Found an amazing deal online, I called the dealership and spoke to Dustin. He was very straightforward and professional . He sent me any pictures I asked for and answered any questions I had . I put a down payment and flew from Florida to Pennsylvania within 2 weeks, the car was in great condition and we filled the paperwork out faster then ever. Very smooth sales transaction with a very trustworthy family owned business . Dustin also reached out to me after purchasing the car and went above and beyond to make sure everything has met my expectations . here’s a picture of the car in the mountains of Tennessee on our first road trip . I was in need of a good used car, I came across the add for a 2011 Chevy Traverse, looked at the car and then let them know I was interested. They made the process super easy and if I could give them more stars I would. After several emails back and forth I went down to test drive the car and ultimately purchased it. Michele had all the prep work done, so it was a few signatures and explanations and in about an hour I was done. I was pre-approved, and they gave me a great price on my trade-in, this could not have been a better car buying experience. Very nice and clean dealership. I will buy my next JEEP there.Michele was so nice and everyone passing buy said HI.

I inquired over the "web" about a car listed on cars.com, especially since I am a few hours away from their location. Their internet sales agent was very prompt and courteous. The offer estimate on my trade was half what's considered typical trade value, they say do to a factory buyback and outstanding recall (which can't be performed do to lack of parts); items not Griffeth's fault.My biggest concern though, was discovered when going to their website to get more descriptive info on the car I was interested in. In addition to pictures they had a "video" which was really just a narrated slideshow of several more pictures, which obviously were taken just after they received the car. These pictures showed a car that could have been used for offroading, or worse.Based on that I decided to end my pursuit of the purchase. One would be concerned about the car's history, even though it might not show as having an accident or flood, etc. in it's carfax.

Had to drive almost 6 hours for this truck, but well worth it. Checked out many other trucks, and dealers, but there was always something that I didn't like. I was going to sell my truck outright first, but Caleb said send him some info, and pics. We agreed on a trade in price, and I drove up to Pa. Everything went better than expected. Clean dealership, well maintained trucks, professional service, the truck just as described. Caleb even cleaned the snow off the truck to send me extra pics that I asked for, so that I had all the info before the trip. He even put the truck inside the showroom the day before, so I could check it out, without getting wet in the snow. This is a small family owned dealership, that has been in business a long time, and it shows. I much prefer this to the bigger ones that don't even know what truck that you are interested in. I'm a small business owner from Delaware, and I read all the reviews, and you can't make everyone happy, but they really try very hard. Some people just have unreal expectations. When I need another truck Caleb will be my first call. Thanks Joseph

It is sad to see the few bad reviews here about griffith auto sales. I did not notice any of the sketchy tactics that people claim, only a couple really nice guys who were straight forward and willing to help in any way possible. They are very knowledgeable on trucks which is awesome because not many places are. The whole process from looking at the truck to doing paperwork and test driving the vehicle all went smooth. They have personalities and can keep a conversation with you and don't seem to just want your money and get you out the door as fast as possible. I would definitely look to them first for abother truck in the future before looking elsewhere.

Just read the reviews on this site. Appears to be a recurring theme about trustworthiness. Read one of their rebuttals to their reviews. Unbelievable ... Reviewer had the same feelings of their being untrustworthy, as I did. I've bought autos from them before (two so-so deals, no service). They have sealed their fate with me. I won't ever walk into their premises again. I do plan to get my family, friends and multitudes of co-workers the advertisement they deserve. This is step one.

My truck purchase at Griffith Auto Sales was by far the best auto buying experience I have ever had.. They advertise that they are family owned and operated business... And that is exactly what they are. Not only did I get an awesome truck, I made some new friends. My two sons were with me for the purchase and made the comment Dad, that place was awesome, It was like we went to one of your buddies garages to visit and ended up buying a truck from them. For a 15 and 16 year old to notice how we were treated that tells you something

Purchased 2013 silverado ltz. Lived about 3.5 hrs away and upon arrival truck was detailed and ready to go ,Paperwork was quick. Was in and out in 30 mins. Easiest experience I've had buying a vehicle. Everyone was very nice and seemed like a great family business. Have a very nice selection of newer vehicles and prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend them and when I'm looking for another vehicle I will definitely try to do business with Griffith again.

