I bought my car at Friendly Chevrolet on September 6, 2016. As of today, November 22, 2016, 66 days since the purchase of my vehicle, Friendly has had it 35 days and counting, because as of now it is still in the shop. I've had to come to Friendly on multiple occasion for the same ongoing problems and it has been personally dropped off by me on 4 different occasions. A company that prides itself on concerige plus (free oil changes, multi point inspections and free loaner vehicles) seems to be a fraud. Every time I ask for a vehicle there is some reason of why they don't have one. Service dinged my rear bumper and the only thing I can say about my entire experience is that I got a fair price for the car. I will never recommend Friendly and truly hate that I even purchased a vehicle from a poorly ran business. Once I brought all the problems I had to their attention Alex basically stated there isn't nothing we can do and tried to insinuate that it was my fault and that there wasn't anything they could but that was only after they wanted to run my credit and sell me a car for 20000 dollars more than what I actually paid with a 3500 dollar down payment and stated that my car was less than 20000 dollars. My car is brand new with less than 3000 miles. Are you kidding me? Kind sounds like sexism if you ask me. Luckily I know the difference between an RS and SS. I will never refer anyone to Friendly and all 66 days have been horrible. How can one the largest volume stores not believe in customer service. I just don't understand.

I took my car in for repair they kept for 3 days when I picked up my car there was a big old dent on the trunk and on the top roof. Took back to the dealer and they weren't accommodating at all. The service gentleman Ryan Rogers was a joke he brushed it off to someone else name Ronnie in the service department and he wasn't any help either. This people damaged my car and wanted me to wait 3wks to fixed my car. They want me to wait after they damaged my car. What's more upsetting if I wouldn't have.noticed the damage they would never have said anything. This is so dishonest for such a reputable dealer and bad business. I purchased 2 bran new Tahoe s but at this point I would never recommend to families and friends. It's such a disappointment to be treated as if you're nobody after all I paid $1600 for repairs and this happens.

This place is the worst Chevrolet dealership to take your business to, I think the only reason a lot of people buy is for the Concierge + that they have which includes maintenance till the 100,000 mile on your vehicle... BUT IT'S NOT WORTH IT PEOPLE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! TAKE MY WORD FOR IT ... THEY INCLUDE THE OTHER HAND DON'T KEEP THERE WORD, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING WITH A SIGNATURE IF THEY PROMISE YOU STUFF...AND YOU MADE THE MISTAKE I DID AND BOUGHT FROM THEM

Went to look at a used truck I saw online and was interested in buying it was walking around the lot for about 30 to 45 minutes and nobody approached me to see if I needed help and almost seemed like I was being avoided and every other car I looked at seemed to have some sort of old cups and cans or some sort of trash in it.

I'm very disappointed with Friendly Chevrolet in Dallas, TX. After purchasing a new fully equipped truck it ended up being wrecked while under there care. We had only had the truck for 5 days, since we cannot return it according to friendly we did request for certain parts to be added since now we were purchased a wrecked truck. They had agreed to the request since it was in there possession when wrecked yet they never put the parts requested and now we have yes a repaired truck that was poorly repaired with bad paint job on it. Our truck after purchased was sitting in the dealership for a month because they were supposedly installing the parts which were all lies come to find out. They requested for us to give them good reviews in exchange for the additional parts as well, which was done and sent. we are very upset not only because we did not receive what we requested but now we have a truck that they could not even do a good repair job on the paint job was done horribly not like we purchased it.

Chris Vasquez was my adviser.My rear window wiper blade was messed with. The tech removed it and but it back on wrong. Louis the Service Manager had it fixed . The cover plate is missing and now you can see the bolts. Why did this guy mess with the wiper blade? He knows what he did.

Since Ryan and Louis returned, quality has returned to the Service Advisers Dept. I had stopped going to Friendly over the past year and a half or longer due to problems within the Service Dept....no one would answer the phone or return calls. NO ONE except the operator. Even recently when I called to schedule the extended warranted work (as result of letter received from GM Headquarters), when I stated the prior problems w/Friendly, the Friendly's rep was not actually friendly, even suggested I go elsewhere if I was unhappy., WTH?! I scheduled anyway online, and when I drove up and saw Ryan, I was sooo very happy. So happy to see Ryan re-employed and my service handled like a professional. Finally!

It all began with my car ending up at the dealership for almost a week. I was told that I would get my car back after the weekend (I dropped it off on a Friday). All I wanted done was the oil change along with all the other services provided with the concierge plus. I was told by other people that it should not take that long to do, if that were the case. Dan told me that the reason it took so long was because of the check engine light diagnostics. So I asked my brother, and he told me there was no code shown on the paper I was given. They lied to me. I kept having to call back rather than Dan calling me to update me on my car. I called him on Monday, and he said it would be done by Tuesday Morning. So I called him on Tuesday, and he said it would be done by Wednesday Morning. I left him voice messages and even called a few times before he finally picked up by Wednesday evening saying that my car is finally ready to be picked up. That is ridiculous that it took that long, but he told me it was "simply because of the busy work load" Umm, I had an appointment though? I also asked if it was okay to have my car run through the machine wash and he told me it should be fine. Well, when I picked up my car, I noticed a long scatch near the gas tank. He is not to be trusted.They also didn't have the right code inputed on my customer copy paper. I would have been charged a little over 60 bucks, even though I have concierge plus (perks of buying a new car at that dealership). After I told them I have concierge plus, one of the ladies at the desk said that I still have to pay because I'm only over 5,000 miles. Of course I'm only over 5,000 miles. I just bought my car there!!! They finally double checked and made sure of everything. I guess the dealership may have had a better rating, but I just did not like my service advisor.

For many years I was loyal customer and was very happy with Friendly. About 2 years ago, I needed to replace and engine and mentioned I might be interested in some performance enhancements. I was then introduced to their "performance department" who installed a new corvette engine and supercharger for me. As part of the quote (and this was not cheap) a warranty for 5 years was clearly included. Long story short, the vehicle never ran correctly and spent more time in service than in the shop. Then the engine failed and guess what? the warranty I was sold was apparently not valid as the company "went out of business". Rather than do the right thing and stand by the product and service i paid handsomely for, Friendly is now insisting that I am the one that needs to buy a new engine. I have already had two attorneys review the situation and they are of the opinion that I am in the right and that this is friendly's problem. It's mind boggling that this dealer would rather fight over a engine that costs 6k to replace and alienate a customer who has both spent lots of money on performance enhancements and who also bought a new vehicle from them this past December than step up. By time this is finished, Friendly will most likely spend more in legal fees fighting this than the engine would of cost. Go figure.

I called friendly Chevrolet a few days before my purchase to inquire about the Chevy Trax. The guy I spoke with was friendly and answered all my question. So I made a appt with him to come that Friday. When I made it, he wasn't there, he had a family emergency. He however had left my name and info with his coworker Abraham. This young man Abraham was very nice. He was personable and listened to any thoughts or concerns I had. He made me feel important and respected. After he steered me toward my NEW ride, he went out of his way and drove MY rental back to Enterprise for me. Now that's what I call SUPERIOR service! My experience at Friendly Chevrolet was awe-inspiring. EVERYONE I came in contact with that day, lived up to the name, FRIENDLY. Thank you ALL!!

Dealership said they would fix a dent that was on my NEW Tahoe. We scheduled an appointment, in which THEY cancelled FOUR times. They tried to cancel again by saying they had no loaner cars for us to use (we live over 2 hours away). They finally fixed it and it looks great, I think if we would have had a different sales person our experience would have been better.

I have been a long time customer. The only problem I had on this particular time is I asked the person who helped me to talk to the mechanic about a problem I was having with my vehicle. I don't think he told him or if he did I still had the same problem when I left. But I will take my car back, I know mistakes are going to be made.

Went in with a diagnosis on the code from Onstar. Had the dealership do a diagnostic fee to determine the codes reading. Gathered cost and determined that I could have the car repaired for a cheaper cost elsewhere. My vehicle is 5 years old, extended warranty had expired. Parts not covered in expired warranty anyways. Pleased to have a loaner car during the time my car was in the shop.

I worked with the Service Advisor Nick, which he has been great with following-up and keeping me informed as repairs were made on my vehicle. While the initial issue has been repaired some other issues still need to be resolved, but can't because the issue cannot be duplicated when I bring my vehicle to the service department, which has been very frustrating. Overall Nick has been great as well as the tech Bobby that went on a couple drives with me to see if we could duplicate the issue.

After a couple of weeks my car had been stolen and stripped of all its items, which I had to go through all the insurance and getting the car fixed waiting game, my car started to have engine problems. Dropped my car off to Junior Garcia and he was able to make sure I was taken care of. He hooked me up with a rental car and made sure I had his cell number. Instead of me having to call him to track him down on the status of my car, he updated me daily and told me a reasonable time frame that my car would get fixed. He was able to answer all of my questions and was very friendly/polite is helping me through all this process. I will go to Junior every time for all of my service needs.

