being 56 years old I have never purchased a used car before and was slightly reluctant. I found a car at this dealership I was interested in and started conversation with a salesman named Kevin. we then met to discuss the car in person and I was introduced to the manager named Derick . both of these guys handled everything in the most professional and curious manner possible and both my wife and I felt very comfortable and purchased the car. we have all heard stories about " the typical used car salesman " but working with these 2 was anything but the case. they both are honest straight shooters with no pressure and no gimmicks . I can only say thank you to both of them and would recommend anyone looking for a pre owned car to stop in and talk with either of these guys

If you are considering a BMW as your next car, you really need to speak with Chris Abbatiello at Habberstad BMW of Huntington. I found myself shopping to replace my car rather unexpectantly, which added a little stress to the process. I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Chris. He took the time to listen (really listen) to what was important to me in a vehicle, work within my budget, and minimize any anxiety that comes with the process of securing a new car.Chris is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. Browsing through the online reviews it's no wonder that Chris is recommended so highly.One thing that was really important to me was the way Chris treated me as a person. I'm quite the average person, not fitting the high-end profile you might find frequenting a luxury showroom. If you're like me you may have walked in to another BMW, Mercedes, or Audi dealership and felt that condescending roll of the eyes while practically being ignored. Not once did I feel any less important with Chris just because I was looking at the entry level BMWs. If you relate to what I'm writing, make an appointment with Chris. Although the prospect of getting a new vehicle has always been exciting for me, the process of purchasing one has always dampened this excitement. However, I must say that my recent experience with Habberstad BMW in Huntington showed me that this process does not need to be daunting. My sales agent, Chris Abbatiello, and his Sales Manager, Derek, were absolutely amazing to deal with. I was in the market for a fresh off lease vehicle looking to lease it under a program BMW was running that was either going to end in a couple of days or increase in price (it was the second to last day of the month). They only had one vehicle in stock that met my criteria although it was black, which was a color I was looking to avoid. Chris took on the challenge of getting me the vehicle of my choice. He searched high and low and not only found me a car that met my criteria (including color), but also one that had navigation and other add ons at practically the same price. Their sales manager, Derek, helped Chris fit the car into my budget and we were able to make the deal happen. It's not that they went the extra mile to find a car for me and make a sale that drove me to write this review, but rather their service level and authenticity, which is second to none. I needed to take delivery of the vehicle before the month's end to qualify for the program, although I was scheduled to leave for an international trip that made it impossible for me to pick up the vehicle by the required date. However, Chris offered to personally deliver the vehicle to my home and drop it off with my wife. As I didn't get to see the vehicle beforehand as it was not at the dealership, he promised me that he would make sure the car was impeccable and detailed before delivery, reassuring me that he would look over the car as if it was his own before delivering it. Well, when I got home from my trip the car was exactly what he promised, practically new! Not only that, but he didn't like the way the carpet mats cleaned up so told me he was going to order new ones for me, which I picked up tonight. Amazingly enough, I didn't have to ask for new ones. I truly felt like he had my best interested in mind and treated me as if I was a family member.Bravo Chris and Derek! Quite easy to see why Habberstad has been around as long as they have.

We returned our old BMW a month before our lease was up and got a new one. At the time we returned our old car, BMW had already charged us for the last month of our lease. So BMW owed us one month of payment which was around $700. Howie Schulman was the sale's person helping us with the new lease. He was well aware that BMW owed us our last payment since we were retuning our car a month before our lease was up to get a new one. He assured us that BMW would refund us the $700. Eager to sign us up on a new lease, he said the 700 dollars was not an issue and that he "would take care of it." We leased a new BMW. A couple of months later, not receiving our refund, my husband emailed Howie to follow up on the refund. Howie asked him what the exact amount of payment was and my husband emailed the exact amount. A few weeks later, again not receiving the refund, my husband emailed him asking for the refund. This time Howie asked for documentation that we had made the last payment (while they had access to all our info and record with BMW). My husband emailed him the receipt for the last payment. Couple of months later, still not receiving the payment, I drove 40 minutes to the dealership to talk to Howie in person. In my response and to my utter surprise, he told me that BMW has a "120 day policy" with regards to disputes and since we waited more than 3 months to request a refund BMW would not be able to give us a refund. This was the first time ever that I was hearing about this policy. My conversation with him lasted less than 2 minutes since he lost his temper after I said that he lied to us when he said he would take care of the $700 - he walked away from his desk and had his manager, Stephen, talk to me. Stephen was anything but understanding and cooperative. In my 45-minute conversation with him he kept repeating the 120 day policy, which my husband and I had ABSOLUTELY no clue of until that day. He basically blamed us for not following up within that time limit and did not - even for a second - entertain the thought that maybe we were right! Maybe this was his employee's fault for not informing us about this ridiculous policy when we leased our new car or in the follow up emails.At the end he promised me that he would talk to BMW Financial and will get back to me within a few days. It's been almost a month since my conversation with him and I haven't received an email or phone call from him. This is my first time EVER writing a negative review for any business. But my experience with this dealership was so frustrating and disappointing that I felt compelled to let others know about the way these people treat you once you have leased a car from them and they are done with you!

I just bought my second BMW within the past 4 months at habberstad BMW. The first one I found online, went to Huntington Habberstad and Chris Abbatiello was the pre-owned Client Advisor who showed me the car- that I ended up buying. He was extremely helpful and did not try to pressure me into buying anything.After the sale, he followed up with me - to make sure I was completely sastisfied with the car. I brought the car in for service, and EVERYONE treats you with respect. When I decided to lease a second BMW for my Wife, there was no question which dealership I was going to. I went back, spoke to Chris again- and felt like I was talking with a member of my family. I was having a small issue getting the seat memory to work with the key fob and Chris asked Ty Vargas to contact me. She called me at home at 6 pm and very patiently walked me thru setting up the seat memory- (Thank you Ty!) Again, the entire Habberstad dealership did an outstanding job making sure the entire process was as smooth as possible. It really has been a very rewarding experience with Habbberstad BMW!

I went there thinking Mini Cooper service department was still operating in that location. While I was there I saw a car on the lot that looked interesting. I called the next day and spoke to Chris [Abbatiello] who couldn't have been more helpful. He gave me the rundown on the vehicle; no pressure, just good information and answers to whatever questions I had. I then scheduled an appointment...I went, saw, bought. The experience couldn't have been easier and I credit Chris with that. I would definitely recommend Habberstad of Huntington [and Chris] to people. In fact, I already have.

That changed - when I found a pre-owned BMW online at Habberstad that I ended up buying- partly because that dealership is unlike any other I ever encountered.Chris Abbatiello was the pre-owned salesman who assisted me and he went out of his way tomake sure the whole process was as smooth as possible. i went into habbarstad to ask several questions on a new bmw. the person was completely rude as well as did not really have answers for my questions so to say the least had no knowledge of the product line. the car i was looking at was a bit over 80k dollars....to say the least not cheap but also not the most expensive one either. i have never been treated this bad at any dealer and trust me i know dealers can have some rude people working there but this took the cake. i have made complaints even with the better business bureau. i was supposed to get a call back from him which never happened so im suprised. im willing to bet ill get a call in a few weeks if sales are bad that week. needless to say i think they need to clean house or train their sales force a bit better. i dont think the manager is willing to let 80k plus car slip through his sales forces fingers. needless to say i will not shop there any more. this would have been my first bmw so i was really excited and after walking out of there im not feeling too good about my time spent there. on to another dealer and i hope i get treated better.

As a loyal customer of this dealership for 10+ years it was quite shocking that when I brought my car in for service yesterday 12/3/15, that I was treated so rudely and disrespectfully by my service associate. He spoke condescendingly, rudely, abruptly and combatively to me the whole time, at one point flinging paperwork at me. I have never seen a grown man act so much like a toddler having a fit in their "terrible 2" phase. It is completely shocking that they condone that behavior from their employees. I asked to have something checked further after I was told they couldn't replicate the issue I brought the car in and was abruptly told no that they would not be doing anything further and I could pick the car up. Apparently good customer service is not important to the Habberstad family nor is going the extra mile to ensure that their clients are satisfied. I will not be continuing to be a loyal client in the future since being downright disrespectful is apparently their new business model. UPDATE:As of 12/19: the issues have still not been fixed with my car. I keep being told to come up so that we can talk about it further however after having the car looked at we have learned that the power steering fluid is low and we have advised them about this and yet still nothing. At any point they could of come and brought the car to the dealership like other dealerships would of done in this case but no, Habberstad again has failed to go above and beyond the call of duty for loyal customers. They even could of had the car towed to the dealership to have a new service appoint completely and use that time to actually look into the car and the issues instead of trying to sell me things I don't need and that are fine with the car. This dealership is not what it used to be and my family and I won't be returning to purchase new cars from them when these cars are returned in 2016.

