Our salesman Greg helped us pick out the perfect vehicle for us. The loan process was quick and easy. Such a fun experience with no pressure. It was the best experience in purchasing a car that we ever had. We will definitely be back. Went back and bought my daughter a car. Greg once again was awesome and was very helpful.

We were looking at Jeeps in the area. My wife and I stopped in to look at a Jeep, just LOOK, and 3 hours later We left very happy with our Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. We have to say Kyle was so friendly, helpful and easy to work with on a deal. He walked us through the process, answered our questions and put me totally at ease during the process. I also have to say everyone at Gladstone Dodge that we worked with in the process was very friendly and easy to talk to. We will definitely be back the next time we are looking for a another vehicle! Great experience!

Matthew Gonzalez in the service department was phenomenal. He definitely kept me informed periodically of what had been done to my vehicle. I also met Herschel which works there also. Herschel's a really super cool guy. Super friendly environment. Will definitely be coming back again and even recommend it to all my friends.

Began on phone to purchase new car. Warm and friendly sales person had a car in mind. Traveled to dealership (3 hours) and car was not available. He did have another car in mind so I purchased that. Said it would be in in 5 days. Waited a week no call. I called and no sales person or manager would answer the phone. Left message for sales person and manager in the morning and no one called back that day. Got a call next day and assured me vehicle was ready including additional equipment ordered. Traveled to dealership again and found vehicle not ready. Needed to order part. Week later traveled to dealership again and part did not work. (Programming problem.) Was told by tech that fix was ready and to make appointment. Made appointment for re program and was called the night before by A.J. that I did not have an appointment. Told him who gave me appointment and he told me that he would call me next day at 9:30 am. Never called. I called and asked for A.J. and he hung up on me. General Manager called and he told me programming wasn't ready. I told him I talked to the tech and he told me it was. General Manager was trying to make an excuse and did not know I had talked to the tech. Can't understand how this dealership stays in business.

I was helped by Victor Arnone. He exceeded my expectations with his great service and care. Vic cares about what's best for the customer, not just the sale. He was patient, kind and fun to work with. For once during my. At search I felt as though someone was on my side and genuinely there looking out for my best interest. Vic understands the heart of customer service. His laid back approach was welcome after being pressured by many other dealers. I recomend him for anyone ad will continue to spread the word to friend and family.

Jake was super helpful and nice during the whole process. Everyone I spoke to was very professional and respectful. I felt taken care of and like a priority. My only complaint was the time that it took to get my car, but it was because of a series of events no one could really predict, and I feel like they handled it well. I'm happy with the deal, product, and service I have received and would recommend them!

I took my well taken care of 1999 Dodge Intrepid in for a complete check up and a few minor fixes before giving the car to my daughter for college and this is how it went. Asked if courtesy car was available, they said no problem. When I got there they charged me $150 to RENT a POC Chrysler 200...courtesy vehicle isn't a rental vehicle, strike 1. Had the replace a bad door lock selenium and they broke my door trim but said nothing, I found out later, strike 2. They were to change oil and top off fluids...didn't top off ANY, strike 3. Lastly, I find out last wek (a couple months after this service) that the brake system has "multiple old leaks" and I am now having that repaired, strike 4? They're lucky they aren't in baseball...nothing positive to say about these people. They're the stereotypical bad dealership and worse yet, they knew I was referred to them by a friend of the owner. Time to trade for a Ford.

My truck was there for two weeks due to AC not working. Picked it up and less than 12 hours later wasn't working again. Management would not call me back. I had more issues after they worked on it. I went to Excelsior Springs Dodge and they fixed problem within 24 hours.

I purchased a new 2016 Dodge Ram Tradesman from Gladstone Dodge. I live 77 miles away from the dealership in Lafayette County, but made the trip anyway after I talked to Shawn Siegel. I was told that if I made the trip, he would do everything to make my experience a good one. He DID. I left with the new truck and felt that I was treated like I was the only customer that mattered at the time. No high pressure or promises that they would not keep. I will gladly drive the distance again and deal with Shawn when I need another new car or truck.

I purchased a new 2016 jeep unlimited sport. I live out of town and contacted Shawn Siegel and had a trouble free experience. I was originally coming in to town on a Saturday but came in on Friday. I contacted Shawn not knowing it was his day off, he came in anyway and was helping in any way he could. Gladstone Jeep needs to recognize his dedication. Thank you.

Visited several other Jeep dealerships and spoke to sales people at length about purchasing a new 2016 Jeep. Most were typical car salesmen who knew little about their product or just outright sleazy. Not so with Shawn Siegel. He is outstanding! Very knowledgeable about the product he sells. Very patient in explaining what the Jeep will do and how to use all the high tech accessories. Shawn is the reason we purchased a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from the Gladstone Dealership. He is head and shoulders above the salesmen we spoke to at 6 other dealerships. He spent as much time with us as we needed and it was a pleasant Jeep purchasing experience. Would have no hesitation in recommending Shawn and Gladstone Jeep to anyone.

I was in the market for a new car. I had my eye on a 2016 Chrysler 200, as I have read good reviews and it looks slick. I was also planning to run for Congress and could not afford to be seen puttering around in some rice burner. I was approached by Mr. Cattey who was polite, knowledgeable, and attentive. After a discussion about gear ratios, chassis, suspension and mpg, I mentioned my previously stated intent to run for Congress. (You can fit a lot of interns in that thing, quite roomy interior) I told him that I wanted to run, but I didn't have a shirt or tie. He mentioned that I didn't need a shirt or tie to run for Congress. I told him I didn't know that. I also told him I've only been a citizen for 7 1/2 years. He stated I only needed to be 25 years old, a citizen for 7 years, and pay a fee in MO. I told him I didn't know that either. He asked why I wanted to run for Congress. I told him it was because I liked cafeteria food so much. Mr. Cattey treated me to Luby's Cafeteria that day. I didn't end up running for Congress, but I will DEFINITELY be getting that Chrysler 200 from Sam at Gladstone Jeep Ram.

I Have a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee have taken it to service department 4 times (all 4 times have had horrible experiences.) Took my vehicle to be serviced they forgot My vehicle was there waited over 4hrs, had oil changed next day jeep started over heating there was no oil in my vehicle!!!Was told please go online and give us a 10 to get our reviews up? Told them I wouldn't give them 1 good review.. I have given them a multitude of opportunities to reprimand themselves And they continue to be rude, not fix my vehicLe properly?!? This has been over a year period , I could go on and on about issues with them. This was the last straw will never go back to them.

My son and I went car shopping for his first car, Vic Arnone was fabulous with us, he knew it was my sons first time buying a car, and he took the time to walk him through the whole process, made sure he was truly comfortable with the car he was purchasing, He even took time to explain the buying process to my son. I bought my first car at Gladstone Dodge and had a good buying process and I am glad my son had the same experience. Thank you Vic for allowing that to happen.

Basically in a nut shell verbally made a deal and once we were getting our apps screened they came back with a complete diff price then what was said! Wasted our time an didn't care a bit. Shame on them... terrible business and the typical scamming car dealerships that give all the other dealerships a bad name. Erinwalker155athotmail.com is my email is anyone has questions.

I have taken my car to the body shop many times to have work done on it due to car accidents or other problems as well. The previous body shop employees Rachel and her manager Michelle where always friendly, knowledgable, and provided good customer service. However up until this year I was in the process of buying a new car from Gladstone Dodge and I always gave good referrals of customers wanting to buy a new or used car up until now. When I had my Chrsyler 300 fixed from the body shop the bill was almost 5,000 that my insurance company would only cover a small portion of my claims the body shop agreed to pay half of the rental car bill as the manager Loney confirmed it with the general manager Anderson Foster however when I double checked with Enterprise Rent A Car several times half of the rental car bill was never paid by the body shop at all not until I complained to the general manager Anderson Foster about it. My rental car bill went into collections and I was put on the do not rent list from Enterprise Rent a Car simply because the Gladstone Dodge Body shop refused to amend my original agreement from half of the rental car bill to the full amount. However when I checked with Enterprise Rent a Car they confirmed that the rental car bill was finally paid off by the body shop and my name was taken of the do not rent list and out of their collections department but if Gladstone Dodge made almost 5000 but refused to pay the rental car of 300 shows that they are just wanting to make money without providing good customer service. I am not saying that every employee or manager who works at Gladstone Dodge is bad but this has only been my recent experience with the body shop employees there now and the general manager Anderson Foster. I changed my mind on buying a new car there and will spend my money on a new car or getting repair work done elsewhere.

