I bought 2 Kia Sorento’s here. And had the best service here for many years. The dealership went through many owners, all good except the last owner. Who set this place up for failure. Getting rid of the skilled mechanics, hiring minimum wage unskilled mechanics one who broke my a/c and said nothing. Also the service manager who did the same, who new I was upset but never reached out. So it cost me $900.00 plus. To fix it elsewhere even though it was covered under my extended warranty at Elk Grove Kia. I could not trust them with my car again. I reported it to corporate who did nothing to my knowledge guess because this owner owns 12 dealerships Find a dealership who respects you and their employees. And you’ll get good Honest service. This was a simple recall request taken to Kia if Elk Grove on 10/15/20 and when I called them on it they couldn’t find the paper work in the system. And the recall was not resolved then.

I came to test drive a car for the 25$ gift card advertised on the Elk Grove Kia website. I scheduled an appointment and everything. After I came in and test drove their vehicle and spent 2 hours telling the salesman and his manager I'm a brokearss college student who can't afford it and came just for the gift card, they finally stopped. Disappointedly, the Manager Joseph Richardson, would not give me the 25$ gift card. Reason being was because I didn't print the confirmation email which did not even state I had to print it. I also had the confirmation email on my phone which they could see clearly when I showed them it. Joseph also claimed they had no printer in the whole building and I would have to print it from my house on the computer that I registered the appointment so that the IP address would match. Lamest attempt to get me to come back a second time. Kia is a car dealership, not a security powerhouse. IP address would change depending on wifi even if I use the same computer and there lots of other ways you can verify, looking at email I have opened on my phone or simply checking checking the appointment on your computer yourself. The salesman that originally worked with us actually did this at the end to confirm the appointment and saw it, but Joseph Richardson did not want to accept it and just walked away telling us to leave.His final excuse was that the advertising people for Kia are different from the Kia dealership and that they only advertise while the dealership only sells. Some how that equates to him not having to give me what I was promised on the website even though I did what was needed.Kia cars must really suck if they have to scam people just to get them to come to their dealership.

My wife and I just left this dealership where we were required to provide personalfinancial information to determine if we won a prize on a Kia mailer.This is inappropriate and offensive for anybody with an ounce of common sense.I don't expect any reputable business to ask for personal financial information tosimply disclose the winner of a contest.People have good credit for a reason. If Kia wants good customers they need to understandthe basics about why people have good credit.Please don't make matters worse by trying to blame the sells person. I just leased my second Optima from EG Kia, and for good reason. The Tony and Andrew in sales and Debbie in finance at Kia Elk Grove are terrific! Until this purchase I had never had a good experience buying a car, but I must say that this was a very pleasurable experience. The dealership is great and has quite a broad spectrum of choices. The entire staff is knowledgable and pleasant to deal with. Tony treated us like family and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were comfortable and confident in our purchase. He stayed late to make sure everything went through and even gave us a crash course in all of the features of our new Sorento. He even took the time to make follow up phone calls to see how we were doing and how we liked the vehicle. His no pressure attitude and genuine concern for our wellbeing has made us a life customer. We went to Kia on the advice of my father who had just bought an Optima in Boise, ID. From the moment we walked onto the lot, we got nothing but extreme professionalism and courtesy. We were met by Moe Hadayat, and fully taken care of the entire time. Moe was not pushy at all but at the same time extremely informative. He listened to what we were looking for, the price we had in mind and acted accordingly. Both my husband and I were so nervous to be making such a major financial decision and Mr. Hadayat immediately eased our minds. Not only was he pleasant to us but to our children as well, addressing them by their name, which he remembered from the day before, and making them feel as though they were part of the event. I think the most comprehensive thing I could say about this dealership is that I recently purchased my seventh vehicle in eight years here. Well technically, not just me; that includes my wife, son and daughter. In fact, my son traded in his first car from here for another. Shortly thereafter, he had a road hazard accident, took the insurance money and came right back here for another Kia. I've been stopped at red lights and people have rolled down their windows and asked me "How do you like your Sorento?" That NEVER happened to me before. My response has always been "I love it!" I've always kept my vehicles serviced by this dealership, even though there are "cheaper" services available. I keep all service sheets in the vehicle. That recently paid off when I traded in my paid off Sorento for a 2012 Sorento and received more than a fair deal. when I tell others how much they gave me for the old Sorento, everyone is surprised. Yes, I still love the make and model.In short, if you want no-pressure browsing, unflinching answers to your myriad of questions, sincerely friendly service, a vehicle you'll love, and your vehicle serviced like it was their own, then come to Kia. I promise you a great experience.

I TOLD what the problem was (airbag sensor) and did not receive any quote upfront. We said that we needed the car smog tested and was told that the airbag sensor NEEDED to be fixed to get it smog tested (not true). It would have been less infuriating had new information and at least proven to be smog checked. I feel cheated out of my money by being parroted back information that was stated when the car was dropped off.

We have been looking a long time to find a car that fits a person six feet and nine inches. My husbad had looked at aleast fifty different cars and could not fit in them.That was our problem, until we came to Elk Grove Kia and found the Kia Sportage 2012.Thanks to Jarod Millar, we found the right the car at the right price. He was so very helpful and went out of his way to make this happen. Like I said we just was looking and I didn't have my checkbook on me to make the down payment, and Jarod followed us home and helped my husband input the bluetooth, we did not have the cell phone with us at the time. The experince was the best we ever had for buying a car.

