Great experience. Pauline was very efficient. I was out of there in a few hours. Laura was also very helpful. However, they should think about instituting a shuttle from the closest Metro. It would encourage more customers to show up.

I am inspired to share this little anecdote about Fairfax Motors because the business sells fantastic automobiles while effortlessly offering an atmosphere of conscientiousness that connects with the customer. I am living proof that customer service at Fairfax Motors is one committed on satisfying the customer first rather than solely focusing on its bottom line. Recently I purchased a gorgeous used luxury vehicle from Fairfax Motors in Fairfax, Virginia. The entire buying experience was extremely enjoyable. Dont get me wrong I love the car, but this is about how enthralled I am with the companys management and sales people! I had a couple of concerns in regard to my vehicle weeks after I finalized my sales contract. I presented them to Fairfax Motors. Upon hearing my worries and without hesitation the sales manager, JOHN FLEMING, assured me that he would take care of the matters and sprang into action. He extracted time from his busy schedule to carefully, meticulously, and persistently work on doing what needed to be done to gratify me. The staff at Fairfax Motors, in particular John Fleming, ensured my complete satisfaction before, during, and AFTER the sale. Their actions define the perception of good will and success. Kudos to the owner Andy Geurwitz, John Fleming and the rest of the Fairfax Motors family for graciously helping me by going far above and beyond on a job well done. I just purchased a car from Fairfax Motors. I could not be happier with the service or the quality of the car. The price was more than fair, the entire experience was friendly and warm. I was extremely pleased with our experience at Fairfax Motors. I typically prefer to buy cars from a private party, because they're usually cheaper. However, because we were on a tight schedule to find a new car, and we didn't want to make a poor decision or buy a lemon, we made the choice to look at dealerships. We were looking primarily at Honda CR-Vs, so when I came across the fully-loaded 2008 CR-V listed on Fairfax Motors website, I knew I had found a fantastic deal. I felt the price was low, and was worried there had been a mistake on the listing. I inquired anyway, and visited as early as I could the very next day.When I saw the car, it was in better condition than I had expected, and had a completely clean carfax. I jokingly told the salesman, Pat, I thought I'd be getting a steal on the car at the price they listed. He admitted that they'd made a mistake in listing it so low, and that they'd already raised the price by $800 (still low, in my opinion). I was worried they'd expect me to meet the new price, but Pat assured me that I was locked in at the original price I'd inquired about. What a relief!I test-drove the car and loved it. I needed to pick my wife up from the airport, but told Pat I wanted to bring her back to test-drive it as well, in hopes that we'd be making an offer. The sales manager told me that they had another customer coming in to look at the car, but that I was welcome to come back with my wife. Before I left, however, he assured me that they wouldn't sell the car out from under me. When I returned with my wife, we found out that not only was the car still there, but Fairfax Motors had actually asked the other prospective buyer not to come in because we were so serious about the car. I felt that Pat and his manager really earned our trust, and it made me all the more happy to make an offer.We ultimately paid more than we wanted for the car, but not because they raised the price. It was because of the fantastic warranty that Fairfax Motors offered. On an 8 year-old vehicle, things could start breaking at any moment. The 5 year, 50,000 mile warranty they offered gave me the peace-of-mind I needed to be happy buying a slightly older vehicle than I originally wanted. I'm now guaranteed to only pay $100 on any repair the car needs, and although I was already extremely happy with my experience at Fairfax Motors, this sent me over the top! Having only ever bought cars from private sellers, having a warranty on my car--let alone one as good as this--wasn't something that had crossed my mind before I walked into the dealership. Laura helped us through the whole process, and she was wonderful.In the end, it was a great car-buying experience. I'll definitely look at Fairfax Motors first the next time I need to buy a car. Everyone there was extremely personable and kind--by the end of the process they felt like old friends. I couldn't be happier with the car or with the service they provided!

Exceptional service and experience buying a 2014 Lexus from Pat Warren, 9/26/2016. Initially I was leery of dealing with a family owned dealership vs. a bigger facility (Carmax). Not so. Everyone involved demonstrated integrity without pressure. Pat worked diligently with me to find the car I wanted. I had a price in mind and he helped me get there. John Fleming/ Sales Manager furthered this process along with a fair trade in price on my 'other car'. Laura Davis/ Finance Director talked to me about warranty protection and Cilajet. I was uncertain of this extra, again, no pressure, just clear information. The gentleman, Victor, who detailed my new Lexus took amazing pride in his work. Beautifully done!! I left items in my previous car (including my emergency money) which Pat Warren found and returned to me. Pat personally drove to get me the next day when my car was ready (I had turned in my other car). When I picked up the new vehicle, the owner, Andy, wanted to make sure I was a satisfied Customer. Rating FairFax Motors with five stars does not do the dealership justice. It's more like a 10! The car buying experience was extremely welcoming, dedicated, and attentive. Laura, Pauline, and John are true professionals and it is obvious that they are motivated by their care for the customer. The vehicles at the dealership are of the utmost quality and the atmosphere is relaxed and amiable. FairFax Motors is in a class of its own and has succeeded in destroying all stereotypical notions of what we've become accustomed to in regard to "dogged" car dealerships and salespersons. My experience at FairFax Motors far exceded what I had expected. Pauline Ball(Who is a wonderful beautiful lady) contacted me promptly after my email. She had the car ready for me to check out when I arrived. She showed me the carfax and told what she could of the car's history. She was a joy to talk with during the testdrive. As far as I'm concern Laura Davis is a godsend. She was pleasant, patience and took her time to get me a better rate(much, much) then my bank had offered. I recently purchased a Mercedes Benz ML350. People working in Fairfax Motors are very friendly and helpful. They don't waste your time by offering you a high price and give you discount based on over priced vehicles. Their prices are very true based on cars. Cars are handpicked and in excellent conditions. When I wanted to buy my car I researched the marked and spent a lot of time with other dealers. No other dealers were this much honest and friendly I believe they are the best in the area. I am 100 percent positive and would recommend them.

They have quick and diligent staff, which translated into an excellent purchasing experience. The dealership was transparent in all aspect. In example, the negotiation of the "out the door price" was upfront (no hidden fees). The sale experience did not end with the purchase. John Clark was so helpful. I thought I knew the car I wanted, but when I saw it, knew it wasn't right for me. He gave no pressure on me to buy any other car, but was extremely helpful in showing me other vehicles, allowing me to do some reasearch about them on his computer, etc. The rest of the staff was also extremely helpful in the details of the sale, registration, etc. overall, a very good experience. Would definitely recommend!