I wanted to give my husband something that he has always wanted , a jeep.On 12/11 I went to Gladstone Dodge and worked with Sam Cattey. I explained to him that I wanted to give the jeep to my husband as a surprise for Christmas. He was very good, he made sure that the jeep had what I was looking for and patiently answered my questions. That night I drove the jeep home and surprised my husband who instantly fell in love with the jeep. The next morning Sam greeted us at the door and then patiently answered all my husbands questions. Not only did Sam answer my husbands question but AJ and John answered all his questions as well. Thank all of you for helping us both have a wonderful Christmas. We have several friends that are interested in purchasing jeeps and have recommended Gladstone Dodge to them.

Gladstone Dodge made me an offer for a car. The next day when I called back they they gave me the run around for a few hours and then said they no longer wanted it. What the heck, if you didn't want it in the first place then why did you offer to buy it? Shady! Not Cool.

Well I tried to fill out the customer service buying process portion but apparently it does not work if you're on a cell phone. Overall the buying process was very easy pain free the sales staff was excellent the finance manager was excellent the Internet Sales Manager was very good at his job and we worked a great deal out with him. My salesman Undra Matthews was awesome he took care of me from the start to the finish. Got a really good deal on my car felt very comfortable the entire time I would highly recommend checking them out!

My vehicle has been in service with Dodge 4 times since the beginning of August, 2015. It randomly shuts off when Im driving down the highway, puts itself into neutral and loses power. Ive had it in twice at Gladstone Dodge, where I originally purchased the vehicle, and twice at Olathe Dodge. They cant figure out the problem. I drive over 100 miles roundtrip per day, and they will not allow their technicians to drive it over a certain amount of miles to properly diagnose it, even after I have given them permission to drive it an unlimited amount of miles to fix it. I purchased the 2014 Dodge RAM 1500 on October 10, 2014 havent even had it a year. Ive made 12 payments, 4 of which the vehicle has been in the shop. Today they instructed me to come pick up the vehicle they have a module plugged into the diagnostic steering column port and a button I have to push that relays information to this box. Even after I have provided video of what the truck does, they want me to push this button when Im driving 70 MPH on the highway and it dies on me. When did I stop becoming the consumer and became a technician? Isnt this why I have a manufactures warranty? Why is this not safe for their technicians to diagnose, but its fine for me and my family? This vehicle is a death trap not only to its passengers, but any vehicle around it when it stalls. I have had a case open with Chrysler since August, but it is no help. I told the technician today I wasnt sure if I could hit the button in time when the vehicle dies while driving because I freeze up when it stalls and I have to immediately look for a safe place to pull over pushing this button isnt going to be a natural reaction. He wasnt concerned, and said not to worry, I can push the button the next time it can store up to 3 of the recordings. I dont qualify for the lemon law because I purchased the truck with 5,533 miles on it.
Jeep Owner
Sep 23, 2015
I have been in the market for a Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 6 months now, and finally found one that really stuck out to me at the Gladstone dealership. Everything seemed to be going great and I decided to make the purchase. While test driving and looking the vehicle over however I made sure to ask a lot of questions because I wanted to make sure that I was making a smart purchase. One of my questions concerned the warranty. The gentleman Gilbert Lupercio assured me that I would be receiving a 3 year and 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. Since I was purchasing a used vehicle with just over 37,000 miles on it I wanted to clarify what he was telling me because I assumed that this warranty had already expired. No he told me, I would be receiving 3 years and 36,000 additional miles from the day that I purchased the vehicle. My boyfriend then double checked what he had just heard and we received the same exact answer. At this point I knew that there was no way I could turn down this vehicle, because a warranty like that was a fabulous addition to everything else that I was receiving and we got started signing the paperwork. We ended up getting almost all of the paperwork completed, I had even written the check, when the gentleman that deals with payment and warranties asked us if we wanted to add any bumper to bumper coverage to our vehicle for $125 a month. My boyfriend and I both looked at each other a little confused and I explained to the gentleman that that wouldn't be necessary because we were already getting the additional 3 years and 36,000 miles. He then told us that that was not in fact true and was curious why we would think this. We explained, and he ended up calling Gilbert in the back room to see if in fact this is what he had told us. So we asked Gilbert and in front of this other gentleman he again told us exactly what he had told us when we were looking at the car. The other gentleman then corrected him, and Gilbert attempted to say that he had just misspoken and that he had corrected himself when he was first working with us...a blatant lie, which we proceeded to call him out on. Needless to say we were incredibly upset and disappointed that this vehicle had been falsely advertised to us, and after much discussion, another gentleman named Gerald Bentley was brought in in an attempt to resolve the issue. He ended up offering me a master shield protection that protects the paint and seats and a detail that I would be able to come in once a year for, for as long as I own the vehicle. So while this was no bumper to bumper warranty I accepted that he was making an attempt to resolve the issue. He told me that I could bring the car in the following week and they would do that as well as get me the spare key that I had been promised. So I made arrangements to drop my jeep off for an entire day because I work across town and couldn't get it there in the middle of the day. Then I thought all of the drama of the evening had been resolved until I got into my vehicle for the first time, turned it on to find that the gas light was on, even though Gilbert had promised that they had filled up the tank for me. So at 8oclock at night after spending several hours already at the dealership, I had to take one of the salesmen over to the gas station to get my car filled up. The next week then I dropped my car off for the day that I had scheduled, and when I arrived back to pick it up I instantly noticed that the back windows were still very dirty due to my dog riding in the car over the weekend...so much for that great detail that I was promised. At this point I decided to just ignore it, because I was honestly just sick of dealing with the incompetence within this dealership and I drove home. Well my car is a push to start so you just need to have the key inside for it to start up, and since I had both the original key and the spare with me, it started up no problem. Well the same can't be said for the following day when I removed the keys from one another, left one in the house and went to leave for work. I'm sure you can guess what happened next....the key didn't work...so not only had they half xxxxx cleaning out my car, they had failed to make me a usable spare key, which I must now drive all the way back to the dealership, leave my car for another whole day just so that the problem can be resolved.Honestly, one of these problems I might have been able to forgive, but the fact that pretty much every department has proven that they are clearly not capable or knowledgeable individuals leads me to NEVER recommend this place to anyone EVER! If I could go back I would have stayed far away from this place, and I suggest others do in the future!!!

They won't honor your recall - don't go here, don't buy jeep. Our 2005 Liberty rear control arm rusted and broke while our daughter was driving the vehicle. Covered under Recall L27, but this dealer will not honor it, and want's over $200 to fix it!

Bought a new Cherokee a few months ago. Salesman was great, but watch out for the Finance Managers. They are shady. Get everything in writing from them (you'll thank me later). Basically I was lied to by the Finance Manager that helped me & by the time I found out, it was too late to do anything (had to do with a Service agreement). Dealership did nothing to fix the situation. And forget about trying their service dept unless you don't mind waiting weeks for work to be done (or 3-4 hrs just for an oil change)

I have bought three new vehicles, I am livid over agent fees, which by law they can charge the cap of $199.99. After the sale the sale the honeymoon is over. I was the fool and did not catch the agent fee until I went to register my vehicle. Quick throw out the paperwork. I as previously stated did not catch this.I want to cancel maintenance plan, just don't trust this either.I will not return to this dealership, and to think after three new vehicles from them. This is the end.Adam was good at what he does, do not get me wrong, he did me right, it was the next step, I won't forgive.

