We contacted Mike Ramey and advised him what we were looking for and honestly thought we were asking for too much, figuring we wouldn't get it without compromise. Several days later we got a call that he had the vehicle we were looking for. We met him and Mike Reid late one evening, they knew what we needed to make the deal work for us and the first offer they provided was exactly the offer we needed. Even though it what late the guys stayed took care of all paperwork and honestly it was so easy. We hated to keep them there after hours but they insisted it wasn't a problem and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend both the dealership and the salesmen.

Okay, so I have no credit I am only 18 and have been searching for vehicles to get my life started. I try about everywhere to help me out. Finally in the mail I got a paper about ford and having cars for sale. So me and my boyfriend went to check them out.. not getting my hopes up walked in the door filled out a credit review form & was approved for a brand new 2016 Ford Focus ! The service was excellent . They new exactly what they were talking about and were very friendly ! Never had I have this great of experience ! I was contacted by Andy after expressing an interest online for a vehicle. He took all my information and soon after told me I was approved for a vehicle and all I had to do was come down, sign the paperwork and drive it home. I drove an hour to get there, test drove a Ford Escape which I instantly fell in love with, only to be told OOPS sorry we made a mistake on your paperwork and you didn't actually get approved. Who submits paperwork without double checking to make sure all the figures are correct?? I was severely disappointed to drive an hour only to be told they typed in the wrong number. All I was offered was some gas for the trip. This would have been my third purchase from Hagerstown Ford. Unfortunately I will not return.

This is my 2nd purchase from this dealership. I purchased a 2006 Ford Escape 10 years ago and was reluctant to let it go as it still had many miles left on it. I tests drove the new 2017 Ford Escape and instantly fell in love. When talking to the sales person, "Crazy Andy" he made the whole experience stress free and did everything to get us every discount possible. Add in Chris the Sales manager, great guy and he to did a service for us due to my husband being a veteran and we thank him. Throw in Mike the finance guy, None better. We started our search for a truck tonight, and Andy helped us end our search happy. Andy gave us every reason to buy and no reason to go anywhere else. Andy, our purchasing tech, was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, personable, and he talked with us-not at us. We didn't know Andy before today, but we left feeling like we were lifelong friends. We needed to replace one of our company trucks, we only buy green or gray trucks for our fleet ( we own 20 vehicles). I found the green Super Duty searching on line, called the dealership to inquire. Chuck, the commercial account manager returned my call quickly, the advertised price was the price we paid, we were able to handle all the paper work by e-mail. A very smooth transaction & when we would not have been able to pick the truck up until after 6PM, Chuck arranged to have it delived to our office (about 1 1/4 hour trip 1 way). I would reccomend this dealership & would not hesitate to buy from them again.

We went there to purchase vehicle found one did all paper work n was approved then they said we had wait til Monday since the bank was closed now. Monday they called n said now we needed 2000 down when sat we didn't need any money down. Then we said ok let us see bout getting money for down payment n we even had car for trade n they said no. Then we get txt from Travis the salesman saying they sold the truck. My opinion they r dirty snakes n never go there again to purchase vehicle.

I know I want a f150 because i seen it on their website on the interweb. I know I am getting a good deal because I have already talked to the salesman on the phone. I have seen all the numbers because he sent them to me via email. All the paperwork was done when I got there. Thank you Mike Reid. I purchase vehicles for my company and have purchased a few from different dealers in MD, VA and WV. Since I met Mike Reid, he has worked with me to reach the numbers I need to make the budget allocation for purchasing the vehicles. And I want to add his prices for me has beaten the cost of other dealers by a low of $750.00 to as much as 1,800.00, you can't beat that. In the past couple of months, we have purchased a plain-Jane F150 and a Focus and both vehicles have really fit our needs. Add these to the 2- 2014 Escapes we bought off Hagerstown too. This all without any haggle, pressure, confusion or anxiety and to top it off, we're in the express lane, getting the right price, taking care of business and on the road fast, a lot faster than others. Now yesterday, after much thought, I decided to let my 14" STX go and Mike set me up in a 16" XTS F150 that I must admit is more awesome than my 14 F-150! I purchased a Ford Escape is Silver Spring in 2011. I wanted to purchase a second vehicle and I was set on getting another Ford. I recently moved to Frederick and Hagerstown had the closest Ford. I wasn't sure what I wanted or what to expect. When we got out of the car we were welcomed with open arms! I again went to the used lot but with my negative equity in my prior vehicle Ian suggested buying a new vehicle to get a lower interest rate and more money off through discounts and rebates. Ian was exactly right and he is the man you want to go see for your next car truck or suv! He made it very easy and was the fastest car buying experience I have ever had! Issues with my 2015 Ford Edge.Been in the shop 5 times for tire sensor fault.Still not resolved. Tim Rowe the "Service Manager" could care less. He drive my vehicle over 200 miles without my knowledge and still no resolution. A/C works intermittently but yet he continues to tell me nothing is wrong.Extremely poor service and this is my LAST Ford!I am in the process of contacting Fird Headquarters and I will be in touch with the CEO.

I came here to buy a new car and was immediately approached by a young salesman who sat myself and my family down to listen to all the do's and don't wants for what I was looking for. He gave me 3 different models, colors, etc to choose from and although I couldn't decide he never once rushed me or forced me to make a decision so he could move onto another sale. (Much unlike other dealerships I've been too!) I felt so at ease with the whole process that in the end I ended up with exactly what I wanted! This is the most terrible experience i have ever had. Worst dealer i have ever worked with! Chris black was the person in finance that i was working with. He made promises about the payments he couldnt keep. I signed the paperwork on a friday. He then made me go back in a week later because he vouldnt secure financing. I had to sign the contract TWICE!!! This was all back in July. It is now October and i am receiving calls about owing money for my car i traded in. They didnt get the full pay off and now im being sent to collections ruining my credit because Chris isnt doing his job! I have tried to call and contact him 4 times and he has not responded! HORRIBLE COMPANY AND HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!! Please dont go here and ruin your credit like i did.

