I am in love with my Routan and appreciated the hard work everyone put into getting me into this vehicle. That being said the wait for the vehicle was way too long! I tried to pre-plan the trip as we were coming a great distance and due to miscommunications it didn't work out as well as I anticipated it would. I was also disappointed that after an all day wait we had to stop on the way home to get gas because the tank was not full. It may be a courtesy to make sure when someone is spending the money we did that a full tank of gas be thrown in ($30 on a multi-thousand dollar deal isn't much for a dealership to absorb)!

Staff professional, knowledgeable, helped sort through electrical problems we were having with the SUV, however... When I asked about automatic transmission service, I was quoted a price of over $800 for fluid change which I thought is way out of line for this service. The Touareg was used for towing by previous owner in Texas so I am concerned that the transmission was worked hard in the heat of Texas summers. I simply wanted to change the fluid to stave off any future issues I might be having due to severe service. I intend to find a mechanic that will change the fluid at a more reasonable cost. I am sorry that VW does not support that type of service and would be more willing to incur costs of complete transmission replacement (costs I would be expected to pay) Luckily I purchased an extended warranty should the Transmission fail.

From my initial phone conversation with John Reszke I found that he was very helpful, honest, and to the point. He answered my questions and arranged to get the Golf I wanted to look at from one of their sister dealerships in Cincinnati. He worked through an issue I had with my trade-in which was related to the VW Diesel Buyback program. My wife and I came in and test drove the car that afternoon. John answered all our questions without any pressure. He shared a lot of helpful information on the VW I was considering. John worked with his Sales Manager and helped me purchase the Golf for a great price. Our trip to Fairfield from our home in Florence Kentucky was absolutely worth the drive. The closing process was very simple, thanks to Josh Cole, their Business Manager. The whole staff worked very well together to make us feel welcome with no pressure to buy. They are honest and will not try to "oversell" you. I bought new tires for my car and the company I bought them from told me that the car needed over $1,400 worth of work. Thankfully, I went to get a second opinion at FF VW before having the work done. They told me it was fine and that it didn't need anything! I have two Beetles and trust them completely to maintain the cars according to manufacturers guidelines.

Ryan was very knowledgeable about not only the car I test drove and bought (2016 VW GTI), but other cars in its class as well. It really gave me a good idea of where the car I wanted stands against similar models. Also, he was very willing to go out of his way to help me learn about my new vehicle, and he was honest about every aspect of the transaction and the car itself.The day I picked up my GTI, Jake (I believe that's who it was) also helped me out. He was a great help and showed me a few extra things about the car's features.

My salesman, Jonathan Petrey, was outstanding. He held true to his word that he would do anything do earn my business. Jonathan worked on his off time and responded to all my calls and emails within minutes and never left me wondering. There were no tricks or harsh haggling during the deal and that's why I purchased one vehicle and leased another. When I came to pick up the vehicles, they completed all the paperwork in a timely manner and didn't pitch all the dealer profit additions like rustproofing, etc.. Overall it was a great experience.

I set up an appointment with Greg Webb and we talked about what I was in the market for, what features I was looking for, etc. I said I had my mind set on a new Jetta. When I came for my appointment the next day he had one set aside just for me to take for a test drive. I ended up really liking it and we sat down to see if we could find a price that was in my range, and Greg was very successful in doing so. I've been through this process with other dealers and they are usually "pushy" and not as flexible with their customer needs and preferences. However, this was not the case at Fairfield VW, as Greg and the VW team there were very friendly and made the experience a positive one. When I'm ready for another VW, I will definitely visit this location.

I bought a used car that seemed prefect. It was everything we wanted. We were assured by the manager that it had no mechanical issues. They even had in their garage telling us this and that it was being driven and had no issues. It may need a new battery because they were charging it. We could pick it up the next day and give them the 2000.00 for it. The following day 09/01/16 we picked it up all excited. Already planning to save money to come back in six months to trade it in for a suv. Less then twenty hours later 09/02/16 the car started pouring clouds of smoke out of it. We called the car lot and told them what was going on. The sales manager was rude and very mean. Not anything like the treatment we got the day before. We asked them to fix it or return our money. They did not want to do either. They did decide out of good faith to try to fix the fuel injector that was broke and the forgot to fix or mention to us at the purchase. They said it should be fixed by Tuesday 09/06/16. So here we sit without the 2000.00 we paid and no car. The thing that made it worse then anything is the way I was treated. Repeated asking the sales manager who was on speaker so my coworkers heard the conversation asking him to please stop being rude and to speak to me nicely and stop raising his voice. I was almost in tears but was never disrespectful to him. Others were able to hear the way they treat their customers. The only thing that was good in all of this is working with Nan. He was amazing friendly and kind. If you are at a last choice and have to go there go to Nan.

My experience at Farifield VW service was awful. I brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance (20K miles). I confirmed that this would take 1 hour. The person told me it would take less than 1 hour when scheduling. It took over 2 hours, which was a great inconvenience. The cost of the service was $340, which is astronomical considering they did nothing more than change the oil and check vitals. $200 of this price was labor, which reeks of price gouging. On the way home, the "low tire" pressure light came on, leading me to believe they didn't actually fill my tires. The service staff is rude--this is my third time at Farifield VW service. They have *always* been rude. I would never recommend anyone buy a vehicle from Fairfield VW or *EVER* use their service department. Shameful.

I arrived for my first service and was greeted by Greg Webb - my salesman- even though this was a service call. Greg was helpful at purchase demonstrating features as today's cars have more technology than my old car. The service went smoothly as well. I went with the Passat because of the milage, performance and great interior space. I am beginning to regret going with a lease and may just purchase outright instead of waiting 3 years on that decision. The car is quick, efficient and a great ride on the highway. The price is still several thousand less than a comparable Accord or Camry.

When he found out I wouldn't be purchasing the extended warranty his attitude totally changed! Actually he became short and somewhat rude. I had an issue with my Jetta, it wasn't shifting and acting very oddly. I called and they had me in the next day and out in a rental within minutes. Seeing as it was a transmission issue I expected to have to wait a while for it to be fixed but they had it done within 24 hours. It was exceptionally fast, the people who helped me were very nice and because I bought a certified pre owned the couple hundred dollar issue only cost me a fraction of that with labor included. I would most definitely recommend Fairfield Volkswagen for anyone looking for expert techs to repair their vehicles quick and correctly.

