've purchased in the past i've never felt so comfortable and at ease with the process. I was informed of everything as it was happening, and educated in the paperwork i was signing. It was a no rush and no pressure atmosphere which i've already recommended to many friends/family. I purchased a used fusion hybrid and applied for financing online. Graham responed within minutes and worked quickly to get an offer together with the finance manager. This has by far been the best most efficient car buying experience I've ever had. The whole team at Downtown Ford were professional, courteous and willing to go the extra mile. As always my expierence at Downtown Ford was great. I took my Explorer in with the paint bubbling up on the hood. After an inspecting it they immediately checked it in ,provided me with a rental car while they repainted the hood. I had my car back in 3 days. I am very happy with the work that they did and the way I was treated.

I brought my Fusion in for its first oil change and such. David Hall was my service writer and he was most pleasant; efficient; professional and just made my visit a pleasant experience. I was impressed too with the atmosphere in the waiting room where I joined several other Ford owners in comparing notes on our vehicles while Downtown Ford staff passed though the area greeting us as they passed. I went into the dealership not expecting to leave with anything because i knew I wouldn't qualify for a nice car. Due to needing a new car as soon as possible my husband and I went straight to the used cars, and cheapest cars they had. Out of desperation I decided to just go with one model that had about 40,000 miles on it. The car was nice it rode smooth but it wasn't a car I was in love with. So we went through the whole process of trying to purchasing the car. As I thought The amount of money I needed to put down on the car on top of the monthly payments were just way to much for me. So I decided I would just wait a few more months to save and come back and purchase one of the cars I wanted and have lower payments. So as soon as I was sad and felt slightly defeated the finance guy said he wanted to check with his manager to make sure he covered all of his basis . When he came back he gave me an unexpected option. He said I would qualify for a brand new 2014 car with very little down and affordable payments. So we looked at the model he told us it was a brand new ford fusion that only had 12 miles! I was in shock for the rest of the time. I fell in love with the car. I never expected to leave with a car, especially not a new car! I was even able to trade my old car. I have a son , and the staff saw that and they new I needed to get out of the car I had. I am forever great ful to this dealership. It was like an answered prayer that I wasn't expecting. My sales man was Glen . Glen had great customer service. I really appreciate his honesty about the cars . I never once felt pressured to purchase anything . He made sure I knew exactly what each car I was looking at had . He was very knowledgeable and patient with my 1 year old son who was running around. I appreciate the finance guy and the manager for working with the loan companies to get me a great deal that I wasn't expecting!

We had spent two full weekends trying to get a Hyundai Elantra and it was an exhausting experience and no one would give us an answer and they kept passing us around like a bucket of popcorn. I had been looking for a 2009 Mustang so that I could export it to New Zealand. I saw the ideal one on line and made contact through the web site. The service was as good as you could expect - the internet sales person had the additional hassle of dealing with someone across the other side of the world, and made the whole process quite simple. The car was put on hold while I arranged an independent inspection, and then there was further delay while finance was arranged and wired through. Then they had to deal with a shipper in LA, and arranged transport to the shippers location. Very happy customer and hope to call in one day to see who I was dealing with in person.

I went back the next day and was immediately taken care of by a representative who was very knowledgeable about iPods. The representative explained the problem of why my new classic iPod did not work and what I needed to do. I liked how Downtown Ford corrected the situation, and I would recommend them to others.

Until the time my car was picked up, I could have given Downtown Ford 5 stars in all categories, but when the car was delivered after a 2 hour wait the repair specified was not even looked at. I was greeted courteously and promptly when I arrived,and the only thing I requested to be done was to find out why my iPod would not sync. The work order was written up as such and was never even looked at. After nearly a 2 hour wait the car came back washed and checked over and I was told my sync was OK. I thanked customer service for the great service until I got in my car and found out that during my wait nothing was done except the car wash and checking my tires. I did not come in for this purpose, I wanted my iPod to play and the technician did not bother to even look at it.

Bought my 2010 Ford Fusion recently. Car was priced below competitors prices so I was expecting a lessor car. What a surprise, the car turned out to be nicer with more equipment than other cars that I had looked at. Was out in about an hour with my 2010 Certified Fusion Hybrid. So far I love the car. Am averaging 38 miles per gallon

I cannot express how poorly I was treated by the sales staff at Downtown Ford. After requesting information about the car online, I was contacted by the Internet Sales Manager. I expressed my interested in a Certified Used Ford, told him what I was looking for in terms of trade-in, reviewed financing options, and asked if price was negotiable. Feeling positive about our phone call, I drove one hour to the dealership. After a brief test drive, we went into the office. I was traded back and forth between my original salesperson and the sales manager. During the process, I found that the price of the vehicle was not negotiable and was presented with a cars.com print out of others cars in the area that were priced higher--amazingly, when I repeated the same search later I was presented with different results. The dealership most not have included Roseville in their search. The offer for my trade-in was not discussed, and was only presented to me along with some figures (the full price of the car, interest rates higher I qualify for, and payments $100 a month higher than we discussed) written out on a piece of scratch paper. The worst part of the sales experience is I could hear the sales team loudly and mockingly talk about me in another office as I sat in an office alone. Occasionally a salesperson would pop back in the room and want to know if we can make this happen today. Then he'd leave and loudly discuss my answer in a neighboring office. Then I'd hear the sales manager repeat and mock my answer. When I asked to leave, the sales manger gave me a dirty look and made a comment about enjoying my day in one rudest tones I've ever heard from a salesperson. In my defense, it was a beautiful Sunday and I had already wasted an hour, not including the drive to the dealership. Of course, I was contacted by the Internet sales that evening, but he did not to provide me any real information about the car, just invited me to call them back. The following day I was contacted the Sales Manager. In expressing how I felt I was poorly treated by him and his team, the Sales Manager said that we shouldn't do business together because of my poor experience and quickly got off the phone. I'm an educated professional with a good job, excellent credit, and could easily afford the car I was considering. Why a sales team would choose to be rude as well as lie about the negotiability of the car to get me to the dealership is beyond me.

Previous car buying has left me weak at the kness, stressed out and overwhelmed. Not the case this time! My wife and I will definately be back. Rick is absolutely the best. When I arrived his partner walked me through the process in a professional and calm manner.