Tim Rowe, service manager at Hagerstown Ford went above and beyond when I locked myself out of my F150 truck across town at 7:30 in the morning. Tim first checked to see if my keyless access code (factory set) was registered in his database. Since the truck was not originally purchased at Hagerstown Ford, the code was not registered there. After checking with the dealer where I bought the truck and discovering they also did not have any record of the access code, I called Tim back. Tim immediately dispatched a technician who showed up within minutes armed with state of the art instruments and unlocked the truck. I expected to lose 1/2 of my day to solve my predicament, instead, Tim solved it in 1/2 an hour...that's "Customer Care"!!!Stan P.

We drove 2 hrs to test drive a truck that was advertised on line and was confirmed it was in the lot. Once we arrived the truck was already SOLD. Tried to look at another truck was told it was out for a test drive and would be back in the lot in 20 min. 3.5 hrs later the truck arrived,800 miles on the "new" truck? NOthis is now a used truck. No way I would ever recommend this dealer.

Mike Reid took excellent care of us. Was very knowledgeable on the specific vehicle we were interested in. We started out thinking we would just take the day shopping gathering information and make a decision at a later date. We were amazed and delighted to be driving a new vehicle home that same day. Mike went above and beyond to be sure a problem that was discovered during the test drive was corrected. He personally picked it up the next business day and took it in for repair. He took extra time reviewing the technology features. His last comment was "Just call me if you have any questions" and I feel he was truly sincere.

Mike Reid made me feel like the #1 customer on a busy Saturday on Labor day weekend. They closed at 6 and didn't leave until 9. Mike stayed until the final papers were signed and saw me off in my brand new f-150. He also took my truck himself and had a sprayed in liner installed and my truck was back in my driveway the same day. I will tell everyone who is looking for a new vehicle to deal with Mike Reid, he was awesome!

Dave was a please to deal with. He was straight and to the point. He answered all my concerns and found the vehicle I wanted and had me in and out of the dealership in 3 hours. That is unheard of. I will recommend him to everyone I know.

I went to another Ford dealership that morning needing service. My water pump had went bad and I couldn't go another mile. I'm a salesperson so my vehicle is my office and money maker. That dealership told me they couldn't get to it for a day or 2. When I asked for a loaner they said call a rental co. (I later found out that with my extended warranty plan a loaner should have been offered). I called Hagerstown Ford and talked to Jay Delancey. He said he would work me in that day. I had my truck towed from Martinsburg to Hagerstown service. They took care of getting me a loaner vehicle. I was able to make my sales calls that day. Jay called me 6 hours later and said my truck was done and ready for pick up. For me, the sales person may sale you that first vehicle but its the service department that will make go back to that same dealership to buy the next vehicle.

I am in Hagerstown visiting my daughter and son in law for the birth of my first grandchild. Upon my arrival I had car trouble. On Tuesday morning I entered Hagerstown Ford and was greeted by assistant service manager Jay (sorry can't remember last name ) I explained my situation to Jay and the fact I was here for the birth of my grandchild and was concerned about getti,g home which is 500 miles away. First thing Jay says is congrats on the birth and let's see what we can do to get you going. After doing the complete diagnostics he told me don't worry we can fix this and get you on your way. I left and went to the mall. A little while later I received a call from Jay that my car was done and I could come back and get it any time. He also brought to my attention that there were a couple of things that I should address when I got home just for safely sake. He never tried to sell me something I really didn't need right away. When I returned to pick up my car he explained what the,problem was and that it was covered by my warrantee. When my car was brought to me Jay again said congrats on the baby and have a safe trip home. Being that I was from out of town and,chances are he will never see me again I was treated like I was one of Jays regular customers. I will suggest to my family in Hagerstown that they go to Hagerstown Ford for all their auto needs.

These people have no morals. Worst car I have ever owned. DON'T BUY FROM THEM. I just wanted a nice car for my family and got ripped off. If you do buy a car FROM them take it and get it checked first because they fix it just enough to get you out the door and then everything starts breaking. Then can't understand why you get so mad and upset. If it was them that just spent all that money they would understand.

the sales rep: Jon Koch, was as very friendly and helpful. he allowhed us to use our test drive to pick up the car we were using as a trade in. He did all he could to get us the right price of the truck i wanted. and when we were waiting to finalized the sales he sat with us in the waiting room and continue to check on when it was our turn to sign the needed paper work. seem very knowledgable of the truck we bought.

After looking around at many places, we kept going back to the Honda Odyssey we found at Hagerstown Ford. Though we didn't think we were going to be able to get the vehicle, we didn't give up and neither did the guy we dealt with at Hagerstown Ford. Mike Reid was a blessing to us. He worked on getting things straight for us every day for a week. He went above and beyond to make sure we were able to get what we wanted. He was very eager and willing to help us get the vehicle we wanted in our price range too! We were also very pleased with all the help from every sales rep we dealt with at this dealership. Always there for his customers and customers soon become friends. Chris makes sure you are treated with respect and there is "NO Bull". Chris literally spent weeks with me to find what I wanted in an F150 and get me the best deal possible. Chris had Doug Taylor take care of the orientation and mechanics of the deal. Doug is very knowledgeable of the vehicles and painstakingly explains them so when you drive off you are educated in your new ride.