I have made three purchases and experienced services afterward from this dealership since 2012. This is the best dealership ever in my opinion. First of all, all the people I encountered, from the salespeople, services people, to people who do documents and bills, are all very pleasant to be working with. I felt I was treated with ultimate respect, that they made me feel very comfortable. Sale negotiation is straight forward and quick. Reasonable offer is matched and trade-in is handled pretty much by the book. Salesperson went the extra miles to please me on the preferable equipped one. The facility is very clean and comfortable. Service people are trying to help you over the phone as much as they can. At the dealership, they will try to save you money, rather than trying to rip you off. At one time, a service person fixed some minor scratches free of charge on my scheduled annual maintenance. I enjoyed working with Ryan on purchasing my VW Beetle convertible. He explain everything clearly and assisted me on computer as I needed to "unlock" my credit in order to do an application. The process was quick and before I knew it I was in and out with my new car. So far everything is fine. I love my new car and hope to have it a very long time. I hope the shop is just as attentive!

My original dealer was Northgate-I was told my new dealer would be Northland VW. Went there for two consecutive leases and neither were happy experiences. Two years ago, after what I thought was a minor issue with some ice, I went to the dealer and was TOTALLY blown off. After a couple of months, I sought help from Fairfields VW and it turned out to be a MAJOR problem. The people I dealt with in the service dept. we're fabulous and my car got fixed.I decided to lease from Fairfield and for the most part I am thrilled.

VW neglected to pay off my trade-in for 10 days and, when they did so, failed to pay the full amount (10 days of per diem). I received a notice from the trade-in's creditor and had to pay the per diem myself. I alerted Fairfield's Lee Lipsky (sp?) of the issue and he said he would immediately update the business manager. Lipsky added that someone would call me back in "10 minutes." Six hours later I called Fairfield and was told that neither Lipsky or the business manager were available - could I leave a message? Enough/lesson learned.

I bought a used car last week from Fairfield VW. 2 days later i had an electrical problem with my dash panel. I called service and spoke to Guy. He was very helpful and we set up a time to get my car looked at. They got my car in promptly and corrected the issue. A car problem is noever a good thing, but they made it as smooth as possible.

2 months ago I went to Honda to look at a car. I was test driving the car and really liked it. My son said to me "mom, let's just go see what Volkswagen has", so I test drove that car right to Fairfield Volkswagen. Jake Hillard met us outside and asked if he could help us. I told him that I was test driving this car and I thought I was gonna buy it but wanted to see what he had to offer. He showed me a few cars. I made an appointment to come back the next day. The next day I showed up to test drive some cars, still convinced that I was buying that Honda. Jake immediately put me in a car that I automatically fell in love with. I then told him what Honda was offering me, which was a pretty sweet deal. He asked me to hold on a min and came back matching that deal plus a little more and offering me this car that was the same price but had so many more options. I was sold.Fast forward 2 months.......someone who was driving carelessly pulled out in front of me and I ended up totalling my brand new car. I was just devastated. Thankfully due to the awesome airbags though, my daughter and I had minimal injuries. I walked into Fairfield Volkswagen a few days later and went looking for Jake. I told him what happened. To make a long story short, the insurance company ended up screwing me over and I was not able to recoup my down payment. I was stuck with nothing down and having to get a new loan. Jake and the team made this happen with the same terms. Now comes the awesome part.......my car was kind of a special edition with special features that I could no longer do without. Unfortunately a car like this is rare. I knew I wouldn't be satisfied with anything less, so Jake and the team started searching tirelessly. After some time they were able to locate the vehicle in Louisville ky. Jake and a driver drove to Louisville to get the car. Jake drove it back personally. The car is a different color, but I love it just the same and maybe more. I cannot thank these guys enough, especially Jake for all of their hard work and dedication to making sure this customer got what she wanted and needed. I couldn't be happier with them and my new car!

My car began having some issues and decided to take it in when it died as soon as I changed the gear to drive. I figured it had to be the battery but decided to take my car to Volkswagen Fairfield, where I purchased my car. I worked with Stacey and Josh in the service department and immediately trusted them. I got nervous when Stacey told me that it had to be something wrong with the engine... She had the service team look at my car while she looked to see what warranties I had with my vehicle- which I didn't even think I had a warranty! If I had taken my care to anyone else I wouldn't have known I had a warranty on my car! She went over and above taking care of me and making sure I got the best deal possible. On what happened to be a huge engine job that would have cost me about $2,000, I paid $118 total because of my powertrain warranty. Stacey went over and above looking into what I had purchased with my vehicle a year ago. I am so happy I took my car to them and will definitely use them with all of my future car repairs.

When the check engine light showed up on my control panel on Sunday, I knew I had to take my 2013 Passat TDI SEL to the dealership.. I left the car and realized this job would have to be worked into the schedule. By late Monday afternoon, my car was ready, however, I was unable to pick it up before the dealership closed. I picked it up on Tuesday morning, then had Chad explain what had happened. A tank heater and pump for the AD BLUE diesel exhaust fluid had failed. I was charged $1748.19 for the repair on my LEASED Passat and was told the warranty for the parts expired at 30,000 miles. I am upset that I had to pay for a repair on the same diesel exhaust system for which VW has been exposed as having lied regarding its emissions. I have been a happy customer until now. This may be my last VW.

My experience at Fairfield Volkswagen was tremendous. The sales person with whom I dealt was knowledgeable and honest regarding all aspects of the products and processes of the dealership. Each of the other team members reacted quickly and fairly. I would not have bought a car that day had John Rezke not been involved. I ended up getting a different car from that which originated the visit. I felt completely satisfied in all aspects of the transaction.

