Bruce was great as a salesman but everything we seen that we thought was wrong they couldn't find anything. The trans is making a noise to them nothing wrong the detailing owed to me because the seats have stains on them and it looked like the previous owner had pets in the truck but I was told it would get detailed (WRONG) they claimed they did we still complained about the stains but the supervisor covers up for the guy under him. Everytime we complain they keep telling us to bring it by so they can look at it. After 2-3 trips in there its obvious you dont know what your doing or you just dont care about your job. My time is valuable too. My family buys cars there but after showing them my truck I think they will be going else where. This was our 7th used vehicle bought there and the last. We will be taking the truck to a real detail shop and I will send you before and after pics of a real detail shop cleaning. Our salesman we bought it from was feeling bad about it too. After this experience I can see its all about selling not what the people thinks. I would like to thank Bruce Engle for his concerns

This was my first time car shopping and Roberto made it a very easy experience for me. I came in thinking I was going to buy a used car, so he showed me around the lot and provided honest advice on each vehicle. He definitely had my interests in mind and did not try to sway me towards a certain buy. He was very pleasant to talk with throughout the process and I ended up purchasing a 2016 Chevy Sonic for an incredible price. In addition to this, I had to purchase my own insurance plan and was having some trouble because of an accident I had been in quite recently. Robert assured me that this wouldn't be an issue and gave me the number of a company that graciously assisted me in that process. Overall, I think the people who work here are very kind and open to helping you in any way they can. You don't have to worry about them having alterior motives just so they can make the sale.

We had been searching for a vehicle to replace a 2012 Chevy Sonic. I was uncertain as to whether I wanted a brand new car or a late model used car. In several cases I saw cars on Cars.com that seemed like good deals only to find that the cars had been sold or the prices had changed. Then I spotted a 2015 Sonic with low mileage and really good price from your dealership. Since I am from Virginia was a little hesitant to go out of state, but I called to check and the car was available at the price quoted. Moreover, I could pay Virginia tax, so it was like staying in state. And the deal was even better than I expected! Frankly, I feel that I got a better than brand new car. I cannot say enough about how pleased I was with Jason Saville, your salesperson. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to the nth degree. And while I cannot recall the name of the woman who did the financing for us, I was also very impressed with her friendliness and professionalism. You have a great staff.

We switch cars every 2 to 3 years, and we've gone through 5 cars in the last 10 years and our experience at Fitzgerald Mazda in Frederick was the best. Jessica was friendly, professional and knows the features on the cars (cannot be said for a lot of other sales people out there). They were never pushy and we never felt pressured to make any decision. Also this is one of the fastest car buying process we have had. Went to test drive on Saturday, which took a about an hour. Left a deposit and came back on the following Tuesday to pick up the car. We spent more time on 270 driving from DC to Frederick than we spent at the dealership. The finance manager was very friendly and didn't push any extra add-ons (probably because this is a lease), and we were out of there in about an hour. And guess what, we ran into more traffic on 270 on the way back home... When we are ready to turn in this Mazda for another Mazda or VW, we will definitely be back to see Jessica at Fitzgerald's in Frederick.

We bought a Certified Used 2014 Silverado LTZ Crew Cab on March 24 2014 and our salesman was Jason Saville. He was great and friendly to work with. He always answered text messages and emails immediately. He was very busy but still kept up with us and our questions. We had our used vehicle appraised while we test drove the new one and when we got back it was ready and we started our purchase. He went above and beyond and Kevin also did amazing job making the numbers work and come together. In the finance department Brian Wallace did our paperwork. He was very pushy about warranties and coverage I didn't want and when I turned them down I was told I was making a huge mistake, almost as if he thought they were selling me a piece of junk.

We had a horrible experience trying to buy a new (used) vehicle. We had gone to at least 20 other dealerships before trying Fitzgerald. We had around a 10,000$ limit that we didn't want to exceed. At all the other dealerships, they looked down on us. We didn't have enough for them. We told them everything we wanted in a vehicle, and they kept trying to sell us thing they just wanted to get rid of. We had almost given up hope on dealerships in general. As soon as we walked into Fitzgerald, mark Lawson greater us with a smile. He treated us with respect and really listened to what we wanted in our purchase. He found us the perfect jeep commander, and we couldn't be happier. He kept up his pleasant attitude the entire day. Mark found us exactly what we wanted and it was even UNDER our budget. I would recommend this dealership, (and mark) to anyone looking for a fantastic car buying experience.

