Just an overall fantastic experience. I stopped on my lunch break and happened to find the exact car I wanted. I did a quick preliminary with my trade and a drive and went back to work. By the end of the day I could pick up my car with under 1 hour of paperwork necessary. Allen in sales made the exchange flawless and Kevin in finance really was looking out for my best interests. A 10 of 10 experience and the best part is i get points based on my purchase that I can use as cash toward my next Fred Beans experience.

One of the nicest, customer-focused experiences I had purchasing a car. A price was reached over the phone subject to a trade that died in the parking lot. Dan Sweeney worked through the issues and I drove the car home at the agreed to price. We have purchased vehicles from other area dealers as well as dealers in other states over the last 30 years - this is the only dealer that we purchased a second vehicle from. The fact that we came back without a hesitation speaks volumes to the Fred Beans culture - BRAVO!

I purchased from this dealer based on a recommendation from a friend who has bought many cars from them. I found the truck on line and traveled one and half hours from central Philadelphia. I purchased a 2005 Chevy Tahoe from the dealer and have owned it for seven months at the time of the review. I absolutely love this truck. The reason for the bad review is the inability of the staff as a whole to provide great follow up service. Once they got the money the attitude was perceived as "Why are you bothering me?" Two days after purchasing the truck the water pump malfunctioned. This did not upset me because it is in reality a high mileage older truck. I called the salesman and asked what to due. My call was never returned. I called again and the salesman would not take my call and instead put me on with someone in service. The service advisor was rude and dismissive of my claims about the water pump. I collect and work on classic cars, so I know enough about vehicles to get me by. I asked if they were going to provide a loaner car since I had to travel such a far distance. The service adviser stated no because "We have already sunk a lot of money into this vehicle!" So instead now I had to get my pregnant wife, load up our two children under the age of five, and tie up my family for approximately six hours to travel to and from this dealer. It also took several calls and about five months for me to receive the tag registration and for the bank to get the title. I would never go to this dealer again.

Today, Saturday April 9th 2016, I was able to walk away with a brand new 2016 Chevy Silverado 1500 all thank you to fantastic help of one of the nicest, caring, kind salesmen that I have ever met, Zack Tuck and the wonderful staff of people there. I walked in Friday the 8th looking to just sell my truck and get a check from it but from the gracious help of Zack I was able to get a brand new vehicle! My family has been coming to this dealership for many many years and has bought many vehicles!. They have the utmost respect for there customers and treat there employees as if they were family! Their facility is always very clean! The service department has a wonderful staff! They are always so friendly and always explain everything to me before they would do any work and they would go over pricing of what I would need would cost! The various service employees that work there never push anything on you that you do not need! They never try to oversell you, which is a great thing! The technicians that work there have a great attitude towards there customers!! They are all so knowledgeable in everything that they do that comes to doing their job and explaining different things to me!! I have noticed how well they treat each other and their supervisors!! I want to thank Zack Tuck for his amazing help in helping me find my dream truck! I recently bought a 2016 Suburban and found the purchase process at Beans to be very organized and efficient. Wade Fulp was my salesman and did an excellent getting me the best price at our first meeting. He then kept me informed along the way as things progressed using email and calling me only when necessary. All paperwork was ready when I arrived and no time was wasted. It was comfortable, personal and friendly yet very efficient. I've purchased several vehicles from Fred Beans and will continue to do so. Wade was the point man but everyone involved did a great job. I took delivery late on Friday afternoon, and they agreed to have the car back in the next week at my convenience for some touch up work on dings and scratches. As a car browsed online for a Chevy Traverse, Fred Bean Chevrolet of Doylestown seemed to have the best price. I contacted them and let them know I was interested in a particular Chevy Traverse but wanted to know if I could complete the whole transaction in the same day. Rob Ferguson, my sales consultant assured me he will make it happen "they won't go home till customer goes home happy." When I got to the dealership the Chevy Traverse was already waiting for me. Rob was very knowledgable about this vehicle and other models as well. While looking over the vehicle and during the road test I knew this was the vehicle for my family and I. We talked family, work and sports as we waited for my trade in appraisal and the financing to get done. I felt relaxed and comfortable. Chris was my finance manager and worked with me to make the numbers right. I never felt pressured and didn't have to go into my playbook for dealing with a finance department like I had to do in the past. My trade in license plates were taken off for me and the chevy traverse was even detailed again before I took it home. At first I was skeptical to go to a dealer that was a little over an hour from where I lived but the price was a great deal. Not only am I happy with the purchase I was happy with the staff I came in contact with Rob my sales consultant, Chris my finance manager, and Mark the General Manager. A trip well taken.

I called on a Friday morning and the service department got me right in. I really appreciated that as my passenger side headlight was out and it had already been replaced by the same service department a little over a month ago. I did not want to be stopped by a policeman again! The mechanism for the headlight was worked on this time, and it was completed free of charge due to the fact that it may have been missed as a problem before. Again, I was very appreciative. I was informed every step of the way, and as always received friendly and courteous service. Overall it was a very positive experience!

I have purchased more than a few cars whether for my wife and I or our kids. We were always using the same car dealership for many many years. I really wanted a newer truck and since I work in town happened to see one out front here. We went on a Sunday and looked it over and returned the following week to purchase and inquire. I did end up buying this beautiful truck, however it started out with some issues and I became very annoyed. It had been back to them and then after 3 weeks time I was just fed up and became more and more annoyed - Upon returning and advising them I was unhappy they were more than accommodating to be sure I left that dealership happy. Which I did, We ended up purchasing a brand new truck 2015 and I was offered a great deal on it. So from sales people on first visit to second visit to management to paperwork it was the bestI would recommend this dealership to all - They are terrific and aim to please!