I dealt with Tony Chambers-Sales, AJ-, A finance mgr and Brent-Parts Mgr. I got there in the late afternoon and we closed the deal that evening. Tony stayed past closing time for me. Went back for one minor issue that was solved to my satisfaction. If you're buying a car from this dealer see Tony and he will take care of you. Very straight forward. No bull. Good place. Go there.

I bought my truck here March 1st this year. Its already been back to the dealership five times. The last time I went to pick it up (after they said it was done) I got in the truck and noticed the check engine light was on. I go back inside and told them it had a CEL. A guy from the service department comes out (not a technician) and clears the code. I get half way home and the light re-appeared. I've told them I am sick of driving back and fourth to their dealership. There is no way they properly "inspected" this thing before I bought it. Which they later admitted the "new" guy checked it over. I figured. NEVER take a diesel truck to these guys for service or buy one here. I have called at least twice a week for the past 3 weeks asking about the code my truck is throwing and they cant give me a straight answer other than "Oh can you read me that code again?" "I'm still working on it." I am a mechanic by trade and just like the old saying goes "If you want it done right, then do it yourself" Never buy a diesel truck from these guys. Their skills are incompetent as far as diesel pickups go. They even admitted that to me. Another excuse they gave me for always having to bring it back and never getting it right the first time is they don't have enough diesel trained technicians. Truck was sold to me having previously a power programmer which actually voids factory warranty and they didn't disclose that prior to sale. I had to find that out myself. They replaced the computer free of charge. That's how I feel about this juke joint. They tell you everything you want to hear to make the sale then once that sale is made they don't seem to give a sh*t about the problems your having. Cant wait to see what BS excuses they write to this review.

Shawn was awesome! We did most of our initial consulting via email, I live in St. Joseph and didn't want to make the 1 hour drive just to waste my time. He was straightforward, honest, efficient and personable. He was able to get me into the car I wanted, at a price I could afford, with the very least hassle possible. I have to say it was the most pleasant car buying experience that I have ever had!Definitely worth the drive! I will recommend Gladstone Dodge to anyone who asks and probably some that don't!

Leonard Conley I came to Gladstone Dodge on 10/27/14 to get my 2003 Dodge Ram fixed it would stall at 3500 RPM's and at signal lights even when I would put it in reverse, and was producing codes P0344 & P0340. My service advisor was Sonny McWilliams. Work was performed by Michael Shilts. My decription of service page states that he was to run a diagnostic test and advise. The service page states that he installed a 56041584AF :SENSOR: CAMSHAFT. Found cam sensor had internal failure causing stall. Replaced cam sensor cleared codes and test drove vehicle. Said there were no further problems at this time. I was charged $202.06 for this repair. On 11/26/14 I called back and talked with Sonny, I told him that my dodge ram was doing the same thing again. He told me I could bring it back and they would check it out. I asked if there would be a charge? Sonny said no we warrant our work for 12 months or 12,000 miles. we made an appointment for 12/01/14 7:00am. When I got there he signed me in and said he would give me a call after it was checked out. i had not received a call so I called at 11:41am and received a call back at 11:48am. Sonny said that it was the "Throttle sensor and it would be $150.00 plus diagnostic. I said, you told me that was free. He said I will wave it. I told him I did not have the money for it and told him I would call him back. I called him back about two minutes later and told him to fix it. He called me back at 2:46pm and asked me to give him a call. I missed the call. At 2:56pm I called him to find out if it was fixed he said that Michael was working on it. I arrived at Gladstone Dodge at 3:53pm Sonny said to me that we just talked 30 minutes ago and Michael Shilts is still working on it, I told him that was about a hour ago. About 15 minutes later Sonny came in and said that it was not the throttle sensor it is the PCM and would cost $956.10, and that he meant to tell me that earlier when he called me over the phone. I told him I did not have the money for that. He said they would put the old throttle sensor back in. I called my son who was a tech at Overland Park Jeep. He said that they should have seen that code on the first reading, and they did a second reading and did not see it! We called that a come back if we miss diagnosed it then we had to fix it and the same guy did it twice!! He talked to Sonny and he did not want to listen to what he was saying as my son was explaining that he says the service advisors should know. I have my knew sheet of description of service it reads: (Customer had the cam position sensor replaced here on 10/27/14. Vehicle is doing the same thing it was doing when he brought it in before replacing the cam position sensor. Advise work performed by Michael Shilts) If Gladstone Dodge knows that the work they did to my RAM did not fix it and they admit it they should be liable for their negligence. Nor did they show any responsibility for charging me and doing a diagnostic that they clearly was guessing what to fix and charging me $202.06 for a part I did not need and a diagnose they did not do twice, taking parts off of my engine and hoping they would work. They know that my vehicle is stuck in "Limp Mode" not being able to go beyond 3500 RPM's. If the engine did not protect itself by not exceeding 3500 rpms, Gladstone Dodge would not protect it with accurate diagnoses. I have never seen a lack of professionalism from a dealership the exclusively services dodge products Not a happy camper,

The amount of effort and hard work Jake Clark put into the 2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude purchase I made was what made me sign the deal in the end. I could not have designed a more personally invested sales professional if I had tried but thankfully, Jake was everything I needed to guide my choice and more. Although the negotiations with Jake's supervisor got rough, Jake went MORE THAN above and beyond his role to ensure that I was satisfied with my purchase in a reasonable price point for a recent college graduate. How do I rate this experience with Jake? I can only recommend anyone and everyone go to him for their buying needs....he is so far from your typical pushy/overbearing salesman that it made buying my Patriot almost a walk in the park (more like drive in the park-literally). Not many people run into someone like him on a sales lot asking for directions to the used car section and end up buying a more budget-friendly/newer vehicle because he believed it was the BEST deal he could provide.Without a doubt, I will refer everyone I know to Gladstone Auto as long as they see Jake C

Thanks Jake. You handled our vehicle search and purchase the way we like. Patient and no pressure. It didn't bother you a bit that we test drove so many vehicles, some more than once. You even allowed us to evaluate one over the weekend, which by the way, sealed the deal. It was a rather long wait getting to the paperwork but in all fairness it was an extremely busy day for the dealership (viewing that as a good sign I hope) so I don't know what you could have done. We'll be back to see you and we'll also direct our friends your way.---------This is my initial review of the purchase. I will also review the final purchase when the last few items are delivered - hitch installation, window tinting, & rust protection. That review will go to AJ Wasman and the Service area.

I had a terrible buying experience believe all they care about is the sale once that is complete they are done too. Have been trying to get my steering wheel looked at it appears thate color or something is fading off pictures were taken when I took it in for the first oil change then was advised a month ago that pictures would not work I would need to bring it back so their service manager could look at personally as of today 30 days later no call not contact. I am now taking my Jeep to Lees Summit Jeep they are friendly, and actually concerned about their customers even after the sale. Do not I repeat do not go to Gladstone Dodge.

On three separate occasions I have spent over three hours waiting for an oil change for my Jeep. This location does not take appointments. I notified the manager of this and he said I would have much better luck if I came in on a weekday. I like most people work.... But it I did the last time.... It was three hours which was down from the four I was spending on Saturdays. This week I went by it was going to be two hours before they could get my car on the rack. I do not know whether it is mis mana gent..... Lack of staff.... My time is too valuable to spend three to four hours getting an oil change. I am taking my business to a local auto service that will take appointments.

Scott Grogg is one down-to-earth salesman. He actually hears the customer and their needs, and places them above his own interests. Because of his willing ability to go above and beyond, my husband and I drove away in a brand new Town and Country van. Scott Grogg earned another customer and a loyal client to Gladstone Dodge. Thank you, Scott!!

