I bought a used Toyota Sequoia last month (July) from Mark Combs. He was very helpful and gave me a very good deal on my trade in and the sequoia in question. Lloyd was very helpful in the transaction at the dealership as well as the finance manager. Unfortunately I was in such a hurry that afternoon to meet my family for a dinner that I forgot some of the paperwork copies, however Richard at the dealership was wonderful and very helpful getting them to me. 19 Jul 2021, went and got my first service done on my new 2021 Sierra. Everything went great! Joseph did a great job keeping me informed of my status and they took care of a soft ware update. Always a great experience at Gunn GMC. 19 March 2021, this our 3rd truck we’ve purchased at Gunn GMC and can’t say enough about how great these guys are. Buying was easy and convenient. MJ did an amazing job taking care of us from start to finish. They gave me a heck of a deal on my trade in and Piotr took excellent care of our financing and did a great job in explaining our options and getting us a great rate. Highly recommend Gunn GMC! 31 Dec 2018 Great experience, Marco did a great job in getting me the truck I wanted and Stephen Moore gave me top $ for my trade in. All around great experience!!! My experience was excellent. From about a minute into my phone call with Mark Combs (my Sales Associate) I just had a feeling this was going to be a good transaction. I sent them pictures of my truck and I thought they were very fair on my trade-in value. Mark and I agreed to my deal over the phone as I live 280 miles from San Antonio. It was all very straightforward. When I got to the dealership to pick up my truck everything was just as we had agreed to over the phone with no hidden surprises. Working with "Polish" Peter for the financing couldn't have been any better. He really went the extra mile to make sure I received all the rebates I was entitled to and the best interest rate possible. I just can't say enough good things about the way I was treated by Mark and Peter. I would not hesitate to recommend Gunn Buick GMC to anyone. Thanks so much.

Our experience with Gunn GMC was undoubtedly the best experience we have had with any dealership in the past including dealers in TX, DE, HI, VA, NC, and MI (yes we are retired Military). We loved the fact that the Gunn sales staff are on salary and not on commission. Knowing this put us at ease because the sales personnel weren’t trying to just sell, sell, sell. Josh and Ken our sales agents were very friendly and we felt no pressure from them to purchase a vehicle. Peter in Financing was also very professional, explained everything in great detail, and also did not pressure us to buy any additional services. All in all, this was a very pleasant buying experience from beginning to end and in the end, we purchased a truck that we loved, a Sierra 2500 AT4 Diesel, which we will enjoy for many years to come. We will recommend this dealership to our friends.

Made an appointment with Matt Flack over the phone. He was very friendly in person and very knowledgeable regarding my truck. I was updated regularly regarding my repair as parts were not locally available "special order" however gunn did provide me with a loaner vehicle. Upon pick up Matt was once again very friendly however he was the only person on the service drive so I did have to wait longer than id like to get my truck as there was quite a few other customers before me. Overall I had a great experience but I do think the staffing is short in the service department (only 4 people for an entire dealership?)... My truck was repaired correctly and although short handed the customer service provided was excellent. thanks gunn and thank you mr flack