His customer service is exemplary .I usually do not give a five star rating but my experience here with Pat was so exceptional that he really deserved it. He went above and beyond by helping me through nervous breakdowns to getting every single detail right regarding the car purchase. For 2weaks, he worked with me, checked in from time to time to give me status updates and even sent me photos. Every question was answered and we traveled from Fairfax to around area to test drive the car. He gave me a competitive price all the meanwhile as painless and efficient as possible. I had a desire to purchase a Mercedes S550. I did months of research before finding a vehicle that met my choices. Fairfax Motors had a great web page presentation. I made a call and Pauline Ball answered the call. This was the beginning of one of the most exciting and professional auto buying experiences that one could experience. In addition to a great initial presentation by Pauline, Rebecca emailed me a proposition. After this, the game was on. Prior to phase 2, I had paid to have a car shipped to a local dealership for review. After the car arrived, I was not pleased with the car. The web page presentation was no where a true presentation.After gaining confidence in Pauline, my wife and I drove 250 plus miles to see the auto. After arriving at the dealership and looking at the auto, it was a fact that Fairfax Motors web page accurately displayed the vehicle.We decided to purchase the auto. At this point, we were introduced to the closure of the deal. Laura Davis with her personality and desire to make the sale, went to work. She went to work and found the desired financing.The deal was closed. License tags were processed in a timely manner. Bought gr8 ACURA atFAIRFAX! At 1st, I was jades, suspicious, skeptical BUT the fact that the dealership honored Sunday's - impressed my spirit as did the voice of the man on the voicemail recording. I was approved after a conversation and polycarbonate with the no-nonsense Laura in finance who stood behind her words when I arrived in her office from Maryland. I test drove the vehicle with knowledgeable Pauline! I Bought my gorgeous Burgandy well-priced ILX in 2 days even tho I'm picky and was in no way desperate! The BLACK BOOK (not simply the KBB) showed that I was getting a great deal! CARFAX showed one owner and no accidents and vehicle was serviced by ONLY ONE ACYRA DEALERSHIP and only for routine maintenance! I am &hard2plz and jaded about car buying BUT I must say God led me to FAIRFAX - my type of dealership!!! .Permanent tags arrived 2 wks early even though I'm out-of-State. After my first visit to the dealership, I felt like every staff member was there to help me. Everything went smoothly, everything was explained to me and I felt no pressure to make a decision. I have a 100% electric car that I miscalculated the mileage on and ran out of juice at their location. Without a moments hesitation, they took me home to pick up my charger and let me plug into their outdoor electrical outlet for as long as I needed to. I'm not in the maket for a car right now, but when the time comes, I'll be sure to check these nice folks first!

I was looking for a low mileage Mercedes S550 with all the options in a specific color. I talked to a good many dealers who wanted to sell me what they currently had in inventory but the folks at Fairfax motors suggested they take the time to look for the car that I wanted. They gave me a ball park price, explained that it may take some time to find and kept me posted on their progress. It was a difficult search that took close to 4 months but they found the perfect car at the targeted price. In several cases they identified cars but suggested I pass on them due to small issues as they knew what I wanted. It is a rare business that will risk making a quick sale to totally satisfy the customer.The entire sales process was painless and extremely professional. Clearly this is a business built on referrals and repeat business. I highly recommend Fairfax Motors.

i just bought a corvette from Fairfax Motors and I am an older person so I have had many cars in my life. The hardest part is usually the pushey sales person and then the finance person. But at Fairfax Motors I was treated with the utmost respect . Pat Warren was friendly and very likable and no pressure on me or my wife. It was like he was my friend all my life and we worked out a great deal and i got the car that day. He is a top of the line salesman and Fairfax Motors should be proud to have him as an employee. Then the finance lady Laura worked the numbers so I could get the best payments possible for me . she went out of her way to make sure everything worked smooth and fast as possible. I was looking for a specific model that I found at Fairfax Motors through a commercial website. I am glad I gave them a call because I was able to make an appointment to drive the car. I felt so comfortable with the personnel of this dealership who was able to explain and guide me trough the process of getting my car. Car-buying is one of my least favorite experiences, but today my husband and I visited Fairfax Motors--and I've changed my mind! We found a car listed online that peeked our interest. We dealt with Joe and Andy and as other reviewers have noted, they were not "pressure" salesmen. Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the gracious woman who handled all the paperwork. The whole transaction was friendly and professional. And--we love our purchase! We'll be back the next time.....

After initial purchase of the vehicle, the sales person was of no help or assistance when the car tags were needed. Vince only cared for the business and had no intention of aiding the customers after the deal was done. Overall poor customer service and a lack of hospitality.

I drive by Fairfax Motors every day and dream of owning a convertible! Today my dream came true thanks to Vincent and Laura--they were terrific! Vincent showed my husband and me a BMW convertible--without even asking, he got the key, put down the roof and invited us to take the car for a test drive. He gave us time to test drive the car and he readily answered our questions. When it came time to talk price, he had all of his research ready and available--at no time did we feel that he was hiding information from us or give us a "sell job". Fairfax Motors was busy and we had several appointments but it was no problem! Vincent and Troy told us to come back a couple hours later! We were able to get things done and come back at a time that was convenient for us! When we returned, Laura had all of our paperwork ready and waiting! Laura is a true professional and walked us through all of our options with ease! He was instrumental in helping secure improved trade-in value for my old car as well. Mike Kim was also extremely accommodating and efficient in completing the transaction.Together with Vincent, they were a great team and helped quickly reach a fair cost for the car and my trade-in vehicle.

Let me start this review by stating that there is not a single sustainable used car dealership in the nation that is not focused on making a profit; this is why they exist. So, the mark of quality is in how the sales staff treat customers and provide them with transparency and information. And it's worth noting that any car buyer can dramatically improve their car-buying experience at any dealership by simply doing the homework; know the vehicle, know the market and research the dealer.In this regard, my recent purchase of a used Toyota Highlander at Fairfax Motors was a great experience. Daniel Fuentes is new to the dealership, but proved himself to be possessed of a customer-focused attitude that will serve him well. He provided stellar service and immediate, responsive and knowledgeable support; especially commendable when taking into account dealing with a demanding buyer like me. There was only one hiccup in communication regarding the transfer of plates to the new vehicle, and he handled it deftly and with grace, though it required revising some paperwork to resolve the situation as I wished. On top of all this, he genuinely loves cars, the business and interacting with people that's something that cannot be taught and should be valued in a salesperson.On the financial side, Laura Davis in the back office was extremely friendly and informative, taking the time to explain in detail the itemized charges over the phone to my satisfaction. She provided maximum transparency and there were no ridiculous or contrived charges that some dealers will incorporate into their sales price.The vehicle itself was in amazing condition, as did appear to be the others in their lot. Although it has more than 100k miles on it, it is exceptionally clean, the engine performs beautifully and it includes all the features I wanted, along with a few bonus features.As I stated up front, all dealers are in this business to make a profit, so if you hope to get the exact vehicle you want at the price you want, then it is incumbent upon you to do the research and come prepared. The final price was only a little more than I wanted to pay, but only due to my needing it immediately and not having the luxury of time to wait for another price drop. That being said, Daniel was willing to engage with his manager several times during negotiations to bring their price down to an acceptable level. (To be honest, considering the quality of the vehicle, the asking price was already fair and the final price was a good deal I did mention I'm demanding, right?) Fairfax Motors was a two-hour drive from my residence, but it was worth the trip to make this purchase and I would recommend dealing with them in the future.And Daniel thanks for recommending that restaurant; it was a great dinner to celebrate the new vehicle purchase!

met Pauline after doing a search for a Mercedes S class late model and she was courteous, efficient, and most of caring. Her personality sold the car for me and I am a salesman.Secondly, when we went to get financing(which we had) we met Laura Davis and she was as genuine as Pauline which made the buying experience even more satisfying. She didn't recommend the financing that we had approved but searched for a better deal.Just good people who did not pressure us or keep us in the dealership all night.Would highly recommend them again.