An excellent purchase experience through Jake on the purchase of our new Durango. We had a couple snags getting some accessories put on the vehicle because Dodge hasn't supplied the parts yet, (not the dealers fault) and Jake has bent over backwards from the sales side, as has AJ from the service side to get the problems corrected. The sale/financing/delivery went flawlessly and I would definitely recommend Jake and this dealership to buy your new car.

On April 24, 2014 we went to Gladstone Dodge to buy a new car. All was good until time to get car. Car was delivered to Susan Hale by the detailer who handed to keys to her after all paperwork was signed. Drove the car for 4 days when Gladstone Dodge called & said they gave us the wrong car. Our car was sitting on lot. Paperwork did not match VIN # on car. Was told to bring car back and give us right car. Brought car back and my husband was given the keys. Car would not start. They jump started the car and said it should be alright. Which it was. But Gerald, the salesman, never called to make sure everything was ok or to apologize for the mix-up. Never got any type of card or any info on Gerald and never received even a thank-you for the sale. Did receive a tank of gas for the inconvenience for the mix-up. Then they called a few days later and were told we were not financed and to return the car. Upon receiving this info we went to another Dodge dealer. They were going to finance us and pick us up to go get our new car. The exact one we bought at Gladstone. But before we could pick it up, Gladstone called and said they got us financed. We told them we did not want the car but the bank had already financed us and we were out of luck.A few days later we did received and e-mail from Gerald thanking us for buying the car. Are you kidding!!!!! We will never buy another car from Gladstone nor will we recommend them to anyone else. We were treated unfairly and expected a lot more respect than we were shown.

I had totaled my car in an accident and needed one to replace it. My first thought was a Dodge truck since I have experienced first hand how tough they are. Decided I didn't really need one as much as wanted one so I looked at Jeeps. There were a couple I liked, they turned out to be a surprisingly good ride, but a little beyond my budget for the time being. The Dodge Avenger was suggested, as it is a good vehicle and had a big factory rebate with it ($3500 up-front). Took it for a test drive and it really surprised me. It proved to be a much smoother, quieter, and more spacious ride than my Elantra was. It didn't have all the bells and whistles, but who really needs those anyway? Ryan took the time to find out what I was looking for and made recommendations that would be best for me and my situation. He said he would fight for me to get things worked out and he did. I bought the Avenger that day and do not regret it. I can easily see going back to this dealer to work with Ryan in the future and I do plan to do so. I was treated right and respectfully and do not feel as if I got screwed-over at all. I look forward to taking all my car-buying business here and dealing with Ryan.

Where do I even begin..I debated on this for a while and was advised by another dealership that I should write a review on this site, so here goes...We purchased a 2005 Ford F150 on March 28th. This was the second dealership that we had went to that day, we had a list, but this truck fit our needs in what we were looking for, and the price range we wanted to stay in. So all was well, we signed the papers and at that time the finance guy told us that the title would be mailed to us at the beginning of the following week. At the end of the next week we still had not received anything in the mail, so at the beginning of the following week we began making phone calls. We talked to our salesman first and he said he would have to get with Tammy and would call us back, we got no phone call, so we called the next day and asked to speak to the general manager he wasn't in so we talked to the guy over sales and explained our situation, he said he would look into it and call us back. He did call my husband back and said that it should be coming in the mail. At the end of the next week still nothing so we called back and at that time my husband was told by Tammy that the title was "lost" and that she would have to apply for a lost title. We have at this time owned the pickup for 3 weeks. So now we are getting close to the 30 day temp tag expiring. After contacting the Missouri Dept of Revenue and the Highway patrol I called the dealership on the 18th of April and finally spoke to the general manager..he explained they were doing everything to expedite the lost title process and didn't know what else we expected him to do. I explained to him that we needed the title and expected him to make that happen, he said it should be just a few days and that he would even have someone drive it up to us as we live 100 miles away. When I hung up the phone, I was not happy with the answer I got, so I proceeded to call the Missouri Dept of revenue dealer licensing division and we were told we could make a formal complaint and was told by them to call the dealership back and explain that we were filing a complaint and that might "light a fire under them" so I did call Andy back and told him just that. He at that time became extremely rude and said just bring the truck back and he would give us full trade in value and put us in a different truck, I told him that he had nothing on his lot we were interested in, and that we wanted the truck we purchased but we needed a title. He said he would check into it and give me a call back, in the mean time I called Chrysler corporation in Michigan and spoke to them and they called Gladstone dodge and then told me that she would file a formal complaint on our behalf with the regional manager over this area. Within 15 minutes Andy called us again, saying that we could just bring the truck back, I told him we didn't want to bring the truck back that we wanted a title and that we in all reality were not upset that the title was lost, but was more upset that this had not been communicated to us without us making several phone calls. At this time, he then said it would be 2 weeks and we should have it, he also said that we could go ahead and drive the pickup on the expired temp tag and he would pay for any tickets we received. I explained my husband is a commercial truck driver and that he could not afford to have tickets on his license not to mention this would make our insurance premiums higher and so it would have to stay parked once the temp tag ran out. So at the end of the 2 weeks again we heard nothing until my husband called and spoke with Tammy who said they were "trying to locate the title" but in all reality it could be at least another month. So our first truck payment is due in 10 days and we are unable to drive the truck and Gladstone dodge has done nothing to "make the situation right" for us. They seem as if they can't understand why we are so upset over this that they do this all the time, and usually it is not a problem, but it is a problem this time. My advise to anyone buying from this dealership is to make sure you have all the documents you need upon leaving because once you have signed on the bottom line, they do not care about you anymore. This has become a huge inconvenience for us, have they offered us a loaner vehicles? Have they offered to pay our first truck payment? Have they offered to give back the $200 document fee they charge you...NO NO NO...Our patience is more than ran out over this situation. And just FYI to anyone buying a vehicle from anyone, it is ILLEGAL to sell a vehicle without a title...they knew when we bought it that there was not title and had they been HONEST from the get go, that would have went a long way, just a simple phone call to say, hey we have a situation here and explained what it was, but they tried to hide it, cover it up whatever and now we have our "good deal" sitting in our driveway and unable to drive it...the best thing I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!!! You would expect this from some fly-by-night dealership not from a big dealership like Gladstone Dodge...

I couldn't have had a better experience. I visited 7 dealerships regarding the same type of vehicle. Gladstone offered me the best price, as well as the best customer service. Too often people share negative experiences then forget to share the positive ones. This dealership is a great place filled with the best people. From the very first moment I was treated like a friend, I was never ever pressured, never lied to, never avoided. All of the people here were friendly and helpful especially the salesman who helped me Jake Clark, and the sales manager Troy Pratt, I will absolutely recommend them and all the other staff to anyone and everyone I know. If this makes its way back to the dealership thank you guys so much for your help and being awesome, and for anyone interested in buying a car you have to go check these guys out they're the best and they'll really work for you.

Since purchasing my 2009 Dodge Ram, I have had several visits to the Service Department. All of them have been good experiences. I just recently found out about this website and have decided to comment on my last visit. I worked with Michelle and Rachel. They were very friendly and extremely helpful. My problem was handled efficiently and completely. The personnel they work with are very good and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for repairs for their vehicle.

Scott Grogg was great. He spent a lot of time with us to find the car that was a good match for us. He was very friendly and helpful. But the employee (I don't remember his name) that wanted to sell us extended warranties was rude and insulting. He is the reason why I would never buy another car at Gladstone Dodge nor would I recommend it to another person. He made what was a positive experience into a stressful experience. Again I really appreciate Scott and all he did to find us the perfect car. But the last employee that was trying to sell us the warranties ruined the entire experience for us.