Everything went fast and efficient even though my purchase was somewhat unique and challenging. I normally require all quotes and promises in writing and while I got notes and emails it seems I didnot need it because everything they told me verbally, whether in writing or not, turned out exactly as they said, ie they were honest. There was a problem with an installed accessory not caused by Fred Beans, but they made it right at their cost. All in all I am very happy with my experience

Picked-up my new Silverado 1500 LTZ 4WD Standard Box Double Cab with the Z71 Off-Road Package. Made an appt online. Received an email later that I'd get a follow up call. Received call and confirmed what I needed done. I called back a day later to change the service date and got calls and emails reminding me of the original service date. What a pain that was. Why were they not up to date with their system or vice versa. Brought it in, told me I couldn't wait for what I scheduled also didn't have on record correctly what I needed serviced. Again, what a pain it was and very confusing to them which in turn confused me. Numerous individuals on the take in, they were confusing themselves really. Took 8 hrs to only cause a problem I didn't have before going there, check engine light on forever more. Going out of my way to Flemington Chevy from now on. Nutshell: confusing, took way to long, too much money, caused a problem and on the smallest of things but still noticeable; they have an unpleasant waiting room, with old coffee and powdered creamer and uncomfortable chairs geez I miss the customer service at Thompson....huge difference if you need to wait there awhile and get updates....just saying. Love my chevy not the dealer.

I contacted Allen Schwartz online for current pricing and decided to stop by, I met with Allen got a reasonable price on my trade and bought a new Silverado. No bull, no delay, no pressure. I had an issue with my Chevrolet vehicle's timing belt. I was 18 days and 3,000 miles over my powertrain warrantee. Although I did not buy my vehicle at Fred Bean's, I do service my vehicle there often. In acknowledgement of only that, the Service Department at Fred Bean's Chevrolet took ownership of the issue instead of letting me escalate the problem through GM Customer Service in hopes of getting warrantee protection in good faith. I was very grateful for the resolution that we were able to work out and greatly appreciated the value that Fred Bean's gives to it's customers.

Recently I was shopping around for a new Chevy Equinox and Fred Beans was the local dealership that had the one I was looking for in stock. Me and my Dad stopped in and dealt with Tom Russell. Tom was very friendly and knowledgeable. He took us out for a test drive and went over all the features of the equinox. After questioning two salesman in reference to a certified 100k warranty advertised on a 2007 Avalanche they reassured me the vehicle was covered, although nether seemed to know for how long. I decided to take a look at the truck, after using a wasted vacation day, 2+ hours of travel time the truck didn't start and I found the certified 100k warranty was a "internet mistake"(which over a week later still has not been corrected). I always hate going to a dealership and being pressured. This was NOT what my experience at Fred Beans was. Our salesman's name was Dan and he literally ran around making sure we didn't wait any longer than absolutely necessary. He made us very comfortable and never pressured us in anyway. When we took delivery of our purchase he came out from the service area with a cleaning solution and rag. He was looking over our purchase and doing any last minute touch ups himself. I would highly recommend this dealership and encourage you to ask for Dan.

I had been dealing with Andrew Cohen via email regarding a particular vehicle. On a spur of the moment we decide to drive the 45 miles to the dealership. On a rainy day, unannounced we stopped by to see the vehicle. Well I was extremely impressed with the way I was treated. Andrew was very courteous and steered us to where the type of vehicle we were looking for was located. He did his as he was finishing with a customer. He then came and spent time with us and we found out the one vehicle we were looking at was sold. He then showed us other cars and explained the process if we decided to purchase. Never pushy always professional and left the decision up to us. We had one type of vehicle in mind so we went away empty but open to return if they get another vehicle like the one we are looing for.

Every time I have had my car serviced, I have been impressed with everybody in the dealership. When I drop my car off, the paperwork is handled quickly and I take the shuttle to work. The gas mileage is great but the overall experience with the car has been disappointing. It has been one thing after another, to the point that I can't wait for the lease to be over. I never feel confident that during everyday use it won't have another issue.

I recently purchased a used 2014 Ford Focus from the dealership. I worked with Dan Sweeney and he was very helpful throughout the whole process. I showed up at the dealership about a half hour before they opened to look through the lot on my own first. About 15 minutes before they opened, Dan came out and met me in the lot and asked if I needed help. Within an hour he had me test driving several different cars until I chose the one I wanted, which was priced reasonably. Nothing was forced on me during the process and every question I had was answered quickly. Everyone at the dealership was very helpful during the entire process, but my experience with the dealership was fantastic.

Unwilling to negotiate price. I had to constantly check prices on sales sheet from interest rate and every other number bring a calculator. So, they had to keep going back and printing a new one. The manager comes over at the end and goes over free PA inspection again never checking anything about me or my purchase. I am from NJ it was so insincere. Their satisfaction sheet only has a 100% box no other choices it really does not give you a choice. The salesman was very knowledgeable. and took the time to explain everything.

Great experience with 1st visit. Ken solved my engine light issue. I had seen the engine light on and called Beans. I spoke with Ken and I came in right away. He looked at the car and determined that there was a vapor leak. The gas cap was not sealed properly. I was done in 15 minutes, On the next visit the same week I had to replace the front right tire on my Impala. Sean took care of me for an 8 o'clock apt and had me out in an hour. If it wasn't for your service department you would have only received a 3 star review. When another person walked in the door my salesman immediately left me and gave his undivided attention to the other family. Never did he show me the vehicle, nor did he give me any instructions on it. Although it was a 2011 Buick Enclave, it was a new vehicle to me. My vehicle needed new brakes, rotors turned, tires balanced and rotated. The salesman never called me, nor did he email me to ask me if I was satisfied with my purchase. the service department took care of me, even though I had to use a vacation day to get it done. The detail job could have been better, no floor mats, driver light bulb was out, only a quarter tank of gas, and I had to wait for the second key to be cut. Like I said, if it wasn't for the service department I would have only given a 3 star rating, maybe a 2. And it took 2 hours to get there.

