Used Cars for Sale at Fairway Ford in Burgaw, NC

Took my car in for a trans fluid flush. I called first and was told 'no problem' and was given an estimate for the work, When I took my car there I watched them from just outside the service bays. It seemed the guy working on it was moving very slow - stalling. After about an hour the service manager came out to tell me they 'didn't have the right fitting' to connect to my transmission. My car is a Ford so I find it hard to believe they didn't have the right fitting. He said they could change the fluid and the filter. He gave me the same estimate for cost so I agreed. After another hour they were done. When time came to pay the bill they charged me $50 over the estimate. Then acted like they were doing me a favor by not charging me for the first hour when they were stalling hoping I would give up on watching them. I feel certain if I had just waited in the waiting room like most people I would have been charged for a fluid flush with nothing done to my car. I wouldn't take my car there again if it was the last Ford dealership on earth.

Bought 2 used vehicles from Alex in the last year-2014 F150 XLT and 2014 Fusion SE. No pressure, easy to work with. Take them back for regular maintenance . Planning to visit them first when the next time comes

Chris is the best service guy I've ever met. Fairway Ford really does a good job explaining things. I always have my car serviced there, and actually just bought a set of Michelin tires from them last week. They always tell me exactly what in going on, and there are never any surprises. Truly great guys!

Alex Gregory sold me a Mustang of my dreams. He was very polite, courteous, and knew more than I expected, from a sales person. He got me the financing I wanted, at a great interest rate. He knew all the extras available for my car. I am very pleased with my new Mustang, and the way my purchase was handled. We have purchased many new vehicles, but I will say that Fairway Ford takes customer service very seriously. Our salesperson Tommy says he has been with them for over 30 years. There wasn't any pressure or anything. He answered all of our questions and we were all finished up in about an hour and a half. My wife and I couldn't believe it! We are very pleased with our Fusion, my wife likes the camera and the bluetooth system the best. We will certainly recommend Fairway Ford to anyone.

Great sales force will do anything in there power to get truck you want.Service is the best in town. Fairway Ford is the only place I buy & service my autos.

Worst experience would not return even if they paid me. My husband was going to buy me a mustang. Alex one of the sales members had enough nerve to tell my husband he could not buy a car for me because if the bank knew he bought a car and I was going to drive it. The bank would repo it and fairway would have to buy back. They also tried to charge an outragous interest rate and he has good credit. Since when does a bank care who is driving the car? As long as you pay the loan they don't care who drives it. We have insurance that's who cares who drives it not the bank. Apparently fairway has a problem with women driving there cars and do not need the sales. Talk about discrimination I feel very discrimated against being that I'm the women that would have drove it. Do not shop at fairway ford. I will be telling everyone not to shop there and I will never step foot on there lot again.

Alex M. Gregory was excellent in helping me find the vehicle I needed and wanted. He even had it brought to the lot for me. He seemed to genuinely care about trying to help me than just making a sell and that means a lot. Also the finance manager Keith Batson was excellent to work with, neither were pushy and let you make your own decisions and did not rush and were very explanatory if you had an questions. Over 40 years of marraige we have bought a few cars, this was by far the best experience we have had. The Highsmiths truly want to help you make the right decision and put you in the right car. We bought a used truck got a great price and a very clean ford 150. We didn't realize they were closing early that day, we showed up 50minutes before they did, but they stayed open till we were done! If you live near or even a 100 miles away and want a new car this dealership should be at the top of the list!! Thank-you Mr. Highsmith!!

I located the vehicle online but was four hours away from the dealership. I was able to make a deal by phone and have the vehicle delivered. I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about buying a vehicle that I hadnt seen other than online. When it arrived I was more than pleased. The vehicle exceeded my expectations on all levels. Alex was easy to work with and very helpful during the process. I will definitely do business with him again.