I had already gone to Ancira GMC, and Powell-Watson GMC in Laredo before going to Gunn GMC. Both dealerships telling me that it was impossible to receive any discounts more than a couple of thousand dollars. Plus Powell-Watson low balled me on my trade from the N.A.D.A. book. I then left and went to Cavenders GMC on N. 281 Hwy. I found a truck close to what I wanted, but they low balled my trade and were not wanting to offer any discounts. I told them I would not be able to do business with them. While I was there Ron Sharif called and said He had the truck I wanted and to please come back. He was on his day off but put me in contact with Ken Torrez. I went back to Gunn and Ken gave me other options to help me in the selection. Ken had very wide knowledge of the product and had immediate answers for all my questions. Finding a iridium metallic colored Denali with all the equipment I wanted, Ken brought it from the storage lot. It was beautiful. My search was over. Being a 100% disabled Veteran with back problems, the sales people made everything very easy for me, where I did not have to do a lot of walking. Everything was brought to me. Everyone was offering me help or drinks. The sales staff found many discounts, some I had no knowledge of, which brought the price and payment down to where it was very reasonable and fit in to my budget. They were all very pleasant even when my PTSD came out, they kept calm. I got embarrassed once when my teeth came out over the price. They then came out with another option for a discount. Making the deal, I went to finance where it was quick and painless. My day of truck shopping was all day. This is the only problem I had. By the time I finished, I was completely exhausted and had to get dinner and a motel room, because Laredo, Tx was too far to drive back to. I want to thank everyone at Gunn for putting up with me and for the service of the sales and finance dept. Without the internet dept., I would have never gone to Gunn. Thanks especially to Ken Torrez and Ron Sharif for the professional treatment they both gave me. Ya'll are the best!!!!!

I have purchased with Gunn GMC previously, but my latest experience simply blew me away. My experience began on a high note when I received top dollar for my trade in. My expertly informed sales consultant, Ron Sharif, patiently helped me identify my top two vehicle choices, answering all questions on the spot. He, along with the friendly staff, guided me through the process to purchase my new GMC Acadia. Although the choice between the two vehicles was hard, I left as a completely satisfied Gunn customer. Ron contacted me the next day to see how I was enjoying my new car. I hesitated admiting I had wished I had purchased the Buick Enclave instead. Ron immediately reminded me of the 48-hour return policy I had previously chuckled at...who actually does that?? His genuine concern to get me in the vehicle I would be happy with was the highlight of my experience. I returned to the dealership and marveled over their dedication and patience for me, my experience, and my peace of mind with the vehicle I ultimately decided to purchase. Please understand I rely on a products name for reliability and satisfaction.Nowadays the prices of new trucks are higher and that a wrapped warranty is great coverage,or so I thought.I own a 2012 texas edition gmc 4 door truck,it runs great!Something as simple as a door handle is prompting me to write this review,I understand that GMC dealerships dont underwrite these wrapped warranties although the dealerships make them available.Due to a broken off interior, drivers side door knob I was made aware that the WRAPPED WARRANTYdoes not cover trim items....okay , well 6 months later ,now the Exterior drivers side door handle has broken ,of course the Good LORD has gifted me to replace both of these items myself,Anyhow Im asking the dealership here in selma to sell products that are reliable and products that bring satisfaction,thank you guys ,you do good work, keep it up.All of us need to hear that from time to time

Overall, had a pleasant experience. Salesman (Ken) was really nice, down to earth and didn't hassle. Marty Graham was a little rough around the edges but got the deal done. The finance manager was extremely cordial and knowledgeable and was able to get me a good rate. The only downsides of the experience was the length of time it took (literally all day) to get finished with all the paperwork. Also, there weren't any free snacks available such as fruit or popcorn. Didn't check or ask but it would be nice to offer WiFi, computer stations for customer use, and/or a kids only area with games and cartoons. Overall a good experience, however I don't really care for the "no haggle" policy. I felt as though there was something left on the table. It wasn't clear from looking at the orange sticker in the window that the one price was inclusive of rebates already. When the sales manager was going through the numbers, it seemed a little misleading because he added up to subtract back down to the one true price. No haggle actually has a somewhat negative connotation for me (means no negotiation). Customers actually feel good about their purchase if they feel they were able to get a "win" even if it's not in their best interest in my opinion. It's psychological.Clean facilities. Organized sales process.

A major problem was discovered during a routine oil change and they immediately ordered the part, got it in and when it was not going to be completed before the week end, they loan me a vehicle to use over the week end and did outstanding work. My hat is off to them.