And yes the 72 month 0% APR through GM is real and available because we got it. Now for some negative. We arrived at around 10:30 am on a Wednesday. We drove off the lot with a new 2015 Silverado High Country at about 5:00. We said yes to the deal at 12:30 then went to lunch. I asked how long to get the truck cleaned up and everything else to get ready. Someone said 2:30 would be good. We left and ate lunch and were back at 2:30. The truck was ready. The paperwork not so much. I had previously filled out the credit app online a couple of days ahead of time. So finally after an hour and half they called us back to sign the paperwork. 3 1/2 hours is too long to get paperwork ready. I guess if I wouldn't have to have waited so long in between our saying yes to the deal and driving off the lot I would have probably given more Stars. Also would like to think the Sweet girl who helped with the Onstar and electronic stuff and to Brett Morris who made our day there a pleasant experience.

These people will do anything not to fix your car under warranty. The problem with my Malibu was that the rain would fill the trunk storage area. They determined it was from an "unknown accident at the grocery store" while my brand new car had no visible outside dents so I made a $500.00 insurance claim just to get this problem fixed. After the 3rd time with the same problem they determined it wasn't from the "invisible accident" they thought it was in the first place and warranty will cover it. This is ridiculous they made me spend extra money that I didn't expect and didn't have, and on top of that I filled an unnecessary insurance claim.

Great experience! Cost of ownership is very low. In addition to getting a oil change and initial service, the service rep show me two filters that needed to be replaced. They didn't just tell me they needed to be change, they showed them to me. I like that!!!

I went in for a recall on the ignition switch in my 2005 Chevy Cobalt, the staff was very friendly and the service was terrific. It didn't take as long as I thought it would because they were really busy, and I was shocked when I found out that my new keys also worked in my trunk lock because I thought I was going to have two different keys for the ignition and the trunk. Bought a new 2015 Chevy Spark 2LT Labor Day. This is a high-volume dealership I had no experience with. Chevy was offering incentives + 0% financing for up to 60 months (for qualified buyers). I was greeted by a salesman (Jorge) & after a test drive we went into the showroom (chaotic) to negotiate. This went easily as I had done my homework...2 different "sales managers" did the actual negotiations (at different times) while Jorge observed. Trouble began talking "trade in value" for my vehicle. We agreed upon a value but Jorge was called away & returned with another "sales manager" who introduced himself & explained they'd made a "mistake" & the "real" offer was much lower. They said another vehicle was being valued at the same time & they'd crisscrossed the values. Eventually we came to an agreement. We agreed to a value on the Spark, a value on my trade & the financing (they had already checked my credit) including I qualified for 0% financing. Based on those figures, I was asked to sign & initial a hand-written quote indicating I would "purchase that day...that vehicle". I've never been asked to do that at any dealership before and it just felt shady. I sat & waited to be called to the Finance Dept.. The finance guy was professional & polite but clearly his job is to get you to purchase (knowingly or unknowingly?) extra packages such as an extended warranty, "protectant/sealant", door ding/window crack" insurance policies, tire replacement, etc... I screwed up by not checking my finance rate BEFORE I signed the paperwork. I verbally agreed to 0% financing for 60 months. I was told by the salesperson AND the "sales manager" I "qualified" and signed the hand written agreement to it. That evening at home when I sat down and looked everything over I found my finance rate MUCH higher which meant I paid more for the vehicle (than what I agreed to). I remain pissed off about this. I saw no point in going back to the dealer to debate as I'm certain their response would be "you should have looked it over better before you signed.". This one deed ruined any chance of Friendly ever seeing me as a "repeat" customer and we're actually less than a year away from replacing our 2007 Accord. If the finance guy would have said "I know we initially said you qualified, (and explained why) but you don't" I would have accepted that and renegotiated or walked. But, he didn't. Kudos to Marisa in the concierge dept.. She was helpful, patient & professional setting up my Chevy My-Link apps. I could write a book on what happened "after-the sale" but won't...much...The car has been in the shop approximately 25 (primarily waiting on parts) of the 60 days since I purchased it. 4 service visits and counting in less than 2 months. I never got it off the lot the first day. A power steering sensor went out as I was sitting with the concierge going over Chevy My-Link. 26 miles on the odo. A warped door panel has been replaced. A door lock mechanism has been replaced. AC vents replaced. A brand new car. I need to bring it back again for a rattling dash speaker grill but I've had a hit & miss experience with the service department that's left me weary of doing so. A good service advisor but setting up appointments has been a lesson in futility with a lack of follow up on their part (scheduling) or being told they "have no record" of my making an appointment. The on-line service appointment scheduler is useless. You may or may not get a response. Best to call. The service bay is as chaotic if not more as the showroom. I get periodic generic (system generated?) emails from random "sales managers" asking how my experience has been but when I respond with critical detail, I get no response back. Their employees seem preoccupied with "survey" scores. The problem is the surveys relate to the folks I have no issues with! My frustration isn't with the salesperson or service advisor. It's overall customer service, the Finance Dept., Sales Management and Service PROCESS(ES). I have more to say about my overall experience some good, some bad but....I won't. For what happened in the finance dept. alone I cannot recommend this dealership. The "Concierge" Service seems more a way of keeping you coming to this dealership for service past your basic Chevy warranty. I've actually started researching other area Chevy dealerships to take it to for warranty service just so I won't have to deal with the frustrations I've experienced at Friendly. Jorge, Marvin and especially Marisa seem on-the-ball but my overall experience has been disappointing...the finance department's tactics (and I suspect management endorses this behavior) ruined their reputation with me. I saw a banner add on-line from Friendly that says "Because You Deserve Better!". I sure do. We all do.

The sales experience was exactly what you would expect, what everyone expects, when they go into a dealership to buy a car. Lots of back and forth, lots of "how do these numbers look to you" - finally told the salesman -- come back with the numbers we told you were okay, or we go home. So we got what we were looking for eventually.Service experience has been phenomenal -- fantastic people, excellent customer service, ALWAYS do exactly what they say when they say.Finance department is less than responsive. Refinanced my truck and have been trying for more than a week -- 5 voicemails, multiple emails -- to get to speak to someone about reimbursing GAP coverage, but cannot get the common courtesy of a return phone call.

I explained to him upfront what I wanted; made him aware I had already filled out my credit app; advised him to check with finance before I even drove down to the dealership (didn't want to waste anyone's time - especially mine). He did all the leg work informed me I was approved. He asked what color did I want. By the time I got to the dealership Jeffrey had my car waiting (the exact color I wanted). It's hard to image how it could have worked any better or more smoothly. Also, Chevrolet Roadside Assistance came out to give me a jump start so I could take the car to the dealership, and that was free, very quick and totally cool too.

This was by far THE WORST experience I have ever had with a dealership! I purchased a used vehicle on July 2, 2015 and to this day have only driven it for a little over 30 days due to continual mechanical problems. Now, I have been advised that 3 of the 4 tires are bad on the vehicle and that it is "unsafe" to drive. I have been in contact with the owner, Mark Eddins, and the GSM, Steve Fly; however, there has been no resolve. I feel very cheated and extremely disappointed. I do not advise anyone to do business with this dealership.

The sales associate who helped facilitate my transaction, Brent Nickelson, went above and beyond his normal duties to make sure I had the optimal experience with Friendly Chevrolet. I had a flat tire from a screw when I got home the evening of my purchase, presumably from the construction on the new garage at the dealership, and Brent drove across town during rushhour on a Friday to help air up the tire and ensure I made it to a tire shop to get it patched. The service on my 1999 Yukon was excellent. But that is what I have come to expect. Several years ago when the vehicle only had 170,000 +/- miles, Friendly Service was able to identify and repair an intermittent problem that had eluded several previous repair shops. I'm now over 300,000 miles and going strong. I have now worked with several Service Advisors at Friendly, all of them excellent. Chris Vasquez is the most recent and he continues the trend. Eventually, I will trade for a new Suburban, Tahoe or Traverse...and that will be at Friendly. Thanks for the professional care.