After a terrible accident on black friday (pedestrian vs car type of accident) and after having been in the car rental industry for 3 months, it was time to finally buy our replacement car. My husband is an avid researcher and only gets the best deals possible. He finally found it: a beautiful Mercedes R series from 2007...immaculate! It was a done deal. The car is gorgeous. Aaron, my husband, dealt with Pauline and and she was amazing and knowledgeable. I was to join Pauline and Aaron after work so we could finalize all the paperwork. Laura was taking care of the financial and paperwork matter. Both women are extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable...we could not ask for better service. Aaron and I were in a hurry to go get our girls so we hastily finished the paperwork and drove off...the next morning I was not so sure about the car anymore. My coworkers told me I should exchange it for something I would enjoy driving etc. I had had no time to test drive it, had no idea what a solid and powerful car was supposed to do having driven those new super light and flimsy cars form the rental company. Aaron talked to Fairfax Motors and this time we had a nice discussion with Ace. Laura came in for more paperwork duty but also because she was concerned about me. They truly are caring. They really wanted to please their customers and would go through length to have me satisfied. That day i test drove another Mercedes....and it felt like my own...and Laura said something to me that made a difference. She said I was too use to driving the cars from the rental company and the Mercedes, BMW etc are a totally different feel. So i took her advice, after driving the other Mercedes I understood what she meant, and I felt in love with my car...we named it Gus the Bus...my 3 year old loves it...Anyways, all this to say that Laura, Pauline and Ace were fantastic. We feel at home with them and they really go above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied customers. They are really friendly and caring and really know how to take care of you. My husband will need a new car soon and we know for sure where we will be shopping!

Buying a car is an experience a lot of people dread, but buying a car in Virginia when you live in Atlanta (my case) compounds the potential for a negative experience drastically. I have to say that my experience with Fairfax motors, Ace and Mike my (salesman) was the easiest and best car buying experience I've ever had! Ace was in constant contact from the beginning. Showed absolutely no reluctance to my request to have the BMW I was considering driven to the local BMW shop for a pre-purchase inspection. They drove the car there and picked it up when its was done. That showed me that they had no fears about the quality of the car. Then they didn't even require a deposit for me to hold the car until I got to DC two days later (the local dealer in Atlanta wouldn't even hold a car when I gave them a deposit and sold a car out from under me - typical smarmy car dealer tactics : not Fairfax). Then Ace had a person drive to pick me up at the airport to get to the dealership to complete the transaction (1 hour roundtrip); again no reluctance on their part to do so. No pressure at all once I got to the dealership and was closing the final deal. The car was everything Ace and Fairfax said it was; a great BMW 335xi. Price was fantastic. Drove back to Atlanta with no problems.I would definitely buy from Ace and Fairfax again, and would give them my unequivocal recommendation for others to do so too. Compared to the interactions I had with the local BMW brand dealership here, Gl**al *mport, Ace and his team were far more professional, courteous and on the "up-and-up" than the bigger brand, bigger dealership. Thanks to Ace and team for the excellent service and great purchasing experience!

I, like many others started my search at the dealer thinking the inventory selection would be superior. I really liked how they took Vladamir under their wings and helped him with any questions he had in assisting my husband and I through the process. I didn't feel that it was a bunch of sales reps competing for a sale but more of a family working together. For me, that creates a comfortable environment and says a lot about the integrity and ethics of Fairfax Motors staff. After making a final decision on the vehicle came the most important portion of purchasing, the financing. Laura Davis was unbelievable to say the least! She worked very hard to get the best financing possible. She is extremely knowledgeable with over 40 years of experience in this area. We have purchased many luxury cards from luxury dealers but this was our first time using Fairfax Motors to purchase a Mercedes GLK 350. They were outstanding! The dealership is not very large and this is a good thing. They have a great selection of luxury cars and they are competitively priced...in fact, quite a bit lower than the larger dealerships...hope it stays that way! They truly work to please their customers...and we have very high expectations when we are spending our money. There is a nice team culture which is evident from the top...no gaming and dealing. The leadership is clearly on the ball...referring to Ace who is the Manager. We had the opportunity to also speak with the owner, Andy, and it is clear that the tone is very effectively set from the top. Laurie Davis was very sweet and patiently answered all the questions that we had about our financing options. Last but certainly not least, is Daniel, our sale associate. Very professional, polite and although he is new to the Company, he was keen to find answers to our questions from his very supportive colleagues. I hope that Fairfax Motors maintain this very unique culture since we will certainly call on Andy when we are in the market for our Mercedes SL 550!

I came up from Hampton Roads to get the car and it was worth the travel. I made a decision on the type of vehicle I wanted and test drove many others over the last month. I have been going to big dealers thinking they had the best options but my experiences were horrible and the vehicles were beat up (smelled, noises, dirty, overpriced) and most of the customer service was garbage...It is crazy how they still blow smoke and bs your way with access to so much information! I then talked with Pauline and she assured me that I would not be disappointed if I made the travel up there for the car...she was correct and the car was everything they described. The cars are in wonderfull condition and I never expected a pre owned dealership to set the bar that high! They offered a great deal and great product with welcoming customer service! If you are in the market for a vehicle that they offer then take a visit for sure!

We got there early, right before they opened and they still greeted us, with a smile. I had a couple of cars in mind and Paulina showed them to me no problem. She was really friendly. Once we bought the car they drew up the papers and got us in our new ride. I will buy from them the next time I am in the market.

Ace, was great. Great leadership, definitely sets a great standard to great customer service. Easily notice by the rest of the staff. I was quickly greeted and treated like family. Pauline my sales person was awesome. Personality was great, made the day easy and fun. Even between other deals I never felt left out. There was always someone there checking up on me and referring to me by name. All in all the best experience I've ever had buying a car. Would definitely recommend FAIRFAX MOTORS. This was a terrific car buying experience and I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality pre-owned vehicle. I had gone to several dealerships explaining the models and price range that I was seeking and then waited for replies. Most of the dealers did not follow up with me, however Fairfax Motors went out of their way to communicate with me and look for a beautiful car at a very reasonable price. I purchased a 2011 RAV4 for my daughter and Michael was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and its operation. When it came to signing papers Laura was efficient and made the process zip by without any hard selling points; she was very respective of my time and didn't drag on the process. Overall, a wonderful car buying experience. Probably the first place I will go to when we need to purchase our next car (hopefully not for a while).

Inquired about vehicle from USAA online. Mr. Web contacted me via telephone and email to let me know all the details about a '09 BMW 535i of interest. I was in Hampton Roads area so there had to be a level of Trust and confidence before traveling the 3 hours in a rental. I had no plans to buy a car until mine was totaled in New York by an unlicensed driver. Luckily, my family was OK despite being rear-ended on the Long Island Expressway. It was a scary experience and that's why I appreciate the understanding and care provided by Fairfax Motors. I wanted a safe car without the usual pressure by new car dealers and their young sales staff ... and I found it with sales professional, Michael Webb and owner, Andy Gurowitz. Each was concerned with, first, the health of my family and, second, with selecting the right car for me in a non-pressure environment. Mr. Webb pre-selected and prepped a MBZ and BMW and let me decide which car worked best for me. I was very impressed they trusted me to borrow the MBZ overnight. Their financing was unbeatable -- two local banks couldn't come close. The MBZ was the perfect choice because of its safety, quality, elegance, and price. You won't find a bigger fan of Fairfax Motors than me. Go somewhere else If you're looking for overpriced cars, high pressure sales tactics, repeated calls and emails, and so called "expert" sales staff with barely any experience. Go to Fairfax Motors if you want a family-owned business that knows cars, has great selection and pricing, and treats you with courtesy and respect.

