I purchased my 1999 Monte Carlo at Durand's many years ago. After having my car for 17 years, I was both sad & 'brand new' at buying a car... but Sales Manager, Mark Rebidue came to my rescue! He re-introduced me in to looking at cars again and was extremely patient with all my basic questions. I am totally enjoying my 2008 Pontiac G6. Let me begin by saying that my wife and I have had at least two bad experiences -- no, terrible experiences -- at new car dealerships elsewhere in the state. This soured both of us on the very idea of buying a new car.From start to finish, the experience at Durand Chevrolet in Hudson was entirely different. First off, the sales people don't swoop down on you like vultures immediately when you start looking around at cars in their lot, They give you space. They let you look around, without pestering you, Second, when we finally went inside to FIND a salesman, we were greeted by Brian Butka, a friendly, personable, fairly soft-spoken, but very knowledgeable salesman. He was not pushy at all. We talked about cars and about Hudson, he showed us a few cars, quoted some prices, and we test-drove a couple. A 2017 Equinox caught my eye and the price was right, the only issue being the interest rate. He and Joe Mazzapica shopped around for a better interest rate for me and found one that sounded right. Joe ran us through some paperwork and that was it. No stomach-turning pressure or "Let me talk with my manager" stuff. Just a fair deal involving people with integrity.. When I picked up the car following the holiday weekend, Brian patiently walked my wife and I through virtually every feature of the new car. There are dozens of sophisticated features so this took a while to complete. But he stayed, after closing time, to assist us and make sure we had our questions answered. Again, this was actually a wonderful experience, one I would be happy to repeat and one I'd highly recommend to anyone.Steve and Dolly SharekHudson, MA

We had the best experience dealing with Durand Chevrolet! We were greeted promptly upon arrival. The dealer sat with us asking what are needs and wants are. We went on a thorough test drive and then sat to discuss finance options. Although we waited some time for the finance manager to work his magic, it was worth the wait. Just bought a new Chevy Volt from Durand. I'm 60 yrs. old and have been to a lot of dealers over the decades. They were the absolute best, low stress, great deal, courteous, and honest. Most other dealers I've been to are like sharks circling as soon as you get in the door. At Durand, Mark Rebidue sold us our car, no pressure, gave us a great deal both on the price of the car and our trade in (I did my homework), was down to earth, and when we met with the owner to sign the papers, it took no time at all. Other dealers have you there for hours trying to sell you extras and an extended warrantee, etc. Highly recommend them.

I called about a truck I saw on their website. All the pricing, rebates, and discounts were laid out clearly on their website, no tricky advertising or pricing that no one actually qualifies for. I told them I would be there around 4 o'clock and when I got there a few minutes early, the truck was already outside running and ready for a test drive. They then gave me a price for my trade, laid out the whole deal on paper for me in plain English, no hidden fees or deceptive pricing, what you see is what you get. Being a business owner I buy vehicles very often (12 in the last 10 years), and Durand Chevrolet gave me the one of best combinations of pricing, service, and ease of buying that I've ever had. Everyone from the salesman to the financing manager took good care of me . Would definitely go there again.

I know I am not an easy customer, I can be grumpy, impatient, annoyed, but after trying two other dealers and weeks of online research I ended up at Durands and it couldn't have been better. I ended up with the truck I wanted at the right price, including my trade at fair value, and I drove away happy. My salesman David was just what you want, no pressure, good knowledge, reasonable and understanding. The icing on the cake was their financing guru Joe. Instead of feeling like a lawyer just sold you a car, Joe made the the best calls for rates and discounts on top of what I negotiated. Michael was a great salesman, who was not only professional, courteous as well as a pleasure to deal with. We came to terms, and the process was great, start to finish. Other dealers were so focused on me taking their loan offers, which I did not need, that I walked away several times. The focus on the money made offering a loan versus having a customer who gets the car they want is frustrating. Durand did not pressure me, and presented options, but did not press me when I told them I preferred to use my own bank. I highly recommend considering Durand for your next car purchase.

I was brought in by a letter from Rob Baker stating they would like to buy back my GMC Envoy & would give me a free oil change even if we weren't able to make a deal. I decided to go & look around but honestly didn't think I would trade in my car because I absolutely loved it! When I came in I sat down w/Sal & started looking at some comparable cars on the computer. He was very helpful & understanding about how reluctant I was. After looking at a few that were a little out of my price range I saw an Acadia that was very similar to my Envoy & decided to take it for a test drive. The experience was professional. Everyone I worked with was polite. The price of the car was spot on from what I found on Kelly Blue Book. The dealership quickly fixed a door locking problem that I noticed. I felt it was somewhat misleading to see that the 5yr old car had all green checkmarks on it's history report considering the available history of the car only went back as far as when it arrived on this dealer's lot a couple months ago. Despite this, the dealer's inspection of the state of the car was consistent with what I found when I took it to an independent car shop, and the car seemed in good condition. This was my first experience purchasing a car. I was somewhat nervous coming in, but I feel like I paid a fair price.

Well I had gone to them after I went to another dealership and had the most horrible experience. My requests about my car were ignored, my questions not answered, and overall talked to like I had no brain, or just was not worth the time to talk to. Someone told me about Durand Chevrolet, so I thought nothing can be worse than the other place, why not? Durand was amazing even with just the first phone call. I spoke to a man named Josh who was talking TO me not AT me. He explained every question I had asked him, and went above and beyond to make sure I fully understood everything I needed to know. I had never had such great customer service even just over the phone. I had a warranty on parts of my car, and even though it was last minute before expiring, I was told to bring my car in the next day to be serviced. They even apologized about the other dealerships behavior, It made me really understand what it is to be a valued customer somewhere. The man I spoke to inside behind the desk was named Dave,once again, very friendly, very approachable. He asked how he could help and seemed more than sincere. Once again, having explained my situation to him, he was more than willing to help me and explain what I should know. I was Told I would get a call about my car later in the day after an inspection. Just a few hours later, I got a call and was told my options, some things that were beyond my knowledge, etc. I was able to then decide and move forward with fixing my car appropriately. Once again, talked to me the whole time with great customer service skills. I went in the next day after dropping my car off and picked it up in tip top shape. the prices were beyond amazing, and you could just tell these guys were really happy about making me happy. They sure did, too. They helped me out so much, I have already recommended them to everyone I know who has a Chevy. Great crew over there. I just can not say it enough!

