This is a great place to be, if you are looking for an excellent, professional and unparalleled customer relations service. I came in to check out their collections, and my eyes caught their 2010 Chevrolet Equinox LT AWD with about 73,000 miles. The sales agent, ALEX is a fantastic salesperson and an amiable young man. He was very courteous and knowledgeable in his field; and above all, he was patient and willing to explain to me in details all the clarifications I sought concerning the vehicle. Even when my questions were repetitive and unintelligible, he was not perturbed, but eager to clear my doubts. After all the necessary inquiries, I indicated my interest in purchasing the vehicle, which was super clean, by the way. Then came another issue, which was supposed to prevent me from buying my dream car. It was the issue of my no credit history. But they (Alex and Muhammed, the Manager) were more than willing to step in and help. In a couple of minutes, my credit request was approved and I began signing the paper necessary documents. The most interesting aspect of this place is that their staff are well-mannered, and always ready to help. I could call and text ALEX anytime, even on his off-days, and he would attend to me promptly. In a nutshell, ALEX is the MAN!

Working with me and making sure I was comfortable with my payments and making sure I understood what I was signing. They didn't try and run game on me . Wish if I could give them a big round zero.So bad experience while reached over there.I had an appointment.We were on time.Respective agent was busy with some other customer.We have waited for approx 30min then another agent came to attend us.He has quoted an impossible rate for the respective car which we have selected from the internet.They have given maximum 5minutes to attend us.I don't know if they have any agent competition.But a total waist of time and very bad experience.

I went there in Oct 2015 looking to purchase a SUV. Mohamed assisted me in my transaction. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He worked out the best deal for to fit my budget. I went to Foreign Auto Imports, Monday-June 9, 2014 to purchase a car. After signing contracts and paying a down payment of $2000, in which finance manager asked me to lie to Credit Acceptance Company of Nevada and report to them I payed a down payment of $3,800. The car had various interior defects such as dirty seats, carpent, burned and holes in seats and doors. This 2008 Nissan had broken out dashboard parts in which they promised to fix. Foreign Auto Imports failed to share with me that the air conditioner was not working. I began to feel like I was being pressured into taking the car off the lot just so they could make a sale. Both manager and salesperson and finance manager were trying to SCAM me.suspected fraudelent activity, but I was unsure if I could back out the control because I felt uncomfortable with everything I was seeing. Above all I encountered that day at this disgrace of a car lot. The major issue was the broken driver seatbelt, according to the law this vehicle should have not been on the lot for sale with defective seatbelts, which could cause death or serious injury. I expressed to the workers I would not move this car off the lot with broken seatbelts, he in turn said "you can buckle your driver seatbelt into the passenger side seatbelt". I continued to refuse and grew rather dissatisfied with the lack of concern, professionalism, safety, etc exhibited by Foreign Auto Imports. Due to my stance on not driving the vehicle saleperson offered to drive me in the unsafe vehicle off the lot to his friends auto garage. At the garage both saleperson and garage mechanic broke apart rear seatbelts and removed pieces from rear belts to attempt to fix front driver seatbelts, while observing the men I noticed the salesperson slide on of the broken springs from the rear seatbelt into the driver seat folder compartment so I would not see. I demanded to returned back to the lot and refunded, called my attorney of the $2000 down payment I was given $1200. The charged me for a security device in which I never used because I never left the car lot with their vehicle because it was unsafe and there was no airconditioner. My hard earned money which I I saved was taken I gave them $2000 down payment on a car I never drove away with. I was cheated out of $800. They gave me back $1200 of the amount I gave. I received horrible customer service, scammed into purchasing a lemon and asked to lie to the bank about how much I paid.

Not being that familiar with Irvington I was somewhat skeptical about what I would find. However, I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. I am not the type of person who normally would write a review but am doing so to express what a good job Adam and Mohamed did for me.! They stood by all of their promises and I unconditionally recommend them to anyone looking for a used cars...