Fairfax Motors and especially Michael Webb make for a Top of the car buying experience. I placed my inquiry on the website and Michael was very professional with his approach to my car buying needs. I felt welcomed and appreciated by him and all the representatives I met at the dealership. Although I was a little apprehensive about making the trip from Maryland to Virginia, immediately upon arrival I knew I had made the best choice. The 2007 S550 was impeccable and nothing less than what Michael and I had spoke about on the phone. This is my second S series purchase and the buying experience is a very important part of the process when shopping for a high end import. Michael had outstanding knowledge about the vehicle and its operation and all my questions/concerns were satisfied. The rest of the staff(sorry I'm bad with names) were very professional as well. From beginning to the end Mike, JJ and Laura made me feel like part of the family. Price of the vehicle was ok. The vehicle itself was well below the average mileage for that year vehicle(40,000 miles). The car looks and drives like new. Laura got me the best rate I ever got in an auto loan, for my daughters car and she went out of her way to make sure that I get additional warranty for that year vehicle. Not a lot of places will offer a bumper to bumper warranty for that year vehicle. It might be a small dealership but you can definitely trust the staff and that's what matters the most for me. In about 6 months to a year I will be in the market for another Mercedes and this is the only place I will go to.

Michael Webb, my sales consultant at Fairfax Motors, was the consummate and responsive professional! From my first inquiry about the 2013 BMW Z4 I closed the deal on yesterday, Michael regularly apprised of the car's arrival at Fairfax Motors, sent me a number of photos of the vehicle so I could see all aspects of the vehicle, and upon the car's arrival at the dealership, promptly scheduled a test drive for me. I think I appreciated the logic of the experience. He explained how he arrived at the value he offered me for y 2004 RX-8 which i traded in and the car facts sheet covering the additional packages the Z4 had that contributed to the price he was offering to sell the vehicle for. My entire experience was pleasant, low pressure and took just about two hours between arrival at the dealership, test drive, and driving off the lot in my "new to me" Z4. My driving experience coming to work this morning -- WONDERFUL -- no better way to start my morning!

I have purchased at least 25 new or used vehicles for personnel use since 1958. With the exception of one, I have made these purchases through local dealerships in New York State. Around August 20, 2014, I was researching for a specific car on the internet when I found a car at Fairfax Motors.com (Virginia). The 28 pictures encouraged me to contact this dealership. I proceeded to contact the Fairfax Motors and was put in touch with Mr. Zack Owens, Senior Sales Executive. In as much as I live approximately six hours away, there were several phone conversations before I made a decision to make a deposit, as a reservation to purchase the car, until my wife and I could make a trip to view the vehicle and possibly make the purchase.On Saturday, August 30th, we arrived at the dealership and found the vehicle to be exactly as represented in the numerous photos and after a short test drive completed the purchase. Both my wife and I are extremely pleased with the courteous, no sales pressure, attention received during the process. In addition, we received prompt service during the final process that permitted us to make the return trip the same day. In conclusion, I rate this dealership and the professional sales service provided the best I have ever experienced and would not hesitate to do business with them again.

The experience was amazing. Everyone was so friendly, they were not pushy like most dealers. They let us, as the parents come in and test drive the vehicle, and see what we thought of it. We brought him in that night and he was so happy they made him feel so welcome, they made his 1st car a great buying experience. I found my dream car, a 1982 DeLorean, through Fairfax Motor's Autotrader ad. It looked great! I contacted Zack Owens, who was more than happy to answer questions about the car and supply me with more photos. Once I decided to go ahead with the car, Zack and the good people at Fairfax Motors began helping with the process to buy and export the car.I have to admit than buying a car from the United States is a nerve wracking process, especially sight un-seen. It involves a lot of paperwork and communication between both parties in Canada and the United States. Though there were problems and some confusion with the process of payment, Andy Gurowitz and Zack Owens worked to fix the issues quickly along with the people involve on the Canadian side. The whole staff when we arrived from Kira Caporale at the front desk to Adolfo Zubiatewere when we were inspecting the car, were friendly and helpful. They fixed a few small issues I had with the tail lights and a switch while we were there and made sure the car was in tip-top condition to make the drive up the East Coast from Virginia to Canada. Zack and David Kim made the paperwork and buying process simple and straightforward and even helped with sending the proper paperwork to the border to help with exportation. For a 1982 DeLorean, it made the 1000+ mile trip with ease... and attracted a lot of attention doing it! From thumbs up, to smiles to talking to strangers at gas stops to even talking to people while waiting in busy New York traffic, the car performed like a champ thanks to the great care taken by the people at Fairfax Motors. The buying process may have started out a bit rocky at first, but people on both the US and Canadian sides made this dream come true. Let me talk about people, especially Zack Owens and Adolfo Zubiate. Zack is an extremely friendly sales person who is open and honest, and kept his cool as I was buying (and test driving) both him and the car that I purchased. I put him through many non-conventional challenges (best description for brevity) using my skills as a professional negotiator who interacts with foreign officials routinely. He did not know that, but I was impressed by his professional attitude and zeal for customer satisfaction. Together with his inventory manager, Adolfo, they even offered an excellent after-sales service that I demanded which is sort of unique if one is buying a pre-owned car. My previous Mercedes was a brand new car. After this purchase, I have to say, make a smart choice and buy it from Fairfax Motors. Zack will take good care of you.

The reason Mr. Owens deserves the ratings we provided (5) across the board, is because he earned it. I have purchased vehicles over the years as a USAA member, and have yet to experience customer service and professionalism at the level he provided. We had a brief conversation late on a Saturday afternoon regarding one of the cars on the lot, and a few days, not weeks later we were driving the car home. Mr. Owens is not your typical sales professional, he delivered on exactly what we discussed. He did not try to sell us something we were not interested in, nor did he bore us with small talk. He got us in and out as promised. Mr. Owens has earned my business and will definitely receive referrals from me in the future.

I was looking for a used bmw 335xi which was very hard to come by with all of the packages I wanted and in the right color. I'm from Pittsburgh, PA and had to extend my search to out of state and found a great car at Fairfax Motors in Virginia. I spoke with Zack Owens over the phone and he was incredibly helpful. He made the whole process of buying a car from out of state very easy and even told me to call his personal number if I had any questions which I used several times throughout the process and he was always happy to assist me. I drove 3 1/2 hours to see the car and they had all the financing and paperwork pre-arranged over the phone and ready for me so that I could come in and drive out quick and easy. The car was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. When dealing with luxury cars, you expect quality service along with the quality car, and that's exactly what I got with Zack Owens and Jimmy with financing.

My mother and I was tremendously please with the customer service rendered by Mr. Zack Owens and Mike Kim. I happen to find a Honda Accord EX-L that my mother was interested in via the internet at Fairfax Motors. Since I happen to live in the area, I decided to check it out. Mr. Owens had the vehicle prepared for me to view and test drive upon my visit. I explained to him that I was shopping for my mother and told him that she was interested in purchasing the vehicle. Long story short, Mr. Owens was contacted by my mothers financial institution and proceeded with the vehicle purchase. Once the finances were in order, all my mother had to do was complete the transaction and pick up the vehicle. I gave Mr. Owens a date of when I would have my mother at the dealership to pick up the car since she was coming from North Carolina. Yes! It was to good of a deal to pass on. Zack's professionalism and courtesy made the transaction painless, and my mom a very satisfied customer. Mike Kim ensured the vehicles readiness to hit the open road reaffirming the great customer service provided. They even insisted that my mom give them a courtesy call to ensure her safe return to NC. Now that's customer service!

I called about a car I'd seen advertised. When I arrived at the dealership Jimmy let me test drive the car right away. I had plenty of time to drive the car and decide whether it was in good condition and worth the price. I never felt pressured to buy, Jimmy was friendly, informative, and helpful. The car was in great shape, it had all the features that were advertised, and we did the paperwork in short order. Well what happened was a miscommunication on what was written into my warranty and if I was covered for repairs so I could pass MD inspection. Unfortunately I was not covered but Stanley helped see to it that half the costs would be covered by them! Now thats customer service.

