Literally there for 7 hours. felt like we had to wait half an hour for each price quote. I came in with knowing the economical car i wanted but once leasing was listed as an option i was memorized by a certain car/deal and after and after an hour of test driveing and talking about price it was pointed out i wouldnt even qualify for the saveings of this partical lease that was listed on window. things started off good, sales person really took time to listen to my needs and try our different cars but towards the end after hours it felt like he was trying to close a deal that i didnt really even want. left with a car that i like but disappointing that mileage limits wernt talked about because one of the reason i even wanted a car is for traveling. also my main objective was to own a car at the end of the deal and they kept saying i can finance after i lease and that that was a normal and great option. but when i brought it up to the paperwork guy he mentioned that that route would be a rip off and i would be paying much more. total mixed messages from sales staff. i kinda wanted to walk away at that point but just felt pressured after 7 hours of car hunting with the first guy

Folsom Lake Hyundai has fantastic sales staff, very professional and courteous and where very willing to work with us. I had the opposite experience with the finance staff at the location who provided misleading information. Do not trust the finance staff when they tell you a price, make sure you confirm it in the paperwork before you sign anything. I recommend getting financing elsewhere, and avoid the excessive warranties which are very expensive.

May was a huge help she got me into a beautiful car and I couldnt be happier. I felt so comfortable with her and that is important to me as I can be a little intimidated by salesmen. I did not have a good experience in Roseville. I should have come here in the first place. I will be back soon as I really like the Tucsons and will be trading up in a few years. My husband was very surprised that I was able to get so much car for the money. May was able to get me a really good lease that fits me and my finances. I am a researcher and always do all my choices prior to arriving at a dealership. I previously was a car salesperson in Florida and know a lot of the sly tricks sales people can pull. I saw none of this hear. I picked out the car I wanted on the website, showed up on a Tuesday just to look and test drive and ended up buying the car that day. Sam (Samlesh Pal) was my salesperson and he was a great guy who provided good knowledge and never made me feel pressured. He listened to me and understood what I wanted. IN fact, the whole dealership was a pleasure. Steve was as nice as can be and explained the price with transparency. Ed was my finance guy and he went above and beyond what I expected. I came into the dealership with my own financing. He offered to run through and see if he could get me a better deal. I agreed and he came back 2 and half percent better then I had with my bank who I had been dealing with for 12 years. Blew me away. I ended up buying the car I came into buy, no switches or look at a less model. I actually feel I walked away with a better then expected deal and no regrets. I will recommend them in the future and if I decide to buy another car, they will be my first choice! Thank you for your service! I love my ford Fusion.

What a difference a good dealership makes! Working with Folsom Lake Hyundai was an absolute pleasure and so very different from our experience just five days earlier when he bought another Hyundai from a different dealership. Everyone at Folsom Lake Hyundai was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I was actually able to negotiate the price for the car entirely over the phone. I received a call from Joey who followed up on an inquiry I have made online. we had not intended to buy a second new car but we both liked my wife's new car so much that we decided to purchase another one. I am really big on honesty and shooting straight with people. Joey was easy to work with and reasonably straightforward. My only small disappointment in the whole process was Joey's unwillingness to acknowledge the retail value of my trade in. Not a big deal, but why not tell the truth when the numbers are out there for everyone to see. However, Joey was still great to work with! The two people I worked with personally were extremely helpful.Sam who went the extra mile to stay late and show me everything about my new car was fabulous. He even met me a couple days later when I brought my wife's new car in to be detailed and took even more time to answer additional questions I knew Sonata. When it was time to sign papers we worked with Damien and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. He was great to work with and very warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Hyundai in the Northern California area.

Dave is our preferred salesman at Folsom Lake Hyundai. He does an excellent job at turning the sale into a conversation with us (my fiance and I) so that we can make the right decision on our purchase based on our lifestyle and preferences. We have purchased three cars from this location, two of which were sold to us by Dave, and any time we go back we ask for him specifically. He knows the product, the inventory, and how to read people and communicate effectively because he doesn't cause any pressure, but instead listens to our concerns so he can understand what we need and want. When we purchased this car, we specifically asked for him because another time we went there, we dealt with Joey, who was very unprofessional and aggressive. He came off as abrasive, and as someone who wants to make a sale just to add to his numbers, instead of selling us something we would be happy with. Dave is the reason we went back, and we enjoy working with him and he is excellent at his job. My fiance also briefly worked with Harley, whom he described as very professional and knows his stuff very well.