I went into Habberstad BMW initially to purchase a 2014 Jeep Wrangler (Sahara) that they had in their Inventory. As soon as I drove in I was immediately welcomed by CA Angel Delvalle-Vega. While looking at the Jeep the Pre-Owned Director Alex Christophides was already assessing the Value of my Vehicle that I wanted to trade in. No Waiting. In the end I bought a 2013 CPO BMW X5. Fully Loaded with extended Maintenance and Tire Protection. I cannot even begin to tell how comfortable Alex and Angel made me feel when looking to Purchase a Vehicle in their Dealership. It is phenomenal! They're patient and not once did they ever pressure me to buying a Vehicle. No matter how many times I called they answered. Angel goes far out his way to help...Even after buying the Vehicle. He takes Time out of his Day to assist in any way possible. I WILL ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND Alex & Angel!!!!! I was thinking about purchasing a BMW for over a year. I visited many dealerships in the Long Island/NJ area, but was not completely satisfied (mostly with the customer service) of the car salesmen. Most of them just really seemed to just want a quick sale. Habberstad BMW of Huntington (Angel) must have been the 7th dealership I visited. From the beginning when we spoke over the phone, Angel was very professional and knowledgeable about the BMW's (especially the X6, which is the one I wanted). He spent a long time on the phone with me explaining the BMW X6 that they had in stock. We scheduled an appt for a test drive. When I arrived at the dealership, Angel had the car ready for me to do a test drive. I was very impressed, yet still a little hesitant on purchasing the car, but the thing that really WOW'd me was when I wanted to come back another day to bring my wife to the dealership to see the car. Even though it was Angel's day off, he still agreed to meet me, my wife & kids at the dealership to show us the car and to answer the many questions that we had. Angel was patient and did not seem like the pushy used car salesmen that I had dealt with previously. I knew that he cared about the best interest of me & my family being happy with the car and not just another sale. I agreed to purchase it. Even after I purchased the car, Angel followed up with me on more than one occasion to ensure that the car was driving well and that I was happy. I also had to take the car to get serviced and I called Angel to let him know. He personally made a call to the service center for me to ensure that my situation would be taken care of in a timely manner. He is the BEST! He is an truly an ASSET to your organization! On July 11 I confirmed that a 2015 428XI convertible was coming in to dealership and was told it would be available for my pickup in August. Called to in August to find out when I could pick it up and was told "our blue one was sold by the manager". I offered a deposit prior to this but was told not to worry I am a repeat client. The salesman is Joe Deinzer and again dealership is Habberstad BMW Huntington, N.Y.Beware !

The process was quick and easy and I was able to pick up my car very quickly from the start start to finish of the purchase. We live in Philadelphia and were worried about making such a long trip for a car we could only view online, but Angel took the time to answer all of our questions over the phone and addressed any concerns we had. That made it much easier to justify the travel, and the excellent customer service didn't end on the phone. Angel left a meeting early to make sure he was at the dealership in time to meet us in person to show us the car. It was everything he promised it would be and we were able to drive it home that day since he made sure all of the paperwork was ready before we arrived. And that still wasn't all...we did have a minor problem with the car after purchasing it, so we had to have it serviced at a local dealership since we couldn't make the long drive back to Habberstad. But Angel worked with our local dealership to make sure we didn't suffer any additional cost or inconvenience! Habberstad is a trustworthy dealership and Angel an excellent representative. We're very happy we made the trip.

Everybody hates the BS car dealers put us through to buy a car. The worst for me is their time wasting tactics. I literally just don't have the time for it. I was looking for a specific make and model and used the internet, email and cell phone to disqualify all but the best few potential targets in my area.I first spoke to Angel about a specific pre-owned car I was interested in on Friday night at 7:30 and drove the car home the next day at 5pm having spent a total of about an hour at the dealership. Every car buying experience should be this pleasant.The car is magnificent, the deal was fair and the service outstanding. Angel took care of everything with care and attention to detail. Amanda in finance deserves honorable mention also, she was terrific.Going forward I will check with Angel first to get the car I want simply for the quality of the experience of transacting with him.Well done, Angel., Thank you very much.Christopher

I received an email from Andy Hyun, client advisor at Habberstad BMW regarding a lease on 2015 X5. I asked them to beat the price of a competitor dealership. He did beat the price by $9, but "other fees" were higher, so my cash on delivery price was more. Decided to hold off on the lease. In response, he sends me the following: " I really don't get these people.. looking for best deal and ask me to beat the number that he've already got from rallye.. and this is how he comes back?? xxx ???? LOOOOOOOOSSSEEERRRRRRR"This email response was childish at best and extremely unprofessional. Having been a loyal BMW customer for years, I do not recommend Habberstad BMW as they have people like this representing them.Update...spoke to sales manager, Steve, and he was very receptive to hear about my discourse with the client advisor.

I am an experienced buyer of new cars both for lease and outright purchase. But these guys actually took advantage of my situation. I needed a car immediately since my 2014 was involved in an accident and a total loss. These guys sold me the car, agreed on the price and then when they agreed I would get a reduced cost thru a bmw North America promo - I sent them the email and they never reduced my payment. Just pocketed the money from corporate bmw. Additionally, the car 400 miles on it. They never told me that. They said that by law they only need to disclose for over 500 miles. Really that is the way to build a relationship?The inservice was horrible. I own Mercedes, audi and bmw. This was by far the worst buying experience. Will never return there and will never recommend.

Our adventure into purchasing our first BMW luxury SUV began with Truecar.com that directed us to three dealerships with a "guaranteed" purchase price. Michael Pierleoni, internet sales advisor at Habberstad BMW in Huntington, was the first to respond to our inquiry via email. Understanding that it was inconvenient to speak over the phone, unlike other BMW dealerships, he continued to dialogue with us over email. We eventually did a test drive with Michael and he helped us understand all the capabilities and features of the 2015 X5, even pros and cons of the available 3rd row seat. Not once did our family feel the pressure to purchase as he understood our budget concerns and the desire to speak to other BMW dealerships (Wide World, Park Avenue, Open Road, Rallye) in the tri-state area to help achieve our budget.Over the course of two months, Michael continued to check in with us periodically via personal emails in a very friendly manner and provided NUMEROUS repricing exercises due to our budget constraints. He even alerted us to a local BMW Drive Event where we could get a voucher towards the purchase of a new vehicle. All his estimates and pricing exercises were open book and every fee explained. Michael was even able to alert us to hidden costs/fees in other dealerships' estimates. We eventually reached an out the door number with Michael and Habberstad that was actually lower than the Truecar.com price. Jay Liardi of Financial Services was even able to secure a finance rate of 1.89% for us over 60 months.We never felt the need to visit another BMW dealership, or speak to any other sales advisors over the phone despite the numerous requests to visit, generic spam emails (never received a generic spam email from Habberstad), and voicemails from them. Not knowing the size of other dealerships, we assume that Habberstad BMW of Huntington is on the smaller side. However as the saying goes, never judge a book from its cover. It was stress-free, pressure-free, and we were more than willing to make the drive from western Queens. We would highly recommend working with Michael Pierleoni to anyone shopping for a BMW.

I brought my '07 BMW 328xi coupe for servicing at BMW Habberstads Huntington NY location in August of 2013 because of sporadic rough idling and engine shaking. Shortly after paying $1418.49 for the services on August 5th, I drove the car off the lot and returned it minutes after due to the same issue. August 8th, I picked my car up after paying an additional $671.22 and drove the car home. Days later the sporadic rough idling and engine shaking continued. I was hesitant to return for servicing because I could not afford additional payments.After months of dealing with the issue, I finally called to see if they would be willing to take another look at the car free of charge. They said I would have to pay an additional $165.00 plus tax! While also calling to get the full value of the monies paid to the company for the services, their representative whom I spoke with, Bill Dickhut, was reluctant to give my the information I needed to mtch the value I had listed. I brought my car to the gas station on the corner and had them diagnose the car for $25.00; they pulled a code from my service engine light. P0301 being the code dealing with the problem I have been experiencing which relates directly to the sporadic rough idling and engine shaking. It was easy enough for my to look up YouTube videos on how to fix the car, yet I have been dealing with this issue for months and paid over $2,000 to have the issue fixed, which was NEVER actually fixed!After dealing with Peter Mitchell, a service representative for months, I began asking to work with a manager in getting the car fixed! After picking up my car, I saw my brake light was on. Peter Mitchell mentioned that I needed new brakes and that it would cost me about $800.00 to get them fixed. I brought my car to Deer Park Quality Auto for a second opinion to see that my brake sensor was cut and was explained that there was no way that this happened by driving the car, instead it was yanked or cut to trigger the brake sensor. Peter Mitchell was reluctant on multiple occasions to allow me to speak with Dave Craft, their service manager, often picking up his line and saying he was unavailable. On two occasions I called under a to speak with Dave immediately after being denied access by Mr. Mitchell who said he was out of the office, and reached him after calling back under a different alias. Finally being able to reach Mr. Craft, I explained the issue at hand. He seemed distraught and eager to help me fix my car. After about one week of them having my car, they had a BMW corporate representative come down to take a look at the car, finding the problem. After denying to pay an ADDITIONAL $1300.00, the car was returned to me missing my BMW emblem on the front. They tried to tell me that the emblem was missing upon receiving the car. My car was returned to me about 5 times with them stating that the issue at hand had been fixed. In August of 2013 I paid for them to replace or change things in my car, that didnt affect or change my initial and only reason for bringing in the car. BMW of Habberstad has refused since then to actually fix the issue, seeing that they had to bring down a BMW corporate representative, it seems as though they were doing guest work all along.

