Terrible dealership that was good, once upon a time. I talked to 9 different people to buy 1 car. No one communicates with each other and they play every game in the book. I eventually got a decent deal but it wasn't worth the aggravation. I will do my best to buy elsewhere next time. They also sold me a filfty car that I'm still trying to get waxed and bluffed.

This place was great! Chris Flores was the gentleman that assisted us with our Mazda CX-5 purchase. He was very patient and straight forward with us. He answered all of our questions, and worked very hard to get us a good interest rate. It was also great to not have to argue over insurance packages we were not at all interested in. We traveled all the way from the Inland Empire, and they had no problem delivering the vehicle to us free of charge. I strongly recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership.

Special thanks to Galpin Mazda and Justin Permijo for helping us get into a brand new Mazda CX-9 after someone made an illegal u-turn on Olympic Blvd and totaled our car. In a climate of chip shortages and outrageous dealer mark-ups, Galpin Mazda made the process of car buying so much more palatable. Thanks to Julio Gonzalez, this has been by far our best experience buying a new car. We contacted him on a Thursday by accident (we meant to call another dealership) and from the get-go he sounded very upfront and willing to help. Julio was very patient with us and he made us feel comfortable dealing with him. After a couple of phone calls and some text messages, he helped us locate the exact car we were looking for at a great price. We met two days after at the dealership and he honored everything we agreed upon over the phone. On top of getting us a great price, he also was able to get us 0 APR! Angel Frausto helped me into a new CX-9 and the process was quick and painless. He was patient, knowledgeable, and willing to bend over backwards. We did a lot of the legwork via emails and text before I even arrived on the lot, so the visit was more spending time with the car and less poring over paperwork. When I asked if he could take the personalized plates off of my trade and put them on the new car, he made it happen and handled the DMV paperwork. Top-notch service!

I accompanied my girlfriend to inquire about leasing a Mazda 3. Set up an appointment, test drive, we go and do the normal dance of sit and chat about options, then the back and fourth of numbers with long periods of absence to do 3rd grade math. Finally, they come back with their best number and its a good price. However, my girlfriend explains that as previously discussed with the dealership, she has her paperwork at home for the lease pull ahead which would knock the price down even more. She decides to not sign contract and wants to go home to find paperwork. Salesman says ok and then we are taken, I still don't understand the logic after her decision was made to go home, they wanted us to go into the Managers office. Maybe a friendly thank you for visiting we look forward to seeing you tomorrow with your paperwork? No the salesman hands over the paperwork to Will who looks it over and tells her she can sign a "contract" today regardless if she has the paperwork at home. My girlfriend politely says she would like to find that paperwork before she commits due to every dollar counts since she's a waitress. Then Will says again to sign the contract regardless of the paperwork and this goes on for three more exchanges before I have to step in and stop this insulting demeanor of Will. He knew exactly what he was doing trying to pressure her into folding and signing the contract even though she clearly said three times she would like to find her paperwork. Please don't fall victim to this mentality and lack of dignity of Will the manager. We will never go back or purchase a $22,000 vehicle from Galpin Mazda not due to price but character.

Used Galpin Lincoln this time; other Galpin divisions in the past. Sale reps always very knowledgeable and friendly without pressure. Service when needed is very responsive. Showrooms spacious and clean with Starbucks or other snack service. The Lincoln MKZ 400 hp AWD Black Label is best car I've ever driven, with every advanced feature and incredible power. Will never even consider BMW or Mercedes again. Highly recommend Steve Rodgers as sales rep.

Best car dealership I've ever worked with. The entire staff was incredibly friendly. You can tell that they stress customer service here. The salesman I worked with, Philip Policarpio, was amazing. I told him what I wanted and what my budget it was and he made it happen, no questions asked. He didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need or try to rip me off. He truly wanted to help me get the car I wanted at the best deal possible. He even spent the time after he made the sale to walk through everything in my new 2016 Mazda CX-5 and make sure I knew everything about my lease. I 100% recommend Galpin Mazda and Philip Policarpio. If I end up getting another Mazda after this lease is up, there is no doubt in my mind that I will work with Philip again.

Everything seemed to be going well until I sat down to sign the papers. That's when my wife and I started to notice that many of the things that were promised to us by our "car shark" named Jasmine were not true. I'm not naive, I understand that dealers promise many things in order to get you to sit down, but this was my worst experience ever. Not only was the price changed dramatically with the usual hidden fees, they also tried to add GAP insurance that Galpin sells themselves onto my tab. Jasmine told us up front that GAP was INCLUDED (we asked because we have been burned before) and then she tried to play dumb and couldn't remember. We almost walked out right there, but they "negotiated" them selves down to a lesser price which we accepted. We were also told that our Lease trade in would be handled by them, and that we would NOT incur the turn-in fee for the vehicle. Jasmine showed me the vehicle condition form she was supposed to fill out and then said, "We don't need to do this, I've never done it, not sure how to even do it." So we gave over our keys, bought our new car and took off after a WAY too long experience.The next day Jasmine calls me panicked that THEY forgot to ask for our down payment check. They forgot, but they wanted me to drive back over there to pay them. I did this for them, and then a week later I started getting calls for our old leased car. Turns out that GALPIN never filed the paper work on my old car and apparently even though I traded it in, it was my responsibility to handle this issue. I called Jasmine and she could not locate the car or the paperwork for 2 weeks, meanwhile I am getting harassed by a collection agency. After it was finally resolved, I got a BILL for nearly $1000 from the old lease. It included the turn-in fee and damages to my car that were never expressly written down by GALPIN MAZDA at the point of trade. Since they also "lost" my car for 2 weeks, I can not be sure it was not while it was under their care.Their response, "It's not our problem."I will never use Galpin again, and I have already gone out of my way to warn others about this experience. Never trust a car dealer, but just don't even bother with Galpin anything, they are crooks.