I purchased a used 2004 Acura TL. Long story short I bought the car because it was the cheapest I could find for it's age mileage and model. There was a reason for that. When I took it in for a MD inspection it failed. Big surprise. I knew something was up when Jimmy had me sign a waiver stating they would not be held responsible for the car not passing inspection. My fault for thinking Stanley Azor, Jimmy and Mike would be honest people. I mean they sell used cars for a living-I'm a fool for that. The problems showed up when I finished signing the papers. Don't expect anything resembling customer service after you lift the pen from the paper because you won't get it. I called Stanley to see if they would cover half of the costs of fixing the car due to the warranty that was on the car. "I'll see if Mike can call you back within the hour." Apparently Mike doesn't know who a phone works because I got not a peep from them until I call again the next day. This time Stanley tries to tell me I have no warranty. Really? So whats this document stating that I do. "Uhh......let me talk to Jimmy about that and I'll call you right back." As I write this it's been over an hour and I don't expect a word from them anytime soon. The cost of fixing the car is $800 and I know I'm lucky because I've heard people who got it way worse than me especially since I got plenty of mechanic friends. A bit of advice for anyone buying used: GET A PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTION. If they refuse to let you do so WALK AWAY. Again long story short: Don't buy from Fairfax Motors. They don't deserve your business.

Being a person that always has his guard up when dealing with auto dealerships, I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with Sean. He was friendly and enjoyable to work with. The experience with financing, paperwork and the completion of the sale was beyond our expectations. Mike was also a pleasure to work with concerning the other items that we were concerned about on our new vehicle. He was able to solve the issues in a timely manner. We went to this dealership due to their partnership with our local credit union and having several cars on the lot that we were interested in. Our salesman, Nobel, was very friendly and answered our questions about the cars we were considering. We had been at two other dealers prior to this to compare costs, etc. and we found Fairfax Motors to be the most friendly and easy-going, with prices starting a little less than the others. We purchased a vehicle and were very pleased with the price. I didn't give 5 stars on price, only because I'm sure a better negotiator probably could have saved a little more, but we were very happy with the final outcome. We also had limited interaction with Jimmy Diani and a manager (sorry, forget his name), and both were very professional, courteous, and friendly. We would recommend Fairfax Motors to our friends, and I would encourage anyone to take the time to stop to compare them against other competitors in the area.

Stanley and Mike were an unexpected surprise. They were professional, friendly, and open throughout the purchasing process. Mostly, we appreciated their straightforwardness and openness in explaining options and costs, both for the purchase as well as for the trade-in. Both my wife and I were more than satisfied. Louis was very personable, and helpful. I was unable to get to the dealership to pick up my vehicle and Louis picked me up at the metro, which he did not have to do. I purchased a 2010 Ford Mustang and I love it. I also think that Mr.Kim should have a great rating because he told me up front that there was a part broken with the A/C and fixed it before I picked up my vehicle. He is also very personable and helpful as well.

I had a very positive experience with Fairfax Motors. My sales associate Ali was very knowledgeable and friendly. He either knew or immediately obtained the answer to every question we had about the car we were looking at and its history. He assisted in the entire process of buying a first time car, including going so far as to recommend insurance providers. Lastly, as mentioned in the reviews above, Ali has a good habit of checking in with his sales after they are complete to ensure that the customer received the positive experience they deserve. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Louis was responsive to my emails and the car was listed at a little more than fair price, so I was interested. Obviously tried to haggle but not much success, which was ok, since I didn't expect much moving over the internet. I drove 1.5 hours to the dealership. Louis is very nice and courteous to his customers and a very good salesman. He did point out some interesting features. The finance manager Ed was also very nice. For the most part, an easy and fair deal. Now, I do have some negative feedback as well. The car has nearly bald tires in the front, a cracked front grill (which I know I haven't done in the past 30 days, and it was covered by the front license plate), some paint that is badly touched up, and some scratches. There is also only one key/fob, which I only found out about after I closed the deal and was leaving. I will take responsibility as the consumer that I didn't pay attention, mainly because I had a baby with me and I had to rush in order to make it back at a decent hour since I live so far away. I think that given these flaws I probably overpaid by about 1200 dollars. I also emailed several times about my license and registration over the 30 days that my temp tags were good. I just received my tags today, 2 days after the temps expired. My final gripe is that the finance manager asked me what my APR would be. I told him 1.75 over 5 years, I was already pre approved. He argued with me in a bit of a condescending tone. I understand his job is to get me to buy the extended warranty, but I think he was underestimating me for whatever reason. Overall this is a good lot, and the staff wasn't too bad. I probably wouldn't buy from here again unless they deliver, simply because it is difficult to negotiate on a car you drive 1.5 hours for (obviously you want it if you drive that far) and I didn't have the time to properly look the car over and negotiate a better price.I would recommend the dealership, if you live in the area.

This dealership is a disorganized mess. The salesmen will tell you what you want to hear to sell their cars. They told us the problems we discovered immediately with the car after driving it a day would be covered by their own 30 day warranty. Well, take nothing they say as fact. We bought the car and was told the windshield washer problem, door lock problem, and the large scrape in the door ( which occurred by their own carelessness) would be corrected by them. Wrong! They told us that the car was still under manufacturer's warranty. Wrong! We traded in a car, only to return to the dealer two days later and see that the rear panel of the car was smashed. This is how they treat their cars. When I asked what happened, I was told that "you brought it in that way." Wrong! It is evident that they buy the cars on auction and simply throw them on their lot after detailing them to look nice for a quick sale. We had to pay for a second key ($400). We were literally at the dealer nightly for days straight, due to their inability to get the paperwork organized. The license plates were held up because they didn't know if an emissions test was performed (which we had to do), and then they issued new plates when we repeatedly requested our present plates be transferred to this new car. We had reservations, and we should have acted on them and drove away that first visit. Being new to this area we were way too trusting.After spending close to $2,000 of our own money at the manufacturer dealership, the car seems to be running fine. We would told that if we submitted a positive review we would be given free car washes. This was a huge disappointment in purchasing a luxury vehicle. For the money we spent we should have had these items fixed as promised. I have never experienced such poor service. Spend your $30,000 elsewhere.

THE WORST DEALERSHIP EVER. I went in with my boss who is actually friends with the owner they were super nice at first "pre-approved" me for an Audi I loved and the salesman Stanley pulled it out and scratched a huge scratch on the side of it. They said they would fix it...I drove home with it 2 months later they call me and said the bank would not approve the loan. The finance manager Ed Riley had lied on my application for the "pre-approval" stating that I was w2 income when I had specifically told him I was 1099. They made me return the car to them after I had been driving it for so long. Then they found me an 01 VW and was trying to sell it to me for 6800$ and held on to my deposit. When I asked for my deposit back and wanted to go else where they refused to give it back and forced me to buy this VW even though the blue book value for a mint condition is only 5500$ and the condition of this car was in less than poor so it should have only been 3000$ AT MOST. There were several rust spots on the car and the underside the check engine light was on it wouldn't even pass state inspection and they refused to pay for the inspection. Now it's been one thing after another my car has been in the shop broken more than I've been driving it! This weekend the car completely died as I was in the middle of driving. The alternator crapped out! I almost died on the road!!! PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!!!!! I wish I hadn't.

