When trying to confirm details and pricing for a service appointment I kept getting transferred to another department. I was told by the general manager that I would receive a call the next day from the service manager with the cost of the service plus a discount. I never received the call and 2 days later I called and spoke with Andrew who gave me a $10 discount (hardly enough for the inconvenience). He quoted the job at $350 plus tax. When I checked out and reviewed my receipt I was charged $359.95 + misc charge $25 + tax. When I asked for a refund I was given the run around. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told he left at 4:00 it was 4:02. No one could give me a refund since in their words “I already paid the invoice”. I was charged the same price that was quoted without a discount then scammed another $25. They tried to say misc charge is part of tax when there was a separate tax line. I highly doubt tax on a service job is over 10%. It seems like in order to make up the discount they were supposed to give me they added an extra charge. I’ve never had an issue with this dealership in the last 6 years but they lost a long time customer over a few dollars.

I went online to make an appointment for an oil change and the next available time was 10 days out. I called a number and again, the next appointment was 10+ days out. So, I just drove to the Fox Valley Buick-GMC dealership and they worked me in that day. They were efficient and courteous and all went well. Truly appreciate them.

We stopped in initially to look at a Caddy they had on the lot, which was nice. We told our salesman that we also were going to check out this Lincoln down the road. Turns out the Lincoln was at another one of their stores, so it was brought to us so we could compare side by side. The car was for Dad and he was in love at first sight with the Lincoln, so we went with that one. But our salesman, Ricky Nilsen was the best car salesman we ever experienced. Real nice guy, went out of his way and patient. You need a vehicle, go to Fox Valley Buick GMC and ask for Ricky.

Went to Fox Valley GMC to look at a Mazda CX-9 2008 that I had viewed on Cars.com app on my phone...I have to say that the suv crossover was exactly as it looked on photos. I made it there by 9 and was out by a quarter til 11. Great service with no hassle...and Myron Brown aka Ronny made the experience that much easier...my Mazda has been running great and even though I was a little sceptic about the vehicle because of some reviews and people experiences with the vehicle. My experience so far has been it takes 3 visits to get to the root of a problem I'm experiencing with the car. Previously, a wobbling/vibration in the wheels - on the third complaint the car was sent for a high speed check before the problem was fixed. Came in with my 2014 Sierra that had some pitting in the wheel finish beginning. The service manager walked around each wheel with me to examine the areas in question. Sales process was good. We spoke with Alex on the phone before we came in. He was very good at providing accurate information to us. Sales Guy (Mike) and Finance Guy (Tommy) were good too. No high pressure sales job and we appreciate that. However, we specifically ordered floor mats, and were told that we would hear back from Mike in 2 days since he was going to place the order for us with the parts department. 4 days later, we haven't heard back yet. We've called him and have not received a returned call which is disappointing.So, we called parts dept and ordered the floor mats ourselves. I feel like once the sale was completed we mattered less.

My AC was broke on my 2014 Enclave and a part needed to be ordered. I wasn't happy that I'd have to wait a few days for it to come in, but I had no choice. But for some reason, the part came in the next day, so I brought the car back. Since it was going to be an all day job Seth in Service got me a loaner car. I appreciated that! The AC was fixed later that day and I couldn't be happier. I've been working with Seth for some time now and I believe he's the best service person you've ever had! I feel so much better working with someone that I know & who knows me. Also, he's very personable and I like that he takes the time to thoroughly explain the repairs to me. Most importantly, he treats me with respect.

This is my second GMC Acadia Denali that I have bought from Fox Valley Buick GMC. I was very pleased with the first one I bought and the service I received at your dealership.When it came to buying another Acadia Denali, I first went to Fox Valley Buick GMC, met with Tony Fulco and received some initial pricing. I then did some internet pricing and went to another dealership to do my due diligence. I then came back to Fox Valley Buick GMC and negotiated my final deal which I felt was very fair. Had I not done my research, I'm sure I would have been satisfied but never sure of how satisfied because I didn't do enough comparison shopping.Throughout my dealings with Tony Fulco, he was very patient and professional. He explained everything thoroughly and I never felt like I had to play any games in completing the deal. As my wife told Tony, "my husband is probably your worst nightmare". Maybe so, but Tony was an excellent salesperson and I felt we hit it off well.I'm sure that I will be not only satisfied with my new Denali but the usual service I have and will receive from Fox Valley Buick GMC in the future.