Went to Durand Chevy yesterday to look at the green 1998 Chevy S10 with a low 60,000 miles they had for $4k on the lot. I found this vehicle listed here on cars.com and after speaking with the dealer on the phone decided to drive to take a look at it. I got there and there was a sold tag on the truck. Oldest trick in the book. They claimed that after a month of the truck sitting on the lot, they now had a $100 deposit from another customer just 5 minutes ago. The other customer had "gone to check financing with their bank." Well it was almost 5 o'clock so probably not likely. They called the customer and of course could not get an answer. Right. Sal the salesman was quite unapologetic. He told me he was sorry I wasted my time and that he had nothing else to show me, walking away without a thank you or a hand shake. Mike argued with me over the date of my inquiry on the vehicle. I had entered it the day before and he claimed more than once that it was over 2 weeks ago. I had still given the truck a quick look over and what I found was disturbing. Within 5 minutes I found numerous issues with the vehicle. The sales team claimed that the truck was in mint mechanical condition, having being recently inspected by their service department. Quickly looking over the 1998 S10 I found... Fairly minimal body rust for a truck from NE although the frame and it's cross members as well as shackles and hangers were very rusted. The rear passenger side cab mount was rotted out and you could physically lift or lower the truck off of the frame. Hey Durand! This is a safety issue! It will not pass inspection! The battery in the truck was 5 years old and the alternator appeared to be older as well, if not original. That will leave you stranded. The front main seal on the block was leaking oil all over the bottom of the motor as well as on the frame and the ground below the truck. Wow another reason this truck would not pass inspection. The engine oil was old and hadn't even been changed. The truck had been smoked in and smelled, with burn holes in the seat. It had been through a hail storm and was peppered with dents on it's hood and roof. If I could find these issues with the truck after 5 minutes in the lot I can only imagine what I would find after a month on the road. If that is the quality of vehicle your service department can push out, find some new techs and raise your safety standards a bit. After seeing the heap of a truck they called a $4000 vehicle, I let them know that they were selling an unsafe vehicle to an unknowing buyer, and I left. On the way out I said thanks for nothing to the sales crew, to which the sales manager replied, you're welcome. BUYER BEWARE. Especially when buying a used car. I'd recommend having a separate shop inspect the vehicle before signing any paperwork at this shoddy dealership. Also I gave the facilities 1 star because the bathroom door would not lock.

A year and a half ago, I was browsing used vehicles and visited a few local dealerships. Durand stuck out because out of all of them, they gave me no pressure, didn't "throw my keys onto the roof," and didn't call me a dozen times to follow up. As a result, when I was recently back in the market for a used vehicle, they were my prime destination. They truly seem to respect the customer and as a result, become worthy of respect, themselves. They're patient, helpful, and trustworthy, and have a mindset in which they want to earn your business, rather than a feeling of being entitled to it. I sent an e-mail which was almost immediately replied to by Eric Page. We spoke on the phone for about 10 minutes and I told Eric what I wanted and he went with it. I didn't recieve any pressure to buy or lease something I wasn't interested in. When I went in to sign papers, Joe and Eric had everything ready and there were surprises (which I expected). One of the difference between my experience at Durand's and other car buying experiences is that the surprise was actually a good one. I didn't need to put any extra money down and there were no changes from the figures that I spoke with Eric about.I leased this car with no hassle at all (I wouldn't have leased or bought if there had been).

I talked to Brain Butka in sales (who had sold me my truck) and he got me set up with their bumper guy who fixes dents and dings for the dealer ship. I could not believe the results of this work. I could not even tell there was even a dent in the bumper. Thanks Brain for the recommendation. I then set up an appointment with service to get it repaired. I dropped off my suburban for maintenance and am Air bag light Matt called after they checked it out and told me it would be $550 I questioned if it was covered by my extended warranty and Matt told me it was declined so I told him go ahead we gotta have it. Worked a deal to trade a 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid for a 2013 Sonic LTZ Hatchback with Sal Locascio in late October. End of year prices were quite good with manufacturer incentives and the trade value came in good as well. A deal was struck, financing arranged through Joe M. for the balance due and the new car delivered promptly. A follow-up service visit was arranged through Josh Claflin to repair a small ding in the front passenger door from another door opening into it at some point. Looks great after the fix and the car was ready within the hour. Durand is a true local dealer without the price hype (not true) like the dealer in the little town of Mendon. All employee interactions are respectful of you as a person and of your time. I highly recommend purchasing and servicing your Chevrolet from Durand.

Our car was involved in an accident, and the initial work was done at another shop. After we picked it up, there were residual transmission problems, so we brought the car to Durand. Josh was fantastic, and incredibly patient. It took almost four weeks to get approval from the insurance company to do the work, and Josh was very helpful during that process. Even after they gave approval, they wouldn't agree to cover all of the work, and Josh worked with us to help make the repairs more affordable. Overall, I would highly recommend Durand and Josh Claflin in particular.

Brought my 2007 Chevy Silverado in for a problem with the front drivetrain. Keep in mind that I didnt purchase the truck there and was a new customer. Josh took the bull by the horns, called my extended warranty company and not only had the work needed done, found out what else was needed and determined that too was covered! With my extended warranty ending soon, he told me we should get the work done while under warranty. Nope, not done. Josh arranged for my rental from Enterprise with an excellent price and was able to absorb some of this into the work. The service was simply over and above. I'll come back for service and an eventual purchase. I've told my friends and family about my experience because today, it's unheard of. If your reading this Josh, thank you.

Durand Chevrolet offered me an opportunity that I did not think would apply to me. I was looking for a truck that I found online at Durand. A 2007 Dodge Dakota quad cab 4x4 with 68000 + miles. A good deal I thought but as it turned out although my credit was very good, I had not established a credit history (i.e. credit cards ect.) since 2008 which flagged the banks to ask me for a much higher downpayment that I could not afford. The sales and business professionals at Durand told me about a lease option with NO money down!! I now have a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado quad cab 4x4 with full 2 year warrantee! I could not be happier! I Was in agreement to purchase a 2010 jeep wrangler that was not supposed to have any body damage. Made arrangements to do the deal in New York, Because there dealership is in Massachusetts and i live in New Jersey. They agreed to meet me half way. I took off a day from work. I traveled 3 hours and 140 miles to meet with the delivery drivers. It cost me $ 33.00 in tolls and $ 90.00 in fuel as i was pulling a trailer to pick up the jeep. Upon arriving and inspecting the jeep there was additional damage to the driver side door sill that was not made aware to me. When i questioned the drivers they contacted the salesman and the salesman then contacted the owner about the damage. Well to make a long story short after driving all that way. Spending all that time and money on fuel, tolls and a days loss of wages. They would not even consider making any concession for the additional damage. There reply was to take it or leave it. They would not even consider taking $ 5.00 off the $ 19,000.00 + purchase price. I feel that it was a really bad decision on there part to not even try to work with me in some way !!!! Since i returned i spoke with a auto body shop, and showed them the pictures of the damage. With out actually seeing the damage they estimated the cost of repairs at $ 400.00 - $ 500.00. Not a cheap fix ! There for i feel that this needed to be out there for other consumers to be aware of. I have never had any dealing with them prior to this and can say nor will i ever !!!! We had a frank, open discussion about the vehicle I was trading in, what I was looking for, and about the pros and cons of the vehicle I was looking at. They even let me leave the dealership without hounding me for an answer on the spot! They treated me with respect, they were not pushy at all, and I really did feel that they truly wanted me to make the best decision I could for me and my family, and they were willing to let me walk away in order to do that. I looked around at a couple of other options afterward, but it was this initial experience I had at Durand that led me back to them to purchase the vehicle I had looked at originally. Once I made the decision to go back and purchase my vehicle from them, the actual purchasing experience was just as easy as the shopping expeience. Joe Mazzapica was great to work with, and had our deal done in no time - and at the payment I was looking for! As they say, first impressions last a lifetime - and it was that first impression I had of good, honest people working for a dealership that actually cares about the people they do business with that led me to do business with Durand. Overall I had an excellent experience at Durand Chevrolet. Michael was businesslike but friendly and very efficient and held true to the "No-hassle" policy espoused by the dealership. I drove out with my new car in 2 hours flat, and although I was disappointed I could not negotiate a lower price for my purchase, that seems to be the norm these days for used cars advertised online. I came in 3 days later for less than a half hour and had my inspection, insurance change and registration all completed. I would highly recommend Durand Chevrolet to anyone in search of a car upgrade.

