On March 19, 2021 I took my 2008 Shelby GT500 in for an oil change at El Cajon Ford. My service rep was Dustin and he was extremely helpful through the process giving me status updates on when my car would be ready. Additionally. he was helpful in letting me know when the sales floor would be open to look at other cars while I was waiting. I saw a beautiful 2021 Mustang Mach 1 on the showroom floor with all of the bells and whistles! Almost makes me want to trade my Shelby. Again Dustin was extremely helpful on getting my service complete and getting me back on the road in a timely manner. El Cajon Ford was an EXCELLENT choice for my service needs. Thank-You.

Joel Josh and John Banner at El Cajon Ford knocked it out of the park. Held their word through the entire deal. Placed a special order in July 2 and received in September 21. Joel listens and knows these trucks. His patience and politeness far exceeds any car dealer experience I have had to date! John knows how to order these trucks and provides valuable feedback on options and has a good feel for each customers needs. The ordering process was smooth and simple. Josh in finance was no BS and was straight to the point. He worked with me with my own financing and even offered a fair price on maintenance and ESP. My new F-250 Tremor is a dream! Ford forever.

Service at El Cajon Ford was quick, reasonable, and no pressure. Jessica our service agent was professional and understanding. I had a recall fixed same day. Check engine light concern was addressed for a reasonable price. I had an oil change with a free multi point inspection that was also reasonably priced. Appointment was easy to make and get in same day.

We had a great experience with everyone at this El Cajon Ford. They were not pushy and listened to what we said. The actual process was quick and smooth. Nick was professional and very polite. One other gentlemen that helped us the first time also was great and did not come off as an aggressive salesman. We definitely will come here when purchasing our next car.

Bought a used car from this dealership. Car had an issue with back hatch dealer was suppose to fix. Four weeks later after a few early morning trips to the service they couldn't figure out how to fix it. I was told I could take it somewhere else and the dealer would pay half... seriously??? Today I just received a letter from the DMV stating I had no proof of insurance from the dealer and if I didn't show I could have my registration suspend!!! I put insurance on the car before i left their lot, per their suggestion. Crappy place to buy a car..or to get a preexisting issue fixed.

I have been trying to schedule my Ford vehicle for a recall repair for over a month. No one will schedule the repair when I call....no one will return my calls, including the "Service Manager". Very disappointing ....I would certainly not purchase a vehicle here, if this is the service to expect.

I would not recommend going here to anyone poor customer service not to mention a salesman got upset and went off on me because 2 reasons 1. I wouldn't give him my number and 2. Because I told him that I will let corpate now about this so if you guys go (hopefully not) stay far away from the salesman I would put his name on here but I would not want to risk his job...... Matter of fact yes I will put his name out just in case he tries it to another lady ...his last name is mcclinton...... I have purchased a car for my son back in March, We were giving a DUE bill Here we are 3 months out and the DUE bill still has not been full filled, I have been getting nothing but the run around, passed around and still till this day have not been taking care of! I am very disappointed in the unprofessionalism AND customer service I have received and will make sure that this will be the last time I will purchase at this location!

I bought my Roush on Apr 29, 2016 and within 3 weeks I had 3 check engine lights. The first one was for battery voltage and replaced the battery. The second one they said I had a misfire code and instead of fixing it, they just cleared the code and never documented it. This third time I turned car in at noon and they haven't even checked code at 5. Now I have an escape to drive (fair trade huh?) But I don't get my car checked till Monday. This place is the worst service dealership ever. Sold me a new crappy car and service department won't fix anything in a timely manner. I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a car or get serviced by these people.

I had ford fusion 2013 , l have send it to elacajon service for oil change and by the way the service representative told your car have 4 call back and we need to get it done as soon as possible for yout safty , i told him its ok was week end and i had other car so i kept my car there for full and before end of day the call me that car ready you can come any time to take it , so i drive over there and got it , once ride the car i found a lot of spot of black grease and oil every where on front sets and back set and on doors handle on gear , my car had beach interior color and i use to set careful because beach interior it easy to get dirt , but the sevice team was selfish , carless they set inside the car with dirty uniform and dirty hand and left spot every where , i have take car to detailer to clean they did the best to clean but cant removd all spot since its grease and stuck on set , i will not recommend ford serivce to anybody .

