My grandmother is a lovely person but very difficult to work with. This is a woman who, upon being informed that the car we were interested comes with 10 airbags, requested that 6 of them be removed because she "only needs 4". Drew Hannon handled this and every other idiosyncratic comment and issue remarkably well. He *literally* has the patience of a saint. He wasn't pushy, was very well-informed about the dealership's products, and took pains to educate us about the vehicle we were interested in politely and respectfully. Post-purchase, he was diligent RE customer follow-up and even fielded some questions I had about going into auto sales. I would unreservedly recommend Drew (and this dealership) for those looking at Chevy and GM products. -Sam

I needed to get out of my BMWZ4 Convertible and get into a safe practical car before the winter. No other dealer wanted to work with me, NOT EVEN BMW!! This is my 6th lease from East Hills Chevrolet at Roslyn. I have nothing but HIGH praise for Andrew Hannon (sales rep) and Michael Gierum (Finance Dept). Andrew (aka Drew) was extremely knowledgeable about the new 2017 Equinox, which I was special ordered and leased. He got me the best deals. This is the second car I've leased from Drew. He kept me informed every step of the way as my Equinox was being built. If anyone is looking for Great Deal for a Chevrolet. Michael took care of the finances for the lease and all the paperwork. He went over each piece of paper that I had to sign to make sure I understood them. Between the 2 of them, I got a terrific deal and drove off with a brand new Chevrolet. Gus and Perry were very accommodating and made getting this lease as painless as possible. When i got car I was days away from giving birth and they helped me really make this process as smooth as it could have been. I was able to do a lot over the phone and only had to come in once to sign and get car!The only thing I would have changed was policy... that car is given to customers with gas filled up rather than given to customer with less than a half tank.

I ordered a new 2017 Camaro 2LT RS directly from this dealership with all the options customized. We built the car together for production and I waited 2 months.The car came in earlier than expected. However, the dealer immediately called to tell me that the car was missing an options package which was crucial to me (the technology package which included rear park assist sensors, and blind spot monitoring, among other things). East Hills Chevy genuinely apologized and worked with me to find other alternatives since I waited several months for the car. They offered me a significant discount to the new 2016 Camaro 2LT RS models in stock. These were substantially material discounts that were very hard to pass up. There was no real difference between these cars and the one I ordered outside of the color of the cars. I proceeded to ask them if they had an SS model in stock (the SS has a V8 engine). They got back to me after checking and offered me a new 2017 Camaro 2SS which had all the options I originally requested plus a few more, and was in the same color as my original order. They discounted this model for me as well. I decided to go with the 2017 Camaro 2SS as a result. I'm a much happier customer because the car has a V8 engine and the price, after the discount, was not much more than my original order. It ended up being a win win situation for both the dealer and myself.The one thing I came away from this experience is that Keith Williams and his colleagues are very genuine. This issue caused additional work for both parties, but they never once let me down and it was clear they were working hard to find the best solution for me. I was impressed at the level of customer service throughout the process. Keith even called me a few days later to see how I was liking my ride. It's an unbelievable car! If I ever buy another car from Chevy or have any questions, I'll be contacting Keith again.

He set up a test drive for me at my convenience, on a day that he was not in. I met Keith, who was pleasant and great to deal with. The communication between them was seamless. He spent alot of time with me and understood, my needs. He worked very hard to get me the best deal possible. I revealed to him that I was negotiating with a different dealer at the same time (who was not as nice and pleasant) and he was able to negotiate a better deal than the other dealer.When I went to pick up the car, I did not feel rushed and everything was explained in detail to me.I would highly recommend anyone looking for a Chevrolet to go to this dealership. Great sales team. My experience started with requesting to make an appointment for a test drive via on line late evening. Immediately that same night I received a response from the dealership team. The following day I had an appointment set up. As soon as I walked in the dealership I was greeted by the friendly sales team; Andy & Drew. Drew Hannon my salesman was super helpful, friendly, made me feel comfortable so I was not afraid to ask any questions, was honest so I felt I could trust him and shared options of three different price quotes. We went to this dealership upon recommendation of of a coworker who had a great experience with Eric Mendoza. We also had a great experience. Eric was well spoken, professional and very knowledgable of your product. He spent a lot of time with us and we never felt like we were being misled or pressured. We did not experience the "bait and switch" tactics that we had experienced at other dealerships. We explained to Eric that our purchase was out of necessity due to hardships in the family rather than a luxury purchase and he put together a deal that could fit our budget and work for us. We were able to get our car quickly. We were very grateful for this. We had a great experience with Eric. He is definitely an asset to your company. Everyone else that we encountered at the dealership was also very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this dealership and we will be back in the future. My only complaint was that my wife thought Eric was very handsome and I had to hear it all the way home!