I originally called the dealership regarding a used truck I saw listed on the internet. Tony was the salesman I spoke with. Tony stated that truck had gone to auction, but took the time to talk to me about what I was looking for/interested in (for my son's first vehicle). Ten days later I answered a call from Tony. He was adamant that he had the perfect truck for my son. We made the time to run to the dealership that night and after looking at and driving the truck we were able to easily reach a number we were happy with. We were at the dealership for less than two hours that night. It was one of the best experiences we have had purchasing a vehicle. Tony did an outstanding job following up with a few things needing to be done to the truck.

My overall experience at Gladstone Dodge was excellent. Tony spent a lot of time finding the perfect jeep cherokee for my family.Tony was very knowledgeable about the cars he showed my husband and I. The price was lower than anybody in town and the quality was great. I bought a used Jeep with very low miles and in excellent condition. Tony was very professional and kind. My experience with John in finance was just as good. They went above and beyond to satisfy my needs. My husband and I will go there again when the time comes for another vehicle.

Salesman, Jake Clark, performed with excellence and I had a pleasant, satisfying experience dealing with him. Other salesmen were adequate but did not seem interested in me. Had problem with software in identifying which pickup was being sold which caused delay in finding truck for test drive. Big problem in processing the lease sales contract as the software could not print out the contract properly. Amounts did not add up and balances were incorrect; amounts had to be manually changed by finance manager then both of us initialed his changes. New software called CRM and dealership doing very little leasing business was blamed for the problem per the finance manager. Lease customers need to be made aware of such issues when closing as lease that was agreed to will not be printed on the lease contract which they will sign.

We went to this dealership in pursuit of a Honda CRV that we had seen listed online. Nick was very friendly from the start and the vehicle was in excellent condition. We were able to get the price where we needed it to be and Nick helped to assist us in getting this vehicle. It was a great car buying experience and very smooth process. I would recommend anyone to go here when considering buying a car.

Very rude counter manners, never any eye contact and it was more important to answer the ringing phone (3) calls than to give sevice and attention to the PAYING customer. I still have no idea who the service representative was, he never introduced himself, nor is there a displayed name. The counter area is very customer unfriendly, and moving the pay services to this location does not lend to good relations. one of the services this time was the reinstallation of a rear view mirror that had come off, it was glued back on, but it was left covered with grease.

I purchased my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon from Gladstone Dodge. I am from a few states over, and even though there was a large distance between me and the dealership, they were able to handle business better than the dealer down the street from me! Tony is great, he checked up on me regularly and was available to answer my numerous questions without complaint. Not once did I feel as if I was a burden to him or his fellow sales team. I made an appointment for a State Inspection online and received a reply to bring it in on Wednesday, 1/9/13. Upon my arrival I pulled into the service area and waited by my vehicle. There were (4) service advisors who seemed busy on their computers. Finally one service advisor approached me (Heather) and asked if they could help me. I indicated that I had an appointment for a MVI. The comments out of her mouth were sarcastic stating that they did not do state inspections on Wednesday and asked who made the appointment with me. I told here and it was obvious she was displeased but said she would take care of it reluctantly. I also mentioned that I needed my tires checked. She indicated that it was part of their courtesy multi-point inspection.Approximately an hour later I was approached by Heather and was told my vehicle passed inspection but my vehicle needed attention to several areas such as an oil change, new battery and there is an oil leak. She stated quoted a price for this service which I declined. She said she would have my vehicle brought around along with the paperwork. I waited by the service entrance and waited while she took care of other customers arriving in the service area. After delivery of my vehicle and arriving at home I checked the tires. The tires were never checked and were low. It is obvious the courtesy check is for items that the dealer can derive possible revenue from and ignores basic general requests by the customer. Lack of attention to detail. Despite some basic remodeling at this dealership the service is the same. I would NOT recommend this dealership for service period!

I drove approximately 1 hour to Gladstone Dodge Chrysler Jeep and Ram to test drive a used sports car. After dealing with dozens of pushy sales people and shopping for over a year for the perfect deal, we were surprised at the change of scenery at this dealership. Our salesman, Nick Ballard, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We found it refreshing that after a test drive, instead of pressuring us to make an instant purchase on a vehicle that we were unsure of, Nick told us that if we didn't like the vehicle then we should not buy it. I can not recall a time in which a salesman put his interests behind ours like Nick did. We wound up purchasing the vehicle, and have no regrets. I will be going back to Gladstone Dodge Chrysler Jeep and Ram for my next vehicle when that time comes.

Worst buying experience ever. Five hours of high pressure sales tactics resulting in mass confusion over sales price. Total sticker price was $20,490. We were told we could have the car for $17,600 (exact number was handwritten on a piece of paper and not given to us). We received an invoice and a sales contact with totally different numbers between them. One shows $19, 839 as the sales price. One shows $19,490 as the sales price. A finance contract shows another set of numbers - $20,038.99 as the cash price (by the way we were not provided a copy of that contract without going back and demanding it). After questioning all of this we were told that the difference in the numbers was due to a rebate that we were not advised applied. Even with the rebate, none of the numbers jive. We returned within an hour of leaving the dealership and reviewing the invoice and sales contract (only two papers we got) to ask for clarification and insisted upon a copy of the finance contract. We were told it would be put "in the mail". After a meeting with the sales manager, he did provide us with a copy of the finance agreement which we questioned the numbers again. Nothing is matching and given the fact that the sales price was misrepresented, we wanted to cancel the contract. He was extremely rude and said we signed the sales contract and the finance contract and were stuck with both the car and what the finance contact said we owed. Also just got the paperwork on the maintenance contract and it was also misrepresented to us as well. I strongly suggest extreme care if you do business with this dealership. They absolutely showed no concern or care about their customer. My 16 year old daughter (this was to be her first car) was in tears when we left. We definitely will not be doing any further business with them and it has tarnished our feeling about the brand. We've had numerous Chrysler and Dodge vehicles, but likely won't be buying any more.

Brought my truck back to get detailed a day after purchase. When they gave it back it had a huge dent in the rear bed side. They said I took it home after purchase so they are not responsible. It was clear that the detail guy had rubbed it on the site of his narrow garage Where he worked.I will never buy from Chrysler again. They treated me like a street thug scam artist. I wanted to give the truck back.

I want to make sure that everyone knows that the reason I drove all the way to Gladstone was because of my initial dealings with Jake on the internet, he was very professional in his communications. When I got to the dealership I had forgotten his name so Shawn took care of me. Shawn was great to work with and I could not have been happier. I will recommend Gladstone Dodge to friends and family.ThanksChris Corp

First and foremost, I have to say thank you to Jake Clark and Troy Reichle at Gladstone, both made my experience there awesome. During my car buying process I was working with two Jeep dealerships: Glendale in St. Louis and Gladstone near Kansas City. After exchanging emails and text messages with Doug (Glendale) and Jake (Gladstone) for about four days, we finally settled on an exact vehicle and deal with Glendale in St. Louis. After driving the 2+ hours to the dealership I found out that the deal Doug (sales minion) and Eric (pathetic excuse for a sales manager) made was bogus and that they wouldn't honor it. The vehicle we agreed on had 20" wheels on it...the vehicle Doug and Eric tried to sell me once there at the dealership had 18" wheels on it and they thought I wouldn't notice. After bringing it to their attention and explaining that the "miscommunication" was entirely on their end, they refused to honor the deal we had and put the 20" wheels back on so out of principle, renegotiating a deal wasn't happening. Eric then tried to tell me that the vehicles at Gladstone that I was comparing his at Glendale to, did not have 20" wheels - which oh by the way, they did. My wife and I walked out, and wow, I'm glad we did. After my wife and I left Glendale we called Jake and Troy in Kansas City, and explained to them what happened and how Glendale is a joke of an organization - hoping they would still be willing to honor their deal before Glendale "trumped" them. They could have easily taken advantage of the situation and not honored the latest offer they made me, but instead they maintained their professionalism and integrity and not only kept the deal but also stayed open over an hour after the dealership closed for the night to see us. Jake (salesman) and Troy (manager) of Gladstone are what's right with the auto industry. They competently answered all of our questions and were so helpful in getting us the best deal possible.Bottom line, I STRONGLY recommend anyone who is interested in buying a Jeep to drive to Gladstone in Kansas City. Jake and Troy will absolutely take care of you.And no, I do not work for Gladstone. I'm an active duty military officer who appreciates high quality service and organizations willing to go the extra mile for you. Go give Gladstone your business, you'll be glad you did! Ask for Jake and you won't be disappointed.

