Gave this place a second try and I must say I was truly impressed with the turn around. I believe in earning a customer back and they did that and more. I came in for an oil change and left in a brand new vehicle. From scheduling to driving off the lot everyone was professional and kind! Effective communication within the staff made a difference because the service department was able to transition me to to someone in sales without having me wait or explain myself again. I worked with Franco & Giovanni. Both were a pleasure to work with! They are knowledgeable and made this an overall great experience. Franco was so patient with me and took his time to understand my needs and educated me on the different vehicles. He provided all possible options and made sure I was satisfied throughout the process. Giovanni made the financing process so easy by explaining everything so throughly and made sure I understood everything. These guys truly are gems and deserve to be recognized for their awesome work ethic!! Appreciate good staff!! It’s so hard to find these days. Thank you guys!!

Quick and easy. Dropped it off, got a video saying all looks good. Oil change and tire rotation all done. Amanda called, told me I was all done. When I'm ready, cashier will have my keys. Came by, picked it up and drove way. It was even washed! Now that's what one talking about!!!

My experience with Sam Pack's Five Star Chevrolet was great. I originally had an appointment for Saturday but my Traverse was giving me some problems with shifter. It was not recognizing it was in park. I was off work during the week unexpectedly and called the dealership. Brain was able to get me in that same day. He took care of the problem, scheduled my vehicle for an oil change, and had my car washed. The job was done within a matter of hours and I was able to get my Traverse back the same day. I'm so thankful for the quick service and attentiveness I was provided. My first experience taking my vehicle in and it was perfect. Hope I'll be able to say the same for future visits.

I had a great experience with Five Star. The sales rep (Dexter) didn’t try to jerk me around like most experiences I’ve had in the past with dealerships. Most importantly they took my trade in and got me in a brand new truck witch I had in my possession and drove home with in about 2 hours. The finance guy was nice and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend them.

The dealership ALWAYS has the customer's well being at the forefront of all it does. They go out of the way to make the customer happy and take the time to explain the process in layman's terms that everyone can understand. The provide a loaner car which is imperative for longer repair work. The only thing they could work on would be their internet service for customers. The past several times I was there it was down. I can work remotely - so as long as I have internet service I don't mind hanging around for a few hours because I can still get things done. However, as mentioned above, the dealership provided me with a loaner car so the internet being down became a non-issue for me. But it is something that needs to be addressed as I'll need access to the internet when I come in for oil changes, detailing, etc.GREAT JOB! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

I also visited the parts dept after the purchase looking for an accessory, though they could not find it in the GM catalogs they went the extra mile without prompting to locate an aftermarket brand name so that I could order the part from the Internet. I walked into 5 Star to look at used truck.June Belew-Heard was helping me. (I made her run a little, sorry!)We found one to look at as she walked into get the keys, I realized it is not the one I wanted.When we returned into the office June and I spoke with Joe Gobea. As I explained about the vehicle I was interested in from the internet, he pointed it out to June and I.After a little tire kicking and walking around and the test drive it was decision time.Went through the financing, btw, very easy and ended up with a new vehicle.Jennifer Orihuela, answered all my questions about On Star and even followed up with an email before I made it home!The bottom line, every person I interacted with made me feel more like family and not a customer!Coming from sales, myself it is so nice to be treated that way!I will be 5 Star guy for life and will tell everyone all about the exceptionally awesome service I received.

Tarell greeted me at the door with great customer service and gave it from the time I walked in until the time I left! He answered all my questions, was very accommodating, made sure I had bottled water or whatever I needed to be comfortable. He went above and beyond. Not only Tarell, but I can't remember all of their names but from the young lady who showed me how to use all of the gadgets in the car to the Finance person. I had been calling this dealership back to back for hours and couldn't get a hold of anyone until t Jennifer the receptionist helped me. My car has been in service multiple times and I just needed to talk to my adviser Eric. She told me that they were short staffed and that Eric would contact me at his next available time. She. I really needed this truck, and after an exhausting internet search, for weeks, I found this one at 5 Star Chevrolet, at an incredibly reasonable price, with only 36K miles. I had found similar trucks online, with 50K more miles, at an average of $4K-$5K more in cost. When I saw 5 Star Chevrolet's posting in auto trader, I couldn't drive there fast enough to see if it was still available. I am a veteran of the car buying process, as this is now the 4th silverado that i have purchased through the years, and I can tell you that I am NOT a fan of playing the "let me beg my manager" game with a car salesman. There was none of that with David Reeves at 5 Star Chevrolet. I was up front and honest with him about my trade in, and what I wanted to purchase. Very quickly, we came to an agreement on the price difference between my trade in, and this newer truck, and we sealed the deal on the amount I would be financing. I couldn't be happier, as the night before, i walked out of two dealerships for their inability to come to terms as quickly as they did at 5 Star Chevrolet. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market to purchase a Chevrolet, but I wouldn't waste time, as they seem to move alot of vehicles rather quickly. My second choice of truck, literally sold, right before mine, while I was waiting, so I am glad that I got my first choice, at the right price, before anyone else showed interest.