I was looking for Chevy Cruze LT and the company was able to provide the vehicle without the fuss, fury, fluff and flurry, not to mention the hustle that seems to go in selling cars. All we can say is "God gave us a Miracle." Go and let Ricardo Evanson work it out. He and his team are Miricale Workers. We did not expect to come home with a car. Rick and his team said we can make it happen. He asked us what we liked. We went to the lot based on our pockets and looked at two cars. We picked what was affordable and comfortable. HE smiled and said okay. Still not believing he took us out for a test run. As we did the test run his okay was his way of saying it is yours. When he and the team finished working our deal (mind you never saw a team fight like this for a customer) they put the plates on and we drove home. Of course we signed the papers worked out the insurance and the rest is history. The payment was affordable and the interest rate beat out our local credit union. We won't tell you who that was but the city workers use these guys. If you want to be treated well and get the best bang for you buck. Take a ride out and see Rick. I quarantee you will come out smiling.

The salesman G Gordon at East Hills Chevrolet was very informative about this vehicle. He was very helpful and reliable in getting us the most valuable deal. I shopped around in many dealerships and the price and deal he gave me was the very best. He had no problem in spending as much time as needed to hear all of my requests that I had in buying and/or leasing a car. Also, he spent as much time needed in going over the vehicles features. (i.e. onstar, wifi, sirus radio and basic features the vehicle has to operate). I was very pleased and felt very comfortable and felt no pressure to purchase my vehicle.

After looking the internet for weeks we finally found the exact vehicle we were looking for. My fiance and I drove 2 hours and 100 miles to come take a look at the 2011 Chevy Exquinox. Walked in the front door and interupted a sales meeting at 8:30 on a saturday morning. Even though it was before opening time and they were all in the middle of a meeting we were nicely greeted and were asked to be helped. We apologized for interupting and was told that it was perfecly fine. Our salesman, Keith Willams, stepped out of the meeting to come over to help us. He was a huge help to us and very pleasant to work with. He was very knowledgable of the car and with the whole deal. We went for a nice test drive and knew it was the one we were looking for. Came back and started doing business. Scott Vigoda and Michael Gierum also helped out and again, both very very helpful and pleasant to work with. We were givin more for our trade in and they worked in a payment plan that we could afford. While paperwork was being written up they offered to send us out to lunch, so we did. When we came back Scott asked us for the bill and he came back with the money. They bought us our lunch just for buying the car from them. Was in for about 5 hours total and couldnt be any happier with the car, the experince, and they guys we dealt with. Everyone there was very nice and accomadating. Very happy overall with making the 2 hour trip there.

I have never felt so comfortable at a car dealer. Gus listened to what I wanted & pointed me to the car that had everything I wanted without alot of extras that i didn't. He was able to get me a payment that I was more than happy with the 1st time around without having to go through all the negotiating nonsense. Gus will be the only salesman that I & my family will ever go to when we need a vehicle. He is so easy to talk to & he actually made the experience fun. I had a wonderful shopping experience at this dealership. To be honest I haven't always thought highly of car dealers. It may be because I know nothing about cars. My husband and I planned to go to multiple dealers, shop around, do our homework... It is very rare to find such down to earth salespeople. Gus Quiones did not push us, answered all our questions, and made us feel very comfortable. My husband never buys anything on the spot, the fact that we felt comfortable enough to purchase our car the same day, and not shop around sys ALOT! In past experiences the salesman is sweet, then you talk to the manager or financier and they rob you. Not the case here. The manager Perry was very patient, understanding, and explained all our options multiple times. We were there for a long time with three kids! The other employees were so sweet, laughing, giving the kids balloons, and cat jokes! Thanks Graham and Rick!