I bought a Buick Enclave in January of 2013 and had a great experience. I was in a car accident in September 2013 which totaled my car. I knew from the wonderful experience that I had last time that I would buy my next car from Gunn. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Mr. T Payne. He listened to exactly what I wanted and helped me find my new car. It was a great experience and everyone was so helpful. Art with finance was so great also helping me to finalize all the paperwork. I just truly appreciate the customer service that I received. In the whirl wind of trying to get tasks done after the accident and with school and moving, Mr. Payne and the rest of the staff helped me out so much and made the process simple and easy. I really truly thank you all!

The service dept is not what I expected if it wasnt under warranty I would never go back. They do not listen and then say they fixed it I have had my truck for 5 weeks and it has been in the shop 4 of those weeks.

Greg Williams was our service advisor and he did a great job. We have been happy with the work done on our truck. He made sure that we had a car to use doing the completion of our service. All in all the new Gunn is a beautiful place to do buisness and with a good service advisor it can't be beat.

I came in to get an annual state inspection of my vehicle. I did not have a copy of a current insurance card. The gentleman assisting me, Mr. Lingerfelt, contacted my insurance company and they emailed a copy of my insurance card to him. He also printed a copy and put it in my glovebox so I'd have a copy in my car. Mr. Lingerfelt went above and beyond the call of duty. thank you.

Responding to a GMC email pertaining to our 2010 Terrain and a necessary repair/replacement issue, we dropped our vehicle off at Gunn Buick-GMC for an expected 1-2 day turnaround. On the second day we learned there were other issues needing repair and several more days would be needed to complete the repairs. I explained to Greg Williams, the Service Assistant taking care of us, that we needed the car the next day as we were driving to Kansas to visit our son and family stationed at Fort Riley, and to babysit our grandkids while 'mom & dad' took an extended weekend to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Greg told us Gunn would gladly loan us a vehicle to use for our trip, and we departed early the next morning in a loaned Terrain. We returned home one week later to find our Terrain fixed and ready to go. All transactions during this entire process went smoothly and stress-free, thanks to Greg's friendly and professional attitude and actions. It's this kind of service that keeps us coming to Gunn Buick for the past 15+ years.

Went thru the USAA car buying service. Amador was my salesman and contacted me. He made sure what I was getting was what I wanted. He showed me how to operate the features of my car. He was great! I had a wonderful experience. I just relocated to Texas and had to get a vehicle right away. I spoke with Ken Schrader on the phone and threw emails multiple times because I was in the field. When I became available he set up an appointment with me the next day and I bought my New GMC Sierra 1500 SLT and couldn't be happier with my purchase. In my previous review I rated the service dept with 1 star. After talking with The GM of the dealership I rate this dealership as a best in lass service location. Phil listened to my concerns and offered a solution that ultimately resolved all concerns that I previously had. I will do business with Gunn GMC in the future and I recommend this dealership with confidence. Thank you Phil for taking time to help resolve all my concerns.

my daughter works at the GM call center in Austin so we could buy a GMC at any dealer for a fixed price, the vehicle I wanted was at Covert but once I mentioned that I was tradding in a 2013 Explorer with 8000 miles they lost interest, I ended up buying a Yukon instead of an Acadia and I love it, Luis asked me what I wanted on my next vehicle and showed me a car I was not considering at all, I'm glad I stopped by Gunn, great customer service, well trained sales staff, friendly managers. we loved our salesman Luis Bragagnini I only wanted to get my vehicle appraised and ended up buying on the spot without feeling pressured.