Nothing else need be said. This is the 7th vehicle purchased. Sal is the "anti-salesman" if I may coin a phrase. Never any hint of "pushy" or selling you something you don't need. He'll ask you questions to find out what your needs are so the best possible fit for your situation can be met. He's been at Durand longer than dirt, that should speak for it self in an industry that sees salesmen change like socks. Price? you won't do any better at one of the high volume joints. my husband went in on a saturday afternoon to look for a car Rob brought us in the office started talking about the vehicle and obtaining information. On Tuesday we went back up and Sal handed us the keys and said we had the car. Everything approved. We then went to see Joe to finish us the paperwork. From the salesmen, to to finance to service (as we needed a sticker) everyone was wonderful, personable and professional. When i went in for the sticker i was early and i had a question, the service representative came out to the car with me and looked at what i was asking very quickly gave me the answer. Even though i was early and i had one person in front of me the car was returned in very reasonable amount of time. This is the third vehicle we bought from them, one my husband bought a couple of years ago, we bought one for our daughter earlier this year and then my car. We recommend this dealership very highly.

They were great. I went in on Wednesday and went back Thursday and all the leg work was done. All I had to do was show up with check book. Joe Mazzapica was very thorough about the financing (never pushy or trying to sell more options) and gave me all my options on terms and rates. He did all the leg work which is key to my life when I am very busy with work and the children. Brian Butka from the first phone call inquiring about cars on the internet was nice enough to go out in the lot while I held him on the phone to see if the vehicle I had seen was on the lot which was not the vehicle I bought since it did not have all wheel drive and he was patient enough to tell me what vehicles since I am picky about the colors and options. They had many vehicles to pick from. He returned several calls over the next 24 hours on questions I had. When I first came to the dealership I had my 3 boys and Kato our pup. I was about to go on the test drive and was going to leave my oldest son with the dog while I test drove but he asked if he could take the dog and brought him into the show room where he made friends with all the employees. After the financing he took the time to show me all the options in the car which I was not aware of when I bought while another customer was waiting and did not rush me or and was very thorough about several things about the car.

Our recent purchase is just another continuing example of how the Durand family/team takes care of it's customers.After 9 years and 192,000+ miles, my 2004 Venture van finally developed coolant leaks. After working with Josh and Dave in service, we determined that it was finally time to put the old girl out to pasture. While Josh was very fair at working out the repair costs, it was just more than the van was worth.So, it was time to work with our old friend Sal. Sal has been our exclusive salesman and good friend over the last 20+ years. So far he's provided us with 2 Olds Cutlasses, 2 Trackers. 2 Venture vans, an Equinox and now my, new to me, Captiva. Always Sal listens first, gets out wants and needs, and then suggests solutions, not the current "hot sale car".There's never a "this is close", or push to another model, or higher prices. Because he listens, we've always gotten what we wanted.One thin Sal and I have worked with is what he calls the "program vehicles". These are slightly used cars that Durand gets. The pick the cream of the crop, go 200% over them before putting them out for sale. From these vehicles both Venture vans came from. So, when Sal showed us a 2012 Captiva from this it was love at first sight and no question of vehicle quality.The next most pleasant surprise can from Joe in finance. In exchanging the situation with Sal about the dieing Venture, when I sat down with him, he already had great financing arranged in less that 10 minutes. A 1.9% finance rate and affordable payments. Wow. Now, in the past I was used to financing taking at least 24 hours to go through. But, after going over everything, the only question was if I could clean out the Venture so I could take the captiva home that same day!Needless to say, a quick trip home to clear my "stuff" out and get back to Durand and I was on my way in great transportation.All of this, by the way, took from roughly 3:00 in the afternoon to 6:30 that same evening to get everything done.When folks ask why we are so loyal to Durand, this is another perfect example how they treat folks as family, not customers.

Requested information for a car I found on their website, was followed up with an immediate response from Mike Peloquin. Worked with Mike for a full day back and forth via email while he was able to work out a financing deal for me to even determine whether the drive from Woonsocket, RI to Hudson, MA was worth it. I literally purchased a car from my desk while at work. Immediate responses, went out of his way to get specific information for me, etc. Came in for the test drive a day later, noticed I worked in Milford, MA and immediately went to work with Joe Mazzapica to get me an even BETTER deal. Every time I saw the price tag of the car, it was getting lower without even asking, didn't even have to put on my negotiators pants and get the best deal, they handed it to me no questions asked. Was referred here by a coworker, immediately referred another coworker, as well as my father. My wife had no hand in the process at all, and after joining me for the test drive, she was blown away by the customer service and atmosphere that she clearly wasn't expecting at all and we'll now be considering something more current for her as a new vehicle. Was petrified to be working at my first car purchase since my first car out of High School and these guys shattered my perceptions of the industry, completely pain and hassle free.

My mother and I went to Durand to test drive a 2001 Buick LeSabre with 48,000 miles on it. We met Brian Butka there and he was very accomodating and did not pressure us in any way to but the car. Upon drivung the car,which was a one-owner in excellent condition, we purchased the car. Durand had placed new tires on the car and did a thorough inspection of it.The process was easy and stress-free, unlike many dealers we had visited. All staff are friendly and knowledgeable.This dealer has been in Hudson for many years and seems to have an excellent reputation. I would definitely visit this dealer again to purchase another vehicle.

