Salesman (Brad Newman) picked out some vehicles ahead of my 1st visit that he thought I would like. He did a great job. I ended up purchasing the first vehicle that he showed me and I love it. He's the best. I was also pleased with the value of my trade-in. Would have preferred a lower finance rate but the sale price of the vehicle was fair. Eric Herzog was nice to work with; knowledgeable and patient. The only disappointing aspect of my visit was the conduct of some of the other staff. I am by no means a prude, but some of the language was pretty inappropriate for the workplace. It was about 30 minutes from close of business and obvious that some were ready to start the weekend. It was a little uncomfortable. When spending that amount of money, a different kind of environment is appreciated.

Eric McKendrick was excellent checking me in & very helpful & friendly & went out of his way to assist me. The check out process however had much to be desired - the young girl who checked me out had ear bud in her ear listening to music. She was actually snap chatting while checking me out. That is very poor customer service. My bill was in correct. My $70 coupon was not taken off my bill.

My husband and I had been looking at vehicles online and driving through the dealerships. When we came to Fitzgerald's in Chambersburg we were just browsing through the lot when Derek Sweeney approached us and asked if he could help us and listened to what we were looking for and he steered us in the right direction to look at the vehicles that interested us. He was not pushy and he gave us the time to browse. He was a new salesman so once we were ready to try out a few vehicles he had Alex Chandler help us. The both of them let us try out as many vehicles as we wanted and were very helpful and patient with us. We had no intention of purchasing a vehicle that day but with the deal we were given with our trade and the pricing of the new vehicle we could not pass it up. We have purchased numerous vehicles in the past from this dealership and have been satisfied and this experience was no different. Very happy with both of the sales associates and the dealership.

If I could give this establishment a 0 I would. I was highly disappointed in how they treated me as a customer. Three weeks ago I went and looked at a car, test drove it and fell in love. I was told they had just gotten it in, so it still needed to be cleaned/detailed. I was fine with that because I was insured it would be done by the following week. They were ready and willing to take my money even though the car was not ready. They wanted me to sign papers saying I would pay the x amount they wanted for the car. I then was notified they found something wrong with the car and might not fix it. They did decide to fix it because I loved the car so much. I’ve been waiting 2 and a half weeks for the car, paying insurance on it and not getting any answers. I called about 3 times every week to see if I could get a date since I’m leaving for college in a couple of days. They just played around and could never give me a date. I then asked for a discount or reimbursement for the insurance I’ve been paying on and they rudely told me “it’s gonna be a no.” They told me a discount was impossible because they “tried to get me into another car” (that was WAY out of my budget). Lastly, they do not have the title so it could’ve been even longer before I got the car. Now I am stuck without a car going back to college. I am highly disappointed. I do not recommend buying a car from these scam artists! DONT PUT A CAR ON YOUR WEBSITE IF ITS NOT READY PERIOD! UPDATE: I talked to the manager herself and she also gave me the run around for 2 more days. This establishment is awful, they take advantage of customers.

I found this amazing dealership after doing a web search last night for a Certified Toyota Venza. I found one at my local dealership, but the price was a little too expensive. I bought a car in April of 2014, and have had numerous problems that were a result of this dealership's shoddy workmanship. First of all, the car wouldn't pass Maryland inspection because it needed a new steering rack put in -- Fitzgerald agreed to do this, with brand new Toyota parts and I was thrilled. I felt that was above and beyond and was pretty happy with my dealership relationship, up until I got the car back and the alignment was so far off I had to really struggle to keep it on the road. No call backs after I complained about this. THEN, when I went to have the brakes replaced a few months later, I discovered that I had no key to the wheel locks. The dealership maintained that there never was a key to the wheel locks (are you crazy???) and that -- here's the incredible part -- it was "my problem to figure out" when I asked what I would have done if I'd gotten a flat on the highway and needed to change a tire asap. I was SHOCKED. A year after, I discovered that someone put power steering fluid in the power steering reserve, which doesn't sound bad at all until you read the manual and understand that Toyotas from a certain time period took TRANSMISSION FLUID, NOT POWER STEERING FLUID. And the power steering fluid pump burned up. The dealership maintained that I had done this. After a nasty back-and-forth, they asserted that that "wouldn't really cause a problem anyway." Again -- are you crazy??? ALSO, they put the wrong transmission fluid in the car as well -- I had to drain and refill it several time. I LOVE the car that I drive, but I HATE this dealership for what they've done, then how they've treated me. My father and brother own a local shop, and we have repeatedly steered people away from Fitzgerald.

After a bad experience at another dealership we came to Fitzgerald. We made contact with Andrew. He bent over backwards even though he knew that it would take us a while to decide what we wanted. After four test drives in one night and watching Andrew having to run across Route 30 to get one vehicle, I knew we would buy here. We decided on a 2013 Nissan Murano. Andrew followed up regularly and was patient with the fact our schedules would delay things.Jonathan from finance helped a lot when I was having issues obtaining documents for the bank and then the final signing Becky made the closing a good and not nerve racking experience.Thank you all very much

The day I decided to go look around at this dealership it was raining on and off so my goal was to avoid any sales consultant. I like to avoid most sales persons if I can. Well, as I was looking at the new Sentras a sales consultant was making his way toward me, it was Eric. I thought, here we go, but after meeting him, his calm demeanor helped me feel comfortable to discuss what I was looking for. After spending time with Eric looking around and test driving a Sentra, he suggested that I take the car home and show the wife. Wife and I drove the car and looked it over and decided that we would be interested in buying one. The model we drove was a Sentra SV but wanted to look at the Sentra SRs since much sportier looking but cost more. We met with Eric and went over the financials and was able to purchase a new 2016 Sentra SR. The finance manager Pete Morgan met with us and discussed our trade in value and the cost to afford this Sentra we were interested in. We felt that Eric and he did all what they could do to help us have the ability to purchase the car we wanted. We liked working with Eric and Pete. Most of my time was spent with Eric who listened to our concerns and inquiries we had, and was always able to answer or find an answer for us. We appreciated him very much and would recommend anyone to seek him out when shopping at Fitz Way.

I've been cars shopping for many months now. While my credit took a small bump I quickly recovered and was refered to Fitzmall by several people. Many dealerships seemed eager to take advantage of a buyer with less than stellar credit or even refused to return a phone call, Fitzmall was different. Within three days of sending in a finance application I was contacted by a sales representative and walked out with an amazing new car. The salesman Ryan was very eager to help me find an affordable car with great financing options. the seller did not pressure me into purchasing anything that he felt I did not need. If you want a great car and a great car buying experience, Ryan is the guy for you. 10 out of 10 would definetly purchase a vehicle from Fitzmall again.

I would like to recommend William Lake. We had very limited funds. William was kind, patient, honest, customer service oriented and had our best interest at heart. We were looking into a fixer upper but it wasn't right for us and William said so. He continued to help us find another vehicle. The next vehicle was sold before we could look at it. We weren't expecting to purchase our new vehicle until Sept-Oct but after shopping at the lot and meeting Pete Morgan & Nick Costopoulos we couldn't leave the business without our new 2016 Rogue. We previously purchased a 2008 Nissan Altima and loved everything about the car but decided to purchase the Nissan Rogue for the main reason of being easier getting in and out of. I was very hesitant to go to a dealership looking for a car to buy/finance because of all the shady dealers and haggling for prices and all that. I found a car I was interested in online and almost immediately after entering my info I got a call from Brandon and from that point on, buying a car wasn't nearly as stress/ anxiety filled as I thought. Brandon was extremely helpful and open to my questions, very good at explaining what was going on so I didn't have a shock going in to sign all the paperwork. Then as soon as i thought I couldn't get luckier, Becky in the finance office was super knowledgable and wonderful to work with, she did her job, explaining what I was signing off on very clearly and quickly. I feel like I left that office knowing everything I needed to know about the financial side of the sale and on top of that she was incredibly personable! I couldn't be more thankful to have worked with such a great team for my first buying experience! Thanks Brandon and co!!!