My wife and I just stopped in for quick look at a truck we saw while driving past. I had noticed the truck for a few weeks and finally had sometime to stop in. After we looked at it and around it I walk inside the dealership and asked for a new car salesperson. The girl at the desk called up Chuck Gonzales. Chuck was very polite and showed us more about the truck and talked to us like real people not just a sale. We exchanged cards and I told him that I would be back around 9am the next day. When I go there around 930, Chuck just got done with the morning meeting and he and I started to talk about the truck. He asked if I had a trade in and he took my keys, we then started to talk about the price of the new one and what I would like to pay etc etc. Never once did I feel over pressured to buy the truck. Chuck did everything to make me feel at home and comfortable with himself and the dealership. We settled on a price for both the trade in and the new truck, I signed the paperwork and owned the truck. After the deal was done, Chuck had to drive me back to my business which was only 5 minutes away, but nevertheless that was going beyond what I ever thought anyone would do for me. Later that afternoon once the truck was done getting the undercoating and whatever else we put on it, Chuck once again came and got me and my daughter. He then spent about 30 minutes with us explaining things inside it and how to work the buttons, which was great. He also called me two days after to make sure that we didn't have any other questions about anything inside cause if we did he would help us or get the answer for us. Chuck gets a A++++ from me! I have bought many new and used cars and there has never been a salesperson that has gone as far as Chuck did to make the deal and after the deal a great experience. I have already told a few people that are thinking about getting something new to go see Chuck before they do , at least give him the chance to earn their business.

We traded in our old Acadia for a new one and we were very happy with the experience. Everyone we worked with along the way was very personable and professional - the ladies at the front desk, our sales guy Tony, Justin (one of the managers) and Alex the finance guy. There's a lot of down time while the paperwork gets completed so I meandered through the dealership - it is very clean, the waiting room was very comfortable, the other sales people were personable and other customers seemed happy with their interactions. All the work was completed satisfactorily and one part was ordered that the technicians determined needed to be replaced.The only thing that I had any concern with was the timing as I was initially told that the oil change/tire rotation would take about 45 minutes and then the update of some sort would take another 30 minutes, however the total time that the work took was right near two hours and I was using my lunch hour plus to have this work done. Not a big issue, but I am a stickler on time use.

The service portion was excellent but when I went to pay, my credit card was found "not valid" (unnecessarily embarrassing). I believe it was a combination of the cashier swiping too fast or an older credit card reader. Anyways, I had her try a couple of times with the same result, so I used another credit card. After this occurred, I contacted my credit card company and they unlocked my valid card again and it worked fine later in the day. I was told by the credit card company that once the card is swiped a few times for the same amount, it is locked. My recommendation is that the dealership should update the credit card equipment, swipe a little slower and finally if the card doesn't swipe right, try manually entering the card like other businesses do when this situation arises.

Michael was very down to earth. I like the personal touch I received from Michael, Justin and Nate. Their personalities would make any mom proud to call them son. I was taken care of each time with very little waiting and when there was a typo error Michael made the trip to my home instead of me making an extra trip to the dealership. Within that time frame, he took the time when it became obvious that the repairs would run over, to come up apologize and assure me that the job would be done within the next 1/2 hour or so (and it was!). My girlfriend and I went to Fox Valley Buick GMC after researching and finding a CPO GMC Terrain. I originally spoke with Barry from their Internet Sales department to set up an appoint/test drive of a CPO vehicle we saw through Cars.com on their lot. Once at the dealership we work with Alex K and he was great. He was very knowledgeable about all the cars on the lot, and if he didn't know something he made sure to find out that information for us right away. Although we were open shoppers and looking at a mix between base and upgraded models, Alex was not pushing toward any vehicle in particular. He simply provided us with great knowledge about the differences between to the models so that we could make the best informed decision for us. We did end up going with the upgraded SLT model over the SLE as the price difference wasn't too much higher especically when taking in to considering all the luxury and safety upgrades the SLT model came with. Great car, loving the smooth quiet ride, for anyone looking for a small SUV I would recommend the Terrain. With the V6 engine I'm averaging roughly 22 MPG in the city and in a recent road trip to WI averaged 29 MPG and at one point had it at 32 MPG before we hit some road construction traffic. For anyone use to driving a smaller car to average those MPGs you really have to take your foot off the pedal and maintain speed. I typically drive a few MPH faster than posted speed limits around town. Great dealership to work with, they are all about customer satisfaction and leaving you happy with your purchase and service through them. I walked in with a lease that was significantly over mileage do to moving across the country twice in about 2.5 years and longer commutes when I was living in FL. They worked a very good deal out with me to buy out my lease. All CPO vehicles come with lifetime free car washes, and 2 yrs/24,000 miles of free oil changes which may be standard with CPO but this is my first so I was impressed with that. All in all very good customer service, great buying experience with Alex. Would recommend if you're looking into Fox Valley Buick GMC dealership to ask for Alex!