I called & spoke with the concierge, Anabelle, on Saturday. She checked with, Marvin, service advisor; for service quote. I came in Monday for the service that I asked about. Another service advisor gave me a quote greater than Marvin did. I asked for Marvin, who confirmed the original quote given to me; so I agreed to the service. Once the service was completed, concierge Francisca attempted to check my service ticket out. However, the incorrect amount was on the ticket. Francisca proceeded to contact the necessary people to correct the error. I was pleased with everybody's effort to make my situation right. Nobody is perfect. Situations are not always perfect. What I appreciate most is that the workers at the dealership made the effort to stand by the word they gave to me. Anabelle, Marvin, & Francisca should be commended for reinforcing the faith that my family has with your dealership. I have been part of Friendly Chevrolet since 2007 and I have never had any problems, it's been awhile since I have gotten either one of my cars serviced there. On this situation my son's car had the battery light coming on and I wasn't sure if it was still under warranty. When I called it was but the problem was they were booked out for a couple of weeks and I only had a couple of days cause my son had to report his 1st time to college in North Carolina. I wasn't sure what I was going to do because I really didn't have money to pay for it out of pocket, we called around and no other Chevrolet had an opening. I called and left a message for the manager Tony and he called me back and I stated to him "I know you don't know and you don't owe me any favors but I am going to ask for a big one" I explained to him my situation and he said I would love to help get your son to college bring the car in and we will look into it. That just took some much of my plate. He had Johnathan help us once we got there, Johnathan was amazing in getting back to us and reporting anything that needed to be done. What I loved about the service is that Tony and Johnathan addressed my son as an adult and commended my son for his accomplishments. Great experience I have ever had from this team..... I noticed friendly Chevrolet dropped the ball on my deal March of 2015, on a 2015 zo6 I ordered in Dec of 2014, I patiently waited for a Vin number for this car for financial purpose never happened called the dealership every two weeks look for my Vin number information, it got so bad my credit union start calling me asking me Mr Davis we need your Vin and a buyer order to get your loan aproved ,with no help out of the dealership friendly Chevrolet, so I got in touch with a retired corvette plant manager Mr cooksey who referred me to the new plant manager Thu email he asked me for my order number he pulled my order he stated to me friendly Chevrolet never push my order threw, I emailed this to my salesman at friendly Chevrolet the next week I got my Vin number, my car was shipped that 3rd week from Kentucky, my outlook of this experience with friendly Chevrolet they didn't think a African American could purchase a $107,520 corvette so they kept putting my order behind, after all that we got in finance I had a cashier check for $98,960 and a $ 10,000 personal check they tried to charge me fees that I wasn't going to pay, so I asked for my check to be returned to me while I was still in the financial office,they refunded those charges back to me, but tried to steal money on my trade, they paid my trade off, but not the price we negotiate it $1,000 short, they stated to me it was in the deal, they couldn't show me where it was in the deal, so they had to refund the money to me, the same day I purchase 2 cars a 2015 ltz impala new, the service department F up my impala rear deck lid by mounting a spoiler incorrect, now they are trying patch it up to get by With their mess up,I contacted GM no help now I'm going to BBB,the deck lid need to be replaced, the dealership owners smart mouth assistance stated to that wasn't going to happen, so basically they are telling me I gotta live with it, never again will I do business with this dealership again, you spend a $150 000 and they treat you like xxxx, please people beware of this dealership, they will stick a knife in your back and turn it hard, the owner don't have the nuts to call and make things right, the people that are running his business are stupid, rude and short with customers and don't give a dam customers, if you buy from this dealership dot ur eyes and cross ur T's they will screw you if you blink.

I have to admit, for a while there I was really concerned about the loss of Louis Labarbara. I have been a customer of Friendly for over 25 years, dating back to Inwood & Lemmon. The previous three or four times I have been there for service had been nothing less than a nightmare. But this most recent time things seems to have gotten back on track. The repair was its usual efficient, fair and yes... friendly. I am most proud however, to see that Friendly has promoted a young lady named Natalie Ortiz to a better position. Natalie was always sharp and friendly at the service desk. To see her walk by looking all professional really gave me a good feel for Friendly. She carried herself with pride and it made me feel like Friendly also deserved respect. I believe that promoting hard work from within develops the company and looks to the future. Good job!

It began with an online search where I was pleased to see an online credit application, which I thought would help get the transaction initiated. It was a late evening search, but early the next day I was contacted by a rep from the dealership, again, I was pleased. However, after the initial contact, the rep had not gotten back to me regarding our conversation after many hours. I was concerned, so I called him back, and he answered oddly, no "Friendly" greeting as if he was caught off guard. He requested additional information, which I provided, and then again, no return phone call (no confimation of receipt of my info). I was determined to get some feedback, so I went to the dealership (I thought that by that time the rep would be off for the day, and I could get someone more attentive.) I was immediately greeted, and I explained my situation (applied online, had spoken with a rep who had not been very responsive). It was reported to me that the previous salesman would still be assisting me. I thought that sucked, but fortunately I became a (in your face) priority at that point. I liked that I was able to go upstairs (away from the hustle/bustle on the showroom floor), sit at the salesman's desk which was located next to the sales manager (no salesman disappearing act to go see the decision maker), and the deal was made. I was ecstatic about the purchase. I had visited two other dealerships previously that could not get me financed without a co-signer because of my poor credit rating and upside-down trade circumstance. FRIENDLY MADE IT HAPPEN, and I plan to be a returning customer for my next vehicle purchase. Thank you Friendly Chevrolet!!!

Do not take your vehicle to get serviced here. The manager is so rude and will talk down to you until you walk out of that place. I had to take my car back 2 times before everything was actually fixed. When all said and done. I spent 400 more than I was quoted on my repair. If you have been in business for 50 years, you should be able to get a quote within 100 bucks estimated of what the final price is. Also, they will make you wait forever and not give a crap. STAY AWAY!!!

I completed an online application and received and immediate response. The sales guy was very nice and friendly and told me what I needed and when I could come in. I got in and the saleman was still very helpful and courteous. I got to the finance guy and he was friendly as well. All paperwork done and then I find out my spare key is missing and there is no spare tire in the trunk. The sales guy tells me that the car I got did not come with a spare and that the spare key is lost and another has to be made. He told me that I would be contacted by the service department but I am not one to procrastinate so I got proactive and contacted the service department myself. At this point no one seems to know what I am talking about and this is where I get unhappy. It is like the sales team tries to stay on top of everything but the service team is not as eager.All in all the experience was ok. I am sure it could have been much worse but I purchased the vehicle on 6/26/15 and on 7/06/15 I still have yet to get that spare key issue resolved. Go figure.

Once I walked in service dept all reps turn there heads the other way. I did not get a greet or a smile from any of them. After a couple of minutes standing in front of reps one finally talked to me but had a bad attitude. Not sure how Friendly's Sales Reps are but having that bad experience with Service Dept makes me feel very uncomfortable going back to Friendly for any kind of service.

The transmission on my vehicle went caput after the coverage period. I had work done on it earlier on. Chevrolet went ahead and covered a full replacement rather than just repairing it again. This was a great cost savings for me. I was thrilled they honored their warranty service as well as provided an all new transmission. They also offered a loaner car in the interim. Their loaners cars are first class and the type of vehicle you want to be seen driving. No lemons with Friendly Chevrolet!!!

Well I brought my 2013 Chevy Spark in for service only and I reported to Robert. I noticed that you all kept my car a little longer than I felt was necessary but I wasn't bothered because you all already go above and beyond with your loaner program. You save us, your customer hundreds of dollars by offering this program so we don't have to rent vehicles while ours are being serviced. Long story short, when I picked up my car, I cried. Robert and your great staff in the service department and body shop basically presented me with a second chance at leaving your lot with a brand new car. Not only did your friendly staff fix the issue with my air, they did FREE body work and removed all my dents and dings, cleaned my car inside and out and gave me a set of floor mats. My car looked like she was brand new off the showroom floor again. And I truly thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for this blessing! I am a returning customer and I will forever be a Chevy girl!

I had a wonderful sales consultant Jimmie Crenshaw. He took the time to find me what I really wanted and made sure I was happy.What I liked about him that he listen to the customers and he do his best to get them what their asking for and if he cant do it he takes the extra step to make sure some one can help. I really like the way the customer service was ran this time and how fast everything took place. Buying a car is like a 2 to 4 day process sometimes and with this purchase it was 2 days. Great customer service Friendly Cheverolete and keep up the good work. The finance department was fast and ready for me when I came to pick up my vehicle. Great job!

I was on a cross country road trip in my Corvette (from California). I was passing through Dallas when I needed my oil changed. I called and they politely told me they could take me and it would take about an hour. I came right over and they did take me immediately. My car was done within the hour and to my surprise, they even washed and vacuumed my car. I was back on the road in an hour. The facility was very clean and the employees were very polite and helpful. I was impressed by the multiple waiting areas in this dealership. You could have a meal in one area (there is a full kitchen), you can watch TV in another area, you can connect online and work remotely in another area or you could just sit quietly and catch up on some reading in yet another area. When my vehicle was ready, they did not call my name on the intercom as I would have suspected, a young lady found me and completed my transaction where I was sitting. I am still uncertain how she knew who I was from all the other folks there but I was very impressed. I wish they (Friendly Chevrolet) were located in my town Glendora, California. In fact, I wish other dealers were more like this, it would make servicing a car so much easier. I plan to visit this dealer every time I roll through Dallas!!!