A rare pleasure. Michael agreed to pricing on the phone. He knew everything about the new model I was purchasing (a 435 convertible), gave informed advice on which extras to purchase and which not to purchase, and generally was concerned that we have exactly what we wanted. Pricing of our trade in was fair and there was no haggling over the price when our special order arrived two months after the initial inspection of our old car. By far the best experience I have ever had in purchasing a car. The show room may not be as fancy as some but the quality of the personnel is what really counts. The contras to other BMW dealers I talked to is astonishing!

I brought in my 335i coupe on May 30,2014 to have an alignment done. When I spoke to the service representative over the phone, they offered to match the service coupon another dealership was promoting at $150. Upon arrival, Habberstad BMW tried to increase the price to $199. With some persistence, they finally agreed to offer the alignment for the original quoted price. Tim was pleasant enough during the documentation process and I reiterated several times that I did not wish to have my vehicle washed. During the waiting period, I sat outside and watched as one of the mechanics peel off in my vehicle apparently to test the alignment. Although unorthodox, I gave it little thought as I was confident the dealership would take good care of my vehicle. When my vehicle was finally done, I notice right away they totally disregarded my simple request of not washing the vehicle. But that simple disregard paled in comparison to what I discovered next. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that my front bumper lip was completely scraped. My vehicle has sports suspension so I take precautions when entering steep slopes to prevent any scrapes from happening. Apparently Habberstad BMW service department deems this unnecessary. I strongly recommend BMW drivers to take their vehicles elsewhere for service. From the original bait and switch on prices to the total lack of care and disregard for my vehicle, Habberstad BMW has shown me that they could careless about the conditions of your vehicle.

I would like to thank both Angel Delevalle-Vega and Eric Silverman for their hard work and dedication in helping us to work out a deal and acquire and X3. Both Angel and Eric were very responsive to questions asked and returned calls and e-mails in a timely manner. There was never any pushing of any kind with respect to trying to sell the car, I believe they were able to give us the best deal possible given what we were looking for. Our experience with the dealership including the manager, finance dept. and sales folks was that they were very honest and respectful to us. The car when, it was Pre-Certified and ready to be picked up looked like new as we had seen the condition of the car previously. I have gotten two cars with Angel and could not have been happier. Angel has done nothing but provided us with the best of service and made sure we got exactly what we wanted both times. He got my father into a CPO 3 series and also got a great deal on a lease for my wife. While discussing our options, Angel lets you know what the best options are for you and not. He's extremely honest and fair. I plan on going back to Angel for all my other automobile needs now and in the future. After the process is over, you end up feeling like you bought a car from a friend you trust and not a salesman trying to make an extra dollar off of you.

Wow.We first met Andy who walked us through the brand and models - he was excellent. We decided to buy used, so we were introduced to Angel. He did a very thorough job giving us the various options that he had and went out of his way for us. When we came back to buy, again, he was wonderful, meeting every need we presented. He even beat my credit union's interest rate! He was very fair in dealing with us, especially regarding options that we probably didn't need - he wasn't a typical salesman trying to upsell everything. When he delivered the car, it was perfect; he went through the operation of the car and all its options in a very understandable way. He extended himself up and above when he met me at the DMV to pickup my personal plates. When it was time to pickup my vehicle- which I have named, Romy--it was a delight. I went into Habberstad BMW with the intentions of leasing a vehicle in the next 30 days. I had two vacations planned over the next 6 weeks and was not comfortable leasing beforehand, as I didn't want to leave the car after having it for only a few days. I had spoken with several dealers over the phone, and received competitive quotes from each. After sitting down with James Jacome for five minutes, he was immediately understanding of the fact that I did not want to take car right off the lot that day. Instead, James made sure that I would still receive all incentives expiring Dec 15th, that my appraisal for my trade in would be held for 6 weeks, and that we would build the car so I could pick it up upon my return from being out of the country. What amazed me was that the exact BMW I wanted to build (exact package & additional options) was right outside in the lot! James was extremely professional, understanding, and not for one second did I feel pressured. James made sure that every incentive and discount was applied until there was no more room. I put a deposit down on my BMW 320xi, and will be picking it up at the end of January. I would recommend James to anyone that is a first-time lease, or for anyone looking for a pleasurable experience. It didn't even feel like a sale!! James was fabulous, and I am very grateful for him making it a personal, pleasurable, and exciting experience at the dealership rather than a struggle.

I walked in the dealership after being given the cold shoulder at Mercedes up the block and ended up working with Angel Delvalle-Vega on the purchase of my BMW. Angel was polite and courteous. Its easy to tell he has been doing this for a while and loves his job. I ended up taking the car for a test drive and purchasing the same day. He answered all my questions. Asked that I check out the entire car inside and out before committing to buy. Overall I am beyond thrilled with the service I received and the car as well. I was in the market for a new lease. My Infiniti G37X coupe lease was ending and I was excited that the brand new BMW 4 series was in line with my maturity date. I won't lie, I shopped the deals around left and right, I had 4 different dealerships competing against each other. After all was said and done, Michael gave me THE BEST PRICE right from the beginning. None of the other dealerships or reps even came close to his pricing; they attempted to, but all they did was try to sway my opinion by badmouthing Habberstad ("they add hidden fees at the end, they lie" etc.) and bullying me to sign. I knew something was off the second they tried rushing me to sign. Michael has been the most straight forward, honest and friendly sales rep I have ever dealed with. My initial inquiry was through email and he would respond to my questions within minutes. He's a fountain of knowledge and a hardworking client advisor. I will definitely be recommending him and returning to him in the future without a doubt.

The sales person who helped me, Vito Latorre, was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked into the dealership. He answered all my questions about BMW X1 and offered to take the car to the test drive. I loved the performance and the power of this model and also the way it looked - it had a special ski package and the roof box for the skies. I returned to pick up the car a week later and was surprised to get some special gifts with the lease package. The document processing took a few minutes and fifteen minutes later I was enjoying the first ride in my new car! I've owned the 3, 5, and M series and have driven the whole line-up. I'm a huge BMW enthusiast, thanks to Mike Pierleoni. I met Mike in 2008 when I purchased my first BMW. The whole experience was perfection. I did not feel like I was dealing with a sales adviser but with a friend and a fellow enthusiast. He knows the product, the best deals available, and will not pressure you into a decision but will instead give you a suggestion by putting himself in your shoes. He makes a living doing this so his suggestions are gold. Most dealers will try and be friendly to you and tell you what you want to hear, not the reality, and once you sign on the dotted line, good luck because they could care less about your satisfaction after they pocket the commission. Mike offers a great experience and will be there even after you take delivery of your car; that's how a buyer turns into a loyal customer and how a dealership truly profits. I do not purchase BMWs from a dealership, I purchase them from Michael Pierleoni. A dealer that employees Mike has my business at least once a year, and the business of all those that I recommend; congratulations to Habberstad BMW for making such a wise business decision to have Mike on the team.

The 1st reason is that I found my favorite Salesman Mr Vito Latorre.I always bought my cars from him and when I want to get my new car he was no longer there. it took some time but I found him.Anyway I came in to see him for a 5 series. Of course Vito always the gentleman took me for a test drive he showed me in detail all the new fetures in the car I was very impressed. Vito gave me everything in a car with no pressure. The deal was smooth sailing all the way. He is the most honest , never lost patience or got frustrated with me and listened to every word I had to say. I had shopped around for an Audi and Mercedes and a BWM. Dealing with Vito Latorre sealed the deal regarding what car to get. He is no -nonsense and very knowledgeable. After one visit to learn about the car, and one visit to have my trade-in reviewed, I was sold. Vito made sure I got the exact car I wanted, and I waited a couple weeks for my exact car to arrive at the dealership. The deal was no nonsense and no negotiating was needed. He gave me the best deal I could have hoped for up front. I had done my research and know I was getting a great deal all around. When the deal went to Emad for finalizing, he went the extra mile to ensure I got the best leasing package available. When I arrived to pick up my car, the paperwork was in order and complete. No clarifications needed. Boom. I was in and out. The lady who tutored me through the car's features (navigation, iPhone interface, etc.) was INCREDIBLE also. I couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Well, Vito Latorre made that happen for me -- and more. Vito worked hard to make sure I had the exact car I really wanted, at a price that I feel is a solid one. And even after the deal was done, he took extra steps to make sure all went smoothly when I picked up my new car and returned my leased one. James is very knowledgeable and helpful. He showed me his own car because it was the only example of the LeMans Blue color that I want. He told me about the new 4 Series, while if he wanted to make a more immediate sale he could have steered me to the 335xi that I initially came in to see. I had previously visited another BMW dealer nearby and they did not mention the 4 Series. In other words, he's more interested in making sure I'm happy over the long term than in making a quick buck off me. And I appreciate that.