I would highly recommend El Cajon Ford for quality sales people on up the ladder to the Sales Manager. John Banner and his co-worker Savana helped us with our order for a 2015 Ford Mustang GT and made the experience an enjoyable one. Though it took some time to have the car built and delivered to the dealership, John and Savana kept us informed of each step in the process. They are quality people and an asset to the dealership. This was my first purchase at El Cajon Ford and and I will continue to purchase from this dealership in the future.

Last Christmas I was looking at buying the Ford Escape, after visiting other car dealerships around San Diego, I was left disappointed due to pushy car sales representatives. But all that changed when I called Savanna at El Cajon Internet sales, San Diego. She was extremely approachable, friendly and went above and beyond to get me the best deal and we negotiated a great price. I purchased a new 2012 Mustang GT from Fuller Ford last year in September, 2012 when I lived in the Chula Vista area. It was a wonderful experience. Since then I moved to the El Cajon area and needed a new Ford dealer to service my new vehicle which is still under warranty. I made an appointment online with El Cajon Ford for an oil change. Because of availability I waited about 9 days before I could get my car in for the oil change. Upon check in I was notified by the clerk that I would have to wait 1-2hrs due to the amount of work orders they had in front of me. I informed the clerk that I had a scheduled appointment for this time and I had made the appointment over a week in advance. The clerk responded with, "your appointment is just to let us know to expect you...not that your service will be done at that time". I currently own 3 mustangs. All of which I take to an authorized Ford dealer for service. El Cajon Ford will never see one cent of my money. If you want a real Ford dealer and a great experience go to Fuller Ford. They treat you like a valued customer and want your business.

Got an internet price from John or Jack Clark, whatever his name is. Got an internet price that seemed reasonable went to see him was handed over to another salesman who kept going back to some guy at the desk to answer questions. Got tired of the runaround and left. I want to talk to the guy making the deal. I have check in hand and want to talk to whoever can make decisions, never got there.

This dealership does not hold to even the lowest bar of customer care. After spending hours to finally come to a cash price, (previously stated hours earlier on the phone, hence us even going in) "the general manager" did not want to let us have our own mechanic take a look. Even though we were told by the sales men it would be fine before hand. He offered a super ridiculous warranty to get us to buy right at the moment. Then after we were obviously upset for leading us to believe we could have it looked at, and hours now have been spent, they conceded to the mechanic but now would not offer any warranty because of our previous stated desire. At this point we were all done playing the used car sales men games and tactics. We had cash money to spend and they would not even talk rationally to us about the lying and disrespectful tactics. We tried calling management ourselves to talk person to person instead of this behind the curtain tactic used, only to be brushed off with no regard. We did get a call however after posting a review on yelp. They told us an owner would be calling, which never happened. Be aware! This company does not value customers. In my book we should show patronage to those businesses who do actually want to show integrity in business.

We wish to thank John Clark for the understanding of our pedictament. We had bought a f250 2 months ago for 5th wheeling. well it didn't work out. He helped get rid of the 5th wheel and also take back the truck. we are very please with our new ford taurus and can't thank him enough. also thanks to Paul the general manager for picking up the 5th wheel so my husband (71; years old) didnt have to drive it again. wow what an experience. never again.; long story. but thanks to John Clark it is all a bad memory from now on. we love our ford taurus. thanks again John.