I bought my Sierra 1500 a week ago and am very happy with my purchase. When I test drove the car it was indicting low air in the right rear tire, when I drove off the lot they had fixed that problem. However a couple days later my information center once again told me the tire was low on air, I checked and filled it myself, but called Fox Valley and told them that it would appear that the tire has a slow leak that they did not fix before they sold me the vehicle. They were completely understanding, and fixed the tire with no cost to me. I have had issues with dealerships before and am very pleased with how this situation was dealt with. Going in undecided between an Acadia or Sierra Truck, the team fought frigid temps and deep snow moving vehicles around for our convenience to test drive. This review is a bit overdue, due to my own personal need to ensure that my review statement correctly communicates my experience with Fox Valley Buick GMC.My wife and I had come to a decision that we needed to purchase a family vehicle that would complement our growing family. We had begun doing some research on a compiled list of vehicles we felt would suit our needs primarily focusing on SUVs from Ford, Chevy, and GMC.During our research period we used various online and offline sources of information to help guide our purchasing decision and filter down to which vehicle(s) we felt fulfilled what we needed and wanted out of our family vehicle. We first looked at the Ford Escape, since it seemed to offer some value to what we were looking for, and the experience my father had at the dealership where he purchased his Ford Fusion. We quickly crossed out the Ford Escape, due to our adjoining surprise of the extremely poor experience, and treatment that was given to us at Bob Rohrmans Schaumburg Ford dealership, and also the various consistent negative remarks from several online and offline sources regarding the vehicle.We then came down to the decision that it was between the Chevy Equinox and the GMC Terrain. Overall both vehicles our approximately the same, and built off the same assembly line. Personally, in my opinion I believe the largest difference I saw was the body style, aside from that, certain details here and there. We both felt that the GMC Terrain offered us a certain look and feel about it that distinctly suited us more appropriately.I visited the GMC website, and used their Build and Price tool service (I believe is mostly GM wide), which in my opinion was a great end-user experience, to identify what package offerings would best fit our needs. This service also showed us which dealerships in our described radius had those vehicles in their inventory.We first visited a local Buick GMC dealer that is close to our residence, to view the GMC Terrain up close, and we were ecstatically impressed by the vehicle, but unfortunately not the sales team there. I revisited the GMC site again using their tool again, and called a couple of dealerships performing my initial reconnaissance. Overall, I believe we contacted, and visited several dealerships, but the one from initial contact, and final visit that impressed us the most was Fox Valley Buick GMC. My initial contact with Fox Valley Buick GMC, was pleasantly initiated with Amanda. I informed her that we were looking into purchasing a GMC Terrain, and currently shopping around several dealerships looking for one that was Summit White, and was either AWD, or FWD with a possible interest of the safety package, and cloth interior. At this point we had not physically visited this dealership, but I already had felt as if they were proactively working with us and gone out of their way to find the vehicle we had been actively searching. Amanda, later in the week followed up with me (Christmas Holiday week), stating she believed she had found a couple of vehicles that fit our criterium. Unfortunately, my currently pregnant wife was unable to come with me, but I was accompanied by my father to visit the Fox Valley Buick GMC dealership. On our arrival, we were greeted by Ted Wenecki, and informed him that I was there to see Amanda. Unsure as to the reason, nor did I ask, but Amanda introduced Ted as our sales representative. Ted showed us one of the vehicles that Amanda had located for us, that overall had the features we were looking for and then some, but unfortunately it was more than I what felt was needed. Ted asked me, and I was extremely impressed by this, what were my needs and my wants, and he had separated this off into two columns. We concluded that with the price point we want to be in, and the overall needs, The GMC Terrain SEL base package would be the best and financially acceptable route. At this point I did not feel that Ted was trying to get a quick sale out of us, but offer us a vehicle that would appropriately fit and be with my family and I for a while.Ted began some of the paperwork, and then introduced us to Tommy Gonzalez the Finance Manager. I informed Tom my credit isnt the best, but he informed me not to worry, we will see what we can do for you today. After processing everything, Tom distinctively and precisely described the breakdown for me regarding: trade-in, money down, financing etc., within three optional routes. Prior to that day I had visited numerous dealerships within that time frame and the past, and at times I had to argue to see the numbers listed out. With Ted and Tom, there wasn't even a moment I had to even think to myself about asking them to see everything listed out. Overall, we finalized everything, and extremely satisfied that we chose Fox Valley Buick GMC as our final dealership. Everyone we interacted and came in contact with was great. My start to finish experience with Ted Wenecki and Tom Gonzalez went above and beyond all our expectations when dealing with a car dealership. I believe they have set an unreachable goal for others dealerships in their industry to emulate from.Closing points:Almost a month from our visit we have been more than satisfied with our choice of vehicle, and dealership. We have already taken advantage of the courtesy wash that is offered through Fox Valley car dealerships as well, and find it to be satisfactory. I do believe though that I received a better wash at the Fox Valley Buick GMC previously than at the Fox Valley Volkswagen.