My husband and I visited Five Star Chevrolet to purchase a new car recently. We were greeted by Billy Washington upon arrival and began one of the best car buying experiences we have ever had. Billy was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was very "down to Earth" and offered us an extremely hassle-free, no stress deal. From my very 1st contact with Porsha who handles internet inquiries, to Sita who showed me how everything works on my Chevy Equinox, and everyone in between. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in the door, and was immediately helped. Even the manager, Ken went out of his way to come by and introduce himself. I was expecting them to hand me the keys and I would have to figure everything out on my own. That's how it has been in the past. But no, Sita came and introduced herself and said she was going to go over everything in the car to show me how everything worked so that I was comfortable driving. Wow! I was just blown away. Did I mention that I came in late after I got off work. Every person that helped me stayed late just to take care of me. They did it with a smile on their face and never once rushed me. I left feeling very happy and did not really expect to hear back from anyone. I was wrong again. i had the best car buying experience ever. David is a great sales guy. I never felt rushed, pushed or pressured. He took the time to find out my needs. Never looked at his phone or computer. He never interrupted me. He was honest open and genuine. I would definitely recommend him as a sales guy I will buy from again. I have never ever felt that way, ever. I didn't know David Reeves before this; I'll be seeing him in December for another vehicle. The mane thing that I liked was it never felt like a salesman was forcing me to do anything.

This was my first time stepping foot into this dealership, and my annoyances with dealers are there "shark" like approach. Brett Coffin was a professional who took the approach of " How can I help you " Not necessarily an approach to "sell" me. Everyone made us feel welcome and comfortable. The weekend experience was very attentive and consumer driven, this was a plus in my eyes. The Consumer being viewed as the driver for revenue and appreciated was key for me.. whether people bought a car or not. Sita is great!! And having her walk me through the technology aspects of my new truck along with setting up on star was just the finishing touch. Her personablend and professional approach will take her in a great direction and I believe she is a great asset to your team.

Five Star Chevrolet couldn't have been more accommodating. Gary had the door opened to greet us before we could get out of my car. I wanted to check out the new Malibu line which my daughter had seen on television. I am a single mature woman who hates being pressured and making decisions, so I took my daughter with me on my first visit. After meeting with Gary, I felt his honesty in helping to find the best car for me. He made me feel as if I was the only customer in the dealership. Gary is, indeed, devoted to his position and making his customers happy. I told him I wanted a "red" car and would like to see the new Malibu Premier. He didn't have a red one on the lot but did have one the following morning, just for me. I drove the new Malibu Premier, which I loved, but found it to be too much for my pocketbook. I returned again to test drive the Malibu L2, which I liked, but wanted to add leather seats. Gary worked out a plan for me, and I returned to wrap up the deal - no pressure involved! I then met with Oliver to go over the financing paperwork, most of which I did not understand. He was very patient in thoroughly explaining everything to me and answering my questions - I'm sure I drove him crazy. Jennifer was a pure delight in explaining all the technology features, of which I had never completely understood in my previous car. She explained it all in detail, on both her computer and in my new vehicle. She was so patient with me and actually made it seem so simple. We really like this Certified Preowned Pickup, but we have tried to have it fixed 3 times. When we slow down and then accelerate a little, the drive shaft hits hard when it goes back into the higher gear We have taken this vehicle to another dealership and neither dealership has been able to fix the problem. 5 Star Chevrolet at least ackowledges that there is a problem, and they have tried twice to fix the problem. The drive shaft has been replaced and the yoke has been heavily greased but the problem still exists.We would be really happy with this Certified Preowned Vehicle, if this problem could be resolved, but so far we are not too happy.

They charged me $149 for check engine light !!! I was never told I was going to pay that much just for a diagnostic. If I would've known I would've gone to auto zone or another place it would've been free. The Service Lady called to explain the diagnostics and gave me my totaI and not once did she tell me that my total was for the check engine light. I went in to get my tire patched and for a warranty (recall) when I was there I mentioned the light was on and the Service lady sayed ill look at it, but forgot to mention the part were she was going to be charged over $100 for it.I left with my tire not patched and with my car being in the same condition as it was. On top of that I found out I was charged almost $15 for a service that they have no idea what it was for. Im still waiting for the manager to call me back!I Do Not Recommend this place!!! Hummer H3

Sean Pinegar was very professional, not pushy, answered all of my questions and he had the car ready when my son arrived. Normally I sell my own cars by owner, but he made it worth our while to trade in our truck. Sean's follow up on all my questions pulled us away from a dealer 35 miles closer to where my son lives because he was willing to find the right vehicle in our price range, a Ford Explorer. Michael in the finance department was excellent. I was able to complete the entire transaction from another city because of their willingness to communicate by email, phone and text. I will be a repeat customer!

Took my vehicle in for oil change, vehicle was damaged. I was told to bring vehicle in for repair and would take 1 day. I never received a phone call that my vehicle wad not ready. It took a whole week with out any courtsey calls. I happened to call them and it just happened to be ready. Tom was the service manager and Shelly French took the complaint call but failed to follow up with me. I have actually dealt with Shelly twice and both times she fell through. First time was in June when a service man put false info on the service order. But I guess that was not important enough to follow up on either. Well never go there again!!

Took our truck in for repairs on damage caused by one of the employees. I was asked to bring truck in Wednesday and it would be ready Thursday. Never even received a call that truck would not be ready till Monday, I had to call the service dept myself. I received one call from Ms.Fisher who handles the complaints on Friday and left a message that she has not forgot about me,and would be getting back to me. Well as of today no phone call and they still have our truck. Oh and I also dealt with Ms.Fisher on another issue in June where she was suppose to get back to me and never did. When it was brought to her attention last week, she said this was the first time she has even heard my name, and apologized for it falling through the cracks.