Even though i was prepared 110% the sales man Joey and his management staff, and financial staff were able to help me get a even better deal than what I expected. They made purchasing my vehicle so easy and fast. I spent only 1.5 hours at the dealership test driving and choosing the vehicle. Purchased 2014 Chevy SS. I had been looking for this specific car for awhile, had found one but was not the right color. Jarvis Lacy stayed in touch with me and informed me when they had taken the exact car I wanted and it was the color I wanted as well. He was great to work with, everyone at Friendly Chevrolet was just that ... FRIENDLY! The vehicle was in need of cleaning and still needed to go through certification which happened faster than I expected but was surprised when I went back to pick it up. Oh, they put me in a loaner car in between completing the paperwork and delivery, which was wonderful! So upon delivery, I sat with their Concierge who reviewed features of the car, made sure I knew how to use everything, and informed me that if I ever had a question about how to use something or needed help they would always be there for me. This has not only been a great experience but the best car purchase transaction I've experienced. This was the 1st time I booked service over the Internet; it worked perfectly. The time I selected turned out to be a very busy time at the Dealership, which also had some parking lot repairs underway. Nevertheless, I was greeted very promptly, and the service was completed as quickly as usual. I am very satisfied with the service set-up. OnStar sends me -- and the Dealer -- an email that it is time for service. I contact the Dealer to schedule the service; in this case, the Dealership also simultaneously contacted me to see if I wanted to schedule service. Makes scheduling very easy and eliminates a lot of opportunities for delay. I had asked that my personal settings with regard to seat position, etc., not be changed -- as I am mobility-impaired and it takes me awhile to get everything properly adjusted -- and my request was honored. Everything was good, and I am a happy customer.

The day of our purchase, we visited another dealership prior to coming to Friendly Chevrolet. We had spent 3 hours, and weren't feeling valued at that dealership. We decided that we prefer not buy a vehicle from them, so we made the decision to leave. It was early evening, about 4:30 pm, and decided to take a look at Friendly Chevrolet. Our salesman, Daniel, helped find a vehicle that fit us. Every step of the process was easy, and the dealership is great. It is a very clean dealership, and attention to detail is phenomenol. A few days ago I wrote an unfavorable review of my recent car repair experience with Friendly Chevrolet. I had a side mirror repaired and the end result was less than desired. Within five minutes of posting that review I received a call from Rich, the head of service for Friendly. Within 24 hours I had a loaner car (a brand new beautiful Suburban) delivered to my home and 36 hours after that my car was returned to me repaired properly (washed and vacuumed). They won me over! Great service at Friendly Chevy---Otavio (Elmo) Taleno very helpful and attentive---I was not feeling well the day I was there to make a Corvette trade and he helped me get thru the day with as little discomfort as possible and get me on the road home, which by the way is 2.5 hr drive. I just want management to know that your Collision Center Advisor Jorge Medrano is #1 in my book. First of all, he coordinated a tow to the shop and forwarded me a loaner vehicle for 1 week before liability was accepted. This was awesome because I was in a stressful situation, but he made everything seamless for me. Then he did a great job conveying, to the opposing insurance company, my vehicle's damages and safety concerns. Usually when repairs are done, junk parts or inferior like kind and quality LKQ parts are used that don't fit right. He made sure only GM parts touched my Camaro. It's also nice to know that every panel that was damaged was just replaced and not puttied up. Very little body filler was used in the $9,300.00 job. I bet only a couple of table spoons of body filler was used.He continually kept me updated, and explained how his staff would install each part. I'm the kind of guy who loves to know the nitty gritty down to the finest detail. I was very impressed with the final product. It nice to know he believes in fighting for his customer in getting proper work done.I purchased my car at Friendly last year, and I will be loyal to them. Great service with care is priceless. By the way, Jorge is good old fashioned likable. Also, thank you to all the bodywork men that made Jorge look great.

the service was excellent, but when i bought the car i was promised a free loaner car would be available when necessary. i scheduled my service appointment in advance, but when i dropped the car off they said no loaners were available due to some gm fleet deal. that's not my problem, i was promised something that was not delivered upon, even though i scheduled in advance. do you really think i'll recommend your dealership to others or even consider this dealership for future purchases.

I took my car in for an oil change and because 2 of the door locks didn't work properly. When I dropped it off the guy tested the locks and noticed they didn't work, but when I picked it up they had only serviced one and not both?! They told me that they had not seen any malfunction on the lock...I come home and nope, is still not working. Customer service from Denise was super though. Better experience than previous one. Thank you Friendly Chevy!

Our first service rep wasn't a Corvette guy and it showed when he locked the keys in the car. The second guy was great and took care of of our every need. Repairs were done when promised. Only improvement I would suggest is returning the car with the seat back to its original position. Mine was so far forward I couldn't get in the car until I adjusted the seat. Also almost every setting was changed, but that could be because of what was repaired (we'll see if it happens next time...).

Everything seemed great at the time, but when I got my car back, the seat adjustment and display had all been altered, and it took me awhile -- and the owner's manual -- to get everything back the way I wanted it. Also, when I got home, my son saw me drive up and pointed out a small piece of what I think is rubber hanging down on one side of the bumper. It must have somehow gotten torn loose during either the oil change or the tire rotation. Nevertheless, everyone was very nice, the work was done quickly, and the car was very clean when returned.

My mom is a bit picky and old fashioned. None of us enjoy being hassled and harassed into buying something we're not comfortable with. Once we met Daniel Ramirez we knew that he was our car salesman! He is kind and personable and doesn't pressure you into a purchase. The dealership is also really well staffed and managed. I know it's corny, but they are actually a friendly dealership. We've bought 2 vehicles from Daniel, and will be purchasing another this fall.

From the time that I walked into the showroom until I left, the entire staff was always smiling. I was greeted by Jarvis with a hand shake and a how can I help you. We had previously talked on the phone and he already knew what I was looking for.He found the truck that him and I had talked about. I took it for a test drive and was very pleased with the way it handled. After returning from the drive I informed Jarvis that another dealership was offering ten thousand dollars off the sticker price. He went inside and informed a manager what was taking place. The manager came outside and told me that he would do everything he could, to get me in the truck. I purchased a vehicle from Oscar Miramontes with Friendly Chevrolet and I have to say I'm not impressed. He was friendly, I will give him that. The purchasing experience is much greater than friendliness and that is where the dealership fell short. The car I purchased had cosmetic flaws in the exterior and interior, including ripped stitching on two seats, a loosely hanging front fascia/lip due to the 3M adhesive wearing out, wind noise and water entry from the sunroof and a broken clip for the front bumper fitment. Not only would they not put any of these items on a We Owe, they wouldn't help when less than forty-eight hours later, I called about the manual transmission locking up from a worn Master Cylinder AND the transmission is slipping. Oscar said he'd see what he can do and here we are, a month after that promise, not a single call. My plates came in, Oscar said he'd follow up and let me know when they're in. He didn't. I got a call from a Pre-Owned Manager I hadn't dealt with, David, who asked if I wanted them shipped, or if I'd prefer to pick them up. Living an hour away, I chose the former. A week and a half later with no plates, I call back and the plates were never shipped. Friendly Chevrolet will help you choose the car you want, but good luck getting any - ANY help after the sale. You will be promptly ignored.

Called service department 11/7/14 to set an appointment to work on some minor issues under warranty, plus do my alignment and oil change. We set the appt for 11/17 as this was the first day available they could give me a loaner. I show up on 11/17 and there are no records of me AT ALL. I was told to ask for Drew so i talk to him and all he can say is sorry, you can bring it back in tomorrow. No discounts, no nothing. I bought my car here too. This isnt a short drive for me either. Had to miss some work as well. The front office girls are very unorganized, unproffesional, and just frankly dumb. you get what you pay for friendly chevrolet.

WORST EXPERIENCE. NEVER GOING BACK.After going to Friendly many times for various services and maintenance, I decided to go back. I had Friendly replace a part in my car and then the problem came back within a week! When I took my car back in to Friendly, they claimed that this was a completely different problem and that I needed another part replaced for ANOTHER $500. After arguing with the service advisor for a good 30 minutes, I decided to pick up my car, declining Friendly's service. The advisor tried to tell me that because this was a new problem, I would normally have to pay the $160 fee for the diagnostic test that had been done, but that they would do it free of charge. Don't act like you're doing me any favors dude because, no matter how many different ways you try to explain it, it was the exact same problem!! After much more arguing, the service advisor said that my car had *magically* reset itself and the problem no longer persisted, but he still recommended that I pay the $500 to fix the unbroken part for good measure...YEAH RIGHT. All in all, it is clear that Friendly's employees are more concerned about making a commission than helping their customers. And Friendly is most definitely the wrong name for this company--the service advisors as well as the girls at the concierge desk are far from friendly. And just to add fuel to the fire, you would think that after working with the same service advisor for over two weeks on the exact same issue, that he would be able to remember your name or at the very least, look up your car history to familiarize himself with the problem, but no. Frank (service advisor) had no idea who I was and did not remember what the problem was with my car--he finally looked up my car history a good 10 minutes into our phone conversation and goes, "Oh! I remember who you are now!"...Really? I know you work with a lot of customers, but it had been less than a week and I had left him numerous voicemails (none of which he responded to) explaining my situation. And the icing on the cake, Frank kept calling me by the wrong name even after being corrected AND having my file in front of him! You really know how to make the customer feel appreciated, Frank. Needless to say, I will never go back to this dealership. They totally ripped me off--I didn't even need the first part replaced in the first place and then my car just reset itself and everything was fine? What a joke. There's $500 that I'll never get back.