I went to the dealership to see a used vehicle that Internet advertised. I was promptly approached by a salesmen to help. Turned out, the vehicle sold prior to my getting to see it. As expected the salesmen offer to show me other comparable vehicles. There was another used vehicle that interest me. So, the salesmen show it and then he got the key and allowed us to take the vehicle for a test drive without any concern. We were out with it for about an hour checking out all important aspects etc. Short story... we were able to get a good deal and without any complications.

My husband purchased a used Dodge Ram from Hagerstown Ford about a month and half ago. He had great dealings purchasing the truck from Dave Socks and was assured that since we are PA residents that any flaws found during PA inspection would be covered by Hagerstown Ford in order to pass. Great! We took it to Bard's Automotive in PA to get inspected last week and were told it would not pass due to the fact that the left front wheel bearing was done for. They typed up a quote for us to give Hagerstown Ford, since they had given us their "word" that all would be covered to pass inspection. He proceeded to call Mr. Socks the following day and tell him that the truck did not pass inspection, that he had an estimate, and whether they wanted to have Bard's do the repair to pass inspection or whether Hagerstown wanted to do it. Back and forth for 2 days my husband was told, I'm trying to talk to different managers to get them to agree to pay for the repair to pass. At this point we are not sure what the big deal is since we were after all promised the payment to pass inspection for whatever was needed. Finally my husband asked for the main manager and got contacted with Mr. Scofield, whom to our excitement, tells him on Friday to bring it in at his earliest convenience the following Monday and that Hagerstown Ford would cover the cost as promised no issues! Awesome! So this past Monday morning I personally dropped the truck and keys off and was told, "this should be done either tonight or early tomorrow (Tuesday) morning". Excellent! Tuesday morning rolls around and still no word. My husband called that evening and they proceed to tell him that after almost 2 days it still had not even been worked on yet because the manager who told him to bring it in, quit?! We weren't sure how this was our issue, since this was the second person to assure us all would be covered and paid for, but he says ok so what's next? The attendant replies with, I'm trying to get with other managers to get it figured out and we will let you know. Wednesday rolled around and he called back again and asked for an update and was told, "the new manager said we would pay for half of the fix and you are responsible for the other half", my husband is livid at this point being lied to by 2 different people now and being out of a vehicle for 3 days at this point. He finally got put through to the manager Mr. Smith, whom is the one who made the half-pay decision. Mr.Smith had told him he couldn't hold the manager or the sales associate to their word because the salesman did not put it in writing and the other manager had quit. He said he hoped this did not put a bad taste in our mouth for Hagerstown Ford because he could have made us pay full price instead. After being ridiculously aggravated and feeling beyond cheated, we finally got the truck back this afternoon after paying $374. Morals of the story: don't trust these snakes, always get EVERYTHING put in writing because long gone are the times when a handshake and someone's word means getting their actual word, and lastly, do not step foot here for anything unless you want out of a vehicle for a week or more, no communication, a complete cluster, and a book of lies. Thank you Hagerstown Ford for nothing! Had we have had to do it again, you would still have a Dodge in your lot to screw someone else over on!

While vacationing on the eastern shore of Maryland our 2016 Expedition began having some serious problems. About 20-30 minutes after a cold start, and at highway speed, the engine abruptly cut to a rough idle, there was a loss of all engine power, and the dash displayed a "See Manual" message. Luckily we were on a two-lane road with light traffic and were able to coast onto the shoulder. With the engine at an extremely rough idle and not knowing what else to do we shut it off, sat for a minute and restarted the engine. All seemed ok and we continued on our way thinking that it was probably a one-time computer problem.Unfortunately the same problem occurred four more times over what was the Fourth of July weekend. On Tuesday morning I got an appointment to have it checked out at the closest dealership in Easton, Maryland. After two days and no success in trying to recreate the problem or obtain the computer fault code the service advisor at the dealership said there was nothing more they could do and that we should come and pickup the vehicle. Thinking that they didn't understand the safety ramifications of having a vehicle unexpectedly loose all power at highway speeds I decided to call Ford directly and was contacted the next day by the regional service manager (Ford says a response will be provided within 4 hours). The regional service manager basically reiterated what the dealership told me.Meanwhile my wife decided to call Tim Rowe the service manager at the dealership in Hagerstown, Maryland where we had lived for many years and had purchased several vehicles, including two Expeditions. Without hesitation, Tim indicated that although he hadn't seen the problem on any Expeditions, he had seen it on several F-150's and that it could be traced to a faulty electronic throttle body. Tim then offered to call the Easton dealership and pass on his thoughts on the problem which he did immediately after talking with my wife. Later that afternoon I called the Easton dealership and talked to the service advisor and he acknowledged that Tim called and offered his thoughts on how to fix the problem. However he told me that they couldn't just replace parts without a computer fault code and even if they wanted to replace the electronic throttle body, they didn't have one in stock, they were back-ordered, and it may take weeks to get one in (doesn't that speak volumes!). So now it's Friday and I just want to get my vehicle out of the Easton dealership.Not really wanting to have to drive the Expedition 140 miles in its current condition to Hagerstown Ford, but not having much choice we asked Tim if he could get the part and have it installed. He said that he would order it and that it should be in by the end of the following week. On Tuesday morning Tim called and said the part was in and asked when can we could come in to have it installed. We drove to Hagerstown the following morning with fingers crossed since the problem had occurred three more times over the weekend and the car is ready after just one hour.Obviously we can't say enough how much we appreciate Hagerstown Ford and especially their service manager Tim Rowe for the fantastic customer service that we have experienced all these many years!