I came here multiple times before I actually made the purchase on October 17, 2015. The first I came here, I met with Robert Sardariani and went on a test drive of the Mazda3. I already knew which I wanted to buy and just wanted to test drive it to make a decision between a Mazda and a Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. I had planned to buy the car sometime in January 2016 originally. I kept in contact with Robert through text and he gave me a quote for the car. I decided to come in to discuss some details about the purchase with Robert but he had already gone home by the time I arrived. John Spindler helped answer all of my questions and I went home to discuss it. We had decided that it would be okay to buy the car now because the price was decent. So the weekend after, we came back and met John and he worked hard to get me a price I was happy with. I was super ecstatic about my Mazda3 and have loved it since buying it. Once the payments are completed, I'll be coming back to Galpin Mazda for my next car.

I bought a 2016 Mazda CX-5 here earlier this week. I had done my research and gotten quotes from various dealerships nearby. A while ago, a friend of mine had recommended a family friend/salesman, Michael Moses and they put me in touch with him. Michael called me and when I explained that I had the quote, he said that he would match it. Given my experience at other dealerships, I was skeptical but my friend reassured me that he had dealt with Michael many times before and he was great. He made an appointment to see me that same night. Once we got to the dealership, Michael was really great, friendly, and warm. He asked what car I wanted and asked for the quote and right away said he'd be able to match it no problem-- just as he had promised to over the phone. I also had another certificate from going to the LA Auto Show and he honored it too. After running my credit, he walked with me over to the sales manager and told him that I came in with the quote and that he wanted to match it-- the manager agreed (None of these games that other dealerships and salesmen play where "OH, let me go to my manager and see what we can do... I'm on your side and I'm going to go put my punching gloves on so I can fight to get you the best price" --- ACTUAL quote from a prior buying experience at another dealership). It was very clear that Michael was a very respected salesman and that the manager respected and even deferred to his expertise. They found the car I wanted in another lot and started driving it over and even gave us free dinner at the Galpin Restaurant as we waited for the car to be transported. My wife and I kept on waiting for the "games" or the "catch" to start but there were none. After many high fives, fist bumps, and hugs, we walked out of the dealership in the EXACT car we wanted at the EXACT price we wanted. It was such a great experience. We've already gone and told our friends and family about it too so that they can go see Michael.

Not only did Galpin offer me the best deal of the four dealerships I negotiated with, they also provided by far the best after deal support I have experienced from any car dealership. I've been purchasing cars for over five decades and our sales representative, Eric Felder, has been unbelievably fantastic in answering all our questions and extremely knowledgeable about our new Lincoln MKZ.Only problem I've experienced to date is your "vehicle brand" drop down list does not work. I cannot get it to say "Lincoln" no matter how many times I click on the drop-down button. If I switch "Reason for visit" answer I can select "Lincoln." I also leased the car, did not purchase it.

Galpin Mazda was a great place to get the deal I receive on my new Vehicle this Labor Day weekend. Having already considered what I wanted to buy, I went into the dealership with a lot of questions. This was my first time buying a vehicle myself and was not familiar with much when dealing with prices, financing, payment plans, interest rates, vehicle maintenance, etc. The dealership, before we even started the process, was extremely accommodating with my family and I.Philip Policarpio, my sales associate, had already been at Galpin Mazda and worked there for 16 years, so I had a lot of faith in his knowledge of the Mazda brand, the cars, and dealing with providing wonderful service. He was very helpful as well as personable and friendly. We test drove the car, and he went over all the features that the Mazda Touring CX-5 possessed. It was great that he explained things while I was testing the vehicle so i could see first hand what I would need to be aware of while driving this high tech car. When it came time to go over all the technical info and deals we could get for the car, Philip was very patient, informed and guided us every step of the way in purchasing the car. He spoke to us about every car feature in great detail and the deals that the dealership could give up in trading in my old car to help with the down payment for the new one. Neff from financing then helped with doing all the final paper work, which can be tedious, but he was also very patient and informative, explaining what each document was and what it meant for me to sign it. He helped us with a good deal for extended warranty and other other things I would want to get to insure my cars protection in case of accidents or damage to the car.Overall, my experience here was very good and everyone was great. Michael Moses was recommended by friends. I, we, found out they are truly friends. Our experience at Galpin with Moses (Michael) and his son Josh was excellent. We are already given their names and recommending Moses and Josh to our friends and families. They did not pressure us at all. I was leaiving for a vacation that would entail over 3000 miles of driving and had them do a thorough inspection. They made recommendations of things that needed to be done, as well as items that were not critical and could wait until the next scheduled checkup. The explanation was clear, and the work completed on time. I had no problems on the trip and would recommend having Galpin Mazda do an inspection before any extensive driving experience.

I had been very interested in the Mazda CX-5 for quite sometime. I was recently still stuck on my 3 year lease for a 2014 Honda Civic with about 22 months left on the lease. I thought it was going to be impossible to get out of my current lease. So I went out on a limb and made an appointment to meet with a sales consultant. I specifically went to the dealership to discuss what my options were and how much it would have costed to make the switch if possible. When I arrived at the dealership I had been introduced to Vince. Very friendly and super helpful. Asked me what car I was interested and told him the 2016 CX-5 and within 2 minutes took a trip to the new car lot to see what was in their inventory. I told him I was interested in the grand touring model and we explored the different models available. Eventually I was able to find a grand touring model in white with black interior. Test drove it back to the dealership and went on from there to discuss numbers.From there Vince was super helpful and and not overly pushy to sell me a car. I was honestly not expecting to come out of there with a brand new car. I was only interested in seeing my options. While discussing my options I wasn't able to get the 2016 model of the CX-5 with the payments that fit me. However Vince was able to get me in the 2015 model grand touring for a great price and also was able to get me out of my current lease. From the guys at the sales department all the way to the finance department, they were able to provide helpful and awesome service. Definitely looking to purchase another car again from Galpin.

