I came in having just found out that day that insurance was totaling my truck. I had no choice but to get a car because my rental policy expired in 2 days. I really thought I wouldn't be able to be financed because nothing had been settled yet with my previous vehicle. We explained the whole situation to Shannon Roy. He was a god send in getting me placed in a car, and not even the one I thought I would have to get. He got me in an even Better 2016 Chevy Malibu Premier. Him and Mike were awesome. I just recently purchased a 2016 Chevy Traverse and I have to say the finance guys and sales managers did everything they could possibly do to put me in a car I love for the price I could afford. I recently was in an accident where a driver ran their light and smashed in the front of my new car. Even though insurance was covering everything, I just knew for sure it was still going to be a pain to have to deal with repairs and rental cars. I was so wrong. Steve Hodges in the body shop portion of the Garber Auto Mall was such a pleasure to deal with. Very friendly and understanding with my situation. Immediately got my car into the shop and started repairs. He made sure I always knew what was going on with my car and a time frame I could expect to get it back. While in Florida on vacation I had problems with my HHR. So far from home and worried about the expense I brought my car to Garber. Went to the dealership to buy a new dodge truck agreed on a price, they signed a commitment agreement on a price for a truck and I asked them to hold until the 19th and they said that was not a problem went back and test drove a truck of like model agreed that is what we wanted, again, asked them if they needed a deposit the said no they asked us to pick 3 colors and they would find a truck. The call back and said they could not find a truck like the one we were looking for. They didnt even offer other options like splitting the cost of additional equipment or anything they just said they could not find the truckthe endthis experience tells me this is a dealer that cannot be trusted

Shannon was a extremely helpful, patient and as nice as any person could be. He walked me through all the interior options and gadgets. He even took my phone call on his day off to answer my additional questions.He helped me to order additional options including side step rails, sprayed in bed liner, additional key and toolbox. I couldn't have been more happy and had a better experience until the last 30 minutes of the day when they brought me my truck after installing the toolbox and I found the "technician" had installed with the bolts upside down and sticking up so that you would have cut yourself and been unable to use the two side tray. The Service Manager corrected the situation immediately and extremely apologetic about the poor installation.Overall I am extremely happy and excited to own my truck from Garber Chevy Mall.

I'm in the market for a jeep grand cherokee & contacted Michelle at garber & over a couple weeks of communication I scheduled an appointment to come look at a specific vehicle. I told Michelle prior to coming that I'd have to trade my car on and had been offered 9k from a dealer & 11 from private party for my 2006 pontiac gto with 10300 miles (kelly blue book around 11-12k) and that I would need more in order to be able to get the new vehicle. I was also told I would receive a gas card if I drove out there and couldn't come to an agreement within a reasonable offer since it was a 50 min. Drive one way for me. I get out to the dealership & I don't even get to meet with the Manger like I was told instead "moose" attempted to help me. I told him what vehicle I was interested in and he pulled it up and pushed over a hard copy of the vehicle with a price of 42,00 while the online price was 40,000. Immediately this thru up a red flag & after confrnoting them with the internet ad he proceeded to take my phone to the back to show the manager and after deliberation they admitted they made a miatake. Crazy they don't know the price of there own vehicles to me or they are trying to over charge, but anyways I told them what I was looking to spend & we got to the trade in & he entered my info. Into the computer & told me after he talked to the manager they would give me 5-6k for my car which is a complete rip off since I have a brand new clutch & components in the vehicle as well as an Ls2 motor. Anyone who knows about cars know this is a rip off. The kelly blue book value is from around 9-11k for trade in value. I was told they would buy it for the price they could sell it at the auction. I immediately was outraged & told them I wasn't interested in doing business there & asked for my gas card since I offered 37k for the vehicle & they tried to not give me any gas card but I told them I'd jist leave a review to let everyone know about my experience which they then decided they would put some gas in my car with a can from the lot; when I told them my car required fuel grade of 91 or above he told me "well all have is 87 I can put that in there". It's a well known fact my engine requires premium gas. Worst car experience ever! Tried to contact Michelle to let her know about my experience after visiting there,left several voicemails & they haven't returned my call! If you think this sounds enjoyable then shop at garber! I purchased a Chevy Trax from Luis Mata at Garber Auto Mall. He was the second of many salesmen that I spoke with and in all honesty, the only one that didn't try to push me into purchasing a car. He showed me what he had, went over all of the features with me, and when I told him I liked it, but I really wanted to look at both a Mazda and Kia before making a decision he told to go ahead and go look at them, but I was wasting my time and I would be back....and he was right. Although I liked both the Mazda and Kia, it was really about having someone sit down and talk with me, go over figures, interest rates, loan options, etc. For me, the main reason I purchased my Chevy Trax over the other two vehicles I liked was Luis Mata and he was really easy to talk to and work with. Had it not been for Luis and the "other guy" at Kia being kind of a jerk, I don't know that I would have purchased a Chevy, but I'm glad I did.