Our experience was enjoyable although it took longer than it should have because we returned from driving the car before that first salesmen came into work. Everyone was pleasant, courteous and informative. Although I think the Encore was a bit over-priced because it was new, we got a fair deal.I would consider buying another Buick if GM made a true sports sedan under the nameplate. However, front-wheel six-cylinder vehicles are not of interest to someone looking the a car the has better capabilities (like the Grand National car of yester-year).Since I'm a wine importer, why don't you give every buyer a bottle of wine as a "thank-you"?

I took my 2012 Z71 in for an oil change and tire rotation. I have had the truck just under a year and the truck is right at 15,000 miles. The tire rotation could not be done because the service director, Joy, informed me that there was excessive wear on the front tires and that I should get new tires along with an alignment ( which is not covered under warrenty). I was not real happy with the findings but went on my way. I didnt understand why you needed tires and an algnment on a 1 year old truck. The next day Joy called to inform me she had made some contacts and they would replace the tires along with the new wheel alignment all at no charge. Joy could have very easily let this matter go but chose not to. It's nice to know there are still service departments out there that still care. The people at Fox Valley Buick GMC were incredibly helpful to me. I had a pretty small budget, but they worked hard at trying to find me a suitable used vehicle in my price range. They even brought a couple of vehicles over from somewhere else that they thought would work, but after they inspected the vehicles, they decided they were not good enough quality for them to sell. It made me trust them even more, knowing so many car dealers would easily sell these vehicles to me. It seems they have pretty high standards.All the staff were very friendly to me, had great attitudes, and they all went out of their way to help me in other ways as well, such as because I was moving to another state soon after buying the car, they were able to get me the title in time before I left Illinois.I know others who have bought cars from Fox Valley dealerships, and they all have had very good experiences.

After stopping by there once to "kick some tires", by my second visit, the dealership's team already knew me by name! Very cool. Additionally, I appreciated Ted taking the time to ask me questions about what I was needed in a vehicle. From there, we looked at enough that I was able to make an informed decision. There were a few non-negotiable items on my "wish-list". Hands Free, Navi, Price, Color, misc options, and the sales team at FVBG did a great job making all these work in tandem, with my new 2012 GMC Terrain. I have gone through buying my very first car with him to now leasing and have nothing but positive feedback to give. Knowing what a loyal salesperson he was, I took it upon myself to call him to see if he could further extend his service for that leasing purchase. Without question, Ted met me at the Volkswagen dealership to lease me my very first car. It is unlikely and quite difficult to find a person as dedicated to his/her job as Ted is. Now, when I go to the dealership(s) I am always greeted with open arms by Ted and everyone else there. I am so pleased with my visits that I now take the time to bring them cookies or a sweet treat of choice to show my gratitude towards Ted and everyone else. Without a doubt, I highly recommend Ted as your car salesman at any and all Fox Valley Dealerships. First and foremost, in all my years purchasing vehicles, I would have to say considering how late we ended up staying (1:30AM), each and every person that my wife and I worked with us was very professional, polite, and very friendly. We actually walk in the door about half an hour before closing but it was on a return visit so we could test drive the vehicle and meet with Tony the following day. We had no intent on keeping everyone so late! However, everyone was very courteous each and every step of the way. We originally didn't want to go forward with the deal since Tony wasn't there but he said to see Dan so we did and left that night very happy! John moved things along quickly and and kept the ball rolling. Tony looked into the vehicle that we were interested in and "went above and beyond" with answering our questions, that is why we came by for the test drive. Long story short, we left that night with our new vehicle, feeling great about the deal, and being treated like we were guests in their home was just beyond more than words could express. I can say that I will HIGHLY recommend this dealership and that we appreciate the time/energy that was put into taking care of us! A couple of days after our purchase, we received thank you card from Tony in the mail. Thank you Tony and the rest of the team!!