By far this has been the very worst GM dealership experience I have ever encountered. I only gave one star so I could post this review! I took my 2008 Denali in to have the dash replaced. The service manager (Nieves Zapata) quoted me a price of $952.84 and I agreed to have the repair done. When I left the truck with the service department everything worked in the truck including the radio/nav system. After installing the dash the dealership called to inform me that they were having some issues with the radio, Nieves mentioned an aftermarket part that may have been the cause of the mishap. (Blaming something else right away). The dealership worked on my truck (specifically the radio for 4 days) and could not resolve the issue. I received a call today 8-14-2013 from Nieves at 4pm, he said It would cost $1500.00 to resolve the radio issue. (Keep in mind the radio worked perfectly when I left the truck there. So I drove to the dealership again to try and resolve the radio issue. The service director adds nothing to help with the radio issue that they created. Nieves Zapata kept telling me that my truck is used (insinuating that the issue is insignificant since my truck is used) when I pointed out some other damage that someone at the dealership caused he laughed at me and said "oh come on" and laughed some more. I am not sure what level of professionalism he thought he was displaying. (I was offended to say the least) I called the GM ( Phil Kandera) of the dealership and left a message with details about my concerns and of course I have not received a call back as of closing today 8-14-2013. By far this has been the very worst GM dealership experience I have ever encountered. I have always practiced full and fair disclosure; this dealership should start teaching their employees this practice right away. If they would have informed me that my radio may not ever work again after their GM certified technicians performed work on my truck I would have left and gone to Cavender GMC. Did I say? - By far this has been the very worst GM dealership experience I have ever encountered. Nieves Zapata is the worst service manager I have ever met in all my years of owning GM automobiles. POOR Management and very poor customer service coupled with a very low level of professionalism. So, I will pick up my truck tomorrow without a working radio, I hope everything else works. I'm still in shock over the way Nieves treated me and the fact that my truck is being returned to me in worse condition then the day I left it with GUNN GMC. UPDATE-----8/15/2013 I spent 30 min online researching the aftermarket harness that was on my truck radio. I contacted tech support and they informed me that if the harness is disconnected the radio returns to factory operation. After I explained what the dealership did to my truck the only explanation is that the GM Tech grounded out my radio and cooked it. Therefore it will never work again. How is that my responsibility? It seems pretty simple to me; I dropped of my truck with a working radio and I should pick up my truck with a properly working radio. I called the General Manager (Phil Kandera) again this morn at 10:34am and left another message. Phil Kandera called me back today 2:34 pm, thank you Phil and look forward to speaking with you.

Great experience, One Simple Price really made things easy. Gunn's walk out price was $2000 lower than another dealer's lowest walk out price. Gunn does not play any games when it comes to trade in value, trade in value was straight forward and fair.

I had made an appointment for 1:00 for an oil change, tire rotation, and 27-point inspection. I got there about 20 minutes early and yet, my car was taken right away. Within an hour and 20 minutes, my car was finished. I spoke with the technician, unfortunately I did not get his name, and asked a couple of questions. He answered them completely and to the point that I could understand "mechanical" stuff. The only negative about my experience is that my appointment was not registered in "the log" and so therefore, the individual who helped me had no record of my call.

I went to the dealership for service on my Envlave in JAN13 when the check Engine light came on. After the first week of waiting for a response on what the problem was they informed me that I needed transmission and engine work done. I was told that to rebuild the transmission it would be 7 hours of labor. I was also told that the engine work that I needed would require 6 hours of labor. My extended warrenty company would not pay for more than $3000 of the $6000 of work for this claim to include the rental car they were suppose to cover. I informed the Service department of this and requested a Loaner Vehicle but was told that none were available. After five weekes of calling and getting excuses of we got the wrong part or I cant get the computer system to work they allowed me to use of of their Loaner Enclaves. When I recieved the call that my Enclave was ready I went to pick it up that evening. After all the paper work was dont and I gave them the 3000 out of my pocket my son and I start to drive out of the lot when I noticed that there was a large Crack in the windshield. I Backed the car up to the service department and pointed the crack to the maneger there and he told me that it wa my fault but he would speak to the management department and someone would call me the next day. That day came and went on on the following day I called to speak with the Service Manager but wa informed that he was out on Vacation and no one could help me but him so I waited till he returned the next week. I still did not hear anything so I call GM who informed me that I would have to deal with the dealer to fix the issues with the car. ( They were able to turn the check engine light off but the problems with the car are worse) When I took the car back into the Service department I was told that I would have to wait till the next week and I needed to make a appointment for my car which I did. I took the car to them at said appointment time and about noon I recieved a call informing me that the issue with the car was the battery which they would be happy to replace for me if I paid $206. I told them that I would be happy to come and get my car take it to Wal Mart and install the battery myself. When I got to the dealership after work that evening I spoke with the service manager who informed me that it was the Battery that was the problem and as far as the window I would have to take care of that on my own. Even if it was caused by them It is the customer responsibility to take care of it. He informed me that if they got in a accident wile test driving a car after repairs it is the customer who will have to take care of repairs either out of pocket or with their insurance company. I will never use this company again nor will i ever purchase another GM product as I do not agree with their treatment of the customer.

