They don't deserve 1 star. Consumers Beware! Do Not Do Business with DriveMax! They will tell you what you want to hear to get your money and then scam you out of your money. On June 8, 2020 we purchased a used SUV (2008 Chevrolet Suburban). A week later the Check Engine came on and it has been downhill since then. The short story: the engine was blown and it needs new catalytic converters = $8800 in repairs. At Day 80 the truck became inoperable and not able to be drove, at which point they towed it back to DriveMax. After its all said and done, we are $7000 into this vehicle and had paid our payments on time and even early. They are not good business people and don't know how to do good business. They have their death trap back, the brand new tires, the brand new battery, and all of our money. We asked them to return our down payment and they offered us $3000.00. Save yourself some time and frustration, do your business elsewhere. These predators survive off of the money they steal from our community and then refuse to correct the situation that they caused. They even had the audacity to say that we blew the engine.
