We are new to town and found Granite City Cars online. When we went in to check out a car, Randy not only helped us with the car we were initially interested in but also showed us other options that he felt might suit us. Great purchase experience! I had a sudden terminal failure of my '06 4Runner back in December and had to find something quick. Randy was very helpful, "holding" the car I wanted without deposit (though I offered) while I got my finances juggled around, working with transferring my insurance, and helping with tag transfer. They even ran a report on the Toyota I was having to replace. The car is an '09 Subaru Forester, very basic with a manual transmission - exactly what I needed. The price was fair. Detailing was extensive; the vehicle was, literally, showroom clean. As with ANY used car, there have been a few repairs/maintenance items I've had to address: timing belt (DIY), a clutch throw-out bearing, and bad tire pressure sensors. Oh well. Still, the car runs and looks great and I couldn't be much happier. Pay no attention to the lengthy negative review; Randy is *not* selling "junk" cars. Virtually all cars on "used car lots" are bought at auction. He's good at finding good ones. I'd buy another vehicle from them without reservation. Quite happy with my car and experience.

I can’t recommend this place enough! Randy and his wife are some of the nicest people I have ever met. They really care about the customer. He is a carfax dealer he knows what he’s selling and you know what you’re buying. I love my car so much and will definitely keep them in mind for future purchases!
