I Love my new used car. By default, I didn’t know Greenport existed until Broadway-Garage told me that a Highlander was available to test drive there. Within an hour, I found the perfect car that has exceeded my 10 point list of wants & desires. Best to email Tim with questions - very helpful father-son team.

Was interested In buying a truck from this guy. I’m about 4 hours away but didn’t mind the drive if I knew I’d be buying the truck. I inquired through the website. He called me the next day and assured me he could get me a better rate through his bank than I could through my credit union and said he would call me back the next day. I did the credit application on his website immediately following the phone call. He never called me back. I called him the next day and he said he hadn’t check to see yet because he was unsure of how the process worked for doing me title because I was out of state, and told me to find out and that he would call me back. Why didn’t he say that to begin with?! I called my DMV and I found out that it was normal title work as usual and would be no problem..you think owning a dealership he would either know this or find out. I called him to tell him this, and no answer so I sent an email. He finally sends an email several days later saying it was too much work for him to get me financing I should just go through my bank. Frustrated because I’ve already wasted enough time I told him I would do that. I called him several times to figure out final pricing for the loan and to get a purchase order, sent him several emails and even sent messages through Facebook which is where I originally saw it explaining that I was going to get a loan through my bank and having him do my title work would not be a problem for him. I even went and got approved for the loan and took the hit on my credit right after. He never replied or got back to me after all of that! Get this! 2 weeks later her sends me an email saying he’s sorry but unfortunately the Tacoma had sold. Sheeesh thanks, but why even bother emailing me back at that point! Lmao Don’t waste your time with this lazy salesman! Not only that but I found the truck on Facebook and he bought it before I did off the lady for 9k. He was asking 13k and claimed it had a new clutch. I confirmed that it was in fact the original clutch. Shady shady

Tim is caring works with you..any problems with vehicle has it fixed..warranty is a great deal get it if you purchase a car there..he takes care of everything plates reg..great service really nice guy. Happy in my 2010 Jeep Patriot..❤

Me and my husband arrived on 7/10/2021 around 10am to inquire about purchasing a Subaru the woman salesperson was busy with a family who was test driving a vehicle she was actually putting on dealer plates, so me and my husband stood by the vehicle of interest awaiting to inquire about vehicle of interest, the saleswomen finished with the people never acknowledged our presence and went into the building me and my husband stood there for a minute giving it the benefit of doubt stood there for a minute and then left.

Tim Melino, owner of Greenport Auto, is the only person I will buy a used car from again...ever. After having terrible luck trying to find a used car through private sales, and having my down payment withheld from other seedy used car dealers I finally stumbled upon Greenport Auto. Through cars.com I found a 2002 Honda Civic SI in better condition than any other one I had come across online. After emailing and speaking to Tim on the phone I decided to make the hour and a half trip north to see the car. Do not judge a book by its cover! The no frills office building is super low key, as is Tim; but everything about Tim Melino and how he treats people and does business is top tier! I was happy with the car, and terms of the sale and purchased it the following week. The car is doing great and Tim even handled a few outstanding repairs after purchase with the help of that included GWC warranty! I took the car to Honda for a recall repair and they looked over the rest of the car and gave it a clean bill of health too! Tim explained to me that he has very qualified car buyers and believes in selling good cars and taking care of his customers. I would entirely agree.In short after going through hell trying to find a used car I found someone who does business how it should be done. Tim sells quality cars at good prices and takes care of his customers. When someone can look you in the eye and shake your hand on a sale on something as important as a car and nothing feels off, then you are in good hands. That is why he has earned a customer for life. Go to Greenport, and tell Tim that Jordan with the white Civic SI sent you and you'll be well taken care of.