purchased new f150 in oct. of 2015, noticed lately that the 2 front doors did not align with the back doors or the fenders, set up appt.at the body shop, they had for a total of 2 days, when I picked up the truck it was better than the day I got it, they washed it, cleaned windows inside and out, cleaned all the floor area,and the doors where aligned perfect with the rest of the truck, big hats off to Duwayne. thanks Again ,Ronnie Lacey

I went to this dealership after I realized a cracked frame on my ranger while fixing my brake lines. I went into the front door and a man approached me and asked me what I was looking for. I'm a younger gentlemen, and so I said used cars. He called up Mike Reid who came up and met me and took me back to the used lot. He asked what I was looking for, I told him, and he took me right there. He showed me a few cars and asked what price range I was looking around, I told him straight up. A truck drove by as we were talking and he said "oh hold on, this car was just traded in not too long ago, let me go check the price range on it." He brought me to the car asked me what I thought and it was NICE! A well maintained 2012 F-150 with only 46k miles! Took it for a test drive, went up to the office to see what I could qualify for, and bam, a great deal. The car ended up getting certified (free brake and rotor replacement) and they gave me a free loaner car while this all happened over the weekend. Got a call, came back and grabbed the keys, Mike even helped me hook up my phone to the blue tooth before I left. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was treated extremely well and without all the typical bs you hear about that happens at dealerships. They knew I was ready to buy and helped me find the perfect car at what I consider a solid deal. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and I have to say that it really was a great experience. I gotta say if you want to be in and out with a deal ask for Mike Reid.

I was 500 miles from my home dealership with a sun roof stuck open my home dealership was suppose to have fixed. It was a Friday afternoon, with storms on the way. I was stuck in Hagerstown. I went to Hagerstown Ford, they tool me in without an appointment, and did everything they could to get me back on the road. The fix they made got me through storm season, back on the road, allowed me to complete my trip and get home. It took my home dealership over a week to find the problem!Thanks again to Hagerstown Ford! If this is how they treat a stranger, I know how they treat a local customer!!

I had a great experience at Hagerstown Ford. I saw a vehicle posted online, went in for a test drive at 6, and walked away with it by 9:30. Everything was quick and easy. The show rooms were clean and welcoming, and the waiting room was exceptional. We were offered water or coffee and taken care of every step of the way. All the employees were more than willing to help, and extremely courteous even though it was late at night. Our finance guy was absolutely wonderful and everyone in the sales department that we worked with were kind and helpful. They gave me a great deal on a vehicle and a reasonable trade in value for my car. Great experience!

Doug Taylor is the absolute best salesman that I have had the pleasure to deal with. From the moment we arrived at the dealership and started browsing through the vehicles, he was very pleasant to talk to and was very thorough in providing detailed information about the truck we had chosen to take a closer look at, well not making us feel pressured in the process. In all honesty, I had only stopped by Hagerstown Ford to see the new F-150's in person before purchasing one at another dealership that I had previous dealings with, but after meeting Doug, he left such an impression on us, that we decided to buy from Hagerstown Ford. The entire process was enjoyable including the paperwork signing portion. Hagerstown Ford has some good staffing and I plan to buy there the next time I am in the market for a new Ford. I was recommended to this dealership by a coworker who heard I was in the market for a new vehicle. My smallish Range Rover Evoque had not kept up in size or capacity to my ever expanding family so I decided to look into purchasing a new Ford F-150 pickup truck. My coworker knew the sales manager Eric Carper on a personal basis and contacted him on my behalf. Eric reached out to me shortly thereafter and put me in touch with one of his top "truck guys", Mike Reid. Mike is the most professional and knowledgable salesmen I've ever met. He knows Ford trucks inside and out. After Mike showed me all the bells and whistles that the new F-150's possess I took one out for an extended test drive. After that experience I was hooked and ordered one the next month. Mike was in consistent contact with me about updates in regards to the truck's build and delivery. It was a process but Mike assured me it would be worth the wait. Finally the day came when it was delivered and I was in and out of the dealership in an hour. I had sent Mike all my necessary documents ahead of time and all I had left to do was agree on the purchase price, sign some paperwork, and drive off in my new truck. Honesty, I came expecting to haggle some on the price but it was already at the "great" TrueCar estimated purchase price so there was nothing left to haggle about. The finance manager Justin explained to me the terms of my contract and all the details of the documents you sign when purchasing a vehicle but it was overall a painless process. So, again, I was in and out in a little over an hour, most of which was spent with Mike showing me all the features of my new truck. I can say this dealership has earned a lifetime customer and I would not hesitate to send my friends and family there. Mike, Eric, and Justin all took exceptional care of me and for that I'm very thankful.

Excellent service. From the first minute the sale was all about what I was looking for not how much they could make off me. The sales man Doug Taylor was extremely knowledgeable and made sure I knew about all the extra features of my future vehicle. He answered each and every question and more. He helped through the whole experience and helped take us on a test drive in the area to push the vehicle to the limits and really get a good idea of how it worked. Our salesman, Julian, made our car buying experience duty free. He answered every question honestly and accurately. There were no surprises with pricing. Julian did not treat us like common customers, but more like friends. There was no pressure to buy something we were not comfortable with. His knowledge of the Ford product is superb. My F 150 cruise control was not working and my sunroof needed repaired. I was told the cruise control worked fine and maybe I didn't know how to use it. (It didn't work so I doubt was even checked) It would cost $1500 for the complete sunroof unit after they removed it. They said the part could not be ordered seperately and they wouldn't be able to put the old unit back in. After a call to another dealer a $500 option was a no brainer. They were able to put the old unit back in after a less than impressive phone call and visit with Mr. Tim Rowe. He mentioned several times my complaints would not hold up in court yet I never mentioned taking them to court only that he was rude on a voice message. I will continue to drive Fords but Mr. Rowe's dept will never work on it!