I purchased a 2005 Chrysler 300C for $12,500 from Gladstone Dodge on 4/15/2013 a week later I had to take it back because the rear brakes begin grinding and was informed by the dealership that the rear brake on the passenger side had literally fallen completely apart. While they had my vehicle they also performed an alignment and balanced the tires. At not even 3 months from the date of purchase but just outside of the 3,000 mile warranty the front brakes begin squeaking, the rear brakes begin grinding, the AC went out, the driver side door handle broke off, the sun roof kept sticking in the fully open position, engine cylinders 5&6 were marked and Gladstone knew they had oil in them; if not repaired fairly soon the vehicle may need a new head gasket. That vehicle was not serviced at all before sticking it out on their lot to be sold. On 7/10/2013 I took that piece of junk to Car Max and was given $8,500 for it. That was the worst (money pit) I had ever purchased. I would never buy another vehicle from there nor refer anyone to them. I know smaller side lots that sell better reliable used cars. That vehicle should have been sold (as is). At least I would have know what to expect. atGladstone Dodge, If you want loyalty provide reliability.

I went to this dealership because my parents went and bought a brand new car there and said they got a good deal and were treated very well. So i visited this dealership and was greeted instantly by a few of the salesman. I told them the salesman i was looking for and they intercommed him right away. He came out and introduced himself and walked me through everything after i found the car for me. He talked me through it step by step. The financing department was also very easy and pleasurable to deal with. They gave me a great rebate and got me in the car the same day.

Danny was very pleasant to work with...he was informative, friendly, helpful, and not pushy. The dealership gave me a fair price for my trade in and although they did not hit my targeted price on my new vehicle they did give me a fair offer which I accepted. I would work with this dealership again and would recommend Danny to anyone.

Tom tried to sell me approximately $1125 of unnecessary service and showed little concern regarding the service need that I brought my vehicle in for. Upon checkout, the cashier couldn't tell me if the dealership offered a military discount and told me to go find Tom. Is it too much to great your customers with a smile and say please and thank you. I had to stand at the cashier's window for 8 minutes before someone came into that little room to check me out.I will certainly put you at my location of last resort for service, contemplating a letter to Chrysler's corporate office to explain why your customer experience is remedial. I will certainly tell friends and family to avoid your dealership. Funny, when I got home I was talking to all of my neighbors' in my driveway who told me that your dealership should be called a "stealership."Grade: Fail

We did not know if we could afford a new car. The sales associates were very willing to look at our financial status with us. They did not try to push us into buying a car because they wanted the commission, but rather, they wanted it to be the right decision for us. They helped us find one in our price range that we liked.

True professionals at Gladstone Dodge!!!! I needed a new truck and they delivered with a "no stress" buying experience. I am a customer for life!!!! I shopped several KC area dealerships and was not given much attention. At Gladstone Dodge, I was treated awesome and drove away a new 2013 Ram in less than an hour. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is interested in buying and buying from true professionals who know what the term customer service truly means. Can't thank them enough and I now own the truck that I always wanted at the price I was looking for. I gave them this rating due to their work ethic and the way that I was treated. They treated me like family and you must check them out!!!!

I was given an extremely large discount on a used Volkswagen Golf and was able to secure financing and complete the purchase in a very short amount of time (less than 90 minutes). I was very impressed with the management and finance office as well. They offered me all available options and insured that the car buying experience went well without being pushy. I've bought over 10 new or used cars in the last 15 years and this is by far the best dealership I've dealt with.

I bought a car here in very early April. Scott was not pushy as a salesman and was friendly. There was a lot of confusion between the salesman, sales manager, and the aftermarket salesman about additional parts I wanted. I guess they made some assumptions about the details of the parts that weren't quite accurate. I wrote a lengthy review complaining about these issues and the general manager contacted me offering me an additional part to take care of the majority of my issues. I wish it had taken a nasty review and two months to get the issues taken care of, BUT I guess the main point is that things are better now.

I have been to several auto repair shops and dealerships. Gladstone Dodge Chrysler has been outstanding. I purchased my 2005 300 Limited about a year ago from a different dealer. I was bringing it to that dealer for oil changes. A few months ago I decided to go to Gladstone Dodge because they where closer to where I live. WOW, am I glad I did. All of the employees are friendly and professional. The price quoted is the price I pay. I will never go anywhere else for service. When it comes to purchasing another vehicle, Gladstone Dodge will be the first place I will go. I thought customer service was a thing of the past, not at Gladstone Dodge. Because of that great service, you have a permanent customer. Thank you. Carl

Bought a used Mercedes from them out of town. Purchase experience was good but when there were shipping delays and then damage to my car from the transport company, they were less than helpful. They used Passport Transport to ship my car and they too were very slow and difficult to deal with. Bottom line is that it took me a full month to get into my car from the day I paid for it.

Bought a used Mercedes from out of town. Salesman was very helpful and professional through the sales process. When it came to shipping my car, it was delayed and the saleman clearly lost interest in helping me. To add insult to injury, the car was damaged by Passport Transport, the company that Gladstone uses. Again, Gladstone was less than helpful in helping me deal with the transport company and my claim. As a result, the process took a long time and I did not actually receive my car fully fixed for until a full month after I bought the car. Car arrived with fumes in the fuel tank and no temporary plates even though I specifically asked for them. Would not recommend that you buy buy a car from out of town from them.

Scott was not pushy as sales reps can be. He listened to what I wanted and worked on getting the sale as close to that as he reasonably could. Hope he is around when I'm looking for another car. When I drove up to the lot there were several sales reps that saw me but he was the only one that seemed to want to step forward and assist me. I don't know why that was but Thanks Scott.

Pretty standard sales approach and techniques but they are unusually friendly and not the typical aggressive sales folks. I felt relaxed and respected. If this is your first new car purchase or you are an old pro this is likely a good place for you to try. I don't know if this is the lowest possible price but I feel they were within 500 dollars without a bunch of theater. I don't like to wait a long time to receive the word from the manager and I was happy to have such breaks to go quickly.

my inquiry via USAA Car Buying Service was emailed to 2 dealerships. Out of the 2, Adam immediately presented me inventory via email and provided even reduced pricing so there was no guessing on what was available and what I wanted. We exchanged a few emails that first day and his presentation was admittingly "agressive", but it was positive showing his interest. Even though there were a few bumps regarding the initial car pic info did not match the Touring car I wanted. I wanted to give him a chance to make the sale and he came through. The Overland Park location was the first to contact me but only pushed the "test drive" and did not show any knowledge of what I wanted even when my initial inquiry listed what I wanted.