Actually, we didn't go there to buy a car, but Zach made us a great deal on a vehicle which was one of the models we were considering to purchase in a few months. While waiting for our GMC truck service to be completed, my wife and I strolled through the used car lot to look at a few models we were interested in for our "future" purchase. Zach immediately greeted us and offered to assist with any questions we might have. He stated that the 2012 Ford Edge SEL we were standing next to was being offered at substantial discount off the sticker price, which ended up being about half the MSRP of a new one similarly equipped. After a test drive and a thorough inspection we were very interested in buying the vehicle, so Zach introduced us to Michael Marcolini who quickly finalized the financial transaction. Michael also helped us get a four year bumper-to-bumper warranty on the used vehicle. The entire process was smooth and professional. Zach also took good care of us after the sale by detailing the car, and having some minor repairs taken care of. There were a few repair items that needed to be addressed that we discussed before the sale was finalized. Took 2015 Chevy for a test drive, it never shut off once. I purchased the car got it home my husband and I took it out that night so he could ride in it, everytime we stopped it shut off. I called the dealership they said bring it in Monday, they didn't say a thing about the start/stop system. When I brought it in Monday then they told me. I told them I didn't want the car, they told me sorry your stuck with it. This car skips while your driving it, the transmission is clunky and you never know when it is going to shut off , sometimes it's everytime you stop, sometimes not, and it's not good on gas.When I took it in for service they tell .me it's all normal. It's JUNK!!!!!!!!! Also i called GM, there answer was"we can't help you but we will make sure the dealerships start telling people about the start/stop system. They don't tell you because they know you won't want it and they know how to set it where it won't shut off while you test drive it. My salesman's name was Chris who would not even talk to me when I brought the car back because he knew he had duped me into this piece of junk. GM should be sued.

I called on on used truck that they said that they sold last night, not sure they ever really had the truck because their search engine wouldn't recognize the stock number. Then I found a new 2015 that I was interested in and was told by their sales representative that they were the cheapest in the area and that they sold new trucks $500.00 over invoice, so I decided to take the 1/2 hour ride over from St Augustine to take a look. After I test drove the truck they appraised my trade in for $2,000 less then two other dealers and $3,000 less then another. I guess its real easy to sell the cheapest in town when you low ball the trade in. I'm just upset they wasted three hours of my time for something I could have done in St Augustine, beware!I need to make it clear that Danny Rouse was a professional that treated me very well and that I understand that he does not have the authority to set trade in values.

All of these people were beyond exceptional. Michelle called and I told her my unique situation and I didn't think they could help me. She politely let me end the call. I then received another call from her stating she talked to one of the managers there and that they have help lots of people and would like the opportunity to try and help me. So I filled out an application and she called me back stating things looked good. I spoke to Frank and told him I don't want to go down there for hours and end up with nothing. He said he felt really good about my situation. I went down there and was given Carlos as my rep. There was no trying to sell me cars or any of that. Carlos immediately started on what I had spoke with frank about. Getting all the paper work together to take the Finance. While we waited they constantly made sure I was comfortable if I needed anything. I'm sure if I asked for a better chair they would have taken a chair from an office to give to me. This is the only dealership that actually listens to what you are searching for and takes you to what you want and listens to what you like and dislike about a vehicle and then gives suggestions based on that. Instead of trying to force you to certain cars.

I needed to have my car serviced and had both of my kids with me. I was told at the dealership that it would only take maybe an hour to fix the issue. After about two hours of waiting I was told that it might take all day. Chris offered to give me a loaner car to use. If it wasn't for him I would've had no way of getting home that day. After 3 dealers in Orange Park and Jacksonville refused to meet my needs in the car I wanted at my price. Robert and management took everything I ask for and found my car in Georgia and made a deal to exchange one of their inventory for my car and then sent a driver to drive my car back to Garber Auto Mall. After they called around searching for my car it only took less than 30 minutes for then to get my car. I received top dollar for my trade along with a GMC $5000 discount, making the deal one I could afford payments. I have been to Garber several times, each time I think it was because of frustration. Both times I spoke with Joe Riley and was able to come away with the answers I needed. It was great to talk with a sales person that has the knowledge, so that when you buy or walk away you will know exactly what to do when you come back. Which I did with a bad attitude with Jeep. I now drive a new 2016 GMC SUV, unfortunately I gave up a fairly new car but with the experience that was brought to the deal I bought a my GMC.

I have always taken my vehicles to Garber for service and when I decided to purchase a new vehicle I wanted to give them a chance to earn my business. Without exception this was the best buying experience I have ever had. I dealt with both the sales manager (Gary) and the sales professional (Harris). It was a smooth negotiation and I did not feel pressured in any way. This was the third dealer I had been to and I visited the other two to get a good estimate of a fair price. They clearly beat the other dealers and there was only 1 counter offer from me. Even though the vehicle was not on their lot they were able to get one within 4 days which worked out perfect for me. On June 24, 2015, brought my truck in to have air bags replaced per Dodge Recall. On September 24, 2015, I call back and was told it could take up to 9 months to get air bags. I suspect they had not been ordered. It is now January 5, 2016, and Garber Auto Mall has not called me, and the air bags still have not arrived. I called Orange Park Dodge and made an appoint for 3 days later, I was in the waiting room less than one hour and had new air bags. I know where to go for service in the future. NOT Garber Auto Mall.