I had been to 2 or 3 dealerships before I went to Durand chevrolet, all but Durand basically gave me the feeling that because I wasnt buying a brand new car, and was limited to a price range within our budget, they didnt have the time to work with us. At Durand, first Mike the salesman, took the time to show us numerous cars over a five day period that were exactly what I had asked to be shown. After finding a few cars that I felt comfortable with, we met Joe the financial/business manager, he sat down with us, explained all our options, and found a way to keep our payments within the range we wanted with a car that we were very happy with! Beside providing exceptional customer service and alot of patience, we had the pleasure of meeting Rob- the sales manager, who went above and beyond to work with us on the trade in value so that we could walk out in the car we wanted as well as being satisfied with the amount we received for the trade in. All I can say about Durand Chevrolet is EVERYONE we worked with from start to finish, were wonderful and very professional (beside working great as a team). He heard so many good things about the dealership from his co-workers and one of the things my husband liked what he heard was the Durand salesmen were not pushy fast talking salesmen trying to make a fast buck trying to sell you anything. And when he went there for himself, he was impressed and bought a truck. When my old car was breaking down and after recovering from a serious illness, my husband said I deserved a treat and we went shopping for a new car. After searching for several months on line I found what I wanted at Durand. When I entered the dealership I asked for Mark who I spoke to on the phone and we sat down to talk business. After a short period of time we were both happy with the deal and I now have a new vehicle stunned at how pleasant the experience was. This was the first time we worked with Joe but we found him to be very helpful and he worked hard to get us favorable financing. I brought my 2000 Chevy Truck in because I knew there were a lot of things that needed to be fixed. Joe Dorazio looked it all over and let me know that, even though everything can be repaired, my truck was beyond reasonable repair shape. The frame was broken, the shackles were busted with one spring coming right up through the truck bed. The right front wheel bearing was gone. I trust Joe and he thought fixing it would be cost prohibitive. I agreed. Suddenly I needed to buy a vehicle. I looked up what Durand had for used vehicles online. The next day I met with Joe, he introduced me to Brian Butka. Brian was very nice. I told him I had seen the Chevy HHR online and was interested in that. He test drove with me a little bit and then let me take it on my own to show my husband in Harvard, Ma. When I came back, I met again with Brian and sat down with Rob Morrill who was extremely nice. I told him I wanted the Chevy and in 30 minutes he had an answer from the bank and I was signing papers. They got my payments where I could manage them and took care of all the running around. They took my truck in trade and absorbed the cost of the final diagnosis. On the next day I met with Business Manager Joe Mazzapica, who followed up with me made sure everything was all set. He was very nice. There was no pressure, no hassle. These gentlemen are very professional and courteous. Joe Dorazio was like a guardian angel. Brian followed up with a call week later. These guys are great.

My husband and I went to Durand Chevrolet initially for a used vehicle, but decided to purchase a new 2012 Chevrolet Malibu. We walked around the dealership for a lengthy period of time without having the bombardment of several sales persons hasseling us. Mark came out and was very friendly and when we said we needed a few moments, he gladly gave it to us. Once we decided on a vehicle, Mark answered our questions honestly and openly without the "haggle salesman" approach. Once meeting with Joe in finance, he did everything he possibly could to get us a monthly payment we were comfortable with. I felt that Joe and Mark went up and beyond what a normal dealership would do in order to make us feel comfortable, appreciated, and respected. The only thing that my husband and I didn't like was when we purchased our brand new Malibu, we left the dealership no one had bothered to fill up the gas tank on our vehicle. We both assumed that that gesture would have been automatic when making a purchase the size as a new car. Other than that, I would highly recommend Durand Chevrolet to everyone in their car purchasing process.

I walked into this dealership after dealing with the normal used car dealership games at another dealership..Much to my surprise from the moment I walked in everyone was very friendly, I explained what i was looking for, what I had for a cash down payment, and what I had for a trade and asked if there was anything they had that fit what I was looking for, I was half expecting the games to try and get me into a different type of vehicle but nothing of the sort, Mark showed me a pickyup that was on the lot and let me test drive it. Long story short I walked out of the dealership driving the truck and more then satisfied I wish I had gone directly to them to begin with, they were not pushy at all and actually worked with me.

Buying a new car should be fun but the process is usually anything but. I purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox in July 2012 from Durand Chevrolet and I couldn't be happier. Working with Al, Joe, and Mark the process was smooth and transparent. I had researched trade-in values and new car prices and Durand was right in-line giving me fair figures for my trade-in and the Equinox. Joe explained my financing options and at time of sale explained the paperwork thereby making the process straight forward and easy to comprehend. Mark and Al were both informative and helpful during my test drives. At delivery Al went above and beyond spending a lot of time with me answering questions, explaining the various functions, etc. of my Equinox. After delivery I went back to Al with more questions (I've never owned a vehicle with so many features!)and he was again very helpful. Al has also followed up via phone calls to ensure all is well! Never before has a car salesman provided such outstanding service to me.The personnel at Durand Chevrolet are courteous, professional, and knowledgeable and I highly recommend this dealership.I plan to have my Equinox serviced at Durand so I do hope the Service personnel and service are on-par with my sales experience!

I purchased a used Corvette, both Mike and Rob were excellent and truthful in the representation of the car and the price negotiations. At the conclusion of the negotiations I felt that the price I paid was fair and confidant that the vehicle had been properly inspected and repaired, to my satisfaction. We got a 2005 Honda Civic 60K for a great price! Since this was my first very own purchase, Sal was very patient with me and explained anything that I needed clarification with. For final paperwork we went to Joe Mazzapica, he was awesome and gave us his personal advice about choosing car insurance by relating what he did for his kids. Very personable man, which made it easy to ask him for advice. Both employees were very energetic, friendly, and made sure we got the best deal they had to offer. My wife and I have been customers of Durand Chevrolet for over 14 years in that period we have purchased five new vehicles from Durand Chevrolet. My most recent purchase was a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse and my sales professional was Mark Rebidue. Mark could not have made the process any easier and enjoyable. I started my vehicle review by taking a visit to Durands lot on a weekend so that I could look at each vehicle at my leisure. I made notations of the vehicle stock numbers that I was interested in and then went online to search for those specific vehicles so that I could compare the various options. I then called Mark and told him which vehicle I wanted to test drive. When I pulled into the lot, I could see that Mark had the vehicle ready for my test drive.After my test drive, we negotiated a purchase price and trade it that was fair and reasonable. I then met with the Business Manager Joe Mazzapica who had all the paper work ready. Joe is a very organized and methodical individual. I know that from prior experiences that the paper work associated with the purchase of a car can be a little overwhelming but Joe had all the documents properly marked for signature. You can certainly appreciate Joes commitment to customer service and you can see the pride that he takes in his work in ensuring that every detail of the sale has been covered.What has always been important to us after the sale is the service for our vehicles. During the past 14 years, we have had our vehicles serviced ONLY at Durand. Although all service personnel are very respectful, we have known Josh Claflin the longest. He has always been truthful and honest regarding all aspects of our repairs and we cannot recall an incident when we had to bring our vehicle back a second time for the same repair. Some people might say that we have been lucky we like to think they are that good!Customer loyalty is still valued and there are dealerships that recognize how important this intangible asset is when everything else is equal.