After spending 8 hours bouncing from one dealership to another and ending the day with no car, I felt like I was not going to get what I wanted and would have to settle. I decided to continue my online search and went on to the Folsom Lake Hyundai website. I saw a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe and was skeptical that this would be one more let down. But decided to give this one a try. After speaking with Sam, he made me feel comfortable. Mind you this conversation took place over the phone. I gave him my information and within minutes he called me back with EXCELLENT news. I was able to get the car and within the amount I was willing to pay. He never made me feel as if I was a burden and let ME make the decision on whether or not I wanted to purchase the vehicle. Unlike one particular place. Who never told me what my options were and made the decision for me and said, "we can't get you what you want. sorry". Nevertheless, my experience at Folsom Lake Hyundai was Fantastic!!

Samlesh was exceptionally polite when introducing to me what would become my new car. He worked with the manager (who was also extremely courteous and an ex-CHP officer) to get me a low price. I even checked the price I was going to purchase the car with with other dealerships and they were unable to beat or even match the quote. I've heard my friends complain about their experiences with dealerships, so I was cautious when originally visiting any local dealerships. Folsom's Hyundai dealership dissolved those fears and now I'm driving in a car that I'll love for years to come and that I have no regrets about paying the price I did for.

I was impressed with the lease special running for the Azera. At first, it did not look like I would be able to get the special being advertised but the sales staff worked to get as close to it as possible. Harley was very knowledgeable about the Azera's technology features as well as the performance of the vehicle. Damien in finance was very personable and made the paperwork process effortless and quick. I have purchased a half dozen vehicles at the Folsom Auto Mall over the years and the Hundai dealership kept that experience very positive.

Never do business with them unless you know true car values. They will wear you down and mislead the sale. They will tell you that equipment you have is compatible with the vehicles system therefore your getting everything you asked for fir cheaper when in fact not every phone is compatible. Now you have to spend a few hundred bucks to get the features you wanted out of the car.

Bought a used 2014 Chevy. Price was about the same as else where and the car was about the same. The sales men seemed to work with me to sell me the car. Was told my trade in wasn't worth what I thought and the offer was low. Was told they would have to wholesale it. Ok, I understand.It's on their lot now about 5K over what they gave me. When I got the car I bought home found a few issues. Many small dents in the hood and sun visor won't light up. E mailed the sales people, but heard nothing. Finally my wife called. Was told, " come in tomorrow before 3pm".Took the car back in and showed them the problems. Was told they would do nothing. Take the car to Chevy to get the light fixed and call the company they use to get dents taken out. Tell him to charge me what they charge them. This was after I stood waiting in the showroom for about an hour. I always buy from a new car dealer, they stand behind what they sell. Not Folsom Lake Hyundai. Bought the service agreement. The closer circled on the paper the items I was going to get at a discounted price. Was not given paper work, but a card to plug into a computer. Told him I'm not got with computers. When I finally figured out how to put the card they gave me in the computer I found out Did not get what was circled and was told no deductable, but $100 deductable. I explained to all that I was deaf. Told the closer, I'm sorry I don't have an interpreter, was told that's ok. I'm still in shock that I was treated this way by a "reputable car dealer"

Of course you might get more for your used car by selling it yourself, but dealing with strangers coming to you home is just as bad as being underpaid.So I went into this dealership when they advertised a good deal on a used Kia.I went in with a price in mind for my trade in. The reviews of the car I bought seemed to show that the selling price was pretty good, so the only question was the trade-in value. I walked away from the first offer. They called back a few days later and got really close to my asking price.Easy-to-talk to salesman made the transaction smooth. The hand-off to the finance guy (Ed?) was pleasant, and he was very friendly, even humorous. No pressure to buy extended warranties, etc.All-in-all, it was an easy, almost stress-free experience. My only suggestion: Look at the selling prices for the car you are selling; look at the Consumer Reports reviews for the one you are buying.Hats off to Folsom Lake Hyundai - I'm very please with the service I received.

There was also a sizable scratch on the rear fender that not only did they take money off of the stickered price for but after all the paper work was signed and we got the keys, we went to our new car and saw that they repainted the fender and scratch was gone! I like the sales person he help us out right a way. we were there for about 5 hours and got the deal done. Picked up one of 2 Genesis. went home and waited another 2 hours to have the other one delivered to the house by the sales person. He spent about 20 minutes showing us the different features of both cars. We did ask him to take off a trailer hitch on a Sonata we traded in . he said no problem but its been about a week and we still don't have the hitch.