I had researched the car in question and told him I had very little time with which to work, he came in early to meet me and took care of everything. Kimberly Swann and Seth Dawson are both efficient, courteous and knowledgeable. What I especially like about the Fitzgerald in Frederick is that while they inform me of potentially needed maintenance on my vehicles, I am not left with the feeling that I am being forced to do anything. Customer service was very poor, nice friendly people, but pretty useless otherwise. On the spur of the moment I tried to surprise my wife with a new car while she was out of town. My fault that I did not have some of the items the required like the registration since I cleaned in out in a hurry. So day one (Friday) I spent running around getting everything they requested. Day 2 (Saturday) I came back with everything and paid for the car, but they did not have the navigation SD card. Disappointed that the car was ready but I took possession and scheduled to return on Wednesday to have the card installed. I showed up on Wednesday as scheduled but the SD card was not there or they could not find it (depending on who I talked too). They never called to cancel the appointment so I drove the 80 miles there and back again. 3 trips so far, still missing navigation. So I rescheduled for Saturday. So finally after 320 miles and many hours I finally got the car but on the last trip to the dealership I picked up a screw in the front tire. I asked them if they could help out (contribute half of the cost) with the $304.00 bill I got to replace the tire since I got it making a 4th trip to dealership. I thought got it driving there, plus all my time, gas, etc. making 4 trips they would at least consider putting up the $150.00. Their response was we are not in the business of giving away tires. So I followed up with a brief email stating my disappointment to the Customer Relations Manager, a week has passed with no response from her. Maybe I will get one response now, since I have learned a valuable lesson, Customer Service at Fitzgerald ends once they have your money. So they lost a customer for life over $150.00 and maybe others too.

I requested quotes on a new Mazda 6 GT edition, Fitzgerald offered the best price. The salesman, Rhett Brown, was very helpful answering a couple questions I had. I had done a ton of research online, and new the exact configuration I wanted. I went to the Fitzgerald dealership in Frederick, and they had the config I wanted, but not the color scheme. Rhett was able locate a car with the setup and color I wanted from another dealer, and had it at the Frederick dealership within a day. The sales people are great to deal with. Felt like they tried to upsell a little bit on extra services, but didn't use any kind of high-pressure sales tactics when I declined. The sales people at Fitzgerald are very easy and pleasant to deal with. Rhett even pointed out a minor, cosmetic flaw (the Mazda6 HUD looked scuffed) and began the process of getting it fixed before I left the lot. It's probably something I wouldn't have noticed, so I very much appreciate Rhett's honesty and attention to detail. This was my second purchase with Fitzgerald, and they have both been positive experiences.

I recently worked with Dave Harrison on the potential purchase of a new 2015 VW Jetta at Fitzgerald Auto Mall. I cannot say enough nice things about Dave. Dave provided top notch customer service and truly cared that my car buying experience was a positive one. Josh Gillions the sales manager and Dave did a fantastic job putting together the final numbers and really worked hard to stay within our budget. I contacted Fitzgerald to inquire about a vehicle they offered on Cars.com and my e-mail was returned quickly. The saleperson obtained a list of repairs needed to get this car road worthy and forwarded that to me. While I did not purchase the car the dealership was very helpful in helping me arrive at that decision. I have shopped there before with the same great service and even brought my daughter there and she purchased a car.

Back in February I bought a VW Golf from David Harrison, and it was a great experience overall. The price of the car was right, I do not feel like I got hosed on my trade in, and the entire process had very little to no pressure. The Service Team at Fitz has done a tremendous job in repairing my 2005 Trailblazer's A/C issues. I got this vehicle from their Frederick dealership (my third car purchased there) and the A/C had some trouble after they explained that it was already repaired. They team, including Seth Dawson and their customer service group, pledged to repair it for me anyway with them covering nearly all the cost. And they did a great job. Mark was very personable and friendly throughout the buying process. He remained understanding and positively enthusiastic even when there was an accidental coffee spillage during the test drive on my father's part. I walked into a Fitzgerald dealership to go on a couple of test drives. The sales person, David Harrison, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Even though, I went away without promising to make a purchase, he was not very pushy and allowed me up to 45 days before calling to enquire the status of my car purchase. I went back into the Fitzgerald dealership, and decided on the car that I wanted. At this point, David was very patient in providing me price quotes based on all options, trade-in quote for my old car and in answering a lot of questions I had regarding financing (I did not eventually take the financing option) and new car registration. As soon as I decided on the car and all options, the car was delivered to me within a few hours. the paper work and payments process was also very smooth, thanks to Mike. I will definitely recommend David Harrison and Fitzgerald Auto Mall to anybody interested in buying a vehicle.