We were looking for a nice used Silver Avalanche but all we could find locally in NJ were black ones Searching the internet, we found one in Doylestown, PA which is about a 2 hour drive from us. We set up an appointment with Dan at Fred Beans to see it. Meanwhile, we were checking out a black one in NJ with lower mileage. Shortly before we were to see the black one in NJ, Dan called us. He convinced us it would be worthwhile to come down to see the silver one and, if we liked it, the truck would be ready for us to take home that day.We cancelled our local appointment and drove down to Fred Beans in Doylestown and we were glad we did. We dealt with Dan and Mark who were both professional and pleasant to work with. We were happy we made the trip and a little more than 2 hours later, we were able to drive our new vehicle home. But when the car was done the shuttle was not close by so someone from the dealership used my car to come get me. I found that wierd and rude that someone was driving my car. This is the second new truck I've bought from Fred Beans Chevrolet in Doylestown PA. Even though we live 50 miles from the dealership the ride was well work. We dealt with Andrew Cohen, a highly experienced and professional sales rep. I found a truck I wanted and Andrew and I discussed the deal over the phone. I got what my insurance company USAA called a great deal. It was made even better when I received a lot more than I thought I was going to get in trade in value. I knew the exact car I wanted but was on a time crunch due to the fact that my children are only in school for 3 hours and the dealership was about 35 minutes from my house. The salesman and the rest of the staff made sure everything went through as quickly as possible. I think it may have been the quickest car sale ever! First time at the dealership since my recent move to Doylestown from West Windsor, NJ. The place was immaculate, very clean but the Steve M. (I think) was extremely nice, friendly, helpful, explained everything, didn't take too much time and I only waited for 40 minutes. I live in upstate NY and I found this car through cars.Com and I immediately jumped on it and spoke with a salesman names Allen. Nicest guy ever. My husband and I have had some pretty bad credit history recently and he got us approved within a day or so with such an amazing interest rate and within a week my husband and I drove 5 hours to pick up our used ( new to us) toyota sienna. This is the second time we have traveled from central New Jersey, to purchase a car at this dealership. Our sales consultant Tom Russell went out of his way to make the process easy and enjoyable. The check engine light was on over the weekend, however it was off Monday morning when I took it in, the mechanic was able to diagnose the problem and offer a repair solution. As the expected repair would take longer I took a shuttle home at arranged for a 3PM pick-up. The desk called me in less than 2 hours to tell me the repair was complete.

I thoroughly enjoyed my new car buying experience at Fred Beans. My salesman Andrew Cohen was great. He took his time and explained everything in detail throughout the process. He answered all my questions and put up with me changing my mind from the front wheel drive Equinox (which he already had detailed and ready for me) to the All-wheel drive Equinox. He pulled the car and had it detailed while we went through the rest of the car buying process. Charles in finance took his time and explained that part of the process in detail. Andrew and one of the other salesman (forgot his name sorry) got me set up with my on star account and the app for it on my smartphone. The dealership was very clean and nice looking. Everyone was very helpful. It was a great all around experience as I was in urgent need of a vehicle and not sure what I was going to do. I am very excited and happy with my purchase.

I find it tortuous to go into a dealership. I hate games and wasting time. They all try to get you in there and I know why. I was contacted by Daniel Sweeney and he was a ton of help, he walked me through the process from the time I found the car until the time I purchased it. He made my transition from not owning a car to getting my first one really smooth. I have owned the car for a few months now and I am still in love. The service started off slow but improve quickly while looking at the cars. Got to test drive a Chevy cobalt and enjoyed it very much. All the stuff memebers were very helpful in all aspects of buying a car. They didn't push me in anyway which was great, made me more comfortable. The staff also did an amazing job pushing banks to approve a loan which took some time but they made it work at a price I agree upon. I would recommend this dealship to anyone looking for a new or used car felt like family.

I bought a used Ford Escape recently with Dan Sweeney, and had minimal issues and an overall great experience. I came first to the dealership's previously owned lot on a weeknight around 6, we were directed to Dan and he printed out all information for me about the vehicle I was interested in. He didn't try to get all of my information abruptly, as many salesmen do. He instead ensured that I had all of the materials I needed to decide on this car (as my first car!). My dad and I came back about a week later to buy this car, and Dan did a surprisingly good job of dealing with my sometimes argumentative father. He obviously has experience, and we bought the car-with a great discount-within 1-2 hours, including test driving etc. All issues (scratches, broken remote-key start) were fixed quickly and the car was delivered to my house ahead of schedule. Dan Sweeney made sure to make us feel like important customers, and not just a number!
2010 Chevy Equinox Nightmare

I bought a used Certified Equinox from them in March. In April I started having issues with it. I took it back, they "flashed the computer". 6 weeks later the same issue returned. They told me to take it to my local dealer for repair since I don't live close to them. I did that, the repairs from April were not in the computer so the local dealer had to re flash the computer. 6 weeks after that the problem came back. I called Fred Beans and spoke to Mark his attitude "I told you to take it to your local dealer" I told him I did. He repeated "take it to your local dealer or bring it back and I'll take it back as a trade in at trade in value". I called Fred Beans himself (who is at the Ford Dealership in Doylestown). He never returned my call in fact his secretary to me he told her to tell me he was "too busy to take to me and Mark was to take care of me". When I explained that Mark's reply when I said I was going to call Fred Beans was "go ahead he's just going to direct you back to me" She said well Mr Beans is too busy you'll ha e yo deal with Mark. Now here it is 4 months later and I have to pay $500.00 to get my car repaired because it's no longer covered under warranty and Fred Beans told me they won't do anything for me. I asked for the service records because they weren't in the computer for my local dealer to see and they gave me the run around about privacy acts and not being able to release the Information to me.

It was my first time taking my truck to get inspected here. I was charged a high rate for what had to be done but I thought it was understandable for a 10 year old truck. Break and rotors were replaced but now produce a continuous loud screeching sound because all the rust wasn't removed, we were told to come back after a week to reset the check engine light and were told that they would remove the rest of the rust. After dropping my car off I got a call saying that it would be an additional $500 to remove the rust even though they said they would take care of it. My truck is in pretty great shape for it's age, including a minimal amount of scratches, however, after leaving it there for one day, the amount of scratches nearly tripled including one running along the whole side, normally I'm not bothered when mistakes or accidents happen but all the scratches show the absolute carelessness in which the car was handled. It was pretty disappointing especially how hard it is to keep a car In good condition. In the end not only was I upset but I also felt ripped off and am certainly telling all my friends and family to not come here so that they don't feel the same way.