I Had the whole engine replaced on this car back in December after purchasing in September. Shop said it came with a one year warranty on parts and labor. Then converter broke in January right at the engine. Then it started miss firing last month in May. Took the Passat in and they thought it was an transmission valve leak so they replaced it. Turned out it wasn't. Then they said it was a spark plug issue. I asked if that was covered under the warranty since it is a part with the engine. They said no its matinance. So in short I bought this car for $7k and haven't had it even a year and have put $5k in it!! I originally bought this car because I assumed a VW dealer wouldn't sell me a car with tons of issues. It's an 07 with 105k miles on it. Not even 10 years old. I did decline the extended warranty since it was another $2k. But I never imagined a car having this many issues in not even a year. I'm very dissappionted VW couldn't of helped me out and am hoping this is not normal for a vehicle they sell.

Everything went well. The service people fixed my problem to where I do get free oil changes which the salesman agreed to give me. Even put washer fluid in my car. I do wish the car wash was a little bit better and wish vw offered free car washes or deals for the drivers since I want to keep my car nice.

Our car is a 16 year old Jetta with 68K miles on it. Since I have been bringing it to Fairfield VW for service they have fixed all the problems that had developed and it now runs like new. They have great mechanics (William Kurtz) and very helpful service personnel (Chris Simpson) plus things got done quickly. I certainly recommend them for your VW.

I recently bought a used PT cruiser from Fairfield VW. The car was in great condition and at a fair price. My sales person was Landon Haft. He was really friendly and attentive, he was quick to email me back and to set up a test drive. He even checked back with me after I bought the car. And when I started to hear a small noise while driving the PT, he was quick to set a time for me to bring it in to the service station. I brought it in mid morning and they were able fix it by mid afternoon.

Recently had a very flat, beyond hope flat tire, so I arrived unannounced for help. Within 40 minutes, my car was ready to roll again. Later that day, I returned because I had received a monitoring device to install from AllState. I had no clue how to find the port into which it was to be inserted. The service did not find any issue with the car other than less than full charge on the battery. replaced the battery and had the same issue the next morning with cold start. Took the car back that day, service could not duplicate the issue. I was charged $123.00 for unsuccessful trouble shooting. Service member Chad helped me and explained why a good battery with a low charge could cause the issue and may not be the recent 2306 update. He refunded the service charge and assured me if the issue continues to bring it back for further troubleshooting. Thanks to Chad I still consider VW Fairfield a solid dealership.

Car ran bad and had an oil leak. Vacuum pump is the cause for the leak. Leak was minor irritant but not a problem. Two items listed as cause for performance issue. Mass air sensor and speed sensor. The diagnosis did not list code for speed sensor, probably because there was no code. Ticket reads replace speed sensor because oil leaked on wiring. My original thought was the oil leak was caused by rear seal. If the rear seal was the leak then the sensor could have been covered with oil and would have needed replacing or cleaning. I told service writer about a device on Mass air sensor harness that could have interfered with computer. Your ticket showed a fault with mass air sensor. The problem turned out to be a broken wire caused by connector on the mass air sensor harness so the code was correct but neither the mechanic or service writer looked for root cause. Replacing both sensors would not have fixed the problem. The call from your sales department to give you my car to avoid the $3000 repair bill was underhanded. The real cost to fix the leak and correct performance problem was under $200. The service writer, in order to make the repair sale said two lies. The oil leak on the pump would cause the brake system to fail and the brake pads were at 1mm and needed immediate attention. The brake system comment was ridiculous and your service ticket indicated the brakes pads had 3 mm of thickness left, almost half.I understand that you are in business to make money but you are also supposed to be the expert on this car. I give you kudos for pointing me from the rear seal to the vacuum pump. I don't understand why you didn't recommend a new harness instead of the mass air sensor. I soldered the wire and the problem is solved. Replacing the harness would also have solved the problem.

He went over every feature of the car without leaving me feeling like I needed to go home and review the user manual. I had a very satisfactory experience with my sales person Ryan Shoemaker. He kept in frequent contact with me and was able to work within my budget so that I could get the car that I wanted. Everything went well until the end. When I went in to sign the final papers I found myself with a somewhat pushy closer who presented me with four rather costly warranty choices. I wondered how many people fell for his question, "which one do you want" rather than "do you want one of these." When I told him I didn't want any he immediately challenged me with "May I ask why not?" I told him it wasn't in my budget. He then put on the pressure by asking me if I wanted the coverage at a lower price. After the third time telling him none of them were in my budget he was noticeably miffed and then absolutely rushed through the final signing of the papers. Other than that, however, I would certainly recommend this dealership. Look for Ryan.

But when I got to my car, I noticed some fresh dings in the passenger driver side door. I know my car isn't new, but I really don't appreciate it being dinged up in the shop....Would I recommend the shop, not sure. Will I be back? Only since you are the closest VW shop to my house....If I had other options, no.

Took car in for service and to see why the trim molding over door is delaminating, the only one on whole car. After accusing a car wash they admitted that it's a problem on the Passat and had seen a lot of it but won't warrant it even though it's covered, they then advise me to call VW customer care. So after trying to contact service manager for a day I have done what they advised and VW is very interested in this as it is covered under warranty and Fairfield should have addressed the problem instead of blowing me off! Not happy at all with Fairfield, if you want my business now and in future you should act accordingly, I bought my car from Fairfield not VW Inc. Standing behind your product and resolving any issues instead of pushing customers away is how you grow a healthy relationship and loyal followers, VW already has an image problem and this surely don't help that.

Very pushy dealership. They told me and my wife if we went to lunch to think over the deal before deciding the price we worked out may not be on the table when we got back (aka they remove all pricing we agreed upon and we'd have to re negotiate . Then the salesman called / text us over and over begging for a down payment over the phone. As we pulled back up to the dealer a few days later to sign the papers the salesmen ran over to our car and stared at us through the windshield until we got out. Then the finance manager harassed us over and over to purchase extended warranties. The disappointments go on and on. Lucky for them I love my wife very much and new she really wanted this car. Very bad experience...will never go back. They also owe me a couple hundred dollars for overpayment on the trade. I'd love to see if I ever get that back!

I came into the dealer to look at a preowned Volkswagen Beetle for my daughter, who is a first time driver. Max Edde was the salesmen helping me and it was a pleasant experience. I secured a Friday afternoon appointment online with my diagnostic issues explained . When I got there, I was told no one that is there that day or Saturday can diagnose my issue. I would have to bring the car back Monday morning; total waste of time. Brought my car back Monday and sat there for 2.5 hours for them to determine the wire that conducts my washer fluid was disconnected. Once they found the problem, they took maybe 5 minutes to reconnect it and then charged me $49 for it. I found my time and the cost to be more than necessary for such a small problem.