Been a customer for 15+ years now before Five Star and the service seems to getworse every trip. Should I stop letting them servicer my vehicle or give them another chance.Why would you not tell me my vehicle was ready and of course be off the day I called about it.Why would you leave my window down during a 3 day rain and have my seat wet and whenI mentioned it everyone walked back into the building with no comment or concern. There are a couple of great people in the service department but the overall care of the department has gone down.

When it came time to take care of the ignition recall on my Saturn, I obviously could not take it to the Saturn dealership I bought it from, because they no longer exist. I chose Five Star Chevrolet mainly due to the location, but I would definitely go back based on their excellent Customer service. Kevin gave me a ride home, since their regular driver was on vacation, and the time estimate for completion was spot on. The salesman had a very dry personality. I didn't feel comfortable with him. I prefer a fun experience, with this I couldn't wait to leave. Just my preference. I wanted to get some approximate numbers on what I would be looking at if I went with the car they had, next thing I know he had run my credit without my permission! I was very upset with this! I chose to leave without buying. For me the overall experience was just not ok. The car looked nice, but the salesman and the experience killed it for me.

I just bought a new Chevy Sonic from Five Star Chevrolet and I couldn't have asked for a better exeperience! From the front of the house to the back, they truly are awesome! No high pressure and they made it clear they wanted to be sure I not only had a car that I wanted to drive but that also would right for me and what fits my needs, and life demands. They made sure it was the right car, not just any car. The customer service was top notch. They make sure you don't leave the lot until they go over the car and make sure you know all of it's features. They don't rush you through the sale just to get to the next customer. It was a fantastic care buying experience which is hard to come by.

I HATED car salesman!!, until I had the pleasure of having Scott Daly as my go to man, he crunched numbers for me and worked diligently with the bankers to get me into the truck I WANTED, not what some conniving salesman wanted me to buy. As I filled out paperwork he kept my inpatient 5 year old entertained, he made sure HE filled my tank up before I drove off the lot, AND when I noticed my pre-owned truck was missing a couple floor mats he ran from truck to truck in that parking lot just to make sure my experience at VAN was more than satisfactory. I'm proud to say I drove from Buckeye to Scottsdale for the Truck I wanted, for the price I requested, and was in and out with in an hour. I just wish that I would have meet Michael Nations many, many years ago. Because I would have bought all my cars from him. He is so patience, kind, and considerate. He really cares about what you want and if he doesn't have to exact car you want on the lot. He will do whatever it takes to find the car of your dreams.

I emailed them a question about a car on cars.com, they responded very quickly with an email and phone call. The car I inquired about did not have the options I wanted but the sales person search inventory at other stores they are affiliated with and found the car I wanted. We made a tentative deal over the phone and I drove to Scottsdale to view the car a few days later. I did buy the car. I traded in a car and financed the balance. At first they offered me 3.99% interest rate when the going price for my 800 credit score should have been 2.75. I did get them down to 2.90 so watch them on that maneuver The sales person said he was an expert on the model I was buying but gave me wrong information at least three times about the car I was buying and the car I was trading (same model). I believe their was a discrepancy in what the sales person was telling me and what the carfax appears to be reporting. I left without a carfax or spare key, it took them over one week to mail me the carfax and I never did get the spare key or touch up paint as promised. They seem to be very attentive until they get your money and then drop off.

took my car in for the GM recall after waiting for over 6 months no one ever called me when the parts were in I finally called. They didn't really car much about me waiting for 6 months.one of the service consultant Tom Smith called after a couple of hours and told me my car needed other things on thing Wes for 35.00 they would clean the post on my battery and cables what they didn't know was the battery wes new as well as the cables 3 week in fact after telling mr.Smith he some how disappeared from the room didn't want to talk about it. this was my first time at Van Chevy. am sure it will be my last.

I have always found Van Buick GMC to be of the most high character and efficient service. I enjoy working with them and wouldn't trust my car to anyone else. I drive from Peoria, AZ to Scottsdale just to have them take care of my Enclave! I have every confidence in them and their care. I had not planned to buy a new car when I brought my 2011 Enclave in for service, but the lease offer was too good not to take advantage of. All aspects of the lease/sale were handled efficiently and to my complete satisfaction. I will probably need some more help learning the electronics of the 2014 model, and I anticipate having no problem getting that assistance. I expect to come back next year and purchase or lease another vehicle from Van's because my second car will be ten years old by then.

My salesperson Gary Shelby gave me exceptional customer service but once handed over to the finance manager I was disappointed in the service. I was told I was paying for a warranty with 100,000 mile coverage but once I received the paperwork that was not the case. I called the finance manager Mike and he advised that he had taken care of the situation and it was only a grammatical error but in fact when my policy was received it still was not corrected. I made several phone calls to the dealership to no avail. I eventually gave up and accepted the fact that I had been bamboozled!

I took a vehicle to the service dept to have it checked by experts before I purchased it from another dealer. They did a visual check , put it on the rack and showed me all he problems this car has. Encountered a transmission problem with my Chevy Avalanche. Drove into dealership and they took my vehicle and supplied me an 'In house loan car' which was greatly appreciated. Service Advisor contacted me as promised and explained the problem. After agreeing to repairs, work was completed earlier than estimated. Everyone I was in contact with (Service Advisor, loan car person, technician, cashier, etc.) at Van Chevrolet were very courteous. Will go back to Van Dealership for future repairs.