I have given this rating because James Jacome was more then just you're average sales man. He really brought it onto a personal level. He was completely unbiased and direct with any of my questions and concerns. It would be a pleasure to buy another car from James at a good price again!

I am not generally a fan of the car buying experience - too theatrical, too complicated, etc. But James Jacone and the team at Huntington BMW are absolutely unique in my estimation. Professional. Knowledgeable. Efficient. Courteous. I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone in the market. I'm also new to the brand (I've been an Audi and VW driver for years) and couldn't be more pleased with the vehicle. Fun to drive, roomy and, frankly, a real head turner!

I was in the market for a new BMW 335XI, and had been to other dealers. Unfortunately they could not produce the carin the time frame which I required. A neighbor recommended Habberstad BMW. I met with James Jacome who assured mehe would do everything possible to get the car built to my specifications by the date I requested. True to his word, he came through for me, He was able to get more accomplished in one visit than sales associates at other dealers could in three.He even offered to personally deliver the new car to my home if required. James takes customer service to the next level.All in all a very pleasant experience at Habberstad BMW.

I have been dealing with Habberstad BMW for 12 years now and love the sales people and service dept. For this lease, I worked with James Jacome on my new 2013 X5 Diesel. From the beginning, James guided me through the process or ordering my X5 and told me all the specifics about car and what was worth it and what wasn't. We met Ross Lubell 5 weeks ago and bought a gorgeous 2012 certified pre-owned X6 from him yesterday. Throughout the process, Ross was professional, patient and very accessible. I could call his cell, text him or email him about appointments or questions. He never seemed annoyed at our cautious decision-making process. We test drove 4 cars on 2 different occasions. We compared 528s, 535s, X5s and X6s. He gave us a couple of calls over the 5 weeks, but never hounded us. As a BMW owner, Ross is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the product he sells. When we decided to buy, the process was quick with no back and forth with his manager. Ross made our car buying experience a pleasure!

Worked with Ross on a preowned. He was polite, knowledgable, and gave great advice in finding the right car that suited our needs. He didn't try to up-sell features that obviously weren't necessary and worked to find something that fit our price. I purchased a 135i from James and I am thrilled. The process at the dealer took only about 2-3 hours from the time I sat down to driving off. James and I had never talked before either so he made this process super easy and fast. He did the DMV stuff, the insurance stuff and taught me how to use the car very well. He even stayed late to make sure I was all squared away. James is an excellent representative of BMW and I would go back to him in a heartbeat.

James Jacome is awesome! I just bought a new 2013 650 through him and the transaction went very smoothly from beginning to end. After contacting several BMW dealers, I called James. I was looking to buy a very specific car; colors, packages, options, etc., and James was the only one able to get the job done. The entire experience with him was just great! James is pleasant, knowledgeable, courteous, and very helpful. I come from a family of BMW enthusiasts and James Jacome is our new, and permanent, BMW go-to guy. The Dealership is and has been in the past, a quality dealership. I have purchased cars in the past from you but the overall experience this time was enhanced and ALL due to Ross Lubell and Donna. Ross in particular was friendly, knowledgable and knew how to do thing with honesty and was heartfelt in trying to accomplish both our goals. Although our goals were somewhat at opposite end of the spectrum, me trying to save money and Ross watching out for your interests, I walked away satisfied....not an easy thing to do. He worked with me throughout the process to accomplish what was needed and knew your systems and BMW systems well, including the product available for financing, etc. Donna also worked hard at trying to get financing in order as well and also knew the products available to maximize the process and satsify my unique situation. She did so with complete transpancy and great detail. I am satisfied.

I had the pleasure of meeting James Jacome nearly a decade ago, when he sold me a Mercedes-Benz out of Helms Brothers. I was thrilled with the vehicle, and even more so with James. He was extremely knowledgeable regarding the product, and he facilitated a seamless transaction. Over the years, my relationship with James has grown into a strong friendship. I have referred many friends and family members to James, and he has taken care of each one as if they were his own. Now that James sells BMWs, I drive a BMW. Thats the difference between James and other salesman. When James puts his stamp of approval on something, you know it is a quality product. I will plan my next purchase with James, regardless of what dealership or manufacturer he represents. I suggest that all who read this do the same. Also, James is not the type of salesman who disappears after he sells you your vehicle. James has been available every time I needed my car serviced. I recently needed my brakes done for my 5 series. James made sure that a loaner car was available, and had it ready and waiting for me. He is never more than a phone call away, which is invaluable when choosing a salesman. I wish James all the best at Habberstad BMW. I hope they realize how lucky they are to have him.

James Jacome is the best!This is my first time buying a BMW (previously an exclusive Audi owner), and was skeptical on the differences BMW could offer. James made me feel completely welcomed on our first visit and went over the different car and financial options thoroughly without pushing too hard on our decision making. I was very specific in my search and James spent a considerable amount of time to help me get the exact car I wanted.His presentation was extremely professional, and his service went above and beyond what I was accustomed to in the past with sales reps. On the day that I was supposed to pick-up my vehicle, I had an issue with the car rental company who would not provide me with transportation to Habberstad. I was able to call James for help and he personally to pick me up from the rental company within minutes. In the week following my first week with the new car, I received correspondences from both James and the dealership to make sure that I was happy with the purchase and did not have any issues.I will definitely be coming back to James for any new purchases, and would recommend the same to friends and family!

I worked with James Jacome who is quite knowledgeable and quickly explained all my various leasing options. When we found the vehicle i wanted was in stock, the deal was done on the spot. Normally I would take more time to research everything but since i had 100% confidence in James, i went ahead. I also worked with Ty Vargas who quickly showed me all of the many controls and features in the vehicle. Not only did she know everything about the car, she was able to get my smart phone working with the car in minutes. A great team that also included managers Stephen Meltcher and Emad Gadelkarim. Awesome! That's really the word that best describes my experience at Habberstad. Went in on Friday night and drove off the lot Saturday afternoon with my new M3. Andy Hyun walked me through everything and took care of me from start to finish. He's really a great guy and knows his stuff especially about M models. A month ago there was a test driving promotion for a new X3 model on this dealer, so I went with my family to see a difference. I did not intent to buy a BMW SUV because I own a BMW 3-series and other manufactures SUV. I would rather highly consider Lexuss SUV instead. However, after test drove X3 and my wife and I changed my mind slightly. So we just want to check its price tag. Andy Hyun is the sales person who helped me to explain all tedious questions my wife and my financial related questions.I am not an impulsive buyer but he presented such a good price and got a great trade-in value for my old SUV. Furthermore, the new X3 is good. What else do I get more? I have been driving a month and am pleased.

Bought a CPO 335d from this dealer August 31. Found this rare car via the internet, took a 3 hour train ride to get there. Ross picked me up from the train station, Donna got me a great finance rate and Derek made sure the deal went smoothly. An exceptional experience and an exceptional car. A 2011 with 11000 miles. Looks absolutely new, was a dealer loaner. They had a couple others in similiar shape, but no other 335Ds. Derek is new to the dealership and did an outstanding job. I highly recommend him, he went above and beyond what he needed to do.

I would highly recommend this Dealership and my Sales Person John Terhani . I was nearing the end of my lease on a Mercedes SUV and decided to walk into Haberstaad as I service my BMW 650 there and found them very professional and friendly .The receptionist placed us with John and we bought an x-5 from him on the spot! He was professional , friendly and made the experience wonderful . We picked up the car the following week and he made sure that all of the paperwork was seamless ! I would like Mr. Haberstaad to know that we are thrilled with the car . I received great training on alll of the cool updates that this model had and after that John was nice enough to give me an addiitonal leasson in the car ! Just left BMW dealer with the second car of the week!Last week With the help and great length of work from John, Emad and Ty I was able to get a beautiful 2012 5 series. Today I was back in the office at Habberstad picking up my sons beautiful 2012 3 Series. Black with red leather interior. This is a beautiful car. Two weeks ago my daughter in law purchased her new 6 series. Starting with george in sales, he's professional, humble and honest, and he knows his product.Then we dealt with donna in financing, she went out of her way to get us financed and at a low rate. she is extremely friendly and on the ball, I have purchased many new cars in the past years, and i can honestly say, it was my very best experience. and finally there is alex, he runs around a lot, but when you catch him, he'll treat you like you're a relative, when trading in your car. he gave us top dollar for our car, i didn't expect that much for it. i guess over the years when purchasing a car, my experiences were so horrible, that when you do business with decent people, it seems odd. it does seem like the dealership has a kiss ass policy, and we loved it.

angel was very helpful, one thing that was impressed with was that he was about to leave when i walked in the dealership around closing time,met angel and i had told him im just looking around and not interested in buying a car. Yet he still assisted me in looking at 3 cars and stayed hour and a half to help me decide on what car would be best suitable for me. his customer service skills are 2nd to none. I honestly wouldnt ever go to another bmw dealership. angel is the man!!!!!