I purchased a Mazda 6 from David Harrison. He was very professional. I was looking for the 2015 Mazda 6 in soul red with the technology package. They didn't have one the day I went in, but he went out and found the exact car I was looking for from another dealership and brought it in for me. This was a no pressure sell, which made it a much more pleasurable experience than other dealers that want to pressure you into buying a car. We discovered a potential major problem in a recent vehicle that we purchased at Fitzgerald. The Assistant Service Manager Kim Swann moved on it straight away and took care of the repairs. We purchased the service pack and an extended warranty at the time of our purchase in January. The handling of our repair needs was prompt, highly professional, and exceeded our expectations. Kim really looks out for Fitzgerald's customers. I can't thank her enough for all that she did in handling our repair needs. A week or two later, I took the car to have the service department put the license plates on our Mini Cooper and without an appointment I was in and out in no time. Kim asked about the repair work and if we had any other problems with our vehicle. I am really pleased with the service department! We've purchased several vehicles at Car Max over the years and never experienced this level of professionalism. We truly appreciate the prompt attention from Ms. Swann and the Service Department at Fitzgerald!

He wa knowledgeable regarding the vehicles available and was extremely patient with the time involved to complete the deal due to bad weather in the area. Aside from the wait for financing our sales experience was truly exceptional. The salesman and sales manager bent over backwards trying to keep us occupied during the wait. We received a tour of the service area, they cleaned and washed our Toyota Highlander, and offered to pick up food for us (though we declined). In addition, since the car was being picked up from another dealer in Dundalk and would not be ready until later that evening, Brian Robinson delivered the car in a snow storm to our residence on Valentine's day. It was above and beyond the call.

Mike Hawkins was wonderful... Really laid back approach was nice- no pressure. He really has fun talking about the mechanics of the cars and the new technology. Had fun going on a few test drives as well. His finance manager was very pleasant and low key- very nice. I would like to compliment the sales/service team; especially Tim Phillips and Andrew Linkler for their assistance in resolving a lengthy and distasteful repair experience (at another dealership!) for my Saturn Sky. After multiple repairs and a recall, I was still experiencing major issues and the car was not drivable. When advised by a senior service adviser at GM to try another dealership to see if some form of buy-out, I visited Fitzgerald. THE DIFFERENCE WAS AMAZING! Andrew and Tim immediately became part of the solution instead of just parroting "no can do." They went to the other dealership, evaluated my vehicle and made a very competitive offer, which combined with some Customer Loyalty Cash from GM, put us into a new Spark. Although repair parts magically appeared at the last moment, we opted to follow-through on the new vehicle.primarily because of the attitude at Fitzgerald. Very good repair service at dealership, but the "customer service" is simply lousy on-line. Could not access the parts department to check prices without signing in, which I choose not to do and never have had to do in the past. Did on-line chat and the attendant said that he didn't know how the net worked in the parts department and didn't offer any alternatives. Since my last visit the on-line service appears to be telling me that they really don't want my business.

Went in knowing what I wanted. All I needed was a test drive, price on trade in and new CX-5. David Harrison was my sales rep and he did a great job. I was in and out of the dealership in less than an hour and a half. I did have to push for higher trade in but stuck firm with my number and they ultimately accepted. I purchased a used car from Fitzgeralds on Baughmans Lane in early Jan 2015. Had purchased four cars from here previously and had great experiences each time. This last time though I couldn't help but feel taken across regarding my trade in, they really low balled the value of it. They said an accident showed up on Carfax that my car had been in which was fine, it was a minor accident my vehicle wasn't even damaged. The salesman made it sound as if it would really affect the value so they offered me $4,500 for my vehicle. Well low and behold a few days later I see where they had my old vehicle for sale at TWICE the amount they gave me. Now I'm all for people making a profit and I should shoulder some of the blame as well for not haggling a bit but these people ought to be ashamed. The facility is state of the art. The people are very friendly and extremely helpful. They make sure they know what you want and they give it to you. My salesperson was Ernest Warren and he met me on the lot having recognized me as I was getting out of my car. The amazing thing was I had never met him, only talked to him on the phone. He took his time, figured out my needs and worked very hard to give me a quality car for a good price.

Mark Lawson was great to work with. He didn't pressure me into making a decision, had good info about the cars i was interested in and worked with me to get the rate/payment/term I wanted. The Finance guy (Mike Bennett) was great to work with and got me out in a reasonable amount of time without giving me the hard sales pitch on the extras. I also met with Andrew Linker who spent some extra time showing me the features of the car.