I found the car I was shopping for online. I spoke with Andrew over chat and scheduled my visit. Once I got there I was greeted by a very friendly salesperson who directed me where to go. Andrew, my salesman answered all of my questions and concerns and then I went for my test drive. Erica went with me and she was a pleasure to speak to during the drive. Got back to the lot and I was sure that this was the car for me. Andrew explained all of the bells & whistles that came with my new car, finished up the paperwork and got my keys. I was walking in the lot looking at cars at 8 pm and Dan Sweeney came running out asking me what I wanted. I told him and he took me right to the right car. It was a 2007 Suburban for my son who is returing from China after living there for 3 years. It was possible to text with my son in China while we negotiated for the car. I was even able to hold it for 24 hours just in case. Just in 24 hours Dan and I were able to secure a deal and the car is in my driveway. What a great dealer and what a great salesman. I enjoyed the whole process.

So many times you shop and either the car was just sold or not there anymore. Not here, I guess they must update their web page. Anyway, I went to the dealer and met with Bruce Hembrick. Bought a car and drove it home. The next day it would not start. It turns out the compression was low and the engine was shot. It took 3 weeks to get my money back because the guys kept blowing my calls off with lame excuses. The guys there seem nice but are super shady. Take your business elsewhere, trust me.

2013 Nissan Frontier, used. Negotiated a price off a "sale" price that was significantly lower than the original "value" price. Back and forth until we got to "the best price, no one else will match this". This was a cash deal - as simple as it gets. They were going to do me a favor by etching the VIN number into the window glass for security. What they failed to mention is that they would charge $299 for that favor. I had to ask and then declined. Then they had me sit in their service waiting area for 2 hours while they were "doing paperwork". The paperwork consisted of three forms and there was no financing work required. They then pushed multiple insurance and extended warranty programs while I was signing the paperwork, all declined. When I got home, I realized that the "best" price we negotiated was actually more than the asking price they had listed for the same vehicle on their website. Even worse, they had a $250 coupon on-line for pre-owned vehicles. Not only that, they had presented the vehicle as having one owner. That was true. What they failed to mention was that the owner was an Enterprise Rent A Car franchise - the vehicle was a former rental. That became obvious after finding old rental agreements stuffed in the center console.Very disappointing when people fit the typecast - used car salesmen. Personable, appear to be trustworthy... but actually con men, cynical. Caveat Emptor.

After visiting different dealerships and having varied experiences with them all, we can say that Fred Beans Chevrolet of Doylestown was a great place to end up buying our 2011 Chevy Camaro. We first dealt with John in sales, who allowed us to do a rather lengthy test drive which was crucial for the type of vehicle we were interested in. We officially handled the sale with Alan, who was extremely professional and made the entire process painless. We had initially gone to Fred Beans with the intention of using Capital One to finance through and thought we truly could not find a better rate, but Alex, in the finance department, found us an APR rate of 1.5% less than what we initially walked in with. Great company, great people, and we'd definitely do business here again.

I have known Jason Sigafoos for many years through our association with Emergency medical Services. I saw on social media that he found employment with Fred Beans in Doylestown, at their Ford store. As we all know this was a nasty winter, and my primary vehicle was a 2013 Ford Mustang GT. I love the car 90% of the time, however with being in public safety I knnd to love my vehicle 100% of the time. I contacted Jason, to see if he could make a deal for me at the Chevy store, and he was able to do so. We chatted on the phone a few times, and on this past Wednesday evening we met at the Chevy store. I knew the exact vehicle that I was interested in. I arrived to find that truck was sold minutes earlier. Jason went out of his way to make a deal. Mark Dohahue was looking over my mustang, and was very pleased with the car. Jason knew that I had my heart set on the Blue Topaz Silverado, and try as he might, he knew making me happy was paramount. A similar vehicle was located,and brought to the dealership. The truck was prepped, and all the paperwork was completed by the time I arrived Friday evening for delivery. I found the truck to exceed my expectations. I am now the proud owner of a 2014 Chevy 1500. I am very happy to be part of the Fred Beans family. I look forward to many more purchases from Jason. From Jason doing the sale, Mark taking care of the trade, and Charles handling the closing this was truly the most pleasant car buying experience I have had to date. My story goes well with the salesman named Andrew Cohen. I present the offer to buy the car to him and he takes over from there presenting the offer to the sales manager. The sales manager and Andrew look at the numbers and if it looks good then they come back and tell me the car is mine. I then go over to the accounting department and process the paper work and in about two hours of my time I leave the dealership with a new car right off the showroom floor! The F.B. team was in full on professional mode taking care of the transaction as quick as posible. I was very impressed to see the dealership staffed fully for the night even at 8:30 at night! Every customer that walked in the door was well received by a member of the FB team. The place was alive with a BUZZ of business and getting things taken care of with every member of the FB team doing their part to meet the customer's needs. I left happy and content at 8:40 PM that night knowing that it was a great car buying experience for me. Again I am genuinely impressed with Andrew Cohen and I can see why he has been named salesman of the year many times and why so many customers write him letters of appreciation upon the sale of cars. Shopped online for a few months looking to trade away a truck. Found a sweet deal at Fred Beans AND they offered what Kelley's quoted for my truck. Held it over the weekend for me. When we got there to seal the deal every thing was straight forward. Andrew Cohen is the best, always friendly and answers questions we don't think to ask. Plus, he stands by his word. Apparently the car was priced incorrectly, but Andrew stood by his original offer. Love that there's no hard sell or funny business. Everybody's really friendly and Chuck is crazy funny.