On May 11th 2012 I bought my first CPO BMW 328i...I love it! My experience with Angel was amazing! He was down to earth, honest, patient and knowledgeable. I hadn't bought a car in many years and was tentative to get into the whole "car-dealer' shuffle...but what a pleasant and refreshing surprise! I brought my car in last year for service and I didn't write a complaint, because I have always been the silent ,never comeback customer. My service experience was terribble , they broke my side controls panel on the door and told me they couldn't fix because they can't get the part for a 2000 530I series it;s too old. I WILL NEVER USE HABBERSTAD AGAIN AND BTW I AM BUYING A NEW CAR AT THE END OF THE YEAR!

By chance, we decided to visit Habberstad BMW and I have to say, we seriously lucked out. Angel D is honest, caring, and down to Earth. This is my fourth new BMW, all with Maria. I never thought of going anywhere else. From my first BMW in 2007 to my newest 2013 X5, Maria was very patient and attentive to what I wanted. In addition to my purchases I recommended Maria to my daughter and son-in-law who in turn are repeat customers. Was doing my research on-line and narrowed it down to 3 CPO BMW dealership in Long Island area. Before going I did call and 1 dealership was so rude and unprofessional that they didn't even get a chance to earn my business. The other once I got there they didn't remember me or who spoke to me, not to mention that the car I was interested in "just got sold". Strike 2 for BMW. Now I go to Habberstad and I'm greeted by a friendly receptionist who ask how she can help me and asks for my name. As I say who I am she replies, "oh yes Angel is waiting for you". She pages and sure enough he appears and welcomes me by my name. On his desk was a small pile of paperwork that consisted of Carfax, BMW service records and ad. The rest was easy, offered test drive, demonstrated options, showed me several financing options, introduced me to Finance Manager Donna which was very down to earth. In short I picked up my 5series that weekend! It's been 2 weeks and he called twice to follow up. Never thought I would say this about a car salesperson, but Angel was great. I'm referring Habberstad to everyone I know? Thanks guys.

We had an excellent expierence at this dealer with sales rep Angel and mgr Derek. Angel put forth his best effort to make our dream car happen (wht 2009 BMW 328 ci with saddle brn int.) He along with mgr Derek and financing rep Donna kept working with our numbers to make it happen within our budget, including a 4yr warranty for car and tires. They even gave us top dollar for our trade-in which was a 2003 Honda Civic Ex. We went to see the car again supposedly all cleaned up on a Wed. We noticed a few tiny dents, scratches and undercarriage boards not up to par. Angel immediately brought it to Derek the mgrs. attn and the car was put on priorty to be worked on. We then came back on Thurs. - the car was done and we were pleased with the work. I made an appointment to visit this dealership (3/30/12) based on the high ratings at this site. After some initial e-mails and also a phone call my wife and I were all excited to meet the appointed Client Adviser. We were ready to order a 2013 X3, pending some residual questions we had, and provided the offered price was close to my prior research and computations. However, the experience was quite the contrary and really strange. Mr Durham was not only late in meeting with us but also apparently not prepared. But that did not bother us as much as the demeanor and inappropriate for the occasion wry sense of humor. For a sales person whose livelihood depends on selling cars Mr. Durham gets an F grade for communications skills with customers. Since we were serious to order the X3 we were ready to overlook this exchange but then the price offered was not even close to competitive. In hind site I believe that Mr. Durham was not interested in doing business with us - and if for personal reasons - very disappointing and disturbing. I went the Rallye in Westbury, NY the next day, had a great experience, got a price close to invoice, and ordered my car. Happy ending, but not at Habberstad BMW of Huntington!

Buying a new car can be a stressful experience. That was not the case with Vito Lattore of Habberstad. He was personable, had a sense of humor and possessed an excellent knowledge of the car and all its technology. He was competitive with his price offering. I was very comfortable with him and a few days later I brought my wife back to see the car and meet Vito. We closed the deal on this second visit. I love the car and I'm recommending Vito Lattore to my friends.

When you shop for a luxury car it is still amazing to find radical differences in style and service by dealerships. Car buying experience is still a tense process but not when you shop at Habberstad. It starts with Andy Hyun whose technical knowledge and straight forward demeanor make the first part of the experience an enjoyable one. You get the sense that Andy wants to sell you a car but he is more interested in making sure that you are happy with your decision. My wife changed her mind twice but Andy was consistently as helpful even when it looked like we may not buy a car. The greeting team and everyone that walks around is friendly and professional and Jerry the sales manager was extremely accommodating as well. You get the sense that German engineering is matched with good old American service excellence at Habberstad.

This is the second vehicle my wife and I have purchased from this dealership in the past 2 years. John Tehrani was our salesman on both vehicles. Before making our purchase at Habberstad, we owned another BMW purchased from elsewhere and had it serviced at Habberstad. Joey G was our service guy at the time,and the atmosphere was always great. Jeff Blaney is also great in the service dept. He's always friendly and will return a call for a service question. We enjoy this dealership and will continue to have our cars serviced here. We plan on making our next purchase with Habberstad.

He gave me test drives and ultimately I went for the 328I 2012 because of styling and gas mileage and technology in the car. I searched for 8 months for a 530XI wagon. I found one at Habberstad BMW. My first conversation I was lied to about the price. I was then sold a car with faulty brakes. The pads and rotors needed to be replaced within 60 days of receiving the car. The tires were directional tires that had big clear arrows as to which way to be mounted, all four were mounted backwards. The tires are so cheap that I was told by BMW in Irvine, CA that they will literally disintegrate. I was sent one old ratty key and asked for another one, finally 4 months later a key was sent. This key was not even coded or cut for my car. It is nothing more than a pendant. I have numerous emails that state someone will get back to me to try and make things right. Nobody has ever sent an email without me first inquiring. This has been going on since September, I still have one key, I paid full retail for the car and spent $1300 on brakes within the first 60 days of owning the car and nobody there really cares one bit. Lesson learned, don't buy a car in New York if you live in California and don't assume since it is a BMW dealership that they have any integrity. Habberstad BMW certainly has no integrity or sense of customer service.

Great Dealership! We were greeted at the door, and referred to a salesperson immediately. The salesperson, Andy Hyun, was very polite and extremely knowledgable regarding the X5. He showed us the X5, went over every feature of the vehicle, and provided a comprehensive test drive. Andy Hyun, exceeded our expectations of a car salesperson, and expedited a reasonable negotiated price resulting in a purchase the same day. At time of delivery, Andy spent over one hour with us and ensured we understood the entire operation of the mechanical and technological features of the X5. I have been to four other BMW dealerships in doing so, Marc by far is the best salesperson that I had worked with in my search for my vehicle. He was on point every step of the way. He is knowledgeable of his products and inventory. Alex a manager addressed a few of my concerns and put them to rest in a very pleasant manner, so that I felt comfortable with this vehicle. I was to have picked up my 2009 335i hard top convertible on a Sunday due to my work & vacation schedules. Marc was willing to accomidate my needs by coming in early on a Sunday morning. When my plans changed he was able to push everyhimg up 3 days so that I could pick up on the Thursday before. The Sales Person, Andy Hyuun was very helpful in finding us a car that was not available at their dealership. They fortunately were resourseful enough to find one and secure it for us quickly. As a result, we were able to close on our deal in order to take advantage of a BMW promotional rebate of $1,500.Emad Gadelkarim, is the Business MaNAger who arranges the financing. He was helpful in securing a very low interest rate on the loan. He was very helpful and assisted with the processing with no inconvinence. Both staff were very professional, courtieous, and a pleasure to deal with. I plan to return for my next car purchase.

I went to habberstad BMW to purchase a 335 with manual transmission. They didnt have any on the lot but said they could try to locate one. They asked for a $500 deposit and said ot would be refunded if they didnt locate one. They did not locate the car and the salesman walter said the $500 would be refunded. Well here I am over a year later and numerous attempts and NO REFUND. I wound up getting the car at another local dealer sho had no trouble finding a match. Stay away from habberstad!

We had met Marc over the summer when we are looking to buy a CPO X5, however thar didn't go through. When we started to look for a CPO car again we went back to Marc. He's professional, courteous, knowledgable and not at all aggressive during the sale. He was patient and gave us the chance to test drive all the different sedans we wanted to try & then allowed us to make an informed decision. Even Donna in the finance office was great and took the time to explain in detail the pros & cons of all the additional warranties available.The only negative with the dealership was that their biller prepared the wrong paperwork & we had to go another day to complete the process. Audra Pittel was very friendly, unpretentious and professional I felt she was truly interested in getting me the car I wanted and at a deal I was comfortable with. She even went out of her way to locate a 2011 brochure for me. This was a great experience. This is our third BMW, and everything was how it should be. I had already shopped for my new 535, and got a quote from another dealer. The other dealer told me to call them back if I got a better price elsewhere. My price for the lease from Habberstad was over $100 less per month, with no difference in terms. They seemed to want my business, and the pickup went just as smoothly.