Then I purchased my used 4 runner here again great price and the easiest car purchase I've ever done. I've had it serviced here, many times. in 5 year and 100000 miles, they've never tried to sell me something I didn't need. The prices are always fair for the work they do and they are very friendly to deal with. I don't think I'd ever look anyplace else for a car or for service, I'm a fan.

My husband and I shopped around extensively for a 2015 Mazda CX-5 at dealerships throughout Maryland and Virginia. Fitzgerald Auto Mall not only had the best price, but also had the friendliest staff of any of the dealerships that we contacted. Andrew Linker was a pleasure to deal with; he was knowledgeable, informative, focused on ensuring that we were satisfied with our purchase, and not pushy at all. Our experience with the rest of the sales staff, particularly sales manager Sondra Kelley, was excellent as well. Their focus on quality and satisfaction was second to none. We had a minor factory defect in one of the seats in the vehicle, and they were not only willing but adamant to repair the seat to (better-than) factory condition. The seat now is perfect. In summary, this is by far the best car-buying experience we have ever had. When we need our next car, there is no question where we will buy it: Fitzgerald.

Keep it short and sweet. I got what I needed to get for my trade and what was in the ballpark of what it was worth. After test driving the model that was brought from another location, we picked something else. Helpful 100% of the way with no issues. They even gave the kids some snacks since it was around dinnertime. Having kids, nothing is more annoying than trying to buy a car and the person you are working with you can tell can't tolerate the interruption every once in a while. Everyone we worked with from sales, sales manager, to finance went smooth and they were all jovial and polite. I haven't had to use the service dept yet, so I have no comment on that. Thank you Brian R. for working with us and getting a majority of the paperwork done before we even walked in the door.

Fitzgerald Auto Mall is unique in that they're a "no-haggle" dealer. The cars are priced competitively, so there's no playing games or the stress of negotiating for a lower price. I bought a Mazda3 from David Harrison...and he was very good at responding to my e-mails and giving me all of the information I requested. Overall, I'd say I had a good experience and would consider buying from them again in the future.

This is the third vehicle I have purchased new from Fitzgerald. They searched to find me the exact model/trim level/color I wanted and the deal was reasonable. My only complaint was that the interior of the windows were not cleaned completely and there were bits of paper the top of the dash. A little more attention to detail would have helped. We have had the car for about a week now and are completely satisfied with it.

I'm normally a fan of Fitzgerald and have purchased many cars from them over the years. I've also referred at least a dozen other individuals, so I feel as if I'm at least partially responsible for a respectable number of sales. I recently purchased a new car, and Mr. Braswell, the sales representative, was extremely helpful and courteous. He ran through the extended warranty program that Fitzgerald offers, and I politely declined. No problems. Alex, one of the dealership's business managers also brought up the program and I let him know that Mr. Braswell had already run through it and that I was not interested. Alex was polite and not at all pushy and respected my decision to decline. Still no problems. Then came the signing of the paperwork. The business manager responsible for this part of the deal absolutely insisted on running through the details of the extended warranty program. I informed her that I had already heard about it through Mr. Braswell and that I knew about it even earlier through a purchase I made last year at Fitzgerald. It being a Saturday, having already spent several hours at the dealership, and having my kids waiting for me to take them to sporting events, I was short on time and made my situation known to the business manager. She still insisted that I "let her do her job" and "that she was busy too and had other customers to deal with." If I had not been so far into the process, I would have walked away then and there. Instead I let her go through her script (for the third time). Then to rub it in my face, she asked, "Now was that so bad?" As I wrote, Mr. Braswell was great and I'd give him a 10 out of 10. The other business manager (Alex) was also a nice guy and helpful. My experience was marred by the blatant rudeness of the other business manager and I fumed the rest of the day. Yesterday might have been my last dealing with Fitzgerald. If it's the Fitzgerald associates' "job" to bully their customers and push their extras beyond the point of respecting the customer's decision and other constraints, then Fitzgerald has a real customer service problem. It certainly ruined what otherwise would have been another stellar review for the dealership.