I bought a 2014 Camaro and The Prce was pretty good.During the financing the Business Manager kept pushing a tire plan!He kept pulling underhandd tricks buy showing the 400 dollar Price tag in the paymentS!I finally agreed and took the beaitiful car home!At 73 Miles the ransmission started to clunk in reverse!I checked all the fluids and found that the oil was 2 quarts low,No washer fluid in car and the tire pressure was 6 pounds low in each!The car was never prepped!Whoever put the tag on drilled the holes in the wrong place so the Bumper was ruined!While bring the car in to have the trans checked and stripes ordered that were damaged,the blower Motor strted to sqeack,the left window regulater was scraping metal on metal and there waas a whistle in the My link system!Larry a tall Bald manager who would not give a last name came out when I got there and demanded the deal be recinded which was fine with me becauuse if they cant fill the oil how can they fix all the issues!My Salesman was very nice!I feel bad for him because he lost a commission!I even called the owner at hi home and talked to his wife who was very nice!Never heard from Fred Beans,so I imagine hes another rich owner who could care less!

I dropped off my truck for an oil change and tire rotation, and needed it back by noon. Knowing that I needed my truck for noon, they scheduled the work to be done by 11am. Unlike many people, I love the haggling process of buying a new car. I was knowledgeable of what I should spend, and hope to spend. Surprisingly, your first number was very acceptable (with a little fine tuning). No haggling was necessary. Maybe that's why 3 of my last 4 cars came from Fred Beans Chevrolet. Also, Allan Schwartz did a real good job.

From the start, GM Tim Mears and Sales Consultant Andrew Cohen were first-rate on providing information on the purchase of my new Chevrolet. Usually (and in my past experience) it is a tug-of-war in trying to obtain the best value for the money spent on a new car, but I did not have any negative experience at Fred Beans Chevrolet of Doylestown! In fact, I was able to obtain features that I wanted for my car which I know would have been much more expensive at a competitor's dealership. I was pleasantly surprised at my bottom line, and did not go away from the lot with the "omg what have I done" feeling, as I drove away. I highly recommend this dealership!

In the midst of Christmas preparations on the Friday before Christmas, my car battery died. I was glad I purchased the GM protection plan - the car was towed to Fred Bean. I called the service department ahead of time to give them a heads-up. They were able to get my car back to me by Saturday at 4pm, despite the fact it was a Saturday. And the shuttle driver was kind enough to come get me, even though it was a Saturday and the roads were terribly log-jammed with traffic. Thank you Fred Bean.

Our salesman for most of them has been Andrew Cohen. I trust him like a brother. He is the most ethical salesman I have ever bought a car from, and I have purchased 40 in my 50 years of life! The entire team of Mark, Tim, Charles, Paul and everyone else employed at the dealership are a pleasure to deal with, from buying a car to having it serviced. We have all of our maintenance done at the service department due to the high quality and fair pricing. I would recommend them anytime for all your car needs. I must say that I need to redact my review of Fred Beans Chevrolet of Doylestown. I did say that they were polite and patient with me and my questions however, after having taken the vehicle purchased within 18 hours from the night previous purchase to a mechanic, I found that there were at least $3000.00 in additional "required to drive" repairs were needed, i.e, water pump, starter, wheel bearing, front head light, et cetera needs replacing. Now, any accredited facility would have found these issues, whether major or minor and address them with the buyer or fixed the problem themselves. We paid too much for the vehicle in the first place and then have to add an additional $4000 in repairs. Upon e-mailing my salesman, no surprise, no response. After having paid for more than half of the repairs required, we were then dealt with additional repairs needed in order to drive the vehicle. Proper mechanics and honesty with consumers obviously is not a priority with this company.

What started out as an end of lease, last minute, return-replacement car for myself (with our Sales Professional, Andrew Cohen,) quickly turned into a first time buying experience for my daughter, a recent Penn State graduate and we ended the day driving home two new 2014 Chevrolets with two terrific lease contracts, both far below what we were paying for the previous vehicles.My daughter was thrilled to be given the tour of the new Fred Beans facilities and was introduced to my long time favorite Service Advisor Paul Reese. Within a few weeks, we had all new owners cards and insurance cards, etc. and thought why not? Back to see Andrew Cohen to see what we could do with the old 'truck' and within another week we were driving a new Equinox as well on an even more favorable lease. I moved to Bucks county in 1999. My son played football at a field where Fred Beans had advertisements along the fence surrounding the field. I liked what the advertisements said and he supports little league. I thought, Wow !! Here is someone that gives back to the community. I remembered this when I needed to buy another car and then went there to check them out. I have since then bought five cars from Fred Beans within the last 9 years. Two for me and one each for my three children so they would have a vehicle to go to college. Each time I got a great deal on the cars I purchased. Other dealers couldn't even touch Bean`s deals and the condition of those vehicles. All like new, very clean and detailed. When I need service, I`ll call, set up an appointment, drop car off first thing in the morning and if it needs a few hours worth of repairs, they have a courtesy shuttle service that will drive you home and pick you back up when repairs are completed. That`s totally awesome !! And its free!! The drivers are also very friendly and conversive. I`ve had a few emergency issues with my kids cars and they took me in right away and took care of their problems. I cannot say enough about how good their service department is and how well they take care of you. Steve, Paul, Rick, Donna, Andrew and the tech guys, You all Rock !! You too Fred !! Truck in for inspection, a very small body repair, and a check for a coming road trip. Service handled all. Additionally, due to a glitch on a previous visit, service had truck washed and waxed. Very much appreciated. We did have another glitch on this visit - being a lost remote key fob for the truck. Service provided a replacement, though we currently have a programming issue with the new fob. Truck is due in today so hopefully this will be cleared up today.