I was interested in the Mazda 3 S, but was concerned about having to go through the very typical hassle of a car-buying experience, with all of its attendant stresses: being forced to go in the dreaded merry-go-round of haggling-- never knowing if you'll get to the "right" place, not getting a knowledgeable salesman who REALLY knew his/her product, and, well, you know what I mean. Well, was I in for a pleasant surprise. I was able to find that type of salesman I wanted to find at the nearest dealership--Galpin Mazda, only 5 miles away. Tony McGilchrist was absolutely exceptional: He did ALL that is necessary for a positive car buying experience: Friendly reception; full explanations of the differences among the different Mazda 3's; showed me the car I preferred in different color combinations; explained in comprehensive detail the various components of the car and how they worked (and by comprehensive, I mean that he gave me a hands-on, feature-by-feature tutorial); allowed me a few test drives to get a good feel for the car; and, thoroughly explained the different financial arrangements that were available. He is very knowledgeable about his product and his business, very personable, and certainly very patient (including he took as much time as was needed to not only teach me how various components of the car worked, but competently answered EVERY question I asked. He also returned all of my phone calls promptly, and still is in my post-purchase experience. Tony is about as good an auto sales consultant an auto shopper could find. I was lucky enough to find him at what I believe to be a very fine Mazda dealership Again, and it does bear repeating because it is so impressive, Tony's post-sales service has been great. I highly recommend him. Kudos to him! BTW, even the receptionist phone service at Galpin Mazda was friendly and more than helpfulregardless of what time I called. This was one GREAT car buying experience (I know, that is an oxymoronic phrase, but its true).

Thank you Galpin Mazda, and Michael and Josh Moses for a great car buying experience! I live in New Mexico and was purchasing long-distance a Mazda 3 for my granddaughter in the LA area. I knew the exact car I was looking for and the price-range that was reasonable. I dealt with another LA area dealership for over a week previously trying to reach a fair deal for a car in their inventory but they never did what they said they would do. The general manager never even called me back when he said he would! Long story short, I went online searching for another dealer who had the car I needed. Galpin Mazda with their huge inventory had the exact vehicle I was searching for, but I couldnt stop there. I needed a sense of the integrity of the dealership, so I looked Galpins website (they have a Mission Statement. . . read it and you will be impressed). By the grace of God I discovered a website that rated dealers. Galpin scored off the charts great! Additionally, the father/son sales duo Michael and Josh Moses did too. I called Michael Moses, got right through to him and we had a deal within five minutes! I was extremely happy with the whole experience, and my granddaughter is even happier!Save yourself time and money, and most importantly deal with the best. Dont go anywhere else.

I have been doing business with Galpin Motors for over 30 years. Almost all of my upper management contacts have retired, however, Tim Mendenhall, is now the GM of Mazda. Tim sold me my 2003 F150 so I went to visit him. Michael and Josh Moses were assigned to show me around. I was not really prepared to buy or lease a new car, but after test driving the Mazda M6 I decided it was time to get into a new vehicle. Tim worked the numbers and within a few hours I drove home in my new ride. Moses was very professional with no pressure and helped in whatever I needed. I even got a free lunch at their restaurant, very delicious by the way.

I think buying a car is a big pain in the butt. If youre like me you do tons of research. And then you need to go test drive the cars you like. It takes a ton of time and is a lot of work. My wife and I did shop around and had a pretty good deal lined up from another dealer far away but wanted my local Mazda dealer to match. We came to Galpin Mazda and had the pleasure of working with salesman Michael Moses and his son Josh Moses. Wow what great service we received! Mike is very personable and listened to everything we were trying to do. We had a big problem at the start as we needed to sell our car and our buyer at another competitors car dealership had backed out and left us hanging out to dry. Mike actually called that dealership to try to see what happened (they said theyd buy our car one day, and two days later they backed out). It turns out there was a miscommunication on their end so whatever. But we still had a car to unload. Galpin did an appraisal on site and we got a very competitive offer. So we sold our car to Galpin and moved forward to lease the car we were looking at. Unfortunately the car wasnt on site it had to come over from their sister site in Valencia. It would be a while until the car arrived and the we could see the finance manager. Mike sent us across he street to the Galpin restaurant The Horseless Carriage for a dinner on the house for my family. My son, wife and I ate quite a tasty meal and were totally stuffed. That place is like an old diner and the food is good by the way! Mikes son Josh came over to get us so we could start signing papers. We signed everything with the finance guy Kareen, who was great. He had everything together and we signed the papers pretty quickly. He didnt hard sell the optional maintenance or tire repair service. Good guy. Anyway, we had a very good experience at Galpin Mazda.