I had seen a Ford Focus on Hagerstown Ford's website that I was interested in. Had my credit run online, went in the next morning to get it. Douglas Taylor was perfectly professional, patient, and helpful. After a test drive, Douglas addressed all of my concerns. Unlike previous car purchase experiences else where, Hagerstown Ford actually sells cars and doesnt just want to look at them on their lot. They worked with me and my budget, we came to an agreement the first time, no strong arm tactics, and I didnt have to leave and come back (or just walk out). I dont think it gets any easier than that. Peter Christensen made taking my money....fairly painless. tl;dr: Positive experience, smooth process, good, friendly folk.

I went online to figure out what kind of car I wanted. Determined I wanted a Ford Focus. Almost immediately I started getting calls from various sales people. Sometimes receiving 10 phone calls from the SAME dealership per day! Hagerstown called me once and respected my decision to wait until I was ready to buy. From the time they called me until today they never called me again, unlike other dealerships who won't leave me alone. When I was ready to buy I decided to head to Hagerstown Ford because they showed me more respect. First person I ran into was James. Very calm and easy to communicate with. Didn't once feel as if I was overwhelmed. James actually made car buying a fun and enjoyable experience! I Highly recommend him. There were a few other salesmen who were around that I casually talked to. All of whom were very respectful.

I arrived at the dealership at roughly before 1pm and was home with my new vehicle by 3:30pm, Quickest and most stress free vehicle purchase i have ever made. I had done a lot of online vehicle searching prior to going into visit. I knew exactly what vehicle i wanted to look at. A 2008 with only 28,000 miles... a rare find indeed! Paid close to 10,000 for an almost new vehicle mileage wise, and the car was very well taken care of by only one owner. Was provided with ample information about the vehicle via a carfax report, and the finance dept. was willing to work with me to meet my needs as a buyer. Overall I thought it was an incredibly smooth and easy purchase. My loan was processed with a local credit union and I got a very reasonable APR of 7% with $2000 down and a 670 credit score. Would have given another star on the rating if the dealership offered more buyer incentives, many local competitors offer free lifetime oil changes or at least a handful and I was only offered one free oil change. Also, they quickly detailed the vehicle for me and I found large globs a wax on the bumpers when I got the vehicle home, and some small scratches in the hood that could have easily been removed prior to sale..

I bought a 2015 f250 from you. It was missing a hub cap. I was told I got a good deal and they would not help me. I was there from 10 till 1 for a cash deal and they didn't even wash the truck. I will never go there again. After they get 35,000 dollars it's ok to screw your paying customer. Not happy. I would like to say as of July 21st, I have received my hub cap in the mail. I went to Hagerstown Ford after seeing a used vehicle online that was listed for $14,000. I even called the dealership and spoke to a salesman who confirmed that the vehicle was $14,000 and who wrote it down on a peice of paper for a fellow sales man for when I came in. After a test drive and reviewing the car facts, I agreed to buy the vehicle. When the sale man I was working with came back with the paperwork, my grand total was over $18,000!! He was trying to sell me the same vehicle that I saw listed online for $14,000 for $17,000!! When I told him that I saw the car listed online for $14,000 he argued with me saying that there was no way that their dealership would list that car for that low. He then pulled the car up on the dealerships website and it was listed for $17,000. Luckily I still had the screen shots on my phone that showed the car was listed for $14,000. The only explanation he had was that someone must have had made a mistake and that they would not sell me the car for the original listed price. We argued wit the manager who finally told us that "this is not walmart, we cannot lower our prices on demand". Even though it was thier mistake!! I feel taken advantage of and disrespected.

This dealership offered me X for my trade and X for the sale of a new mustang. I took the paper work home. Adviced I felt they were a little low on trade offer, visited other local Ford dealerships (highest at Keyston Ford). When I went back to Hagerstown Ford, I showed them their competitors offer on a similar vehicle (I really wanted this particular one). "Smitte" and Tim the sales managers became very rude and said they wouldn't even honor that offer as it yesterday was their last day for that promotion. He was very rude and why put it in writing for me to think about and then not honor your numbers. Don't trust them! Spend the extra 20 mins and drive to Keystone Ford where you will be treated fairly and receive a better deal.

Mike Reid was the best person to work with. I have dealt with many in the past, and he rated the most efficient and professional person ever dealt with. He worked with me to get the best deal, and answered all my questions. He showed me how all the gadgets worked in the car and helped set up a lot of the items. He made me feel like I knew him for a long time, and went way beyond the normal customer service I have normally received in past experiences with other dealerships. We just bought a F-150 and Mike Reid made that process quick and painless! We've had poor customer service experiences in the past but this one was great. The negotiations weren't strung out with ridiculous tactics and we were able to pretty quickly settle on reasonable purchase price and trade-in.I would highly recommend Hagerstown Ford and Mike Reid as your salesman!

I put in an application online and was contacted VERY quickly to get some more information. I was then contacted again very quickly and invited in to pick out a vehicle and was told they could get me financing. I went in and found a car that I like and they already had my information and I drove home in my new car! I love my car and I'm loving Hagerstown Ford and their employees!