Great customer service and an all-around great team to work with! Due to my work schedule, I could not finalize the paperwork until after 7pm. The whole team of Amador with Sales, Jerry in Finance, and Richard the GM were very accommodating and truly pleasant to work with and did not act inconvenienced in any way despite the late hour. I would definitely recommend visiting Gunn first when looking for a vehicle.

I came in to have my vehicle serviced after receiving a promotional offer for a 10.00 rebate, with a 39.95 lube, oil & filter change/4 tire rotation/27 multi point inspection. But allow me to back this story up. When I initially called in to 'schedule' an appt, I spoke with a gentleman named Dan? I think. I explained the coupon I had & wanted to schedule an appt for service. I was told that a new computer system was being installed and although he did not have access to a PC at that time, he gave me an appt date/time and said it would be entered later once the system was available. Needless to say, no appt could be found for me when I arrived on my scheduled date/time. I handed the service mgr my promotional coupon and went to the waiting area. I had been the 2nd customer to arrive that morning, but customers whom arrived after me seemed to have their vehicle serviced before mine. I paid for the service rendered and was given a form to take with me & fill out in order to take advantage of the 10.00 rebate. I called today to check on the status of the rebate. I was told the rebate processing had been on hold pending receipt of add'l information. I was then told a call had been placed to Gunn GMC Service Dept several weeks ago and had yet to be returned. According to the rep at the rebate center, they needed to know if the tire rotation had been performed because based on the receipt I mailed in, it appears it had not. I then called Gunn Service Ctr today and spoke with Dave. He informed me the records show no tire rotation was done, thus disqualifying me for the 10.00 rebate. PLEASE TELL ME WHY NOT!!!! If I had you a promotion coupon, why then would all of the required services to qualify for that offer not be performed? This is totally ludacris and unacceptable. I most definitely could have (and will from this date forward) taken my business elsewhere and had a standard oil change done for less money. I can only suggest Gunn GMC inform customers that although they are presenting Gunn GMC with a promotional offer, all services contingent on that offer are NOT going to be performed.

I took my new car to gunn to fix two problems and for one recall. the recall was done, and the rattle appears to be fixed. the steering wheel is off center( when going straight down the road, the wheel is slightly toward the left turn side, and this was verified by the service writer on a test drive. The cechanic drove it and said to me and the service writer that " I acan't find anything wrong with the steering". At that time the service writer and myself both showed him the problem.Then he drove the car again and put it on the rack and said that there are no specifications for the veranmo, because it is too new. The service writer advised me that the manager would contact GM to find out about the specifications and get back to me. I'm veryi dissappointed that the dealer had excuses instead of solutions for my problem. If the service techs had as much enthusiasm as that of the sales dept. they would be a lot busier. So I still have my problem, and no solution for it. Then to top it off the dealership did not recorc the milage that they put on my car, on the invoice, only the milage that was on the vehicle when I brought it in there, for both in and out. I checked it when I got into the vehicle and they had put eight miles on it trying to find a reason to not fix my vehicle. The service writer was very apologetic, but caught in the middle, trying to sitck up for the company and at the same time look out for the best interest of the customer.