My wife and I went to Fox Valley Buick GMC just to look at the 2012 Verano, Regal and LaCrosse. While I was sitting in the LaCrosse, Ben Stiritz asked me if I was comfortable. I replied: "I would be more comfortable on cloth seats." After a few more questions, Ben said he would bring a LaCrosse around for us to take a test drive. It was the "perfect" choice for us so that when we got back, we started to discuss price. He gave us a deal too good to pass up and we did buy that evening.We had been at the previous Buick dealership in St Charles a number of years ago and found we did not want to do business with them! Please note that our purchase of a used car was done via internet and phone as we are in New Jersey. However, we were treated with the utmost of respect and everything possible was done to get this deal through for us. My son has been looking for a particular Make/Model/yr auto for the past 3 years, via internet, local dealerships, and even a visit to a dealer in NY which turned out to be a disaster. That dealer lost a sale of nearly $15K because he wanted to charge us "EXTRA" fees for "running the car through our shop" -$595.000)and "doing the paperwork to have the title issued in NJ" ($395.00). Fox Valley accomodated us in every possible, including sending paper work overnight for signature, accepting a wire for the $$ and a minimal charge of $160.00 for getting the paperwork done so that WE COULD REGISTER in NJ, as we wanted to do with the NY dealer, however, he would not hear of it.....Told us..."These charges are all required under NY law..."however, in checking with another dealer in the same area, we were told something entirely different. Now that I know about this website, I intend to also "RATE" that NY dealer !!!Again, hats off to Fox Valley, most especially, Ben Stiritz !

Last year when my Pontiac needed service, I took it to Fox Valley Buick GMC. Despite the fact that diagnosis of my intermittent problems was a challenge, Thomas Mack the service advisor was extremely patient and the service people took all the time that was necessary to solve the problems. He was very courteous and professional, and he carefully explained to me what needed to be done. It was nice to get the feeling that this was a dealership that truly cared about its customers.While in the past I have sometimes left other dealers' service depeartments saying "I'll never go back there," this time I was so pleased that I did come back a few months later - to buy a 2012 Buick Regal! They found me the exact car I was looking for, the price was right and I received a fair trade-in on my Pontiac. Christina Wickersheim was especially courteous, not only during the buying process but with her followup after the sale. I would certainly not hestitate to recommend Fox Valley to anyone. I walked in the showroom and was approached by Kendenn. He showed me the Lacrosse and Regal. Asked what was important to me and actually listened. Being a woman shopping for a new car by myself was intimidating but Kendenn explained the different motors and other inside stuff I did not know about. I immediately felt VERY comfortable with him. His demeanor is very approachable and not arrogant, as I have seen other salesman in other dealerships to be. Let me start by answering why I have given the rating I did for Fox Valley Buick/GMC.From the very first minute that my wife and I walked into the dealership we were very impressed with the size and layout of the showroom floor. While still taking in the beauty of the vehicles that surrounded us, we were introduced to Kendenn Serra. Kendenn instantly put us at ease with his non threatening yet informative approach to discussing details about the vehicle we were interested in. He patiently and professionally answered every question we had, and promptly put us in the drivers seat for a test drive. While on the test drive, Kendenn went on to explain the background history of the dealership, and the outstanding moral qualities and character of the owner himself, which meant a great deal to us. He continued to easily field any further questions we had during the remainder of the test drive. We found Kendenn to be very approachable and transparent in his delivery of what many times in the past(at other dealerships) has been the dreaded negotiation process.He made sure we were in the vehicle we wanted for the right price. Dwayne also stepped in at this point to assure that a very fair price would seal the deal. Later in the process, Martha took us through a speedy trip on the paperwork side of things expertly executing all the pertinent information without a hitch. Honestly, this is the only dealership we have ever walked out of not feeling like we had been taken advantage of in some way. The staff exceeds in relationship building, not just making a quick sale. Our driving distance to the dealership is 3 hours one way and we will joyfully make that same drive again when its time for our next vehicle. Let me just start by giving you some background on our family. We have 4 kids: Gage who is 5, Tate who is 3.5, Sidney who is 3.5, and Cody who is 3.5. When we got pregnant with the triplets, we did not have a car that would hold more than 2 kids let alone 4. We turned in my car which I loved for a 2008 Acadia. This car became the only car that we could use to go anywhere as a family. A year ago, we got the opportunity to sell our house and move to a house that had land with a fence where our kids could play for a small increase in our mortgage. This moved us 20 minutes from our daycare where our kids had went since they were born. The daycare was still on my way to work, so I become the one to drop the kids off and pick them up. As the economy got worse, my employer streamlined to do more work with less people. I quickly found myself working late many a night. With me driving the family vehicle this also meant that the kids would end up having to stay late at daycare. Sometimes we would not even get home for dinner until it was bath time. My husband could not easily drop the kids off as this was the opposite direction from his work plus we never knew what days I could possibly be working late. When the triplets came into this world, our finances quickly took a turn for the south. To have 4 kids in daycare basically takes my whole paycheck which means my husband's paycheck has to cover everything else. Since our move we had constantly stated how much easier things would be if we had 2 cars that held all the kids. Last Friday night, my husband decided to venture to Fox Valley in St. Charles to see if he could find 2 cars that we could lease that would hold all 4 kids. We did not want to buy a used car as we could end up broken down with the kids or sinking money that we did not have into a possible lemon. We knew with our current car payment we could not afford to buy a new car, so leasing would be our only option. So while I fed and bathed the kids, my husband worked with the people at Fox Valley. My kids were worried that we would end up getting a car that would not hold all of them or would not have a DVD player. With the commute to daycare and with the grandparents living so far away, the DVD player has become very important to all of us. So while the kids worried what we would get, I was worried about my husband. I knew only what was going on based on our text messaging. I could only imagine what he was going through based on our prior car purchasing experiences (i.e. sleezy salesmen, stressful, bullying). Unfortunately, my husband was unable to find 2 cars that would meet our budget. On Saturday, we receive a call from Christine. She believed she had found 2 cars that would meet our prefernces and budget. So with kids in tow, we ventured from Oswego to St. Charles to see what Christine had found. When we entered the buidling, almost ever employeed greeted my husband by first name and said hi to each of the kids and myself. I started wondering where we were as no car dealership I had ever been to had been this friendly and nice without seeming fake. Unfortunately, one of the cars that was found did not necessarily meet my preference. I drive an hour to work and an hour thirty back so a comfortable car similar to my Acadia was my desire. Christine and Ted spent a long time trying to find 2 cars that would meet our small budget, our kids criteria of 4 seats & a DVD player, and our preferences. When they would find cars for us to look at, Ted was always so polite to exit himself and allow us to talk. Many car salesmen stick around to ease drop or pressure. All day long, Ted was always pilot and not rude...even after it had been many hours with us still looking for cars that met our budget. By the end of the day Christine and Ted were able to find 2 cars that met all our family memebers' needs. The experience while long was a completely different experience than any of our past car buying experiences. Our kids were even calling Ted, Uncle Ted at the end of the day. Even after we had agreed to a price, Ted still watched out for us and would check in on our kids while we worked with Finance to sign all the papers. In three years when our leases are up, I know for certain that we will be looking for Ted and Christine to work with on leasing or buying another car(s). I am open to any questions you might have on Ted or Christine and highly recommend them and the St. Charles Fox Valley GMC dealership to all of our friends and family.