Contacted Garber via an independent site, looking for a Camaro ZL-1. Samantha Mathers and Chris Nason were back in touch about a vehicle within an hour and a half. Made the trip from Gainesville to Green Cove Springs not quite sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience. Chris met us upon arrival and settled us in for the necessary paperwork. We were out the door within 3 hours, most of which was spent chatting with the great staff. From Chris to John Butt to Mike in Finance, everyone was friendly, helpful, and never once pushy. They even had the new license plate and registration on hand! Chris went over the details of operating all the technology, etc. in the car, mounted the plate, and we were on our way. I stopped in to get an estimate on a window regulator on my 2004 F150 truck for the passenger side since the cable broke and window would not roll up or down. The estimate was $ 445.00 plus tax - what a rip off. Another dealer (the best rated in the area (St Augustine) came in at $ 321.00 and a local repair shop estimated $ 300.00. I was lucky to find someone recommended by a family member and the total cost was $ 225.00. The part cost brand new was $ 119.00 at the local auto part store. I would never take any vehicle to this dealer for any kind of repairs. Be smart and shop around, I saved over $ 100.00 by shopping around.

My wife and I decided to look for a larger SUV as her Subaru Outback was now too small for our family. We originally were looking to buy used since a new Traverse was not in our budget. After searching around autotrader.com and finding several used 2013 and 2014 models in our price range, I decided just for kicks to see what a new one would cost. Turns out with GM's 15% off rebate, a new 2015 was almost the same price as a used 2014. Unfortunately, the one we wanted was about 500+ miles away. Having a trade also makes an out of state deal that much more difficult. I gave Garber a call and asked Patrick if he could get me the same deal. Not only did he get me the same deal, they went and got the SUV for us. We got a fair price on our trade and walked out happy customers. We'll be in the market again in 2 or 3 years, and you can bet we'll be back to Garber.Mike in the Finance department was a class act. He explained all our options in detail and never once pressured us into making a decision.

I contacted the dealership about the purchase of an automobile that they had on their website. The salesman was friendly and eager to help me. An appointment was scheduled at my convenience and the salesman was waiting for me with the vehicle when I arrived. There was no pressure during the negotiations for the vehicle. The finance manager made every attempt to meet my financial terms during the negotiations. I have less than perfect credit so it was not an easy task to get reasonable financing. They were able to get me into the car that I wanted at a price that I can afford. Ptrick Lato is the best car salesman that I have worked with in years.

This is the second vehicle I purchased with Phil. He makes the time to go over everything with you. We had several emails back and forth, and I changed my mind on what vehicle I wanted. He responded back very quickly, and even came out with his used car manager to my house since I had two vehicles I was thinking about trading in, and could not physically bring them to the dealership. Phil is not a salesman, to me he is more of a liaison between the customer and the dealership by helping them along the way to complete their purchase. However, this was no problem as Steve was very friendly, courteous, patient, and accomidating in reviewing different types vehicles that would be a good match. From the time I looked at it the first time to the day I brought it was 5 days shy of a month. I made it clear I was looking. I looked at three other dealers and never once did I feel pressured to return.When I called Mark on a Friday afternoon and ask how things looked for Saturday. He ask what was good for me. I said about 10:30. We showed up at 10:29 an Mark greeted us with keys in hand and a tag, and said lets go for another test drive before we did anything else. We came back and went in to do the deal, Well I had already been to both of my Credit Unions and had two different checks well at that point Mark went and got Mr Gary Andrews and he had some paper work with him. Surprise he got us approved with FOMOCO and we ended up with 0.0% interest on the loan, the extended warranty and the maintenance package. Saved a bunch. He and all the others involved in my purchase were so very helpful and made sure I got what I wanted which wasn't easy as I first wanted a specific ENCORE. They had to locate my selection and have it transferred to their facility, only to have me change my mind once i came to pick it up!! What can I say about this dealership but AWESOMELY WONDERFUL! I purchased a new car from another dealer WOW what a mistake! That dealership has left me hanging about everything! I came to Garber Dodge after a friend recommended them and they did more for me in 2 hours than the dodge dealer in Jacksonville has done for me in 1 month. I tried to get my car in for service at the dealer that I purchased the car from, because I thought I heard something knocking in the motor they said it would be some time in April before they would even look at it. I called Garber Dodge and they said bring it in now and we will check it out for you right away. I got to Garber dodge service department and they had 2 of there best mechanics come outside right away and listen to the car and then get in the car and take a test ride with me to listen too what I thought was a big problem. Then they took the car in and checked everything out, well less than 2 hours later I'm riding home in my new car has happy as I can be. Garber Dodge is getting all my warranty work and any other car purchase's I make. I have no problem coming from Jacksonville, it's worth it with service like that. I want to give a HUGE THANK YOU too James/Service Advisor, all of the guys in the back that worked on my car and to Chris/New Car Sales Associate. Let's face it, most of the time we dread having to buy a car because it is a LONG process. When my husband and I walked onto the Ford lot at Garber Automall, Chuck was there to greet us with a warm smile and a handshake. I loved his "no pressure" approach. At first we thought we wouldn't buy for 3 months, but I never sensed that Chuck was going to give us anything less than A+ service - no matter our time frame. It turned out that we bought a new Ford Fusion Hybrid just a week later and Chuck helped us "hunt down" the exact vehicle and options that we needed. They say curiosity killed the cat, in my case the cat drove off in a new-preowned Cruze. I entered the used car lot just to see what they had and that I could,'t afford. I was in for a bit of a surprise. I have never been one for high pressure salesmen and I can assure you that is one thing Zach Swarthout is not. He just simply asked a few question to determine what would work best for me. He knew his inventory and told me he had something that he thought I might like. I must admit the car is gorgeous red oh and the best part it has a 6 speed manual transmission. Some women don't like manual transmissions but me oh I LOVE them. I just knew there was no way I would get financed (my credit is far from pristine). They worked their magic and I ended up Cruze'n off the lot in my beautiful red 6 speed. All of this took roughly and hour and a half. I give a heartfelt thank you to Zach and the rest of the crew for giving a wonderful experience. I will be singing your praises for a very long time.

