I enjoyed my experience at Gurley Leep. The sales representative was quite accommodating and made sure to provide me with all the options available. As a first time purchaser of a car, I was happy with it. I had gone to several other dealerships and this was by far the best experience I have had.

I bought a used car from Gurley Leep Hyundai my Senior year of college. After having the car for about a year, I started experiencing MAJOR engine issues. One repair alone was $800. I called Gurley Leep and asked them if there was something they could do to help with the remaining issues because I hadn't had the car that long; I felt they sold me a "bad" car. They laughed at my request. I couldn't manage the cost of repairs, so I decided to trade in the car at a different local dealership to see what else I could get. That is when I found out I had been duped. The car they sold me was a salvage title car (undisclosed by the salesman or anyone else at the dealership). For those of you who don't know, this means the car was previously in a serious accident that damaged the structural integrity and safety of the car. Additionally, this meant the resale value was pretty much nothing... WAY below what it could have been, had the car not been a salvage title. (I was not given any sort of discount when I bought this salvage title car by the way.)After some intimidating push back, they "righted my wrong" by paying off the rest of my previous car loan and helping me into a lease. I was happy with this trade off, until I found they leased the car to me without making me aware that it didn't come with a spare tire or a spare tire kit; it only came with a can of fix-a-flat. (I didn't realize this until I got a flat tire). The fix-a-flat didn't work so I was stranded and had to miss a half day of work. I called in about this, and no one really seemed to care. They said I could pay an additional $300+ for a new spare kit. Overall, I learned an important lesson when buying a car; DO YOUR RESEARCH! Know who you are dealing with and how they treat their customers.

I have asked for additional service like rotation of tires for the entire year and it was approved for at least 4 rotations. I also have unlimited car washes from the dealership as long as I own the car. I also received a $500 discount for being a military veteran. So, I well please with the staff and sales person Victor.

Everything was excellent. Nicoe was very helpful through each step of the process and did everu thing to a satisfactory level. He even helped follow up afterwords to make sure I was aware of all paperwork that needed submitting and anything else I may not have been aware of being from out of state.

Being in an accident and losing my sonata forced me to look for another vehicle, which I didn't want to do at this time. But we looked around and got online and sent out some inquiries (never did that before on the computer) and got a call right away from salesperson Leslie Altimuss at Gurley Leep. She was very courteous and set up our appointment to come in and look at the vehicle we were interested in leasing. From the get-go, someone met us in the parking lot and guided us to where we should park and what door to go to for Leslie. And she was waiting for us at the door! We finally settled on the deal and then finalized the paperwork with Sonny (sorry, can't recall his last name). He took us through all our options for insurance, etc. And he too was also just a pleasure to work with! I've already been bragging on who to see about a car and that's to Gurley Leep and Leslie Altimuss. You have 2 great people in Leslie & Sonny! Thanks so much for the experience!

Everything was great. Leslie was wonderful to work with. The Tucson I inquired about that was listed as being at their location ended up not being there at all. I was disappointed that it was all the way in IA when the website said it was in Mishawaka, IN. I test drove a fully loaded SUV, which was something that I could not afford, because they didn't have the car that was on their website. We ended up finding exactly what I wanted.

Kirk Gregory was very straight forward and low pressure. We knew what we wanted when we came in and he found our car on the lot and got us the price we wanted to pay. We had to come back to get the second key as they had lost one when we bought the car and Kirk went over a few of the features that we did not fully understand. Plus there was some residue on the windows that he removed for us. Nice experience.

The sales person Robert was great and friendly. However, it took almost 2 hours for the financial adviser to come and get me set up with the loan info. I also was a little disappointed that i had no option to negotiate my Interest rate, i just had a paper informing me what my rate was (which even though the adviser mentioned i had great credit was still a little higher than i anticipated). The building was nice and clean, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff though.

I feel Gurley Leep is a good dealer but you have to have research and have prices in hand to get the true deals. I feel that they won't necessarily give the best price unless you haggle a little. I understand that they are a business, but I need to maximize my savings as well. I am a no BS guy and give me the lowest price and we're done. I typically go to Chicago to buy my cars but got the deal I wanted locally so it saved me the trip. It was nice that there were no things really pushed, but they did try to sell the extended insurance and instead of giving you the total price of the packages they roll them into the loan; they told me the total price (all in) after I asked. Overall the dealer did a good job and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

had to go 2 hrs and out of state to find a dealer who would/could get the brand-new wheels i wanted after trying several hyundai shops in my own area. these guys found and brought in a car in from a dealer even farther away -- no excuses, no fast talk; knowledgeable folks, good price. the only downside: wish the paper-pusher was as conscientious as the sales team, but he made a mess of the out-of-state paperwork. still, that's a small annoyance compared to other dealers who can't be bothered if what you want isn't already on their lot!

