I bought a 2020 Sorento here and had the best experience I've ever had with a car dealer. Jack (salesman) and Jim (his boss) went above and beyond and hooked me up with a very fair deal on a great car. And Will, their finance guy, was efficient and thorough. I went in prepared to negotiate very hard but was pleasantly surprised by their first offer. They even provided me a loaner for a day when I wasn't able to get to the dealership early enough in the day to finish the paperwork. A+++ If you need a new car, call these guys. Sales team goes above and beyond. We were in the hunt for a Seltos EX. Jack Ryan went above and beyond to help us find the color and vehicle we wanted. After visiting a local Kia dealership and being told we wouldn't be able to find what we wanted due to the shortage, I called other Kia dealerships within a 50 mile radius. I brought my car in for service due to a recall on a 2013 KIA Sorento. The recall was related to a brake shift. I also told the guy that my car had stalled twice without warning and if he could look into that as well and mentioned there was a bulletin, SC106 problem with engine. He asked me if the engine came on and I said, "no". He then told me that if the engine lights doesn't come on then he can't fix it because he doesn't know what is causing it to stall. He insisted that he can't help unless the engine light comes on. So I asked him, "You are going to wait until my engine stalled again and next time I could get into a serious accident and that's when you'll agree to try and fix my car?" He was shocked and offended after hearing what I said. He then told me to get out! So I left and called Herb Chamber Kia in Burlington. They said to bring the car in and they will take a look at it. The technician said the recall on the brake shift are inter-related. Fixing the brake shift will stop the engine from stalling. I was shocked when I learned this because the Service manager who didn't want to look into fixing the problem did not know that the recall on the brake shift were related. Not only that, he denied that there was a bulletin and when I tried to it show him, he refuseed to look at it. I am disappointed that one, he out right denied providing me service on a recall and two, he was not aware of the bulletin and three, not knowdgeable about KIA's mechanical problem.

I had not expected to buy a car so soon. I was browsing on cars.com who contacted Gervais about a Kia Sportage with low mileage that I was curious about. I received a call from Bobby Desforges and explained my financial situation to him and my concerns about qualifying for a loan. The next day I went in to see the Kia, took it for a test drive, was approved for financing and filled out all the paperwork. Two days later I picked up the Kia and I have been in 7th heaven ever since! I had been in customer service for many years and I know what quality care is and I received that and more from this dealership. They could not do enough for me. If this review had an option of more than 5 stars I would use it. Thank you to Gervais Kia for this fabulous and problem free car buying experience!

I had a fantastic experience I leased a 2015 Kia Optima and from the moment I entered the dealership I was treated great Humprey really listened to what I wanted, what I could afford and that this was my first lease and . Asked parts manager for a full wheel and tire to use in my 20014 kia forte as a spare ( because they don't come with one ) insisted that it wouldn't' t fit and acted like I was just a stupid woman. So talked me into a doughnut then when I mentioned that the windshield wiper on the passenger side didnt clear the whole side he first said it should have been a size 14 instead of a 13 but that was too long on the other side. So I asked him if all Kias were like this answer was " I guess so " Not happy with the attitude. Everybody was friendly when I bought the car but the service needs work.

Outstanding service department and equally outstanding experience with the sales department when purchasing a 2016 Kia. John, the salesman, was no pressure, polite, honest and did EXACTLY what he said he said he would do! Not only did he find the car I was looking for, he helped work a price that was fair and made sure the delivery was smooth! Paperwork and registration was ready at pick up as promised, easiest transaction ever! He patiently showed each and every feature of the vehicle and made sure I was comfortable before I drove away. Straightforward buy/trade-in process that rivaled the "Saturn experience" of yesteryear. I simply wanted to trade-in my car and buy a used one as a replacement - no protracted negotiations with any of the sales representatives, a fair price, and a week wait for the new car to be prepped. Paperwork handled very efficiently; with the only drawback that I needed to drive the car 200 miles for a MA Inspection sticker (to reset the OBD). Not a problem as I live in the area.