We were looking for a new car to replace our other two cars. As seniors, and being retired, we were ready to go down to one car. After having had Toyotas in the past, and wanting a quality SUV that would get good gas mileage, we decided on the Toyota RAV4 Limited Hybrid. We decided on Magnetic Gray Metallic with the Ash interior. From the time we drove onto the lot, until we drove off with the new RAV4, we have never been treated nicer by employees of a car dealership. Everyone was super nice and professional and a credit to their organization. They made the whole process a pleasure, to say the least. Mike Bockstie is the best car salesman that I have ever delt with, in every respect, and I have delt with many. The sales managers, accessory sales associate and Becky Carr in finance, were simply superb. I an extremely happy with the way the car was delivered to us and the time that Mike spent going over the vehicle with us. This is one great dealership! I definitely recommend it.

There are a few decent dealerships left and Fitzgerald at the Chambersburg Auto Mall is one of them. Very nice place, willing to work with you and very friendly. I went in there and told them what I was looking at, where I wanted to be and where I was at. They did not try to push me into something else but worked to make that deal happen and they did it for less then I was willing to pay per month. This dealership is one of the few who will give you a very nice deal. Most dealerships try to get the most that they can for the cars they sell never mind the customer. At the Fitzgerald they don't do that. their cars are very reasonably priced you really need to check this place out.

I was there a week or so for oil change. Service agent forgot to place the lower shield. It was snapping on the interstate i had to go back in for service. After waiting for 30 min they said car was outside it was not. I had to go other side to bring my car. I was not told where the car was parked after service. Then after sitting inside my car floor matts went missing. I had to go back in to ask where is my floor matt. Agent on reception said inside the trunk trying to explain me about recall. I don't need that xxxxxxxx. I should get my car the way it was pulled in. Not good service.

I am in the market for a 3/4 ton p/u trk, and found 1 a 2011 Chevrolet Red in color. Spoke with Nick on the phone. He seemed professional and interested in making a sale. However after a few days went by and the dealership dropped the price. Nick sent me an email and offered me the truck again, at the dropped price and again I restated my offer of what I think the truck is worth. There was no negotiating with Nick so I said NO! Years past i would never take work to the dealer "overpriced just want to sell you more" With Fitzgerald Nissan, i have never been pressured. I bought My back in December of 2010 the convenience of dropping off getting a loaner vehicle you just cant beat. from minor issues like oil changes or check engine lights they are there to help you every step of the way. Reis, thank you he offered me some advice kept me updated on my vehicle i just cant ask for more. it doesn't matter who takes care of you everyone there is willing to help you to get back on the road.

I switched wheels on my 2011 Avalon with my daughter's 2011 Avalon.I did not know that the wheel sensors are registered to each individual car. This caused the TPMS light to come on and could not be reset. Fitzgereald Toyota explained the problem and reprogrammed the system to the accept the new sensors, charging the prescribed fee. For the few times my Toyotas have needed attention, Fitzgerald Toyota has always given my prompt and appropriate service, never suggesting unnecessary repairs, unlike the Toyota dealer in Alexandria, VA.

Great experience. William and Derek answered most of my questions over the phone/email, so the deal was closed extremely efficiently once I arrived at the dealership. Fitz's no-haggle fair pricing takes a lot of stress out of the car buying experience. The dealership was able to match my credit union's rates, which made one-stop shopping that much easier. I have bought four vehicles from various Fitzgerald dealerships, and I have always been treated fairly and have not regrets.

Jeremy Brown was my salesperson and my purchase of my new Prius was wonderful and then the downside began. I was waiting for an insurance check for my total loss vehicle and Marty the finance mgr agreed to hold s check -I was told to call by noon on a certain day if I hadn't received the check. The day came and I called st 9:12 am only to find out the check was already deposited. (It went through my bank the same day so they didn't even wait the agreed time) I drove an hour to get there the next week to sign the insurance check over to them (called first to make sure it was ok) only to find out they don't do that so left them with a personal check and wasted 2 hours of driving time. I incurred $68 in bank charges and was promised reimbursement-it's been 10 days since their new check cleared and no reimbursement-called and still no check. Now I find out they never installed a front license bracket for MD plates and I have to make 2 visits to a local dealership to get this done. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED!!!!! Is this the "Fitzway" of doing business? If so it is not for me.

My husband was looking for a truck and thought he found one Saturday afternoon. He was told no one was available to clean it and it wouldn't be ready til Monday. We completed the process of credit check, etc. my husband told them he would be back Monday after work. He called Monday for he had a question and was told the truck was sold, that he didn't put any money down. To me this is just bad business and we will not be doing business with a company like this.

I bought a used car from fitzgerald . the price was ok but you get what you pay for i guess the first thing I found was the radiator neck was cracked and it had old coolant in it. second was the a/c was low on refrigerant I had to refill it myself and fix the leak .things like this should have been checked before they put them on the lot

Took my daughter's used sentra in for a check engine light on the 11th. The car got a full going over. Earlier this week the brakes started making a grinding noise. I listened and determined it was the rear brake making the noise. I finally got the rear drum off because it was froze on, and when I finally slid the drum off, parts started falling out. The upper springs had fallen off. The star adjuster was flopping around and the front shoe was rubbed smooth because it was cocked up against the drum. The grinding noise has now been identified. No idea how hot the drum and shoe got from rubbing against each other as my daughter drove around. I found the "bracket" that jams against the adjuster in the shape of a "U" at the bottom of the brake assembly. It got that way when the brakes fell apart and it jammed against something and got twisted. I can only believe that the tech was in there last because I have an inspection paper where he had had to remove the drum to measure the shoe thickness. I haven't even called the dealership yet to let them know what happened.

The salesman knew less about the trucks I was interested in than I did. On the phone, the first thing he said was that prices are non negotiable because the salesmen there were not paid commission. On arriving at the dealership there were six or seven salesmen available but they waited for the one I spoke to on the phone. If there is no commission then we could have been seen by anyone, surely? When the right person arrived, he was unwilling to let me test drive the trucks! The salesman was very insulting. There is no we would either go there again or recommend this dealership. Also, one truck we looked at was covered in scratches and had a huge dent, and it was still quite expensive!

We appreciate the time Mr. Bockstie took to familiarize us with the features of this new vehicle. There are many, and all that info can be confusing for people. He did a good job cutting through the mounds of info and getting us off on the right foot. This is the third car we have bought from Mike and we will be back for a fourth. The price was fine for the new vehicle, but I could have gotten a little more for my trade in from another dealer. In the end, however, we went with the deal because the personal attention we received from Mr. Bockstie and the staff outweighed the price considerations.

12/11/14 Service Department replaced both rear oxygen sensors and both belts on my Pathfinder. Ed McCurry, Service Manager, provided outstanding timely service at a more than fair price. Sure, it would be a little awkward, and they may not hug me back, but I would do it!Why? Lets just assume most people are decent enough to apologize when they spill something on your nice new shirt. Really decent people might even pay your dry cleaning bill. Rest assured, if they messed up, Fitzgerald will not only apologize and pay your dry cleaning billtheyll buy you a new shirt.I dont feel the need to go into the specifics of what happened over the course of our deal, because I see no need to air dirty laundry thats already been thoroughly cleaned. But they messed up. As Pros tend to do, they admitted very early on that they messed up. And also like most well-run businesses, they said it wouldnt happen again, and promised to make it right. Heres where they really impressed me. Once they admitted the mistake, they would have absolutely been within their rights as a dealer to apologize and send me on my way with a doughnut or something. But they didnt. They stumbled over themselves to correct what needed to be corrected, and gave me the car I wanted. It was a bit of a process involving work across several states, but all along the way they were courteous and kept me updated. Dont worry, they dont mess up often. I could tell by the way they took measures to correct their mistakes. It isnt something they were pleased about, or used to dealing with. But a lot of times you can tell more about a business during a rare screw-up than you can with a smooth transaction. These guys have integrity, and you wont be disappointed. Mark my words, Im not affiliated with these guys in any way, other than buying a beautiful car from them. I had every reason to be mad, but instead I leave them with a smile on my face. (Did I say this was all done in a friendly, helpful, but professional manner?)And it all started out with a browse on Fitzgerald's website.Extras are handled by Jelyn Waltz -- who has already followed up with me twice (Sunroof + leather seats, o my!)Good place to shop - but remember to ask questions and be assertive -- they're not afraid to say "no" but it's worth it to get a yes (I got several in influencing the overall deal).