Fairfax Motors is one of the few dealerships I would recommend! I called before I showed up letting them know I was looking to buy a car and trade in the car I was currently driving. As soon as I arrived all of the employees were very welcoming and willing to help me find exactly what I was looking for. The salesman I had the pleasure of working with was Ali Nasir. He listened to everything I wanted out of my new/used car and ended up finding the perfect fit for me. Throughout the entire process he was very kind (not too pushy) and made sure I was pleased with my decision before I drove my new/used car off the lot. Even after my WONDERFUL purchase, Ali gave me a follow up phone call to make sure everything was still going okay and if I was happy with my car... Which of course I was! After having bad experiences purchasing used cars in the past I was a little reluctant to approach another dealership. I was in need of an additional car for my elderly parent and for my teenage son but thoughts from the past kept me from purchasing what I needed. My experience this time around was great! I initially visited Fairfax Motors on-line and once I located what I thought might be a perfect car, I e-mailed the store and was contacted immediately. My sales associate, Ali, was knowledgable, approachable, patient and very professional. He answered my questions and allowed me and my family time to view and road test the vehicle. Overall, I was very pleased with my experience at Fairfax Motors. Nobel was always very courteous and friendly. His first impression kept me interested in dealing with Fairfax Motors. Mike was also pleasant to deal with, even if our relationship was more business focused. The OK rating I gave for pricing was mainly due to my trade in. I was quoted one price, then had it lessened several minutes later after the dealership they had made a paperwork mistake. Even though they owned up to their mistake, I still feel they should have honored their original offer. To be fair, Mike tried to offer compensation via oil changes and fuel fill ups. Overall, I was able to get the car I wanted for around the price I expected with minimal hassle or frustration. My process was arduous, but the crew at Fairfax Motors made it painless and decent.

Saw a car I liked and called a day before to confirm availability, the next day I got an email back confirming the availability of the same car. 30 minutes after receiving the email we arrived to take a look at the car and was told that it was sold last night. Either their inventory is seriously messed up or they just lied to us just to get us into their dealership. Needlessly to say they tried to sell us a different car but at that point after having been lied to it just felt like a slap in the face. This IS our first time buying a used car so it has certainly left a bitter taste and a valuable lesson. On a positive note they were very polite and apologetic, just disappointed that we left with no car and a whole morning wasted.

By far the BEST car buying experience I have ever had. Quick, efficient, friendly, open and transparent. We were in and out of the dealership in my sons new car in just a little over an hour and 15 minutes, and that included the test drive. I found the car I wanted and got a good deal on the car. The dealer I dealt with gave great customer service even when he was on vacation in Las Vegas. I came to pick up the car the next day. The receptionist made offered water while waiting and made sure my friend and I were taken care of. The finance manager was very nice, he let me know what I needed to have completed for the car's proper registration, and tags.

I purchased a 2006 Lexus IS250. It was a tremendous experience. I saw the price online, and sent an email. I received an email back with the hour and scheduled an appointment with Stanley Azor. He was quite frank, nice, and knowledgeable about the product. I had a few questions about some scratches on the bumper and I was able to get the scratches cleaned by their Inventory Manager Adolfo. I was a bit worried about some of the reviews regarding tags so I was quite happy that I received my plates with three weeks(they had given me temporary plates for 30 days). Overall, I would rank this dealership at the top of my purchase experiences. I have purchased over ten cars throughout my life and this place ranked right up there. The place was also very fun to be at and quite clean. There was good energy among the coworkers.

I made a deal with these people over the phone. We traveled over an hour to get to them and though we had some extenuating circumstances they agreed to deliver the vehicle we had chosen to us. Five minutes later we were told the manager had changed his mind. The general manager heard how upset we were and took us into his office where he continued to make excuse after excuse as to why they could no longer accommodate us. We went with him into his office thinking he was going to make things right only to find out he had wasted even more of our time. This waste of time put us in the middle of rush hour traffic. Do not believe a word these people tell you they are disingenuous to say the least.

Purchased a 2010 Lexus IS 250. Dealt with Jimmy. We ended up getting there a bit later then we wanted and they were almost closed. Jimmy took time to speak with us and was very professional the whole time. He didnt' so much as try and sell us but inform us about the car as well as answered all of our questions. They did not have the manual or extra key but ordered both and we received them shortly thereafter. The staff was friendly and pleasant.

I found Fairfax Motors while looking through the Pen Fed site. My car was on it's last legs and I needed something for my small family. I had my heart set on a Honda Crosstour. FM had one listed for $3-4k less than anyone else with the same year and make. I received a phone call moments after submitting my information from Paul. We talked for a bit and he had no problem meeting with me, even though it was his day off, the very next day. After my test drive we talked finances. I was able to use my car as trade in and both Paul and the financial agent (I feel so bad I've forgotten his name! He was great!) worked very hard to get me a great loan offer. I enjoyed my time spent and the guys there were very knowledgeable and so very willing to help! Thanks guys!

My experience with this dealer made me beyond satisfied. The vehicle was used but in pristine condition. I worked with Jimmy as the sales associate. He was great to work and was detailed oriented. He was not pushy and answered all of my questions. He worked with me to make sure I was happy with the deal. He also followed up on everything that was asked including an extra key for the vehicle. I am very happy with my buying experience working with Jimmy and Fairfax Motors. I would happily work with them again in the future!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would.I purchased a 2006 Range Rover Sport "in good condition" and loaded with all the amenities one could ask for. Well needless to say that after two months of owning the vehicle, I purchased from Fairfax Motors, I decided to sell it. The vehicle was in such bad condition that I had my own mechanic, an independent Range Rover mechanic, as well as Range Rover of Alexandria all tell me it would cost between $4000-$5000 just to get the vehicle suitable enough to drive. Even before these major issues were discovered, I contacted Fairfax Motors several times in the first 2 weeks to report a headset tv monitor not working, to which the reply was "you already purchased the vehicle". I eventually took the vehicle back anyway and the manager looked at it for maybe 15 minutes and said he didn't know what was wrong and it wasn't their problem. This prompted me to have the vehicle checked by the 3 mechanics mentioned above for any other issues, which revealed the larger mechanical issues. It is 100% my fault for not reporting the larger issues within the first 30 days, although given the response I got with the tv monitor issue, I doubt it would've made a difference. This is definitely a "Hustle Shop" as someone mentioned previously.Needless to say this was the worst car buying experience of my life and I will definitely not be purchasing another vehicle from Fairfax Motors nor will I be recommending my friends or associates to your dealership.

Paul quickly responded to my original email. He answered my questions knowledgeably. He faxed me the car fax when I inquired about it, and disclosed that the vehicle had been in an accident. When I visited the dealer to test drive the vehicle, he had it ready and waiting for me. Overall, I was very satisfied with my experience with Fairfax Mtrs.