I brought my car into the dealership to have my transmission fluid changed and to have the lock on the passenger rear door checked. The door had suddenly stopped locking/unlocking causing me an issue with getting my new baby in and out of the car. I knew I needed to get this fixed but had been scared about the cost of the repair as friends had told me that the door had to be taken apart to fix the issue. The car is about 30K over its warranty so I knew that this was a repair I would have to take care of on my own.When I got to the dealer, I met with Josh (who was super-nice) and when I talked to him about the door repair told me that there may be something that GM could do to help me with correcting the lock.It ended up that, though my car was outside of the warranty period, GM paid for the majority of the repair and the new parts were now under warranty for a year.If Josh hadn't looked into this, I would have paid the full amount for the repair and never had known that this option (GM Goodwill Repair) was available to me. I appreciate the effort he put in and his customer service skills.This was my first visit to the Durand dealership and I will definitely be going back for future maintenance/repairs.

Did not purchase my 2012 Camaro at Durand, but that didn't matter to them, they treated me like I would expect to be treated if I were a long time customer, or even a family member. Service demeanor, approach and results are excellent. They are very competent and caught issues and offered other advice which was very accurate. My only regret is that I did not purchase the car from them in the first place, but will in the future. I base most of my opinion of dealers on their service department and they don't disappoint.They offer a very cordial drive-home service AND PICK UP AS WELL! This is outstanding and a real differentiator.

Brought my boss' van in to a local garage for an inspection sticker. They said something was wrong with electrical system and to take the van to a dealer 'cause it was under warranty. I drove to Duand, spoke with Dave Pepin who told me the '08 van was no under warranty but because it had low mileage of 9,575 they'd take a look and warranty it. All it was was just a fuse!Dave had me in and out of the dealer in less than 15 minutes.I've never been to this dealer before but I will definitely come here when we buy our next van.Great people and great service!

I began servicing my vehicle at Durand and was pleased with their efficiency and quality of work. When I was in the market for a new Equinox, I did my research and found that they had the vehicle I wanted at a lower internet price than other local dealers. I contacted a very personable Mike Peloquin, who guided my through the process. Bob Morrill gave me a trade-in price that was right in line with what I expected. All paperwork was processed quickly and Joe Mazzapica explained warranty and service options concisely. This was one of the least stressful car buying experience I've ever had. I first meet Brian Butka, Rob Morrill, and Joe Mazzapica a year ago at Durand Chevrolet when I was reviewing my options on replacing my 2003 Intrepid instead of making the great expense of repairing it. Our meeting was brief, only about 15 minutes and they presented me with a 2007 Malibu. I was interested in an Impala, but there was not one in my price range. The Malibu LS was in great shape and both my wife and I were happy with it. However when the CEO of my company realized that I would rather repair my car they decided to put the entire cost of repair at the company expense. I was no longer in the need to purchase a new car. I thanked the staff of Durand Chevrolet and Durand Chevrolet respected this decision and invited us to return if we changed our mind. A year later my wife and I was ready to make a purchase of a newer car. We knew exactly what we wanted, a 2007-2009 low miles Impala but we were not looking forward to going through the process of dealing with car dealers. We started the same dealer that we purchased our Intrepid 10 years ago. The experience was an unfriendly one; all of the people we worked there ten years ago were gone. We were offered things that we were not interested in. We even tried to work with a close friend who worked for the same dealer over five years but he was more than 40 miles away and he did not have what we wanted, and then I remembered Durands invitation.When I walked into the show room of Durand Chevrolet it was as if a whole year has never pasted. Brian Butka, Rob Morrill, and Joe Mazzapica picked up from our 15 minute meet from a year ago. Not only did they remember my name, but they remembered that I was interested in the Impala. With-in 5 minutes they provided me with a 24 hour test drive in a 2008 low miles Impala. The process of purchasing this car went very smoothly and affordable. The dealership respected my concerned of missing work and closing the process quickly. I would highly recommend this dealership and have already done so at work. I have already gotten positive feedback from a company that took their small fleet of trucks to Durands Auto Service Center.

This is my second purchase at Durand Chevrolet. Although a small dealer their prices are very competitive and their trade in allowance is generous (they love used cars, as they have a big used lot). If they do not have the color or features you want, they can get them quickly and easily. The staff is super friendly and it is a no pressure sales atmosphere. I will be back again when I am ready for a new car inn the future. We have used the service area and they are professional and reasonably priced. I love close to the dealership and always are willing to give me a quick ride home or a pick up if I need it. It's nice to go to a dealer with no games and no pressure to make the deal on the spot.

I will rate this dealer as the top notch of chevy dealers in the area. Why? Because when I went in I talked to Mr. Peloquin, who was friendly, knew the details about the car that I was looking for, he showed me that he knew his inventory and features of the car, better that I did ( and I had done the research before getting to the dealer), and he did the paper work and explained to me how to make the deal happen after I explained that I wanted to pay cash. Then, Mr. Morrill came to the game. He is the General Sales Manager, from whom I bought another car last year. He got the papers that Mr. Peloquin had filled and gave me the numbers for the car that I was interested in. He did the best that he could to get the car within range price for me. Both sales persons were honest, and told me what they could do and what they couldn't do. Price wise, I got the car under the suggested price by the manufacturer, but you know customers always want a little more... but that doesn't mean that they didn't do the best they could, and I considered it to be good enough as per for me to buy. Also, they gave me an excellent trade in value for my older chevy car, which also helped to convinced me to buy the new car.Last but not least, I worked with Mr. Mazzpica, who is the business manager in Durand. Mr. Mazzapica explained to me all the numbers offer me additional options that I could had chosen and their price. He recommended me all of them and I ended up getting some of the options and declining others. He did the paper work really fast, and everything was done, in less than 15 minutes.If you want to buy a car, for a fair price, where honest people will help you to choose, this is the dealership that I would recommend. I mean I had bought other chevys in the past. Like when I bought my corvette in 2010. The experience in that chevy dealer was the worst that I have ever had in a dealership in my life time. The dealer's name? Cargill Chevrolet in Putman Ct.Mr. Morrill, Mr. Peloquin and Mr. Mazzpica restored my faith in the Chevy brand. That's how good my experience was.

