I scheduled an oil change online. I arrived a few minutes early. The guy at the service desk was very nice and said he had my paperwork. He asked for my keys and directed me to the nice waiting room. It took about an hour for them to change my oil and check to see if my tires needed rotating etc. I will definitely use Gateway Ford again for service on my vehicle!

Would not recommend. I went by myself because my husband's work schedule. They did not want to give me the time of day or even let me test drive the vehicle until my husband called them. When I did test drive it, they asked if I could drive it? Or if I could get it out of the parking lot? I don't think they would have asked my husband those questions. My husband asked what's the best price on the vehicle. In texts they gave us the best price they could offer so I went back to try to start the buying process. Which was an hour drive (they knew it was along drive for me) but I figured the price in the text was the solid price for the vehicle. After waiting 2 hours for an appraisal on my trade in, they finally gave me an offer on my trade in. However, they also let me know the actual best price of the vehicle I was buying was significantly more then what they told us through texts, which was the only reason I drove an hour back to the dealership. Just seems like they gave a false price on the vehicle just to get me back into the dealership to trap me into buying which seems dishonest. I understand car salesmen do have certain techniques to sell a vehicle but I got very dishonest and sexist vibes from this dealership.

Great place for service. Booked on line thru Ford. Very easy to do. Dropped vehicle off and shuttle ride to waffle house for breakfast. Vehicle was ready before I was thru. Shuttle ride back and picked up vehicle. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Love the place.

I have great support from the local dealership, Gateway Ford in Pontchatoula, LA. I am very happy with their staff as they go out of their way to provide assistance when servicing my F-150. However, I find it impossible to contact Ford Motor Co. directly if I have a question regarding a subject that the dealer is not responsible. When trying to speak to a Ford factory representative, it is very frustrating to be constantly re-directed to a multiple choice web-based questionnaire or a person who then loops your inquiry back into a web-style line of questions where you are only allowed to respond to pre-selected choices which do not capture your question or concern. For example, what bearing would my postal code have on a question over the reliability a tire pressure sensor/monitor and why should Ford be the only authorized repair choice when flats can happen anywhere, anytime, even when the dealer is closed or not an option?

Gateway Ford is my second family! They treat all of their customers as if they were one of the family. Never a cross word or indication that they are remotely irritated about anything. I have gotten to know all of the front end people and three of the shop guys. They listen and most importantly they stand behind every sale. They won't stop until you are completely satisfied with all aspects of your service from buying to servicing. My Ford Escape has been my favorite car yet and this is out of the box for my family. We've always been Dodge/Chrysler people and my older brother owns a window tinting and auto accessory business. He started buying Ford products and has converted our entire family. We own three Flexs', one Escape, an F250, a F150, and he has a Ford Utility van for his business. We love Gateway so much we have referred countless people who have purchased vehicles from them as well. They need an award for their constant diligents in customer service.

I shopped around for a couple of months and found my 2016 Ford Mustang in Ruby Red Metallic at Gateway Ford!!! I was thrilled with the service I received from Mr. Danny Jones. He was so professional, knowledgeable and patient. He worked with me and spent so much time showing me all the features the Mustang had to offer. I called before to make sure the car was there since I would be driving about 45 minutes to get there and Mr. Danny had it parked right in front for me to see. It was a very pleasant and smooth sale. All the staff at Gateway Ford were very nice and accommodating. They treat you like family. I would and have recommended this dealership to others. It is not like your typical car buying experience. I am so thankful I found Gateway Ford.

Gateway ford is the best place to buy a truck but the service department not so good due to one service righter that does not have any customer relations, and talks about the sales department in front of her customers. I do not think that, that was very professional.

As always everyone was super nice and helpful. Joe is my salesman and I love him for his ability to make an anxious situation calming. He was my salesman a year ago and his disposition didn't change. Martin was also very nice and anxious to make the deal work. No one likes the finance guy but Shane was awesome too. I liked his calm manor. I love the car and am very pleased. I would definitely come back; not real soon though. I have already sent friends and people I don't know to Gateway. You can tell that they are like one big family away from home.