I brought my 2011 Optima to the Gervais service department without having an appointment since the AC problem was intermittent. I was near the dealership and the problem started. I left the car running while went into the service department and saw Ralph. He immediately had a service tech look at the car and decided that they needed to keep the car overnight. They even gave me a ride home. They had to order the part so I got my car back. A couple of days later, Ralph called and said the part was in. My wife brought the car to them, they gave her a ride home. When the car was done (same day), they called and sent someone to picker her up and we had the fixed car back.All this to say the service was prompt, friendly and awesome.

I recently leased a car under the current promotion that was offered by Gervais Kia. My saleswoman, Christina Khem, was very knowledgeable about the cars and answered all of my questions. I didn't feel any pressure at all with my transaction and was able to find the right car for me. My previous vehicle was getting up there in mileage (almost 300,000), so my boyfriend took me to Gervais Kia to look at what they had to offer. We met salesman Christian Fletcher and checked out the Optima and the Forte. I was apprehensive about purchasing a new vehicle and my boyfriend can be rather difficult when it comes to negotiating a deal, so we were probably not the easiest customers to deal with but Christian was great and the next day I was able to drive home my new 2014 Kia Forte. Christian helped me figure out all my options and decide which one was best for my needs/budget. He even handled my difficult negotiator and we both left very happy with our experience at Gervais.I would highly recommend them for your next vehicle purchase.

I went in expecting not to walk out with a vehicle and was mistaken. I just graduated and have no established credit, but Frank Madden (a Kia Salesman) assured me that he would be able to help and he did. He got me in a car, and made sure that it was a car that I liked (they won't try and over sale you a vehicle to make a profit). The financial manager, Kimath, worked with the banks and got me a deal I could afford. Frank and Kimath made sure I was comfortable with payments and got me into a 2015 Kia Optima EX. Gervais Kia does not have sleezy salesmen that try and get you into the most expensive car; instead, they try and find the perfect fit for you. Pay them a visit, it will be worth it!

The staff knows me by my name and was always friendly and courteous. My sales product specialist; Christian Fletcher is my point of person to go to. I have to say I found the vehicle on cars.com talked to Frank (Saleman) we made a plan for me to go in. I went in went for a test drive and everyone was Great I made the deal and got the car that afternoon. the Finance got me an awesome rate. I had such a Great experience. 2 days later I had to have the vehicle towed back ended up being the battery. I was a little disappointed that I was not told the CD player doesn't work and now I have to take it back to have transmission looked ant for shifting problems but other than that I love the vehicle and had again a great experience and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle

The whole process stresses me out. Add to that after an extended period of unemployment, our credit was not where we could negotiate for the best deal. We were trading in a 14 year old vehicle for a new one, so needless to say, we were there out of sheer necessity. I was prepared for the experience to be unpleasant. After dealing with Frank Madden and Jim Brophy, I stand corrected! They took the time to work with us and get us in the car we wanted at an interest rate and payment we can easily live with and seemed very happy to be able to help us. Everyone we dealt with from beginning to end bent over backward to get us what we wanted. I'll be telling all my friends to check out Gervais Kia in Lowell!

What I loved most about the experience was that it was direct, upfront, and efficient -- no waiting around and playing the car sales game of seeing "what the manager could do for you" as in other dealerships. Dealership also had a good range of models, colors from which to choose what we wanted.

Bad expierence my girl bought a used chevy here with all sorts or problems. And they didnt lower the price or fix any issues prior too and after. Salesmen clearly took advantage of a young women. And now its up to me to fix the issues in the 500 dollar range. I would not recomend anyone here find somewhere else pls

The staff at Gervais Kia was professional, caring and most helpful. I needed to take my 2013 Kia Optima in for routine service and to make a warranty related repair. Online appointment reminders were appreciated as was the timeliness of service. I have bought multiple cars from this dealership and would highly recommend them. I appreciate that the salespeople are not overly pushy and want buyers to make an informed and comfortable decision to best meet their needs.