Stopped into Garber after stopping at another dealership first. I was looking for a new Eco Diesel Ram 1500. The other dealership took my info and said they would get back to me and look for one. That was truly a waist of gas.So I stopped at Garber, within minutes of stopping I was greeted with a friendly salesman who was not pushy at all. They didn't have what I wanted on the lot in the configuration I wanted, so instead of taking info and calling me later, he sat down at the computer and instantly found 2 trucks, 1 of them exactly what I was looking for. They worked very well with me on my 2 trade in vehicles, offered great rebates and a smooth and quick experience. The car was extremely clean upon delivery. The salesman was very thorough on going over all the options and set up of the vehicle and electronics.If you are looking for a vehicle that you can't find elsewhere, these guys will find it! I purchase a 2013 Dodge Durango, January 2013 from Garber Auto Mall in Green Cove Springs, Florida. The General Sales Manager, not the car salesmans, emailed me an offer, which I accepted. This is part of the offer that was a selling point, or in this case a buying point for me: plus any oilchanges you need. I told Garber Auto Mall General Sales Manager and the car salesman before I purchased the vehicle that I lived in Camden County, Georgia and that I did not want to drive that far for just oil changes. I was informed by the General Sales Manager and the car salesman that I would not have to return to Garber Auto Mall and that I could use another location closer to where I live to get the oil changes. I asked the General Sales Manager and the car salesman how another location would know about the agreement we made. The General Sales Manager and the car salesman stated that the information would be put into a computer system and when the other location look up my vehicle VIN number the information would be there. THAT WAS A LIE!!!Recently, I called and spoke to the General Sales Manager to inquire about the oil changes. I was later emailed by Garber Auto Mall General Sales Manager I will honor the extra 4 oilchanges, even if they are done somewhere else, just send me the receipts. I refused. Then later Garber Auto Mall General Sales Manager emailed me after a few more email exchanges I ( Garber Automall) will provide you with an Oilchange package for 10 free oilchanges at any Chrysler locations in the US........that is all we will honor in our agreement. Again I refused. And recently Garber Auto Mall General Sales Manager sent this message to me thru the Better Business Bureau Garber Automall Chrysler will honor oil changes as needed at our location in Green Cove Springs or give the 10 we already mentioned at any Chyrsler dealership. Again I refused. None of these options was part of the original agreement. This inconsistency and constant changing of the agreement by Garber Auto Mall gives me great concern. My thoughts are, if this is happening to me, how many others has this happened to or is currently happening to. BUYERS BEWAREGarber Auto Mall OVER PROMISE and UNDER DELIVER!!!

It was a VERY hot Saturday in August but that did not stop Robbie from walking on the lot with us until we were satisfied. That include 2 test drives which one of those needed a battery jump. I just recently bought a Wrangler from Garber AutoMall and had a great experience. The first day I visited, I got there about 10 minutes before they closed (on a Friday) because I had just got off work. Robbie ended up staying an hour late, answering my questions and showing my wife and I the different Wranglers they had. It was evident from the beginning that he cared about helping us find the car that suited our wants and needs instead of pushing a sale on us. It was pretty obvious that this was my wife and I's first car buying experience together, and I didn't feel taken advantage off at all. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and I didn't feel pressured at any time to purchase a car from them. I would highly recommend Garber.