My wife and I drove 2 hours away to look at a Ford Flex at Gateway Ford. From the moment we walked into the place till the time we drove off in our new vehicle, the staff was friendly, understanding, and a pleasure to work with. They helped us get into a vehicle at an affordable monthly note, which we were unsure that we could do. Mr. Danny Jones, our sales associate, respected our decision to sleep on it over night and didn't pressure us. His light-hearted personality was comforting to know that he was human just like us. His experience in the car field helped us to know he was very knowledgeable and good at what he does. Mr. Martin Morgan promptly took care of our credit side and reassured us it was possible. Mr. Shane Breeden was outstanding and handled the financial part of purchasing our much needed family vehicle. We even got a chance to meet his 2 precious children and see how great of a dad he is. All the staff connected with us and we shared personal stories together which made the dreaded process enjoyable and a pleasure to do. Thank you Gate Way Ford from the both of us!

I took my truck (Ford F-150) to Gateway Ford for the special (oil change, tire rotation, etc.). I arrived there at 12:25 p.m. I did not have an appointment, and I knew that my timing was not the best, so I was anticipating a long wait. I asked the service person if she could estimate my wait time. I was pleasantly surprised when she replied "About 40 minutes." I went to the waiting area still thinking that it would probably be longer, but 45 minutes later, she walked in and told me I was ready to go! While I was at the dealership, I decided to stop by the body shop and get an estimate to repair a scratch on my rear fender. Instead of an estimate, the body shop manager took some compound and an applicator and buffed the scratch out on the spot. Needless to say, Gateway Ford and their staff earned my top scores that day.

I left my vehicle for service with instruction that I would be back to get it after hours. The SVC dept was fine with that and executed that well. However, because I returned after hours I did not get an opportunity to speak with the manager or a technician about a leak I had asked they check out. No notes were left on the receipt and service slip as to their findings. No call was made to me to explain what, if anything, they found. My assumption is that they didn't check at all.

