Get it in writing... the age old saying when it comes to car dealerships proves to be true here!! I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the honesty and integrity with Ron the salesmen that sold me my truck. He quite literally told me he is not going to live up to what was promised with my purchase. There was a violent vibration and shake in the steering wheel when traveling at highway speeds and I was promised and assured that would be taken care of before delivery of the vehicle. I traveled close to an hour to come here based off the good reviews and personal recommendations. When the vehicle was delivered, I checked with the guys again to make sure there is no shake in the steering wheel and was assured it was taken care of. I took the vehicle out for a drive and it was still there. I was not able to bring the truck back right away as I live a long distance and brought it in again when I could to fix the issue. SAME THING. Was told it was fixed and it was not. Brought the truck back a third time, SAME THING. I was told they are not willing to attempt to fix the violent shake in my truck any more and that they are not obligated and were just being nice to their customers by doing what they did. I asked if he was going to live up to his word and fix the shake that was supposed to be fixed before delivery and he said "no, I am not going to live up to my word". He recommended that the tires needed replacing, so I was knowingly sold a vehicle with bad tires, horrible place to purchase a vehicle. To top it off, he made sure I never heard the vehicle cold start as the exhaust manifold bolts were broken and had a terrible exhaust leak when cold. Ron will lie directly to you to move a vehicle off the lot.

Jason was great to work with and made the entire process simple. I provided him a very specific list of what I wanted for a vehicle. He was able to locate what I wanted at a competitive price. Will definitely work with them for future vehicle needs.

When Granite City was recommended to me by a friend, he said I’d love it - and man was he right!!! Jason was WONDERFUL - giving me several options that fit directly in my budget and we landed on a car that is way nicer than anything I could have found on my own. The entire experience was great - no pressure, no pushing, just grade A customer service. It turned buying a car back into a fun experience! I highly recommend Granite City Motor Car to anyone - and especially a woman looking to upgrade their car and have a good experience!

Bought my car there years ago and still works just as good as when I got it. The owner is really nice, staff there are hardworking people with kindness as well. Great place to go to get your car at.