We bought a Cadillac XTS on October 31, 2013 and a new Chevrolet Volt a week later. Stephen Svarckoph was our salesman for the Cadillac and I contacted him for the Volt. The staff are always professional, courteous and genuine concerned about the customer's problems and/or needs. Finally, you're always made to feel like you're part of the Fred Beans family. Bruce, salesman, was an extreme help, he made me less nervous and he even called me on his day off to assist me with finding the car that I really wanted. I wrote a review two weeks ago about my horrible buying experience with Fred Bean Chevrolet in Doylestown and then sent a certified mail to the owner of Fred Bean on 8-19-2013. The review WAS NOT show up in the website AND NO response from the certified mail. Consumers aware: dealership ONLY post positive review and block negative. Fred Bean sold me a brand new Explorer Clevey Van was damaged and missing Navigation and they force me to accept it with cheap repairs. I brought the van a month ago and this problem still not resolved and they have not refund my money.

Of all the years I have purchased cars, I have never had such an amazing experience as I did with Fred Beans Chevrolet. Tom Gillespe and Allen Schwartz were two of the best sales guys I could have asked for while going through this experience. I can honestly say that they surpassed any expectations I had during the experience of purchasing a new car and the customer service support they provided to my wife and I after purchasing the car. A lot of times, you get a great sales person and come to find that the customer support and service afterwords is mediocre at best. Not with Fred Beans...it's the complete package and I would recommend them without reservation. I think the fact that they are privately owned and run really gives a strong sense of customer loyalty, a family atmosphere and a company you can trust which in these days is hard to come by. Coming from a person who works in the service industry, I can say that Fred Beans Chevrolet has far exceeded my expectations and is second to none when it comes to their customer service. What a wonderful experience from start to finish !!! Our knowledgable and experienced sales representative: Andrew was competent, patient and informative throughout this hassle free process. Then we moved to Christophers office to complete the financing(he's the numbers guy), who went above and beyond to find us the very lowest possible rate. I swear that guy just didn't give up, and we laughed and joked with him the entire time(we wanted to stay longer just to hang out with him), such a lighthearted and carefree gentleman who you can tell loves his job, and was a pleasure being around(your lucky to have him)!!! Then we meet the owners daughter, and laugh and joke with her. Everyone was so personable, we felt right at home. Lastly, the president:Mark Donahue, strolls right up to us and makes us feel like V.I.Ps, and spends more time making us know for certain that we bought this car from the right dealership. We ended up taking pictures, since this was my daughters first car that she purchased, and they made her feel so special, and for a young lady that is a big deal. Women often feel intimidated at a dealership and that was not the case here. Every consideration was made for my comfort, understanding of the vehicle, it's history and well thought out and communicated delivery and communication throughout the entire process. This was the best vehicle buying experience we have had since 1992. Salesman went out on a very rainy evening to get the vehicles we were interested in, brought them up to the building so that we did not have to get wet. Our salesman was personable, did not pressure us. Can't say enough nice things about the whole experience.

Perhaps I was informed that the work I needed taken care of with my car when the parts where ordered; however, the maintenance staff were professional and endeavored to management my expectations. The chief of the section informed me that they would do all they could to ensure I did not have to stay any longer than I had to. Fred Beans has a very professional and caring staff, from the front line to the back office. I would love to work with this team of professionals. Are there any sales positions available? They have truly cultivated a culture of professionals.

This was the easiest car buying expierence we've ever had. It took a total of 3 1/2 hours for the entire process and we walked out with our new vehicle that day. Not one hassle! They were ready for us before we even got there. We had our 2 young kids with us. They never minded they were running all over. They offered us drinks and use of the tv. they gave us the price we wanted. Not one person there was your typical pushy salesman. Our Salesman was Charlie Glover...the nicest guy and so honest! They were all so friendly. Even the service guy was so friendly, talking to our kids and giving them treats. We can't say enough good things about them. Will definitely return for our next purchase.

We were in the market for a new 2013 Chevy Tahoe. It was a big purchase and we wanted to make sure we were getting the best deal out there. After taking a look at the car at Fred Beans we then went out to a couple of dealerships to see what prices we could get. A bunch of dealerships tried selling us cars that were out of our budget and comfort zone because they had it on their lot and went into the whole sales pitch about how the car was a great deal. Steve Levans and Fred Beans took the time to find the right car for us in our budget. He even beat the prices we received from other dealerships. The entire car buying experience was really easy and not stressful. Steve had us in the car we wanted, at the price we needed in a week. It's truly a great dealership to work with. Considering I've never in my life written an online review they definately did something right! Price is one thing but getting the right price with oustanding customer service is priceless. In the past three days I have been to Fred Beans and bought a 2010/2011 Equinox one for myself and one for my daughter. When we need to find a car we use Fred Beans in Doylestown. It is close, convenient and a pleasant shopping experience. Our sales rep is Andrew Cohen (number one in our book) He is friendly, professional, personable, funny, and his experience and knowledge of finding a car right for you is impeccable. He will not just sell you a car, he takes great pride in helping you in all aspects. IE: Safety, price, and meeting your financial needs. We Love him! Now if you ever need service done to your vehicle the service department is just as courteous, caring and friendly, I highly recommend them. We moved to Bucks County about 10 years ago, and this is our 3rd car purchase from Fred Beans dealerships, and our first Chevy. We had originally planned in buying a new SUV, but as we entered the showroom, a red Malibu on the showroom floor with a terrific price, caught my eye and I asked for a test drive in that car. The dealership staff immediately moved the car through the showroom doors, and we took it for a ride. We purchased that car that day! The staff quickly worked out the details and I drove the car home. An SUV will now have to wait to become our 4th purchase from this great family of dealerships. Hats off to the GM, Mark Donahue, who was constantly out on the sales floor meeting and greeting all of the customers, and who truly made this purchase a happy experience. We will not buy anywhere else.