Great experience with Gunn. This was a different car buying experience than what I was used to as we handled almost everything via emails. The only time we went to the dealer location was to test drive and sign the final paperwork. I enjoyed handling the deal remotely since we did not have to take time to make phone calls or go into the dealership often. We found that the price was really competitive as well. The staff was very friendly and I would recommend Gunn to anyone who wants a stress free buying experience.

Drove from Austin based on verbal deal to find out it changed once I got there. Salesman yelled at me, talked over me. It was awful experience.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT WORKS SOMETIMES AND MOST OF THE TIME IT DOES NOT WORK. I WOULD SAY 90 PERCENT OF THE TIME THERE IS A PROBLEM TO OPEN ANY DOOR. THE ONLY DOOR THAT WORKS WELL IS THE DRIVERS SIDE.3.ON 11 JANUARY 2011 I REPORTED THE ABOVE PROBLEM TO THE DEALER. THE DEALER FOUND SEVERAL ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS AND TEMPORARILY CORRECTED IT. My individual experiences with each of the employees at this dealership was wonderful. Each went out of his way to make our experience a good one. Joe Roman was especially helpful, even when other depts. dropped the ball, he did what was necessary to make things happen. The biggest problem I encountered was the line of communication between the employees. The service manager, parts manager, salesmen,& sales manager, didn't seem to know what each had said, or had going on. Example: it took a week for me to get state required mudflaps and temporary plates on my dually, after It had been through make-ready, and sat at the dealership for 4 days having accessories installed.That being said, These guys are all great, and i'd probably shop here again. The best buying experience i've had since my '94 Saturn.

After a long week of internet shopping and driving all over town on a rental looking for a new/used vehicle I found a gem on the internet under Cars.com and my vehicle that I wanted was advertised at this dealership and a great price so being pessimistic I decided to print the ad take it to the dealer and Joseph and his internet manager could not have been any more pleasant to work with I had a hassle free no haggle experience as they advertise. Only thing I will mention is to watch out for the finance department people at any dealership they will pressure you to purchase warranties from their lending sources and a ridiciously inflated price get your at your local credit union separately you will be able to sleep well at night knowlingly you made a sound purchase.

The sales team was extremely responsive to my questions on an internet query. They provided me the information I needed to make a decision and compare with the products offered by competitors. They listened, a key element of any sales process, and made an excellent effort to meet my needs, not theirs. The closing process went well and the Jerry Martinez was also extremely helpful and patient with all my questions. I would recommend anyone to include these folks on their list.I had all the information I needed, before I walked into the dealership.

We did all our purchasing via the Internet since we knew what vehicle we wanted and all the features we wanted. Gunn Buick-GMC was very responsive to my request for quote submitted by the Internet, and worked diligently to locate and secure the vehicle we wanted, even though it did not exist within their inventory. The Gunn Buick-GMC sales representative was always easily accessible via e-mail and phone and always responded promptly to our e-mail and phone enquireies. The price quoted by Gunn Buick-GMC for our new vehicle was the lowest of three quotes I received, and was several hundred dollars below the amount that Edmunds listed as being the True Market Value in our region. Gunn Buick-GMC also offered us a very attractive price for our trade-in vehicle. The trade-in price they offered for our used vehicle was nearly $600 above the amount that Edmunds listed as being the trade-in True Market Value. When we went to the dealer to finalize the deal, there were no high-pressure sales tactics to buy extras and add-ons.The only negatives about our dealings with Gunn Buick-GMC were that on the day of our visit to finalize the deal: 1)our new vehicle had not been delivered to their dealership as promised, 2) had not been prepared for our receipt, and 3) we spent far longer at the dealership than expected and could not complete all the paperwork due to problems with their computer system. However, Gunn Buick-GMC gave us a loaner vehicle to use to replace our trade-in vehicle, and delivered our new vehicle to our home the following day (a distance of some 80 miles from the dealership) where we completed all the paperwork. The delivery process and instructions that we received were very thorough, and the sales representative fully addressed all our questions concerning the new vehicle.