I've been buying all of my new Fords (15) from Gateway since 1985 - 30 years. I've used their service for all of these cars and have given very positive reviews/surveys until earlier this year. My wife's car left her stranded (broken down on side of road-she is 66!) several times and Gateway could not find the problem. Wife went on internet & found that a specific part was causing these issues but had not been recalled. She contacted Ford Customer Care & the agreed to charge us only 25% of the repair & the told Gateway to fix her car. When Customet Care called Gateway's Service Mgr (Alan Wozniak) he claimed he did not know her car was in the shop!! He LIED! My wife made the appoinment with HIM, took the car to him, gave him the key & discussed the situation with him personally!!! They also told us that all dealers have a pool of money to make such repairs for "prime" customers. They reviewed our purchase record, 15 new cars in 30 yrs, & said Gateway should have considered us "prime" & made this repair without intervention from Customer Care. Custumer Care then gave us an extended "Used Extra Care" warranty to make up for Gateways unacceptable treatment of us! A couple of months after this repair, my wife smelled "radiator water" inside her car. My son at I found water leaking out onto the ground from the area of the water pump. My wife took the car to Gateway and they did not find any issue! Weeks later my wife took her car back & showed them that her radiator fluid was low (she was adding water every couple of days) & there was no sign of water on the ground. Again Gateway found nothing wrong!! The car is at my house seldom being used. Wozniak told her he did not know if water disappearing into the engine would cause any damage. We have been waiting a couple of months for Wozniak to get a "loaner" so they can try again to find the problem & make a repair. He has told my wife to stop calling him & he will call her. I called Customer Care (Brian) 10/23 & they put me on hold & called Wozniak about this unacceptable situation. Brian came back on phone & said Wozniak promised to have a "loaner" before 10/28. He also said Wozniak admitted that neither of the 2 times our car was in the shop for this problem had been documented. No record of any repair attempt because he decided not to record car being at Gateway. This is now documented by Customer Care! I called Customer Care (Cassandra) 11/16 to say we have not heard from Wozniak & it is 3 weeks past the date he promised a "loaner" (again & again!!). Cassandra confirmed that the warranty they gave us has a rental car allowance ($30/day) when car is in shop & that Gateway should set up rental car & be reimbursed by warranty!! She advised that we should no longef use Gateway & that all our documented information would be reviewed at the next meeting to review their franchise!!! If we are being lied to & treated disrespectfully & unacceptably, others surely are, too. Customers: BEWARE!!!Buren & Bonnie Hollis+December UPDATEI emailed the CEO of Ford Motor Co. and he assigned Lynn from his Executive Offices to help. Dealers are independent so Ford has no control over them. After discussions with me and Gateway, she also recommended I use a different dealer. Gateway made an "offer" which I declined! To accept would usurp my right to free speech - WOW!! They wiuld not schedule repair unless I removed this and 2 other negative reviews plus cancel a Better Business Bureau complaint!!! Holy cow - that is just UNAMERICAN!!! I replied that after a quality repair I would remove or update the reviews. No response from Gateway!! Lynn agreed that I have the right to free speech. She made an appointment with a different dealer and my car is in their shop being repaired. Water pump is being replaced - that is what I told Gateway was wrong on their 1st attempt to repair!!! This dealer also gave my wife a rental car when she took it in for repair!! Repair & rental car is covered by warranty!! Lynn had agreed to pay rental car fee if it was not covered. She also agreed to pat our $100 warranty deductible! Trying to make up for our unacceptable and UNAMERICAN treatment by Gateway!! We will never use or recommend Gateway again!!! This event will be reviewed by Ford when their dealership renewal comes up for renewal! After 30 years of unfaultering loyalty, Gateway treated us with disrespect, discourteously, untruthfully, unacceptable, unappreciative, UNAMERICAN attutude!!! So I say "CUSTOMERS BEWARE"!!!!!!!

My Nephew found the 2105 Ford Fusion on the internet and met me at your dealership. While this car did not have all the features I wanted it met most of them. Danny was a good salesman and did not try to get me to look at other vehicles that I was not interested in. The price was in the range of my budget and after a little back and forth we were able to reach a compromised price. This is the first new car we have had in 10 years and so far I am extremely happy.

I like how the technicians come out and explain exactly what was done to your vehicle. Gateways techs go out of their way to assist all clients. One handicapped client was assisted to her vehicle that had been moved to a convenient location by a tech. I was impressed by their compassion and helpful manner. Love all st Gsteway.

We have purchased our last three vehicles through gateway and every single experience was by far the best experience I have ever had with a car dealership. They simply are not what you expect from a dealership. They treat you like family and are always fair with pricing. They go out of their way to make sure you are absolutely happy with your vehicle. The auto body shop is equally impressive. The manager is very helpful and friendly. Anytime I have even the most minor problem he makes sure I'm taken care of with quality work in a timely manor. 2012 Ford Escape XLT. Incredibly clean and well-maintained, when other dealerships I had visited didn't even care to make the cars look nice to try to sell them. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming and Danny was an amazing salesman who made sure to answer all of my questions (he was also well-informed about the vehicle in question), gave me a free tank of gas, and even a free detail for use at a later time. The financial manager (Shane, I believe?) helped explain all my financing options to me and actually got me a great deal and I am incredibly happy with everything about purchasing my first vehicle by myself. And yes, I have already recommended your business to several of my friends and classmates. Hopefully this car lasts me a while, but when it is time to get a new one, I can guarantee Gateway Ford will be the first dealership I go to. Thank you for everything! p.s. the nice thank you note was a great touch! Not many people do that nowadays and it really shows class!