I came in to Fitzgerald concerned with the upside down payments that my mother would have after trading in a vehicle and I left stress free and satisfied. He helped to role the numbers over to a new loan with Nissan, for an 2014 Nissan Versa Sedan, and my mother got a smaller, newer car, for less money a month than she was paying each month on her used 2011 Nissan Altima, and perks of having a newer car. She felt the Nissan Altima was too much car for her at the pump and we were not sure if Fitzgerald could help us since we were upside down and he pulled through, even though the Altima was bought from Fitzgerald. We tried every car lot we could think of to help us and to no avail, until I went back in to Fitzgerald. I would recommend this dealership for anyone and I am pleased with Pablo's kindness, care and concern he has for each of his customers. He was there each step of the way and eager to help. Pablo is very considerate and if you are seeking a new car, used car or any car go to Pablo and he can help you to get the vehicle you are looking for, no matter your situation, he will try and help you out. I worked with James Verdier, who was very helpful. He was out on the lot taking pictures of new cars and i asked him if he was a salesman, He then dropped what he was doing and helped me immediately. I first came to meet James Verdier when my Nissan truck was being serviced at Fitzgerald Nissan in Chambersburg Pa. Entering the sales department to glance at the car magazines, a good way to pass the time...I was greeted by James. He had a friendly smile and politely asked if I needed help. I explained my business for being their that day and asked if he had a brochure on the new Nissan Rogue SUV. He went to his desk to get one and returned to say they were very popular now. About two weeks latter my wife and I drove both our current Nissan vehicles to the Fitzgerald and again were met by James, he even remembered me. He was very attentive to our questions on the possibility on trading in our cars for a new one. Then he went to work....he promptly had our cars brought around to a manager for assessment to determine the values for trade. The paperwork was initiated and shortly we were able to see the value amount for trade-in. During this waiting time, James was very personable~never pushy!! He sought outevery avenue to satisfy us with this "two-for-one trade." We now own a 2014 Nissan Rogue SL with many accessories. We actually went back to the dealer the next day and asked James to go over a few things~ AGAIN. Which he did without hesitation. James is a great young man who knows his stuff. He answered so many questions and freely gave us much information to help us make this decision. I live in Maryland and the car I wanted was in PA, so I started an internet chat to ask about whether or not I could get the car I wanted in MD. I never brought a new car before, I knew I wanted a Toyota I knew I was buying it from Fitz auto mall. When I walked into the place it was overwhelming with all the people that worked there. I now realize each person had a specific job. the first person to ask me "how may I help you" was mike white, he was so easy to talk to and i felt like i known him forever.he then had a sales person help me I never felt pressured and I felt like the boss, the customer service is outstanding. I had it set in my mind that I wanted a black corolla with black interior. we looked and test drove a few, but nothing like I wanted.it was looking like I would have to have it ordered. Mike white was looking into that for me, while I continue to walk around the lot. there it was sitting up front the car I wanted and the sale person seem surprised. it worked out fine for me and was very happy to find what I wanted, the chances were slim to none.......WAY TO GO FITZ!!!! Once again the customer service is outstanding in each department. that was in may of 2013 and have been back there for detailing, oil change, inspection. since then. each time treated with respect and kindness. mike white is a very patience man. I swear I must of ask him the same questions each time I go there and he answers them as if I was asking for the first time. I'm sorry I don't know everyone's name, but its easier to just say the whole building fill of workers are awesome, I love going in there and sometimes just stop to say hi because the atmosphere is very welcoming. I do know I would send people there and I speak very highly of the place when people ask me where I got the car!

Our car had high mileage we wanted to get a new car.When we called they were very nice and curtious on the phone. Pablo called us back to have us come down and test drive the car that we were interested in. We test drove two Nissan Frontiers. We picked the one that we wanted then Pablo proceeded to work on checking our credit. He then turned us over to Jeyln who explained the accessory package to us. we were hesitant on getting extras but she explained to us that we could add it into the price of the car. She also looked at helping us by saving us money because there was a package deal that had more then we wanted but the package price with the extra items turned out to be less money so we went with that package. she then took us to see the tonoe cover that we picked so we would have an itdea of what it looked like. She was very pleasant to deal with she was not pushy and we liked that. she then took us to Eric who worked with us on the final purchase of our new car. he explained all the extras we could get and explained the cost for it. he made our experience of buying a new car pleasurable. he sparked up conversation with our daughter which we thought was awesome. After being approved Eric turned us back to Pablo, who then took us back out to the car and explained the different features of the car, he even went as far as setting up our blue tooth's to the car. what an awesome experience. Due to the wonderful help and service we already are telling our family and friends all about your company. We would refer your company to everyone we know.

I have been to dozens of auto dealers in this area of the past 20 years. Things I personally hate at used-car dealerships:1. Overbearing sales people2. Price bartering3. False advertised vehicles, website shows a beautiful drivers side picture, no mention of damage, when you take the time to arrive at the dealership the passenger side is horrible.About 3 years ago, luck would have it that multiple vehicles I was interested in on-line were at Fitzgeral Auto Mall in Chambersburg, PA. The sales person left me alone after I informed him that I was "just looking." The multiple vehicles that I was there to look at were all in better condition than I had expected. Once I found the vehicle that I wanted, the salesman was extremely helpful, open and honest about any conditions, did not try and talk me into a more expensive vehicle, and had me driving away before they closed. For months after my purchase, I could not help but notice every similar vehicle at other dealerships that I drove by, and never noticed a single one that appeared to be a better deal that what I had received (wish I could say the same about the house that I purchased a year and a half ago :).About a month ago I began shopping for a third vehicle. I scoured dozens of dealer web-sites and visited about half a dozen dealerships in person. I remembered my experience at Fitzgerald, but did not want to limit myself, thinking maybe...there were other great places as well. Although there may be other great dealerships in the area, everyone that I visited had at least one of the items that I hated. Some specifics I encountered:1. I ask a sales person about the condition of a vehicle. They counter with "are you planning on financing..." They obviously were not interested in helping me find the vehicle I was interested in, just trying to project the maximum they can try and sell me up.2. Vehicles priced thousands above their Kelley Blue Book values.3. Vehicles with dents, bumpers falling off, etc... all not viewable from their web-site pictures.I would probably have more horror stories concerning the sales people, but I try to do my "stop and look" on Sundays when all the dealerships are closed. Apparently a lot of others are in the same boat as me as some of the dealers I went to during the week were busier on Sunday when I was there.I saved Fitzgerald for last in my search and arrived there at about 4:00pm yesterday. I had a few vehicles on my list, but as with 3 years ago, the first vehicle I looked at was in better condition than I expected. All the people involved in the sale were great. I was complete with the test drive, the sale, the vehicle was cleaned and fueled, all within 2 hours.Although I have had little time with the vehicle at this point, I plan to have my mechanic look at it and take it out for a true long test drive, it's a 4WD vehicle so not something that can be done with the "dealership test drive." With the Fitzgerald 5-day 250-mile guarantee, I do not have to stress and try to make a multi-year decision on just a couple of mile test-drive. I am fairly confident that this vehicle will pass my mechanics inspection with flying colors, as did the last vehicle I purchased from Fitzgerald. Just wanted to write this review before I forget. At this point, 2 vehicles purchased from Fitzgerald, a great experience both times.