My wife and I found sale staff to be professional and courteous during the process of buying a car. The finance person on the other hand was very unprofessional. They made rude comments to try and embarrass us into buying additional coverage products for the car!!! NOT COOL!!! After getting car home and looking it over the next day, I found that the tire pressures were over inflated, one tire by more than 20 psi! Also the spare tire was 25 psi low! This is suppose to be a factory certified used car that went through a 150 point inspection! (?) It appears all they did was change the oil and clean it up a bit (underside of vehicle is very dirty, like it had been driven on muddy dirt road or in high water that was muddy). So service dept. obviously dropped the ball!!!!!! Not confidence inspiring, to say the least. This is a low mileage vehicle, so I guess they just went through the motions. Unfortunately mediocre seems to be the acceptable normal for service these days!!!!!!!

Sales did not get due bill to service department. Service department did not order the parts and I showed up for my appointment for no reason. I had to go into the dealership 3 times to get information on my part being installed. In total it took over 2 weeks to get the work done for products I already paid for. There is a real breakdown on the process from Sales to Service and Service to Parts. I don't know if I want to go back to Hyundai Service at Folsom Lake.

I had a mostly painless experience leasing my new Elantra GT. I came in near the end of the evening wanting to trade in my non-Hyundai car for a new lease, already knowing pretty much exactly what I want. Ivan got me set up quick, took me on a test drive, and worked with me in good faith to get the deal I was looking for. There was some confusion and hesitancy over the payoff amount on my previous car, which became a little annoying, but they were just doing their due diligence (again, end of the evening when it wasn't really possible to get anyone on the phone) and were still willing to work with me to get me what I was asking for. Ivan was incredibly helpful during and after the negotiation process, and Tom was friendly and efficient in getting the papers drawn up. I drove away with a car I like a whole lot more than the one I drove in with, and am very satisfied with my experience.

I first visited Roseville Hyundai. After a horrific experience with their sales team I had nearly decided not to buy the car. My friend and I took a ride out to Folsom to see if I would feel differently after a different customer service experience. I'm so glad I did. Even though they didn't have the color I wanted, we took a test in one they had on the lot, and I bought it less than a week later. Finding "the car" had been a mission for 4 months, so the speed to which I committed was amazing. They were able to trade a car on their lot for a car on the Roseville Hyundai lot, and also price match so I never had to deal with those awful sales people up there again. I got a good deal, and the whole process was done in under 2 hours. I also received a few extra perks that other dealers make you pay for (such as GAP insurance). Thanks for making it great guys.

We just purchased a 2016 Santa Fe AWD, Limited with the Ultimate package. There weren't. any on the lot when we drove up, but Joey, the sales manager was able to locate one nearby at the Roseville store. We had previously worked with Joey when we purchased our new 2007 Veracruz. With Joey and Oscar, our salesman, we had a great experience in getting a good deal on a great car. Oscar ran off to Roseville to get the car while we worked with the finance manager. Oscar showed us how to set up all of the gadgets on the vehicle and called us a couple days later to see how we were doing with the new car. He also invited us back to the store if we need to learn more about the great electronic features of the car.I haven't worked with the other parts of the dealership yet so I am not rating them at this time. The crew in the service department that prepped the car when it arrived was also great. The car was immaculate when we got it.

Overall if I had been working with any other salesman, I don't think I would have purchased my car that day. Dre made it easy and fun. The car I test drove was perfect, but they didn't have the color I wanted on the lot. Dre drove all the way to Petaluma to pick up the car I wanted, and delivered it to my job in the Bay Area the next day! Super amazing service, and the car is perfect. I highly recommend this place!! SOLD!!We went to Folsom Lake Hyundai today and we assisted by Gabe. He was an amazing guy whom made my our experience a great one. He walked us through the paperwork, kept us company the whole time while we waited to hear back from Edwin (you know..paperwork) and kept us informed every step of the way. We really enjoyed him!!Then Edwin made it happen!! My wife got her car at the price she wanted and she could not stop grinning. Edwin even kept us informed about the location of our vehicle while Gabe ventured into the burning California sun to pick it up for us.The remaining paperwork process was a breeze. Tip even made that process exciting as him and my wife talked about sports - Spurs and the Warriors..some old school Kings chit Chay and the home run ball he caught back in 92 (give or take a year).Overall it was great experience from start to finish!! Never got a call back over the 4 week period when I was told several times I would. Was lied to about purchase price (was told that they would sell it for ____ then raised price on me. Lied to about shipping cost (found out from shipping company). Did not charge tax correctly on car. Their solution to fixing the over tax, wrong purchase price, going with another shipper was to charge me more money. If you have a choice I would not go here AT ALL. Waited 4 weeks for my car to be delivered. Lied to about how long it would take to ship. Edwin said it would be shipped out same day. They did not submit the papers for shipment until 3 days later. Waited another 2 weeks for it to be picked up.