He answered our questions regarding the vehicle of our choice and tailored the purchase of my mustang to my specifications! The day we purchased the car, we were in and out within an hour. My former truck was on it's way out of commission or needing expensive repair. To clarify, my former truck was an F-150 with 175,000 miles. It had been had been an excellent vehicle. I considered 2 trucks this time, F-150 or a RAM. I actually went to a RAM dealer 1st, but price comparison and non attentive salesman sent me elsewhere. Luis Mata greeted me almost immediately when I did a walk through of trucks. I told him what I wanted and he went to work. I actually got more truck than what I thought I would for my budget. The finance manger didn't attempt to force a bunch of B.S. add ons. The sales manger got more money for my trade after I expressed disappointment with original offer. The whole ordeal did not take all day as most of my auto buying experiences have. My payments were a little more than the idea I went in with, but as I said a lot more truck than my original idea. I left completely satisfied with my new F-150 Super Crew Cab. Do yourself a favor and go see these guys if looking for a new vehicle.

When I arrived at the dealership I still wasn't sure if I wanted a Car or a Suv. Marty came out and introduced himself. I gave him an idea of what I wanted in both the Car & SUV. Well as it turned out I truly was leaning more for a Car. We looked at all the used Cars in the price, year, & mileage range that I was interested in. A couple were not Fords, but after eliminating those I was not interested in, Marty showed me the Ford Fussion. I drove it, loved the interior, good gas mileage, low mileage & great color. I did a comparison of the new verses the used and still went with the used. It felt more comfortable to me. I never felt any pressure from Marty to buy anything, It took me two days to decide, but I went back and bought the 2013 Ford Fussion and I couldn't be happier. I haven't bought a car in 15 years, I was driving a 1998 Buick Regal with 198,000 miles which has been a great car. l

I needed a truck to replace my 1997 F150. I have a camper that just can be pulled by the F150. The hemi truck seemed like what I needed. I had a 2007 Toyota Tundra that started giving ne problems, I took it to the repair shop to find out what the problem was and the gentlemen gave me a 3500 repair price along with having to get a rental for the week it was going to be in the shop. I said the xxxx with that and started searching on the internet. I received a call from Al that afternoon about my website inquiry and told him I was looking for a truck. The wife and I drove out that afternoon met with Al; went out on the used vehicle lot. Al was extremely helpful and we had the poor guy running back and forth for keys Long story short I ended up purchasing a 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 1487 miles. This was used? He explained that the gentlemen that bought the truck brought it back for a bigger truck. Needless to say after driving it down the road it was a done deal. The Manager was very fair on the trade for my old truck. Al is a very personable, friendly and helpful guy and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a vehicle. I would say start to finish after agreeing on the price the whole process took about 2 hours and that is including the other trucks i test drove. When it comes time to replace the wifes Hyundai we will be back. i hope the service department is as great as the rest of the folks out there. Thank you again Al!

I first met with Troy Cavas and when I returned for my wife to test drive vehicles, Troy was busy with another customer and turned us over to Chris Nason. He listed to my wife's description of the type of SUV she wanted and she ended up test driving a Jeep Cherokee, Ford Escape, Chevrolet Equinox and Buick Encore. All in the same evening! My wife honed in on the Encore, but wanted it in red. Chris followed up the next day with 3 Red 2013 Encores (with invoice prices) that he had located at nearby dealerships. He subsequently emailed me to let me know he had a Red Encore on the lot. We scheduled a test drive for the next Saturday. By 6:00 pm I drove out with a new 2014 red Encore and I received financing lower than my pre-approved bank rate!