Had a most wonderful time in buying my new Sonic LT. Heather Prigge played a giant part in making my experience actually a pleasant one. Going to dealerships for me is usually the last thing I want to do. But after I was done and driving home in my new Sonic I thought about how much Heather, Brian and the rest of Van Chevrolet went beyond the extra mile to make sure I was happy with not only my buying experience but they cared about my loyalty to Chevrolet and that is a rare thing. I have been happy with my vehicles until the Acadia and I am on my third recall. Each time I have received a letter, the parts are not available for some time. We are waiting on the seat belt anchors? and my wife is concerned that the air bags and seat belts are not functioning properly. 2006 GTO went in as the oild was burning and a weird noise while driving. Jacob and his team were able to identify the issue and replace multiple parts under the hood. Purchased a 2010 Chevrolet Equinox LTZ after 2mths the computer software program went out all my control buttons were unable to work including my a/c and radio! Took it to service dept had Tom Kassas inspected told me the software had crashed down and needed to be replaced but would cost me 1,800! Called GM they did nothing to help explained this wasn't my adult this vehicle should had been inspected including software. After several months of driving my car different service lights would turn on everywhere I took it they couldn't help because of the software finally my engine light turned on took to a different dealership since Van Chevrolet was no help and they informed me this vehicle had not be inspected & there was some parts that were from a different vehicle model! Or old but not the original. Keeping in mind this vehicle was shown to me when they had it still in their "back lot" where it still had to pass inspection but was probably never done so and this vehicle was sold to me! And given 2 days later!

I have had plenty of bad car buying experiences. I usually don't sleep the night before as I am preparing myself for battle. I don't like the whole process. Having said that I was ready to fight when I went in to see Mike Nations at Van. I had spoken to him a few days before and explained I don't have time to waste as long as the price doesn't change from the Truecar price and they can give me a fair value for my trade in, I would be leaving with a new car. I had set aside a Saturday to go test drive several different cars. I first went to Nissan down the road. There I was shuffled from one person to the next. Finally when we sat down they quoted me several thousand more than the Truecar price?! I complained and sat and waited finally when I said I was leaving they agreed to honor the price. Too late. I left and went to Van expecting the same thing. I was wrong. Mike Nations had my car sitting and waiting for me to test drive. He was professional and knowledgeable and immediately gave me the price I was promised. I did have to haggle a little on my trade in but overall I was very happy with the whole experience.

Just terrible. Every standard trick in the book being used here. Vehicle I was interested in was listed online in multiple ads, went in for a test drive and was told it hadn't been checked since the trade in at all, giant sticker on the windshield stating it was 'not for sale'. When asked when the mechanics would check it, was given the answer that it would not be unless I bought it, otherwise it was just going to an auction. Maybe the dealer that gets it at the auction will know what respect for customers is.

David Cottrell was an extremely good salesman. He was always willing to take my calls and answer my questions. He was especially enthusiastic about the features of the car, and he patiently guided me through the operation of my new Impala when I took ownership. Since I hadn't purchased a car in 13 years and was just coming back to the Chevy brand, I was overwhelmved by the 29 computers and all the new electronics on board. David offered that he would be available any time I needed to call or drop by to have more things explained, and I'm sure I'll be taking him up on that offer.

I am very pleased with the service I received on my last visit. I came in because I had heard about the ignition recall on the local news. I called and spoke with service consultant Tom who set me up with an appointment on my next day off. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by Tom who immediately looked up my car in his computer and explained that my particular Cobalt was not part of that recall and that I had no worries about my ignition failing. He did however find a recall/service bulletin notice regarding a fuel leakage problem and asked me if I had noticed any problem. I told him that I could sometimes smell gasoline but had not noticed and leakage but that I park in public parking lots not in a garage so I probably wouldnt notice a leak. He suggested that I go ahead and have the problem fixed and I agreed since I was already there. The work was done in a timely manner and I havent noticed and gasoline smells since. Overall I am VERY pleased with the way I was treated and with the service that my Cobalt received. I will continue to bring my Cobalt to Van any time service/repairs are needed.

Great buying experience through the internet fleet sales team. Ryan Derosier was our sales Rep who handled the paper work. We negotiated the deal over phone and email. No crazy pressure tactics. Once price agreed upon, we went to dealership and they were great... Nothing changed from what was agreed upon, and we left as satisfied customers. Ryan was great to work with, and an integral part in our satisfaction.

I have had a horrific experience with them. I was recently in an accident and purchased a replacement used vehicle from Adrian Wilson at Van Chevrolet. I'll paperwork was signed, down payment was paid and they cashed the check. They informed me that the vehicle still had to get inspected prior to giving it to me and would be ready within two days. I patiently waited at my own expense with a rental vehicle. They first informed me that it was going to take longer than expected and requested that I wait, which I did patiently. Then two weeks later I get a call from them stating they have to cancel the deal because it didn't pass inspection. I went to VAN Chevrolet and requested that I be refunded my down payment and they informed that my check hadn't cleared yet (which it had,7 days prior) and that they couldnt refund me my money. After numerous inquiries and finally obtaining a copy of the inspection report, it appears that a salesman/manager had taken it for a joy ride and blown the engine subsequent to me purchasing the vehicle which they were trying to cover up, then wouldn't take ownership of it. I spoke to as many managers as I could but only got mean stares and the run around. Chevrolet should be embarrassed with their dealership's conduct. By making the mistake of trusting these people, I am out 2 weeks rental of about $600, and I now have to resume my search for a vehicle and incur additional costs.