I purchased a brand new car; however, the exterior and interior was dirty for obvious reasons that it was out in the lot for show. I was told by sales that upon purchase, he will have it detailed and ready. I took the car home late in the evening assuming that it was clean. When I checked out the car the next morning, the windows had water marks, car doors had water marks with soap, trunk had water spots. I called to complain and I was told by Tabitha to take it back for a detailed car wash. I took it back and this time they left SWIRL MARKS AND SPIDER MARKS THAT WILL NOT COME OFF. This is a brand new car and they essentially ruined the body paint of the car. This is horrible service!

I got a great deal but was unhappy with my first salesperson, Ivan. I visited Sunday to drive the car and he couldn't tell me the difference between the Sonata trim levels (he didn't even know what I meant when I said the term "trim levels") and he wouldn't give me a brochure about the vehicle because "these things change all the time" and he wasn't sure he could find the latest ones. He also said he didn't know what the current week's specials were because they change all the time as well. We were given a very, very low offer by the sales manager on duty that day and Ivan and the manager said they could honor the offer for no more than two days.When I returned two days later (Tuesday of the same week), Ivan was busy with another customer and he asked us to sit and wait while he found another salesperson for us. We waited for several minutes at a table in the front and no one checked in with us even though the dealership was empty. Ivan then introduced us to Oscar, who was more helpful and more knowledgeable than Ivan. He knew a lot more about the car than Ivan appeared to know.Art, a different sales manager, was on duty that day and he gave us a very different number than we were given on Sunday. When we explained that it had only been two days and we were told the offer would be honored for those two days, Art told us that the dealership is given a certain number of discount coupons and they'd used them all up in the previous two days, so we couldn't get the discount we wanted.Regardless, we continued negotiating with Art and I told him I simply couldn't do the numbers he was offering. He came down much closer to where I wanted to be on my monthly payment and I put a little more down than I'd planned to. Overall it's still a really good deal and every car gets a full tank of quality gas before it goes home with the new owner.Ed in financing was fantastic. He's the only finance manager I've ever experienced that didn't try to scare me into purchasing a bunch of upgrades. He took no as an answer and didn't give me a hard time. It was a fast and easy lease process.My advice is to be patient and persistent with the sales crew and you'll get a good deal.

The staff was awsome Andrew our salesman went above and beyond what any other sales person from any other dealership we has done for us to get us the best price. Everyone I talked to while shopping for and buying a new Hyundai here was great. They're super friendly people that really break down the stereotype of what it means to buy a car from a dealership. This is the first time I have ever bought a car, new or used, and they made the experience a lot simpler and a lot less terrifying than I thought it was going to be. And it's not like I didn't haggle either. I made a point of trying to see what was the best they could offer me, and they were all very patient and helpful during the process, so I walked out with a great deal on a brand new Hyundai. I never once felt hassled or pressured by anyone and I am extremely happy with my car.I started off talking with Ivan and test driving a couple cars with him. He is a very recent hire, but he is already very knowledgeable and the few questions I had that he wasn't able to answer, he just ran off right away to get an answer. He also took it upon himself to make sure I got a good deal on the car by putting a little pressure to the manager. Edwin is also great. He was very personable and worked to get me an amazing quote on auto insurance from the agent he usually works with. He even talked the agent down from her original price for me. And then there was Tom, the finance guy. He walked me through all the paperwork at the end quickly and clearly and with a great sense of humor. I was really tired by the time we were finishing up (I had already had a long day before coming to the dealership) and he just made those last steps go by quickly and painlessly. Overall, I had a great experience here.

Great experience with Andrew, he was patient the multiple days and test drives we took. He was able to answer every question we had and seemed very trust worthy. He listened to our needs and concerns we had and answered them with confidence and accuracy. It was refreshing to come to Folsom Hyundai after dealing with over 6 other pushy dealerships that just wanted a deal and didn't care about the needs of their customers. I recommend Andrew as a salesperson as he was knowledgable and patient. We are very happy with our new lease. I don't know if Folsom Lake Hyundai is a pilot program for how dealers and car buyers should interact, but if it is not, it should be. Dealing with Edwin and David was an unexpected surprise and we are very happy with the vehicle we purchased. Edwin strikes me as a manager who knows how to create a balance between accomplishing company objectives, while bending enough to meet the customer's needs, in order to make a deal happen and being enjoyable to work with through the process. My thought going into the process was that this was a game. The dealer plays the game, the buyer plays the game, and like in poker you're just trying to play your best hand. Edwin made the point that it isn't like poker because there is always a loser in that scenario and that his goal is to ensure that both parties feel like they won. It's a great approach and that's what happened when we purchased our car last night. David was also a very knowledgeable sales person and I felt as though his knowledge of the product was greater than my own. In comparison, we shopped at a couple other dealers and the sales staff was uneducated on their product, the sales managers were arrogant, and they had the attitude that they didn't care whether they earned our business or not. I don't think I've ever written a review for anything, which tells you how much I valued the experience yesterday with Edwin and David.