Truly a team effort allowed us to have a great experience even with totting our 1 year old grandson along with us. All our questions were taken seriously and answered. Please do not go to this dealer if you have to finance through them. They told me multiple times they would not pull my credit and a few days later I started getting letters from banks about the loan I applied for. I called the dealer and asked what had happened and they fought with me and told me it was my fault for giving them the information they ask

This dealership is located approx 100 miles from our home so we did all of our communicating via email. Bought my first truck there and had a great buying experience. Tried to purchase a used truck there recently. The salesman I originally had left, and now I think I know why. The salesman I had this time was nice in email and was doing everything he could to get me into the truck I was looking at. It went sour when he started showing me prices of trucks that were not comparible to mine, talked down to me when it came to figures, and my overall knowledge of how businesses work. I don't go to a car dealership to be insulted, especially about finances, which is what I work in. Once I resisted, he was then quick to call upon his sales manager who was more rude than he. At the end of negotiations, the sales manager swore in front of my wife and I. Very unprofessional, do not have his full name, requested it through my salesman by email twice and have had both emails ignored. I will NOT be shopping at Fitzmall until that sales manager is removed, or possibly ever again.

This was my second used Toyota Prius purchase from Fitzgerald Chambersburg, which is about an hour drive for me. Everyone was very nice and responsive, but not too forward like most dealers. I did my research the night before I drove to the dealer and completed the loan application in advance online. I've been looking for a Nissan Rogue for months. I stopped by Fitzgerald's in Chambersburg before going to Hagerstown Nissan. Nathan handle the sale of my Altima from start to stop. He was standing outside near the front door when I drove up, since he does not smoke, I surmised he was hungry to sell me a car. He took me and my wife for a test-drive in the car we specifically asked for and answered all our questions. He was knowledgable, polite and teachable concerning the origins of the CVT transmission originally called the Dyna-Glide back in the mid-late 50's. Nathan took the abuse of salesmen that I am famous for and never got flustered. Corey Lawyer is very helpful and no pressure salesman. He cares about the product he sells and the customer experience. This dealer has no haggle policies, which I appreciate, even though we thought the car was somewhat overpriced. It was a rental car with almost 40000 miles on it. They also display the blue book values, as well as detailed records from the inspection process. My husband know cars, inside and out, and we shopped for a long time and many places before we bought a car here. I would not hesitate to recommend purchasing here. When we found some things wrong with the car, after a week, the sales manager Josh told us it would be made right. This is also appreciated.

I liked his easy manner and he was very knowledgeable about the Rav4. The color that I liked wasn't on the lot then, but he called about a week later to tell me they had gotten the color in that I wanted. The timing was off for us at that point because of a trip that we had scheduled. Then in late Dec. we were ready to do serious shopping and I made a point to talk with Pat. We test drove and I absolutely loved the Rav4! So we went in and began the paper work. Pat again was very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. We qualified for the financing we were looking for so it was a go! We then worked with Eric Herzog a finance manager and he was just great to work with too. Asking us questions and then telling us different options that would benefit us. Very nice and personable! The whole process from start to finish was such a positive experence for me and my husband. This is the 5th vehicle that my family has bought from Fitzgerald but the first time that I picked out a vehicle for me. A brand new vehicle. My wife and I purchased a new Toyota from this dealership 18 months ago. We have received nothing but top notch service. I was very interested in test driving a hybrid car. John Donzella was very helpful and explained the differences between a gas engine car and a hybrid. I test drove the car and was impressed. I went home and did additional research. Consumer Reports rates the XLE hybrid as the number one hybrid bar none. I purchased the vehicle a week later. I am very pleased with the overall performance of the vehicle. I am actually getting better mileage than posted. Fitzgerald makes it easy to buy. No price negotiating back and forth. The sales people are paid on how they treat the customer, not on the best price they can get. Great concept.

Most important to me is that I would recommend Mike Bockstie. A large purchase for this single (widow) woman. A type of purchase I have not made on my own in over many a year. Mike made me comfortable, was extremely easy to talk to and made the overall experience on December 24th most enjoyable. My wife and I called in advance; Made sure they had the car advertised at the price advertised; We then showed up at the dealership, went over some options (which we declined without pressure from Nathan or his team), and left with our new Prius. I called in to the dealership on Friday evening, around 6pm, to let them know that we were coming down to buy a car (we live in the Lock Haven, PA area). I told them what we were looking for. When we arrived around 8:30pm, they had cars already together for us to look at and test drive. They stayed until 11pm to get the paperwork done and send us off on our way. My husband and I can't say enough about about our "salesman", Daniel Gaither! I put that in quotes because Daniel never presented himself as a "salesman" to us, or at least not in the often derogatory use of the word. Often very skeptical of car salesman, it didn't take but a few minutes of talking to Daniel and you can tell he is a very honest and genuine person. He put us so much at ease that I know we would come back to this dealership in the future, not as much because we are diehard Toyota Nissan fans, but because dealing with a person with honesty and integrity IS important to us! We also know from prior experience that Eric Herzog feels the same way we do about the importance of honesty and that experience is what brought us back to Fitzgerald to look for a vehicle this time... although we did go to several other dealerships and spoke to several other salesman at those dealerships before deciding on purchasing a vehicle this time, our experience with Daniel solidified our decision to buy from Fitzgerald. We went to the dealership to test drive a used vehicle. The sales associate, Daniel Gaither, greeted us and allowed us to test drive the vehicle with no pressure. This was the first time my son was purchasing a vehicle. Mr. Gaither was patient with my son and made him feel appreciate. We brought his mother back a couple days later to test drive the vehicle again. Mr. Gaither showed us several used vehicles and some new vehicles. He showed my son that he could have a new vehicle for just a couple thousand more than he would be paying for the used vehicle. Mr. Gaither was very patient with my son and treated him like an adult even though he is young. Mr. Gaither is the reason my son was able to purchase his first new vehicle. The finance manager, Eric Sheffer, made us feel very relaxed. He dealt with us on a personal level and didn't make it just a business transaction. We were getting ready to go on a family vacation and would be able to complete the purchase transaction for a week. Mr. Sheffer worked everything out and had all of the paperwork completed for our return. This made the transaction very smooth. His willingness to delay the purchase transaction was very appreciated. He also made the transaction seamless by matching the APR of the bank where my son was pre-approved. The scariest moment for me was the financial situation and amoutn of financial information, but that fear was easily calmed once they took as much time as I needed to understand it all.

My husband and I stopped in late 8/17/12 looking for a new 2012 Corolla. Nathan Kipley was very helpful with assisting us. He showed us a book of the choices. The color we wanted was not on the lot so he went to Mike White for a solution. They both started searching other dealerships for the one we wanted. On Saturday morning I received a call from Mike stating our vehicle had been located and he would go for it first thing Monday morning. Later on Monday he made us aware that it was on the lot and ready to see. My husband made arrangements for us to come up on Wednesday and complete the paperwork. He arrived 30 minutes before I did. I came over from work and Eric had completed all the paperwork except for my signature. I returned back to work quickly driving Momma's new car. LOL They were very prompt and friendly. Nathan even setup my bluetooth before I left. This is our third new Corolla from Fitzgerald and we could not be more satisified. Thank you guys. Your the greatest!!

We were looking for another vehicle. I recommended looking at a Scion FR-S. My girlfriend liked the looks of the Scion tc. We stopped at Fitzgerald to look at the Scion tc, only to find out, they sold that particular vehicle. They had a 2012 Scion tc on the used car lot, but it was a manual transmission. Deborah wanted an automatic transmission. Mike showed us other vehicles, but she had her mind set on a Scion tc automatic. Mike worked very hard to find one for us. Mike called us, and we came in for a test drive. Deborah was hooked on this vehicle. Everybody at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. We are very happy with vehicle. Thank you very much.

My husband & I first learned about Fitzgerald in May of 2003. We visited them and purchased our first new Toyota from them. In the next 9 years, we have purchased 4 additional used vehicles (not all Toyotas). We have always been impressed with the service and quailty of the dealership. They do an overall check of all their used vehicles. We have never had problems with any of the 4 used vehicles. The employees are very friendly and make car buying very enjoyable. They never pressure you into anything. They don't use scare tactics to get you to buy from them. We have recommended them to two friends who have also purchased vehicles from them. In regards to the vehicle we just purchased, Pat Lindsay kept us informed of what was going on while the did their "check" of the vehicle. He let us know what they needed to fix and when we could test drive it. Eric Sheffer made the financing process very painless and comfortable. We will continue to purchase our vehicles from Fitzgerald becuse it is nice to find a dealership that you feel comfortable talking to and trust.