Being the first time buying a car on my own, and only having to do it because my last car had been totaled, John Martinez made this experience go very smoothly and I could not have asked for better service. From the moment I stepped foot on the lot, he greeted me with kindness and never once did he try to sell me something I did not want. Galpin Mazda is not a dealership like any other. Personally I have no pleasure in dealing with pushy sales people, or for that matter stepping foot into a dealership. Knowing that my lease would soon be up, I knew I could not procrastinate any longer. I knew I would need to rally up all my energy to begin this exhausting, and overwhelming car shopping process.I have to admit after working with John Martinez at Galpin Mazda my negative outlook on the "car buying experience" has changed. John was very personable and listened to all my needs anywhere from features to budget. The whole experience was very pleasant, but best of all I never felt pressured or rushed at any point during my purchase. He was very thorough through the entire process, and despite closing the deal late on a Sunday night, he was nice enough to explain ALL the features my new car had to offer... I mean seriously... down to the last detail. I am so happy with my new Mazda 3 and thanks to John my entire perspective has changed. I am no longer intimidated by the thought setting foot into a dealership. John's knowledge, honesty, and professionalism are all reasons why I would recommend Galpin Mazda to anyone. You cannot go wrong with Galpin Mazda. I've been dealing with several of the greater Los-Angeles Mazda dealerships for a few weeks now. All of them have disappointed me. Many disappear on you if you try to communicate through email before going in. However, Galpin was a straight shooter the entire time. No hard sellers, no nickel and diming. They communicated effectively and quickly. They honor everything mentioned in emails. When I finally went into the store, I met with Robert. Incredibly genuine and authentic. I'm from the Midwest so I'm frugal and am always looking for the best deal. I felt Robert honestly gave me the best deal he could get from his GM. And, it was a great deal! When I talked to him over the phone, he said I would walk out happy, and I can assure you, I am a very happy customer. Galpin Mazda has won a returning, and potentially lifetime customer, with me. Misha also deserves to be commended for his excellent customer service when I had come in previously. Misha showed me how all the bells and whistles of the car worked and was very patient in explaining how the car works and answering all the questions I had. You can't go wrong working with Misha or Robert.

No stars (1 given because I had to). I am so angry and annoyed with Galpin Mazda. They've lost a very satisfied customer. I can't believe I used to say so many nice things about Galpin Mazda and recommend them to everyone. I was a customer of their in 2011 and they've proven this time around in 2014 that they have NO CUSTOMER LOYALTY for someone who has been leasing from them for 3.5 years. NONE.3 years ago, I would have given Galpin Mazda a 5-star glowing review, and I glad I didn't. (xxxx, I would've given them a glowing review 2 months ago.) in 2011, I met with John Martinez and leased a new 2011 Mazda 3 (my first lease ever), and it ended up being a breath of fresh air after dealing with so many other dealerships and bad salesmen. I said that to him. It was easy. The car was affordable. We were taken care of and my satisfaction was a 10 out of 10. The manager worked within my budget after we got screwed over really hard by Volkswagen by making the same offer that VW originally had on the table for us. Now it's 2014, and my Mazda 3 lease is due to be up in a month. I've been shopping around for other hatchbacks (Ford Focus, for one) but honestly thought I wanted to stick with Mazda because I've had such a great experience with them. Because I liked the car. I really like the pickup of the Mazda 3 sport. It's a good car. I've been dealing with Tony McGilchrist this time and, although he seemed to be like John, this experience was worthy of no-stars. However, I don't blame Tony because I know he answers to someone higher-up.This time, Mazda did not work within my budget. They originally tried to talk me into a Sedan, which I was very clear I didn't want. I pretty much walked out of our first meeting because of this. I said I would come back and I did. I was entertaining taking a 2014 Mazda 3 (the previous year) because I knew the deal would be better for the car they're trying to get rid of for the 2015 cars rolling in and, I don't care, I just wanted another Mazda 3 with them. After much negotiation and sitting around for hours over 2 visits, I get offered a much higher monthly lease payment for the same money down. Then I get hard lined. Why? Because Galpin Mazda thinks their cars are more valuable now than they were in 2011. They think more people will be willing to buy them. Forget the fact that I'm a repeat happy customer. Forget that I've been loyal and recommended a lot of business over to them. (My coworker Ann got the same card I have in a Sedan from them.) They forgot all of that - Galpin Mazda decided to not work within my budget. They even went as far as to only offer me the previous year's hatchback they're trying to get rid of. They didn't even try to get me the newer car. They even initially tried to offer me it in a color I was clear I didn't want so, this last visit, I was clear what color I wanted. But, this time, I was told I shouldn't even entertain the 2015 Mazda 3 because it'll be much more expensive than I wanted. In order to get the payment I had negotiated in 2011, I was told I'd have to pay an additional 1350 down, and that was on top of 1650 already down (this 1650 included a measly $750 return-customer appreciation offer - which is no better than most dealerships that offer $750-1000 off if you switch to their dealer). I paid 900 down the first time!!!! Why is it so much more expensive for a loyal customer???? The car is the same price as my current Mazda!!! 3000 down? Are you joking???All in all I walked away today extremely dissatisfied and regretting ever leasing a Mazda from Galpin. I want to let everyone know about my dissatisfaction, and to avoid Galpin at all costs because they're not loyal to loyalty. I'll be sure to post this rating everywhere possible so everyone knows that GALPIN MAZDA IS NOT LOYAL TO THEIR MOST LOYAL CUSTOMERS. It's a shame I had to learn this now. Making 20 extra dollars off me a month + a RIDICULOUS down payment is more important to Galpin Mazda than having me drive another car off their lot.I got an email from Galpin Mazda the other day when I visited them titled "Your complete satisfaction is key." You can say whatever you want Galpin, but your actions prove you definitely don't mean it. Customer loyalty means nothing to Galpin Mazda, and they chose to turn away someone who is fiercely loyal. In this case, actions definitely speak louder than words.I'll be indignantly handing back my 2011 Mazda 3 in the next month.On a side note, the Mazda 3 is a great little car with great sporty features like amazing pickup, and I'd recommend it to anyone. I'm going to be making some treks outside of LA to other Mazda dealerships in order to find someone else worthy of my Mazda loyalty.