Two years ago I went to the St Charles Buick to purchase a new Enclave and undoubtedly suffered the worst experience of my any car shopping I've ever done. After 12 years of wonderful service, our Oldsmobile Silhouette developed some major problems, and we decided it was time for a new car. Our experience with the service department was a good one; Thomas provided excellent work and reasonable prices. We decided to begin our search for a new vehicle at Fox Valley Buick-GMC. Thomas introduced us to Ted Wenecki. Ted was cordial, helpful and knowledgable, and helped us in our decision to buy instead of lease based on our ownership history. The showroom was beautiful and provided us with a good selection of vehicles to consider. When our initial color choice was unavailable, we were given an incentive to opt for a different color...nice! Christine helped us through the GMC family plan process, and Martha was a wizard with the paperwork, warranties, financing and rebates...fun too! When I returned the next day...both Ted and Christina greeted me by name at the door, and Christina informed me that we were going to get another rebate from GMC family! This has been the best experience I have ever had when purchasing a car. The staff are friendly, knowledgable, funny, and are not overbearing. We felt welcomed and relaxed throughout the entire process and feel we received an excellent and honest deal. We highly recommend FoxValley GMC.

Each employee went over and beyond their duty to get me the specs and price I was looking for. My car broke down and they picked me up and put me in a loaner. They took the time to listen to my financial situation and the items I was looking for in the car. I came in alone on 3 occasions, the first to ask some general questions and look for a model that fit me best. Tommy did not look at me with scepticism and had no looks of "oh hey its just a kid looking to just poke at things" as other dealerships have to me in the past, instead he brought up answers to questions i had not even prepared. second visit i asked a few more questions and he met me with yet again a professionalism i dont normally get at my age (27). With good intentions in mind, he was nice enough to bring the truck in question to the front and let me poke at it, he also offered a test drive, but i politely declined due to the nature of traffic at that time, (diddnt wanna take the chance). Our third visit i brought my dad and we just took some pictures and i let him see what i had researched. upon my fourth visit we met with tommy again, it was only meant to discuss financing, but with tommys help i actually heard my father say something i thought id never actually hear, "ok lets do it" (as he surrendered his dodge ram keys). we traded a 1998 dodge ram, huge beast, 150$ to fill the tank, we had just replaced the trans, and not 1 day after my 3rd visit, the ABS went to hell, 115k miles, dissapointing lifespan, Witch led me to my gmc experience, my fathers chevy conversion van hit 175kb4 replacement and even then it was much easier, bearings are easy to fix, easy to work on. i had an S10 chevy wich overall was a great truck, but i got it from carmax and they put a cheapo power door system in a manual one and somehow messed up the electric system, i feel really bad trading it to tommy, cuz it made it to the dealership then committed suicide and could not be restarted. getting back on track, i give TOMMY 5 for his professionalism, extra 5 for his cooperation, 5 for dealership presentation, 5 for service. my only complaints if any, are the road of its location, but that was the slightly difficult road entering and exiting the dealership, and a minor misunderstanding with the installation of a trailer hitch, there are 8 points of bolting, they used 6 and installed over the other two, it was incignificant, easy fix and wasnt life threatening or innapropriate.