I had visited 4 dealerships prior to East Hills Chevy including GMC and Dodge. The sales personnel gave me the impression they could care less if I purchased a car or not. At one dealership I was sent to the back parking lot to wander on my own and look at cars. This was the second Equinox East Hills has put me in, the first leased in 2013 out of their Douglaston shop, and I was happy to find my original salesperson Graham Calhoun still working out of their nearby Roslyn operation. I contacted him on a Thursday morning, told him what I had in mind, and within 3 hours we had cleared me through credit approval and Graham had a vehicle driven over from their inventory lot to Roslyn with exactly the options I most wanted. We test drove the car that afternoon, worked on the numbers, and made the deal. I picked up my new 2016 Equinox the next morning, about 24 hours after I'd made the initial outreach. Excellent service, and it could not have been more painless.

She really makes an effort to keep your experience with your purchase a great one. I've receive follow up call in the past from her just to see how I was enjoying my car. I called about a car. When to dealer that PM. Test drove a car. Talked about what was available. Pick a car. The salesman; Andrew, came back with several options. I decided on a 27 month lease. Signed the papers. Drove back home and they picked me and my old plates up and took me back to the dealership and I picked up my new car. The whole thing took 2.5 hours; start to driving home with my new car. What could be better ?

I did some searching on the computer before going to East Hills Chevy, so I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted and what they had available.Went thru, looked at the cars I was interested in - 2016 Chevy Malibu (new design) and Malibu Limited (prior years' design). Test drove the cars. Gave salesman; Andrew Hannon, the copies he needed for my discounts available - owner/lease of a non GM car, GM card points including additional $2000 on top of what I had. Drew did some work with the management team ad came back with 3 deals - 24, 27 and 36 month leases. Chose the 27 month lease, they called to transfer my insurance and the deal was done in like 1 1/2 hours. I drove home while they had the car prepared for delivery and Drew picked me up an hour later with my old plates and I had my new car, all within 2 1/2 hours start till home with my new car.I've known Drew for about 15 years. You won't do any better than him if you are in the market for a new Chevy.

I just purchased a 2015 Camaro 2SS. I wanted an affordable American sports car and narrowed my choices to the Camaro and the Ford Mustang. This was the first stop on my list of dealerships to visit. When I arrived at the dealership I was approached by salesman Ricardo Nelson. After explaining my reason for the visit he advised me of an amazing vehicle for sale which had just been discounted for November 2015. He provided with the cost analysis I requested against the vehicle I originally sought to purchase, which was at a lower price, that gave me the level of comfort I needed before making the purchase. The sale went through without pressure and his professionalism and constant follow-up communication with me is what I have been looking for since my first vehicle purchase in 1988, and there have been several since. I went in after looking at many other vehicle brands , to do some research on the Equinox ( Chevys 2nd best selling vehicle ) . I was paired with a friendly , non pushy salesperson , Ricardo Nelson , who took me for a test ride and then we discussed some leasing options on select trim levels. In a short time , I realized that the deals were very fair , and I decided to let this be the place to bring my business. They actually got the car that day and prepped it , and I was out the door in no time on my way to pick up my wife at the airport in a new car. Buying a car from these guys didn't suck. In the past I spent hours at the dealership and really, who wants to spend their day like that? I'm a woman on the go and I don't have much time. I spent maybe an hour at the showroom altogether and everyone is always really nice to me. I never got a pushy vibe or was treated in an icky way. They've always treated me with respect. I bought a couple of cars there. I really like the ongoing care in the service dept. It's all been great!