I love my new 2014 Mazda3 Hatchback and my purchase experience at Galpin Mazda in Van Nuys was above outstanding. Most particularly, my Galpin sales associate, Dawney Tugadi, personally made my purchase happen. I had a trade-in which I still owed money on and a very set purchase price and end-result car payment I could afford. Dawney expended extraordinary effort to push to get the very best trade in offer for me as well as getting me the best new car purchase price (I do not believe I could have obtained a better trade in or purchase price anywhere else nor through any other sales associate). Dawney absolutely went to town for me. And, while I, ultimately, decided on the Mazda3 Hatchback, through Galpin's network of associated dealerships, Dawney could also have assisted me with purchasing either a Honda, Suburu or Ford if I had decided to go with one of these makes. Dawney personally made this car purchase the best one I've ever had and, it wasn't easy for her, because I had multiple criteria I needed to be met (even above a set financial budget). If you're looking for a new Mazda, Honda, Suburu or Ford, call Dawney at Galpin Mazda and I believe she will do right by you.

Couldn't have been better. They have a great selection of cars. Bob Ware is very helpful and "not pushy". He gently led me through the process. Even the finance process with Karren was easy. Great team to work with! I love my Mazda 3 -I touring car. Perfect car for me.

I bought a CX-5 on Wednesday. I showed up and was greeted by Michael Moses. He was one of the friendliest people I have ever met. He didn't try to hassle me around or "upgrade" me as I told him I already knew what I wanted. We found the right car and went through the rest of the process. I was in and out of there in an HOUR AND A HALF! Was the simplest buying process I have ever experienced!

I was dreading the whole process of buying my first car because every time I entered a car dealership I was stalked by salesmen trying to push a hard sale. Usually I don't trust reviews but my girlfriend persuaded me to go Galpin Mazda, because it has excellent ones. I should listen to her more often because my experience couldn't have been better. Philip the salesman was of great help, very respectful and helped me get the best financing deal in the world.

I was in a process of buying my new Lincoln Navigator 2014 and after checking a couple of deals I was referred to Michael Moses of Galpin Lincoln. i gave him a call and it was a really right thing to do. Michael and his son Josh took a great care of me by not only giving me a great deal but also making me enjoy the time I spent there. As a result I am very happy now driving my new Navigator. I have rated Galpin what it is because they showed me a great car buying experience. I walked in and was asked to make myself feel at home while Michael Moses took care of me. I was offered water and soda and gladly accepted. All the employees kept making sure that i was okay and being taken care of and i even used the front desk phone charger when i needed it. i walked in with one car in mind and that is the car i walked out with, with the deal i wanted. i will be back when my lease is up

I got a call from John about 3 months before my lease was set to mature. He was never pushy. I decided to go to Galpin Mazda in Van Nuys since it was closer to test drive a new Mazda 3. They gave me their lowest price and I set out to battle 8 dealerships against each other. One by one they dropped out of the race and I narrowed it down to one amazing bid from a dealership with lots of bad reviews on the other side of town, known for making promises they can't keep. I promised John that I would come to him last just to make sure he couldn't get me the lowest possible price on the car I wanted. Sure enough, he was able to beat everyone else's bids by a long shot and I got a deal I was not expecting to get. John started the process on the phone and then stayed at the dealer after hours waiting for me to get there with not one complaint. I can't recommend him enough to anyone who is in the market for any car that Galpin sells... not only Mazdas... even though the Mazda 3 is the best car on the market right now.

Well I was overall pleased with my service. I had an amazing dealer help me out all the way through my whole process. His name is Nef! He took me on an amazing test drive and he knew exactly what he was talking about when describing the vehicle I was purchasing. This was my first car purchase and Nef did everything possible to help me with my purchase. I made my purchase with him at Galpin on Roscoe! I recommend anyone to go to NEF for any car purchases!

The Great experience of purchasing my first car in 2003 in Galpin Motors was the best reason for me to go back there for my second car after 11 years !I worked with Mr. Yourik Ghadimi back then . A wonderfully pleasant experience indeed with Mr. Philip Policarpio !! A definite asset to the dealership !Mr Policarpio was helpful and very understanding of our situation. He was very patient and not pushy as what you would expect of a car sales person. From the first handshake, you felt that you came to the right place and was communicating with the right person. Philip helped us pick the right car for our daughter with consideration on how the car is going to be used and the budget we have. Test drove the car and back to the dealership to discuss pricing and the different financing options. No bargaining needed as we know he gave us the best possible price. My father had an arrangement with a consultant he spoke to over the phone but when we got there he was already entertaining other guests, so he recommended us Mr. Policarpio. I did not have a very good experience when I bought my first car and I was still reluctant with talking to another one. To my surprise he was very accommodating and patient, did not rush us nor did he push the idea of buying the car we chose, gave us options and from picking the car to our financing. Big help for me and easier for someone who knows nothing about cars or buying one (even though this is my second car). All was good and I am happy with my purchase.

After being lied to multiple times and sorely disappointed with my experience at Star Mazda in Glendale, I called Galpin Mazda and got Haig on the phone. I explained my frustration to him and told him I wanted to speak to someone who was going to be honest, give it to me straight, and get me a really good deal on my new car. Haig completely understood where I was coming from and he and Robert, his teammate, did exactly that and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was short on time, so they worked with me and we negotiated the whole deal back and forth over the phone. My trade-in had some damage on it that I was concerned would be a big issue (one of the lies I was told at Star Mazda). Haig and Robert worked it all out and it was no issue at all! They kept me in the loop and worked hard to get me the exact deal I wanted and in the end, they went beyond what I expected and got me an even better car than I thought I could get. At the end of the day, all I had to do was drive over and pick up my new car. The transaction was easy and enjoyable and I absolutely love my new car! I purchased a 2014 Mazda CX 5 Touring from John Martinez at Galpin Mazda in August 2013. This was my first new car purchase and it could not have gone better. John was very welcoming- starting with calling to confirm our appointment and meeting me immediately once I arrived. John was very patience answering all my questions and never made me feel stupid or pressured. I was able to test drive the cars I was intersted in on the streets and on the highway. He answered all my questions during the test drive and showed me all the cool features. I didn't feel rushed during the test drive and when discussing prices, he was very up front and honest. He walked me through the different price points and showed me the Edmunds site on his computer so I could see for myself where his prices were coming from. John spent over 3 hours with me on my first visit and followed up the next couple days to be sure I didn't have any other questions. Once I decided to buy, I was able to negotiate based on quotes I received from other Mazda dealerships and John was able to beat their best price. The financing and paperwork that comes with buying a car took quite a while but I was very comfortable the entire time. Since purchasing the car, John has followed up to make sure I'm happy with my purchase and don't have any additional questions. I would definitely recommend John Martinez and Galpin Mazda to anyone looking to buy a Mazda. The experience was exceptional.