The only thing was the price of the service, I love my car and I have a lease, but its tough when you are paying for a lease and you have to pay for expensive service on the car.

I was there on time for scheduled service apppoint but was put in the waiting room until my Service Rep was able to write up my car. Sat there for several minutes until I could wait not more and went in service area and was finally assisted by another service rep. Cars with earlier appointments who showed up late were taken for service before my car which was there on time, but pushed back to assist the late patrons. I am thinking that the cones with the appointment times is NOT a good idea.

In fact, once I was overcharged two times for a small part- a few days later I got a call from the shop saying they owed me $75 !! I have never never seen that happen. Truly 5 Star dealership- especially the Service Department.

I went to a few other dealers on Long Island to see what was around, but was less then impressed with there sales staff. My car was originally in for service on 9/24. After being in the shop for 4 days I needed to bring it back because my A/C and heat were not working properly.I brough my car in on Friday 10/14 and picked it up 10/17 and I am not happy.The A/C and heat are working again but now the car hesitates when driving in local traffic. I called to speak with Ben yesterday because I was concerned about a charge on my invoice and the condition of the car. On the invoice I was charged for Coolant Exchange but I authorized fuel injector cleaning. Ben informed me that they just entered the wrong code, I am not comfortable with this explanation and feel the proper service was not performed. When I told him that my car is running rough now he said I need engine pulleys and belts. When was somebody going to tell me about this?!I spent over $4000 on a 10 year old car and it is in worse condition now then before my 9/24 service.I am extremely unhappy with the last two visits and will not be returning to Habberstad.

I'm driving for 40 yrs,and I have never had so many problems with a car.It took service 5 weeks to fix Nav, radio & left directional,sunroof seal, seat mat assembly. Nav & directional still not working.Brought in car again today.

The loner car program is atrocious. The person in fromt of me waited over 40 minutes befor getting a car. Jeff, my rep, had a shuttle bring me to Hertz so that I wouldn't have to wait. The conditions there were just as bad so I had Jeff send the shuttle back to pick me up and I would just wiat for my car. To get a loner would have taken 50 to 60 minutes. Jeff went out of his way to make sure that my car was done quickly to get me out of there. He could not have done any more to accomodate me and to try to make a bad situation better. However you do need to address your loner program. That vendor that you have stationed there is highly inefficient. I had a similar experience my previous visit, having to wait an inordinate amount of time to get a car and get out of there.

Although I went in around 7 pm (the showroom closes at 8pm), the salesman (Mr. Demitrios) was very helpful and offered me such a good deal that I was stunned ... the deal was impossible to miss. I'd give it a 10 for everything.

I came into the dealership knowing the quality of the cars and was surprised to learn that the sales team was equally top notch. I had visited other dealerships prior to visiting Habberstad BMW of Huntington and found those other places to be much less friendly and knowledgeable of their product - ie. car options, what was available. I was in a position where I had to take a car off of the lot and was pleasantly surprised by the large inventory that the dealership keeps. By having such a large selection I was able to find a car I love. Finally, when speaking with the sales rep, Demetri, I never felt like he was trying to "sell me." Instead Demetri was very straightforward, explaining to me what I really needed versus what were the nice to have options.

This is one of our best experiences in buying a car. Everything was clear, transparent, fast, efficient. The sales person was extremely pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable. She gave us a nicelecture about the car. We bought the car for the price that we learned from the Internet. Prior to Habberstad BMW of Huntington, we visited Competition BMW at Smithtown, the closest to our place, but we could not get there the car which we wanted for reasons that are not clear to us. Wedecided to look for the car elsewhere and found what we wanted in Habberstad. We are happy to recommend Habberstad BMW of Huntington to everybody.

Honestly, I have never had a good service experience at Habberstad. I have been a customer there for 9 years (geography dependent and I have a friend that works there so I am constantly trying again) and recently bought a new X5 there. I bought my car there hoping that would improve my service experience (I moved to the area with my previous BMW). This last visit was made necessary by the fact that when they last replaced a tire, they forgot to put back the wheel lock key. So, I got a nail in my tire, took the car to a tire place for a plug, and was unable to properly fix the tire. I called Habberstad while at the tire repair place and NEVER received a call back. I have a bad tire, live an hour away, have no access to repairing the tire other than driving to Habberstad an hour away, and NO call back from service to help me out or instruct me what to do. Not exactly the safest scenario. The tire repair place was nice enough to try to plug the tire from the outside, but within 2 days the tire was going flat again. I purchased the tire insurance so not only did I have to spend 5 hours that day (driving out of my way and it took 2 hours to change the tire at Habberstad even with an appointment), but the insurance had to give me a new tire, which might not have been necessary had it been properly repaired.The X5 is diesel and when I purchased it, I was not informed that when you do an oil change on this engine, replacing the diesel additive is required. This makes an oil change nearly $500 every time, once out of warranty. I thought this would have been important information to have given the excessive cost.I will not buy another car from them ever and all of my friends know this. Now that my car is out of BMW warranty, I will be servicing it at a local shop.It's too bad because I love the cars, but will most likely switch makers.

I received a flat tire during to the Hurricane and I called Roadside assistance on Sunday during the day and they were very polite, answered all my questions, provided me with accurate information. I received a call on Monday morning from Roadside at 6:23am letting me know the name of the towing company and their phone number and what time they would arrive. The tow company arrive on-time and were very courteous. They explained to us that we need to make sure the tow equipment was inside the vehicle when it gets picked up at BMW. The tow company brought it right over to Habberstad and we were taken care of right away. They had the car for a little over an hour and even washed it. I was very happy with the service, and impressed due to the aftermath of the storm how fast they had everything up and running even with some computers down.

My car purchase at Habberstad BMW was the most relaxing and enjoyable car purchase I have ever experienced. Brian was easy to work with. He was relaxed, listened to what I wanted, and answered my questions thoroughly, and additionally had a good sense of humor. He didn't try to push me into an agreement right away. When I returned the next day, we continued with more discussion and came to an agreement. At no time did I feel pressured. I also felt that he was really trying to get me the car that I wanted. Since the purchase he has been readily available to answer my questions about the various car features. I went to Habberstad because they continually receive high ratings. I was not disappointed and would highly recommend this dealership to others.

Samantha was rude and kurt and I was paying for over $2k in repairs. I asked Mike to take care of this for me and he did. My experience in buying a pre-owned vehicle at Habberstad BMW was very pleasant and smooth. It began with a call to Derrick the the pre-owned sales manager. He was very nice on the phone and asked that I make an appointment to come in to see him. My sales representative was Marc J. Marro a very professional person with a good sense of integrity. I was pleased that from the start Marc's goal was to provide me with the best possible service, trying very hard to satisfy all of my request. Upon delivery Marc took his time to explain the specifics of the vehicle and helped me with the pairing of my iphone. He adviced me to return if I needed further assistance. I'm a teacher and have already discussed my experience with some of my colleagues who have bought BMW at other dealerships. Several of them said they would consider going to Habberstad for their next purchase. Their experiences have not been as easy as mine, and the prices and milage were also not as good. Marc made my experience so pleasant and easy that I will continue to advice friends that have BMW and those that don't to go see him for their next purchase. This is the 2nd time that this has happened. Brought my car in for service and both times the car was damaged by the mechanic servicing the car. This is unacceptable. Their technicians/mechanics should be extremely careful with customers cars especially when this is a BMW dealership. Just would like to say that my CA Jeff Blaney is an excellent advisor! Don't know about the technicians servicing the cars.

There is no better service advisor than Ron Guzzi. He goes above and beyond in all my dealings with over the years. He is truly a valuable asset to your organization. He IS the only reason I continue to take my car all the way to Huntington for service. I live in Wantagh.The only problem I had was the unavailability of a loaner on the day I brought my car in.I had to go home and return the next day. Ron tried his hardest to find one but to no avail.My maintainence plan is almost over but as long as Ron is there-I will continue to go there.

Buying my BMW elsewhere and past experiences with primarily BMW of Manhattan for service (beyond a horrible service department, customer service and individuals that work there), hands down this dealership is outstanding no questions asked. If my vehicle ever needs to be serviced again, its well worth the trip out to this dealership. From the very first step into the service department, I was treated with a warm welcome and respect. By far Michael Keravich, specifically this gentleman/Service Advisor, kept me posted with my car, treated me with admiration, courtesy and is very knowledge in his work. Paperwork was completed in 5 minutes, was handed keys to my loaner (which BMW of Manhattan never could of done for me) and I was on my way. I would like to emphasize that Michael actually cares about his customers and tries to please them in everyway possible on a very remember-able visit. Individuals like Michael should be awarded with some kind of pay increase, higher position or whatever because its hard to find a person like Michael himself with the customer service he gives in todays world and actually knows what he is doing unlike others. Keep up the good work Mike, youre a rare guy and one of a kind and went above and beyond my service expectations.