I had been looking for a car for a while but nothing seemed to really grab me... well nothing within my price range. A friend of mine was looking for a car for his college age son and happened upon a deal with Tim Cobb. He texted me for a couple of hours and convinced me to go over to see Tim at Hagerstown Ford. I was not even thinking of going there anytime soon to look. I went to see Tim - he was a straight forward guy who listened to what I needed both from the car as well as financially. They worked with my husband and I to make it work in whatever way possible. I am very happy with his level of professionalism and friendliness of the staff. We had a great time and left with a smile. In my husband's words "We'll never go anywhere else as far as I'm concerned!" Again, from start to finish the whole dealership was GREAT to work with! I got a 2014 Ford Focus Hatchback red in color! As a Fleet Manager of many Ford vehicles, I have dealt with Service Manager Greg Kennedy for years. He is straight forward & fair when dealing with you. His boss Tim Rowe is also a decent guy, coming up with solutions to my vehicle problems. They are not afraid to go the extra mile to help with recall or warranty issues to make it fair on both ends. We've bought several vehicles from Hagerstown Ford over the years, the last being three years ago, and we've never had any of the typical car dealer complaints with them. We always feel like we got a good price and never feel pressured. Sometimes we buy that day and sometimes we like a night to sleep on it. They are good either way. The last time we purchased, the building was starting to show it's age so we were impressed when we walked into a brand new showroom and it looks like they upgraded all their service facilities as well. We didn't make it back to the used car section but the building looks nice and is a huge improvement over the trailer they used to have. We've bought from both Jack Harris and Tex Miller over the years and both are stand up guys who will make you feel welcome and stand behind any promises. Tex even called me on my birthday! We will continue to be a Ford family and as long as Hagerstown Ford keeps delivering the service they have provided us to date, we don't plan on ever going anywhere else. Keep up the good work.

I went to Hagerstown Ford merely to look at a truck that I had seen on line. I had no intention of buying anything that day and hadn't even taken the dog out before my wife and I left because I truly believed we would be gone half an hour. When we arrived, we could not find the truck and spoke to Tim Cobb who immediately went to find the truck, brought it to the door, and proceeded to explain the features of the vehicle. We went for a test ride and upon our return he ran the numbers, which were satisfactory to me. The rest is history. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and courteous. No one used any high pressure tactics. The vehicle was prepped and clean and waiting for us after all the papers were signed. It was the best experience I have ever had in buying a vehicle.

Have owned several ford trucks and bought from various dealers. After several bad experiences, locally, I drove 1&1/2 hours to Hagerstown Ford. My experience at Hagerstown Ford is by far my best experience buying a vehicle. I will highly recommend them to my friends. Jody and Marcia were responsive and honest in answering my questions via email and upon arrival Chris Black was friendly, supportive and asked Tex Miller to complete the sale. Tex was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and the latest electronics . Tex made me feel like a trusted friend, helping me buy the truck. I found my dream truck on-line thru AutoTrader.com.It happened to be over 128 miles away in Hagerstown, Md.I called the dealer, started off speaking with Marcia in Internet sales to verify the truck was still in stock and find out all of the particulars....Thru my choice, I filled out the on-line credit app and proceeded to move forward by speaking with Kelly from the credit department. Long story short, I took delivery of this great truck a day later with a deal that was very satisfying.My sales rep. I walked into Hagerstown Ford not knowing what kind of car I wanted, but Tim Cobb met me in the parking lot, asked what he could help me with, I told him what I would like and he was able to help me get a idea of what I wanted. I had gone to another dealership and was not pleased with the service I received. I never once felt at Hagerstown Ford that they were trying to just get a sale but that they were trying to find the best car for my needs and budget. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the cars they are selling. I don't normally like going car shopping because sales people can be rude and pushy at times but Dan answered all my questions and didn't pressure me to buy anything. I was very happy with the service I received from Dave Socks, Cheyenne Love and the rest of the staff! I had gone to other dealerships before coming to Hagerstown Ford, which was suggested to me by a friend at work. The other dealerships lowballed me on my car to trade, and were not nearly as patient as Dave Socks, and Cheyenne. Dave was able to get me a little better deal on my trade in, he listened to my sob story, and helped me find a car that fit for me. He understood I needed something for winter, that got better gas mileage than my little sports car. He was kind and very thorough. He didn't sound like a car salesman, he was very personable and made me feel comfortable buying a new car. I also forgot my CD visor in my previous car, and he pulled it out of the car and held it till I came back to get it. Cheyenne was wonderful as well. She did an awesome job finding me a much better rate than what I previously had and even a few days later she called me back to tell me I had an even better rate! I went from almost 11% to about 3.5%. Dave and Cheyenne were awesome and I would HIGHLY recommend Dave to anyone to find the best deal on a car, and Cheyenne to help find the best rates!

I got approved for a 2014 ford focus had it a week and was told by smitty I wasn't a hundred percent approved this was after I put a thousand down I got insurance on car so had to return car take insurance off it was so sad I had taking my old car back to dealer and smitty sits down to talk with me and guess he wasn't man enough to realize he messed up and gets up and tells me I'm not gonna sit here and argue with you he was red I'm the face and all because he did completely wrong to my wife and kids and could careless they didn't even try to help me after the fact please make sure your 100 percent approved before you pull off the carlot this happen to my sister 2 years ago also and others look online you won't find a bad review on Hagerstown ford site but Google and all you will because they can't delete them ones.

Went into dealership during a sale and was very upfront about credit issue and negative equity on a trade. Was approved relatively quickly and was quoted a very attractive interest rate and deal to my surprise. Waited six hours to finalize deal and sign documents. Had the car for two weeks and after receiving a welcome call from Ford and down payment check cashed, received a call from the Used Car Manager telling me that additional documents needed to be signed. Come to find out my rate was now 6 points higher thus monthly payment was significantly higher. I had previously called and left two messages with Mike Branson, finance manager, to confirm my lender and ensure that all was as told - NEVER received a return call until two weeks later when I heard from the Used Car manager informing me of the increase in rate. Total bait and switch!!