Customer services were very good in providing either items that were requested and/or ordered and installed. Quality of work regarding vehicle is great due to several features on vehicle. Trading a 2003 vehicle, we were greatly behind the latest technology and are learning the new features with the new vehicle. Friendliness - all personnel which we came in contact were very friendly and willing to help with questions and not being the "pushy salesmen". Overall experience was very pleasant in that we did not feel pushed into the deal right down to the fact our trade-in vehicle did not disappear as soon as we started to negotiate. Here's a few reasons: After doing extensive online and media research , I had my search for a new car narrowed down to two dealerships. I had, the night before, talked to a sales consultant at both dealerships and explained my plan for the next morning. Both consultants were very convincing however Mr. Cavas was available at the time I needed and gave me the most re-assurance that he could get the car I needed.I had actually planned to visit both car dealerships regardless. Because Mr. Cavas did a thorough job of explaining all the details of the cross over vechicles and took the time to allow me to drive several, with different features, I decided that it was not necessary to go anywhere else.Because of Mr. Cavas's professional manner, courtesy, and determination to find the model I needed, quickly, the deal was done. This is my second vehicle purchased from Garber Ford. They take all the hassle out of buying a car. Emily Harris went above my expectations for my wife and myself. There was no pressure to buy and no heavy sales pitch's involved. It was like we were welcomed as family. The price we paid was very fair and Ms. Harris took particular note of our needs and took care of them. I have severe mobility problems. Hello, My names Anthony Whitlow, I chose Garber Automall, because they have all the car dealerships in one at one location. The next day I see the Garber Automall, tv. commercial with Ron Harris, and all the sales team, parts team, and rest of the staff. Well I really needed a vehicle because I was getting tired of having to share a vehicle with my family. So my mother and I when't to the Garber Automall, in green cove springs, a young cute blond girl comes outside and asked me was I looking to buy a vehicle, I told her I was just looking around and would like some info. on a few different vehicle. she then tells me her name (Emily Harris) and that she works in the Sales Team. She go's and get's a few different keys for me so that I could see the vehicles, in the lot. After looking at a few different cars / trucks we go inside to talk business on me buying a vehicle from Garber Automall, well I didn't have much credit, because of school lone's, so Emily, gives me one of her business cards and tells me to come back in a few days. So I shake hands with Emily, and then we departed ways. The next day I get a call from 904-264-2442 asking for a Anthony Whitlow, I said this is me, The girl on the phone said Hello, Anthony, this is Emily, from Garber Automall, would you be able to come back in sometime today. I said yeah, so she said I got you approved in a "Brand New" 2013 Chrysler 200 LX Black on Black, with Bluetooth, touch free raido, and ect. I told her that I would come up after I had got done with a police meeting, at the Orange Park Town Hall, she said ok, that's perfect I've got to run over to the other building anyway and get the car ready for you. I said ok. then said Thank you, and see you in about a hafe hour - hour. So the time came and my meeting was over, My mother and I when't up to Garber Automall, to pick-up my new Chrysler 200, LX Black on Black, with all the nice / great fetches in the car... I get to the Garber Automall, and me and Emily, meet again she shows me the car, and I really like it. Its a great looking and very clean ride. So Emily, Me and my mother, go in to the building to just finish up the paperwork on the car she gives me my first set of keys then a few minute later the second set, I then go over to the other building and talk with her brother Ron T. Harris III, on the last few papers, when I was all done and ready to go I thanked everyone and even gave that beautiful blond headed girl Emily, a big Hug, and thanked her once again. Then when't on my way. I came back the next day to hand out thank you letters to everyone that helped me get this awesome looking car. The truck we were looking for they didn't have on the lot but they found what we were looking for and had the truck brought in for us, it was there the next day. This was my 3rd time buying a car and it was the most pleasant. I used to think buying a car took forever and a day but not at Garber. You find the car and its a done deal, of course you still have to sign papers but its not an all day process. Now choosing a car might take all day with there wide selection and many options to choose from. No pushy salesman or super high price. The price of the car is exactly the price you'll pay. I always do my research and bargain shop. At Garber you will almost always come out cheaper. I think its because the it has no other dealership next door for competition so they're able to keep there honest prices. Yes its a ways away but its worth the drive. I live in Orlando, Fl and I would still drive 2 hours plus to buy a car from this dealership simply because of the hospitality and the price of the vehicles.

He was an exceptionally good listener and responded to everything we desired. He didn't try to force on us what he thought we ought to have. He took plenty of time on both occasions we saw him, even staying quite late, without making us feel that we were hurting him. He spent plenty of time making sure we understood all we should know about the vehicle. Before that, he did the best he could at giving us what we wanted and still satisfying our financial requirements. He was not pushy in any way. He was a top salesman without making us feel that we'd been sold. We're thinking about changing our 30-day return date because we realize it is scheduled on a Wednesday and that is his day off. It'd be nice to see him again.

We bought a 2012 GMC Yukon XL from Garber Auto Mall and asked MULTIPLE TIMES to verify that the vehicle had XM radio installed. We explained to the salesman and the Sales Manager that we used our previous Yukon and would use this one for long distance trips and wanted to make sure we could continue listening to Satellite radio. We were assured that it was installed and all we had to do was contact Sirius/XM and have it activated. We called XM and found they had no record of this vehicle in their system as having XM. I contacted the salesman and he said to bring it into service and they could "fix" it. I brought it into the service department who verified that this particular unit had been built without the wiring for XM and it would require a "kit" that was made for 2010 models and would work for our vehicle and that he would get back to me within a week when they located a kit. Well it's been 6 months since we bought the vehicle and almost two months since I was told the service writer would get back to me. Garber sold us this vehicle by lying about the radio, the service department lied about getting back to me and I have a vehicle I would never have purchased had the salesman done what he should have and verified in the build, which I found out at the service department he could have looked up in 5 minutes. I have previously used Garber for over 10 years, but the fact that I was lied to over and over and no one seems to have any desire to make it right I find as a disturbing trend and now I doubt that I would even get my oil changed there. I will not buy another vehicle from them.

Ron Harris, Phil Lagrand and the crew at Garber AutoMall make buying a new car about as easy as it can get. My wife wanted a Charger R/T with a particular group of options and colors but we were having trouble finding one through the online search. It turned out that the car she wanted wasn't available anywhere. Phil Lagrand then worked with the people at Dodge to order the car and have it built especially for my wife. (Even says so on the window sticker!) The car came in on-time and on-budget. Phil even worked to have the windows tinted before we picked the car up to save us time. They took time to introduce us to other dealership personnel and walked my wife through virtually every feature of the car. The radio ads are right .... it's worth the short drive to Green Cove Springs to do business at Garber.