From the time I called Fred Beans of Doylestown till I finaized my purchase the people of the dealership were second to none. Andrew Cohen handled my inquiries, had the car ready for a test drive when I arrived and worked fairly with me to finalize my purchase. We drove 75 miles from Maryland to purchase our 2008 Tahoe LTZ from Fred Beans and it was definitely worth it. The salesman who helped us, Charlie Glover, was very friendly and accommodating. My family and I went to Fred Beans Chevy yesterday to "look" at a new Chevy Cruz. I said "look" because I usually end up angry on the first visit to a dealer to buy a car. However, there was no anger involved in the trip and I never felt pressure or that I was being lied to or taken advantage of. From the sales person to the manager to the business manager, the whole process was courteous, Professional and friendly. We brought my 18 year old daughter with us and every person we dealt with made her feel like part of the process, not just a kid that was tagging along. Atta boy to Charles (Finance), Tim (Sales Manager) and John (sales). They worked as a team to help my experience in buying a new Avalanche work in a positive way. Frustrated with Philly traffic (a two hour delay) I vented when I walked in to John who took it in stride and wasn't bothered a bit. He immediately offered me water and apologized for my inconvenience (that was not even the dealers concern). I wasn't sure I was buying initially as I wanted the best deal for my trade-in in addition to the price on my new vehicle and was shopping dealers. They met my expectations with flying colors. I might add, again! I bought my new 2011 Avalanche from this dealer and was willing to drive 2.5 hours to compare there offer as they provided the best deal and service then. The buying process took more time than I would have preferred, however, although I had called ahead for a time window, I ended up being over two hours late. We brings me to another positive point; the staff stayed over there closing time to complete the transaction! Not a hard sell type of atmosphere. Very comfortable and positive experience. I would be willing to do business with them again.

Great team of individuals! We were looking to trade in our minivan for a SUV. We knew we would owe more than our trade was worth. We also knew what we wanted to pay monthly. It started out almost $100 more a month than we wanted to pay. Of course we said NO. This is our budget and we are sticking to it. They eventually were able to come in at $8 over our budget! They worked their tails off to get us into the SUV we wanted! They paper work was ready when we came in to pick up the SUV. Everyone was friendly and courteous! They even have a little child area with books and toys they kept our kids (2 &5) busy for the most part. Thanks for all your hard work Fred Beans!

I took my time to research which Camaro I wanted. LT or SS? 1 or 2? They were very patient and helpful in that process. Charlie G. was great. He answered my questions and let me try them out. I gave them what I wanted when I finally decided, and they got it in a couple of days. I got the 2SS. But I wasn't pressured by them to get the higher end, more so from my friends. :) No regrets. No surprises or undue pressure. Which is important to you if you're reading this like I was. I've also heard very good things about Fred Beans from humans (not just online) over the past few years. That got me to go there. Their AutoRewards program that you get seems pretty neat. You basically get discounts, free service and other stuff for doing what you would have to do for your new car anyway.

My husband and I had the best car buying experience. We've bought several cars over the past few years, this was hands down the best experience. Our sales person John was great! Funny, friendly and understood our needs. Charles in finance was fantastic as well. He explained everything in detail, and made the tedious process of purchasing a car fun. We were able to also connect with him on a personal level which made us feel even more comfortable. The GM, Matt, I think, he was super friendly. He had nothing but a smile on his face the whole time. We just happened to be there for their new car dinner. We were floored at the effort the staff made to go above and beyond for their customers. The dinner would be something to attend after purchasing a car to meet staff and learn new things that are going on in the company. To sum it all up,we couldn't have made a better decision to buy or had anyone better to deal with then the people we did. Thank you all!

My husband was not actually looking to buy a new car. He walked in to discuss selling his Silverado. We had actually talked to another dealership, who offered us much less than we KNEW the truck was worth. We also had a Bonneville that we traded in as well. Vince talked to my husband about how easily and financially feasible it would be to put us into a new Equinox. Well, to make a long story short, the next day I drove out with a brand new car. Everyone at Fred Beans Chevrolet was welcoming. Vince introduced us to the service writer that we would have for the car. He sat with me in my new car to set up the Onstar, answer questions about the seats, radio, bluetooth, and assured me that I could call him on his cell phone to ask any questions I might have. We were offered refreshments, and invited to an upcoming customer dinner and educational evening. This is our 8th car purchased through the Beans corporation.

I spent alot of time shopping around for a new car and dealt with a lot of car salesmen and managers. I really felt comfortable with the salesman (Bruce is great) and the managers at Fred Beans Chevrolet. They are very respectful and sincere and it was a great experience. Shopping for cars with kids is not easy and they had a playroom, food, drink and plenty of ways to keep the kids busy so I could concentrate. I love my new car and had a great experience at this dealership!