We had some recall work done on our 2012 CC for a clockspring cover to be installed and after the work was done we now have a HUGE scuff mark on the top of the sterring wheel. NOT HAPPY. Even thought the work was done for free I was shocked at how much the shop charges per hour for work $110 per hour is just stupid. Our next car will not be a VW for sure.

Other than not knowing that I had an appointment I was very satisfied with the time and cost of my 90,000 check up. I scheduled an appointment online for 10:00 am on Monday. When I pulled in and arrived at the check in desk they did not have me down for an appointment but said they could get me in and out in about an hour hour and a half. Why do you recommend making appointments online if you don't check them or know about the ones that are already scheduling that way?

Overall, I had a good experience when leasing another vehicle from the Fairfield Volkswagen dealer. This would be my 3rd lease from them & they are good to loyal customers. The negotiating process was stress free & the sales associates are very nice & polite. My only problem was when I first went in I got a new sales associate who made a few mistakes but the sales manager & the 2nd & more experienced sales associate fixed those mistakes. Still a little mad that I was told my car took regular fuel only to find out after purchasing the car it actually took premium fuel b/c it was turbocharged. They have offered to do the strike force interior protection service for free to make up for the misunderstanding, which I appreciate. I like that they acknowledged that a mistake was made & offered to fix it.

When I arrived at Fairfield Volkswagen, I was immediately greeted warmly. I was due for my 30,00 mile checkup. The tech listened to my concern about the tire pressure symbol still on the speedometer (I had the tires checked earlier) and showed me how to reset it. We did the paperwork and I left for the waiting room. Comfortable! When the car was ready, I was given a brief summary and I was very happy that all was fine with my Jetta and I was ready to go, Everyone I dealt with was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. Front brake pads and rotors unexpectedly needed replacement only 750 miles after 60K mile service was just performed. Brake pad thickness was incorrectly measured during 60K service visit necessitating a return visit only a few weeks later. All work completed quickly and professionally. Will return to dealership again at 70K service interval.

The actual service was a simple oil change. FVW did that routinely.However, I was told at the service bay that my diesel gift cards could not be certified because of computer failure .Therefore, I would have to pay directly for my service,.which I did.Its bad enough that VW has to make this offer, but worse when they can't carry through on their solution. I went to another VW dealer for certification of my cards and was in/out in 5 minutes.

I took it home and showed my husband ... and we had new tires put on that afternoon. Had they not inspected my tires, I wouldn't have known about the split in my tire ... so Thank You.

We have experienced "road noise" with our newly purchased car (former leased car). After a month or so, the noise seemed to get louder. We began to worry that it was not just "road noise" and that it might be a problem with the car itself, possibly with the bearing or trans-axle. Our service manager, Guy, calmed our fears by relating that the noise WAS NOT related to the metal parts in the car. It is related to the tires.We are extremely happy that the noise is not coming from the bearing or trans-axle. While it didn't make the noise go away (new tires are needed), Guy Marino relayed the info in a manner that helped us understand the problem and gave us options. I had a 30,000 mile service done, which I expected would take hours. When I checked in I was told that it would take approximately an hour and fifteen minutes. In reality it took just under an hour, and that includes the time it was being washed.Since the entire cost of this service was covered by VW, the price was definitely right. That was a pleasant surprise since I know that service interval typically isn't cheap.

Okay, so a few days ago I had the opportunity to buy a ford fusion 2013 SE from this dealership. I put the deposit on the car, and after meeting with my financial advisor it was a bit more than I originally thought. I called them to see if they would come down in price a bit. They did try to work with me but they were trying to be patient, but I could tell they were frustrated. Turns out it was a miss-calculation on our part. I didn't need them to come down in price or anything, but finally when I drove there I bought the car. However some of the guys there demeanor change. My wife made the comment of one of the guys being rude, and here's the kicker, Mike said "we don't fill up the gas tank on used cars". He left us on Empty! Moral of the story: they have good prices and appear to be friendly, but if they have to go the extra mile they won't be too happy about it. Joshua was awesome though. They all remained patient for the most part, but I felt like I was a bother more than anything else.

When I went to pay my bill the credit card machine somehow charged my account 9x $140 ?? When my bill was 140dollars. When I called her when I got home and told her what had happened, not only did help me solve the problem she personally called my credit card company to tell them what had happened. That is customer service over the top for me. I will be returning to Fairfield VW for all my needs!!!?

Landon was familiar with the cars and policies, which I appreciated and was able to offer me another option when the initial car option was to expensive. However, there was very little negotiation room and took advantage of the age/experience of the driver purchasing the vehicle, which I felt created an unnecessary barrier. Furthermore, comments made by Landon throughout the transaction were passive aggressive, which were not appreciated and did not help with the process.