Jarod can sell snow to eskimos! My visit to kia was great. Jarod was easy to talk to, and very patient with my time. I thought everything was pretty reasonable, especially being an almost new car. I can't recall the other gentleman's name at the counter, but he was a pretty helpful as well. We took the SOL for a quick test drive, and I knew right away that it was the vehicle i was going to be driving home with that evening. 8 fingers up! (because i ran out of thumbs!!)

This was absolutely one of the best new car buying experiences I have ever had. Allen and Jarod were first class professionals and helped us arrive at a great decision on new Kia, then followed up with a great deal and absolutely no pressure. The technician (Todd Goodwalt) who worked on my vehicle was outstanding, he was very diligent in trying to find the reason my check engine light came on. He spent time and effort and was very informative as to all the steps he was taking. I wanted Todd's superiors to know he is doing an outstanding job. I also wanted to give Tony Lei the service rep kudos as well. Tony was also very informative and helpful. I had to bring my car in three Fridays in a row to rectify this situation and Tony and Todd made this a tolerable situation. Thanks to both of them for getting me back on the road!Scott Woodall

I had a bunch of issues with paperwork and finance companies while trying to get a used car (not the dealership's fault). And I would say my overall experience was still great. Moe was always available to answer my questions and help me along the way. He seemed genuinely concerned about my being happy with the end result. He definitely went above and beyond what he had to do. Although it was a bit of a struggle, I love my car and I really appreciate all of the time and effort Moe put into helping me get it.

The guys here were great! I never purchased a car so easily and aggressively free and felt so good rolling off the lot after. Customer service in the service department -- ROCKS!!! Went in for a oil change and came out as a Kia Elk Grove customer for life. In the past I would have taken my car for service at the Folsom Lake Kia fortunately I was unable to get a same day appointment last week for an oil change so today while on vacation I decided last minute to call the Elk Grove Kia and was able to get a same day appointment. Arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment and it was not a problem the receptionist greeting me with a smile and proceeded to checked me in. They took my car right in with all the DIRT and all. I waited in the customer lounge enjoyed complimentary coffee and watch TV in very comfortable chairs...about 35 minutes later my SUV was done. Sulaiman came to the lounge and and advised my vehicle was ready and reviewed my invoice. He was very professional and friendly.As I walked out the service area doors...I mumbled now I need to find a car wash because again my vehicle was VERY DIRTY...I walked up to my SUV and it was WASHED! What...really...that never happened at Folsom Lake Kia!!!I immediately returned to the service desk and THANKED them for great customer service and for washing my car...I highly recommend Elk Grove Kia.

Wonderful, friendly service. Herbie really listened to what we wanted. We didn't find a truck at Kia initially so went to another dealer in the automall. Herbie found a new arrival in the prep area that he thought would meet our needs and found us in the automall to tell us. We looked at a comparable vehicle at another dealer but went back to Kia to see the truck Herbie told us about. He was right about it meeting our needs, we ended up buying from Herbie.

I came down from Redding Ca. I brought my son and daughter with me. We were well pleased with the customer service from all three employees. We were very impressed with Mo. He was such a friendly guy and very detailed in information on this car. He did not pressure us. He went over everything with us. Showed us how to work everything thing about the car. He worked with us on the price of the car to our satisfaction. Got it to where I could afford the car. Mo is for sure a top salesman. We have family members here in Redding that will be car shopping soon. We are sending them to Elk Glove Kia, and to ask for Mo. We can't say enough nice things about Mo. We really did enjoy dealing with him. LOL....He even gave his tie to my Son just because he liked it. What an awesome guy. Tony hoit was easy to deal with did not try to pressure us in a sale went for a used car left with a new car . I will be back even with the drive from stockton! I visited the showroom Friday night and met Mohammed. I liked the cars I saw, but the reason I went back this afternoon was because of him. I felt he was very honest, sincere, and helpful. It was an honor to meet him. I wish all car salesman could be exactly like him. I bought the car today in large part because of the trust he established with me.I was impressed with John too. It was the best experience i have ever had at a dealership. The sales person were extremely helpful and not pushy. They knew what we could afford and did not try to put us in a car we could not afford. We were in a tight situation and 5 other dealerships would not even give us the time to try to help us out. They went above and beyond. I am very strict when it comes to customer service and they exceeded ALL of my expectations. I have already started telling how great this dealership and will continue to do so. We were there at around 5pm and left a little before 7 with our car. That was the quickest deal i have ever done at a dealership. Normally when you leave a dealership you have to go home and relax from all the stress car buying creates. I still can't beleive I am home with a car i love and a price I can afford. They will for sure be getting our families business in the future. Once again thank you so much for the great customer service!

I had a wonderful experience, I have had 2 KIA's in the past and they have been good cars. Do NOT like the new approach of having to spend over $800 to protect the inside/outside of a car you are only leasing. I think that should be on an indivual basis of how much damage has been done to your car (scratches, paint chips and other people dinging your car) this is all out of a persons control. But the sales people where very nice and helpful, I will surely use them again.

Bought a used Kia a year ago and was pleasantly surprised by how much I wound up loving it - so when I decided to buy a new car I thought it might be nice to get another Kia. The people in service at this dealership have been fantastic (Ron is the one I typically work with) but I didn't have experience with the sales team. Yesterday I was able to buy a new Soul without any pressure or annoying salesmanship -- Herbie was great, showing me all the vehicles I thought I was interested in and waiting for me to ask about the Soul, which I had originally told him didn't interest me. :))The best news is that my 13 year old son loves the new Soul too -- and being 13, there isn't much he loves these days!
