i did write a review on thursday jan 7th 2016 but i guess it didnt take. ..8 days from last thursday i spoke with a great gentlemsan named t j asking about a 1989 lincoln town i had seen advertised by d a m . i am from florida, so i was skeptical about buying a car from just pictures. asking all kinds of questions about the condition of the car etc etc. from the description of the car as described by tj, it was that car that the lil old lady only dove to church on sundays. yeah right sure it was. t j god bless you my friend YOU WERE NOT KIDDING. even the transport carrier driver i had to hire to get the car here couldnt belive it. and i was atunned when i seen the car, GOD BLESS YOU TJ. for all your help and for putting up with my questions. you have a friend for life here tj. if you are ever coming to florida and need a place to stay just let me know when. you made my christmas buddy. i never expected the car to be that good . hope you hit the billion dollar poerball tonight my friend. the very best to you. jerry white from florida

8 days ago i contacted d a m to speak to them about a 1989 lincoln comtinental they had for sale. i am from florida. i spoke with gentleman named t j , and god bless this man. all the luusy stories you heard about car salesman DO NOT FIT THIS MAN he is a jewel.....helped me in every way..ws a bit skeptical about the description and condition of the car in the way he discribed it........WAS BETTER THEN I EXPECTED. as i bought the car over the net from pictures only. had to hire a transprt company to pick it up and deliver it which tj was a great help on. . even the driver remarked what a great find of a car. if you are looking for a great find og a car do not hesitate or be afraid to deal with D A M and be sure and ask for t j . ......thank you again t j . and god bless you. got the car delivered today and am SOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY. the best to you t j .wsnt rsly shopping for car but glad i seen this in the net. jerry white from florida

I would highly recommend buying an automobile from Durham's Auto Mart. The entire process of the car buying experience was as smooth and comfortable as it gets. The 08 Tacoma I bought from T.J. & Toby was everything I was looking for & then some. The honest, hassle-free price was just icing on the cake. My father came with me and loved the family dealership so much that he is in the process of buying a truck from them as well. They even checked on us to make sure we were ok after driving four hours back to Asheville in the pouring rain. Most comfortable dealership I encountered on my search + perfect truck = extremely happy customer. Thank you guys so much.

TJ and Toby were absolutely great. They made this process fun, exciting, and easy for us as first time car buyers. I found the vehicle on Cars.com and quickly sent them an email the day I saw it. Within a few hours I had been emailed and called back. From the first day until a week later when we actually met, TJ was always up front on everything, respectful, and went out of his way to make this car buying experience worthwhile. The day that we went and test drove and purchased the car he stayed past his usual work hours to help us through the process and just made my family feel really comfortable. The service alone is a reason I recommend you trying this place out. The cars were in incredible condition, especially for its age, and they had it running and looking great. The 6 month, 7500 mile warranty was just icing on the cake. If you are looking for a used car that will look good, run good, and get you where you need to go, go see the guys at Durham Auto Mart and they'll hook you up.

From start to finish this was a great car buying experience. After doing business with large dealerships I was concerned about going to a smaller dealership. I was wrong - This expereince was so much better. No hassel we were in and out, staff was pleasnt and easy to work with. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that this was by far the best car buying expereince.

This was by far the best buying experience I have ever had when buying a car. The sales team was very nice and helpful with this purchase. Made me and my wife feel like family! Tj was the best and I when ready for another vehicle will go to Durham Auto Mart for it.I would highly recommend if you are in the market for another vehicle you really need to go here first! I'm not one to put in ratings for car dealerships, but I think Toby Durham deserves mention. I sold my 2007 Toyota Tacoma to Mr. Durham recently, and my experience could not have been better. Mr. Durham assessed my vehicle above any value the others would take and ensured it found a great owner. I found Mr. Durham to be a man of integrity and strong moral character -- a trait that is difficult to find in the automobile industry.

Our experience with this dealership was wonderful. From start to finish, our sales person, Toby, was very professional and helpful. We made a long trip for a specific vehicle, and Toby remained in contact with us with updates and information. We appreciated the professionalism of the staff, and the process of test driving and paperwork was very smooth. I was in the market for another car because my old car broke down. I did not have time to go from lot to lot. My friend recommended me Durham Auto Mart. I want to mention that I am a person who works hard to earn my money. That why I demand excellent service. The first thing I had in my mind was a decent car, affordable and the most important thing was to find someone that could make me feel welcoming. When I meet Toby the sales person, he impressed me. He was well informed, good listener, solution-oriented, and friendly. He helped me to select the car with out pressuring me. The car was clean, with new tires; the leather and paint were neat. In addition, he provided me with a carfax report. The car I bought was AS IS but the dealership offered me the option of extended warranty for a reasonable price. I would recommend them to anyone.

My husband and I purchased a SUV from Durham Auto Mart last year. We were recommended to Durham Auto Mart because of our credit rating and was told that they could help us get financing. Well this was true but apparently when you have bad credit, Durham Auto Mart sells you trash. The vehicle we purchased have given us nothing but problems. Service was never done on the car althought they promised us it had been. We have had to repair a fuel pump, o2 sensor, radiator hose, and still waiting on the two missing headrests that were promised to us last yeaar. Thank GOD we purchased an extended warranty. The car they sold us was a PIECE OF TRASH!!

Arrived on the lot at 9:30. FINALLY left at 2:30. The deal was done by 10:30. Took until 11:45 to get the paperwork done to send to the bank to get financing. Took another 45 minutes to get that done and get a rate back. Apparently NC State game day is NOT a good day to buy a vehicle here. The salesperson was friendly and the girl that had us sign the paperwork was nice, everyone else made us feel like we were bothering them. Regarding the question about whether we would recommend them to a friend, maybe wasn't one of the options and only if I could warn them first.
