I been searching for a car for over a month. This place seems to have some quality cars at same prices of private people. Not bad for dealer. And u get a little 30 day warranty I guess.

I thought it was going to be impossible to find an affordable and reliable car in my price range until I came across Great Deal Motors. I found a used Ford Focus with low mileage almost in brand new condition exactly around my price range. Albert was honest, professional and made the process super easy. A+++++ experience. Thank you.

I had a pleasant experience buying a 2008 Prius from Albert in July 2021. To note, in general while the overall experience of buying a vehicle from Great Deal Motors was different from that off traditional dealerships, Albert still espoused the traditional salesperson qualities. I give these comments not to say this is how all of the vehicles on the lot are, but instead point out that as any salesperson would, they will still lie in a effort to make you feel better about the vehicle. 1.) Albert noted multiple times that the Prius had been inspected by a certified mechanic prior to him listing it. One could assume a certified mechanic would have noted, and recommended fixing before listing the vehicle the following issues I noted with this vehicle: To note: I've since driven the vehicle 1300 miles without any issues. So i'm not suggesting the vehicle was a lemon by any degree. A.) When I checked the oil dipstick, there was no reading of oil on it. The vehicle had been on the lot for only a few days. This indicates there were 0 to 1 quarts of oil in the system. This level held true even after driving it for 30+ minutes with the gas engine engaged. B.) I took the vehicle to a independent shop to get a pre purchase inspection. We noted that one of the tail lights was burnt out (which Albert and I noted before taking to the shop) and also that a brake light was not fully lit (ribbon was out). Fixing the brake light will cost me $80 as I have to replace the whole assembly for that (DIY). C.) The serpentine belt while functioning, would need replacing within the next couple thousand miles due to cracking. This will cost me $14 to replace myself. Other than this the vehicle was in good mechanical shape including the life of the brakes being at 65% +. When I tried to talk Albert into lowering the price on the vehicle to these issues, he repeatedly said these are routine maintenance items that I (as the buyer) am responsible for so he cannot lower the price. I did not agree with his argument here, being that if you are selling the vehicle, it should be priced at a price that would allow me to drive and have it successfully safety inspected at minimal extra cost to myself. I was able to negotiate just a small amount off the price due to these but I did not appreciate his reasoning. Moral of the story, don't be afraid to stand your ground, and assume the vehicle has NOT been inspected by a independent party. I did trade in my older vehicle, and this was easy to do with Albert. However, I will note again the salesperson qualities Albert espoused here: The trade in price on my vehicle was listed as $2,400 on KBB in the condition we mutually agreed upon. Albert said he would give me $2,200 with the reasoning that he would be auctioning off this vehicle and the fee for that is $200 (to him). This is a fantastic excuse to give to someone who is willing to accept what the salesperson says (and at the time I didn't note its absurdity nor challenge it). But if you dive into it, the trade in price is exactly what it sounds like. Its the price the dealer should pay you, nothing more or less. So moral of the story here, watch out for statements like that that sound believable to you if you are not familiar with the car buying industry/process. You may be able to shave a few dollars off after pointing out issues like I did, but don't expect much. Also, be prepared for an extra $495 in documentation fees (which Albert specified from the beginning, but that does raise the price listed online). All the points I called out here, it is important to note, are all qualities you can expect from any sales person so I am not meaning to call out Albert as straying from the norm. Further info is in the attached picture (I exceeded the character limit). Overall very happy.