This was my first visit to Durand Chevy in Hudson. I did not purchase my vehicle from them however I decided to take my vehicle to them for maintenance/oil change/repairs, etc. From start to finish everything went very smoothly. Josh was very attentive and addressed my concerns. I also felt no pressure at all as far as having additional services done that weren't really necessary. After my car was inspected, Josh went over the results and explained the next steps clearly. Obviously Durand's staff has a high level of integrity. I visited another local Chevy dealer recently and they tried to sell me on new brakes and tires. Funny, because when I took it to Durand, I was told my tires and brakes were in decent shape. Durand Chevy has definitely earned my trust. I had an early morning appointment, and every staff member from service to sales to management greeted me and made me feel welcome. I suppose my only regret is that my vehicle wasn't purchased from Durand. I will know better next time though and when it's time for a new car, I will absolutely go to Durand first. I will also recommend them to my family, friends and co-workers whole-heartedly.

At Durand from the start, they listened, offered suggestions and were very congenial all through the sale process. This made me feel confident about their service department, which I have now been using for almost five years. I am especially pleased that they treat every one with respect - male or female. And they take time to explain what is going on, consult with you, and they are understanding about affordability. The waiting area, when needed is clean, comfortable and private. There is wi-fi but when needed, they have someone who can take me home and pick me up when the car is done. I really appreciate that extra type of service as I don't have someone to drop me off.I highly recommend this dealership for sales and service. They are the best in the area.

Went to the dealer on a reccomendation of a coworker and was looking to find a good used vehicle. After looking at the web site I found one I was interested in but when I got there it was no longer available. My Salesmen Brian took my name and what I was looking for. Shortly after the holiday he called to say that he has a vehicle coming in on trade in the next week and thought it was something I would like. He called the day it came in and I went to look at it. I ended up taking it for a drive later that day and purchased it. They gave me a fair trade on my current vehicle as well as a good rate for finance. The best part of the entire experience was there was never any pressure and they answered all of my questions without hesitation. This may be by far my best experience at purchasing a vehicle and because of that I will go back for service and then eventually a replacement. We began our search for a truck at another Chevy dealer in Auburn, closer to our home. We did not have a great expeirence and it felt like the typical car sales stories you hear of all the time. We then went to another dealer for Toyota again closer to home, same thing only they didn't seem interested in selling a truck at all. That price on the website is cash only. Hmm how many people are walking around with $25k these days. We had heard about Durand from some friends who really liked it and I did some research online to make sure the truck we wanted was in stock. Mark was great he made the process simple easy and hassle free. We got the truck we wanted and felt like we got the best deal we could for our trade along with the price of the new truck. Happy and Grateful l are not GOOD ENOUGH words to describe my experience at Durrand Chevrolet. The entire staff was pleasant and helpful. I was referred to Joe Mazzapica from my sister and her boyfriend. My situation was a difficult one, given my credit history and the fact that I live out of state. I was in need of a new vehicle fast because my 02 Ford was really starting to die on me. I dealt with a dealership in CT before I went to see Joe and I'm kind of sorry I did. The sales team was kind of pushy and talked down to me with my situation. I would have saved myself so much stress if I had just visited Durrand first. Joe was able to work with me to get me into a 2007 Mazda 6 that not only is RELIABLE (which was really all I was looking for), but one that I was HAPPY to leave with because it was in such a clean condition! He really did go above and beyond what I was expecting. I LOVE my new car and in the future, when I need a vehicle again, Durrand will be the first place I go, even if it is 45 mins away from home.

Durand Chevrolet did a nice job in selling me my new car. They honored the AAA price and didn't try to wear me down or only speak with my husband instead of me. They backed off on the communications when I initially came in and told them I was just looking which was the reason why I came back when I was ready to buy.

There is never any pressure to purchase a vehicle on the spot, and they are more than happy to answer all of your questions to help you make an informed decision. Mark is always great to deal with- he's very easygoing, which makes the experience much more pleasant than any other dealership I've ever worked with. Mark also took the time to thoroughly go through my new vehicle. It isn't likely that we'll ever purchase a vehicle elsewhere. I purchased a used 2008 Malibu and had to bring the car in several times for service. Once for a steering wheel problem and three times for key pod issues. Each visit, Josh took the time to explain everthing to me and even gave me a loaner car so I could get to work and back to the dealership to pick up my car. Visited several dealerships; The Toyota guys were too pushy, the Nissan guys didn't even have what we thought we wanted on the lot. Tried Bertera and were very pleased! No one "attacked" us; several guys were just hanging around (it seemed). We approached Sal, and asked him if he was a salesman. From there it was a wonderful association. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. We were missled from our first visit there. We were then pushed into buying something we didn't want, which we didn't buy. We were contacted by several different people, all of them being on the wrong page, with different things to say. No communication within the dealership. I definately would not recommend this dealership to my family and friends.

Went just to look for a newer car, and The Mark was able to get me into a 2011 up from a 2008 for $2.00 more per month. He was able to keep me within my budget range as requested. Joe handled all of the financial dealings and, allthough I had some slight credit issues in the recent past, he was able to secure me a loan at a very attractive rate enabling me to maintain my low payment price. I had a few minor issues with the car, but Mark worked with the service department to correct them with little or no charge. This is my 3rd vehicle from Durand Chevrolet and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Great selection of vehicles and if they don't have what you want they can usually find it for you. Great job Guys!!!

Anytime I've had to have my car serviced, it has been a great experience. I had been looking for a compact car without extras for over a month, namely a clone of my 2001 Hyundai Accent. I encountered every sales trick in the book from many dealers and different makes of automobiles. The new Hyundai's were especially bad and they discontinued my car. The new Accent is a big and more expensive car "loaded with features". The only car that was close was a $21,000 Volkswagen Golf. I can't understand why more compact economy but good cars aren't selling. Jackie Barrera went out of her way to get me exactly the car that I wanted. My new Aveo is a clone of my old car. She really put herself out and I will recommend people to see her when looking for a new car.I am very pleased with the car that Jackie got for me. However, the sales manager, Rob went after me like a pit bull with the pricing and hidden costs. I was buying something within my budget and there is a recession even looking like a depression coming. I bought a $14,000 car but at the checkout found out that I was over $19,00 in debt. That is why I checked off 2-bad for the price. I wonder if I had been more aggressive whether I could have gotten a better deal, or some of the hidden costs shaved down.

This was by far the most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. The transaction was smooth with no frills and the sales team was absolutely wonderful. I needed new tires for my vehicle and ask for service, and was connected to Joshua Claflinspoke to him about tires that I wanted, and he made some reconditions, and set up an appointment to install them..Day of install decided to have the vehicle inspected, and there was a check engine light on.Was very happy with my new tires, inspection, The check engine light they had Diagnose, I had a leaky gas cap. they replaced.before they do anything they all ways let me know of any additional cost, before they do the work.Very happy with the service at Durand, and never have my vehicles serviced anywhere else.Two weeks later the check engine light came back on, I called Joshua, he apologized for my in convince and quickly set a appointment for the flowing day, they diagnosed it as a faulty valve on the gas tank and was replaced under the vehicle warranty, and was no additional cost to me .There sales & service Department is wonderful, and recommend them to everyone.