I live in an area that had a limmited selection of pre owned BMW Convertibles.I did an extensive on line search to locate a dealership with a large selection of vehicles. I was thrilled to find that Haberstadt BMW had a large selection of cars available in beautiful condition and fairly priced.My experience with Lane Harris was incredible. I found Lane to be knowledgable, friendly, and patient. I am glad to have found Haberstadt BMW and love the 2008 328i hard top convertible I purchased from them.

Habberstad had the model and color I was looking for at the right price. Did what they could to get me the best financing possible. Best thing was there were no pressure tactics used. We had open discussion on the vehicle, price, financing, and maintenance then gave me time to make my decision. If I ever get another BMW I will use them again and recommend Habberstad to anyone looking for a certified pre-owned.

Appointment scheduled for the day after I called which was very accommodating. Sign in for service was completed in less than 5 minutes. I waited for my car in a very comfortable waiting area that included refreshments. In addition to regularly scheduled maintenance, I complained of a rattle and although they could not locate it, a repair technician rode around for a while in a best-effort attempt to resolve the problem. Can't say enough good things about my Service Representative (Michael) who as usual made the service experience more than acceptable.

On 5/27/2011 I came into the service department without an appointment with what I considered an emergency. I indicated my wife and daughter heard cat sounds coming from the front of the car. After some laughter and skepticism, Ron had a service tech look into my problem. After 1/2 hour, the verdict on my problem was; 2 kittens found, one in the belly pan and one in the wheel well. My 2007 335i is the second car I bought from Habberstad. I've had all service on my cars done at Habberstadt. I've been treated more than fairly by the service department. Their work is exceptional and no other dealer I've ever used on any other non BMW car comes up the their standards for work and customer treatment.

Just picked up a 2008 CPO X5 from BMW of Bay Shore. I looked at cars from South Hampton to Bayside in 1 day.I could write a review on most every dealer on Long Island at this point. Most dealers were nice but unfortunately either the car or the salesperson was right. I am a discriminative buyer and knew buying pre-owned was going to be a challenge.Most cars I looked out came w/ promises that it would be fixed or "may come out". I wasn't up to the challenge I guess. I arrived out Bay Shore after seeing a car Habberstad had listed online. Found out from Lorraine that I could see the car in either of the 2 locations. I chose Sunrise in Bayshore because it was closest to me. Of all the dealers I seen in the day the showroom was the nicest.I guess because it is the newest. It was like a perfectly scaled down version of Rallye.Inside was inviting and everybody was accommodating. I first met with John the manager. He spent he few minutes walking me around the dealer. I almost felt like I bought a car already and was on the "owners" tour. I then sat for a few minutes while they made us coffee and pulled the car into the service area. He invited me to look over the car under the proper lighting while he got an adviser to answer questions when I was ready. Greg was very polite. He actually drove the car the first few minutes allowing me time to actually play with some features I was scared to touch when driving. He only talked when he pointed out a feature or characteristic of the truck he wanted me to feel when I drove.Mid way we turned around and he had me drive back and was able to appreciate a lot of what I was told and read about the car.I was definitely sold. They pulled back up to the dealer and had me drive into the indoor service driveway. The area again was very clean and everyone was attentive and well mannered. Having a hospitality background I really enjoyed the customer focus their more then anything. When we sat to discuss price it was straight forward and easy. Greg was confident in the product and his services which adds value to any product.He never cared that I lived in Freeport and had a dealer in my neighborhood. I then "sprung" my trade in. They did not seemed concerned it would effect the pricing I had already got. The value was inline with better of the appraisals I got. I wasn't fully concerned either because my neighbor was going to most likely buy my car . After spending a small amount of time finalizing paperwork. I went home to fax a copy of my title. Two minutes into my ride home I realized the familiar tire light I have had on my car for the last month was now off. Funny a few dealers had noted it when they appraised it. When I picked up my new car I had asked Greg how they did it because it was not a BMW. I had had the pressure checked out the gas station and was told it was fire and to ignore the dummy light.Turns out it was the spare tire in the trunk that was low. They topped it off as a courtesy.Overall they earned my business 1. because their customer focus was by far the best. 2. the cars they presented or had for viewing all looked like they were ready to drive home.it was nice to see the final product before I paid.3. Habberstad BMW of Bayshore delivered 100% what they promised. Good to see. Better was i found out about this site from another dealer I did not buy from but was asked to give an A rating in return for the price.

Purchased Certified pre-owned 335i from them. Upon delivery, asked where the floor mats, manual and iPod cable were, salesperson provided the iPod cable, and gave us the wrong manual with a promise to mail the proper floor mats after the weekend.Fast forward to that Monday, salesperson states certified cars don't come with floor mats, at which point it was a battle to make him provide. Two days later, he makes me meet with him somewhere in my area, and then provides non-original floor mats! Still no manual but has no issues taking the wrong manual back.Speak to the used sales manager Derek who tells me that although these cars don't come with floor mats he would be happy to sell me a new set. Last straw. Filed complaint with BMW North America, and BBB. So basically the certified pre-owned checklist they need to use doesn't apply to their dealership? It clearly states both the instruction manual and floor mats are a check point and stipulate any missing or incorrect parts be replaced by original equipment BMW parts.NOT happy. Both salesperson AND sales manager are scumbag liars and I will continue to do what I must out of principle. They messed with the wrong customer this time around.

There was not on person I met on entering the dealership that I did not like, including the security guard. Reception was great. Saul Brasvalsky was both personable and from my perseption honest. I felt from the first time I talked with him on the telephone that he would make me a proper deal. He did just that. I am more than pleased with my dealings with Habberstad. Thanks.

Initially I had to negotiate hard on the price but overall negotiation settled on mid price each time. Overall John was quite cordial during lengthy purchase time - I had ordered car to be built. Overall car is also nice. I appreciated John's help in understanding car's features.

Short: Absolutely the best dealer I worked with.Long:Prior to working with Saul in Habberstad, I've never liked any car dealerships before and it had always been a "necessary evil." However, working with Habberstad is just such an amazing experience that I'd wish they are not so far away from me so I can recommend all my family and friends to buy BMW from them.At first, I wasn't keen on buying an expensive car 3000 miles away from where I lived but Saul was able to convince me with his sincerity and honesty in working with me. He never pushed but was always willing to help me get the best deal he can accommodate. Instead of feeling cheated often with most other dealers, I felt it was a win-win situation at the end. Habberstad made the transaction super easy by mailing all the documentation to me after 2 of my local dealerships refused to have the courtesy to administer the signatures. They paid to have the papers fedex'ed to me and then provided 2 empty fedex envelopes for me to mail back the necessary paperworks.Overall, I never felt pushed at any moment during the whole sales process and I actually felt that my salesperson Saul actually was interested in a win-win situation by helping me. The "help me to help you" is so true here. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the overall experience of buying a car online with Habberstad. I highly recommend anyone buying a car from Habberstad to seek out Saul if you happen to interact with the dealership with ebay motors or other internet sales. I've also interacted with Maria from the financing and she was very helpful as well.

The level of customer care and attention to detail is superb. I purchased a three year-old Z4 through Joe Demartino at pre-owned. He truly provided the information that I needed to become familiar with the particular car that I wanted. The sales tact was one of simply responding to my inquiries without any unnecessary twists. The negotiation process was relatively smooth and the condition on pick up date was pristine. I felt I had purchased a brand new car based on the detailing that was performed at Habberstad prep. Working with John was an extremely pleasant experience. While I would have happily placed an order for the vehicle I was looking for, John was glad to search the regional inventory and have a vehicle headed for a New Jersey dealer diverted to Huntington. He walked me through purchasing process at my own pace, never giving me the feeling that I was under pressure, and was able to answer every question that I had about the vehicle, financing, and ownership. When it came to decide on a price, John was extremely fair, upfront about all costs, and patient about explaining all the details of BMW's financial services. Upon taking delivery, John gave a detailed tutorial on all of the vehicle's functions, leaving nothing a mystery. John was kind to give me a call the day after, to make sure I was completely happy with my purchase and to answer any other questions I may have forgotten to ask. I will not hesitate to recommend John to anyone in the market for a car.

John Tehrani was a execellent client advisor,he gave all the options available for leasing and or purchase of all the BMW models.He also spent about 45 minutes with me in the car showing me how all the options worked. I think all maintance and service for the vehicle being included was one of the biggest selling points for me as a consumer to lease this veichle. I do think that if BMW would of offered the low finance rate for the 2009 left overs I may have purchased a 2009 instead of leasing a 2010.I also think if BMWs prices were a little lower I think more people would purchase and lease more of their vehicles. The car handles great and the options like blue tooth, Ipod and GPS make it a pleasure to drive.

Excellent service department and sales. Very friendly and explained the process and financing in detail. Worked with me on financing options. Best advice was to purchase tire and rim insurance which was NOT a ripoff and came into use within 2 months of car purchase. I will definitely return to Habberstad BMW in the future and refer friends as well.