He was able to walk me through all of the options and model variations and he very patiently answered all of my questions. This is by far the best car buying experience my wife and ever had! East Hills Chevy in Roslyn staff were helpful, professional, and went well beyond the extra mile to assist us. Here is my complete experience.I started my car buying experience at the consumer reports website after reading the review and watching the video of the 2015 Chevy Impala. While I would be lying if I tell you I had no idea what I wanted to buy, this site definitely helped me made up my mind.Once I built the car to my specifications, it gave me saving certificates for three certified dealers who will honor the "TrueCar" prices. While I checked out the dealers (I sent several emails), one dealership immediately came forward as being very helpful. This dealership was East Hills Chevrolet located on Northern Boulevard in Roslyn, NY 11576. A lady name Caitlyn Coggins called me and setup an appointment for me to be seen at East Hills Chevy in Roslyn for the same day.That afternoon, my wife and I (we're both retired) visited the dealership and were welcomed by everyone. A gentleman named Graham Calhoun took us to his desk to assist us. My wife had two items which were not negotiable; color and interior. She wanted Champagne metallic and jet black leather for the interior ---they did not have such a vehicle. They had a black Impala 2LTZ in their parking lot but my wife wouldn't budge with her color selection.At this time, the Sales Manager Bob Schwarz came to Graham Calhoun desk along with general Manager Perry Katechis to meet us (Perry was previously assisting another customer). At this point I became skeptical that they can help us since they did not have the car we wanted. Graham asked us to give him a couple of minutes and him and Bob did an inventory search. They came back and told us they found the car meeting all our requirements. I did not immediately jump with joy since I know the TrueCar prices will only be honored for vehicles in stock. So this car probably will cost me an arm and a leg or the full MSRP price.When Gaham came back with the details of the available vehicle he told us that they will honor the TrueCar prices and wrote down a figure on paper which matches the cheapest price found by Consumer Reports / TrueCar site. Wow!!No hassle, no haggle, Graham did the right thing. My wife and I nodded and the paperwork was done. We purchased a brand new 2015 loaded Impala 2LTZ within 45 minutes since we walked in the place. Never in a million years would I have believed anyone telling me they bought a car within 45 minutes.Now an issue... my wife and I needed to be in Virginia for a family matter and our current car will be left for my daughter --which means when we returned to New York, we will not have a car. I live in Rockaway Beach and Roslyn is very difficult to reach via public transportation. So my wife and I voiced our concerns as to how to pick up the car the next week. Apparently that wasn't a challenge at all for the East Hills team. The manager approved a customer pick up and Graham volunteered to come in on his day off on Friday to pick us up from our residence in the Rockaways.At this point, it probably sounded like I got paid to write all these glowing reviews but I can assure you, I am one of the most critical customer and buyer you can get. After Graham picked us up, Mike Gierum the Finance Manager sat with us in his office and again, in record time of less than 15 minutes completed all the paperwork. Next Graham spent the longest time with us. No, not doing paperwork but sitting down with my wife and I in the car and went through every single system which we would need to know to operate the vehicle safely. He stayed for the registration of the Onstar system, pairing of my phone blue tooth and going through all functions of the Chevy Link and navigation system. We completely forgot that this salesperson is on his day off --we forgot simply because Graham did not show any telltale sign of being rushed. He did not stop the briefing until we were happy and we understood the car sufficiently.Kudos to Graham, Bob, Mike and the East Hills Chevy dealership team. Today, as I am writing this review, my phone rang and a voicemail from Caitlyn came on asking if we were satisfied. Upon walking into the East Hills of Roslyn dealership I really wasn't sure about whether or not I was interested in leasing a Chevrolet. Me and my husband sat down with a sales rep. who listened to us and our needs (very patiently), We spoke about how much we could afford and what color we wanted etc. Initially what we wanted was not available, which is when our sales rep (Erik Mendoza) started his search to get us what we requested and more!He took us for a drive and explained all the details of the car. When it was time for discussing fees there was no haggling, it was pain free -literally! The next day when the car came in - Erik picked me up at work drove me to the dealership gave me a full detailed explanation of the car and even helped set me up with on star and my blue tooth (I had no previous experience with this). Afterwards Erik assured me he would be available for any further questions I had, and that was no lie the very next day I called with some more questions and he was there to help. Honestly I can go on forever! Simply Amazing. Thank you

East hills has the worst service department ever, I will never take my corvette there again. Brought my car in for service telling them I haven't used the car for a year and to let me know what it needed, two hours later the service guy call and states that it will cost me $4800.00to bring the car up to speed, well I accepted. One week later drove the car home on a Friday and then on Monday my radiator fell from my car, brought the car back by towing it and then they stated that I must have hit a something ( only drove the car five miles) then I was told it will cost me a extra $3800.00 to fix!!! Three days later I drove the car home and it stalled on me, opened the hood and the whole air intake was loose. Never ever again I will trust this dealer ship they are thieves.