My engine light came on AND engine was not running right, I was told my vehicle carried a 100,000 power-train warranty. The problem was found to a spark plug and wire which are housed under the engine and NOT suppose to even be or need a tune-up until 100,000 (per Chevrolet at that!!!) However, both the dealer & Chevy refuse to take ownership of that faulty equipment & insist it is my problem & I am to pay the repair cost. ~Now, would I recommend this dealer after this? Yes, I would, the dealership itself is wonderful, the salesmen are some of the most knowledgeable, honest and VERY helpful individuals. Their prices are competitive and they are great to work initial numbers by. Would I refer the service dept?? That, I have to honestly say, I have mixed feelings on. After I made more phone calls than I should of, a pounding head ache, etc... I finally received a call that they would reduce the initial amount some. I thought that was a nice gesture, but ultimately I still paid to have a faulty wire & plug replaced on a 2008 vehicle with only 45,000 miles on it... so for that fact, I am very unhappy, I feel they could have made the right calls to have that covered & I really feel they chose to not. ~just my opinion, and I do feel this is a great all together dealership, I believe that decision was poor one. ~Christine Crue I would recomemnd working with Sal for sales (he was wonderful) and Josh in service (was great too!)

Very satisfied with the service. Second time on a warranty item I just stopped in, he told me to leave car(with no appt. that day)gave me a rental so I could go to the dentist and when I returned back my car was ready for me. Repaired, test driven and was told to call him any time I had a problem. Great service, professional, friendly and listened to my trouble with the vehicle. As a first time buyer with a limited budget and.certain criterion I was listened to intently and then given reasonable options instead of being.told I was unreasonable as I was told in other places. I own a small business that relies on mostly vans and a couple of pick-ups. If those trucks are not working niether are we. I have used several repair shops and dealers in the past and have found that Durrand has been great to deal with. They are able to turn my trucks around very quickly with almost no botice. They have helped with tows, rides, and loaners when needed. I have purchased at least 4 vans from them in the past 2 years and the process was fast and simple. This was a normal Oil Change and Parts Purchase, but the part that knocked this down is the fact that I had to pay $72 for a replacement Key Fob which is a HUGE markup, but then I had to pay $30 for them to configure the new Key Fob to my car. This configuration service took a total of two minutes. Thirty bucks service charge...on a seventy-two dollar part, when the service only took two minutes! That is excessive.UPDATE - Friday 06/10/2011After posting this review, I received both a call from the Service Department and an email from the owner of Durand Chevrolet. Josh, in Service, was following-up on my ratings and my comments. He stressed that if I have concerns about price in the future I should raise them immediately, right at the Service Desk, and they will try to resolve my concerns immediately. Rick Durand's email also expressed that they wanted to resolve my concerns, and he offered a refund of the $30 Service Charge. This was excellent follow-up from Durand Chevrolet, and it's the reason I'll be going back there for future Service and car shopping.

One and a half years later I had a warranty repair issue and Durand handled it with GM like they were on my team and were pulling for me. Great experience. Very laid back salseman, that was NOT PUSHY! They were willing to bring in a vehicle from elsewhere that met my specifications and gave me the price I wanted. They met the lowest price we got from other dealers and then beat it. The entire process was painless and stress free. There is also an area for your small children to play which also helped the process. The were genuine and friendly. I have bought a few cars in the past and this was by far my best experience. There are several reasons why to go to a dealership; purchase a car (new and/or used) and get your car serviced.We've purchased purchases multiple cars from Durand; Malibu, Malibu MAXX, Equinox, and Lumina. In each case, the sales pitch was low pressure and we could just wander around and look. If we had a question, the person involved would answer. Mark was very helpful with our last purchases.But, the main reason why I stick with Durand is service. Many dealerships claim that they care about their customers and that they try to do great service. I then see THOSE places not follow through. Josh and Dave and the rest of the service group DO follow through.How? They accurately determine what is wrong with the car (if any). You can look at the parts. They will walk you through the issues. But, they don't force things on you. They will indicate that you might be able to go 6 more months with those tires or that the air filter (while better if changed) could wait.And, in all cases, they are friendly.Would I purchase another car from Durand? Yup, I already have. Would I take my car in for service to them? Yes. I know that I can trust them whether it is an oil change or a wheel bearing repair.

I had a very good experience at this dealership. I was greeted in a non-pushy way and with a smile. The entire atmosphere was relaxed and I did not feel that anyone at the dealership was stressed out and that they enjoyed their jobs. This put me more at ease and made the experience one in which I felt that I was not being pressured into the sale. I had originally not intended to purchase the vehicle that day, but to come back later in the week. This was not met with any resistance or higher pressure sales pitch saying that it won't be here for me unless I take it now. The dealer understood and agreed that if things are meant to happen, then they will work out somehow (which is my belief). I was not criticized for it and he said that if it was still here when we (my wife and I) were ready to buy it, then they would be happy to see us and help us. If it wasn't still available, then they would help us find something else if they could. I will almost certainly be buying my next vehicle from them and from Ken Brown in particular if he is still available in a few years.

Durand's Service Department was pro-active from the outset of our last visit. Josh asked questions and listened carefully to my responses to insure that I was giving him the information he needed to avoid wasting my company's money on unnecessary and costly diagnosis. Also, his timing projections about parts arrival was on target so that we had our vehicle back in the timeframe requested. He also worked with me to set up a plan B in case things went wrong in parts shipping.The work was done efficiently and well. This time most of the work was on warranty, but they checked out every one of my observations about the vehicle's problems. We have done business with Durand a few times before and have been pleased with the quick service, reasonable charges, and friendly atmosphere. My sales experience at Durand Chevrolet was good. There were a few minor things that initially put a slightly negative taste in my mouth, but at the end of the day it turned out well and favorable.Ken Brown was very good, not very pressuring. The price of the vehicle was $13,942 and I offered $14,500, which was the price based on Edmunds.com. They offered me $1,000 for my trade-in, which just about what Edmunds.com had suggested. Other sites such as KBB.com had higher amounts for both, but I find that site's estimates to be a bit on the high side. We ended up splitting the difference.When Ken went to talk to Rob, the finance or sales manager, I heard him say in quite a loud tone, "I offered him a $1000, what else does he want?" I then said, "excuse me, I can hear you."The rest of the sale process was good, not pressuring, I just haven't figured out why a person would be so loud when the customer can hear them.The only other thing I found a little strange was my request for new wipers was not honored until it was time for the inspection, which it needed to pass. Overall a great experience, and I would highly recommend.