Glen and Martha are amazing! We had such a great experience the first time we went to look for a Terrain, that we decided to go back a few days later and trade in our other car for a Cruze. We are very excited and ecstatic about both of our purchases and couldn't be happier with how knowledgeable, helpful, kind, considerate, professional, fun/ny, and genuine all of the people we encountered at Fox Valley have been. Martha made sure we were aware of all of the perks of our warranties (which we shopped around at other dealerships and found no one else could come even close to matching), asked us questions about how we would use the cars so that she would know what would and wouldn't be applicable to discuss with us, and worked hard to get us the best rate possible (she even went above and beyond to get us an additional discounted rate after we had left her office just to help us out some more). Glen was awesome as well. He did everything he could to get us in a range we felt comfortable paying by asking us what we were expecting/hoping, which ultimately meant we got an amazing deal for both our trade-in value and the price of both cars we purchased. Even while I was having difficulty deciding between two different vehicles, he made sure I didn't make a decision I wasn't 100% comfortable with, gave me time to think about it, let me take the cars for extended test drives to really see which fit best with what I would need, and answered every question I asked. It made me feel like he genuinely wanted to make sure I would be happy long-term. Martha and Glen were so friendly we made sure to go back and visit a couple of extra times to say hi! I couldn't recommend this dealership more. FANTASTIC experience.

I was looking for a very specific vehicle to tow a large trailer and a dealer down the street tried to take advantage of my situation by not being upfront on what they would give me for my trade in until they located the vehicle I needed. Stopped in on a whim and ended up with a new(er) car! Ben was polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. Usually I absolutely hate new car shopping because it takes soooo long to look, negotiate the price, and then sign the paper work - but we were driving out of the showroom with our new vehicle in about 2-1/2 to 3 hours. Remember, we went in on a whim ~ I went with my daughter once to pick-up her new car and it took about 2-hours just to sign paperwork. The actual 'signing' for the car took about 10-15 minutes and the lady (sorry didn't catch her name) was very professional and quick. Since this was an impulsive visit - we had not eaten - when Ben found out he took us to the staff room where there had been an Italian feast catered in. So far we are totally pleased with the purchase - can you ever be totally satisfied with price? Ben did such a good job - my husband, 30+ years in sales) made a point of telling the owner. I would recommend this dealership and Ben to friends and family. We are looking forward to coming back for free car washes (the Yukon is a massive vehicle) and oil changes.

I went to three dealers before deciding on a car. The first visit to Fox Valley was great. Glen was informative and friendly and since I wasn't test driving the car, he wasn't pushy by asking for all of my personal information. I chose a car at a different dealer due to lower miles but they were difficult to work with and wouldn't budge on the price or my trade-in. I then went back to Glen and he made the process so easy. I was extremely satisfied with the purchase and the price. My only mark down was that within the first day of having the car, I found a few items that need to be repaired that I thought should have caught before selling the car. Knowing that I have a certified used car, I'm sure they'll fix these items in no time!

From the start, our experience started off positively. Ben in sales was very professional and friendly. He did a good job in anwering my questions. Unlike other car purchases in the past, I did not feel pressured or overwhelmed during negotiations. The negotiations were comfortable and, in the end, I do believe we got a good price. Ben also spent plenty of time with me after our purchase to make sure I was comfortable and knowledgeable on the user functions of the vehicle (e.g. how to set the seat memory).Martha helped me in processing the paperwork and she was very friendly and pleasant.When we purchased our car, we opted for the treatment protection plan (where the interior/exterior is treated and protected as well as warrantied against stains and certain damages). A few days after picking up our vehicle after it was treated, I realized that the small box containing the remote control and headphones for the rear entertainment were no longer in the trunk...we still hadn't unwrapped them and put the batteries in. Although there is a small chance that my wife or I misplaced them, I called service and spoke with Tom Jahn. I explained to him what happened and hoped that maybe the box was accidentally left at the dealership when the car was being treated. Tom checked and asked around but the items were not there. Tom then said to come on in and gave me a brand new unopened box containing 2 new headphones and a remote. He then apologized in the event that it was the dealership that misplaced them. I have to say, of all the dealership service departments I have been to, this was the most generous and professional customer service I have received...especially since there is still a very small chance that my wife or I may have misplaced the items. My hats off to Tom and his department for this exceptional service.I do look forward to having our new vehicle serviced with this dealership in the future!