Received ad for possible early termination of lease on 2012 Chevy Malibu.Test drove the Cruze and found it to be roomier than old Cavalier and smaller than Malibu.The Perfect fit for our retirement years. Salesperson, Rick Evanson, stayed with us for several hours until the deal was finalized. Drove out of the dealership that afternoon with a new Cruze LT and a 24 month, 20,000 mile lease. Overall, the car leasing was a good experience. However, when I made the deal I was told it would be no problem for me to turn my car into East Hills and then one manager told me they would take my plates into the DMV no problem. Once I turned my car into them to handle that aspect of my deal (I kept my previous car an extra week), it was clear that it was an inconvenience to the team to take my old car back to Honda and they denied ever having told me that they could take my plate into the DMV. This made me feel like they would say anything to get the deal and then once the deal was made, they did not really intend to do what they said. Not a big deal, just giving feedback so you know how your customers are feeling. Would shop there again if I end up liking the car after owning for some time. But note, I am taking my car back to the dealership it came from b/c it seemed like such an inconvenient to the management team there to do it.

I was totally satisfied with my purchase of a new Malibu from East Hills. I contacted the dealer and gave Andy Boyes the trim, color, and options I was looking for. Andy had an exact match on the lot. When I went in I was anxiously expecting the hard sell with bloated charges for unwanted extras, But it never happened! We sat down like Gentleman agreed on a fair price and quickly closed the deal. I went over the bill of sale there were no surprises that family members experienced with other dealers. Upon picking up the vehicle later that day Mr. Boyes spent an extraordinary amount of time showing us all the features of our new Malibu. Andy took the time to make sure we were comfortable operating the car. There was a heavy downpour as we left the dealer and another salesman escorted my wife to the car so she would not get soaked. I was in the market for a used Suburban and had spoken to Sonia Mitsis on the phone about what was available and she kept me updated as to what was coming in and the prices, until I was able to get in to see them a few days later. When I did get to Roslyn, I met Dennis Clark, Gus Quinones, and finally Sonia Mitsis in person. They were complete professionals and helped me narrow down exactly what I wanted, and although they didn't have exactly what I wanted on site, Dennis hunted one down the next day that was exactly what I was looking for, and it turned out to be a lower price, newer year, and less miles then what I had seen. And after sitting with Mike Gierum for only a few minutes he had everything neatly buttoned up on the financial end. In the couple days it took for the truck to arrive, I called with questions that were always answered quickly. This was by far the easiest, most relaxing car buying experience I've had. I will be recommending them to friends and family, as they have a new loyal customer. This is the place to go for a new or used Chevrolet.

We came in to buy a cargo van for our business, and found that the one we had seen on line was already sold. The manager, Dennis Clark, told us he was getting another one in.We agreed on a price and Andy Boyes filled out our paperwork, and told us he would call us as soon as the van arrived. Two days later he told us Dennis had found a van we could with less miles on it that would be in the next day, and he would be able to give us a better price!! This never happens. The following day Andy called us to tell us the van ws ready for us to pickup. When we came to pick up the van, it was like new!! ndy introduced us to Mike Gierum, who handled our paperwork wuickly and efficiently/. from start to finish, everyone was friendly and professional. I have been dealing with the sales manager Perry for quite a long time now, around 16 years. I have follow him throughout all the locations he had worked in because he is the best I have worked with. He is very honest, he does what he says and I never had an issue at all. I have leased 5 trucks from him including my most recent. Most people write these review ONLY when they had an experience that wasn't to their liking. My spur of the moment decision to buy a new Chevy Suburban made me want to write this. My salesperson was extremely helpful in getting me what I wanted, the financing I needed, and dealing with the last minute changes that normally make a customer a nightmare. She was patient, the rest of the staff where extremely helpful, and the time to do all this was lightning fast. I could have had my car in 4 hours, but took a few days to think it over..........anyone who has had a problem with the staff of this dealership is either a whiner or is never happy. They made sure the overall cost was the lowest I was going to get without the traditional haggling. The vehicle was perfect when delivered and I was never rushed or forced into anything. I decided to come out to this dealership after 1 month of looking at used cars in the bronx and manhattan. I wasnt looking for any car in particular, more like a good used car with low miles and good price. I have been driving for 10 years and have had 6 different cars so i know what to look for and what a good deal is. The bronx and manhattan had good deals but most of the cars looked as if they were new trade in's and not serviced what so ever. I am a stickler for scratches and dents. There is no reason a dealership should have a car on their lot that has very noticeable blemishes unless its noted the car will be sold "As is". I came to east hills and not one used car on their lot had a scratch. I worked with Rick Evanson who showed me about 4 cars in my price range. In all the years driving ive never met a salesman who knew each car in and out. He got me a great deal and we were there less then 2 hours start to finish. I drove away with a 2011 Chevy Cruz with 28,000 miles fully loaded in amazing condition! If you are looking for a great deal, car and salesman East Hills is the place. Ask for Rick Evanson.