This dealership is honest and provides prices up front with no hidden costs or surprises. We did not feel pressured into buying. However, after checking around all dealerships within an hour and a half from us, FitzMall was by far the best price! Brad, sales employee was very prompt answering all email correspondents before making the 6 hour round trip drive. He went out of his way to provide excellent customer service. Andy, in the finance dept. was pleasant to also work with! He did not pressure us into additional warranties, etc. but did make us aware of each that were offered.

What a pleasant experience!!! My son and I were looking to purchase a Nissan Sentra and had looked at several dealers including one in our home town just 5 minutes away. I decided to look at the Fitzmall Web site and was happy to see that they had a Nissan dealer in Chambersburg, PA. After looking on the web site I sent an email for the dealer to contact me. I was contacted by Mr. Pablo Pagan and he confirmed the information and pricing. We made the trip the next day to meet with Mr. Pagan. Once we met, I found him to be very easygoing and attentive to our needs. He showed us several cars that were available and within our budget. I decided to buy from him that day and we drove away with the car the same day. There was no pushy attitude and no attempt to pressure us into a different vehicle as other dealers had tried. Even though we were buying an entry level automobile we were treated with respect. I can honestly say that I will recommend your dealership to friends and relatives. Well, if only I could give these 4 employees a higher number than a 5; they were awesome! Our experience at Fitzgerald was wonderful. My husband and I were in the market for two new cars and had done our homework regarding what we wanted and what we wanted to pay. We finally walked into Fitzgerald and they managed to give us everything we wanted. Daniel was so nice; the best salesperson I have ever come across. Everyone was very accommodating and made us feel like they didn't need to be anywhere but there to help us with the process of buying our cars, no matter what the time or how late it got! We were shopping for a car for about a week solid. I'm sure we test drove about 25 cars/crossovers. We went to younger toyota in Hagerstown and I couldn't deal there. So a friend told my about the dealership. When we drove up to the dealership we were expecting a heard of salesman running out into the parking lot. That was not the case. They actually gave us about 10 minutes to look around. (total shock) There were two venza that we were interested in so Daniel pulled them both up to the showroom. We took one for a test driver expecting him to be in the back of the car telling us which route we had to go.... Not the case, when we questioned him about this he told us that he had my license and the trade in as long as we were back by closing. We were totally shocked because when we test drove in Maryland we had a "guide" and a route that had to be followed. As we were test driving the car he we getting a appraisel on the trade in. Daniel was always two steps ahead of the game. After signing all the financing papers he took us out to the car and showed us how everything worked. Daniel told us if we had any questions after we got home not to hestiate to call him. If he didn't know the answer he would find the answer for us. He was a great pleasure to deal with and had a great personnality. We would recommend him to any of our friend or family. Oh by the way the car was a great bonus too..Thanks Beth

The dealer was incredibly fairly priced. I was able to get an "out the door" price emailed to me within a couple hours of submitting my request, even though I was from out of state (so not their usual tax, title, and licensing procedure).Their hours (9-9) gave me plenty of flexibility to come by. The staff were all super-nice and friendly without being pushy at all. Overall it was a great experience and I would totally recommend them to friends and family despite being a couple hours away. Yes, their price was THAT good.

I bought a car 5 days ago and was not delivered due to that the door power locks needed to be repaired/replaced. The car was promised to be delivered the next day (Friday), I received a call the next day explaining that the part had not arrived and that the car would be ready the next day (Saturday). Saturday I received a call that the part did not arrive but the car would be ready Monday. Monday I received another call (different rep) stating that the car is not ready due to that the part did not arrive and the car will be ready tomorrow (Tuesday). It is Tuesday and I just an email asking at what time the car will be ready since I have not received any calls today.

Went to Fitzgerald Toyota in Chambersburg, PA because they're local. Had a very poor experience. The salesperson (Eric) was unable to answer my questions, kept running away from his desk to "look for things", and wanted me to buy a different type of truck than what I wanted. Finally he told me he'd call me in a week and he'd have what I was looking for in stock. That was one month ago - no phone call; no follow-up. I bought my truck from a different Toyota dealership.

I called and talked to Pablo concerning a used pickup. We setup a time to meet him at the dealership, and he was very friendly and made the truck buying experience an enjoyable one for my wife and I. He and Josh (sales manager) worked up a deal for a trade in for our truck. Never once did they comment about any negative things concerning our trade in, which a lot of times car salesman will say why the vehicle one is trading is not of great value. Pablo and Josh's first price was not quite where we wanted to be. I told them what I was expecting, and sure enough they worked with us on the price; and we made a deal. This is our second time of purchasing from Fitzgerald in Chambersburg, and both times have been pleasant. I highly recommend Pablo and Josh for a pleasant car buying experience.

Great overall experience with Chambersburg Fitzgerald. I was already stressed about having to buy a car, but Terry made it very easy for me. He was very helpful, friendly and made me feel at ease, even cracking little jokes (Fat guy in a little car), love it!!!!However, after my great experience with Chambersburg location. I had a not so great experience with the Frederick location. They called to make sure I made out ok, and when I asked about my tags, I was transferred to three different people and 30 minutes into the conversation, after being cut off numerous time. I finally was told they were being sent to my house. They really should be on top of their game.

My overall experience with Fitzgerald Toyota was exceptional. The process was very straightforward. No bull such as "What will it take to put you in this car today?" The internet price was not sullied with additional fees, etc. My only disappointment was that neither Terry or his manager knew that replacing the donut spare with a full-size tire was a legitimate option. However, other than that and a bit of delay in the paperwork, I was very satisfied with the purchase procedure. I would definitely recommend this dealer to potential buyers. I admit I was ready to pursue a purchase in Harrisburg and was pleasently surprised to find I could buy locally at a great price.By the way, I have had one knee and two hip operations in the last year and had not driven in two years. I am now back to driving and find my new Camry a complete joy to handle. Toyota has done it again. (This is my eighth Camry and my tenth Toyota. I started with a Tercel.)

I purchased a 2010 Nissan Altima from Fitzgerald Nissan and salesman Terry McLeod in November 2010. We had such a great experience and we were so impressed with Terry and the team at Fitzgerald Nissan that we decided to buy another Nissan Altima for my wife on April 29, 2011. I live in York, PA, about an hour and a half away (80 miles) from Fitzgerald Nissan, which is located in Chambersburg, PA. Terry was able to do all of the negotiating over the telephone, with an off-site appraisal, credit approval, etc. When we arrived at Fitzgerald to pick up our new 2011 Nissan Altima, Terry had all the paperwork ready to go and the car was spotless. He explained everything to us and filled the car up with gas. He even bought me a soda! Derek Mann, the finance guy was very low-pressure. He explained the various extended warranties to us in language that we could understand and he did not get upset when we told him we were not interested. We were also very excited about the low prices that Fitzgerald offers. They focus on sales volume and are able to offer lower prices than any local competitor we could fine. This does not take away from the quality of the service offered. In fact, this is by far the best service I've ever had at a car dealership. My wife and I previously drove a Honda and GM vehicles, respectively, but now we're Nissan fans for life. We'll never deal with another car car dealer now that we've found Terry McLeod and Fitzgerald Nissan.

I went to look at a new Titan and ended up buying it the same day. There was no kind of buying pressure what so ever. And whe I did purchase it I was in and out in 2 hours. The staff was extremely friendly and did everything for you that you needed. The price of the Titan was $4000 cheaper than another Nissan dealer where I live closer to. So the 25 mile drive to Fitzgerald was well worth the trip. I recommeneded this dealer to my family and all my friends.