My parents bought a jeep here back in november/december and we were just completely satisfied with the whole process. Scott was our sales agent . We came in ten minutes before closing to look at a jeep I had seen on their website, Scott was more than willing to help us out even though all the other agents were preparing to leave for the night. It was right after the snow storm and the car we wanted to see was smack dab in the middle of all the other cars.It wasnt a problem for Scott, he got keys for all the cars and moved them. We test drove the jeep and went inside and worked out a deal. Working with Scott was like workingwith an old friend. He didnt pressure us at all, he was fair and friendly. I originally started my day at Gladstone Dodge on the Missouri side. I knew that OP Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge had the vehicle I wanted but was hesitant to make the 40 minute drive there. I saw that Gladstone Dodge had a similar vehicle that was en route and decided to go there first. As soon as I walked in, the sales man at Gladstone Dodge began to print off vehicle descriptions of various Dodge Chargers that were black and in various options. Eventually, the sales man printed off a vehicle description that was a 2013 Dodge Charger RT AWD V8 black in color. The salesman asked for my drivers license and made a copy of my license, and kept it in the back office while we discussed the vehicle he had printed. When I told him the vehicle he had showed me looked very much like the one OP Chrysler Jeep Dodge had on their lot that they had on their lot for 32,000, they backpedaled and hem hawed telling me the best price they could give me was 35,000. As the day drug on, I asked for my license back several times as the salesman gave me excuses and the manager tried to get me to agree to the price of the vehicle. Eventually, we (my fiance and I) had to walk into the manager's office and demand my driver's license back. The manager became belligerent and made smart comments about some supposed "deal" we had struck. As we left their dealership, the manager through the paperwork of the vehicle at the sales man we had talked to in plain view of the entire parking lot, customers and other staff.I then made the trip to OP Chrysler Jeep Dodge to look at the vehicle that they had sitting on their lot. I contacted TJ who said that Gladstone Dodge had called them and was trying to buy the vehicle (and then sell it to me for 3 grand more). The dealership was extremely helpful, minus the small issues listed, and clean. After Gladstone Dodge and their lack of professionalism, OP Chrysler Jeep Dodge was a dream come true.

We went in there to buy a new 2012 Jeep Liberty. They did have any with sunroofs which was a must for us, they said dont worry we can put one in. They could get the loan done in time before we had to leave. We agreed on $500 down and our 2004 Grand Prix GT for trade in. When we came back the next day Danny said they couldnt fit the sunroof in the loan so we were going to leave, but he said for $500 more they could do the sunroof, so we did. Next we went to the warranty office and he told us that they could not include that in the loan, so we paid another $730.14 on a credit card, money we didnt have to spend, but he said it would include a lifetime warranty on the paint(clear coat) and undercariage(rustproofing). When we took the car home we noticed 4 little knots in the bumper, so we called and told them about it. They said no problem we will fix it when you bring it in for the sunroof, clear coat, and rustproofing. We dropped it off for 5 days and when we got it home we noticed they didnt do anything with the clear coat or rustproofing so we had to drive 40 miles to bring it back to them. They didnt offer any gas money for their mistake or anything. We had trouble getting plates at the DMV because we just moved from Illinois and needed to go to the court house for residentcy. Then when we go back to the DMV to get the plates they tell us that they didnt include tax on the car in our loan and we need to pay $1900 out of our own pocket. So now we have a new car we cant get plates on because we dont have that kind of extra money. We already spent $1230 more than what we budgeted. Went in to talk to the owner and he said he is not my Tax Advisor. He was very rude and kept repeating himself about the Tax Advisor. They should of told us, hey by the way tax is not included and you will have to pay that out of your own pocket. We would of walked out, but no, Danny snuck it by us and we signed the papers. We are real idiots to trust them, but we have bought cars in the past and always had tax included in the price. They are scammers and dont trust them, the owner is a jerk and has NO customer service skills. He did give us $500 and wrote it off as a charity donation.lol So it didnt cost him anything. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM, IM WARNING YOU NOW! We currently drive our other car because we can not plate the new one. We wrote in big white shoe polish, "DO NOT BUY FROM GLADSTONE DODGE" on the back window as our advertisement. Hopefully this hurts their sales more than the $1400 more they should of gave us for there unhonesty.

I bought a Charger from Gladstone Dodge on Nov. 3, 2012 and after having the vehicle for a couple of weeks, found about 7 things wrong with it. I took it in the Monday before Thanksgiving thinking it would be in and out. Wrong, I picked it up that Wednesday as I was leaving town and wanted to drive my car, I returned it to the service department the following Monday and finally picked my car up on December 19th. The two biggest issues were a sunroof that would not open, and my hard drive on the stereo that did not work properly. I was told after 2 weeks that my car was done so went to pick it up only to find out that in fact it was not so that was my 4th trip. My 5th trip was to return the loaner vehicle that I was allowed to drive for a few days, and today was my 6th trip. I went to pick up my car today because was told yesterday it was COMPLETE. I ended up having to wait about an hour once I got there to pick it up because someone forgot to pull the mileage off the odometer and a few other things so I could go get it tagged. It seems to me that Gladstone Dodge service department can only focus on one task at a time, while I waited 3 weeks to get the new frame for the sunroof, apparently all work was halted on my car because after they got the sunroof fixed, I had to wait an additional week for a hard drive to come in because apparently someone cancelled the order. How is it that there is a work order written up on a vehicle yet for 3 weeks it sits and not one person realized that the hard drive was never replaced, much less received. After leaving the car lot I discovered that the auto on my headlights does not work, which is something new because before I took it in the headlights did come on when I started my car. I think I will cut my loses and take my car to another dodge dealership to have them troubleshoot this problem as I do not have the time nor the patience to let them have my car for who knows how long. To top it all of, today, 16 days after my 30 day tag expired I went to tag my vehicle, and while the sales agreement was that they would pay my sales taxes, I ended up having to pick up an additional $167.00 because they figured the tax rate wrong. To sum up my thoughts on the service department at Gladstone Dodge let me just say that I will not be taking my car back to them for so much as an oil change. In and out in an hour, HA!!! Maybe at another service department, but at Gladstone Dodge who knows how many days it's liable to take.

30 days after purchasing a 2010 Ram 1/2 ton 4x4 from Gladstone dodge I hit a deer. I was told by the body shop that this repair was "1800-2400 dollars worth of parts plus labor" and two weeks. 30 days later I am told that it could take 1 or 2 more months to get the parts to fix. When I offered to purchase another vehicle they offered $6500 dollars less than I paid for a vehicle that has been in the shop more than my driveway...3800 Miles = $6500??? This is my fourth vehicle in the last four years from Gladstone Dodge so if you think you will be better off GOOD LUCK!

Gladstone Dodge is correct in their response to my 11/7/12 review when they say the "first accident" was "not severe" enough to total my new van; especially since the inattentive driver only scraped the front wheel and creased the door and fender. My insurance company request for a "new fender" was hardly an attempt "to have the vehicle totaled" as they absurdly assert. The new fender had preliminary insurance approval pending a supplement request from Gladstone Dodge. Their body shop manager's 4/28/11 email says his honest mistake with the supplement request caused my insurance company to decline my request for a new fender: "I double checked my supplement request...and I did forget to put the fender down. I am truly sorry.... (I) take full responsibility." But, after Gladstone Dodge's body shop tech sprayed primer all over the dash, windshield and door jamb; and smeared grease on both sun visors; and after Gladstone Dodge's regular detailer contaminated the interior and discolored the overhead DVD console with full-strength, concentrated commercial cleaner to remove the primer spray damage caused by their body shop tech; and after Gladstone Dodge's second detailer was hired to clean up their regular detailer's mess damaged the clear coat and body side moldings with a power buffer; and after Gladstone Dodge's Service Center damaged the headliner while replacing the discolored console damaged by their regular detailer; and after our insurance company determined they could not fix all the related damages without major repair work, that was when the damage was so "severe" that our insurance company "totaled" our new van. Gladstone Dodge says they "accept responsibility for (their) failures" and "always work for resonable (sic) resolution to (a) problem," yet after their shop extensively damaged our new van, they only offered us low-end trade-in value, while car experts say the "reasonable resolution" when a dealer damages your vehicle is to pay "blue-book retail value." Their GM invited us to discuss a "happy medium to get (us) a new van," but then despite their pledge of "NO REASONABLE OFFER REFUSED," he refused to negotiate or discuss our offer to trade at private party retail, even pay extra, refinance and split the missing options costs. Incredibly, I was told: "If you wouldn't have gotten into an accident in the first place, none of this would have happened." The Gladstone Dodge Body Shop Manager asked me for suggestions on detailers to try and clean up their detailer's greasy, mildewed mess. I asked another detailer for advice and forwarded it to him, and he said, "We might as well try them because we don't have anybody else to try." Emails document that he contacted this detailer and made arrangements to set up a new account, the vehicle inspection, hiring and paying them. When the detailer completed their work, we immediately took our van to the body shop manager for his inspection which found the extensive clear coat and body molding damage from power buffer polishing. Regardless of who "chose" the detailer, negligence law is clear: when a repair shop fails to exercise due care, the shop is liable for the damages and consequences from those damages. In their words: "If you wouldn't have damaged our new van in the first place, none of this would have happened." Had Gladstone Dodge fully "accept(ed) responsibility for (their) failures," truly worked for a "reasonable resolution," kept their written promise to negotiate a "happy medium to get (us) a new van," and shown they really do "value (us as) customers," we wouldn't have lost our 16-month investment and our new van to the salvage auction. That would have left us in the position to replace our '94 T