I went to Galpin yesterday because I was close to the end of my lease on my 2010 Mazda3 and I wanted to take advantage of the current 2014 Mazda6 lease deal. I called a friend who recommended Galpin and turned out they had one Mazda6 that fit my needs in stock. After a short call with Philip Policarpio, I decided to brave the traffic and head up there.All I can say was the team was great! Philip, Alexis, Claudia and Dan made the experience enjoyable. I think any time you can buy a car the same day you decide to make the call, and be in and out of the dealership in 3 hours with a great deal and zero stress, you're a winner.

I purchased a 2013 Mazda3 with everything that I wanted on it. I originally wanted the 2012 version, but they made a deal I couldn't refuse.Everyone was friendly with genuine smiles. They prepped the car with a thorough washing inside and out (the car had just been delivered, so it only had about 12 miles on it, and it did not appear anyone had driven it but me). The gas tank was filled to the brim. And because the new Mazda had so much technology (and I am a genuine nerd), my salesperson spent 20-30 minutes showing me everything. I had music up and running from my iPhone streaming through the speakers, which was fun.The only problem I had was the length of time to complete the transaction, but Galpin is no worse than anyone else. But they make it much better with free WiFi and a free cup of Starbucks Coffee from a Starbucks barista. So, while waiting for the finance guy (they were backed up), I read news articles on my iPad. Time went fast.Oh one other issue. Keychains are cheap, but giving me a Galipin Ford keychain? Seems a little too cheap.

I looked through all dealers within 75 miles range while shopping for Mazda 3. Funny thing not all dealers want to work with you. Galpin Mazda the only dealership which went all the way. I had some problems with credit. Romero Mazda couldn't help much but Galpin made a deal happen. Now I got my Mazda 3 iGrand Touring with tech package. Love it. I moved from NYC to LA at the end of September, and couldn't be happier with my choice to go with Galpin Mazda. I did my research on Mazda's with consumer reports, test drove the car - I knew exactly what I wanted. It was all down to the best service and the best deal. I called around to different Mazda dealerships in the area and went to sites just like this one to get other people's perspective. Hands down Galpin Mazda had the best reviews. They helped me make my deal over the phone (a fair price), FedEx'd me all the paperwork, answered all my questions - and they even picked me up when I got into town so I could get my new car. Philip was fantastic - he made sure I was comfortable with everything before leaving the dealership. He told me to call him anytime I have a problem, and gave me all the information I needed. Overall this was a great experience.

I was treated fairly and respectfully by everyone involved in my transaction. Whenever I needed to wait, I was offer seating and refreshment. We evaluated several models and test drove them as well. We discussed features and were able to select the exact model we wanted. All things considered the price was fair and reasonable.

Robert Sardariani was our Mazda Sales Consultant, and he was a perfect fit for our needs. His experience as a mechanic and body shop owner has created a unique mix of talents and experience that make him an excellent representative of Galpin. He patiently worked with us and gave us all the time we needed to look over the many outstanding Miatas - both on the lot and in the huge storage facility a few blocks away. We sat in several, admired many color combinations, started engines, raised and lowered the convertible tops, and finally test-drove two cars. That was all we needed - well, that and having Robert's reassuring voice describing the quality of the craftsmanship that goes in to building and maintaining Mazda cars. We went away for dinner and to take some time to think, but couldn't wait to call Robert to ask him to get "our" Miata ready! He was a lovely gentleman through the entire process, which can certainly be daunting! Never pushing or pulling us in any direction, he allowed us to fully and happily make our decision. We had a barrage of questions, and felt so comfortable with Robert that we gladly accepted his advice and suggestions. We now feel like we have our perfect car, and we went ahead with the full package of extended warranties and maintenance agreement with Galpin. Having acquired our "fun" car, we are now very much looking forward to getting one of your small to mid-size SUVs, and we will ONLY shop with Robert and work with Galpin. Everyone we made contact with treated us so very well - from the first phone call to a lovely receptionist to Robert to the manager Urich (sorry - spelling?!?) to Valerie over in the finance area. I am not usually one to give ratings but I feel the need to after my expereance with Galpin Mazda. I have bought many new and used cars in the last 45 years from many dealers. I tend to shop around and talk to several before I purchase. Two nights ago I stumbled into Galpin looking for a Mazda6 that I had seen on Autotrader. I was not approched by a salesperson and wandered into the showroom to find someone and was greeted by Phillip. My wife and I looked at several cars. And drove several cars. And poor Phillip had to move several cars to get the ones my wife wanted to drive, because she always picks the ones in the very back row that is buried behind 2 to 3 hundred cars. Ok, it was only 3 or 4 but it seemed like hundreds. Did I meantion that it was over 100 degrees that day and every car was like an oven to move. At one point I thought to myself "this guy is going to kill us". But Phillip kept smiling and pushing on. We finally settled on one car much to Phillips relief I am sure, and started the process of settling on a price that would work for both of us. This is where most relationships go bad. But not this time. It took time and they worked with myself and my wife..mostly my wife (she is tough)and we made the deal. You would think that it was all over at that point. But with all of the paperwork (Galpin should concider losing some of those form...You may put a couple of printing companies out of business but its a miracle I can still write.) it took some time to finish the transaction. But we never felt stranded or left alone to wait. When the paperwork is finished...its on the road time. NOT. Phillip would not let us leave until we knew everything there was to know about our new used car. He took the time to explain everything and even paired both mine and my wifes phone to the bluetooth. Really went the extra mile. The end result is that now that I know Phillip can sell any brand that Galpin has to offer he will be my families sales rep until he retires.I hope this is ok Uncle Phillip. Just kidding, never met him before 2 nights ago.