I am retired military and a member of USAA. Using the purchasing feature USAA provides for new vehicles I designed the truck of my dreams and received a more than fair price quote. Garber auto mall was one of two dealerships that honored USAA's price quote. I would add that the price quote for a 2012 truck was cheaper than the used 2011s and 2010s that were set up with the same options. I went to Garber told them what I wanted and that I was a USAA member with their price quote. Garber found the exact vehicle I wanted at the price I was quoted and in two days time I drove away with my dream truck. No hassle, no pressure and no BS. Later I went into their service dept for the first oil change and the experience was identical. Timely courteous, hassle free service. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

This is the third car I bought at Garber. Two new Chrysler Town and Country vehicles and one used Ford Mustang. I have enjoyed all of the salesmen I dealt with and the service at both the Ford and Chrysler dealers has been excellent. I got a very good deal on the minivan I bought last month. What I have found is that the salesmen are not pushy, which makes the experience much more to my liking. The service folks are friendly and accommodating as much as possible. So far I have never felt like they were trying to get me to buy replacement parts that I did not need. So, I'll probably be using the customer waiting room waiting for oil changes and tire rotations and eating their popcorn and watching their TV. Strongly recommend these folks in Green Cove Springs.

Service department goes beyond what is expected. Sometimes I stop by because the engine light went on, or my front wheels seem to be shimmying, these kinds of sudden issues for which I DO NOT make an appointment. My concerns are immediately addressed. Of course when I had to install new front rotors, I made an appointment. Scott nelson in service greets me as a long time friend. I genuinely like the man. Eddie, also in service, is most friendly. Chris, a mechanic, takes care of my car as if it were his own. I am very lucky to have this dealership so close to my home. (Fleming Island).

The finance manager was instrumental in getting me the lowest finance rate for the loan for the car. Over all the shopping experience was pleasant and I am pleased with the vehicle.

We needed a new or slightly used vehicle 3 years ago to use on a cross country vacation trip. We ended up in a like new, slightly used 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe LT with 36,000 miles on it. The deal was great with a huge discount since we paid cash. My wife and I usually always use the dealer for service. We purchased the extended warranty on this Tahoe so using Garber was a no brainer. I would not ever use anyone else in our area for GM service on our vehicle. I have known many at Garber including the General Manager for 17+ years. We initially emailed questions to the Ford dealership, and Mark Montgomery responded. I was overseas, so our emails continued for a while, with no pushiness from Mark at all. We priced other Jacksonville area dealerships, but chose Garber due to price and the customer service Mark provided. Second new vehicle that I have purchased at Garber Chevy. Got a good deal on both and a fair trade. Sales people are not overbearing and pressuring like most other dealers which is why I go there. Service department very friendly! Only suggestion is, the setup is confusing, many times do not know who is next or where to wait in line. Very easy access into and out of entire dealership!, Rental Car service onsite and courteous shuttle also available. Last item is the web site does not allow to print coupons for or list what type of parts specials. Have never been asked if I can be helped the 10 times I have walked into parts department. Still trying to get 20" rims for truck the last two years or some takeoffs.

Very shady dealersip. Beware!!!! They know how to lie and cheat and when caught they lie somemore! Quoted a price and once paper was completed, it was discover the salesman changed the sticker price higher and the financing person also changed "the bottom" and felt it was ok. Garber auto mall was not willing to stand behind their word just tried to lied about how or why the figures were changed.

Emily Harris was my salesperson. I was pleasantly surprised that she lacked the expected shark-like predatory tactics most car salespeople use. She was friendly, informed, and professional. The finance guy was Ronnie, another person who exceeded my expectations. He handled the paperwork quickly and was upfront about the deal. At our arrival at the dealership we were immediately greeted and introduced to Mark Montgemory and he asked what we were interested in looking at and immediately took us to the area that had the vehicles that we were interested in looking into. He showed us in detail all the extras the vehicle was equipped with and raised the hood to explain the powerplant, fuse box, and maintenance schedules. He showed us where the jack was carried and how the instrument panel worked. No high pressure salesperson. He listened to what we were looking for and showed us what the dealership had to offer. I went in to look at two specific cars. D. Matthews was most accommodating in showing the vehicles requested and allowing me to drive them. He then suggested that we list the pros and cons and compare each vehicle against the items that were on my "must have" list. As we proceeded with the pro and con list, he asked if he could show me one more vehicle. He sensed that it might be more compatible with what I was looking for in an automobile. He was absolutely correct. That is the car that I ended up buying.

This was our first time buying a new car, and after visiting another Jacksonville dealer that was less than satisfactory, our expectations were not very high. However, we were more than pleasantly surprised to find that Mr. Lee was knowledgable, relaxed, and friendly. We never once felt pressured into anything and were treated so kindly. I recently purchased a vehicle from Garber Chevrolet and the primary reason I purchased the car here was based on the excellent customer service I received from Eric Delee and Ralph Lenoci. They were very attentive to every question and concern I had about the vehicle, they never pressured me or made me feel uncomfortable, they were timely in their responses back to me, they were honest and upfront about costs and fees. They were very professional in every aspect of the car buying experience.In searching for this vehcicle I found many vehicles of similar make, model and price throughout the state of Florida. In speaking with various dealerships throughout Florida, none matched the service I received with Eric and Ralph. In the end I narrowed the search to two very similar vehicles - one at Garber and one in south Florida. The service I received at Garber made it an easy decision where to purchase my vehicle. I am very satisfied with my experience at Garber and would highly recommend anyone looking for a car to start here.