My husband and I were in the market for a Nissan Frontier and found exactly what we were looking for and the price we wanted at Fitzgerald. Our vehicle buying experience was the best we have ever had because of two employees who did everything they could to make sure our experience was a pleasant one. Our salesman was Jesse Lee and he was so friendly and helpful. We werent able to get to the dealership until after 7pm and even though closing time was soon approaching he was very patient about our indecisiviness on choosing a new or used vehicle. By time we had chosen our vehicle it was 9pm, closing time. My husband and I would have gladly come back the next day to finalize the sale, but he and Derek Mann GRACIOUSLY stayed until almost 10pm to finalize our sale so we could drive home with our truck the same night because we were coming from Gettysburg and they wanted to save us time. Both men were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure our vehicle buying experience was a good one. We truly appreciate those two men staying behind that night to finalize our purchase so that we didn't have to come back the next day. They weren't in a hurry to get home even though they had already put in a 12 hour day. It's nice to know there are still people out there like Jesse and Derek who will treat you with respect and go out of their way for you. We will absoultely recommend this dealership to anyone we know interested in buying a vehicle and send them Jesse and Derek's way! My husband and I have purchased many cars and never ever been treated so well from start to finish.The minute we drove into the lot we were treated with respect. Shortly after arriving in the parking lot there was Brian asking if he could help us. We were looking for a used Nissan Frontier/4 X 4, etc.I was amazed at how many Nissan trucks in great shape to pick from. Brian went to pick up some keys so we could drive 3 out of the 5; which I thought was great so we didn't have to wait for him to go back and forth inside to get other keys.My husband picked out a truck to test drive and decided he loved it.Once inside we were offered drinks and even pop corn. Pop corn is a fantastic thing to give children to occupy them while the parents are signing papers etc.It did not take long after that to get all the paperwork taken care of. Then Brian walked us over to Derek for the financial end.Derek was great to work with. Very cordial and also treated us with respect.Everyone we had come into contact at your dealership were extremely friendly.The funny part, which wasn't at the time, we had just left a dealership up the road from yours. We were already to sign the papers for a Nissan/Frontier 4x4 but were kept waiting one hour after we had told them we would be there at precisely 5:00 p.m.My husband talked to the sales manager that we had been waiting an hour and the sales manager then told my husband that you kept us waiting an hour last night! It took my husband longer to get home that night from VA where he works then the trafic was bad on Rt 30.Needless to say, this did not set well with us. These guys are the greatest bunch of guys to work with! With no exceptions! When I stopped by to check to see if they had a 2011 Prius in stock, it was the best decision I had made in a new car purchase. I had previously ordered a Prius from a local dealer where I live and the had quoted me the MSRP with no exceptions. I walked in and talked with Brad Newman and right off the bat they gave me a better price and the color that I wanted without hesitation. That just reminded me of why I had been a customer of Fitzgerald for 20 years now. This is my 6th vehicle I have bought from the auto group, it was so relaxed and easy going with no pressure. The other dealership I was at had a great sales person but the sales manager was the "typical car salesman". He hid in a room and when I tried to talk with him he only made a brief comment and went back to his room. But not at Fitzgerald, John Hammond was very open with me showed me some things about the current availability of the Prius, due to the tragedy in Japan. John was great and easy to talk to and very accessible which is hard to find at some car dealers. Also Eric Hammond in finance was also very easy to talk too and I got the straight answers. Everyone at the dealership made me feel at home again and realized exactly why I have been coming back to Fitzgerald for so many years and will continue in the future. I want to say that the reason I didn't go to them in the first place is that I had moved away from the area and they are 40 miles away now. But I happened to be in the area and stopped by and it's the best decision I made. I want to say that if you go to them you won't be disappointed, this is the best group of people to deal with that I have ever met. Trust me I have been to allot of dealerships, my Father trades every 1 1/2 years and lives down south, I've been with him on numerous deals and we go from dealership to dealership. Thanks Guy! Mike was awesome, he and the business manager worked their magic to get a deal that worked for us. When Mike brought around the car for me to test drive, he went out of his way to make sure my favorite radio station was playing. It was a small gesture, but it went a long way since he went out of his way and remembered that I like the station. The dealership made sure the car was clean and ready for me to drive home. Mike even sat in the car and had a laugh with me while setting up the bluetooth controls in the car. Good times

My Wife and i decided to get a new car and looked at prices at both Fitzgerald and at another dealer that my wife had purchased a car prior to this sale. The prices at the other dealer were as much as 5000 dollars higher than Fitzgerald, plus their sales person where just plain rude and pushing. Pablo and Eric were both great and very easy to work with and laid out all our options for us and did not apply any pressure either way for a sale.

I had an '02 Buick Rendezvous (which I traded in) that blew a head gasket so I was in desperate need of a new car. I shopped around Chambersburg a little bit, and the last place I looked was at Fitzgerald! Marty Manning came out to talk to me and I told him what I was interested in buying. He showed me a 2007 Pontiac G6 that was in the shop being worked on because it was just traded in. I fell in love with the car. The next day I drove back up to Chambersburg and test drove it with my friend. I loved it even more! Even though I knew I was getting the '07 G6, I looked on fitzmall.com to search their inventory. The site was extremely easy to navigate. Marty did everything he could to make this sale go smoothly. He was very dedicated. I kept in contact with him throughout the week via email and phone calls. When I found a co-signer for my loan, Marty submitted the credit application and we were up there the following morning to sign paperwork! While we were waiting for Derek Mann to get all of the papers ready, Marty gave me a tour and introduced me to the employees that I would need to talk to if I ever encountered a problem. It took about 20 minutes to sign the papers and I was out the door in my G6! Derek was very thorough in explaining the different papers I had to sign. This was my first dealership experience and I must say, it was wonderful! Their customer service is amazing! Thank you for everything!!

I found the Fitzgerald dealerships through the internet and was initially attracted by the price and no-haggle process. The purchase process was painless. No hassles, no tricks, no add-on extras.I tried to work with a local Ohio dealer who was able to get somewhat close on price, but they still tried some add-on tricks. In the end I was not comfortable with how I was treated.There were no tricks at Fitzgerald and it was worth the drive from Ohio to PA to pick the truck up. Terry was extremely helpful and patient with my requests. The entire process was very smooth without any headaches or surprises.The prices are great, but the service and atmosphere are even better. This is by far the best car buying experience I have ever had.

I can tell you as a salesman myself that I have never had a better experience buying a car then this one. Terry was the best and went over what I normal salesman would have to do. Everyone I worked with provided excellent customer service, my husband and I felt very comfortable at the dealer ship. I hate dealing with all the paperwork and back and forth when purchasing a new car, but purchasing my new Rogue was a good experience. We were introduced to several people involved in the purchase and all were very friendly. Options were explained by the accessory manager and the finance manager, never did I feel pressured. My husband and I went into Fitzgerald Toyota this past Saturday looking for a specific car. What struck me immediately was the laid back atmosphere of the dealership. I always expect to be immediately pressured when visiting a dealership - that was not the case at Fitzgerald. We spoke with Pablo Pagan, one of the salesmen. Pablo was incredibly friendly, genuine and receptive to our needs. He did not pressure us in any way to buy. My husband and I are expecting our first child in May, and we had a relatively low budget in mind for our purchase. I was worried that we would be pressured into something much more expensive, but that was not the case at all. Pable spent time looking for the car we thought we wanted, and in the price range we specified. After discussing it with him, we ended up looking at a different Toyota model than we had planned on. He was more than understanding when we decided that we needed a couple of days to discuss the purchase, and graciously offered to check on a few things before we returned. When we went back the following Monday, everything was ready to go. While we ultimately purchased a different vehicle than we had planned on, it was perfect for us. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. I highly reccommend this dealership, and Pablo specifically. I will definitely return to Fitzgerald Toyota when we need to purchase another car.