Great Exprerinnce overall. The client advisor, Mr. John Tehrani, with whom we dealt with was very helpful and professional in getting us the vehicle we were interested in. He was able to locate for us the model, color and equiment we requested. We were able to take delivery of car on the day and time that was convinient for us. And it was very easy to retturn our old BMW, at this same dealership, eventhough it was originally purchased elsewhere. The day of delivery all went very smoothly and quickly.

Customer service is first rate at Habberstadt. I leased an X5 SUV and was very happy with the whole experience. My salesperson, Dimitri was great -- very informative, forthright, and helpful and helped me make the decisions that were best for me. He was willing to pay attention to special inquiries and never minded taking my phone call or responding to my email. Also, Joan Carboni, who helps you decide on some of the finishing touches on the car, is extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Finally, the young woman whose name is escaping me now but who helps you when you get the car by teaching you everything you need to know about how to operate the car (getting more complicated these days as the technology component increases) was awesome and spent an enormous amount of time with me until I was comfortable. This was my second time with Habberstadt and the experience was just as good the first time as well. Overall a great place to get a great car.

The entire dealership is so friendly and willing to assist every customer, even the general manager, James McCarthy, went out of his way to make sure my car purchase went smoothly.My overall experience has been great. I have been purchasing cars for over 30 years and have never had as positive experience as I have with Habberstad BMW. I have recommended quite a few friends and each one has had the same experience as what I had. Finally the price on my M-3 purchase was by far the best price from any dealership. I will be a Habberstad BMW customer for life. They make purchasing a car an enjoyable experience.

I have leased three cars through Habberstad over the last 9 years. Each time the experience has been zero hassle - all enjoyment, the way car-buying should be. Initially, I worked with Lori Precht - who became the Sales Manager - and she was great to work with. The last two cards have been leased through Nicole Battista. She has been awesome as well. I have always gotten a fair price and have been treated as any car-buyer should be - regardless of the dealership - like a valued customer.

Habberstad BMW is by far, the best dealership on Long Island. I had been a Rallye customer for a few years, but after having a terrible experience with their service department, as well as sales, I decided to take my business elsewhere. I'm so glad I made the choice to switch. Although not the biggest dealer, they pride themselves on service and quality. As long as I live on Long Island, I'll always be a Habberstad customer.

Ordering a new car was a breeze and all options were explained to us in detail.we had a smooth delivery which was on time. the service department has been wonderful and scheduling appointments/getting a loaner car has been extremely convenient. I would not only use them again but highly recommend them to anyone looking for a bmw.

Sales Experience:Everything is very rushed, they messed up all my paper work (different numbers than agreed on, tried to sneak suspcious charges in my contract in hopes that I would not notice). Every question about configuring my car was answered with "you cant do that". The truth was I could do that, but they were trying to sell me a car that was in stock. Service:Loaners were promised during the sale, when it came time for service the responce i got was "oh, you want a loaner?"Yes I am one of those people that needs a car for work, sorry to inconvenience you Habberstad. Lastly I was told that I can not get a loaner for my 15k service because it takes less than 2 hours to complete. So I'm supposed to sit in your dealership for 2 hours instead of going to work? Wouldnt it make more sense to drop off the car in the morning, get in a loaner, drive to work, then pick up my car after work? Never again will I use this dealership for anything. I have 2 BMW's. My second one was purchased from Rallye BMW. I recieved much better customer service. Sales was a breeze, no tricks, no gimmicks, no stress. Service was even better. A 5 minute phone call and they were able to take me the next day and give me a loaner with no hassels.Stay away from Habberstad!

I e-mailed an inquiry to the dealership about trading in a 2004 325xi that I was leading for a Z4 that I wished to buy. Audra called me and worked very hard at getting me a reasonable price for the Z4 and a reasonable "penalty" for giving back the 325xi. I decided to buy the Z4 and to also keep the 325xi.<br><br>Prior to seeing Audra, I tried to make the same transaction with Competition BMW of Smithtown. They were brutal. The numbers that Audra quoted me were better than every number I heard from Competition.<br><br>Audra was professional, courteous, funny, and caused me to enjoy the process. She is the best car salesperson I have ever encountered.

This was among the very worst experiences I ever had with a dealership. I emailed an inquiry for an X5 fairly loaded and this woman calls and starts the converstation by asking if I wanted to drive the car! Not "what are your needs, what kind of driving do you do, what kind of payment would you like". I didn't answer any of the questions yet and she tells me the car is "about $700 per month, I ask about leasing plans BMW has, she says their plans are "stripped models". I say I want information, she tries to "qualify me on the phone. she never let me get a word in sideways. A real load mouth , pushy sales person... Here Im looking to spend $50k, and she'e telling me in so many words that I really don't want to deal with this dealership. I suggested that maybe, I have the wrong dealership, she responds "maybe you do" and then hangs up on me!!!! Can you imagine! I immediately called back to speak with a manager, got his voice mail (tony D'amato) who never responded to my call!<br><br>I'm writing this for others to BEWARE OF THIS DEALERSHIP! Now that I read others comments , I see my case is not unusual!!!!<br><br>11/10/03 follow up to this tale. I got a call back from the Asst sales mgr. (I guess the General Manger is too important for me). Who asked for my side of this story, he listened intently and offered apologies all around. He discounted this Audra person as not a sales person ( why then is she responding to the public?) and untrained to sell the product. I'm still little confiused about this... Nevertheless, he made me a goodwill offer at what appears to be a serious price ( I will check another dealership just to make sure) and will keep you folks informed as this progresses. Im still very skeptical in view of the other comments on this site.<br><br>Chapter 3 to this saga: No further calls from the aforementioned. <br>I went to another dealership (HASSEL).. Got down to serious discussions, broke out the pricing notes quoted to me from Habberstad---<br>item By item... including the dealer mark-up , I expected to hear " NO WAY CAN WE MATCH THAT PRICE".... Lo & behold !!!! they beat it by $$500..... no questions asked... This is a REAL DEAL!!! I AM DEFINATELY DEALING WITH THEM! GOT THE WIFE TO DRIVE IT....AS SHE IS THE PRIMARY DRIVING PERSON... i THOUGHT IT WAS A TOSS UP BETWEEN THE X5 AND THE MERCEDES C320... FOR ABOUT $40K.... NO CONTEST... JUST CHECK OUT THE RESALE ON BOTH OF THEM. <br><br>HASSEL BMW GOT MY BUSINESS! <br><br>Well next steps is to place the order... and see where we go from there. I will keep you updated. <br><br>Its now 1/26/04, and I just got my HASSEL BMW X5 Deliverered. Check out my comments over there.<br><br>This is May 8th, had my car since January.... Glad I didn't buy from these folks! As for the comment above about spending $50k on a car, I guess my friend above is a philantropist or better yet " a fool and his money shall soon part"... Most of the other comments on this Dealer are quite negative, so why are my comments "Diatribe and BS"? I guess Audra must be in the family....

i took my car in for the 30,000 mile oil service/inspection, had to leave my till the next and was unable to get a loaner, received a phone call from the service center the following morning informing me that my car was involved in an minor accident, when i got to the dealer to inspect my car, it was more than a minor accident, it was obvious that whomever was driving my car was doing so in a careless fashion and maybe even unsafe. They gave me a loaner(a damn chevy which drives like craps, the brakes need to be done, the cd player doesnt work and the windshield wiper blades are terrible) I requested a BMW loaner given my current situation, i was denied this....basically the service center treated me without any type of sympathy toward my situation although they were completely at fault and have caused my car to suffer a loss of value. I am going to contact BMWNA concerning this issue and the automoblie divison of the better business bureau this monday.

Salesperson Howie, the BEST!!! Service Just Lame!<br><br>Last Week brought my car in to perform the rear bumper gap fix.<br>Told me a bracket was broken and they fixed it, thou you can't<br>get rid of the gap because it is plastic. Didn't say anything more, as I did not have a copy of that TSB.<br><br>Washed my car over the weekend, notice the lower part of the rear bumper in between the exhaust tips was really loose, easy to move up and down. Looked under the car, 3 of the mounting bolts were missing.<br><br>I drove out there and they agreed to take my car right away. Everything is good.<br><br>30 minutes later I see my get pulled into the garage again, so it's finish. I walk out there, ready to give the man a big thanks and a small tip for taking my car in without notice. He come through the door, and starts with "oh we DID NOT do that" "we DID NOT touch those bolts" "whoever installed your exhaust did it" "I asked the guy and he said he did not do it" "but we fixed it for you anyway, but we didn't touch it" blah blah blah<br><br>Btw, I installed that exhaust myself. No one else works on this car besides myself and this dealership. .<br><br>Anyway, I hand him the print out of the bumper gap TSB, of which he said what? Technical Service Bulletin from BMW, I replied. He looks at it, and says "whatever, just bring this sheet of paper with you when you make an appointment to fix it."<br><br>Just another typical BMW service story i guess...<br>