I purchased a 2006 Toyota Corolla for $9009.00 CASH!!! NO FINANCING! Before signing any paperwork I asked the salesman if the car had been in any accidents. He told me "No". I went to trade my car in yesterday to get an SUV... I was astonished to find out the vehicle Gurley Leep sold me had been in 3 Accidents!!!! When I brought the issue to the Managers attention he told me there was nothing they could do! No reimbursement.. Nothing! I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle through this dealership. Not only did the salesman blatantly lie to me but they refused to do anything to make the situation right.

They seemed very helpful until we caught them in a lie. The service manager kept telling us he would follow up on the issue but never called back. He did mention the mechanics work commission so it might just depend who you get. However, it's unacceptable that the service manager never followed up or resolved our concerns.

I came in under the impression that they would be able to provide the guarenteed financing they advertise so loudly on their website, whose only requirements are $1,000 gross monthly income, a driver's license, and insurance--requirements I meet. Everyone that I spoke to was very friendly and attempted to be helpful, but at the end of the day, they were unable to get me into a car--after having me drive a fantastic one all over town. There was no attempt to show me other options. I wanted to work with this dealership because they advertise as one that works with sub-par credit, but found the same restrictions you would almost anywhere else. I'm sure this is a great place to buy a car if you are a top tier borrower, but if you have a low credit score, you'll be better served looking elsewhere. It would have been way more honest, professional, and significantly less frustrating if I had been approved or rejected for financing before being sold on the perfect car. I knew I walked in as a low tier borrower and am not angry with them for rejecting me for things out of their control. However, I am frustrated that my time and energy was wasted, and that other car options were not even brought up.

My 4 month old car with <6000 miles wouldn't start so it was towed to the closest Hyundai dealership-- Gurley Leep. When I called in the morning they said it started just fine for them and were checking closer to find the problem. I called back a few hours later and they said I fueled up with "bad" gas. They told me it was 10% alcohol and .73 density, which I later found out are completely normal. They supposedly cleaned the spark plugs and charged me almost $100. Because it was allegedly my fault, it wasn't covered by the warranty. I suspected something was going on so I took it to the mechanics that I've been going to for years and they agreed with me. I called Hyundai and they agreed-- plus it really was under warranty. I do not trust Gurley Leep at all. If you are looking for a dealership go to Goshen, they are fantastic. If you are looking for a mechanic, go to Zolman at the corner of Vaness and South Bend Ave.

My experience with Roger Davis and Gurley Leep Honda could not have been better. I had taken a family friend along as this was going to be the first car I'd purchased since being widowed. Well, the dealership was great, and while it was fun to have a friend along to share the experience, I really didn't need any additional help from my friend. They walked me through everything and answered every question. I can not think of one thing they could have done to make the experience any better. I got a great price and Roger and his co workers exceeded my all of my expectations.

I recieved a letter from the dealership to buy my vehicle. They offered to pay over market value for the vehicle. What a scam not only they didn't offer over fair market value, they didn't even to pay trade value on my vehicle. The insults just keep coming.

I have a 2002 VW Passat which I purchased new in 2001. At 53K the cv boots failed and I replaced, the cost $582. At 64K the water pump failed. VW refused financial assistance because the car was out of warranty, the cost for me was $982. At 73K the car dropped a exhaust valve which ruined the cylinder head and punched a hole in the piston. VW did come forward any offered $2200 to help me on the repair, my cost out of pocket $2000. I have bought my cars from Gurley-Leep VW and Honda, and my kids have purchased their cars from Gurley-Leep. Never again! I will never reccomend Gurley-Leep to anyone .

i took my 03 tiburon in for an estimate on some squeaks and scraping noises. Michele filled out papers and didnt give me anything as a claim check.a day later icalled and got a 2500.00+ estimate.i declined the estimate, it was so over priced. i have done all types of auto work.. since i declined, they imposed a 99.98 diagnostic fee which had to be payed to get my car back. there was no mention of any diagnostic or estimate fee when we took the car in, no paper work given to me with this info., and NO signs or statements displayed anywhere at the dealer stating this fee. upon leaving i took my car to reputable service shop where 20.00 worth of work was performed on a bent brake rotor shield (skqueaks,noises) and the car runs fine now, and i have in writing the problems stated in the original estimate was invalid.. i since have stopped payment on the 99.98 check and i hope i hear from there lawyer. what a scam...