I throughly enjoyed my experience at Van Chevrolet. I bought my Impala from Katy Padilla. She was honest and very personable. She treated me like a friend. I am reading a lot of bad reviews on this dealership and I simply don't understand. While I was there I saw the most awful customers that were simply rude and treating these salesmen as dirt. These people are trying to make a living, I'm sorry everyone can't buy a vehicle for less than the dealership owns it for. These people don't make an hourly wage. They get paid commission. Stop acting so entitled.

I went to several dealerships before going to Van Chevrolet. My experience with Van and sales consultant Ryan Derosier was the absolute best. He took his time to show me many different models of the 2014 pickup that I wanted to buy. The negotiating process was cordial and without any high pressure. Ryan gave me a good rundown on all the new tech features and made himself available for questions and any problems that might come up after purchase. I left feeling very good about Van Chevrolet and the staff.

Van Chevrolet is a car dealership. Anyone expecting something different is dreaming. They will haggle with you. They don't claim to have "no-haggle" pricing. A lot of reviews say they took forever on their buying experience. If you want to make it quick, just pay their overinflated sticker price. The waiting area is mediocre at best. Big screen TV, WiFi, coffee, snacks, but no play area for kids. They have a tiny box of toys to entertain kids. My daughter was bored of them in less than an hour. So I don't suggest bringing kids. I did call ahead for the car I was interested in and they did wash it and have it pulled up front for me so it was ready when I showed up. Processing of the paperwork was also fairly quick. This experience was not the worse but I have had better experiences.

I don't understand why people find it so easy to bash a place instead of appreciate how hard these guys work and realize that if they get you a good deal, it's money coming out of THEIR pockets. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed my buying experience with Van. I was not lied to or toyed with in any way, which I appreciated. I had gone to several other dealerships in the valley and I left for one reason or another (the salesmen lied or were just plain sleazy, they didn't have enough selection, the interest rates were way too high, etc.). However, when I arrived at Van, I was greeted by friendly faces. My salesman, Abdul, was honest and straightforward, which I REALLY appreciate. There was no beating around the bush. I was able to get my new car with no unforeseen bumps or frustrations. I had really been putting off buying a car because I didn't want to be stuck working with a dealership that I didn't trust or want to support. That's not the case with Van. I feel completely confident in telling my friends and family members to go here for anything they need, whether it's a new car, service, or whatever else! The whole staff seems great, but definitely ask for Abdul if he's there when you go in. He was really fun to work with and made the process a breeze.

i DROVE 200 MILES FROM OKLAHOMA TO TEXAS TO LOOK AT A VAN. ALL THE PICTURES SHOWED A VAN IN TYPICAL CONDITION FOR THAT YEAR. WHEN i ARRIVED THE SALES PERSON SHOWED ME PICTURES ON HIS PHONE THAT HE CLAIMED HE COULDEN'T SEND FOR SOME REASON. WHAT THEY SHOWED WERE THE DRIVER AND PASSRNGER SEATS. THEY TRASHED. HE CLAIMED HE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS. WHAT HE SAID WAS " IT MAY NEED SOME ATTENTION." THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERENCE i HAVE EVER HAD AT A NEW CAR DEALER, AND I HAVE BEEN BUYING CARS FOR OVER 50 YEARS . I purchased a 2007 Acura MDX in July Of 2013. There was a bad switch that Brandon Shriver, the salesman was going to replace. We took the vehicle home and tried to call Brandon two days later about the switch and he was gone. Nobody knew where he went. I talked to the repair shop, and a sales manager, Smiley, about the part. Both said would look into it and call me back, no one ever did. Brandon called 2 weeks later and said he had a family emergency and was off for 2 weeks and did anyone call me to put the switch in. I told him of the run around I had been given and he made every excuse in the book. I took my vehicle up to him on Saturday to have the switch installed, and he broke a piece of trim on the console. He agreed to fix that too. We made another trip the next week to get that fixed. After dropping off the vehicle he called and said it was ready. When we got there he hadnt fixed the damage he caused. He said he ordered the wrong color part. He said he would call us to pick up the vehicle in 2 to 4 days, that was 4 weeks ago. We have not been able to get a hold of him as of today. He wont return our calls, and I talked to Smiley 5 days ago about it, and I havent heard from him either. BEWARE OF THIS DEALER THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, AND UNTRUSTWORTHY OF ANYONE'S BUSINESS

We were not expecting the same kind of deal that she got, only that we be treated fair. Scott Daly, went ABOVE and BEYOND, our expectations! My salesperson, Scott Daly, was the most considerate, caring and understanding of my needs of anyone I have ever dealt with at a dealership. The other personnel I dealt with during the buying process were extremely polite and courteous, I found that the deal I got was more than fair -- it was special. Went to Van Chevrolet to look for a used car. The sales person was determined to get me into ANY car regardless of what I told him I was looking for. He assured me he could get me into every car he showed me in "30 minutes" and their dealership was willing to do anything to earn my business. I ended up leaving because of the high pressure tactics of a salesman who didn't take the time to listen to his customer.

This is the worst dearlership that I have ever dealt with. I contacted the salesperson to purchase a vehicle. He advised me the car was available. However when I drove over an hour to purchase the car, it was no longer on the lot. I also waited for over 40 minutes for him to make initial contact with me. The salesperson did not apologize and acted as if he did not care. He kept trying to get me to buy another car. Do not waste your time with this dealership. The mangement and the sales people are highly unprofessional, and will give you the run around. There are too many dealerships to deal with the bad service Van Chevrolet will give you. They are not worth your time.