I am not going to list specifics (names and so on) despite swearing I would not under any circumstances buy any vehicle there again, I do not wish anyone to be fired. I bought a used car "as is". Two weeks later my family was stranded on a trip and I was told it needed coil packs spark plugs and wires. $1000. I raised a stink and sales offered to pay labor if I bought the parts $500. So I did that. I picked the car up drove home and 10 miles into it check engine light is on. I take it back and ask them to check it out and I get bad news. The valve(s) are burnt and it will be $5000 for a rebuild on the upper end or 4500 for a complete used engine with a 12/12 warranty. I paid $12000 and it needs a $5000 repair?!? Less than a month after I bought it? Well I signed the contract "as is" and lemon laws do not apply to used cars. Ok shame on me I signed it as is. So I figured maybe I could roll the loan over into a newer vehicle. This is when things got REALLY shady. I was having trouble securing financing for a loan with so much negative equity. They offered nothing on trade-in. I was told "well you don't want a vehicle with a bad engine neither do we--we would have to fix it". So my 12000 dollar vehicle was worth nothing?!? I could see offering me 5-7 thousand for it:.. But next to nothing? Bull. Salesman (same who sold me the blasted thing) suggested secondary financing--lenders who would be happy with negative equity and an extremely high interest rate. I said maybe as a last resort he asked if he could start the paperwork I said sure. I was waiting for bank to call me back and my wife to show up. She did and we discussed it and decided NOT to pursue secondary financing until we had a definate yes or no from the bank. He ignored this and became somewhat aggressive. I repeated asked for the vin number when I got the bank on the phone. He ignored me, then told me after he was done (with app), flat out refused me and then told me it was on the service managers desk and said he couldn't be disturbed--the bank waited over 10 minutes and I was terribly embarrassed I asked if I could call them back. My wife and I called a time out so we could discuss this. He walked off. Didn't say anything just walked off like I wasn't there. He was gone like 10 minutes and came back very agitated and said he wanted to talk to me "adult to adult" and said I agreed to the secondary lender. I stopped him and denied this. He held up his finger and said excuse me please do not interrupt me. (What the xxxx?!?) My wife allowed him to finish his argument and when he was finished l, she asked politely to speak and started screaming at him for selling us a jacked up vehicle to begin with. He walked away again. My wife left and I went back to see if anything could be salvaged from this debacle. The saleman met me as I came in and told me I needed to deal with his manager because he could not help me. I sat down the sales manager approached and asked if he could help me. I stood up shook his hand introduced myself and I stated I wanted to buy a car. Was this indeed a place that sells cars?!? I wanted to buy a car could he said please sell me a friggin car. "Sir how may I HELP you?" I said it slowly and carefully as I had not lost my brains yet (temper) but I was getting there. I just need the VIN so I can get a yes or no from my bank. He turns to the salesman. "Give it to him" and the man pulled the paperwork out of his back pocket. (Are you kidding me?!?). I got my answer (no) and I took pictures of the paperwork. I noticed the secondary financing was for a different and cheaper vehicle. He mentioned that early and I expressly rejected that one. So on top of all the shenanigans, he was going to bait and switch me too? That was it I was done I went home. Four days later he called me up and asked if we were still gonna do the deal. I laughed at him and told him he had to be a xxxx of an optimist or possibly looney if he really believed it was going to happen after the huge scene my wife caused. He was like well you know just trying to make a living. In hindsight... I believe someone knew the vehicle was messed up before they sold it to me. Trust has gone far beyond broken. I have no way to prove it. Considering the passive aggressive duplicity I experienced in person there is no doubt in my mind that they knew. I will never buy another car there again (I had purchased several over the years) and as much as I love Volkswagens, this has probably soured me on the brand as well. Had a pretty poor sales experience buying my '15 GTI from them, I won't go into detail but it was less that professional experience however not worthy of 1 star. My 1 star review goes to the service department. I leased a brand new car from them and it's been to the shop for warranty repairs 4 times now within the first 8 months of ownership. Each time its there I have to argue with the service tech to fix stuff on my car. I knew my car had a loose motor mount, I took the car in, told them this, they told me they'd fix it and then proceeded to argue with me for 2 days about it before finally realizing I was right and fixing it.Most recently I took my car in to get two small interior issues fixed. I had a broken piece in my center console (manufacturing defect) and the driver's seat squeaked for some reason. It took them almost 2 full weeks to fix this. after 10 days in the shop I sent an (angry) email to the service manager that explained how frustrated I was and they magically got the car fixed the next day. When I got my car back finally after two weeks it was down a quarter tank of gas, was covered in bird poop and berries from some tree they parked it under and smelled on the inside. The car was freshly detailed the weekend before I dropped it off.I will never take my car back for anything and I would advise you to do the same.

I was looking for a 2-door gti with automatic.i found one at fairfield and asked them about it via the internet. i live about 40 miles from the dealership. Landon Haft answered all my questions (about 12 emails) and frankly he is the reason i purchased a car from fairfield vw. when i went to the dealership Mike Rickard offerred me a decent price without an extended negogiation. the dealership obtained my car from cleveland (without a charge) and i was driving the car in two days. there was a slight issue with a wheel which they arranged for me to have taken care of closer to home. the repair was well done. my experience was positive and considering i have been driving gti's since 1986, i am pleased with my interaction with fairfield. thanks to both Landon and Mike

My daughter her 2015 Passat in for it's for service. A oil change and tire rotation was performed. She then drove the car home and then to college for a total of 30 miles and her check engine light came on. Her dad checked the oil and it was two quarts low on oil.

Arrived at VW dealership with a knot on the left front tire due to pot hole. My VW was taken right in and the warrenty tire was replaced very quickly. Very fast didn't know the break fluid had to be changed at the 30,000 mile oil change and I was told when I arrived for my apt that no one was available to take care of that - so why make an apt? Then th eclerk came back and changed what he had told me nd was very apologetic - I was relieved as I had to drive 45 mins to get there for the appt. I was told my car would be swept out, they washed it but never sweeps it out. But over all - I'm pleased with the service I had received.

That was respectively Mr. Josh Cole and Mr. John Reszke, Yes a challenging environment right now with the Diesel issues, but that makes this a good time to consider VW gasoline models. Fairfield VW demonstrates exceptional quality in a number of ways not typical of other dealers: the staff, the focus on VW vehicles only which in fact remain better quality than so many other choices out there, the number of vehicles to chose among, etc.

Our 2010 VW Jetta wouldn't start without being jumped. The battery had been tested and it checked out fine. So, we brought it in for diagnostic testing. Chas was extremely helpful, courteous, professional and went out of his way to make us feel valued. He also provided a courtesy car while ours was being serviced. Guy did everything he could to keep the cost down when it was only a bad battery.