From start to finish, John, the internet sales manager, was great to work with. No hassle, excellent response time, and no BS. We new what we wanted, and he made it happen. Even with our kids running around part of the time :-) The dealership itself is nothing special, if you're the type to care about appearances. Seeing that we didn't have to deal with any other salespeople, I had no issues with any part of the process, nor did we feel like we were being stalked or otherwise bothered. We got all info we needed quickly and clearly, and the last step of the process (actually signing through driving off the lot) was quick and painless. Recommended.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE, i went and made a huge mistake on june 1st and bought a 2010 dodge caliber with 42000 miles,with a window price of $14000.i know that as a consumer , it is my responsibility to read the contract and verify the price of the vehicle, but because i figured its a new car dealership,they could be trusted.but what i didnt realize is that they charged me $18031 for that same vehicle that was marked $14000 on the window.!!! because i was financing the car and had a not so good credit,i got taken advantage for with a $4000 over window sticker.i went to refinance the car and the credit union said that the blue book on this car 12000!!! i have been calling them trying too see if they made a mistake but no one seems to care.this is very bad practise.my name is emile henoud and i am absolutely frustrated by what has been done to me as a consumer at this place.

John Clark is a great agent to work with. When we arrived at El Cajon Ford a few months ago John helped us look at Fusions and Taurus'. We told him that we really could not buy for a while. He did not hound us with calls trying to get us back in. He did however send an Email every week or so offering help and seeing if we were ready yet. Yesterday He helped us get our new Fusion. Arranged to meet John Clark, at the lot in Santee and my husband and I, got there first when John, arrived with a hand shake and a smile he had me. He was very pleasent and not a high pressured saleman which I liked. He showed me just what I was looking for and test drove it. We had a loan already so we went to El Cajon Dealer and Did all the leagel things and John, had all the patience in the world and made us feel and ease with the deal while we waited for the girl in financing to come in and take care of us. I had to come back a couple days later to have something done on the car and he was so understanding, but didn't know why it slipped throught before it was sold. I told him it was no problem and he told me that he wanted me to be 100 percent happy with my purchase and if I had anymore trouble to just call him and he'd take care of it for me. Called their "Internet Sales Dept." asking about a used vehicle. They said the vehicle wasn't out of prep yet. I wanted to know transmission type, price, and whether convertible top was hard or soft. I was told they'd get back to me. Never heard back...even if it was sold, a courtesy call would have been nice.

El Cajon Ford lied too me when I purchased my 2005 Ford Mustang. When I questioned El Cajon Ford about any previous accidents I was specifically told the 2005 Mustang was in one "MINOR" accident and that is all. At no time was the truth told to me about this vehicle that it was in a horrible accident and should have a salvaged title! The frame was bent and the whole front end of the car had to be replaced! Also you cannot properly put gas in the car without holding the fuel nozzle upside down because of a defect with the fuel system. This allowing fuel to run down the side of the car constantly while trying to re-fuel the car (which when I notified El Cajon Ford about this when I returned the car I was told by management that this is how all the new model Mustangs are built and that this is not a default in the vehicle, funny because I do not see other Mustang owners standing at the gas station with the nozzle upside down and fuel running down the side of their car like I was). Also the A/C turns on and off by itself and that on occasion the seatbelt alarm beeps even when the seatbelt is engaged or that two weeks after purchasing the car the complete electrical system had to be replaced because the car was completely dead. Bottom line this car is a lemon. When I purchased the vehicle from El Cajon Ford I was given the greatest sales pitch about all these safety tests and inspections that their used cars go through before they are put on the lot for resale. Now I completely understand that was just a sales pitch because this vehicle had obviously not been through ONE SINGLE inspection or test. By law I am entitled to a full refund of the purchase price, taxes, license, maintenance and all legal fees associated with this case. I have no problem letting my attorney proceed with this and getting more money than I was asking for and letting El Cajon Ford waste money and time on attorney fees. See you in court El Cajon Ford!

My husband first emailed Joel a few times...I then went down and met John.....John was fantastic....totally explained features of the truck...etc.....what impressed me the most was he was not "pushy"...which I HATE!!!! When I found out he was a KISS fan ..that was the icing on the cake!! I had so much fun chatting with him..all about our KISS history....I then met Joel who also made me feel at ease and relaxed...no pushiness whatsoever. ;-) I talked...he listened....he knew what I needed the deal to be and worked very hard for me...both John and Joel are absolutely a wonderful addition to El Cajon Ford...my husband and I feel very lucky to have met both of them. A+++ in our book!!!!