Following the involvement of the Dealership GM, I've overhauled my review. Other than being advised by my sales person to buy a worthless (to this point) extended warranty, my experience had been good up until three months ago. The service staff is always friendly and the repair pricing seems fair. Three months ago some things started happening that made me question whether I had been duped all these years. However, following a call from the GM, actions were taken to try and show me that my initial thoughts were correct about this dealership. Scott called me back and really went the extra mile to apologize for how things had gone and took steps to show me that my business was important to them. Yes, he could have been faking it but, if he was, he was effective. He seemed sincere. I try not to be someone that over reacts to one incident. As I said, it was a cumunation of factors that forced me to rethink my previously "great" rating before downgrading it. If things continue from this point on as they were before the crap hit the fan, then I'm sure my rating will eventually creep back up to "great" from the now "good" rating. But, I want to give it some time to see for sure. However, i am still upset about the $1,900 warranty I purchased. I do not think the sales person's advice was reliable but I guess there is nothing that can be done now even though we have voiced our dissatisfaction since we had a first uncovered repair four years ago. Again, if you are going to buy an extended warranty from dodge, either buy the broadest one or save your money and handle the repairs yourself.

Chrysler Jeep Parts Manager Chuck Hopkins is without a doubt the rudest and most hostile and unfriendly person I have ever come across at a business. Went to the parts department to purchase two parts for my daughters Jeep (I am a lifelong Jeep owner) and was greeted by Hopkins who did not say hello as you would anyone, but said "what do you want"! When I told him the part I was there for he became rude and aggravated stating he never heard on the part and did not know what I was talking about. He continued to be verbally rude and hostile as I attempted to provide him with the TSB number and explain the reason for the part, which is a patch cable for intermittently working gauge cluster (a nationally known issue with my daughters year Jeep, thus the reason for the TSB bulletin and part). He stated he had been with Jeep since 1991 and never heard of any issue like what I was stating. After several minutes of apparently wasting his time he found the part and issue that he first stated did not exist. You would think at this point he would at a minimum apologize, but no. I advised him I need another part, once again he huffed and puffed and said "then tell what it is". I advised him of the part I was looking for and attempted to explain where it was located and he actually threw his hands up, shook his head and looked at me like I was an idiot wasting his time. I remained calm, asked him to order the first part. I said thank you for your help and he turned his back. The fact that this is the kind of person that Garber puts into a management position is concerning, especially since the parts and service department is the backbone of any dealership. I will not purchase my next Jeep, which I had planned to do or parts at this dealership due to this.

It was very difficult for me to travel to physically see cars during my selection process, however Garber Automall made me feel very comfortable about the vehicle I was interested in, and answered all of my questions over the phone in a way that allowed me to feel at ease with my decision to purchase the vehicle. Then, Garber Automall drove the vehicle to me for the final inspection and purchase. The car, which was 5 years old, was exactly as described and in perfect condition. I couldn't be more happy with the car and the service I received. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

My great thanks to Ralph and Eric for helping make my first real car-buying experience painless and fun. I live in Tallahassee but heard about Garber Auto Mall through family friends. They came highly recommended. Ralph and Eric helped me zero in on what I wanted, held a wonderful Equinox for me while I dithered and debated, and then, once I'd made up my mind, drove the beautiful car the three hours to me in Tallahassee. I barely had to lift a finger, they handled everything. The price was more than fair and there was no haggling. At every step I felt like they were listening to and looking out for me. When a paperwork snafu cropped up, they quickly got everything resolved and eased my mind with prompt, helpful, and cheerful responses to my never-ending questions. I can't recommend them enough.

These morrons lured me in to a truck that they could not get me financed for. They took my trade in, sold it and within the 45 days of the not being able to finance me,,,,took the truck back. I called the Clay County Sheriff's on them for yelling at me, threatening me and trying to hold me on thier premisis illegally when I wanted to leave. They are a bunch of unethical, immoral thugs. I have no vehicle and am out $1200 down payment. The main finance manager (who drives a brand new mercedes)who could care less of my plight, "Oh Well". I had purchased cars fromthis dealer before with no issues. Tracy Smith was my sales person this time and he tried to rip me off royaly. He was a fast talker and liar. He should stop boasting about his military past! He displays no honor. GArber use to be a great dealership and once they grew the small town sale guy turned into a wolf out to slaughter the customer...What customer puts 10,000 dollars down with a car note at 572.00 for 72 months....for a car priced at 25,000.00? I guess 1+1 isnt 2 in thier minds.