I had been seeking a Juke in specific color and pkg, The vehicle is very new, so availability involved some wait-time. I worked with 3 different dealerships, but the other two quickly lost interest when it became clear I wasn't going to buy whatever Juke was on their lot and give them a quick sale/commission. I knew of Mike Bockstie as someone who attended my church although I didn't know him at the time of purchase. Mike is doesn't try to sell me something I can't afford and don't want. He listens and suggests, bu ultimately let's us make the decision. No high pressure, however he knows his products inside and out. We've bought new and used from Mike.The service department has been very cordial even when we just had a question. Sometimes we used the service dep't and sometimes we didn't need to, yet we were met with courtesy nontheless with Mike's assistance and willingness to step out of the sales zone and into the service area.Through our experience with Mike, he has become a friend and we have recommended several other's to go to Fitzgerald Auto Mall and search out Mike. In particular, Mr. Josh Wolfe was very helpful in helping me find a vehicle that was within my price range without being pushy or trying to get me to buy additional options I really didn't need. He was assertive without being rude and provided me with several options I could afford. I compared other car dealerships in the area and found many of the salespeople were only concerned with how much money they could get out of me, constantly trying to get me to "upgrade". Josh listened to my situation and then tried to find the best available options on the lot. At no time did he attempt to push me to buy something I could not afford or try to tack on additional charges for unneeded upgrades. Fitzgerald's website was a valuable, time-saving tool for me. With the use of their website, I was able to check out their inventory, compare prices, models, options, and narrow down the vehicles I was interested in before going to the dealership. The two used models I wanted to take for a test drive were Hyundai Santa Fe and Nissan Rogue. Both Mike Bockstie and Marty Manning had excellent knowledge about each vehicle. They were very pleasant, personable, accommodating, and patient. The Nissan Rogue didn't give me the best visibility; I didn't even test drive it. I drove the Hyundai Santa Fe and it was much better. My friend has a RAV4 so I asked just to "sit" in it. No problem!! (See the patience thing??) Mike suggested a test drive; Marty went along to answer all my questions. Five minutes into the test drive I knew it was the vehicle with the best fit for me.

Terry and Wendell were absolutely fantastic! I was dealing with Terry for a week or so via email regarding a 2011 Rogue. Terry answered every question I had and more. He was very professional and yet still seemed to be a friend I was emailing. I never hesitated to shoot him an email with a question or change of plans. I did get to Fitzgerald about 20 minutes early from the time I told Terry I would be there and he was busy with another customer. Wendell was able to take over and helped me test drive the Rogue I was looking for and then helped me through all the paperwork so I could purchase it and drive it home.I recommend Terry, Wendell and Fitzgerald. I chose to stop at this dealership on a whim. I was in the area to look at another vehicle. I was looking for a reliable used vehicle for my teenage daughter. Brad is who I spoke with. He was rude at best to begin with. He mentioned there were 2 cars in my price range but wasn't sure if the Acura was still available. After asking numerous people who had no idea he eventually came back and said it wasn't. My brother who is a master mechanic looked over a Saturn they had for sale. I was pleased with the vehicle and went inside to discuss the purchase. Brad insisted they do not haggle on the price. When he walked away my brother told me that I should offer them a little less than the purchase price due to some repairs that did need to be made. There was a check engine light on and my brother knew what needed fixed. Brad overheard him and rudely told him that they do not negotiate price and they could sell this car today or tommorow that they did not need to negotiate a price. This conversation was not with him and his rudeness was unacceptable. I told him that he could then try and sell it to someone else. He quickly snatched up the carfax and the keys and rudely said something under his breath. I would never go to the dealership again. He obviously did not want to make a sale even when he knew I had cash in hand and was interested in purchasing the vehicle. I have never encountered such a rude salesman in my life. It was a very upsetting experience.

I drove 200 miles from southern NJ to purchase a new 2010 Toyota RAV4 from Fitzgerald Chambersburg Toyota (Fitz Toyota) in late August 2010. From the initial contact, my salesman Terry McLeod was honest, efficient, and timely in providing me with information and service that made the 400-mile round trip worthwhile. The vehicle price, description, and fees were exactly as described on Fitzmall web site. Overall, I saved more than $1,000 after the cost of the trip vs. buying local (and not having to deal with a bunch of arrogant jerks and con artists at my local Toyota dealer).I felt no pressure at Fitz Toyota. Terry McLeod just presented me all the numbers and relevant info that I requested, then waiting patiently for me to make the decision. The finance manager offered me financing and extended warranty, but once I said "no", the issue was dropped and never mentioned again. I'm a research engineer so I really don't like games and non-sense (as I feel it's an insult to my intelligence and a waste of my time). I was in and out with my new car in about 2 hrs. including test drive. It's a refreshing experience at Fitz Toyota.But what I impressed the most was the post-sale service from Terry McLeod. When I registered my car at local NJ DMV, a new form was required to determine additional tax for luxury and fuel inefficient vehicles (more than $40,000 and less than 18 mpg). I e-mailed Terry the NJ form, and the next day it's was filled and faxed to my local DMV for my title and registration. Terry McLeod and Fitz Toyota didn't drop the ball even after they already got my money and I were 200 miles away. Now to me that are the integrity and service that should be praised and rewarded.

This dealership had the lowest price we could find for the car we wanted. The other 5 star ratings are for Terry McLeod who was very friendly and went above and beyond for us as customers. As for the dealership, they get the lower marks because they need to work on their policy for cleaning used vehicles. We also had some paperwork issues after the sale was completed which was an inconvenience, but overall it was a good experience.

My wife and I were able to test drive the vehicle model that we were interested in purchasing. Although they did not have the options we wanted in a vehicle nor could find one I was able to special order it exactly equipped as we wanted. Only took about 6 weeks till delivery. No pressure on sales and in my experience they give the best price overall. I am a repeat customer and as long as Fitzgerald's operate as is I will continue to be a loyal customer. Bottom line - I was buying a Toyota Camry, basicially the equivalent of an appliance on wheels. Not much different than a candy bar, you can buy a Toyota Camry LE just about anywhere (I'm surprised Walmart doesn't carry them). Therefore, the only two things that mattered were 1.) Price 2.) The least amount of time/B.S. when purchasing the car. John Hammond at Fitzgerald Chambersburg delivered on these goals. Since Fitzgerald Toyota is 2 1/2 hours from Pittsburgh, we determined locally the color and any options. In all fairness, I gave that local dealership a chance to match Fitxgerald's price, which they couldn't come close. Nor could 10 other dealers I solicited. Some didn't even believe the price I was getting at Fitzgerald's, saying "something must be wrong". No, nothing was wrong. Fitzgerald's price was approx. $1,400 less on average. The closest a local dealer could come was $1,200 more. I don't know about you, but saving $1,200 is well worth a 2 1/2 hour drive in my book (5 hours both ways). Finance approval was completed via the website, and John helped answer any questions via phone. We showed up with license + insurance information and signed papers. Within an hour or so we were on our way. Car was detailed with a full tank of gas and ready to go upon arrival. I even had them make sure the air pressure was perfect in the tires, due to a 140 mile trip home. They did so immediately. I have bought many new cars over the years (mostly helping family/friends), and I would not hesitate to recommend Fitzgerald Chamberburg Toyota.

I had been searching for a Malibu for several months and would either come up with models that had been sold that were not taken off the dealer's website, no return calls for placed internet inquiries, or cars that looked great online but not so much when I went to test drive them.I stopped in at Fitzgerald on one of my day's off work and they had a beautiful 2010 still available. Terry was my salesperson and he was AWESOME! He was more than helpful and made me feel at ease right away. The whole process took approximately 3 hours from start to finish, and when I wrote the check to purchase the vehicle, there was not a time that I felt any buyers'remorse. The whole team made me feel super comfortable and made sure I was completely satisfied by the time I walked out the door. Terry has checked in several times just to make sure that I am still completely satisfied with the vehicle.I have since visited the service department to have window visors installed as well as some other work, and I was taken care of very well from check in until the time I picked up my car (which was washed and swept out.) I would definitely recommend Fitzgerald to anyone looking to buy a new or used car.