Planned to just stop take a quick look at a few cars on lot, and ended up leasing the next day. Had great interactions from start to finish walking through showroom to the parking lot, and salesman named Bruce was an absolute pleasure from start to finish through ENTIRE process. Never did we feel over pressured or fed lines to buy, very up front and knowledgeable staff ... we can say we honestly enjoyed shopping and buying from this dealership. Really felt staff there did great job communicating info in timely manner and worked to get us most rebates possible, which blew other dealers away. Met manager named Mark on first day that clearly knew his stuff about best approach to making a deal but more importantly understanding of our particular situation and very fair ... would do business with them both again in a heartbeat, in fact plan to get our second car there ASAP! All of the Fred Beans dealerships in Doylestown are great; the service was absolutely excellent, and everyone who helped us find our new family car was so amazingly helpful, accommodating and flexible. Steve (from Fred Beans Ford, across the street) was happy to share resources with his counterparts at the Chevy dealership to find us exactly the car that we needed, and stayed after hours two nights in a row to put my wife and me into our Cobalt LS. He stayed till almost 9, when his shift ended at 5, just to make sure that we were well taken care of and perfectly satisfied with our new car. Never once did he make us feel as though we were inconveniencing him, and he was happy to take us on any test drive we asked for. Larry, a manager of Fred Beans Chevy, really stepped up and went above and beyond for us to put us in the driver's seat of the car we really wanted. We almost settled for an older model with more mileage, but Larry managed to find us a deal on the one we were admiring more. Alex, the "finance guy" from Fred Beans Chevy, truly works magic. My credit is, admittedly, not that great, but once again, we found him to be working for us, the customers, not the banks, credit companies or dealership. He managed to get our interest rate dropped below what we thought we'd be able to score, and worked hard to find us a fair and affordable financing plan. Everyone we met (whether working directly with, or just chatting while the final details were being put on our contract) was extremely courteous & personable, and not once did we feel pressured into a plan that could've hurt us in the long run. Bottom line -- Fred Beans dealerships worked together to find us the car we wanted - in the price range we were looking for - and I'm looking forward to working with them all again when it's time to buy another. FYI - all the guys seem to have a particular fondness for organic lollipops. I actually was waiting for a factory ordered car from a competing dealership. I received a call from Fred Beans in response to an online inquiry I submitted. I stopped in one Saturday and the reception was great I really felt a good vibe from the whole experience. The week that my car was to arrive, i noticed the influx of Fred Beans Commercials on TV. My car arrived at Anonymous Local Area Dealership, and the nightmare began. Long story short, after a some shady business practices by Anonymous Local Area Dealership, I was at my wits end. The sun shine came through my window and revealed the Business Card of Allen Schwartz (Fred Beans Sales). They were able to get me the exact car I had previously ordered elsewhere. Decent rate, the payment I had in my budget, and all this done within 7 days. Fred Beans really made the difference and they made my car buying experience awesome. P.S. I travel 55 minutes to bring my vehicle back to this dealership even though I could have it worked on locally. They have always been thorough and fair in their pricing. One time when I wasn't completelysatisfied they rectified the situation which is the same thing I try to do in my own business. My daughter in college needed a used car and was interested in a 2010 Honda Civic LX. I searched the internet and found 3 that we wanted to see. Fred beans was my second stop that day and we found that the salesman, Al Schwartz, was friendly and knowledgeable. The car was in very good condition for its age. I noticed a tear in a wiper blade and it was promptly replaced. The price was a little higher than we wanted to pay and we suggested a price that was later accepted by the dealer. But no matter what, we were still going to see the third Civic. Al offered that we could put down a refundable deposit so the car wouldn't be sold while we looked at another dealer. After viewing the last Civic, we decided that for the condition, mileage, value, free oil changes, and state inspections, that Fred Beans offered the best deal. Credit Al Schwartz and sales manager Tim Mears for making this a positive experience in closing a deal.

The service i received here was dispicable! I just bought a car three months ago still under warrantee and now theyre telling me my spark plugs and wiring is old and mushy and 600 dollars to replace!!! After calling multiple times and not receiving a call back i finally talked to a manager and he tells me its not their responsability to change the wires bafore they sold me the car. But you would think if they would need to be replaced in 3 months theyd replace them for me when i bought the car. This is also the second car weve bought in the last 4 months that has never received the registration sticker i paid extra to have sent to me and they refuse to call me back and answer to me for this. NEVER buying a car here again!!!!

We had a fantastic experience with Bruce. He was able to get us a great deal. He was not at all pushy and seemed to genuinely want us to walk out of your dealership with a price we we happy with. We did!

Not only was the sales process friendly and no-pressure, but I sincerely felt that the sales staff was more interested in placing me in the vehicle that I really wanted rather than foisting something close and immediately available for a quick payment. Instead, they advocated waiting until what I had come in looking for was available, and I'm so happy they did. The car is fantastic and I take more joy in driving than ever.

I'm not giving the salesman's name, because it's dealership attitude problem; the salesman was a nice guy, just trying to make a living. Their used car prices were over priced with respect to their competition. They did not want negotiate and wouldn't review pricing data from external trusted sources. I did not feel that they were honest with me as they played games with my trade in value. Overall, the experience wasn't pleasant and they made us wait along time to not even try to negotiate. I don't understand how dealerships can still survive with this type of business strategy. Consumers have a lot of research information available and this dealership tried to ignore that data. I would not recommend this dealership, save yourself the aggravation and don't bother with them.By the way, I bought the same car, color, year, condition, clean car fax with 9k miles less for $3,000 less than their price.

I am writing a final follow up to my last review. I was contacted by the General Manager Mark Donahue. He was genuinely concerned about the issues that I had experienced. He promptly put the right people in touch with me including the parts manager Andrew Miller from their Nissan store. They both stayed on top of the matter to make sure it was entirely taken care of. This was more consistent with my original interaction with their dealership. There will always be potential for problems with any kind of purchase. It is how they are handled that matters. I would not hesitate to do business with them in the future. Thanks again Guys.

I take back my Aug 5th review below. Horrible follow up service. Actually, just plain non-existent service. I purchased a used truck in August 2012. Everything seemed to go well. I even wrote a nice review for them which I never do. They agreed to help me get a few minor parts that it needed when I bought it through their parts dept. Unfortunately, that never happened. Since then the salesman has flat out ignored every voice-mail, email, and a message left with another salesperson for him (so he must still be there). I also ran into another issue with the registration that I asked for help with and got not response. I am shocked at this because it makes no sense so I send one last email to my parts dept contact and CC'd the general manager and the used car manager. NOTHING. No reply at all from anyone. No one can be bothered with this. Never would have expected this. Its now December 20th and the local DMV messenger service just got my registration issue resolved today- it was pretty irritating. That's what prompted this follow up review. I realize everyone is busy but really? What about doing the right thing?

When you're looking for used cars you come across all kinds of "dealers". More often than not I find most of them uncomfortable and questionable at best. On the other hand these guys were professional and respectful from the start. Attitude like this starts at the top and it says a lot. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Nice & easy experience. My wife and I bought a 2012 Chevy Traverse. We had several questions regarding the car, and the knowledgable salesman Andrew Cohen answered them all. I never felt pressured in buying the car, as Andrew really worked with us. He went as far as getting the exact model and specifications we wanted from another dealer. Everyone at Fred Beans was great and welcoming. We went to the dealership 3 straight days with our 1 year old, and all the sales reps, managers, etc. were extremely nice to hear, giving her balloons, popsicles. They even ahd a children's play area. I definitely recommend Fred Beans, and plan on buying my next car from there in a few years.