The 10/28/11 Gladstone Dodge Dealer Response to a positive review, says "...Most often all we here (sic) are the problems. We work extremely hard on customer service...it's nice to know we did it right." We also complimented Gladstone Dodge in our 11/1/10 email to their GM and our salesman to let them know "how pleased we (were) for...putting us in the vehicle of our dreams!" Unfortunately, they also turned the "vehicle of our dreams" into our worst nightmare. Here is the abbreviated history of our year-long ordeal.8/23/10: Purchased new 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Crew.3/19/11: Inattentive driver sideswipes driver door, fender and wheel.4/27/11: Gladstone Dodge Body Shop tech sprayed primer all over the dash, windshield and door jamb; smeared body compound on roof and door and grease on both sun visors; dented door sill; damaged interior and exterior paint, trim and panels on both driver side doors, mirror and front bumper; and improperly welded new door and improperly refinished new fender, which required removal, refinishing and reinstallation.5/5/11: Gladstone Dodge Sales expected us to take low-end trade-in value and a huge loss to replace our damaged new van with another 2010 van with fewer options, while nationally-known car experts say the right thing for a dealer to do when they damage a customer's vehicle is to pay the customer "blue-book retail value" for it.5/11/11: Gladstone Dodge General Manager invites us to discuss a "happy medium to get (us) a new van."5/13/11: Gladstone Dodge General Manager reneges on written invitation to discuss a "happy medium to get (us) a new van," and declares, "If you wouldn't have gotten into an accident in the first place none of this would have happened."5/23/11: Gladstone Dodge's detailer saturates our new van's interior with full-strength, concentrated commercial cleaner to remove primer spray, which leaves an acrid, greasy residue throughout the interior; plus two floor mats are lost.6/4/11: Gladstone Dodge hires second detailer to clean pungent, greasy and mildewed interior. Detailer discovers commercial cleaner discolored overhead DVD entertainment console.6/6/11: Gladstone Dodge Body Shop Manager discovers detailer's power buffer polishing severely damaged clear coat and body side molding.7/22/11: Gladstone Dodge Service Center damages headliner while replacing the discolored overhead console.8/2/11: First contact: Dodge Customer Care assigns a case number but would not assign a case manager.9/6/11: Gladstone Dodge Service Manager refuses to repair clear coat damaged by their second detailer, or replace the headliner his service department damaged.9/8/11: Second contact: Dodge Customer Care again would not assign a case manager.10/16/11: Gladstone Dodge offers compensation for headliner but not for the damaged clear coat, or a "real good deal on a new van"--which they would not do back in May despite their advertised pledge of "NO REASONABLE OFFER REFUSED."11/25/11: Third contact: Dodge Customer Care finally assigns a case manager. (Chrysler LLC acknowledges it takes three calls to trigger the assignment of a case manager.) After learning we were forced to involve our attorney, she replies brusquely, "Then we can't help you."2/27/12: Our insurance company declares our extensively damaged 2010 Grand Caravan SXT Crew a "Total Loss."2/29/12: Spurned and abandoned by Dodge and their dealer leaving us with the major loss of our new van, 16-month investment, and our trust and loyalty in Dodge, we purchase a new 2012 GMC Terrain SLT2.3/2/12: Our totaled 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT Crew with only 18,824 miles is hauled off to be auctioned as "salvage."10/19/12: Chrysler LLC Executive's Referral Group encourages us to share our Gladstone Dodge ordeal with consumer action and review venues as their dealer's treatment of us "reflects poorly" on their brand and products.

I have been searching for Tiguans for a few months now and I was called when they had one they thought I would like in. Clyde stayed the entire time even though he was off to make sure everything went smooth with financing and signing papers. The extended warranty wasn't much more which was a relief. The price was a tad bit high but they brought it down $1,000 for us. I have gotten several follow up calls to make sure I like the car and have figured everything out. I also accidently left the lights on, oops, so the next morning after I bought the car, the battery was dead. I called the dealer, an within an hr a service man was there taking my car back to replace the battery and cables. I called at 9 and by 11 I was being called to come pick up my car again. Overall, great dealer. We will definitely go there to look for our next car before anywhere else.

I visited this dealership because they had a used vehicle that I was interested in purchasing, and I thought the price was fair. I made an appointment to test drive the vehicle, indicating that I was taveling in from out of town. I arrived for my appointment and was greeted promptly by the salesman I had made the appointment with, Adam. He took me out to the lot, telling me that he had taken the car I was interested in back to be cleaned up a few hours ago and that he would go get it. He pulled up and proceeded to tell me that the detailers hadn't had a chance to get to it yet. That definitely didn't make me feel important... Additionally, having been through the test drive process a few times I asked Adam if he needed a copy of my drivers license, and he told me "no, I don't worry about all that formal stuff". Away we go on our test drive... There was an annoying beeping coming from the car, some kind of a "speed warning" that beeped every time the MPH went over 20. Adam spent a good deal of time reading the owners manual, trying to figure out how to shut the warning off, eventually I figured it out on my own. For the remained of the test drive we went through the usual small talk that sales men use to glean information... was I purchasing this car on my own, would I be trading my current vehicle in, etc. I was especially offended when we were talking about my trade in. He asked if there was any damage to the vehicle and I told him there was a little paint missing from the back bumper. He referred to this damage as a "whiskey dent", a term that I was not familiar with. He went on to explain that I whiskey dent was when "you know, you've maybe had a little too much to drink and you get behind the wheel and maybe you back up and hit something." Excuse me? This inappropriate behavior went on further when we got back to the dealership and I asked about a special feature of the car. The description stated that there was a beverage cooler in the glove box and I wanted to see if this was true. Oh yes, he tells me, and proceeds to show me how it works, "so if you want to put a bottle of water in here or a BEER or other beverage of your choice, it will keep it cool." Once again, excuse me? This guy clearly had me pegged as some kind of drunk driving lush, which couldn't be further from the truth. Once back inside, I was subjected to the hard sale, the guilt sale, etc. I told him that I had seen a lot of cars that day and needed to think over all of my options. I asked him if he was going to be working the next morning, which is when I anticipated making my decision. He told me he was, but I could tell he was put out with having to deal with me. I had told him I liked the car, I had liked the test drive, why weren't we making a deal? I can tell you the reason we didn't make the deal and it was the sales man. If that car had been on a different lot, or even if I had met with a different sales man, I might have bought that car but there was no way I was dealing with him. I bought a car from another dealer the next morning.

Hi! I'm GLTorres. I went to All American Ford in Paramus to lease a car. After sitting with Boris Valencia for a while I drove off with a new Lincoln MKZ. I was sold because he was courteous and professional. He spoke WITH ME not at me. I feel so comfortable with him and the dealership that I will go nowhere else for my next vehicle purchase.Sincerely,GLTorres

I bought this car used and was very surprised as the condition the car was presented in. It was extremely clean. Having just visited a dealer previously before Gladstone Dodge that DID NOT have the car clean. The car needed service due to a broke sway bar. I was treated professionally and the car was back in my car by the evening. I would buy from this dealer again.