I found a vehicle my daughter was interested in. Nathan was available the following evening for her to test drive so I accompanied her to the dealership. We agreed we would be back the following day to likely finalize the sale and bring in our Trade for inspection and offer. Nathan asked us to wait, we weren't sure why, and then we were approached by Lee (Nathan's manager) asking how he could assist us. We had no questions for Lee, and were unsure why he even approached us. Lee was unpleasant, and seemed irritated we were not taking the car that evening. The following morning, we had our financing option already in place and just needed some paperwork faxed to the Bank to proceed. I texted Nathan to fax over the offer, and we were on our way to the dealership. I called then, to confirm he had the correct contact information to send the paperwork, and he then transferred my call to John Petrey, who then wanted to discuss financing. We were not interested in discussing financing, we already had financing taken care of, to please just fax the information to the Bank we asked. We arrived at the Dealership, and the paperwork had still NOT been sent. It was becoming clear they were going to push financing with them. In the mean time, Kyle inspected our trade in, and came with the offer, to which we were fine with. When he paperwork was finally sent to the bank, after three requests, and the bank sent the approval letter, we then sat down with Josh to finalize. Josh still did not want to accept the fact that we were not financing thru the dealer, and urged us again not to use our own financing. He outwardly said quote "why don't you want to save money" and when time to sign paperwork, still was outspoken about "why" when we declined the extra warranty. I was so stunned by his outward questions, regarding our personal decisions we had made, I couldn't even respond, but am now enraged. To top it off, when we started to depart in the new vehicle, I asked if they could fill up the gas tank to which the answer was flat NO. We were at this dealership a total of three hours to purchase a vehicle that the salesperson KNEW we were coming back to purchase, knew WHEN we were coming back for it, and knew it was empty on gas. Every single staff member we spoke with, with the exception of Nathan and the Cashier, had a condescending attitude. If we had not wanted this particular vehicle, we would have left and never returned. if you'd like to discuss this further, you can reach me at 513.919.7404. My husband had been searching for a few weeks for a new lease vehicle for me. Having experienced problems with pushy sales people in the past at other dealerships, I left it to him to find me a car. After visiting several other dealers he landed on Fairfield Volkswagen. He had test driven a VW at another dealership with less than stellar service, so he called Landen Haft at Fairfield and explained what he wanted and that I would be over to take a test drive. He told him that if I liked the car that he would be over the next day to work out the sale. I drove the car, liked it, and received no pressure whatsoever. The next day my husband went there, worked out the details, we received a great price, and when I arrived that evening all of the paperwork was there waiting for me to sign. After the deal was complete, Landen took plenty of time to explain all of the vehicle features and answer any questions. Great experience, we'll be back!

My Beetle had developed a whine whenever I touched or turned the steering wheel. I finally called and spoke with someone in the VW service department and he patiently listened to me and told me to bring the car on over so it could be checked out. The service advisor's suspicion that the power steering fluid was low turned out to be true. He also had all the other fluid levels and systems checked and I wasn't charged for the inspection! When I left, I felt confident that my Beetle was in safe running order. Thanks for a great service experience! It helped a lot that the service advisor, Josh, was so pleasant too :)

The experience was awful and took entirely too long. They pushed me into using their dealership loan department instead of a bank I trusted. After they pushed me into using their loan department, they lied about how much of a down payment I could put down. They also lied and said I could transfer my old plates to my new car and didn't. They said they would detail my new car. Apparently "detailing" means half hearted vacuuming and putting a paper mat down because after they were done there were still sticky and greasy spots on the seats from the previous owners as well as food crumbs in the seats. I left feeling lied to, disrespected, and utterly disappointed.

The reason I had to lease a car was because my car that was "paid off", broke down, and cost more than I wanted to pay to have it repaired. That is why my title has the word "bitter". I was hoping to enjoy not having a car payment for awhile longer. The employees at Fairfield Volkswagen helped brighten my spirits by making the whole process easy. They were sympathetic, yet excited for me that I could have a new car with no worries of repairs. I was especially impressed with Rayn Shoemaker, my Salesperson. He was so helpful. I had never leased a car before and he helped me understand the benefits. I liked the idea of not having to worry about my car breaking down, after what I had gone thorugh with my car. Also, Guy, in Service was very good explaining what had happened to my car, and made me feel like I was in good hands from the moment I walked in the door. All and all it was an good experience.

Only owned vehicle 1 month:1. Called sales person, Kim, to schedule my purchased detail cleaning. Also wanted sliding door fixed. Was told she quit (wonder why)2. Left 2 messages for sales manager, Kyle which were never returned. 3. Finally asked for a manager that wasn't Kyle and got John, I think, who was very nice and sent me to Chad in service.4. Chad made an appt to have both looked at and then went on vacation5. Guy was the go to guy of several conversations as to why my vehicle hadn't even been looked at for 10 days. 6. He finally had the service guys "fix" the door and I said ok just making sure it's been cleaned (the original reason for coming back to vw). "I haveno record that you needed a cleaning. Oh here it is. Shoot we should've done that while waiting for your door part."7. Had it all done with out a charge to me which I appreciate.8. Irony...DOOR STILL DOESNT WORK!!!

Everything was taken care of and performed in a professional and timely manner. My car was washed but whoever did it didn't rinse it or dry it off at all so the car is covered in water spots and looked worse than when I dropped it off. Annoying but not a big deal. I also noticed a scratch that I thought wasn't there before but I was told that it was. I had already picked the car up and brought it home by the time I noticed it so I can't blame them for not doing anything about it.

This is a very big deal to me when choosing a team to work on my baby (2015 Passat). Service and hospitality are different service get you there hospitality keeps you coming back. I scheduled online my 30,000 mile oil change and added a complete detail, and a recall. When I got there, I was told they didn't have anyone to do the detail work and they didn't have the parts for the recall, so I just got the oil change and they washed my car. Even though this happened, I'm still very happy with Fairfield VW!

My husband and I enjoyed our shopping experience with our salesman George Crawford as well as his sales manager Jonathan Petrey. They listened to our needs and allowed us to drive a couple of different cars. We told them we needed to think about the offer. They suggested we take the car home and drive it. We drove the car and did alittle research and decided to make our offer. We are pleased with our purchase.