All the reviews are dishonest just like this place I don't know where they get their cars all I can tell you is choose another place to purchase a vehicle unless you wanted to be ripped off . They'll lie to your face and tell you nothing's wrong with the car but won't let you start it up yourself . Both Mohammed's do not trust them! Bought a car and now having starter issues as well as engine problems , save your yourself the hassle and go somewhere else . Truth.

i financed a truck with these people on April 30 2013. not even a week later the engine began to make a weird noise then it would not drive. we took it back and they treated my boyfriend and i like we were idiots. one of the salesmen took my boyfriend for a ride in the truck so he can hear the noise. the salesman then left my boyfriend two blocks away and told him its his problem so he has to deal with it. we spoke to the manager and supposedly the sales person almost got fired.(I doubt that) that was strike one. the manager then took the truck to his mechanic and he was told that the engine needs to be replaced. the manager did not want to pay for the new engine even though i had a 30 day warranty with them for the engine. instead he made us an offer that at the time sounded real good. he will pay for a rental until my warranty kicks in with the finance company and they will pay for it. silly me. the truck was in the shop for about a month. i get the truck out and the very next day the water pump had to be replaced. a few days later the starter had to be replaced then a belt then the battery connectors. then yesterday I was driving and the truck just died. it will not start. I had to leave it in the street and it is now towed by the city of Hoboken. i had the truck for two months and it has been towed 4 times and in the shop 6 times. I am currently seeking legal advice and action. I am inches away from losing my job because of all the days i missed or left early or was late because of the truck and my boyfriend lost his job because the truck left us stranded last week. please do not do any business with them. learn from my mistake and shop around. they also tried to charge me 700 for the registration when it should have been 200 which is all I paid to them. this 2004 truck has given me more of a hard time then my 1993 Toyota that at this point I wish I can have it back.

I Bought my 1st car a few months ago now, and I have to say I feel sorry for those who had a neagtive experience. Mine however was positive, I took my ex with me because everyone always says as a female take a man along. I did my reseacrh before hand and knew what questions to ask, needless to say my Honda Accor has had zero problems to date and I couldn't be more happy. The staff was very friendly and easy going and they were in no way pushy. Thank you to Adam who was my sales man. I would definitely recommend my frien or family which I actually have doen. When it's time to get my daughter a car I will definitely look to Foreign Auto Imports first.

Called for information on a vehicle in stock. Sales associate could not be bothered to answer my questions, and made it souund like a hassle to look up any information on the vehicle I was interested in. If first impressions are everything, Foreign Auto Imports should close the doors.

Terrible place to buy a car. Felt harassed and those guys have no respect. The car that was sold to me kept showing the engine light they fix the problem only by turning it off by their machine. Don't know how these scammers are in business!

I was surprised on how unwilling these guys are to help!!! I have NEVER felt as if I can't afford a vehicle. Even the MANAGER seemed if you not bringing in at least $5,000-$10,000 down then they have no time for you. WOW!! Give your business elsewhere. They try to give you a car that sounds terrible don't want to even show you anything else as if you bothering them and the customers are the ones keeing them open. RUN DON'T GO THERE!!!!!!!!!!!

DONT SHOP FOR A CAR HERE. MY GIRLFRIEND GOES HERE STARTS UP A CAR WITHOUT TEST DRIVING IT. THEY PROMISED HER A TEST DRIVE BUT MANAGED TO GET A DOWN PAYMENT FROM HER AND A SIGNATURE FOR LOAN TO COVER THE REST OF THE BALANCE. WE WNT TO GETV THE CAR 2 DAYS LATER, THE TIME THEY NEEDED TO DO REPAIRS. SOON AFTER PULLING OF THE LOT THE SENSORS STARTED GOING OFF AND THE CAR WOULDN'T GO PASS 30MPH SMH AND ON TOP OF THAT SHE OWED 5000 ON THE CAR. THEY RENTED HER A CAR WHILE THEY COMPLETED MORE REPAIRS BUT THE CAR STILL WASNT IN GOOD CONDITION. IT WAS A "LEMON" !!!!! WE GOT OUR MONEY BACK

While shopping for a used car I stopped by this dealer in Irvington nj when I suggest not to buy a vehicle I was cursed at. I was denied exiting from the dealership office and almost assaulted by one of the salesman . Very bad business practices in this place there's a car for sale . With cash price if you finance with buy here pay here it goes up. If you finance it cost even more . I would never refer anyone to this place. If you buy from the dealer if you catch on to there in house financing tricks and decided not to buy they treat you like scum . Dealer has 4 negative complaint within the last 12 months With the better business beauro.