In 2012, we purchased a 2004 Kia Sedona at Gervais. The salesman was young and dismissive of my concerns about the vehicle's steering and alignment, but assured us it would be checked and fixed, if needed, before we picked it up. A week later we picked up our van and immediately noticed that it was still pulling to the left. I spoke with the service department, which did not seem to be aware of my previous concerns. Eventually, I had to bring the van in twice before the alignment issues were resolved. Gervais service never did find any reason for the whining noise when turning, and lo and behold, just after the warranty ran out, the power steering pump went. In 2013 we were looking to replace our other car and decided to give Gervais another try, so long as we worked with a different salesman. This time we found a lower mileage Dodge Grand Caravan for a reasonable price. During the test drive I noticed a scraping noise when turning to the left and spoke directly with the service department to be sure this would be resolved before pickup and final payment. This was actually resolved on time, but with the scraping noise gone, I noticed a loud rattle in the front end. Back into the service department, this time with urgency, as we were scheduled to drive our new family van to our Disney vacation in just a few days. I was told the rattle was a result of a bad motor mount and the part would have to be ordered. After several delays, we were able to pick up the van the night before we left for vacation. The car was quieter than before, but still rattled loudly over bumps. I was told this was normal noise. Less than a year later that rattle has gotten progressively worse and now I find I will need to replace the front struts and towers. In addition, both vehicles have broken out in multiple rust spots that were shoddily covered up with bondo and paint when we purchased them. Obviously we were not buying the most expensive vehicle on the lot in either case but, even at that, we did not get what we paid for. This is a dealership that will do the bare minimum to get you to drive a car off the lot, then delay and deny everything else until the warranty runs out. Please consider taking your business elsewhere-- I certainly will.

We've all been to dealerships where you felt high pressure, frustrated, or just like a number. You will find NONE of this at Gervais Kia. Instead what you will find is friendly, approachable sales reps who let the cars speak for themselves, and low pressure. They stayed with us through the whole process, and made it a fun time. They were knowledgeable about vehicles as well as sales process, and were realistic and honest about finance process. Trade in value given was excellent, and they don't waste your time. It was by far, the best sales experience I've ever had.

An overall great experience in buying my used Ford Edge. The price on the lot was the same as advertised on cars.com (my experience this summer in looking for a used car has been that most dealers give a lower on-line price to get you in the door and then work off the on-lot price which is often $500-$1000 higher - that didn't happen here which I am appreciative of). Worked with Humphrey who was just great to work with - very attentive to us during the entire process, no pressure in making the sale and provided us with all the info we needed to make an informed purchase. Car was in great shape and exactly as described. Had some minor things for them to do before picking up the car and they were all taken care off. Also when picking the car up, it only took about 30 minutes to get the car registered, have plates put on and get inspected which was a nice bonus - they also did all of the work with my insurance agent. I would definitely recommend working with them to my friends and colleagues.

We were looking for the right vehicle at the right price. Our intention was just to get info and not make a deal on the day we were looking. However after a test drive of a vehicle we truly did like, the sales manager promised that if we agreed to do business with them he would "knock our socks off"... and he truly did. The deal went smoothly and as was mentioned in another comment, there were extras that were offered, but no hard sell. A very good experience thus far!

I have to say that I was impressed. I was greeted by several people almost as soon as I walked in the showroom with no real pressure at all. Both Jim and Dan were both more than happy to walk me through the inventory, the dealership, and then give me a full run down on the different deals and options that I qualified for. Overall %100 happy with the experience and most important being that I love my new car!

I would recommend this dealership. Thank you to our salesman, Ed, who was very pleasant. Our overall experience was positive. I did not feel pressured and I think that we received a fair deal on our new Kia Sorrento- I love it! :) Thank you to everyone at Gervais Kia!!!

I searched for a particular used 2008 Volvo for some time and found one near home on Cars.com. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I had the car checked at my Volvo dealer and a couple of problems were found. Gervais repaired the important ones properly and completely. Closing the sale went well, some extras were offered, but no hard sell. Gervais provided registration and vehicle inspection services which saved time and trouble. In the 60's, I had purchased several used cars from another Gervais shop and this transaction confirmed my favorable impression of this business. My wife and I are happy with this car and this year plan to take it to Minnesota to see family.

great communication, I found the car I wanted to buy using their online inventory. We negotiated two trades for the "new" vehicle, and everyone was happy with the deal that was made.