My experience was horrible. I told them I wanted a specific make and model and they lied and said they had 5 at the price range I wanted. Turns out when I got there they only had 1 of the model I wanted and it was overpriced by 5 thousand dollars. Then they tried to sell me a Malibu or impala. That is not what I wanted!! My wife and I had were in the process of narrowing down the exact model of vehicle that we wanted to purchase. We found a couple specific used vehicles online that were located at the Van dealership that we wanted to test drive. We were hesitant due to the negative dealership reviews, but figured maybe people were exaggerating. When we arrived, we were greeted warmly and shown the first vehicle. First off the vehicle had damage that was not detailed in the online posting. After dismissing this vehicle, they brought out the second vehicle, which was in fine condition. We then sat down to discuss numbers. This ordeal took nearly three hours, and involved no less than four different sales reps. In the end, we decided against buying the vehicle, due to our overall disinterest in the base model features. We were then told that another vehicle could be brought in the next morning that would more likely fit our interest due to the features. So my wife and I did come back the next day to look at this third vehicle. The vehicle was nice, as we again sat for nearly two hours to haggle over the final selling price. Again the process consumed so much time and involved a number of sales reps. All that we wanted was a bottom line price, that met our budget, but it seemed to be a constant battle to get that dollar figure. In the end, the vehicle was just outside of our budget so we walked. Fine! However, later that evening we received a call from a sales rep placing one last ditch offer. This offer was acceptable to us, however by this time we were already home (a 30 minute drive). My wife agreed to the deal over the phone, was told "congratulations on your new vehicle", and we then prepared to gather paperwork to take to sign the contract. Just before we left the house the sales rep called again to tell us that another person was looking at the same vehicle, to hold off on driving down until he knew their interest level. In the end, the dealership decided to sell the vehicle to another buyer. Wow! My wife and I aren't upset that the dealership decided to sell the vehicle for more money. That we understand. It's that we were strung along for over a total of six hours to ultimately have been told that we had a deal, only to find out we really didn't. It was exhausting and frustrating. We do feel some relief not to have ultimately done business with this dealership. In hindsight, our opinion was more concretely established a few days later when we purchased a used vehicle from another dealer where the salesman immediately gave us an answer to our asking price, without haggling or involving other sales reps. We were in and out in less than an hour. By comparison, there is a massive gulf between the cultures of various dealerships. The Van dealership culture is one of tactics, lengthy processes, and very much intricate haggling which involves layers of manager involvement. Maybe our end result experience was unusual, but the clear lack of respect for the agreement speaks volumes for their honor or their word. If you like the "game" shop at Van. If you prefer not to play the "game" shop somewhere else.

This was truly the easiest and best car buying experience. I went into the dealership not sure what I wanted and walked out a very happy new car owner. I went to another dealership prior and was very unhappy with the sales people and came to Van as a second option. Wish I would have gone there first...I will next time. People there are friendly and the deal went smoothly. I am a woman and I never once felt like I was being taken for a ride or that someone was trying to get over. Will recommend Van to everyone and anyone who is in the market for a new or used car.

Called on an internet ad. Had the exact car I wanted, at a good price. Was told the car was sold, a little bit later was told it was available, just not at the advertised price I would have to pay more. I said I can do that. They wanted my credit card for a deposit, I was ready and said so that is the total cost. I was told no it is not there is more. Why don't they just advertise the price they want for the car and you can decide if you can afford it. They have so many hidden costs to make more money. I would have loved to buy the car, but there are a few 100 just like it else where. Not very willing to work with the buyer even a cash buyer.

I recently dealt with and purchased a 2013 vehicle from this dealership. Called internet sales person Mike Nation about a car posted on cars.com. He encouraged me to come in and see car. Went 2 hours later and Mike was not avilable so met with a "salesman". Was given the chance to look at and test drive car. Was ready to purchase only to find out car had been sold already and owner brought it back for AC repair. Personnally belonging still in car when test drove it. Dealer tried to sell same vehicle twice. Was mislead, wasted 3 hours only to findout car has already sold.Very unethical and dishonest.

I went to this dealership with a specific car in mind, one that I had found online. All I wanted to do was look at the car, possibly drive it, and then see what I could do about financing. I couldn't find any of the used cars on the lot, so I finally broke down and asked someone where they were. Just like that, I was taken inside, where they took all my information to see what I could afford. I should have known something was going to go wrong when across the way a lady started shouting "don't call me dear, this is exactly why I hate car dealerships!" and kept shouting all the way out the door, escorted by a smiling sales woman. Thinking I would eventually get to look at the car, I went along with the process. Finally, Scott came over-the "best dealer in the valley". Did they think I was stupid? Anyway, he kept asking me why I wanted the car I wanted and did I have anything else in mind. No, I came to look at a specific car. Yes, he did spell out what it may cost to buy a certain car at certain price, but never even suggested that the car I was looking for was available for sale. Finally, I asked if the exact car was on the lot and he replied with "we just sold it at our other dealership, 5-10 minutes ago, probably while you were still in the building". Of course you did, duh. Needless to say, if you are looking for swindlers and condescending sales people-go here, so they can tell you how wonderful they are and waste your time.