It started about 2 months ago when I ordered my Chevy Malibu LT. Drew kept me updated every step of the way. When it came time for me to pick up my car, they bent over backwards to give me the lowest price possible. Stay away from this place. This place is right out of the movies, a typical shady used car place looking to outsmart you at all cost. First of all their cars are not GM Certified. I saw an ad on cars.com and called the dealership if this car was available. The manager told me it was and I made a long trip to this dealership. Sure enough, the car was not available but there was only one similar car available for me to look at. We agreed on a price and I put a deposit down. Next day, I told the salesperson that I might be paying cash for the vehicle. They immediately told me that there would be a different and higher price if I'm paying cash. I would have to go through their financing to get the price we negotiated. Their financing is horrible, with high interests rate and a 7yr loan. The kept saying that i could payoff after 7 months. How stupid!! I would have paid a ridiculous amount of money just on interests a few months!! Told them the deal was off. Never saw my refundable deposit. I had to call the credit card company to dispute it. SCARY SCARY PLACE....

I went to this dealership because it is close to my home. My husband and I already own 2 Chevy cars that we were happy with but now wanted to upgrade 1 of those vehicles. We considered other car manufacturers but in the end went with a Chevy Equinox in part because the vehicle has had good reviews but more importantly because our salesmen, Graham Calhoun, was so nice. He took me on test drives in 2 different vehicles, helped my find just the right model for me, and didn't inundate me with sales calls after my initial visit (which was apx. 2 months before the actual purchase). This is our 4th lease through East Hills. We were very close to our allotted miles on our 2011 Suburban but had several months to go. I was thinking about buying a used Tahoe for some time and decided to visit a few dealerships. I went to a few before visiting East Hills in Roslyn and had one more left to go but I decided East Hills was where I was made to feel most comfortable. I've purchased a few cars in my life so I know "the game" that's played in many places. I know and respect going in they are trying to make a profit. It's a business. I'm trying to get the best deal that goes beyond just the date of purchase. From my initial meeting with Andrew "Drew" Hannon I was made to feel at ease, that there would not be any aggressive tactics and he was going to be straight forward. I prefer a straight forward no-fluff and no bulls*#t approach and I feel I got that. He answered all of my questions that day, my calls and emails thereafter and if he did not know something or was not sure he asked someone that knew; Dennis Clark or David DelVecchio. Two other guys that seemed to play it straight. We each laid out of what we wanted in terms of price, trade-in value and financing. We agreed to #s that worked for me and I walked away feeling that I bought a good truck from a strong dealership that if things did come up down the road I could call and they would be taken care of. I did make that my last dealership visited. Wish it was my first. I was assured enough to buy the 2011 Tahoe with two minor issues which the Douglaston service center took care of today. That just gave me another peek into their operation which reassured me even more about the kind of dealership and people I will be dealing with over the next few years. Highly recommended. A++