Robert was wonderful to work with, he was very up front and honest with our new car deal. I would have rated our experience at all 5's except in the the "overall experience" question, that got a 4, primarily due to we found another car with exact options on it and it was less. I wanted to price match. We were told by Roberts manager that he would match the price but only if we had the other Mazda dealership email me an invoice. Well that took them (the other dealership)over 1 1/2 hours, the other dealership was not very co-operating, which I can understand, but for me to have to wait that long was frustrating, and I showed Robert the price on the internet proving the cost, that experience was almost a deal breaker. Robert was the only reason I stayed and waited, he worked very hard for us and never made us feel guilty. It was my son's First new car buying experience, which overall was really good. From the moment my mom and I walked in. which was at 12:00 pm, we were greated by Robert Sardariani. He sat down with us and listened to our financial situation and needs, then he recommeneded a car. Now, usually we are very hestitant in recommendations at the dealership because everyone is out to get their own. However, with Robert Sardariani my mom and I both got a huge feeling that this man is honest and is not going to play games or make recommendations that benefit him and his sales. He showed us the Mazda 3 and took us for a test drive. He guranteed that this car was not only safe but a very reliable car. We then went back sat down and he went to crunch numbers with his manager. When he came back he had a smile on his face and said to us "You got what you asked for". He not only gave us the payment amount we were shooting for, the intital payment was low as well. He took into consideration our situation with our credit and financial barriers and made us happy. In all the years we have been leasing cars, we have never left the dealership in a few hours, instead where kept there until night time. Robert Sardariani had us out at 3:00 pm sharp, with the help of Karen Antonyan who also made the financing department a pleasure to be in. He worked fast and efficient, with a friendly smile on his face. Which means we were able to test drive and lease a car in 3 hours. He is the best sales person we have ever met. We will be needing 2 more cars in the near future and can't possibly think of going anywhere else but to Robert Sardariani. I have recommended Robert Sardariani to all my friends and family to go to for new cars and I am sure most of them will.

I went to Galpin to buy a new car because of their wide selection of cars. I met an awesome Sales associate named Henrik Einfeldt, who was fantastic. I wasn't in a rush to buy and I wanted to test drive several cars to make sure I get the one I would be happiest with. It took me about a month to finally purchase my new Mazdaspeed3. Throughout the month, Henrik took his time to get to know me, my needs, budget and kept in touch with me through phone calls to help answer any question or concerns I had. Henrik Einfeldt was very knowledgeable about his cars because he's an enthusiast at heart and I very much appreciated his eagerness to find a car that would fit my lifestyle. Henrik went out of his way to make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase and I couldn't be happier with my Mazda or my experience in buying a car from Galpin.

I was very happy with the price i got for my dauthers Mazda 3. The Loan Office Vallery very nice and Yourik Robert's manager was great.

Gary Zubko was definitely the most helpful salesman my mother and I encountered while researching the Mazda3. I explained that I had been at school (without a car) for many months and was not comfortable driving in the area around the Galpin dealerships because let's be honest, it's crazy. Gary took me a fairly good distance away from the surrounding area and let me test drive the car freely. He said, "Drive it around as much as you need to in order to get a good feel." Way better than the salesmen that told me where to go, for how long, and where to turn. Not only that, but he put up with my mother's 20 million questions, and her obsession with trying to find all the major differences between a hatchback and sedan. We said our goodbyes and thanked him for the test drive. When we came back to examine the car some more he helped us out once again and I clearly remembered him and his fantastic customer service. Unfortunately, another dealership was offering a lower price for the vehicle so we felt that we were being forced to give the business to people that didn't know us at all. Gary had taken a lot of his time out to assure that I would fall in love with the Mazda3, which I did. After much back and forth conversation, Gary was able to match the price of the competitors and we gave the sale to him. He earned it. He wasn't a stranger anymore, he had become a friend. I even took a picture with him in front of my car. All I'm trying to say is, if you want a salesman that doesn't make you feel like you're a waste of their time and actually cares about your opinion and voice, give the sale to Gary Zubko. He is such a great guy and now a nice friend to have at the Galpin Mazda dealership. (I know he likes to check his reviews, so Hi Gary!!)

I came all the way from Placerville to the Van Nuys dealership. Galpin was perfect. Got a great deal and was extremely happy. Misha is the greatest, too. This is the company I will go to from now on!

Coming in to Galpin Mazda I knew I was going to be presented with many options for the exact model that I wanted. I knew they were known for ample inventory and great customer service. Yup, that's exactly what I got. Gary Zubko I can say is one of the most pleasant, humorous, caring, and informative salespersons I have ever come into contact with. He made my first dealership experience so memorable. I remember thanking him so many times I lost count. He was very patient and explanatory to my uncle Martin who was also my co-signer. Gary Zubko told us the realistic side to the car questions and concerns I had. Price differences and many many variations of payment options were given to me as very helpful desicion making tools. He helped me hand-select between two models I was pondering and pretty much fitted it to my personal style, I believe the word was 'tomboyish', which describes me to a T. Gary, when I come back after my 48 months you BETTER be there! :)Truly Grateful, Lina A. P.S. I LOVE MY MAZDA! I think I have a name for him already.