Sales personel do an outstanding job in accomodating its customers during and beyond the sale.Service department leaves a lot to be desired. The intention of good service is good, but delivery and followthru is lacking. Basically, once the repai is done, they dont care what happens. No updates on the repair, I had to call every day to followup, and the car sat in the garage for a week before a simple fix was performed in a few hrs.Very disappointing experience with SERVICE DEPARTMENT

Pretty frustrating when you go through all the details, setup an appointment and then the salesperson is not available. Next, when you do deal with a salesperson, you are sitting in the middle of the sales room as if you are in detention. The new salesperson was not given all the prior information so a bunch of time was wasted going through all the details again and options on my trade in(which he still neglected when generating a proper trade in value). Towards the end, the salesperson seemed to lose interest and it showed. He seemed distracted and completely disappeared during the paperwork process. I never saw him after we agreed on price which to me is unprofessional. I should have walked away because I was not satisfied in the end.

Purchased my 2014 Siverado High Country from this dealer with mixed feelings initially. It is not easy for me to get to from my home. However, it was a great decision and the inconvenience of location has been more than offset by the experience and customer service. My sales associate (Josh Gary) was great, no pressure and accommodated every request. The buying process was straightforward and even the dreaded trip to the finance manager was actually enjoyable and low pressure. They did what they said they would in a timely, efficient and straightforward manner and I was treated fairly. Since purchasing, I have had my truck serviced twice and both times has been perfect. Great communication, process easy and my service advisor is AWESOME!(Drew Rampy) . The concierge service is very convenient and the loaner vehicles are great! Sales man was a nice and professional young man, however, when it got away from him, to the managers hands and financing, the whole deal fell apart. The old thinking of dealerships doing the "ol switch-eroo" at the very last minute, is alive and well.I probably would've purchased the car IF they would've told me upfront the conditions and payment. Since they tried to do something shady, they ended up keeping that "brand new, 2 yr old camaro".A reminder that dealerships will say anything to get you into the car, you like it, then convince you to do something else. In my case, I was firm and did not move $1 off the original deal. I didn't need to BUY a car, but they sure needed to SELL a car. If they like cars sitting in their lot, not willing to be flexible...they can keep it. Plenty of other Chevy dealerships I can get a car like that from...AND cheaper.Thanks Friendly Chevrolet...for waisting my time.

I purchased a brand new car in February of 2014. On April 10th during routine maintenance I discovered it was involved in a recall and was originally told it would be fixed in 3-4 days. As it turns out the part was on national back order and they increased the timeframe to 1-2 months. After the third month of not hearing anything from them and repeatedly making calls for updates I was told they ordered the wrong part for my car and they didn't have an ETA for the new part to come in. Fast forward another two weeks, I went to the dealership and asked to speak with their sales manager to address my issues with the way they handled the issue. Ordering a wrong part that ultimately delayed the car by 2 months was unacceptable and I asked that they allow me to trade the car in and purchase one off the lot. I was tired of paying for a car I couldn't even drive. They agreed that's what needed to be done and set me up with a salesman. From there we went and picked out a car, test drove it, and settled back into their lobby. After being there for 3 hours the sales manager came back and said that they were not able to help me with the car and that they'd reach out to GM to see what my options were. A week later after not hearing anything once again I was told to start the process of seeing if the car would qualify for the Texas Lemon Law. A quick Google search proves that recalls do not qualify. Im not sure why a car dealership would recommend that option. Basically I need to contact a lawyer about a law that wouldn't help in my situation at all. However, the message now seems very clear. They have no desire to help at all and wanted to buy time so they could fix the issue that should of been fixed ages ago. So a few days short of FOUR months, I received my car on 8/6. The car was incredibly dirty inside and out. Somehow pollen and dirt had actually gotten on the inside of the car. It was obvious it had been sitting outside most, if not all, of the time it was there. They made absolutely no offers to accommodate for the way they handled the mistake and I think they probably handled it pretty well which is the sad part. But when a company is saving money, why not?

Bought a car from here on 6/7/14. I've had it for litterally 2 weeks and they had it in the service department for 4 days of that! The car was priced less online then what they sold it to me for. But I needed a car so I agreed. Well a week after getting it the check engine light comes on... Really I've only had it a week and the light comes on? Okay so I take it in to be checked and fixed. That was on a Monday. It took them till Thursday to look at it and fix it. They tell me it was a battery cable that was misaligned and that it was good to go. I take off work to go pick it up and everything is fine. Well I get to the highway afterwork (probably drove it 10 miles since picking it up from the dealership) and the light comes back on. At this point I've had the car in my possession a total of 10 days and its in the shop TWICE for a check engine light. Not to mention the car had an ACTIVE RECALL on it when they let me drive off in it! I told them I wanted them to put me in a different car and they told me there was nothing they could do about it. Its between me and the bank now! I'm supposed to take this car on a 2000 mile road trip next week and I'm scared to take it! I'm paying 6 years on a vehicle that already has problems within the first fourteen days of me having it! I'm stuck with a faulty car and they wont put me in something else. I buy a new, car the least of my worries should be it functioning properly! They do not stand behind their cars and will leave you in a vehicle you don't feel safe in, sell you a car with an active recall on it and there's nothing you can do about it. If you buy a car from them you better hope and pray you get a good one cause if you don't your out of luck and stuck with it!

I went to the dealership on Saturday around 6pm ended up finding a very good deal on my Camaro. I decided to buy a manual because the vehicle was cheaper. I figured it would be easy to learn how to drive. Having never driven a manual vehicle I tried to learn in a day and became very frustrated and realized I would not ever learn how to drive the vehicle. I called the dealership first thing Monday morning because I read that there is a 3 day window where a vehicle can be returned to the dealer, but it was at the dealers discretion if they would take the vehicle back. I was very worried that they would in deed say No to me returning the vehicle. which means I would have been stuck with a brand new vehicle that I could not drive. To my surprise they did in deed let me return the vehicle and I ended up getting a 2014 Camaro automatic with everything that I wanted to start with plus an AMAZING PRICE. Their personnel were all very friendly , courteous and very Helpful. The Atmosphere at the dealership was warm and welcoming. When I first stepped on the lot to look at vehicles, I did not have to wait long for a salesman to come out to assist me and that was the Best first impression of the dealership for me. I had been working with Derian for about a week and a half before making the 5 1/2 hour trip to Dallas to make the purchase. Derian made the drive well worth it! We had a run in with the service department who was horrible (on this occasion) they took 2 1/2 hours to make a spare key. The guy who started it left for lunch and no one was taking over. Derian made sure things were taken care of, even got his manager involved because he could tell our frustration! He went above and beyond to answer any question or address any concerns. He sat with us during the process. He didn't treat us like just "another sale". As we waited he offered to pick up lunch for us and just was so attentive, it was great!! We're sad to hear that Derian no longer works for Friendly but our next purchase will be wherever he ends up!Friendly Chevy was a great experience. They are ....FRIENDLY! everyone we came across was very nice!Def would recommend this dealership, but also would recommend looking for Derian!!! :) and Jimmy (Finance Manager) was awesome as well!!! Couldn't leave him out, he was great!

I went up to the dealership the next day, and the car that I wanted was there, in exactly the same condition that I had seen online, along with the same price. While I waited, I was given a coupon to buy a meal at the onsite cafeteria, and I was not forced to do anything that I did not want to. I had been searching the DFW area Chevy dealers for a very specific model car. When I found what I was looking for at Friendly Chevrolet, I called and spoke with Joey. Joey confirmed they had the vehicle available I saw online, and I scheduled an appointment for a test drive later that evening.When I arrived that evening, my wife and I met with Breck Lowe. Breck had the car already pulled up front and ready for us to check it out. After taking a quick photocopy of my license, Breck handed us the keys and told us to take it out for a drive. Needless to say, we were thrilled with the vehicle, and went back to talking with Breck about details.Honestly, at that specific time we weren't ready to make a purchase decision. I still had three months left on my lease vehicle and we didn't anticipate making a purchase that night. In our discussions with Breck, we talked about our timing and our need to turn in our lease vehicle. Breck and his sales manager made us an offer, but at the time we were still unsure. Once we made it clear we weren't completely comfortable with moving forward they didn't pressure us at all.As it turned out, we thought about it for a few days and came back to talk specifics about a deal the next week. This time both Joey and Breck were available and we got everything on the table. Breck and Joey went out of their way to make this the most painless and easy car purchase transaction I've ever been through. Their zero pressure sales technique was incredibly refreshing - especially in this recent economy. I took my car into Friendly for some service work and my experience was wonderful! My service advisor Mike Deegear was pleasant and very professional. I got a loaner car which was a nice surprise, since most dealers only offer a courtesy van ride and that's only when you drop your car off. Everyone that I came into contact with at Friendly was pleasant and had a smile on their faces and was eager to help. I will definitely use Friendly again for service and when I am ready for a new car. I will and have told family, friends, and co workers to go to Friendly. It didn't even really feel like I was at a car dealer!