I recently traded in my 2004 Impala that had over 200k miles, which had been serviced for over seven years by Josh and the service department. About a year ago I was considering the trade, and Mark Rebidue was great about letting me try out a used car for a day. i called to ask the service dept. if they service non gm vehicles,dave answered my question right off the bat.told me they serviced every make & model to the best of there ability.i asked them how much would it be for an oil change on my toyota ,he gave me an estimate,i asked them how long to perform service,and when can i get it it for service,he told me they had a couple of cancellations,they could do it that day,i scheduled it with him,he asked me if i knew where they were located,i told him i was familiar with the area,i arrived for my appointment,dave greeted me with a smile,proceeded to write up my vehicle,asked me if there were anything else i needed to have looked at on my vehicle,they got the car in right on time,in doing the service they saw a couple of minor issues,he explained them to me and i rescheduled to have them performed at a later date.(i like the honesty)

My 2007 Impala was running rough and was pulling to the right. I called Durand Chevy to schedule routine maintenance (oil change), state inspection, and mentioned that the vehicle was running rough and could they check this out and let me know what was the problem. Service asked me a couple quiestions and scheduled seervice for the next day.I arrived at 8:00 AM and was greeted by Josh who promptly helped me and took the necessry information. He then then made arrangements to trasnsport me home.A little later, Josh called with the news that I had a defective tire (was ready to blow out). and that he recommended replacing 2 tires, and a front and back alignment as both needed adjustment. He also mentioned that the car should be ready later in the afternoon.I called arounhe bottom line was.d 3:00 PM to see how work was going and was told that they just had to do a road test and that it should be ready in about 1/2 hour.We were puilling intothe dealership to pick up the vehicle when Josh called on my cell phone to tell me that my car wasa ready. I entered service and Josh was ready for me with the paperwork. He explained to me what they had done (how bad the tire was) and what the price was. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost (465.00) as my wife had guessed about $750.00 and I had said we would be lucky if this was the amount.Driving home the car drove like it was new.I was fully satisfied with my service experience at Durand for this visit which is generally the case for my visits to DurandFrank

I first went to Durand Chevy in 1998 to buy my first truck. I knew what vehicle I wanted and I called around to locate it, probably 6 dealers. Durand found my vehicle the next day with the exact specs that I gave them and their price was extremely competitive. When I called about the problem I was having they expalined that it was covered under an extended warranty and ordered the necessary parts right awya. When the part was in, they had me come in the same day andf made the replacement in very little time. Since it was under warranty, I can't tell musch about the pricing hence I rated it as OK. Durand was wonderful from the moment I walked in the door. I was greeted warmly by all employees and had someone assisting me right away. Mark really helped me out I told him I was looking for a new sedan to replace my suv because the gas prices were getting so high and he assisted me from the very beginning. During my most recent experience I was able to call and schedule a next day appointment for a routine inspection plus maintenance service (I ended up needed a new wheel bearing). The services were performed and my car was ready and running smoothly the same afternoon. Brian Butka is a very good salesman,one I have used on many occasions. That is why he was the first person I decided to visit when looking for a new truck. He took the time to show me a variety of trucks and explained all the differences before I decided on one particular model. I just have one more problem, the passenger rear door doesn't open from the inside now, it has to be opened from the outside, which I will have fixed soon. Before, the same door would not open with the remote lock/unlock.

These visits in the past have found a few items to fix while the vehicle was still under warranty. Nothing came up as needing repair and the check and oil change were done in under an hour while I waited. It's always easy to get an appointment a few days ahead of time and both service advisors will get the vehicle in and out quickly if you're waiting.Price is competitive and Durand sends out coupons regularly to save on common services such as LOF and $10 wildcards for other services. They honor competitor coupons too.

I found the employees very friendly and accommodating. The morning of my appointment I wanted to change from 3:00 pm to sometime in the morning and they accommodated my request cheerfully. They told me the work I needed done would take 1 hour and it took 1 hour. Very happy all around.

I've bought 3 cars here and get all my service here. I've bought cars at 3 other dealerships but never receive the same level of honesty and sincerity as I do at Durand. I have a hard time remembering names but EVERYONE I've dealt with there is very professional and personable.

I hate buying cars. This time I was giving up a car I liked (time to go) and wasn't sure what make or model I wanted. I went to Durand on the advice of my mechanic who said they were straight shooters and good to work with. So true! Dean was patient in giving me the time and attention I needed and was very helpful in my decision making process - no hard sell at all. I was particularly happy when testing a used car that he validated my observation that it seemed very loud. I've had other salespeople deny my experiences. Once I decided to buy a new car, Dean introduced me to the owner. After getting home, I called Dean and asked for a different color. He made that happen with no fuss at all. When I went in to pick up the car, he introduced me to people in service and the office, which helped me feel comfortable for future dealings with Durand. Dean helped me get acquainted with the car's features. The paperwork went smoothly as did the inspection. great experience and I love the car (Equinox)

I went in to Durand after seeing some of their used cars online. Sal came right over, let me test drive some cars and talked openly and honestly about them. He was very knowledgable about all of their cars used and new. He worked with Joe, got me a great deal and great financing right where I wanted to be. I had one problem with the car, left a message for Sal, he called me right back and brought me over to service. They got everything fixed under warranty. I truly appreciate everyone's honest, friendly approach. I never once felt pressured, in fact I felt like they were on my team! I highly reccommend anyone buying a used or new car to stop by and give them a shot. They have a great selection of cars at really great prices. Even after the sale, they had everything ready for me the next business day and they took the time to make the car look new. What a great attention to detail.

re: Customer Service -- the service itself was great, the reason for the '4' was that I thought I had to wait too long (I waited for the car), it was approximately 2 hrs.re: Price -- the price for the service (LOF) wasn't bad, and it won't stop me from returning. However, I can get that service elsewhere for less cost.re: name of Employee worked with -- I'm sorry, but I don't remember. However: as you face the service desk there are two people; my service person was to my left. I know from the automated telephone system that their names are Josh and Dave, but I don't know which is which. re: all categories -- I asked for two items in addition to the LOF, to have my personal tire pressure gauge checked for accuracy and to have service do a test drive to see if they could detect slippage in the transmission. Both additional services were performed, and Josh (or Dave?) gave me a thorough report on them, also discussed tire wear, in a very friendly, helpful, and informative manner.

My sales experience was wonderful, but with in the 30 days of purchase and I opened the sun roof in February, I realized it did not work properly. I know I should have tried sooner but every time I was at the dealer it was raining or snowing so did not think of it. As soon as I realized I called my salesman. Such a gentleman. I drove it over, it opened but was definately getting "stuck", but as he said working. I drove away. On the way home tried again, did not work again called. Brought it back a few days later. Arranged to be looked at by service, now my thrid trip back. Once there, they had it for 4 hours called me was not covered by my warranty. Had words put in my mouth, lied to by the sales manager and then hungup on. The worst thing is they are not making it right for a disabled veteran. Thanks guys won't be recommending you to any one and you are also making the typical car salesman look bad. Buyer beware!!!