Be careful of this place, they are very sneaky. The have loaded all these options onto the car, but they don't tell you up front, and it wasn't listed on the sticker. I wanted a simple basic Mazda 2 Sport Edition, no extras because I was on a budget. We drove the car, liked it and decided to purchase. When we sat down, they informed us the car also had Bluetooth and Lojack installed, and it was an extra $1090 over MSRP. But, they'd give us a "discount" of $500. Right. So I have to pay an additional $590 for items I don't want or need? Plus most people finance, so that $590 will turn into who knows what after 5 years of interest. The salesman kept saying, "You are worrying about 33 cents a month..." I don't know if that was true or not, I doubt it, but honestly, it is a moot point. It is my 33 cents, and if I don't want it to go to a Lojack and Bluetooth, that should be my choice! Doesn't matter if it is 33 cents, or 33 dollars. I tried to work with them, but could only get them to $15650. The MSRP was $15530! Maybe not a big difference, but the problem is they are not honest about what they are doing, and they are taking advantage of people, You are tired after looking at tons of cars, and finally found the one you want - so what is another $600? Well, it is probably pure profit in their pocket, is what it is! And you ended up with Lojack on an economical starter car! Just what you need!

I needed new a car, my 2001 Jimmy GMC was not cutting it anymore. Luckily, I stumbled upon Galpin Mazda of North Hills, CA. I knew I wanted a Mazda, but was uncertain of which model. My salesman, OLIVER, insisted that I take advantage of their 0% financing for the month of April with the Mazda 3 (I went in on March 31st, the last day of the deal). With this being my very first car purchase, I wanted to do better. The Mazda 3 is a very nice sporty sedan, but I was more interested in a later model. I asked Oliver to show me the Mazda 6, and without hesitation, took me to the next lot to view my other potential choices. Before I knew it, I was driving off the lot with my brand new 2010 Mazda MX6. Most people can get skeptical towards a car sales-man and their sales intentions, but Oliver's assistance was more than perfect, and made me feel comfortable. Buying your first car is a scary obligation, but I have never felt more secure about making such a huge purchase.Okay, I'm done rambling. But seriously folks, Oliver is the go-to-man!

I am not going back to this dealership again. I was in the market to get a Mazda3. I came to this dealership because I knew they were one of the biggest in the country. One of the reasons I decided to no longer pursue the Mazda3 is my experience with this dealership.First off, when I contacted their supposed "Internet Department" and scheduled a time to look at their available inventory, I found out a couple of things: (1) Their "Internet Department" is nothing more than a scheduling department. The inquiries get redirected to their regular salespersons; and (2) the "Internet Department" rep told me the car I wanted with the color and options I want is in stock, but it was, in fact, not in stock (unless it sold in the hour it took to get ready and head over there). The color I wanted was not available, but the sales rep tried to push a different color on me, and also tried to push a different body style on me. I agreed to consider it when he said he "could give me a really great deal, since it's not the color you want." Not only did he try to rip me off, he would not let me leave his office until I said yes. He also kept going on & on about how the car sells itself, and yet he wouldn't let me leave. Everytime I got up, he would say something about consulting with his manager. Finally, when I politely declined his final offer, he got mad at ME and basically told me to take a walk and that I would not find this same "deal" again. Heck, I would have been happy to pay a little more than the pricepoint I had in mind, if I had a really good experience and was being treated like an adult -- but I never felt this sales guy warranted that kind of respect.

I returned and leased a Mazda on the same day. I had to wait half an hour for the appropriate person to handle my return because no one could find him. In the meantime, I was passed off from an experienced sales person to a brand new sales person (literally). From there, it took me FOUR HOURS to lease an new vehicle! I have leased several times before and have never had this type of transaction take so long - one hour to one and one half hours max. My sales person was extremely nice-just inexperienced. When I asked him financing questions, he looked like a deer caught in the headlights!<br><br>The finance manager was able to finish up with me at the end of the neverending experience, but only after I had to wait 45 minutes to get some of his precious time (and I was the one giving Galpin my money!) Before concluding the transaction, the finance manager attempted to sell me an extended warranty and lo-jack, among other things. The Lo-Jack attempt really sticks with me, as the finance manager relayed what I believe is a false story of of his horrific carjacking experience in order to manipulate me into purchasing the product. I left that dealership feeling absolutely slimed.

Recently took my Mazda into Galpin Mazda for an oil change and requested they look into a few items. The service writer was very friendly and they had a nice facility with free coffee and pastries.<br><br>The inside rear view mirror was loose. The dome light didn't work and chrome strip on the LR door was loose.<br><br>After two hours, I was told that the mirror was not repairable and a new one would cost $110. The loose chrome strip would cost $380 to replace and the dome light would cost $15, if it was just a burned out bulb. I told them to fix the dome light only. <br><br>Oh, they also said that my two rear shocks were bad and needed to be replaced for $620. I asked if they meant the two front shocks, because those were the ones they said were bad and needed to be replaced during my last oil change. They said no, it was definitely the two rear shocks. I said no thanks.<br><br>When I got the car home I decided to take the rear view mirror off myself to look at it. Lo and Behold, after the removal, a mounting bracket was revealed that had two loose phillip head screws. I tightened them and reinstalled the mirror. This took me all of 5 minutes. I also cemented the door trim back on myself with a $3.99 tube of trim adhesive from Pep Boys.<br><br>Never again Galpin Mazda service.<br><br>