Had an appointment for a factory recall on my Ford truck. Took the truck in at the scheduled time to have the work done. Was told it might take up to an hour and a half when in reality it took fifteen minutes. My wife sat there for over 4 hours because 'Joe' failed to mark the paperwork as 'customer waiting'. They gave her a certificate for a free oil change, but in reality, why would I ever take anything to that dealership again?

We bought the Ford Explorer Sport the last day of July. I arrived at 4:30 to finalize the negotiations and ended up sleeping in the F-150 in the showroom for an hour.They sold 24 units that day. At 8:30 they said the paperwork would be ready in 10 more minutes. I just said I'll be back tomorrow morning cause I was hungry and tired. (Good thing cause I had the wrong checkbook and couldn't have written the check for the purchase out of that one anyway.) They were so busy they ran out of hot dog buns (that's why I was so hungry, a little humor thrown in).One comment to all dealers, I know model catalogs are not cheap but when you are buying a $50k vehicle and there are no brochures, that seems a little strange. When we began the search I called Ford directly and they sent one but it was the car show version, need to improve that very small shortfall. Websites do not allow side by side comparison..PS you need to fire the webmaster, using the "Your Review" section is painful at best, can't go back and make corrections

I contacted Hagerstown Ford last week through the website to get preapproved. Jody was very friendly and helpful and not pushy like other car dealerships I have dealt with. My problems did not arise until I got to the dealership. I was contacted by email and phone by Jamahl to come out and view their selection of vehicles.We went over this weekend and had Jamahl as our sales person. We showed up a few minutes till 12 with our three children. We found Jamahl very quickly and he was very friendly when we first spoke with him and helpful.We told him the vehicle, Ford Explorer Eddie Baurer Edition - nice vehicle, but I believe it has a tranny issue, shifting was a little jolting on it, that we were interested in and he went and grabbed the keys and a tag and we went for a spin. We went out for about 20 to 25 minutes and were told to take our time and he would work on our paperwork while we were out, even gave us his cell number.When we came back we parked the vehicle (not happy with it of course because of the tranny problem) and went to look for Jamahl. By this point it is already 12:45. We go inside the New Car Sales building where Jamahl is on the phone (it was business related, so that was not the issue, but what comes next is)When he gets off the phone he tells my husband that he will be right back he has to go put gas in a vehicle. That was fine too. Shouldn't take too long right? Wrong! We waited outside looking at other vehicles for well over 45 minutes.We even asked another older salesman that was just standing around on the lot for help and to see if he could at least let us test drive another vehicle that we liked. He goes inside and never returns.We had every intention to buy a vehicle this weekend and because of Jahaml, we walked away with no vehicle from Hagerstown Ford. When we finally made it to our next favorite dealership in Hagerstown, it was too late in the day for them to run our information with the bank.I am very disappointed in the service provided to us and will not be returning or referring anyone to come to Hagerstown Ford.I emailed Jody on Monday and it was explained to me that it was a busy day Saturday. Jody did try to smooth things over by us going with another sales person, but I don't want to waste my family's time again. To spend over an hour and a half at a dealership and leave without a car is unacceptable.

Mike Reid was patient with our particularly difficult financing situation and really worked with us. Between Mike and the service department, they all made sure that we were going home with a mechanically sound vehicle. The service department found an issue with the transmission and they did whatever it took to be sure it was fixed. They even warranted the repairs. I first contacted Hagerstown Ford via internet and was dealing with Marcia. Then I was transferred to Jody and then Doug and finally Jack Harris. I sort of felt like football being passed around the people at the table. However, in the end it worked out as working with Mr. Harris made the process of spending thousands of dollars as painless as possible. Mr. Harris is a straight shooter and I appreciated his forthright manner. He was not pushy even though I knew the dealership was hoping I would purchase the 2013 vehicle on the lot instead of getting me a 2014 from another dealer. Mr. Harris explained some of the advantages of the 2013 vehicle (which was fully loaded) vs the 2014 which I wanted which was not. However, once I said I was not interested in the 2013, he located and priced one of the vehicles I had located at another dealer but it was way above my budget. Then he located a bare bones vehicle that was acceptable to me. He was quite knowledgeable about the vehicle. Since the vehicle was coming from another dealer, I would suggest that Hagerstown Ford at least print out the window sticker for you to take home with you so you have something to look at until the vehicle is actually delivered. Mr. Harris was very thorough in going over the vehicle features with me when the vehicle was delivered. I really appreciated that as I dont believe I have ever purchased a vehicle in the past where the sales person spent that much time explaining the vehicles features. Mr. Harris has been very responsive in responding to email questions. It has been GREATLY appreciated. He really made the car purchase a good experience and I will most definitely pass his name on to anyone I know who may be shopping for a Ford vehicle. In fact, I think working with Mr. Harris was probably my best car purchasing experience ever.The worse part of the entire purchase process was the endless wait for financing. I believe Mr. Harris and I completed our deal within an hour. But 3 hours later I was still waiting to meet with a financing person (Michael Branson). I was told that 6 people had indicated a purchase decision at the same time and there were only 2 financing staff members on board, but it was ridiculous. In my situation, where the vehicle was not even on site, I think the financing could have been finalized when I picked up the vehicle. Then when I finally met with the Mr. Branson, I did not find him to be as helpful as other financing people I have dealt with in the past at other dealers. Of course, he tried to sell me other packages which I really was not interested in. When he quoted the extended warranty, he said the price was $1,689 and would add $261 a month to my car payment. Obviously that was not correct why in just a year that would be almost $3,000. I just said I was not interested because by that point I just wanted out. Then I noticed on the temporary registration that was printed, he had it that I was titling the car in Pennsylvania. This was incorrect. They were bringing the car from Pennsylvania but it was being titled in Maryland. He had me sign a blank odometer statement this should have been held until I actually got the vehicle. Finally, he did not even bother to ask me what loan term I wanted, i.e. 36 months, 48 months, etc. but just financed it out at 72 months. I think that was extremely negligent of him. Other finance people at other dealers would provide an idea of your monthly payment at each payment term. Due to Fords extremely high interest rate, I plan on refinancing to a lower rate somewhere else so I let the non-discussion of the payment period slide but I have had finance people go over each and every portion of the document with me while Mr. Branson did not he just handed me the paper and asked if I had any questions. Additionally, in my previous 2 car purchases, I was also given a copy of my credit score as part of the transaction. All in all, I think I spent 15-20 minutes with Mr. Branson so dont quite understand why it took over 3 hours to get to this point in the process. When I picked up the vehicle, I discovered 3 of the 6 papers Mr. Branson provided me with had the incorrect VIN on it. This was unbelievable and most negligent. All I can say is I was thankful that it was sheer luck that when I had contacted my insurance company to provide them with the VIN, I picked a paper that had the correct VIN on it.I say thank goodness for Mr. Harris because he, and the vehicle itself, made up for the inadequate finance experience.