I have been dealing with Andrew Hannon since leasing a 2010 Malibu back in that year. At that time I found his knowledge, attitude, and friendliness to be paramount. Our family had been extremely satisfied with the recommendations he made as well as the particular vehicle we wound up leasing. It was for these reasons that we had returned to him in July of 2013 to lease another vehicle. Again, Andrew or "Drew" as we call him, was extremely helpful and aware of our special needs. My father has had medical issues causing his mobility to be limited. Drew was extremely patient with us as we had to go back and forth to the lot to choose our next vehicle and my father needed to take his time. Drew spent much of his time with us and he did not have to do this. Being in the sales field myself, I have seen many different types of salespeople and I would have to say that Drew falls under my list of one of the excellent salespeople. I would absolutely recommend this dealership specifically so that anyone whom I may refer would deal with Drew. We are very happy with our new Equinox! My daughter and I felt it was time to let go of our old problematic car so started car shopping. We really liked the 2013 Chevy Sonic LT Sedan so I began searching for a reputable Chevy Dealer. This led me to DealerRater.com where I found positive reviews left by many, on East Hills Chevrolet. They were highly recommended so I decided to contact them for a test drive. Being a single parent I had many anxieties going in. In addition, it was our first new car purchase so I was a bit apprehensive to say the least. That afternoon, we walked in to this very friendly atmosphere in Roslyn and sat down with Andy Boyes. We immediately felt comfortable with Andy, he listened and understood my concerns. We went out for the test drive and confirmed the Sonic was definitely for us. My daughter had her heart set on her favorite color. Andy and Bob Schwarz said not to worry, we were in good hands and theyll set out to make it happen. Me being me, I was still a little unsure if I would actually be able to take on the financial responsibility of a new car. However, Andy and Bob with the help of Michael Gierum promised to work with me and make it happen. I have to admit I was not the easiest person (borderline neurotic ha-ha!) but everyones calm and patient demeanor put me at ease and diffused my stress levels. Andy also handled the transferring of my plates, registration, insurance, etc. making the entire process go so smoothly. He reached out throughout the week, keeping me informed and letting me know all was working out fine. Bob kept in contact as well to reassure me. When the day of signing arrived, Michael took the time to explain in detail, all of the loan documents to us. After the signing and everyones gracious farewells, my daughter and I went excitedly to our new car! There, Andy sat with us going through all the cars features in such a patient manner. His knowledge of it was truly amazing and we were very grateful for all this information. Words really cannot describe how thankful we are. In the end, they delivered on their promises; we got the car, the color and the monthly payment needed. We just LOVE our new car! Thank you so much for making it happen! My fiance and I needed to buy a new car because my 2005 Altima died. We went to East Hills first and then went to Toyota and Honda. At Honda and Toyota we asked the price and tried to negotiate and they refused to do lower than their fist price. We decided to go back to East Hills and see Andy again and we test drove the Cruze and Malibu and Andy was courteous and professional the entire time. Finally we got down to price and started to negotiate. My fiance and I knew a price in our head and Andy finally asked what it would talk for us to sign on the line and shake hands. We put everything on the table and he was able to do well for us. We are very happy with our 2013 Malibu and the service Andy has provided so far. If he stays this good and East Hills Service department is as good then if need be when the time comes we could end up with another car from them.