I leased a 2015 Mazda6 Grand Touring from your dealership. My salesman, Andrew Linker, was outstanding. He answered all of the questions my wife and I asked, was helpful during our test drive in pointing out the features and ride qualities of the vehicle, and assisted us until well after closing time with our purchase. Sondra Kelley did a great job of explaining the lease numbers to us, and helped me to understand the differences between the deal that was offered and my expiring lease on a competitor manufacturer vehicle, which enabled me to compare "apples to apples". Lastly, Justin in finance was very efficient in processing the final paperwork. Andrew, Sondra, and Justin were all pleasant and courteous throughout the transaction. I went to Fitzgerald auto mall on Baughmans Lane looking to purchase a vehicle. My credit was ran and was decent but because of the upside equity I would need a cosigner (at least that's what I was told by the salesman). He said if I found a cosigner that the sale would be a go so that's what I did. I called Monday morning and was told he got the credit app and would submit it to the bank. Through out the day I never heard from him so I called several times to check on things just to be told the same thing that the bank hadn't responded yet. Finally after waiting nine hours I requested to speak with a supervisor. I explained my situation and was then connected with the salesman who proceeded to tell me it was not approved because of the upside down equity. So I feel like I was lied to for one and on top of it the customer service was very unprofessional. The salesman should of called me immediately and let me know right away on top of keeping me posted throughout the day without me being the one to have to call continually. The overall visit was a nightmare!!

Buying a new Equinox Marc is an awesome salesman! My wife and I took off work on a cold February Monday to buy a new car. Our intention was to check at least two dealerships so we went to Fitzgearld first. We were looking at Malibus and Marc came out and asked if we would like to test drive one. Marc brought up the Malibu while we waited inside the warm show room. After driving the Malibu, we decided against it; did not like the engine shutoff feature. We then checked out the Equinox. Marc was very patient while we test drove one, and gave us privacy to decide if we really wanted the car, and helped us with the decesion process due to the large selection of Equinoxs available. We chose a blue one with houndstooth seats, similar to the classic '69 Camaro's optional interior. After choosing to buy the Equinox, Marc was extremely diligent helping us through the entire process, including the financing, the vehicle prep, and the explanation of all of the accoutrements that come with a new car. The Bluetooth is a great feature! We did the entire process in one day, and never needed to visit another dealership. I will definitely buy another car or truck from Fitzgearld, especially from Marc. I researched new cars on the internet. I found a car on the web that I was interested in, and input information for a follow up from the dealer. The very next day, Andrew Linker called to follow up on my inquiry. When I got to the dealer the next day, Andrew was working with another customer, however as soon as he was finished came to greet me BY NAME!!! His knowledge of the car I purchased was valuable in weighing the pros and cons. He walked me through the entire purchasing process and ensured that I was well taken care of, including answering any questions I had. I am a repeat customer of Fitzgerald. Every experience has been of the same quality and standard, whether purchasing a car or in the service center getting maintenance on my car. Always professional and high quality service!

We went on Friday evening to look at the cars because we were not sure exactly what kind we wanted. Mark Eijgelsheim came out and showed us the Spark. He was very knowledgeable about the car and all of the other cars to which it is comparable. He was patient with all of my questions. We left there with a lot of information and went to one other dealer to see a comparison vehicle and looked online at others. We were not impressed. I texted Mark to let him know that we would be back early Saturday, he was quick to reply. The sale went very smoothly, he was very careful to make us feel comfortable and to keep us informed as to what what going on. He explained each step thoroughly to make sure that we understood. I have bought three cars through Fitzgerald. I have also wasted time going to other dealerships that had a lower advertised price "cough...Sharrett".... Once you're in the door you find out that price is with every conceivable rebate added on. So unless you're a three-legged balerina currently in the space program you won't qualify and will basically be paying MSRP. Take my advice and don't burn a couple extra hours and then go to Fitzgerald. Just go straight there. They've always beat the other dealership's price. This last time I had David Harrison. He was very personable and laid back (even though he skipped lunch).