I went in very leery of all salesmen, considering I'm a woman. From the first moment meeting Kevin, my salesmen, I was treating with nothing more then complete respect. Due to my personal circumstances,(no credit) I truly felt there was nothing that could be done for me. I believed that I would be simply told no, it wasn't going to happen for me getting my own car. Terry was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions regarding a 2011 Versa Hatchback. Terry responded to all of my inquiries in a timely manner, all through email, which is easiest for me. I test drove the base model and later asked to drive the model with the CVT transmission and Terry immediately got the keys to a model to drive. I did not feel like he was frustrated by my late request. Terry also asked for followup after I had my vehicle for a few days, to ask how it was handling and how I was doing with the car, which I appreciated and realize that Terry cares as much for the customers happiness in the car as well as the outstanding product that Nissan puts on the road. Five day/250 mile money back garrantee if you're not satisfied. Better used car standard warranty than most used car lots(45 days/1250 miles). Straight forward on answers to all questions asked. Paperwork backed up claims of vehicle maintenance done. All-in-all, a must visit when shopping for your next vehicle.

I would especially like to acknowledge Wendell Fletcher, my sales associate, He kept me informed either by email or phone call (this was an out of state purchase) and I felt he went above and beyond to make sure my buying process went smoothly. Al is an Exceptionally Polite Gentleman & was a pleasure to communicate & Deal with.He was very candid & Honest in the entire Buying Process. His communication was quick, pro-active & To the point. He even got me the GM of the facility over phone to finalize he deal. This positive interaction made me drive 100 miles to purchase from Fitzmall, when I could purchase the same vehicle locally for a similar price. (Final Price paid ( OTD) was a few dollars over what was committed, but not significant, so No issues/Complaints about it, Will give them the benefit of doubt)I am considering their Buyer Protection Plan on Al's recommendation. Fitz Mall have a very satisfied & a new Loyal customer & perhaps a Repeat Buy is in store in the very near future. Over all Full 5 Stars To Al & Team, Plus Two Thumbs up to FitzMall. Our car buying experience at Fitzgerald was very satisfying. We recently purchased a 2010 Hyundai Elantra blue through the Chambersburg location. I believe we may have been one of the first people to purchase one. Even though your Chambersburg location does not sell Hyundai, we were able to go through Al Depaolo who walked us through the buying step by step. Al is a personal friend of mine and he went the extra distance, literally, to see to it that we got the car we wanted...when we needed it. We filled in the online credit application. My wife went to the dealership to sign the papers in the morning. Al went to Gaithersburg on a delivery and he was to bring the car back up with him. That's when the situation got a little "sticky." When Al got to Gaithersburg he realized a mistake had been made when he found out that the car was not actually at Gaithersburg. It was on order and still on its way to your showroom. Al knew I needed the car by Friday of that week. He called me and said that they would have one driven up from a dealer in Richmond. I said, okay, thanks. Al called back a little later and said that the car from Richmond was damaged as it was driven out of the showroom. It would not be coming. I said, now what. His response was, Im working on it, and hung up. He called me back later and said that he would have my car in Chambersburg by 5:30 pm. Al actually arranged to get the car that I test drove from another dealer in Chambersburg the day before. He really went the extra mile to help us out. He answered every question and even helped us out with the arrangements for financing. Al drove the car to my church and after choir practice, we sat in the church and finished the paperwork around 10:00 pm. It was long after quitting time, but Al didn't quit until the deal was done. I appreciate his professionalism, persistence and most importantly, his friendship.

This is the second vehicle that I have bought from Fitzgerald in Chambersburg. From the sales staff to the credit department, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are very willing to work with you in any and every way. I also like the ability to search for your vehicle via their website and they have it available when you get to the dealer. The no haggle dealing is great to deal with as well.

We've purchased two vehicles from this dealer. We love Toyota. But it seems the sales people are not well trained at this dealership. If you need help getting information, it's spotty at best. If you're sitting on the fence about a vehicle, don't count on your salesman offering any information regarding stock or availability to help you decide one way or another...expect that the vehicle will be sold without prior warning. So if you have the time and the patience, I'll relay my story: We were shown and were very seriously considering a new, on order, vehicle. We were not encouraged to put a deposit on the vehicle. We were not lead to believe there was a possibility that demand would be greater than supply. We wanted $600 more for our trade-in (we traded a qualifying clunker plus a non-cluncker car) and while we waited (three days)for our salesman to let us know if he could get more for our trade, the only new LE was sold. It was sold and we lost our "Cash for Clunkers" deal. We were told that we could put a deposit on the next order, it should arrive in three weeks. Then Cash for Cluckers ended. As soon as we knew the incentives would end, we tried other dealerships, but it was only 2 days before "clunkers" ended...all inventory had been sold out (at Younger Hagerstown just the night before). So we foolishly went back to Fitz. We were shown a very nice used vehicle but found out two days later that it was already sold....someone forgot to take it out of inventory. The only LE left was an abused rental. Ready to take our deposit back and run, we searched for another option. Similar vehicles were at least $1000 more, so we settled on the abused 2008, hoping the abuse was only superficial and not mechanical. Still not happy with this option, we found another like it on another Fitzgerald lot. Hoping it was in better condition than the one in Chambersburg, we asked our Chambersburg salesperson to find out availability and condition. After more than 3 hours of waiting, I called the sister lot myself and got the info within 15 minutes. Fitgerald Chambersburg has very inexperienced, untrained salespeople...still learning how to provide customer service. So Fitzgerald cleaned up the 2008 and we took it home. It was the least expensive 2008 model we could find within 100 miles but we got what we paid for. Fitz did great at touching up the paint and removing dents. I'm learning to live with the interior scrapes and scratches. I'm still trying to get out the weird smell and the gummy bears stuck in the cracks. I'm ignoring the little engine tap that's presenting itself...it's probably just nerves.So if you want a rock bottom price, no haggling (and they mean it!!!) and this dealership has exactly what you want on the lot...shop here. If you want to get the best vehicle possible and think you can haggle a little, I highly recommend going to another dealership altogether.I don't blame the guy how worked with us. He needs sales training. Fitz need to provide it, and a better system of relaying information to their customers.My other vehicle was also purchased at Fitz. I had it serviced there a couple of times. I prefer to take it to Younger Hagerstown for service--top notch!

After a long not so happy relationsip with my Plymouth van, I found a used Toyota at a great price. Josh was helpful, knowledgeable and I will buy here again. Don't go looking for a car with your stomach in knots. Fitzgerald's will take great care of you! They had the car I was interested in pulled out for us to see to keep us from having to walk around with kids. They gave me a loaner when they were detailing the vehicle and my Plymouth died! Find that somewhere else. These people are smokin' and doing great business. I came to Fitzgerald from a recommendation of a person I work with who has purchased multiple vehicles from different Fitzgerald Dealerships. I don't think you can go wrong with these folks whichever dealership you shop at!

Not only was the price good, but this was also the easiest and friendliest experience that I had buying a vechicle. There wasn't any pressure to pay for any extras. The trade in value was what I expected. Everything was well explained, Car fax was provided and a service record of the car. I will definitely recommend Fitzgerald and return for my next car. I picked up my new Nissan Rogue last night from Fitzgerald Auto Mall! I wanted to congratulate the entire dealership on wonderful business practices and superb customer service. This is the first new car I have ever bought which is something that I took very seriously and spent a lot of energy researching and visiting multiple dealerships. This dealership was hands down the most pleasant to work with and hosted the most comfortable environment out of the ones I had recently visited. Jim Dotson was our salesman who ultimately helped my boyfriend and I decide on the Nissan Rogue as apposed to another vehicle I was considering. Jim was very patient with me and knowledgeable about both vehicles I was considering. He answered all of my questions and never made me feel pressured. When I asked him his opinion he was very democratic and positive in his suggestions. Jim made us feel very comfortable and absolutely aided in our decision to purchase a vehicle through Fitzgerald. Derek Mann helped us to finalize the terms of the loan and paid careful attention to our needs and even though it was very late and we were keeping him from his baby boy, he took his time showing us multiple scenarios to help us make the best financing decision for us. Even though Fitzgerald Auto Mall is a cool 2 hour drive from where we live, I fully intend to come back to this dealership when it is time to purchase my next vehicle . Even observing other customer interaction I noticed how genuine and friendly everyone at the dealership was. The price was as good as we saw anywhere but of course it could always be better and I would have loved to have been offered some refreshments like water or coffee while we were filling out the paperwork. All in all the car buying experience that I had at Fitzgerald was great and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a relaxing, hassle-free car purchase.