I called about a newly listed 2008 Pontiac G6 which I am looking to pay cash for. Sales Manager James Brown promptly responded and I set an appointment for 1 1/12 hours later. I drove 40 miles. The ad stated "this 2008 G6 4dr Sdn is technically a pre-owned vehicle, the clean and spotless interior could fool even the toughest critic.The paint on this G6 4dr Sdn is flawless; no scratches, no blemishes, no need to spend extra money on touch ups." When I arrived the sales manager came and told me the car has a pending deal, but he would have one of his salesman show me the car anyway. There was no one in the dealership at the desks making a car deal. I hate people that blatantly lie and start on the wrong foot.They pulled the car around and it was rotten. Paint cancer all over the roof, hail damage, door dings all over. the back seat was removed because they were shampooing it. the passenger seat was nasty. I told them no need to proceed further. The car was misrepresented. I told them I was looking for a small car for my 65yo mother. They pulled around a Jeep Grande Cherokee and tried to pressure me. They argued with me that this was a small fuel efficient SUV. I did not want their SUV and I knew way more about cars then they did. I left because they are unprofessional and were obviously shady charactors. I would proceed here with caustion and have all your research done before going here.

My husband and I took our daughter to purchase her first car at this dealership. I had done my research and found this car on a website from my credit union. I then called Van Chevrolet to verify the car was still on the lot and if a discount was offered if I worked with my credit union, I spoke to Scott who answered yes to both my questions. Once we entered their establishment we never worked with Scott, I did ask for him, a man named Rick located the vehicle and took us on a test drive. My daughter decided to purchase the vehicle, now the fun begins, Rick went to find his puppet master, can,t remember his name but I believe related to the Scott we never met. He was very volitie, thought he wanted to smack my daughter and he suggested my daughter should clip coupons to afford the car. We were not given a credit union discount, we were charged a repair fee on the used car and lied to us about working with our credit union. My daughter has a credit score that is over 700 so financing was never an issue. The finance man was very condescending, informed us we were stupid for not purchasing their extended warrenty. Needless to say we still purchased the car because we didn,t want to go down this road again with another dealership. We will never do business with this group again!

This was my first car buying experience and I was very nervous. I had heard horror stories about car dealers and the way they try to take advantage of females and first time buyers. James Brown was the first to speak with me on the phone and made me feel comfortable enough to go test drive a Camaro at Van Chevrolet. He was very nice and made sure I knew what all the features are of the car. When we were done with the first drive he made sure I was happy and understood everything about the Camaro. We went inside and he introduced me to his manager James Chacon and the 2 of them walked me through the process. What surprised me was how comfortable I felt with the entire process and how James explained everything to me as it was happening. I was not sure about my credit and if I was getting a good deal but they showed me how my score compares to others and went over all of my payment options. I really couldn't believe how easy the whole thing was.GREAT JOB VAN CHEVROLET, you have a customer for life. I love my new Camaro and I will definitely send my friends to you.

We had researched prices on the vehicle we were looking for extensively, and found the Van Chevrolet price to be the lowest, without a lot of negotiation. As promised, the dealership stood behind the vehicle by repairing a leaky window we discovered three weeks after the sale, at no charge to us.

This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased at Van Chevy over the past seven years. I always return to this dealership and give them a chance to earn my business, usually after visiting other dealers in the Dallas area. As some personnel have come and gone, Van Chevrolet has been consistently at the top of their game when it comes to selling excellent quality vehicles and closing the deal with minimal discomfort. I had my eye on a 2010 Camaro because of the innovative styling and performance.In my 50s now, I still crave the kind of driving experience that only a performance car provides.Adam had the kind of grace and patience needed to keep me occupied through the process. I normally spend around 6 to 8 hours on a car deal, which is the case here as well. Romero listened to me and went right to the best deal on the car without "low balling" or attempting to beat me up about payments and price.These guys made it happen for me with the utmost professionalism and maturity.The sales manager personally greeted me and placed a phone call to thank me at the end of the day.The dealership is easily accessible from a major freeway (IH 35) and has a good variety of vehicles to test and consider. My initial experience with Van Chevrolet was online. The dealership was close to where I live, so I decided to check the inventory. I found a car I liked and sent in an email hoping that it was still available. Before too long, I received an email from Mark Garrett who let me know that the car I was asking about was not available and he asked me to come in to check out the rest of their inventory.I went in the next day and met Mark. He was very receptive and very nice. He was unfortunately in the middle of several other deals and asked if I would mind working with one of his associates. That's when I met Jahn Smith..or "Big Jahn" as the other guys were calling him. Jahn was very nice as well. We walked the lot and looked a few different trucks before I decided on the truck that I liked. We took a test drive and when I got back we sat down to start the paperwork. Although it took a little long, the paperwork part of the deal was very easy...it was very busy that day, so I figured I might be there for a while. Jahn made sure I was comfortable during the entire process and answered any questions I had!Before too long I was meeting with Steve to settle the financial side of the deal. This is where I got nervous. Normally the "finance guys" are sneaky and can really screw you over or confuse you with all the extra stuff. Steve was straight forward, though. He laid everything on the table and asked what I wanted. I picked it all out, he answered any questions I had and then we finished up the paperwork. It was that easy.Before I left, Mark came back over to make sure everything went smoothly. He apologized for not being able to see everything through and wanted to make sure I was happy before I drove off the lot. I was, and he let me know that if I was satisfied to make sure to send anyone I know his way.The next morning I got a call from Mark and he was making sure I made it home safely since the weather was so bad the day before. He reminded me that he offers a $100 gift card to Chamberlain's Steak House if I referred anyone to him.Well, that sounded too good and my wife was ready for a new car. So, later that day we went back up to dealership and met with Mark. Once again he offered his polite and professional services and helped us get into a new car. Mark is, by far, the best car salesman I have ever worked with. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a new car. I have yet to see that Chamberlain's gift card, but I'm sure it's on its way!Van Chevrolet has far exceeded any expectations I had for a car dealership. They will most definitely have my business in the future!