Say this vehicle online, submitted a request for information, payam called me back and Zachary , tony I do not have the best credit, they went out of there way and got me approved and a great rate for my history, everyone else wanted 10- 13%. The ext Cadillac is awesome condition and quality, the dealership experience was the best I have had in 20 yrs. I live in east providence RI 450mi away they even shipped the xet right to my house and took my trade also saving mr time and money. I was surfing around the internet and found literally the car of my dreams sitting on the lot here less than ten miles from my house, I thought it was too good to be true at a price too good to be true. I ended up rolling down on a Saturday to test drive it and see if I loved it as much in person as I did looking at pictures and it turns out I actually loved it more haha. One minor issue was there was no gas in the car and I ended up putting $5 in on the test drive (I'll circle back to that). I got back to the lot to be greeted by the sales rep who had set me up with the test drive, Payam. He was extremely friendly and helpful explaining about the car and sitting me down to talk options, I ended up leaving my finance information with him and he said he would give me a call back. He called back and I told him I wanted to make the deal as soon as possible, he told me to come in the next day (Sunday) and Zack would take care of me and my two trade-ins to cover the downpayment. I showed up the next morning at open and Payam showed up with his family, and they dropped him off while they went shopping so that he could help me out. He came in on his day off to help me out, just wanted to point out that this isn't a one time thing for him. He also just sold a 2007 Acura MDX to my friend and also came in on his day off to take care of her as well, just as exceptionally. He makes customer service his #1 priority. Anyway, we encountered some bumps with our trade-ins not covering the downpayment (they were trash lol) so we agreed to meet back on Monday when the banks were open to put a cash downpayment on top. I showed back up on Monday and Mike/Payam were there and offered $200 more for the trade-ins than they had on Sunday since they felt bad about having had me there for four hours on Sunday to get nothing really done, after we were finalizing the details they helped me get a fantastic rate for a first time buyer from their main bank, most banks were trying to offer 9-10% since I'm still a student but they were able to snag me around the 3.4% range, very thankful. They then knocked off $100 from the price for the gas, and a couple of marks on the rims, and filled up the tank for me to take home. The next day after buying it my passenger window (this is a coupe) broke and stopped functioning but was able to stay up, I called Payam up and he spoke with Mike who assured me they would take care of it no problem setting me up an appointment for a few days later. Less than 24 hours later my window proceeded to fall down and not rise up, bad news with storms coming. I went into the dealership the next morning to show them and Mike took the keys drove it around to the shop and got to work almost immediately, free of charge. I don't know how people have bad things to say in the other posts, I had been hustled at the Dodge dealership and Chevy dealers down the street and never felt anything like that here. They were all extremely friendly and accommodating, Payam and Mike in particular made it their mission to make my first car buying experience a successful one, they definitely succeeded and I'm very grateful for it.

loved them fair price great car still smiling ear to ear .. I had no issues with them the car I came to see what rite out front. I got my tags a WEEK LATER AND THEY PAINTED MY BUMPER AT NO COST TO ME. THE PERSON I DELT WITH (PAYAM) WAS THE GREATEST... GOT ME MORE 4 MY TRAD IN THEN EXPECTED IN AND OUT NO PROBLEMS.

This was an easy buying experience. The staff was professional (Payam was very knowledgeable). They had quality, well-maintained used vehicles. The negotiating process was reasonable and civilized. They also called the next day to see how everything with the car was working out. They are USAA and AAA preferred. Nice staff, good clean facilities and a very good buying experience.

We bought a used 2007 BMW 335i that turned out to have a myriad of problems that weren't even the Dealers fault. Fairfax Motors stepped up beyond belief in their solutions, customer service and repairs. Tony the Manager and Robert the Inventory Manager took special time to respond to our problems, offer more than fair repairs and follow up, and generally make some difficult problems with this lovely car just go away. I think they went far beyond what any other dealership would have typically done, and did so with immense courtesy and respect. This kind of "customer care" (which is usually a euphemism for a LACK of customer care) is extremely rare these days, and typical of dealerships selling cars in the 100's of thousands. We felt heard, understood, and supported throughout what turned out to be a long repair/return cycle. This was particularly noteworthy in that the problems with the car were really the fault of the original seller and auction house, not Fairfax Motors. I don't think we have ever been treated more fairly, and I've been buying cars since 1968. I would heartily recommend this dealership. The owner Andy Gurowitz and Tony the new manager "get" what it means to build lasting relationships with their customer audience. This is important to me, as I am in advertising and marketing, and we tell our clients over and over how important this is.I would not hesitate to return for our next car and will warmly recommend them to anyone looking for interesting cars, at reasonable prices, and a very easy low pressure environment. Having an extremely long commute, from Fredericksburg to Fairfax every day I needed to trade in my gas guzzling Dodge for something a little more economical. I had horrible credit and couldn't find anyone to approve me for a vehicle. Not only did Fairfax Motors get me approved but they got me approved at a very good interest rate on an almost brand new Honda Insight Hybrid. They also gave me above blue book value on my trade in. The guys at Fairfax Motors are extremely professional and were great to work with.

My fiancee and I were looking for a new vehicle because she was involved in an accident which totaled our last car. We were not expecting on purchasing a new vehicle but due to the circumstances we were forced to purchase. We contacted our insurance company (USAA) which gave us a list of preferred dealer that they deal with and have great ratings. I contacted the dealership and spoke with a salesman (Stanley Azor) who was great and very courteous! Within a couple of hours I was getting a call right back letting me knows he had an approval for us! Within two days we drove from Baltimore to Fairfax and there it was (2004 Mercedes Benz C320) waiting for us, nice and clean :-)Once we got back to Baltimore, the vehicles check engine light came on. We took it to Auto Zone, who done a diagnostics test and found that it was the Crankshaft Position Sensor. We called the dealership back and they said to bring the vehicle back down the Fairfax and they would be glad to fix the problem. Before we could make it down there the sensor died completely rendering the vehicle from moving. So we got it towed to a local auto repair and had the work completed. We called the dealership again, and spoke with Zack Byrd and he was a pleasure to work with as well. Zack had us fax over the receipts and he sent us a check for the difference. Was slightly worried about Fairfax Motors after reading some other online reviews. So approached with some trepidation to look at a Mercedes CLK they had advertized. Was greeted immediately by Omar and was put at ease straight away with his friendly and helpful manner but not pushy at all. He immediately stated he woudl be happy to help me with anything and there would be no obligation or expectations to buy a car. he continued to be very helpful and accommodating all teh way through the process. Also met with Tony to discuss the deal - he was also very helpful and accomodating - they even immediately agreed to let me get the car fully checked out by my mechanic before I put any pen to paper. Both were great guys and ensured I was comfortable throughout the whole process - I was especially nervous as I had never spent anything like this amount on a nice car before - I asked lots of questions and made them confirm lots of minor detail questions, which they did without a problem. After the sale they handled the follow up items and tag/title paperwork very quickly and efficiently.

Me & my mother both just purchased two cars from this dealership we were met by Omar who brung us a cold glass of water on which had to be one of the hottest days of the summer. We sat down spoke to him about the first car we were interested in he helped out a lot while we were filling out paper work gave us really good prices on both the cars we wanted both with warranties and in good condition. After seeing how well they treated my mother I went in the next week & purchased my truck I've had it for about two weeks now & have no second thoughts about it! I prefer anyone looking for a car to go to these guys. Omar tony & Louis are by far three of the best sales men I've dealt with.

You will be fooled!After being sold a Range rover that did not pass inspection, charges to Fix damages way off, they sold me another car that did not pass inspection again after raising price initially posted on the internet of course. Then, they found me financing at certain rate and few days later send me the paperwork with a higher rate!Management in RUDE, stay away from them, them and check the BBB Better Business Bureau, lots complaints have been filed.

First of all everyone is on the same page here at this dealership so don't be fooled by the GM or Owner. The first truck they sold be couldnt have legally passed inspection and after a month the truck still wasn't able to pass Md inspection. Their solution was to sell me another overpriced truck that they failed to tell me was in a reported collision, runs poorly and gave me 14k for the first truck that they sold me for 16k. Beware......