We just purchased our 3rd vehicle from Friendly Chevrolet. Everyone there is always so helpful and kind to us. Our sale person, David Mata, was the best salesperson you could ask for. He asked us what we were looking for and what exactly we wanted the vehicle to have. He also asked what would be a deal breaker so he wouldn't be wasting our time on vehicles we wouldn't even be interested in. What a great question for him to ask and very considerate of our time. Damian Alvarez was a pleasure as well to work with. He made the finance portion of the process easy and very simple. He worked very hard to get us the interest rate we needed. Both David Mata and Damian Alvarez were awesome to work with!!! Damian even stayed past his time just to get us squared away. Oh, did I mentioned he was getting married the next day and he was late to his rehearsal dinner for us!!! He kept telling us it was okay and not to worry. Have brought in my vehicle 3diff occasions and they have not been able to completely satisfy me with repairs.... To the point where I was offered "double-sided tape to help fix one of my concerns was just unbelievable..... My insurance paid about 28,000 worth in damages to Friendly Chevrolet the least you think they would do was make sure I was completely satisfied. "Free loaners"?? I am currently without a vehicle since yesterday because I was told they were out and my car "should" be ready sometime in the afternoon today, never heard back from anyone...... Will not be bringing in any of my vehicles here ever again!

I have previously used Friendly to have my vehicles serviced and repaired at the body shop and have always had a great experience until my last visit. I took my new 2013 Traverse to get repaired at the body shop due to a car accident. I guess I should have known from the beginning it would be a bad experience. When I went to sign the consent for repairs my advisor was not available anymore and he had just scheduled me to come in to see him. Once repairs were "done" and I picked up my vehicle, my advisor was not available again. I called my advisor about issues I was having with my vehicle, he said for me to bring it back in but that if my insurance called me not to tell them I had to take it back in. I have no idea why he asked me to do that, but my insurance never called me. I brought it back in 3/20/14 and the next day when I picked it up was told everything was taken care of and that there was a part on order and he would call me Monday to bring my truck back in to get it installed. I never received that call. I took my vehicle back on 4/23/14 because the previous issues were not fixed and I was told they would not be fixed because those issues were not part of the accident and were never worked on by the body shop. I asked to speak to someone else and you could tell he had no idea what was going on and was basically repeating word for word the same thing as the previous person and apologized because my previous advisor was no longer employed there and that he made promises about repairing something that was "not approved". My vehicle had over $17,000 in repairs so how can they tell me that the doors "vibrating" have nothing to do with the car accident? They even "offered" to put double-sided tape on a part so that it wouldn't vibrate anymore...really? double sided tape?!... I also asked for a loaner car while they fixed the other issues and they said they were out of loaners but that my vehicle would be ready the following afternoon (4/24/14)...they never called me and I didn't even get an update on my vehicle.

I bought a 2011 Camaro and a 2013 Silverado at Friendly brand new. The buying experience was good. I had a spray in bedliner installed in the truck. It faded after about one month. I left numerous messages at the concierge desk and a phone call was never returned. When I went in person to inquire about a warranty in the bedliner I was told it eventually fades. Mine faded and lost all the sheen after one month. If I had known this I would've bought a plastic liner for much cheaper than the amount I paid for a spray in liner that would fade and lose it's sheen. Oh yea the lady at the desk called their after market installer and they told me I could by something online to restore the luster. If you selling a product through a vendor you should make certain they stand behind their product!

Just bought a 2014 Silverado and I can't imagine a better car-buying experience.I didn't have to shop around because I came in knowing what I wanted. My car salesman Jim Crenshaw was a sweet older man who took the time to explain every feature and detail about the truck to me. He took the time to make sure that this Silverado was what I wanted, and never made me feel pressured. He never made me feel dumb about asking questions and even tried to learn a little more about me, making the purchase feel much more personal. Jimmy Scales, the financial consultant, was so cool and explained every document thoroughly before asking me to sign them. He never guilted me or harped on me to buy the extra packages offered for the truck, and I appreciated that. I left with my truck fully washed, detailed, cleaned, and filled up in under 2.5 hours. I definitely recommend this dealership to anyone. Did I mention that the dealership will give me free oil changes, car washes and tire rotations for the next five years?

I brought my Camaro in for some engine trouble, which turned out to be a relatively easy fix. Normally when you take your vehicle to a mechanic, this is the routine I expect: 1. They tell you how long it will be before they can diagnose the issue 2. Once they've diagnosed the issue, you receive a phone call to let you know the cost and timeline for repair 3. If any delays happen during the repair, the mechanic will call and update the status with a new timeline for completion of service 4. When the repair is complete, the mechanic will call for you to come pick up the vehicle 5. The vehicle will be ready for you to claim when you get to the shop This did NOT happen with Friendly Chevrolet. I hate to write things like this, because I had such a good buying experience at this dealership, however, their service department seems to not know the basic steps listed above. 1. I received no timeline on diagnosing the issue 2. I had to call in multiple times over a week, being placed on hold and redirected to voicemail, only to get a generic "we're working on it" answer 3. When picking up the vehicle, the service department had apparently lost the key and needed to rekey the vehicle, resulting in over an hour of waiting in the service area to retrieve my car 4. My car was FILTHY - it had clearly been left out in the rain and was not washed before returning it to me (which is a staple of typical friendly chevrolet service) TO BE FAIR, The service rep offered me a full detailing and hand wash at my convenience. Also, the work done to repair the vehicle was done properly, no issues there. The next time I need work done to my vehicle, I'll be going to Van Chevrolet because it's closer to my work / home, and I am tired of dealing with the subpar service at Friendly Chevrolet. It is a shame, because in my opinion, the buying experience at Friendly Chevrolet was much nicer and less stressful than that at Van Chevrolet.

Do not, under any circumstance, bring your vehicle to Friendly Chevrolet for maintenance or service. I cannot speak for the sales department. I have had my vehicle serviced here three times, and each time I left feeling like I had been completely scammed. If you must bring you vehicle to Friendly Chevrolet, at least call around and get a second opinion on both parts and labor. Even Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine is more honest. Here are few examples: For my most recent repair, Friendly Chevrolet wanted to charge me $850 to replace a fuel composition sensor, stating that the part is over $600 new. I found the part new online for $350, and found a replicator sensor that works just fine for $150. The sensor took me literally 15 minutes to replace. I asked the service rep if the was something I could do myself and he said "Not likely". For another example, my electric heated side view mirror was stolen from my vehicle. The thief only managed to remove the glass, but left the motor and casing. Friendly Chevrolet wanted to replace the entire assembly for over $600. I mentioned I just needed the glass, and they said they could get me that part for $380. I bought the same part from Classic Chevy for $180 and snapped it on in 5 minutes. These are just two examples of many I have. I know it is isn't easy to trust people on the internet, but I can assure you that this is one of the most dishonest places you can take your vehicle.

I spoke to the internet sales person on several occasions via e-mail and phone. I had found a vehicle that I was interested in on CARS.com. When I inquired about it, I found out that it had no 3rd row seat and the interior was bare-bones (No Options) and not what was shown and listed on CARS.com. To the salespersons credit, and after some questions, he did tell me that the vehicle was like a base/fleet type vehicle without most of the expected amenities. At least I didn't travel 3 hours to get there before finding out the facts. Always ask questions first. As the title suggests not bad but not great either.

My experience with Friendly Chevrolet was decent. They did not play all the games that most dealership play. I told them what I wanted and they found me that car. They did not try to get me into something that I didn't want. But one problem after buying the car the windshield wiper fluid was empty. That really made me upset because I was told they did a complete check of the vehicle. That makes me question is there anything else I should be worried about.

I took my car in while it was still under warranty because the RPM's were jumping when the air was on. I was told it was the transmission, a/c sensor, and radiator. My warranty only covered the transmission so they fixed that. I was still having the problem even after they fixed it, but since they said it was the A/C sensor I couldn't afford to get that fixed. My car broke down the other day, and another Chevy dealer fixed it (now that it is not under warranty its out of my own pocket), and they said it was the throttle body that was making the RPM's jump the whole time. They put it on the computer and NONE of my sensors are out. If they service team at Friendly would have taken the time to listen to what I was telling them and fix it right it would have been fixed under the warranty and done correctly the first time. Horrible and very displeased with this place.