The dealership experience was wonderful. We were online browsing through vehicles and came upon a few vehicles from Fairfield VW from a generic search. It was late on Saturday so we visited the Fairfield VW website where we happened upon their online chat. I stated our interest in a few vehicles and wondered if they were open on Sunday of Labor Day weekend - which they were. The delightful lady then asked for my information and promised that someone would be contacting me previous to their opening the following day. Sunday morning, I received a phone call from Landon ensuring that those vehicles were available but he could not be there but gave me a contact to talk to. We were promptly greeted by Nathan who showed us the vehicles we wanted to test-drive - I believe we ended up test driving four vehicles (1 CC and 3 Passats). Nathan was a pleasure to deal with and was knowledgeable about the cars. After changing our minds on which trim/engine to purchase we settled on a low-mileage CPO 2013 VW Passat SE. After further inspection, there were some cosmetic items with the paint which the sales manager promptly asked the service personnel and confirmed that it could be taken care of in a future visit. The finance manager also offered to try and match my personal bank financing. They not only matched it but were able to offer a lower interest rate. This dealership experience was the best I have had so far - hopefully the service experience will be as wonderful. Prior to contacting Fairfield VW, we were at Midwestern Auto Group (MAG) in Columbus (where we are from) where we had just missed their closing. A salesman was walking towards me and I had to ask if they were open. I was told that they closed at 6 and will be back on Tuesday. I never got his name or was asked the reason for the visit.

They diagnosed my car and then came to me and explained what needed to be done before they did anything. They fixed the trunk light by replacing my trunk latch and then advised that the entire back window would have to be replaced. They also explained that there was no reason for this to have happened since the car has not been wrecked and they checked for leakage and there was none, so they are talking to VW about it to see if they can replace it free of charge or if VW will assist me with this replacement in some other way. They were very knowledgeable and kept me informed the entire time I was there.

We came in without an appointment to get the engine cover under the car repaired. It had fallen down and was tied up to the hood. Josh was able to explain what had happened and how to best fix it so it would stay up. He took his time and was patient. This relieved me immensely as I had to take the day off from work to deal with it. It was fixed within an hour and a half at very little cost including an oil change. We are a 75-year-old couple, both retired professors, and really appreciate young people that don't treat the elderly like they are stupid! I love my 2004 Beatle and want it to last! and I think you ought to add Josh's name to the service list!!!

I was looking for a very specific, gently used VW convertible beetle, and the team at Fairfield Volkswagen - 581 miles from home - did a fabulous job in getting me in the exact car I wanted at a fair price. Jake was upfront and forthright about the car, the process and pricing, making sure there were no surprises after a long trip, and did a great job explaining features and options. They were even there waiting for me at Dayton's airport, 45 minutes away from the dealership. Terrific experience, and absolutely love the car!

I was able to set up an appt quickly, they had a loaner available, and they responded to the cars issues quickly and professionally. I picked up a piece of metal from the road and they were able to remove the metal without seriously hurting my car or pocket book. A stupid thing happened and they had reasonable solutions for my car issues. Thanks for making a crazy week a little less crazy.

I immediately noticed the difference with Fairfield VW staff being much more professional than the other dealerships. No pressure and very knowledgable of their products. They didn't have the specific model and color of the GTI I wanted. They didn't try to talk me into another one but instead said they would get it and wanted to make sure I got the car exactly as I wanted it. The purchase was quick and easy including the finance department. They also installed my splash guards while I was finishing up the paperwork. Highly recommend them to anyone in the area! Love my new GTI!!!

Fairfield VW got my Passat right in to investigate a possible clutch failure. They had the trans out the same day and found that the pressure plate had failed after only 36,500 miles. They were good to keep the car an extra day and check it out thoroughly before they returned it to me. Chad was very courteous and to the point on what the exact problem was, even took a picture of the failed pressure plate for me, which was important for this engineer that also does most of his own maintenance.

It worked out. Got to Fairfield VW at 11:30 on Monday with my 2010 Toureg for express service n was told they wouldn't be able to offer service for ie.oil change, windshield wiper blades and a tire rotation till the following mid week.I was told they were backed up because of a lightening strike the previous week. Finally, with talking back and forth with the original express rep- a young lady walked over to the counter and told the rep they could take me. So I was then told to come back at 3:30 and they were able to squeeze me in because again this was the only day I had to do this. So I had to make a trip back to Fairfield VW at 3:30 which it was an inconvenience yes but had no other choice. I was given 10% off which helped. But next time I guess for express service I'll call 1st just to make sure they can take me as a walk in.

Scheduling couldn't be easier via online app....service team member greets you promptly in the drive in service bays, provide estimated completing time and an update on progress, waiting area is comfortable & has good wifi connection that allows one to work while waiting. Overall, I had a great experience at Fairfield Volkswagen. I dropped my vehicle off to have it serviced for the trailer arm recall notice and for an issue related to the stereo. Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted by service staff, quickly processed and provided a loaner vehicle to use. The service department made the necessary repairs and had my vehicle back to me within 1 day. The level of customer service was excellent.

Max did a great job of showing me the cars that were available in the model I was looking for and then took considerable time making sure I understood all of the features on the car, answered my questions and had all the information that I needed. Lee, the manager took the time to discuss my purchase with me on the phone before I came in so Max knew what I was looking for and all the finance papers were ready to go, so the whole process went very smoothly.

We had great experience talking and test driving with George Crawford. He was always helpful and patient and answered questions straightforwardly. After we decided to buy the car from them, there was a little unpleasant time with their financial guy whose name is Josh I think. Josh seemed to be inpatient answering our questions and making things a little awkward when we dealing with the paperwork. Overall good experience and George has the credit.

No haggle is very true they will make the deal. Service was excellent all the way from the Sales manager to the Financial Manager. Fairfield Volkswagen you have a excellent sales person in Kimberlyn Stuckey precise and to the point and most of all she went out into a rain storm to pull out the car for me to test drive now that's excellent sales skills and customer service thanks!!!!!!!

I gave my experience an excellent rating because going into the dealership I was wanting to get a newer car, but had to keep my payments to a budget set forth by my wife. I had a 2004 Maxima to trade in and was treated very well. The salesman that handled the sale (Rick) did a great job with the assistants of the finance office in keeping the monthly payments right where I wanted it to be. I would recommend VW Fairfield to anybody needing to purchase a new or used car. The sales staff are helpful and not pushy. The dealership does a follow up phone call after the sale to see if you have any questions and to check to see if you are pleased with your purchase. Great people to buy from and a great atmosphere while shopping.