I had my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix towed to Fox Valley GMC due to it not being able to start. The first time I called the Service Dept. to advise them of my situation they were very helpful and gave me the phone number to a towing company. My car was towed to them and the next day Tom John advised me that my remote start and alarm system was the problem causing my car not to start. He advised me that in order to fix the problem, they would need to remove my remote start and alarm system from the car. They did so and then I picked up my car. They next day I went to start my car and it was doing the same thing (not starting) that it was doing when I had it towed. I called Tom back and advised him of the situation. He immediately called the towing company and had them pick up my car from my home. He appologized due to the problem not being fixed the first time around. They had my car for 5 days trying to figure out what was exactly causing my car not to start. They found the problem and fixed it, always kept me up to date with what was going on. They even installed my remote start and alarm system back into my car because it was not the problem. Tom was extreamly helpful and honest. I could not believe how determined Tom and the service dept. was to find and fix my problem. I've had my car back for 3 days now without any problems. I would definitly bring my car back here to get fixed in the future and refer others to them.

Salesman Ben Stiritz was great. Did everything right. He gets an A++Dealership stepped up and includes an upgraded dvd headrest package when the car I was looking for was supposedly sold by the dealerships owner.I was given a loaner car twice, once to get home after the car was bought, because it was not ready to take. The second time the next day when they were installiong the dvd head rests, which were in stock, which was great.The only reason I did not rate this as GREAT is because when I walked in no one else wanted to go out of there way to help me. I guess to everyone else I was Ben's customer. I had to wait until Ben got in on Tuesday to get the loner car. Ben told me he told the others that if i showed up to give him the Terrain, no one did.When I dropped the car off today for a free car wash, 2 of the service men saw me and neither of them said a word to help me for over 2 minutes. I had to walk up to the desk of the one guy before he engauged me.

Christina who is the sales manager saw my interest in a used truck and was e-mailing with me till 10pm which made me want to go into her dealership to look at trucks. I got to the dealership she came out to meet me and I dealt with Glen, one of her salesman who was just as friendly. I ended up buying the Honda Ridgeline from them. I brought the truck to my mechanic to check it out. He mad me aware of all 4 tires being dry rotted and that is not safe, and a cracked taillight cover. I emailed Christina and she looked into it. And with great customer service she got me a new cover and 4 brand new tires for only $142, they covered the rest. When I got there I made them aware of a creaking noise when making left turns. Ended up being a cracked stableizer and Christina had that fixed at no charge. So even thought the used truck had a few things wrong with it. Christina and Thomas(service tech) made everything right. I would recommend these guys and would buy another car from them.

While purchasing 05 Audi as is, it was later discovered that the two rear wheels had minimum rubber one definitely below theGMC Standard and asked about moisture in the headlights it was explained the car had been on the lot overnight. After these deficiencies were established, the sales consultant was recontacted and indicated that the tires met minimum GMC standards, not correct. Also when asked about seals of headlights indicated responsiblity of purchaser. Mr. Ballantyne was quite courteous however not quite forthcoming as to the condition of the vehicle. I find leaving two poor tires in the rear and two fairly new tires in the front kind of a cheesy way to do business. The price was reasonable, it appears that this dealership is pushing the GMC certified used car seal of approval to the limit. I would suggest anyone using this dealership to not take them at their word but to check out any vehicle thy purchase with caution. Friendliness is not necessarily what it appears. BUYER BEWARE. Yesterday, 8/22/11 I was contacted after writing the above by the Gen. Mgr. Christina Wickerstein of Fox Valley Buick who indicated she wished to insure customer satisfaction and had recently assumed her position after the inspection of the above vehicle. The Audi was brought to a certtified Goodyear tire center which confirmed that the two rear tires were in such condition that it was difficult to believe they would pass the GMC Pre-Certified inspection properly executed. Ms. Wickerstein upon confirming this information was gracious enough to insure her dealership incurred the cost of the tires and the realignment of them. We are very satisfied with the response to our problem. It appears that the oversight occurred prior to the new management assuming control of the dealership.