I wrote the review on 12/05 and wanted to respond to the GM. His response is a direct lie. We were told we could not take the vehicle to our mechanic because there were other buyers interested that were coming to look that evening and therefore the vehicle couldn't leave the dealership. Which is understandable except for they knew we were coming to look at it and were taking the afternoon off work and driving an hour. The fact that the GM is now lying about the situation should tell you something about them. Steer clear! At no time did they ask us for information or ask us to sign anything. The conversation never made it that far. And you will notice the GM failed to address the issue with phone calls and emails going unreturned. If I ran a business such a thing would concern me and I would make sure it was addressed.

I submitted a question online about one of their vehicles and nobody ever responded. I called the next day and was told by the lady that answered the phone that nobody was available and she would have someone call me back. Two hours later I still hadn't received a phone call so I called back again. That time she handed me over to someone to be helped - I believe he said his name was Marty. He apologized that nobody had been taking care of us and promised to make things right. He went off to find the answer to my question but in the early afternoon he called back to tell me he couldn't actually locate the vehicle we were interested in and he was still looking for it. I never heard back from him. The next day I received an email from a different guy - Jarvis - who asked if I had ever gotten answers to my questions. I called Marty back and he said Alessandro was supposed to call me back the previous day and let me know they no longer had the vehicle and it had been sent to be wholesaled. This was a vehicle that had been at their dealership for less than a week. Ok fine...I emailed Jarvis back to let him know the vehicle had been sent to be wholesaled so I didn't need my question answered. Well at that point Jarvis emailed back and apologized for the confusion and said he had information on the vehicle and to please call him. I called him and he was initially great and answered all of my questions. He said the vehicle had been sent over to be wholesaled but if we were interested he could pull it back over for us to take a look at - it wasn't gone yet. I told him we were definitely interested and wanted to take a look at it. The next day the vehicle was brought back and after we talked to him at length about the vehicle my husband drove an hour to go take a look at it. My husband liked what he saw and asked if he could take it to his mechanic to look it over before purchasing. He was told that would probably be fine but Jarvis went to make sure. Jarvis returned to say we couldn't take the vehicle because there were other people interested who wanted to look at it. Right. The same vehicle that nobody could even locate all day on Monday and that was sent over to be wholesaled. And then Jarvis tried to tell us there had been a misunderstanding and the vehicle hadn't been sent over to be wholesaled. So the vehicle that had sat at a prior dealership for 3 months and had spent 1 week at Friendly before being sent to be wholesaled all of the sudden had enough interested buyers that we weren't even allowed to fully check it out before buying it. They wanted us to sign the papers without getting it checked out first. Thank you but no. The entire experience was awful and we will not be giving Friendly Chevrolet our business. Complete waste of our time. Incompetent staff who can't be bothered to return emails, return phone calls, locate vehicles and answer simple questions. We felt like we were being lied to about the entire situation with regards to the vehicle we wanted to purchase.

For a company whose name is FRIENDLY, they don't live up to their name. The salesman was great, but the fiance people and sales manager were rude and uncooperative in follow up phone calls. They completed the vehicle paperwork incorrectly THREE TIMES, even after being told the correct information. Everyone on the phone after the sale was not FRIENDLY at all. Wouldn't recommend a visit there.

I recently purchased a $30,000 Chevrolet Silverado from this dealership. Jimmy Crenshaw was my Personals Sales Associates and is amazing, I would recommend him to anyone apart from the dealership which he is employed at. I performed almost everything via phone and internet as I am a very busy man, jimmy was amazing through the entire process even until this day, everything was ready for me to sign when I arrived on my lunch break to pick up my "Certified Used" vehicle and the trade in process was simple aswell. With in 2 day with the vehicle I noticed white dotes covering the entire surface was I was washing it I noticed it wash paint, becoming alarmed I started looking closer at my truck the passager side tail light had a hole in it and both rear mates where missing... aggravated I call Jimmy he ensured me that everything will be ok and just to bring the vehicle in and he will have it detailed and the light fixed; and delivered promise. A month later I went to start my truck and the battery was completely die. At this point im completely done I then take my truck to a dealership in Plano off Preston st. Which serviced and replaced the battery with in 30 mins. Ok everything up to par or at least I thought it was... another month later before I leave for a trip I took my truck to discount tire to have my tires rotated they inform me my alinement is slight lyrics off and it eating the edges of my tires. I purchased the truck with aftermarket rim, I called Friendly Chevrolet for the last time informed them of the issue and enlightened the sales manager of past issue he asked me to hold, shortly returned told me that there was nothing that can be done... asked me who my service tech wash, I responded I dont have one a his facility. Mr Herrera took my name and phone number and told me he'd give me a call back hours later I returned his phone call. His response "it could have happened driving down the streets of Dallas" and he couldn't help me. WARNING: all future buyers save your time and money, dont waste your time I will never buy nor recommend anyone ever to purchase a vehicle from Friendly Chevrolet and I am happly on the search to purchase another vehicle to cut all ties with this horrible dealership. Happy Searching reads I hope my experience has enlightened you to reconsider.

Yes, it takes time for them to do all the paperwor and stuff but a week later they call me back to re-sign the papers as they got me an even lower interest rate. I have bought my last 4 vehicles from Friendly. I drove by to look at the new 2014 Silverado. I walked up and down the lines of trucks. I peered in and out of vehicles for a good 20+ minutes. No one offered to help. I walked up to the office, and no one assisted. I asked a man if he was in sales, and he said yes. I told him I was interested in the extended cab Silverado. He told me that he was sorry that the only model they had was the crew cab. He handed me his card and said to check with him next week "when we should get them in."I was pissed, because I wanted to test drive the new Silverado. I left.I went over to Sewell and looked around at the GMC models. Strangely, no one at their place wanted to assist me either... LOL I got into my truck, started to drive home, and I called Friendly. I had Francis answer the phone, I told him I wanted to check out the new Silverados. He immediately said for me to come in and look at your inventory and "get a feel of the truck"... I did.Francis greeted me when I pulled up, he immediately addressed me by name, and shook my hand. We probably test drove 4 Silverado trucks. I was unhappy with the "bells and whistles" offered on the models. I was just about wait and I decided to test drive a Chevy Camaro, it was just a whim. Francis under the impression I was not going to buy. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE CAMARO. This is coming from a total truck man my whole life. We test drove 4 models, and decided to purchase. He worked with me GREAT. He answered every single question, noted the importance of me being a repeat customer, and gave me an excellent value of my Silverado LTZ trade-in.Yes, I'm 41 years old, and never had a car with so many gadgets and bells to it. As I was getting ready to drive off, it started to rain, embarrassingly I could not locate the wiper blade control. Francis was on his way out (after he made sure I was financed and taken care of), he pulled up behind me and then gave me a "tour" of functions on my new car.He followed up with me today, and just to let you know, please give Francis Oguntosin a huge pat on the back. I never had an issue that was not taken care of to my satisfaction, After Louis became manager, I began working with John Ballard with my 2004 Monte carlo and now he takes care of my Trailblazer. My discriptions of what I think is wrong, are somehow decipher by John and taken care of to my satisfaction. By the way the Courtsey drivers are just that, courteous and a pleasure.

My wife and I went to Friendly Chevrolet with the intent of buying a brand new, 2013 Chevy Traverse. We were shown cars that were 2012's and then were initially given pricing of a new 2013 Traverse. We walked out, were called the next day by Oscar, who rallied to our cry for a new car and our repulsion that a dealer would even attempt to sell us a year old car with almost 8000 miles on it for same price as a brand new one. We were told there was a Traverse LS that included the rearview cam and towing package that was a very nice 2013 and that they would work to get it to the price we wanted to keep with our budget. After all day of numerous calls throughout the day, we finally were told Friendly Chevrolet would sell their car to us for the price we wanted. Then, once we arrived to complete the paperwork and complete the buying transaction, we were told that the price we were quoted was based on 76 months of financing rather than 72, and that would cost us an additional $22/month, which was NEVER disclosed to us until we spoke w Rance, who completed the paperwork for us. We almost decided to get up and leave, except that we did get a good percentage rate on the loan, which "the Big Man" got for us himself, and WE DO APPRECIATE that! However, I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER VEHICLE from Friendly Chevrolet. Terrible service from the sales staff, extremely poor job of keeping word given on several items, and non-disclosure of important information, for the sake of making a sale. Never again! Never again!