We had a positive experience at Fitzgerald and are excited about our new Chevy Traverse. Andrew Linker was an excellent Sales consultant-- super friendly, helpful, quick to respond to our questions via email, phone , and text, and a pleasure to work with. Manger Mark and finance guy Justin Brown were also great. I generally do not enjoy the process of buying a new car-- always feel like there is scheming going on-- but this time it was actually pretty painless thanks to these gentlemen. We did have one mistake during our car purchase process and as soon as we brought it to their attention Mark and Andrew made it right. I only point this out because it really showed us that they were honest and stood behind their claim of sales and service with integrity. We could not have asked for a better outcome. Went in to get my 2003 Beetle repaired as I was an hour from home and didn't have the time to repair my vehicle myself. They were very friendly and gave me a loaner car for the repairs. My water distribution flange made of plastic had come apart and needed replacing. After replacing the flange they informed me that my water pump had also malfunctioned due to overheating and the impellar was made of plastic. And while they were there they asked if I would like the timing belt and tensioner replaced. I agreed! Then I was told the car was hesitating and needed new coil packs and wires. Thing is it never hesitated before but I figured why not it had around 200 thousand miles on it. After the repairs and after 6 months I got a low coolant alarm so I filled the overflow reservoir with distilled water. After several days I got the same warning and started smelling anti-freeze. I read online about this issue and it was possible that the problem was most likely the overflow tank also made of plastic. Upon looking over my bill I noticed that they had charged me for a gallon jug of coolant when I had purchased a jug along with the flange when I first arrived separately and I now needed a jug if I was to pull the overflow tank and make sure the coolant level was correct. So I was able to get a jug of coolant from Fitzgerald after they looked over my bill and I had explained that I had bought a gallon jug and the fact that it only takes half of the gallon for the system anyway. So when I pulled out the overflow tank I noticed that there seemed to be no cracks, I then pressurized it and it was good. So I removed the bottom skid plate to figure out where the coolant was coming from and pulled the top timing chain cover off for better visibility. Well it so happens that the "Newly" installed water pump was leaking and looking at the paperwork stated that repairs were warrantied for 90 days or 4000 miles. So I figured I was out of luck with them repairing it and decided to repair it myself as I have fixed and rebuilt about everything on a car and had had issues with repair shops before, hence I know it is done right if I do it and I will use the Bentley's repair manual for torque specs etcetera. Well I replaced the water pump with a pump that has a metal impeller versus the plastic one on the OEM. Cleaned all the metal surfaces with Scothbrite and flushed the system with tap water as recommended. I even cleaned the block and painted it. Made sure I had placed coolant on the new o-ring for the pump and it looked like the previously repaired pump had been leaking from day one from the indication of rust on the mating surface of the OEM pump. It clearly stated in the Bentley's that not cleaning the surfaces, flushing out the system and applying coolant on the o-ring will only lead to pre-mature failure. Well guess what the Fitzgerald "ASE" certified auto technician most likely didn't do, pick one. Anyway I talked to Fitzgerald about this and even though they were very sorry and I should have brought it in for them to look at as they said, their paper work did not state that OEM VW parts are warrantied for 12 months. Hence why I did not take it back for them to repair and waste my time having the same thing happen again. If you have the skills and want something done right, do it yourself. And since Fitzgerald could not help me and were very sorry, where they could have at least asked to see my receipts of a new water pump from NAPA for $83 versus the OEM for $377 and the coolant and offer to at least give me something toward that. I am here to warn others of their repair work. First off it costs an arm and a leg and then to get something that should not happen by a ASE technician is beyond me. Maybe it would have been better for Fitzgerald to offer to pay me for my troubles. Well I am sure you are the ones that will pay one way or the other, hence my review.

I am writing to let you know that I had a wonderful experience at the Frederick Fitzgerald Auto Mall, purchasing my new Mazda CX-5. All too often, people feel the need to share their negative experiences when shopping for a car, but this family business truly knows how to do "it". When I bought my previous car in 2010, I felt pressure, anxiety, and overall angst during the process at another "will-not-be-named-local-dealer-chain". Once I got home and got over the rushed experience, I loved the car and enjoyed driving it for the next 4 years. But after recalling the experience to my husband, who used to work in the car industry, he claimed, "You were steamrolled." and I've always lingered on that and felt duped. My experience at Fitzgerald was a completely different situation and was from the start of this whole process when my husband inquired about the available CX-5's initially. We worked with David Harrison, who at every step was communicative, knowledgeable, efficient, easy-going, personable and above all, understood the need NOT to pressure. He explained all the add-on options, warranties, and more, all the while making it clear, that this was my experience and choice, not his -- he was merely the guide to help get me there. We also worked with Justin (I didn't get a last name) in the finance department who approached the sale the exact same way, and albeit with some nervousness (who doesn't have a little bit when making a big purchase like this?!), I spent my time in that teeny tiny little office, getting all my questions answered, hashing out details and scenarios with my husband candidly with no judgement or interference from Justin unless asked, and walked out feeling positive about that final monthly payment and how it was handled to get there. It was after 10pm by the time Justin handed me the last paper where I signed my name for millionth time and then I was handed the keys to pose for a photo with David and my new car. The cleaning crew and these two guys were all who remained and I thank them endlessly for being patient with my repeat questions and dealing with us for over 4 hours.

I have no purchased two vehicles from Fitz. One at the Gaithersburg location, and now one at the Frederick location. I have to say, this has to be the best place to purchase a vehicle! Great staff and service! Daniel Garfield and Rhett Brown are fantastic! They were extremely helpful and went well beyond any expetation you would have for a dealer. I highly recommend them!!