This is my third Tiguan. I have been extremely satisfied with my service at Fairfield VW. Although I know VW is making money off my lease I have always felt I have been treated fairly and I trust that I was given the best deal. Landon Haft has always dealt with me with a no pressure and made me feel comfortable and confident in all of my dealings with him. I never felt like he was trying to push the higher price product on me. I don't like to haggle at the dealership so I do most negotiations on line and through email. When I'm ready to come in he has the vehicles I want to look at ready. He was always open and honest and if he didn't have what package I was looking for he would find it and have it brought in.I have felt so good about my dealings with Landon and Fairfield VW I brought my daughter in for her 1st Jetta and now she is on her 2nd one herself. Service and body work have been very good to work with too.I will return for sure!

Very professional staff at the dealership! I would not hesitate to recommend others. The car buying process can be aggervating with all the smoke in mirrors and games some dealers play. Cars.com gives many tools to answer many questions like the payment calculater that is very valuable knowledge to have in hand when searching. Fairfield Volkswagon did not attempt to muddy the water and was verystraight forward with the numbers and that is rare believe it or not this day and time.

I was interested in a used 2010 Honda CRV with 25,000 miles. Made initial contact by phone as I live in Indianapolis. Got to the dealership on Saturday morning to look over the vehicle and take test drive. That's when the problems occurred. The vehicle drove absolutely horrible... once we got up to 50mph, the who car shook. The dealership had put on new Fuzion tires and something was wrong with the tires or the car or both. We returned to the dealership. The manager thought it might need alignment or balancing because the car had sat for so long. As a long-time Honda CRV owner, I know better. And, the odometer read 27,000 miles (not 25,000 as on cars.com). No one car racks up 2,000 miles in test drives. Something very odd about this vehicle.

I searched for a used Mini S near where we live and found the perfect one at Fairfield Volkswagon. I drove by the lot after hours and didn't see it. Wasn't meant to be, I guess. I looked again the next week and the car was still listed on cars.com, so I called about it. The salesman returned my call and said he needed to search their inventory. When he called back, the car I inquired about had been sold. I searched again today and the same car is still listed as being there. This car hasn't been there for over three weeks! It was a low milage vehicle at a great price, so I suspect it is there so they can generate interest on similar cars in their inventory that are not nearly as good. Very disapointing.

My sales representative was fine and very nice, but when it came time to talk numbers and the sales manager was around the service was aweful. There was ZERO communication, a price appeared in front of me and it was about $3000 out of the ballpark. I had proof from kelly blue book of what i was willing to pay and they just kept trying to take advantage of me in any way possible.

I want to thank Tony Blaine for the excellent customer service he has provided when our car was due for its regular maintenance during the first three years that we owned it. Bob's team has provided a loaner vehicle that was dropped off at our home, by Tony, while our car was being serviced. We received updates on the progress of the service and timing of when we could expect our car to be returned to our home. Today our car was returned and it had been completely detailed along with the routine warranty service. I want to thank Bob Huser and Tony Blaine for this outstanding service. We were looking for a VW Golf and had been dealing with multiple dealers to find the car we wanted. When the Fairfeld dealership found a car they asked for a deposit of $500.00 to bring the car in with the understanding that this was not a final purchase. When we went to the dealership and decided to not buy the car and proceed with a VW Golf at another dealership the sales person became quite rude, disrespectful,heavy handed and threatening. He called his sales manager out and he was equally unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, threatening and stating that they would not return our deposit. We were shocked at their unprofessional,disrespectful and unfriendly approach to potenial customers and we ended up walking off the sales lot. Two days later the manager of Fairfield called to see if there was anything they could do to rectify the deal. Personally we were shocked that they would think we would ever consider any business transaction with their dealership. I went into a detailed account of our exchange that day and assummed they would be returning our deposit after that conversation. We have talked with multiple dealerships and they all have stated that they do return deposits and they were sorry that this happened at a VW dealership. To date the Fairfield VW dealership has not returned our depsoit. We would never recommend this dealership to any business colleagues, friends or family members. The entire transaction felt uncomfortable, pressured and untrustworthy. Neither of us have ever had such a horrible business transaction. As we have been processing this event, multiple neighbors and work colleagues have told us of the uncomfortable feelings they had while "just looking at cars" on the Fairfiled lot and decided to take their business to another dealership, where they were treated with respect and not pressured. Maybe this is just the way Fairfiled VW operates it's business. We did not encouter this at the other three dealerships we visited.

They attempted to replace a timing belt on my 2001 vw Jetta and ended up breaking a few things and then forgetting to put stuff back. When confronted they returned the missing parts, however, 9 months later after a chronic oil leak from the front of my engine, I was just informed that NONE of the timing belt seals had been replaced!!! SPEND A FEW BUCKS MORE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, I WISH I HAD!!!

Bought a very low mileage used New Beetle from this dealer. After the car was paid for and shipped, our salesman called to tell us about a tear in the driver door panel. The General Sales Manager and service department were aware of this issue, but did not tell either us or, apparently, the salesman. When informed, the General Manager refused to do anything about the problem. I recommend you personally inspect any car these folks offer, as our experience was that you cannot reply on their description.

Purchased a used VW New Beetle from this dealer. After the car was paid for and shipped, dealer called to tell me about a crack in the driver side door panel. General Sales Manager, service department and others were aware of this flaw but did not disclose it. General manager didn't care at all when informed, refused to assist in the $400 repair. If buying long distance from this dealer, or over the internet, be very careful and insist on a complete set of detailed photos. They did not fairly describe the car to us.

The staff at Fairfield VW has been wonderful to work with. Maybe the staff has changed since the other reviewer? Mike Elsass (sales rep.)was truly a delight to work with. He made the deal smooth, fair, and FAST! I am used to spending hours at a dealership "haggling", but we spent the most time on the test drive! He went over the car options and features thoroughly, but Mike never once talked down to me or assumed that I didn't know about cars. Being female, I really appreciate that! The car I was after (Jetta sportwagon TDI) is in high demand and I still feel like I got a fair trade. I would highly recommend working with Fairfield VW and Mike Elsass.

Gave one price online, another price on the phone and another in person. Guess which price was the highest? Yep, in person after a long drive. My sister probably would have bought it if I wasn't there to step in. She was going to pay like $3000 over invoice.. what a rip off. The dealership is like a palace, beautiful! Just how do you think they built it? We shopped around a few dozen other stores, and we got the best treatment and price on colerain at northgate vw. We'll never go back to fairfield again , the owners should be ashamed.