I just purchased a scion from El Cajon ford! After being screwed around hard core at a small and extremely shady dealership (Auto Haus off of mission gorge), my husband and I decided to come to El Cajon Ford, a REAL dealership! I could not be happier with my Scion tc and the deal I got there! John Clark was helpful enough to show me a couple of scion's and even take me for a test drive in a 5 speed because I didn't want to scare him with my stick shift driving skills. Even the kind woman in financing named Wida was so helpful and she even offered to help us with refinancing with a credit union when the time is right! My experience here went above and beyond what I expected out of a car dealership! Thank you!

El Cajon Ford is the best Ford dealer in SD or SD County as far as I am concerned. I NEVER buy a used car...however, this time I did. What a great experience. Took me 45 minutes to deal...and as I have returned to the service area for a scheduled appt, they are SUPER! I can't tell you in one report about how great the service department staff is!!! From the minute you arrive, they listen and do what they say the will do! I will buy my next NEW car there next year.

Great Price , a great experience . Sorry I do not remember the name of the salesman, I actually worked with 2 people. I saw an add in the Sunday paper and prior to going to El Cajon Ford I went to 2 other Ford dealers to see if they could match or beat the deal offered. One dealer came close but did not offer the color I wanted. I have been back 3 times and have found the service department to be great as well. Overall a very positive experience. Matthew

Me & my wife went into the dealership at about 7:30pm the night before Easter. We were greeted with smiles by John Clark. I had been emailing back & forth with John and we decided to just go into the dealership. We told John what we were looking for and asked him for his best deal. He came back to us with his best price. There was no haggling and they gave us a great interest rate, even though we had a bankruptcy and we bought a new car.Megan in finance was fantastic, did not rush us through anything and we were on the road by 9:30.I will recommend this dealership to all my friends.

I would recommend el Cajon ford to anyone. I worked with John and Tristan in the Internet department and both are great guys. They were not high pressure and they were very prompt at answering any of my questions either through email or in person. El Cajon ford has an amazing selection as well.... I purchased a Ranger 2x4 and they had a huge selection of rangers to look at with a wide variety of options. Furthermore once you get the vehicle you want at the payment you're looking for, they get you in and out quick through the finance department versus my previous experiences with other dealers when I had to sit for hours. I highly reccomend El Cajon Ford!

We bought a Fusion in 2010 that was totaled during this past December's storms. That first go around with El Cajon Ford was the best car shopping experience we've ever had, because all three of the above named employees were exceptional in every way. Right from the beginning, Mike, the salesman, made us feel like we were friends, and it was clear that he is the kind of guy who could be everyone's best friend; then, settling on a deal with Rob, the sales manager, was actually fun. The mood was very light and, at times, playful. Finally, Meghan, in finance, was professional and really knew her job. Just a week ago, we replaced the 2010 with a 2011 Fusion. We never gave thought to going to a different dealership. This time, Mike and Rob were very personal in their empathy and couldn't do enough to help us thru the process of our 2010 being totaled and getting us into another car as quickly and affordably as possible. Meghan remembered us from last April, which impressed us, and, again was absolutely great to deal with. We think El Cajon Ford's staff is exceptional, and we plan to return there for any and all of our Ford needs.

I did not go to the dealership looking to buy a new car. The price was right and I am now driving a new Fusion. The staff at El Cajon Ford are all very friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this dealership to my friends and family. I loved my 2008 Fusion, but my new Hybrid Fusion is awesome.

I was worried when i first called and explained i did not have great credit. But the moment I met Bobby by phone; he made me feel I was SPECIAL. You do not get that very often these days. He had all my answers to my questions. He did not pressure me and I drove out in a great pre-owned Focus. I got a great price and Bobby has called me up three times after the sale just to ask how everything is working out. NOW THAT IS SOMETHING VERY RARE THESE DAYS. I will definitely recommend el canon ford and especially Bobby to anyone who wants that special treatment.

