This was my first experience buying an out-of-state car and I would definitely recommend it to others. We flew in to Tampa and they picked us up and it was the smoothest transaction from beginning to end. Everything was as promised, which showed me that their integrity, is to be applauded. Yesterday, I did business with your very unusual high line, used car dealership. First, unlike most, you have a bona fide dealership. Cars and top notch service that charges way below the normal dealer prices. We just purchased a 2009 BMW 535 xi wagon from Encore Motors and wanted to share they are a reputable dealer in Sarasota selling used high end autos both from their show room (which I did not use personally) and online. We live in Brainerd MN and have been searching for a hard to find BMW 5 series all wheel drive wagon when their site popped up. I googled them and did not get any warning signs so I called and got Chris Barksdale, their online manager for care sales. Chris was very helpful, low pressure and has good follow through. He immediately disclosed that the car had been in an accident but felt it was insignificant as their mechanics thoroughly checked the vehicle out. They also shared the carfax with me. I learned they usually only sell perfect cars but made an exception on this vehicle. I asked my brother in-law who lives in Sarasota to test drive the car and had an independent mechanic inspect it as negotiations were going smoothly. Chris worked out all the logistics including transporting the wagon by truck to our door. Bottom line, I buy almost nothing online, preferring local business and face to face interactions. However, finding the right used car locally is much more difficult and using the web opens many doors. I would not hesitate recommending Encore Motorcars of Sarasota to my family and friends. Dear George, I wanted to write just a quick note of thanks, for a buying experience that was second to none. Steve Edwards was our sales associate, and if I had to give him a grade on performance it would be A+. Steve went above and beyond our expectations. John, I wanted to write and thank you for the outstanding experience I had in purchasing a vehicle from Encore Motors. I was very impressed with the whole process of buying my vehicle there. With the current variety of car salesmen and car dealers in the world, I did not expect to find a salesman and dealer that care about the customer and want to do the right thing by them. Just bought a car from them yesterday. Great experience, no hassle, no pressure. Only took 15 minutes in the finance manager's office. I highly recommend this dealer. Salesman Kurt and Finance Manager Al were a pleasure doing business with. If you are interested in one of their cars, rest assured with this dealership that you are in good hands.

I just purchased my car from this dealership less than an hour ago. From the initial call yesterday (Salesman - Kurt) to going to the finance department (Finance Manager - Al), I could not ask for a better experience. First, Kurt was extremely personable, calm, cool and no pressure tactics. After the initial test drive (the car itself is immaculate) we went to the haggle phase. There was no need to haggle. I already knew what other like cars were selling for and this dealership already had a price that the others weren't touching. Next was 'what are they going to try to give me for my trade in'? Sorry Kurt, but you gave me more than I was going to insist on. Once I looked at the deal sheet and saw no extras, hike up the price charges and a overly fair price for my trade in, the haggle was over (took about 10 seconds total). Next off to finance. I didn't have a lot of time to sit in a finance office like has been my past car buying experiences. I had told Kurt the whole time that I was needing to get back to work as soon as I could and couldn't hang around for hours. He let the finance person know that. Once in Al's office, it took a grand total 15 minutes to go through and sign everything. No gimmicks, no pressure, no surprises. Anyone interested in buying a car from this dealer should rest assured they are in good hands. Thanks Kurt and Al.