I was extremely pleased with the service and willingness of all of the team to find the right deal for me. They worked and found a deal for the car I wanted in the price range I could afford. They showed the different options, explained the process, and worked to have the car ready for me in a very short time frame. Mark was extremely helpful in making sure I had all of the information, explaining why I should not consider some options, since they did not really provide any benefits to me. Carlos was helpful in helping me work through a lost tilt situation. The total time I was there was 3 1/2 hours from arrival to leaving with the new car. I did know what car I was looking for and had actually rented the car for trip I made to make sure it was what i wanted in davance. I first contacted Mark through the Internet and he was very responsive in emails, with a phone call and worked to make sure before I arrived what car I was looking for color etc. The other dealers I had contacted did ot respond. So Kudo's for Mark and team.

Customer Service was good because they gave me food & drink and were attentive to my concerns as well as quick to fix several small problems. Competent quality work was exhibited all around by all dealership employees ascertained by subjective observation forming a Bayesian prior probability indicating employee work was likely objectively measurable in terms of quality. The employees were very friendly despite being subjected to constant rejection and fear induced fight or flight response from prospects.Goodness happens when antecedent circumstances occur that inculcate a consequent state of benefit for a particular individual or group. This happened for me and my wife relative to our dealings with Van Chevrolet.Sadly, my wife and I did not get the best deal available on the Cruze and I think the extended warranties are overpriced. But I did the deal anyway because my wife liked the car.I rated Van Chevrolet good rather than great because there is no objective way to determine, define, and hence to measure greatness.I would recommend Van Chevrolet to my friends with the caveat that they go in with their financing already established so as to pay cash and with competitive quotes to use as wedges to obtain a vehicle at dealer cost if possible.

I have driven foreign cars (mostly Volvo's) for 20 years. I require a calm, non-harrassing dealer experience or I won't go back. I needed towing capacity and travel comfort without a full size truck, so I considered the Traverse, the Flex and The Volvo XC90. I've purchased 12 cars in my lifetime, and this was the most satisfying car purchase I've ever had. My trade-in was handled expediently, and Wayne Massey thoroughly explained the specifics of my deal. He and Mark Garrett sought the best financing available for me, allowing me to drive out of the dealership in my dream car, with a bumper-to-bumper extended warranty, with only a small fraction of an increase in my monthly payment. I was treated with courtesy and respect by everyone at the dealership, including Fran Vega in Financing. It is because of this warm treatment that I have already recommended Van Chevrolet to two friends. I intend to use the Setvice Department as well to maintain my car.

I purchased a Tahoe as a suprise gift for my wife and they made it happen! I had to purchase and trade in a vehicle two weeks prior to our daughters birth which was no easy task keeping it a secret, but the guys at Van worked with me to keep it a total surpise. They actually brought her new Tahoe to the hospital so when she walked out with her new baby she had a new car waiting for her. Not only that, but the dealership gave us a baby gift and followed up with us to get pictures of the new addition to the family. This was my first experience purchasing a car from a "respectable" dealership, and it has been one of my worst experiences ever. I fought with the dealership for almost 2 months. The first car they sold me came with an oil leak that would have cost me $1,500 to fix. The car itself cost me $4,700. At first they refused to fix it and basically told me "tough luck". After bringing a friend in, who appeared to be a lawyer, they reluctantly agreed to fix it. After 2-3 weeks, nothing was fixed. I decided to go for another car. Of course, they didn't give me nearly what I payed for the first car. They gave me $3,000 for the trade-in. I had used the car for about a week, and had a radio installed. I did not have a car for about a month, until I decided to deal with another salesperson. Of course, at this point, almost everyone at the dealership knew who I was. I showed up 2-3 times a week asking about my broken car which was never fixed. The other salesperson was for sure better, friendlier, as I was basically starting with a clean slate. After selecting a new car, they tried to sell me a warrantee for $2,300, and when I refused, they became angry. Eventually they dropped the price to $1,200 for the warrantee. They also sold me a "gap protection plan", telling me it was almost the law to buy it. Finally, regarding the radio I installed in the first car, they refused to take it out, and it would have to stay with the car. It was a deck worth $600 they were trying to rob me of. I told them they either give it to me or I would bring the police. They told me to take it out myself. That was my whole experience with them. I tell everyone I know what it was like.

I bought a new Cavalier. Finance Mgr. said they'd hold my check. I even post-dated it. Instead they put it right through. LUCKILY I had the funds to cover it. Called 4 times for the dealership manager before I was able to get through to him. No one ever returned my calls. After I got the car it was making noise and I had to leave it with them twice before the noise got fixed. They acted like they were doing ME a service by offering me $50 worth of gas, but I had to come to their dealership to fill up if I wanted it, even though I lived in Ft. Worth. I was so fed up when my plates came in I told them to take their sticker off the back of my car. They said they couldn't because if they scratched it I'd hold them liable. I told them I'd sign something if they wanted, but I wanted their name off my car. They said fine. When I went to pick it up their name was still on the back so I had to cover it with a sticker. On one trip to the body shop, the department that handles title applications asked me to verify that my address information was correct. I told her it wasn't. My address was COMPLETELY wrong. I'd never even heard of the street they had me on. I was assured it would be corrected. When a year rolled around & I had to get my registration renewed I never got anything in the mail. I found out it's because they still had the old, wrong address listed as my address. They were horrible from beginning to end and I will never give them, or their affiliates any of my business again.