Leonard was the best! He was quick and efficient and most important, honest. Since the modification process of our home our credit has been at the bottom of the tank. The dealership we have worked with for more than 10 years was not as willing to help us. We are very gratefull to Leonard for hearing us out and helping us to find a solution to getting our new truck-which is gorgeous! Rob and Meagan were fantastic in helping us with the numbers and financing. Although El Cajon is 2 hours away from our home, it was definitly well worth the trip! This is the best experience I've ever had when purchasing a car. We came in to the dealership and ran into Mike West. He listened to what the type of car, the budget and down payment we were looking for and found it for us! It was a Sunday afternoon and the entire transaction took no longer than a few hours. John Banner handeled our purchase of two new cars today 10/8/10. One a Ford Focus and the other a Ford Fusion both SE. These were our 4th and 5th new car purchase from John. John makes the buying process so easy. We had none of the stress associated with walking into a dealer blind. John takes care of locating the cars, getting them ready, all the paper work, finding incentives that we did not even know were available to us and no pressure to buy extras. John makes the experience hassel free as it should be. We consulted with John over the past few days. After we explained to him what we were looking for John got the cars we wanted delivered to El Cajon Ford and had everything set up ready for our arrival. We left our house in Anaheim at 9:30 am arrived at El Cajon Ford at 11:30 am, reviewed the figures and paper work on both cars and our trade in which was an 2005 Expedition XLT and inspected both new cars. We were done with the whole processs and back on the raod to Anaheim at 2:00 pm. What an easy and comfortable experience! Bobby Morales, the internet sales manager, handled the sale in a highly professional manner. Most of my questions were answered before I could ask them. He made the sales experience very pleasureable and informative. There was no pressure tactics involved and the whole transaction was handled expeditiously. His attention to the needs of the customer are deeply ingrained and he did everything in his power to ensure that no questions remained unanswered. I will definately go back to El Cajon Ford (and Bobby) for my next automotive purchase.

I contacted Bobby Morales the internet manager at El Cajon Ford after shopping around.He then e-mailed me with a price quote based on the exact 2011 Ford f-350 super duty that i was looking for. Overall a very good experience and would gladly recommend anyone I know to visit this dealership and dealer for a new vehicle. I got a great price and the financing process went very smooth. The dealer did not possess the vehicle that I desired, so they acquired it from another location. This did take some time, but made me happy leaving with what I truly wanted!

Sales were great. The internet sales manager showed genuine care. If i could ask for one change to anything it would be that since i live 45 minuntes away, if i am needed to come back to the dealer a compensation or offer to compensate would be nice, even if it was only for fuel.

I want to thank El Cajon Ford and especially Bobby Morales for changing my perception of car dealerships. I have heard and read about what a horror it is getting a car at a dealer. My father told me" Do Not Trust Them- they only care about selling you a car at their highest price. Well after more than 10 emails back and forth. Bobby had us feeling not all car salesmen are the same. Price and financing were important to us and after a few emails we finally went in. Bobby was with a customer and his partner (William ) helped us. He was very pleasant and easy to work with. We test drove a used Tahoe. It was very nice but we did not buy that day as my wife preferred leather interior. We came back and told Bobby and he'd did not pressure us take the car. He then offered to put leather at a great price and assured me it would be even better than factory leather. We decided to put pure trust in El canon ford. When they put in the leather a few days later, we were amazed at how beautiful everything turned out. Thank you El Cajon Ford and Bobby. They were professional and just extremely pleasant to work with. We will be coming back to Bobby when we are ready for our next car.