So here's the deal....Called about a truck they were selling. Spoke to Caleb, he gave me a ton of information on the truck, even went out and got engine hours for me. I sent him pics of my trade, he gave me a fair value, but said, "when you get here and I see it, maybe I can give you a little more." (Ya Right, I thought) I also used them to finance the truck...got me the lowest rate around, cheaper than I had from my local banks: 3.12% on a 60 month buy, with 117,xxx miles on the truck...ya, that's pretty low. Drove the 5 HOURS to finish the deal, here's how it went: Caleb met me and showed me the truck, he looked over my trade. I drove the truck (loved it). We discussed pricing a bit more, standing at the truck. Then I noticed a small coolant leak from the radiator (common for these trucks). When I showed him, he said that he wishes he saw it cause he would have had it fixed before I got there. These were the options now: do not buy yet, and let him fix it OR reduce price so that I could get it fixed at home. I chose to reduce the price and get it fixed at home. He allowed $400 MORE than the price my dealer gave me to fix it....dealer told me $900, Caleb took $1,300 off, for the inconvenience (which was really fair). During conversation, he stated that all their vehicles come with a warranty (think it was 3 months/ 4,500 miles, not sure) BUT that this one didn't because it had some aftermarket "Stuff" on it and the warranty company would not approve it. I said, "OK, so what happens if I get home and in a week or so, something breaks, I mean something major? I am pretty much out of luck, right?" Caleb replied, "If something breaks that's big, let me know and I will help you out." (Once again, I thought, ya right). So, we get back to negotiating, talking and overall me just thinking the whole deal over. During the process, he says, "oh, and by the way, I'm giving you a couple hundred more for your trade, like I said on the phone, once I see it maybe I could do a little more." I stood there with my mouth open. I said, "sure thing, thanks, I really appreciate you doing that." We finalize the deal, I had to put down less cash than I had anticipated because of his help...all was good with the world. Papers signed, I drive home. 2 Weeks later, High Pressure Fuel Pump goes out (Diesel Engine). Best quote to fix: $2,400. I call Caleb and tell him what happened. He says give a few minutes and I'll call you back. He calls back after about 15 minutes and says he called a shop near him who would do it for about $2,400. I said, OK thanks, but I found a place closer to me that will do the same price. Then I ask him, "Is there any way you could help me out with this?" (remembering what he said when I bought the truck, "If something breaks that's big, let me know and I'll help you out.") He says without hesitation, "Sure." I ask him how much he can help. He says, "how about we split it 50/50"? My reply was, "that's fair, thank you for keeping your word." (Remember, he didn't have to do this, he could have said, "read your paperwork, it says, "As Is"...sorry, and he would have been totally within his rights). But he didn't, he did what he said he would on more than one occasion. He called the shop when the truck was done and paid them immediately via credit card, didn't make me pay it first and then reimburse me. All I have to say at the end of this all is simple: Honest, Truthful and just Darn Refreshing! Good to know some people still value hand shakes and realize that at the end of the day all you really have is your word. Thanks to Caleb and the whole team at Griffith Auto Sales....God Bless!

Some people tend to think a used vehicle is new that is not true. Anyone can pick a part a used truck or car. Great dealership.

10 yr old truck with 23k on it...said it was flawless-never sat in back seat-engine perfect-body perfect-everything you'd expect to hear about a 23k mile truck...OPPOSITE!!! seats looked like either hauled sharp metal scaffolding or a tiger in the seats-dents on body-body molding bubbling up-insulation stuff half missing and the rest dangling in the engine bay-engine extremely rusted-steering wheel shaking on test drive(needs front end work) new almost new tires on a truck with only 23k??WHY??dash panels under the steering wheel pushed out about 3/4 inch couldn't get it to budge- interior light lenses missing and just laying on the floor board-looks like the same tiger chewed on the steering wheel...we drove a 7 hour trip to take this truck home just to turn around and leave...asked the guy to come and look at what we had issues with and he just said "I BELIEVE YOU" and would not come out to look at the vehicle...THESE GUYS ARE TERRIBLE....called the next day inquiring about the truck Acting like a new customer)-talked to the same guy- he still said this was a perfect truck asked him about all the areas that we told him about...lied again... Total scumbags...also had talked to the son...same lies...they brag about a 4 generation business...hopefully you are not a victim of these guys or the fifth generation of crooks to come along

Called this dealership about a used truck. The gentleman was extremely unhelpful and every question I had he did not want to be bothered with it. I live about an hour from the store so I wanted as much information as possible, of which he gave me none. When I asked if he had a CarFax or anything similar for it he said that those are pointless. When I asked if he could get one because I wanted to make sure it had a clean history he said it was a 50/50 shot of it having been in an accident. Completely unhelpful, not sure how these people are still in business if they treat everyone like this.

I bought a Chevy HHR off of them yesterday. When I got it home I noticed the windshield wipers were split on the front and back windows. The ad said it had floor mats. When I drove it for a test drive there were floor mats when I went to pick the car up it had no floor mats. I am calling them today about all of this. Other than these issues the car is great. They also did not explain to me about were to turn on the lights or how to operate any of the other accessories it came with. I'll have to read the users manual I guess.

Absolutely the most unprofessional dealership to work with. Don't expect any courtesy from their staff. Obviously they have no respect in dealing with customers except one word responses with their emails. I would highly not recommend working with this dealership. Plenty of dealerships other than Griffith that will value your business.