I recently Purchase my new Chevy Equinox from salesperson Andy Boyes. He made my experience at East Hills Chevrolet a comfortable and relaxing one. I was in the market for a new car, and I was looking at all different types of car manufacturers. I feel that Andy truly helped me to choose Chevy as my vehicle company of choose. He not only helped me with adding all the options and features, but also took care of all the calls with my insurance agency Geico. I felt like I did not have to make any changes or decisions except on the color. He worked out a great price for me and broke out all the cost options. Andy is very knowledgeable in the Chevy industry, he let me know about the free services Chevy provides and even introduced me to the men and women who handle the service department in the the back. Needless to say, Andy made me feel like I was a member of his family. His relaxed demeanor made me feel more relax which allowed me to feel comfortable in making the purchase from Chevy. After all the final agreements were made and paper work was signed I was soon there after in my new 2013 Chevy Equinox. I felt safe and secure driving in my new vehicle after Andy explained all the safety feature and showed me all the features in my new crossover. I called the East Hills Chevrolet Dealership in Douglaston, but I reached the Roslyn location and first spoke to Graham. I told him that I was looking for a brand new Inferno Orange Metallic Chevy Sonic LTZ. He said that there was a Sonic LT in there lot that I should come and see, and I agreed. My husband, Jim, called and spoke with Graham and found out that the Sonic LT was actually previously owned but had only 5,000 miles on it and was in perfect condition. When I found out that the car was used I was not thrilled but Graham said that it would behoove me to come and take a look at it. At first I wasn't interested but then decided to see it that night. That is when we met Flavio Cepeda. He was very welcoming, friendly and also very informative. He took us out for a long test drive. He did not rush us at all. We really liked the car and how it felt on the road, but we still wanted to think about it, since some of its features were customized by the previous owner. The car was in perfect condition, but I wanted to see a new Sonic LTZ, just to compare and be able to decide. A few days later I received a call from Dennis Clarke in the "used car" division at Chevy. He wanted to know if I made a decision yet. I said that I had to see a brand new LT or LTZ first. Dennis said he would see what he could do. A day or so later I spoke with Dennis again and he said that Flavio located a new orange Sonic and drove to another dealership to get it so that I could see both cars together. We were very impressed with how accommodating Flavio and all the sales consultants were. When we went to see both cars, we met Wayne who was also very friendly. He brought both cars together, face to face, so that I could compare them. Although it was late in the evening, Wayne did not rush us at all. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and informative. I have to say, I was surprised that no one was pushing us to buy the brand new LTZ. They all just wanted me to pick the car that was right for me, in fact everyone seemed to like the features of the used Sonic LT. Lastly, we met David, in the finance department, and he was also very helpful, not at all pushy. He made suggestions but accepted what we decided without any tension whatsoever. Once I made my decision Flavio took the time to set up the Bluetooth and show us all the features inside the car. We are very happy thanks to everyone that made our experience a pleasure at East Hills Chevy on Northern Blvd in Roslyn.

Alex was wonderful and took me for a test drive and explained some of the differences between my new Malibu and the older Malibu. He also connected me with OnStar and blue tooth. Short I lost my car in the Hurricane in Oct. on top of that my credit is not exactly stellar but was referred by a friend to see someone at east hills. I went without appointment for a Used Malibu. Luckil for me they had it when I got there. I explained to the salesman and manger my situation and the immediately got the finance guy mike involved. He ran my credit and sent it in to a few banks as he promised but only got 1 approval and was for less than what the car was selling for . Needless to say after talkin w the manager I'm driving my car today 3 days later and they were able to certify the car for me. They saved me a lot of headache and helped me out along the way. Thanks mike ..my lucks changing

Went to EH to see if a car I saw online was available. I was told they no longer had it. That's fine by me. The salesman was very nice to show me other vehicles. The one vehicle they had was a bit more than what I wanted to spend. Told them thank you and walked away. Went back the following week looking to test drive the vehicle, which, by the way, drove beautifully. I was still not ready to make a final decision. The salesman kept asking me what is keeping me from buying it. Told him I was still in the exploratory phase. Kept feeling pressured to put deposit down. Finally, the finance manager came over and lowered internet price by $1K, which is still higher price than previously offered. Plus, they undercut my trade-in by $1500. Left a very bad taste in my mouth. Will still shop for the vehicle I want, but not there.

I purchased a pre-owned Range Rover HSE online from East Hills, the vehicled was in a very good condition, Smooth transactions and was able to ship the vehicle within 2 days of purchase. Very good price and very good customer service. Salesman Joe Barreiro was great. I highly Recommend East Hills Chevy of Roslyn.

Their way of doing financing leaves me very cold and disappointed. Twice I came over to talk to finance manager and was told he was busy. I was also told that EH Cheverolet would meet or beat any offer I had. WRONG! Never happened. I was also told that they might come done in price. WRONG. Never happened. I guess sale persons are still the same - say anything to get a sale!

We just purchased a pre-owned GMC Envoy that had some imperfections as it is expected from a used vehicle. But they fix everything they promised and delivered the car in perfect shape. I also appreciate that the general manager got involved and got things expedited for us.

I purchased a used car a few months ago from this dealership. There were two problems with the car in the interior that had to be fixed. I was told by my Salesman, Gus, that they would be fixed before I picked up the car when I bought it. Well NEITHER of these problems were fixed and now because a few months have passed, they REFUSE to fix the problems. I would NOT recommend this dealership. They are SHADY!