When I financed I let them know I would like to refinance in a few months for a lower rate and they called me a week later and had worked a deal for me. I went from just of 10% interest to 0%. Took my 2006 Saturn for ignition casing replacement and the radio ended up not working. Everytime I take my Saturn for repairs at Friendly Chevrolet, something else goes wrong with the car. Paid over $1000 to end up with, now, radio not working. Friendly Chevrolet would not investigate the matter. The radio was operable when I had it towed to FC. I was just told that I would have to replace the radio, which could cost me about $800 or more dollars to replace the darn thing. Friendly Cheverolet just wants $$$$ and does not care for the consumer or their cars. Very disappointed.

I made my most recent purchase a few months ago and recently brought my truck back for its first service. Things went so smoothly I thought I owed them the time to write this review. I have bought 3 vehicles from them and each time it's easy, fun and simple. I do a little homework before I go and get an idea of what is fair and then go see if I can make a deal. Not only do I make this easy for myself I make it easy for them. I ask for my price that I felt was fair what I want for my trade and they talk to the manager for about 2-5 minutes and then bring me my paperwork. The finance guys were always great they make finishing the paperwork simple and easy too. I like it when you get to deal with people that know how to do their job, and dont treat you like just another person through the door. They went above and beyond what I thought they would or could do. I had my truck clean and ready to go with my Onstar ready for me just to make it easier. When I brought my truck back for service this past week I was really pleasantly surprised on how I was treated. I was greeted right away by a young lady who told me she would help get my information about the vehicle and provide the service guy with the info. When the service guy came over to me he was great too asked about my truck and if there was anything that I had noticed that should be addressed while in for the oil change and tire rotation, which there wasn't but its good to know they want to address it seems like a good time saver for me. Then he asked if I wanted to wait or if I would like a complimentary loaner to run errands while it was being serviced!! I took him up on that and I was on the road made a quick stop grabbed lunch and when I got back the truck was done, washed and ready to go. Turns out what was even bigger surprise was they now cover my first service too. So it was free, painless, quick and thorough. I appreciate good service and this place delivers everytime. If considering a new Chevy there's not a better place you can get one than Friendly Chevy!!

Working with Auto Trader Friendly Chevrolet was recommend as a car buyer. My car was evaluated and I was given a fair sell price. I left the car and expected the dealer to send the payoff amount the next day to my bank. Five business days later, and only after several calls did the dealership send the money. The check sent was not a cashiers check so my bank had to wait to make sure the Griendky check ckeared Now it is exactly 14 days later and I don't have my money for the car I sold them. I simply feel lied to and ripped off. I cannot recommend this dealership.

I went to Friendly Chevorlet last summer to possibly trade my big truck in for a smaller truck. I had an 08 1 ton chevy duramax dually, loaded with a 6inch lift/35 inch tires/etc. my truck retail price was right at $46,000. It was a very nice truck!! I owed right at $40,000 at the time on the truck. They offered to pay my truck off for me and get me in another used 2008 chevy 1500 texas edition without any balance carrying over to the new truck. The truck i was buying was listed at $26,900 but i talked them down to $25,000 because i was trading in my truck which they really wanted to put on their lot. Everything was fine....... at first. I recently looked up the value of my truck because i was thinking of trading it in because now i need a bigger truck to work out of. The most i can get for my truck right now is $20,000. What has me confused and upset is when i called for payoff on my truck they said i still owed $30,080 after i have already paid a years worth of payments.I have a middle of the road interest rate. If i would have kept my DURAMAX i would actually owe less than what i do now. They somehow changed some numbers on my contract and really gave me the shaft. I do not think that they care about repeat business nor do they care about their customers. I know for a fact that they purposefully edited the numbers on the contract and i am now seeking legal counsel to resolve this issue. If you are planning to buy a vehicle from them and have any questions then feel free to call me, or if you work for the dealership and want to help resolve this issue then call me. Chris Snyder the sales manager was very up front with what he could do price wise and very honest. The sales consultant david did a wonderful job explaining the truck and all its features and showed me a demo to save me some money which i liked the most!! The finance manager was very pleasant although i am difficult to to deal with at times. After i got done with the finance manager i went to see Chris Malone, she explained everything in detail and just topped off a awesome experience. I have already told several people about my experience at Friendly Chevrolet and will continue to do so, i strongly recommend this dealer to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle!!!

Friendly Chevrolet is one of the most improperly managed and unprofessional businesses I have ever dealt with. Here is my experience with Friendly. I saw a Chevrolet Avalanche for sale on Ebay. It was a good looking truck for a pretty good price and being that I live in Boston I really wanted a truck from a part of the country where there is no salt on the roads. I asked James, a salesperson, to send me some pictures of the undercarriage just to be sure there was no rust. He was supposed to send me the pictures on Monday before 9 pm and when he didn't send them I called and Heather, a secretary, told me they would be sent the next morning before 10 am which they were. As soon as I received them I called James and told him I wanted the truck. We agreed to a price and went through the process of completing the necessary paperwork. I then received a phone call from Heather telling me that there was another buyer interested in the truck and that I needed to wait to see if I could still buy the truck that I thought I had just closed the deal on. So I sent in my paperwork and deposit assuming that there must be some mistake, after all James already told me I had the truck. I diligently called heather and James for the rest of the day trying to figure out what was going on with my paperwork and what the next thing I needed to do was. The fact that they were ignoring me was my first clue that something wasn't right. After hours of waiting for a call I tried again and finally I got an answer from James. He informed me that the truck he sold me that morning had actually been "sold" the night before to someone who "said" he wanted the truck but had not completed any of the paperwork nor had he made a deposit. There's really very little I could do from Boston but I told a manager, Chris my story and he seemed willing to try to help me find another truck which made me feel better about the dealership. Unfortunately, ignoring customers seems to be a common trend there because Chris who was eager to help is now missing in action. I strongly urge people not to go to this dealership and to anyone who does, stay away from James, Heather and Chris. They are perfectly pleasant and polite but unfortunately incompetent.

The absolute WORST experience I have ever had! Friendly Chevrolet should be changed to We Dont Care About You Chevrolet. I wasnt at dealer more than ten minutes before the manager told me he couldnt help me without $5000 down on a $12000 vehicle? Before I could laugh in his face I asked what options and solution they had to sell this truck and he said NONE, Sorry we cant help you. I am appalled by the lack of effort and service they provide. The shocker is I went up the road to a competitor and was approved for a BRAND NEW $24000 car with no hassle or down payment, they were glad to accept my trade in. Being that I work in the auto industry I will promise to never let anyone I encounter buy a vehicle from Friendly Chevrolet!

I came in wanting a truck, not really knowing if I would qualify for one. I met salesman Bryan Chaney and we went right into business. Before I got all excited about a new truck, Bryan made sure I would get approved. After I was approved, then we went and found the truck I wanted. I test drove it and right away I knew this was the one I wanted. Bryan was very friendly, easy to work with and very honest. I told him exactly what my conditions were and he made every attempt to accommodate them. He has very good customer service, to the point were he went to a near by convenient store to pick me up a COKE because the machine at the dealer was out of regular coke. He walked me through the entire process and made sure my wife and I were comfortable. He even gave my daughter some candy which just made things better. I would like to thank Bryan and Friendly Chevrolet for the opportunity they gave me of doing business with them. Mike from finance, thank you also, he was very nice and courteous. He explained the finance processes and made sure I was happy. Overall, this was a great experience and I will definitely buy my next car here.

The car has spent more time in the shop than it has been on the road. It has been in the shop for weeks at a time for various problems which still continue until this day. Terry Malone is a slick fast talking car salesman who only wants your money, he is as shady as they get, do not do business with him, buyer beware!!! I tried to speak to Terry Malone and Clint (Used Car Manager) about my problems with the car and they just turned their backs on me and ignored me, this shows their real concern for the customer. I don't want to see anyone go through the hassle, stress, and grief that I have had to go through. ***BUYER BEWARE***

I just purchased a 2008 Silverado. It was a very satisfactury vehicle buying experience. I thought they would treat me poorly because I was shopping price very competetivly. To my suprise, I was treated with respect and after a little of the usual dealership price shuffle, I was offered the lowest price out of several local Chevy dealers. After we made the deal, there were absolutly no games, finance gave me a competitive interest rate, didn't have any hidden add-ons, and the delivery process was handled effeciently. I wasn't buying the most expensive vehicle that they had, but they made me feel like I was. The professionalism that I observed made me proud to be purchasing an American product at an American dealership. I received a full tank of fuel, floor mats and the truck was spotless. I found a used vehicle by their internet listing, called the dealer 3 times over 5 day period, last time 25 minutes before I got there to verify the unit was there (By VIN and stock number) and had the features I was looking for. Was confirmed all three times. When I asked for Rene she was in back office, they brought her out, and she acted like she was going to get the keys, brought back another salesman, passed me off to him, he wanted to fill out a lead sheet(credit app). When I told him it was a cash deal, that I just wanted to save time by looking at the vehicle first, he still tried to get sheet info.