My company was looking for a nice older model Explorer for our associates to use going to my plant in Mexico. We tried the typical "internet sites" with no luck. So as luck goes, I had the opportunity to meet Bobby Morales, who is the son of my neighbor. Reluctant at first, being a neighbor and not wanting to mix personal and business relationships I gave in and gave ECF the opportunity to win my business. As we stated the search for our Explorer, it became apparent that the search was not going to be easy. We wanted a simple, basic, sound, gray, vehicle with low miles. Oh, and it had to be a 2007.So the search was on, Bobby and the team went on the search, no more than a week later he found a "perfect match", needed a bit of clean up (hey 2007 and the rest is history. We have had our SUV over two weeks now and we are very pleased with the sales activities and follow-up care ECF and Bobby Morales has given us.Keep up the great service and customer care. I would first like to say that El Cajon Ford is a class-act company to deal with. We started with Bobby Morales (Internet Manager), who was very friendly over the phone and got right to the point as to what he could sell the F150 for. The following day I showed up to see the truck and met with Ross ___________, who was referred to me by Bobby since he had the day off. Ross was a stand up guy, letting me know what he could offer me for my trade-in. We negotiated a few rounds, which any salesperson would do, but came to a friendly price to make the deal happen. Rob __________ (sales manager) was also a pleasure to work with, very approachable and friendly. Upon picking up the truck we were greeted by Ross and Bobby who ensured our experience at El Cajon Ford was nothing but the best. I can truly say that this was my best experience with a car dealership and will be going back in the years to come. Thanks El Cajon Ford!!

My husband and I bought a 2011 Ford Escape from El Cajon Ford. The week-end before I went on the Internet to find the inventory in San Diego county for a red Escape. There were two at El Cajon Ford. I called the internet number and Bobby answered. From the moment we started he was engaged with what I wanted and assured me that he would get the information I wanted and that he would call me back. "Call me back" - there is a novel idea. Keep in touch with the person that wants help and information.We went in the following week-end. There was Bobby with his smile and ready to give us the whole experience - not only the whole experience but we were smiling the entire time. Bobby Morales was very nice to work with. We didnt have to spend a lot of time haggling over the price and once we cut the deal on a used vehicle they cleaned it up for me. In addition, since I was not trading in my vehicle, they followed me all the way up to Huntington Beach with my new (used) vehicle to save me a return trip. When I spoke with the finance department, although friendly, as soon as I indicated that my credit union would matched their loan rates, they quickly pulled their offer off the table. Seemed kind of petty considering I was spending over $30 K on a vehicle. Over all though I was pleased with the delaership's services.

Our experience was great! We found the vehicle we wanted online. We live 500 miles away from this dealership. We flew to San Diego, Bobby from the dealership picked us up at the airport with our favorite coffee in hand. We proceeded to the dealership to test drive the car we wanted. The vehicle was just what we wanted. Everything was explained to us in detail. Bobby had all of the answers to our questions.

This was the first time getting my car serviced at El Cajon Ford. I was surprised to learn that my car's service history was not available via computer from Pearson Ford (which is no longer in business). Kathleen explained that it was due to a Privacy issue, but she assured me that I would receive the best of service and that I would be notified of all future service recommendations. Although I do not qualify for shuttle service to my office (further than 12 miles), I will return to El Cajon Ford for future service.

I purchased a 2004 F350 truck for my husband as a surprise. He will be returning from Iraq soon he has been gone for now over a year so this is his big deal coming home gift . I was happy to have found just what i was looking for and the price i wanted at El Cajon Ford .The sales men were great , but the truck was a mess and not clean . I have been in rental cars that have been cleaner . i was told they would re-detail it. I explained that this was going to be a gift and it needed to be nice and clean , i came back down 3 days later to ask then to re-do it again .....I called the service Dept. to talk to the Dept lead only to be put to someone's voice mail with out a explication twice ! Then the alarm system i purchased as an add on did not come with any new key controls only the old one that came with the truck so for $ 699.99 i really get what i already had in the truck when i bought it . there customer service is lacking customer service. I go back down this week to see if they cleaned out the baby food and the ick out of the truck before i bring it home again !