Via Cars.com, I located a low mileage 2012 Hyundi Sonata at a fair price at Gervais, and completed the Cars.com interest form, inquired if the car was still avilable, asked to verify the mileage and transmission type, and clicked submit. Within 2 hours I received a follow up call from the Gervais sales person. He verified that the car was still there and that the information was correct, and answered a few more questions that I asked. All seemed well at this point. I drove 35 minutes to Gervais, checkbook in hand to test drive the vehicle and with the intent to purchase, provided there weren't any obvious defects. When the salesperson showed me car it was silver not gray, which was no big problem. I noticed the price was $1,000 more than listed on Cars.com, and thought, no problem, they're just listing it different on the lot. We got in the car and it was an automatic transmission, not as spec'd, nor shown in the interior photo on Cars.com, nor verified in the salesperson's call to me. At this point I noticed that the mileage was also not that of the listed car. The salesperson apologized that the car may be somewhere else on the lot, but said he needed to talk to his manager. He then started pitching me on other vehicles, none of which were even close to the reason that I traveled to Gervais. -----I wasted an hour and a half of my time because of Gervais!!

Kia recall brakes and Radiator. I brought my wife's 04 Kia Sorento to Gervais Kia, 6 Industrial Avenue, Lowell, MA for the SC073 recall work, which is the valve sub assembly induction replacement. When they finally finished it, my wife and I took it for a test drive. We both noticed a strong smell of coolant coming from the vehicle. I looked under the hood and noticed that they had broken my radiator and Gervais Kia had attempted to fix the problem using obvious white glue. In addition, the Kia parking brake, which is also the emergency brake, was disconnected. I brought the vehicle back to Gervais Kia first thing the next morning. The service manager on duty that morning at Gervais Kia was Al Dias.I showed him the broken radiator and the limp parking brake. He stated that our Kia Sorento, which we have owned since new, came into Gervais Kia with the radiator broken.Of course, I knew he was being dishonest but I let him go on as though he was speaking to an idiot who has never looked under his own hood. I then inquired about non functioning parking brake / emergency brake, which should have been spotted in the "Gervais Kia complimentary QCM inspection," only to hear the most preposterous response. Al Dias of Gervais Kia Lowell stated that is "Just a parking brake, and will not stop the vehicle."I asked him if he expected me to believe that Kia Sorento has no emergency braking system? He adamantly stated that "KIA Sorento has no emergency braking system, the parking brake will not stop the KIA Sorento."So says the insider expert, Al Dias, service manager of Gervais Kia Lowell Massachusetts.Called them every day for a week straight. Have phone logs of at least 15 minutes per day with Gervais Kia, Lowell, MA and 30 minutes per day with Kia National customer support.FYI and Kia buyer beware: Kia National customer support clearly stated on a recorded phone call that:"Kia corporation has no control over those who sell, distribute, and service their products in the United States."

Right atter my wife and I signed paper work, the customer service went way down hill. They didn't know how to properly input the MA reg info the night I went to pick the new car up. They cancelled my old plates, but could get the new ones for me that night. Also before I left that night I asked them to wash it for me, because all they did for delivery was put tire shine on. They had to give me a LOANER car for the night since they couldn't get the plates for the new car. The loaner car was out of gas and they tell me to put gas in it. The following day when I went to finally get my new car, they just handed me the keys and went back talking among themselves. I get into the car and there is a half tank of gas and all the plastic still inside. On the drive home I noticed that the car was pulling to the left. Went back to the dealership on Sat. morning, and let them know. They told me it was because the tire needed routed. I asked why on a new car do the tires need to be rotated already, the answer was becuase the are new. OK! After they routed the tires they told me it might be better or worse, but if it is worse call us and we can make an appt to get it in. As soon as I pulled out and got onto the highway it pilled even worse. Called them Monday morning and hold them it was oulling still. They told me I could bring it in, but they don't own an alingment machine so I would have to pay to get it alinged. I ask why I would have to pay for it, becuase they would have to send it out. I told the guy I was done with that dealership and dont worry about making an appt.