They are very friendly with no big pressure. We had looked a few weeks prior because our current car from Hyundai would be coming due soon from a 3yr lease. We test drove and narrowed down what our next lease would be and they were very kind at that time. About a week after we were there (still 5 mos prior to our lease being up) they called and said they had "exactly what we wanted." We made an appt. and when we got there they didn't have exactly what we wanted but searched the database. While everything took too long and I was a bit bothered that they didn't really have what I requested they came up with what would have been my 3rd choice. Overall I like the car so far and both sales guys (both named, Dave) and the Manager, Edwin were kind to us.

This dealer is probably average when you consider car dealers. Most of the people with which I dealt were very nice, after all, they are trying to sell you something. I feel the purchase of my Tucson was efficient and average from what I would expect of a reputable dealer. With just over 7000 miles on the Tucson, I had planned on upgrading to a Genesis. I worked with the "powers that be" to make this happen and was quite surprised at what happened. This dealership wanted to discount my Tucson 57% as a trade-in after only 7000 miles. That is a truly great deal - for the dealer. Needless to say, this was one sale they missed. Judging by how much this dealer depreciates their product, I will certainly not be a repeat customer and will be highly suspect of the Hyundai brand from any dealer.

This dealership is unbelievable! My husband went there on a Friday night to purchase us a family car. We loved this 2011 Chrysler town and country that was priced at $16,999. They offered him a loan with 16.9% interest and I wasn't delighted about that interest rate. So we got in contact with our bank and got approved for $19,000 with a 6.29% interest rate. We called back and they made it pretty clear they were upset that they were losing out on those extra few thousand dollars because we got a private loan not theirs. So they upped the price to a little under $19,000. We were okay with that since we got approved for a little over the amount they were asking. We had the bank send over the approval info and the dealer mike that we dealt with said he would pull the van off the floor and hold it for us since we were in lake Tahoe for Easter. We were supposed to go sign the papers tonight and pick up our family car but then we received a phone call from the dealer mike informing us that they sold our car!!! They told us we should have bought it on Friday and went back on their agreement to hold it for us. Guess they didn't like that we got a better loan so their promise to hold it was really a promise to hold it until someone who will use their loan for more money comes along. When I called to complain the sales/finance manager refused to give me the info to his higher up aka GM and kept trying to justify selling the car we were promised and admitted he was the one that sold the car and insisted it was because someone saw it online, came and asked to see it and that because it was still on the lot he absolutely had to show it and sell it to them regardless of the fact that we had a check from our bank already being sent to them and car insurance for the car! I guess they lack common sense and common courtesy! I get better customer service at McDonald's!

I had a great experience at Folsom Lake. Everyone went out of their way to be extremely polite and attentive from start to finish. Larry was my salesman and I couldn't have asked for better service.Even though I was buying a used Hyundai he treated me like I was spending a million bucks. These are experienced salesmen who know how to treat customers and don't mind doing whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable with your purchase. They were patient and polite throughout the whole process and although I thought I was already pre-approved for a good interest rate through my own credit union the finance department actually got me an even better interest rate on my car! PS. the car I got was the best price with the lowest mileage in the area. I drove from Oakland to Folsom for it and I'm glad I did!

Most of the deal went fine, really the only part I didn't like was when the finance manager was tring to push me into getting all these extra things when I didn't need them like gap- I put so much down that it was literally 4,000 $ under it value and I plan on paying it off quickly but was just pushing it to where he was making me feel stupid but I knew exactly what I was doing.

Actually, I want to rate the Folsom Huyndai dealer which is the same owner as this Roseville and hope they can get feebback, the manager Drukoski ( he tried to hide his name so I can't speel it correctly) is the worst sale manager I ever met. He chased us out today by not wanting to deal with us on the price or making order for us. I was surprised since economy is down, they should value the customers. No wonder the dealer doesn't have good business. He chased out all the customers and just want to get paid for not bringing $$ to the dealer owner??