After some years and several customer experiences with them Fitzgerald has become my trusted source for a new or next vehicle. They made sure to cover all the important details in an honest and accommodating way while not avoiding the facts and tougher points of making a deal. They found a way to make my new car deal work with my "tough" trade situation even though it seemed impossible and yet I was not left with a "balloon" or upside down price to pay. Kevin was very helpful right from the start of my issue. He accurately informed me of the problem, made it clear that the manufacturer was responsible for the repair and he ensured my car would be ready by the agreed upon time. In the past I had be somewhat wary of dealer service but my experience at Fitzgerald Cadillac has completely removed any reservations about this going forward.

Very organized in service dept when bringing in vehicle for service..prompt,efficient and very courteous...the service dept,offiice people were very professional and prompt as well...my only concerns were, the length of time my vehicle was there without calls or updates the first time, I had to call after a week of waiting, I had just bought the vehicle and it was in the facility longer then I was able to drive and enjoy it, then I picked it up and had to return in the next morning due to a gas leak, caused by a recall repair they fixed and I wasn't aware of, I don't understand how this problem was not noticed immediately by the automotive dept.I was scared to drive the vehicle and frightened of what could happen with a gas keak that was very noticeable and obvious...it was yet another inconvenience for another 2 plus days..and due to the leak of my gas tank I obviously lost gas as well, which was filled by the salesman, because I picked up the car when I purchased it, on an empty tank...I questioned the service dept and I was told I should speak to the salesman again...I do not feel that is appropriate since the automotive dept broke the tank and never checked for.leakage...if they had I wouldn't of had to return the vehicle or or lost at least a 1/4 of a tank of gas...

I have always had great experiences at Fitzgerald. My husband and I have bought a total of 3 cars from them and they have always given us a fair price and have treated us well. Andrew helped my husband and I buy a Chevrolet Equinox and it was the first vehicle that we drove and we fell in love with it. I felt as though Andrew was honest with us and answered all of our questions that we had. I had traded in my vehicle and they gave me over what my car was actually worth, which certainly helped us make up our mind. I would definitely recommend Fitzgerald to anyone.

I recently had work done on my car and as always Mary took very good care of me. She always calls with details and timeframe of when the work will be done.We have never received nothing but great customer service at this location.But what really made me write this review was when me and my husband were trying to put our daughter's car seats back in. Two men I believe( Art and Justin)came over and took care of the situation. Made sure that they were safe and secure.My husband and I are very grateful. I won't take my car anywhere else!!!

This was my first visit to your dealership and from the time that I pulled my car into the service bay to when I drove out the experience was great. I was greeted by the gentleman at the desk, courteous and polite, the service rep. explained the process and relieved me of my vehicle and then directed me to the waiting room. Service was done in a timely fashion and I was out of there within 45 minutes. My only complaint was that there were no specials for me to take advantage off on this trip.

Great experience, good customer service. The only issue was that attention to detail was not there. Had oil change done, however had to bring vehicle back because engine light came on due to tech not properly inserting dip stick which caused the computer to give a faulty reading. Issue was resolved but but additional time had to be wasted in order to finish job properly.

I was disappointed that my car was not washed after the service. It use to be in the past. Why did they stopped that service? Also, the service charge for changing the oil also includes tire rotation. My car does not get/require a tire rotation because it has different size tires on the front and back. So why shouldn't I get a reduced price on the oil change? Other than that, the service personnel are very nice, polite and professional.

When making the appointment the week before I wasn't happy with the way I was treated by an employee named Kevin. The day of my service I had Tom Dawson taking care of my service call. I couldn't have been happier with how he handled everything. He was very professional. He listened to what I had to say and made me feel very comfortable leaving my care in his care. He couldn't have done anything more than what he did. He was outstanding. Hope to be able to have him in my future visits.

I was given an estimate on how long the vehicle would take to be serviced, and then was called several hours before that time. When I came back, the same friendly and efficient representatives were there to help me immediately, and my truck was brought back to the front for maximum convenience. The vehicle was cleaner than it was when I had left it to be serviced.

This is our fifth time buying at a Fitzgerald dealership. We were looking at used cars and were approached within two minutes from a salesman. Bruce, without being pushy, asked us what we were interested in and lined up several suvs, including one we saw online from their 85 site, for test driving. When we weren't satisfied with the used models, Bruce recommended several new ones. We ended up purchasing a 2014 Chevy Equinox and love it! The buying process is tedious, but were were completely satisfied when we drove off the lot in our new car. We will be returning to Fitzgerald in the future.