Bought a great car at a great price the breakdown came when it was time for my tags. I made multiple calls to get them to send me my tags only to be hung up on, not have my calls returned and just plain blow off. Financially the day my temp plates were due to expire they called and refused to overnight the tags. Before they make any claims I had all the required paperwork in their hands within three days of buying the car and I shipped it overnight and return receipt. This is a shady low class dealership. I had a vibe when I walked in and should have known better. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! STAY AWAY!

My wife and I did a search online and found what appeared to be the ideal car for us. They had it listed at $26k so my wife and I got a bank check for $25k and went to see the car expecting to negotiate for somewhere between $25 and $26. We had spoken to Jimmy the night before and planned to see him at the dealership. We arrived, met Jimmy, drove the car and were intending to make the purchase. Everything was going fine, but when we got back from the test drive we were met by Tony, the manager. He ushered us into his office and immediately started telling us how that was his favorite vehicle on the lot and that there were at least two other people who were interested in the car. He was building his case for not negotiating. And that's exactly what his position was. He wouldn't take a dime off the car and didn't even offer to negotiate the $400 processing fee. But that's not really even the part that upset my wife most. Tony spoke only to me and barely acknowledged my wife, and the car is for her. When called on it, Tony said "...maybe you should switch chairs then" Anyway the whole transaction was feeling slimy so we walked out without the car. We drove straight to the Audi dealership and happily spent $35k

Louis contacted me promptly upon our interest in a particular vehicle. Because of work, we had limited times to come in and see the vehicle and then to finalize the process. He did not rush or pressure us, but answered all our questions and made the whole process the best we've ever experienced in purchasing a vehicle. He was able to take care of processes right then and there. Louis was very friendly and knowledgeable, took care of us calmly and expeditiously and we drove off with our new purchase very happy. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and are extremely pleased with our vehicle.

I dropped my car off for some paint service after making sure they knew i was leaving for out of town in a few days. After quoting me an extremely high price they then told me that the car would be ready...like a fool I agreed. The day its supposed to be ready I call Stanley who tells me that it is ready and then as I'm half way there he calls back to tell me the car isn't done despite the rush fee I paid. This dealer is terrible.

I highly recommend that any one who is looking for a vehicle visit Jimmy Diani and the team at Fairfax Motors. I spoke with Jimmy on the phone and Ive never purchased a vehicle far away from my home. I lived 3 hours away and asked Jimmy for his take of the vehicle and he was spot on with his take on the condition. Sandra in finance was a pleasure to deal with as well. All in all it was a great purchase experience and I will go as far as returning to fairfax motors for my future vehicle purchases.

Interesting that this dealership gets exactly one (the first) page of good reviews and then they plummet dramatically. Someone trying to skew the results? To be fair, we heard there two dealerships housed in one - so it's possible all are true. Our experience, however, borders on the extremely terrible. This is what happens when you buy cars from the Mike Kim side of the dealership:We knew exactly what we wanted and had been researching for months. Before even going out to the dealership (a feat that required renting a car), we were fairly certain that if it was in good order, it was the car we wanted. After a fantastic interaction with our sales representative (who in no way is responsible for the terrible turn this story takes), we were seconds from closing the deal. The checks (ours and our banks) had been signed and were being handed over. The contract had been signed. And then, out of no where, the owner, Mike Kim, tries to renege on one of the terms of the sale (that they check the brakes and address if any problems because they had felt a bit fishy on the test drive). Mind you, this is AFTER we had signed and he had already agreed to do that. After insisting that the brakes were fine, Mr. Kim tried to completely renege on the agreement. Deal over. He was actually so obstinant that he pretended he had every right to do so because he "knew the brakes were fine." i.e. there was actually something shady there and he had promised to address them but instead was going to try and get away with just saying "yes, we checked them." The deal was literally over (he was bluffing trying to get us to concede) and the checks had to be ripped up. He waited until after everything was done!!! Mind you, this is after 3.5 hours of being there trying to close this deal. His staff, who had been amazing and had stayed late to help close the deal, were as shocked as we were. His ego and bargaining tactics were so strong, he actually tried to bully us by changing the terms and waiting until after we had signed to do so. No one left that night happy and he was genuinely surprised he didn't "get" us. I became later utterly convinced that there was something seriously wrong with those brakes... If they genuinely were fine, there wouldn't have been a problem. Talk about movie-level sleezy car dealer. (but again, his staff was awesome and just as shocked as we were... or so it seemed)

Found vehicle we wanted through an internet search. Went to the dealer, the car was exactly as advertised. Paid for it with prepaid financing and drove it away. Haven't had a problem with the vehicle since. Runs well and is reliable. Main thing is my wife likes the vehicle very much and she is not worried that it will have a break down.

Great car buying experience again!!! I found the car online and negotiated over the phone. I rented a car and drove from Va Beach with a rental. They picked me up at the Avis rental center in my new car. It was detailed, filled up and exactly what I expected. They spent the time to show me all the features on the car and synced my phone and set up the navigation system for my 5 hour ride home. My family has bought a number of cars from Fairfax motors over the years and have been very pleased with the entire process, otherwise we wouldn't keep purchasing from them. Great prices and people. I financed through the dealership because they were able to offer me a much better rate than my credit union or USAA. Great experience.Love my new A6. Highly recommend Fairfax Motors.

In the end, I received virtually everything I asked for and the final price and financing terms for the car was fair to both sides. On a personal note, they were all extremely courteous and friendly. These guys have the best prices and best quality when it comes to pre-owned cars. I've purchased 4 cars from them over the last 9 years (my most recent purchase was 3 weeks ago). I was talking to my sales guy - Joe, and he told me that they are under new management and the staff as a whole has only been there for 2 months. Trust me when I say this, the place may not be new but its certainly IMPROVED. I was in and out in under and hour and I've never had a more enjoyable experience at a car dealership.

My son and I both purchased cars at Fairfax Motors. We also each paid an additional $5000 for a bogus warranty. It was two years ago and the nightmare won't be over for another three years. My son bought a 2002 xk. When he drove it off the lot he noticed that it shook slightly. He thought perhaps it was the the fact that it was a sports car. The next day it got worse and he brought it back. they gave him an old junk car to drive. They kept it for two weeks and when he picked it up nothing had changed. This continued for several months. We took it to a legit Jaguar dealer and they suspected it of being a flood car from Katrina. The oil light came on. We took it back and they said it was a faulty ight. A month later the engine burned out because there was an oil leak that they failed to find. The warranty was bogus and they refused to pay for the engine. We paid the $10,000 for the engine and everything else in the car fell apart. The rear window caught fire spontaneously while we were in it, the brake system completely failed. The transmission slipped and on and on. We finally traded it in on another car at a legit dealer and got under $10,000 for it and still had a balance of $29,000 which they rolled into a new loan. Basically he is paying for two cars. He is a young college grad trying to get married and pay college loans and now he has this burden to face. He can't afford to get married or anything else for at least another 3 years!

I am making it my mission to find every car dealer website to warn people about the nonsense that goes on at Fairfax Motors. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with any business-period! They do not complete paperwork in any sort of timely fashion and will not pay off your trande until they feel like it. I have been there 10 times since buying my car due to things they have negelected to do or forgotten about. Do not buy a car from them unless you have the patience of a saint.

This is a sleezy Car dealership! Beaware they will promise all sorts of things. They lie about a car in what condition it is they say its in good condition but the moment someone else has bought the car, in order to get you to buy another car, they say it was in a bad condition. And watch what you give them, they stole from me $2500, I gave them a deposit and changed my mind literally an hour after I stepped out of the store and they didnt return my deposit. They are thugs just by the look at them, I should have known better the moment I walked into the store.
