My experience was like a kid at Christmas. From beginning to the time I left. Michelle was so helpful making sure things were perfect and they offer an extended warranty, which she totally explained. I have been to two other dealerships before here and I’m glad my other deals fell through because Sam made my buying experience so pleasant! I will start recommending Gary’s auto sales to anyone I know looking for a car. Sam was so kind and made sure I knew what i was signing and didn’t try to push me into anything I didn’t want. My family had such an awesome experience with Thomas at Gary’s today. I started speaking with Thomas via FB msgr several days before driving 2+ hours to see the car. Working with him was like talking with a friend. He was attentive to my son, that was a typical 7 year old asking a million questions. He was the opposite of any car salesman I’ve had experience with … he didn’t push me to buy a car, because he didn’t want me to buy a car that I didn’t feel was right for me. Instead he worked to get me the best deal possible (honestly a deal I didn’t even believe was possible) on a car I loved. My husband and I were so very impressed, and shocked at our experience. While waiting for my bank to finalize the sale, he told us about what God has done for him and his family, and the story about his path to becoming a Christian. He even asked to pray with us before we left. This was by far the best experience we have ever had buying a vehicle … we truly feel God put Thomas and this company in our paths.

I bought a 2015 Chevy Silverado LT 4x4 Crew Cab from these guys. I'll just say that there is a reason they have an A+ as their BBB rating. Just great guys, who want to see you get a deal. There were some things wrong with the truck that I felt like needed to be fixed, and Jason Frye had them all fixed, all included in the price. If you're looking to buy a good used vehicle, these guys will listen to you and come your way to make sure you get what you want and need. Plus, they are just down to earth guys! They want to talk and actually get to know you! They're not looking to get you to go in debt, that's your choice. Try them...they're awesome!

Although we're a short drive from many of the big dealerships that little voice inside side me said, "make that two hour drive to Sneads Ferry." Boy are we glad we did. A small dealership that is big on friendliness which makes one feel at home. No hassles, no games, no bait and switch, no pressure. Thomas, the manager, sit down at the desk, looked at me and asked, "What will it take for me to get your business today." It was a very busy day at Gary's but Thomas and Salesman Sam made our buying experience a very pleasant one. Thank you.

I recently purchased 2 vehicles from Gary's Auto Sales in Sneads Ferry. The staff were very friendly. They were more then helpful to find what we were looking for and not to pressure us into anything. Jason was able to get the price so good on first one that I went back and purchased a second vehicle. They have quality cars and trucks with low miles. And go out of there way to get the payment to what suites you best. All around excellent service. I highly recommend them if your in search of a used vehicle!

Jody the salesman is the reason we returned after shopping to various dealerships in Jacksonville that Saturday. He was patient with all my questions, knowledgeable and thorough during closing the deal (never pushy or in a rush) and it was a couple hours after closing time - on a Saturday night. We had some unforeseen issues with the truck during a ride back to Raleigh the next day and had to call Jody on a Sunday morning. He responded quickly having Gary give us a call pretty close to immediately. Gary made arrangements to care of the issues with the truck immediately and now my dad's driving happily in his truck. Happy Dad, Happy Me. Without hesitation, we would proudly refer these businessmen to our family and friends. Oh~ and we'll be back too! "Thanks Guys" to a happy ending! =) See ya in near future!

I bought a Cummins from Gary's about two months ago. After I bought it, I thought something wasn't right with the pickup. I took it back to them and one of the owners, W.G., got involved immediately to help me out. There is no lemon law in North Carolina for vehicles outside of their manufacturers' warranty, so in reality he didn't have to do anything for me. After diagnosing the truck, they put it in the shop and completely rebuilt the motor for me to make it right. I'm totally happy with the quality of work on the truck, and even happier with how well the situation was handled. A lot of people on here bash Gary's, but I doubt any of those people have been back to Gary's to give them the opportunity to make it right. They did right by me, and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I recently purchased a pickup from Gary's. Through my own stupidity I listened to all of them there saying "yes we run our vehicles through an inspection process before we put them on the lot." A week after purchasing the truck it has completely blown up. They sold a vehicle with a worn out turbo, faulty injectors, and fuel pump.

I did a car search for a Camaro Convertible on cars.com I was sent an inventory alert for one at Gary's Auto. I loved the picture but of course wanted to drive it. I called Gary's and Justin Mitchell answered the phone in Sneads Ferry. He told me the car was at the Jacksonville store but he would go and get it. He did and after MANY conversations I finally caved . Justin never once pressured me just answered my many questions. Great experience!

Getting a car from Gary's (Sneads Ferry) was a great buying experience. I worked with Tom Geohagan throughout the process and he was extremely honest and helpful. If there were any possible issues with a vehicle or recent repairs he was completely upfront about them. I drove off of the lot with a fantastic deal on a great car. If I'm still in the area the next time I need a vehicle I'll be coming back here.

Salesman Mike was willing to work in the boiling heat to let us test each vehicle, and offered no complaints when we asked to see some vehicles at a different dealership for comparison. We left, reviewed some comparable vehicles, and returned to purchase our new to us truck. Big thanks, and would recommend to any other folks looking for an easy going sales process.

I cruised the internet shopping for a used vehicle for about to 2 months before I happened upon Gary's website. After a couple of minutes of browsing their inventory I spotted a nice F-150 I thought would suit me, I was able to make it over to Gary's that afternoon and drive away in a vehicle I know ill be able to rely on for a long long time. I felt they had an unrealistic opinion of what the car I was looking at was worth, I was told it had only been siting for two weeks but it wouldn't start because the battery needed to be charged. The battery shouldn't go dead for simply sitting for only two weeks. It also had a leak in the water pump which I was assured would be replaced, but even after all that I was still going to give them a chance and made an offer and they would barely budge on their asking price. I felt that was very unrealistic, especially when it was an older car and they usually are harder to sell.

My experience with Thomas at Gary's Auto Sales was amazing! From the second my wife and I met him I felt he was not pushy, he was honest, and completely down-to-earth. He let us know about all our options, and gave us a very nice run-down of each option of the different trucks I was considering. On top of this, Thomas has an amazing personality. He is funny, caring, and genuine in his approach. So much so I didn't feel comfortable past a few minutes at other dealerships we had been to, that I quickly returned to Gary's and requested that Thomas help us with purchasing the right Vehicle for our needs. I felt he wasn't going to 'jip' us or 'force' me into anything I didn't want to do, which is more than I can say for other local places I went to. I think the best part about our entire experience was that Thomas was not only genuine, and caring in his demeanor and approach, but he truly went above and beyond our expectations! I have purchased two cars prior to my experience at Gary's, and while I was younger and arguably less experienced at knowing what to ask for in purchasing a car, Thomas treated us with the utmost respect and dignity, and spent extra time answering our 'silly' questions and did NOT ever make us feel inferior or 'dumb'. Our experience at Gary's was amazing. I can honestly say so long as I stay in this area, in the future, you can certainly expect to see me again down the road for when my family needs other vehicles.

I went looking for a 4x4 truck and came across Gary's online at Cars.com. I called and talked to one of the salesmen and they gave me directions how to get there. When I got there, I was amazed at the inventory! There was easily 100+ trucks, plus tons of cars and SUVs to choose from. I drove a couple trucks before I found the one I fell in love with. The negotiating on price was seamless, and they worked hard to get me the best rate from the bank. I am a happy camper, and plan to bring my fiancee out here in a couple months to get her a new car.