A week ago, I bought a Volkswagen Jetta from David Harrison at Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Frederick, MD. I went in to the dealership that day thinking that I would not be able to afford a new car but knowing that my Saturn (186K + miles) would not last much longer. David greeted me with a friendly smile as soon as I entered the dealership and listened as I explained what I was looking for. He did some research and explained my purchasing and financing options to me in a non-pressuring way. David was professional but also personable. He made me feel very comfortable throughout the transaction and he was able to get me into a 2014 Volkwagen Jetta with payments in my "comfort zone." David had my new car ready when promised and took the time to orient me to the Jetta so that I felt completely at ease driving off the lot. Afterwards, David followed up with a phone call to make sure the car and I were getting along and to answer any questions. I am very impressed with David's wrap around service and feel that he is the best salesman I have ever had the honor of working with. Without pressuring me in any way, he brought his expertise to the table and was able to meet my needs despite my limited budget and somewhat dinged credit history. Everything went smooth. I was greated right away and walked through the process. The wait was as long as they said it would be and that was nice. The waiting area is large and it was nice that coffee/tea was available. The only negative thing I had was when my car was returned there were black handprints on and near the door handle. I went home and wiped them off and wiped off the inside door, gear shift and steering wheel since I wasn't sure what all was touched and the interior is black so it wouldn't be noticeable.

The salesman, David Harrison was very helpful in showing me several makes and models before I made my final decision. He was not at all pushy, and was very responsive to all of my questions. The final price was fair, and the trade-in was better than expected. I'll probably be back when it's time for #61.

We bought a 2013 Cadilac CTS in May. The car drove great until it got cold out. Then we started having issues with the car "jolting" when you would turn the wheel. It would scare me and I would think I hit something. Service told me it was normal, it got worse. Finally contacted Cadillac who got back to me right away and made Fitzgerald contact me. Fitz rep drove the car and told me, Yes, I would be mad if this were my car. He then contacted Cadillac again. Recent snow, car couldn't drive more than 5 miles an hour on a lightly covered snow street without sliding all over the road. Couldn't get to work one day, car got stuck. Got a call from Fitzgerald telling me I had SUMMER tire package on the car and I would need to put winter tires on the car each year. WHAT????? Why hadn't the sales person told me this? Why is this care being sold in MD???? I was told it warns me in the book.....who reads the book until you buy the car?? No one has offered to fix the problem for me, so I must take a huge hit to trade the car in because it is not safe to drive. Shame on the Fitzgerald sales people for not warning the buyer about this type of tire. I don't know anyone who changes their winter tires any more.

I had made an appointment to see a vehicle 2days in advanced, drove for 60 miles just to get there and once I got there they couldn't find the car that I was interested on buying, and didn't get a simple phone call telling me not to come in.

First of all, this place has multiple locations and it seemed none of the cars we were looking at were at the location it was listed at. One listing interested us in particular and when I emailed someone about it I was told it wasn't ready. Okay...then why post it? We decided to check out two locations anyways and happened to find the "not ready" vehicle. We asked to be contacted when it came available. Yeah, never heard a peep out of anyone. No one seemed particularly interested in helping us. I guess because we weren't buying a $50,000 truck, so we took our money elsewhere and will do the same next time, too.

If you are a first time buyer, STAY AWAY! After declining all their types of coverage, and being told casually I was receiving a 24000 mile warranty at no charge, I was charged an additional $3000 on my purchase order. I had just moved to Maryland and was in a rush to buy a car, starting a new job and this place took advantage of every possible fee to tack on while boldly lying through their teeth. Even though I clearly said no to every type of dealership warranty and packages, knowing I was moving back home in a few months, they charged me for IT ALL. MY SERVICE CONTRACT WASNT EVEN SIGNED, but once the purchase order is signed, all Fitzgeralds will do is laugh on the way to the bank.

I was really dreading the whole car buying experience because the previous process was pretty horrendous. Then I spoke to Justin Williams from the Fitzgerald Auto Mall in Frederick and he put me at ease almost instantly. He was really down to earth and eager to help me with the white Pontiac G8 I wanted, even though he was unfamiliar with the car. He provided the necessary documentation and did not sugar-coat anything. He was very polite and did not push me to look at any other cars or look at the other G8 they had on the lot (still a nice looking one, just not what I was looking for). He let my father and me stroll the lot alone after we had test driven the G8 and was extremely helpful in letting us bring the car home to have our home mechanic look at it before purchasing. They did find a slight pull to the left, which needed a new steering column. They replaced that at no charge to me and also touched up the paint in a couple of spots. The touch ups were done okay, but I am still taking it to a friend for more touch ups. All in all, great experience and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Chance the finance manager also was very helpful as well, I went in on Friday looked at some cars the car I ended up purchasing in PA they took time out went the PA on Sat brought it back inspected it and was ready for me that afternoon I really appreciate all that they did in my car search.