We needed a second vehicle but dreaded the process of hitting the dealership. Our salesman, Doug, was friendly, knowledgeable and approached us with no pressure at all. I was impressed with his understanding of the safety features, changes over the model years and workings of the car and with his honesty. When I bought my new F-350, I worked with Mike Reid. He did a wonderful job answering any questions that I had, as well as providing me with honest advice. He also didn't push me into buying a vehicle I wasn't ready or willing to buy, and he allowed me to take my time while I made my decision. Roughly 13 months ago I ended up purchasing a certified pre-owned Ford Explorer from Hagerstown Ford. I worked with a gnetleman named Mike Reid and found it to be a very positive experience. So much so that this past weekend when I decided it was time to trade in my other car I sought him out. After describing my needs he had me test drive a number of models and I picked the one I like the best. He then ran the numbers and was able to offer me the car at a little below my budgeted payment. I don't Mike outside of these two deals, but I have to say he is very friendly and low pressure. I'm not a fan of car shopping, but I don't mind working with him. We are now a two Ford family.

We were first directed to Mike Reid by a salesman from a Mercedes dealer. Finding out he was the fleet manager, and considering we were wanting to special order a new vehicle, and not a common one either, we were initially skeptical if he was the right person for the job. After working with him all of our doubts were washed away. He made sure to honor all of our requests and his promises, and he was very pleasant to work with in building the new vehicle and working with the finances, including coming to a very fair middle ground for a trade in value. He walked us through the controls and systems, this being our first Ford, on similar vehicles before ours came in, and on ours painstakingly when it did. It arrived right when he predicted it would and made sure every detail was taken care of and it was completely prepared and ready to be driven away. On top of having an SVT vehicle that impressed us enough to turn us on to the brand, the buying experience was so impressive that it was one of, if not the best, from any brand, including many luxury brands.

Walked in for a test drive and drove out in a new Ford Escape. I had done my homework and test drove a few other vehicles but the folks at Hagerstown Ford made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Sales consultant Doug was amazing, greeted me like I was an old friend showed me the car I was interested in. No high pressure BS. Showed me all of the tech features of the 2014 v6 mustang that I bought. I'm not very tech savvy but he broke it down to terms I could understand. This guy knows his business, I am a car guy thru and thru I believe every car on planet earth no matter how humble has its virtues. This guy knew all about cars and I have been an avid reader of car and driver, road and track and automobile magazine for 25 years you re not gonna fool me. Everyone at the dealership was so nice, especially the tall African american finance guy who talked sports with me and recommended a great restaurant with spectacular food that me and my spouse just loved. Doug was amazing even though it was raining he showed me all the cars features and synced me phone to the cars Bluetooth computer. They have a new showroom that they have just moved into so all the facilities are clean and neat, Since 2003 I was a Toyota guy, this dealership makes me happy to go back to Ford cars.

On an earlier visit I had told her what I was looking for and she took my name and telephone number so that she could get back to me when something arrived that matched what I was looking for. In less than 48 hours she gave me a call to let me know that a 2014 Ford F-150 had come in that had all of the things I was looking for. So, my wife and I made the trip to Hagerstown and Cheyenne was absolutely right, the truck was just what I was looking for. I can honestly say that from the test drive to the signing of the paperwork, my experience with Hagerstown Ford was one of complete satisfaction.

On February 8, 2014 I purchaed a 2006 F-250. Immediately this vehicle began producing fumes which caused nausea, headaches, dizzyness, and burning of the eyes nose and throat. I was assured, via phone, that this vehicle was safe. Multiple efforts to contact upper management were unsuccessful. Service efforts to deal with the problem were minmal at best.. It took six weeks to get someone to go on a ride with me. Even then the "repair" had no effect. Once, when given a weeks notice, the vehicle was left for three working days and was not touched until I called at 5pm the last day and asked that a previous method be tried again. Rarely was I called with a status update.As of April 15, 2014 this serious health concern is unresolved. It has been a week since I spoke with someone and my call this day went unreturned. This is an extremely abbreviated version of the issue. Across the board; sales, service, financing, and extended warranty implementation this dealership has failed. There can be no recommendation.

We had bought a Ford Fusion Hybrid 2 years ago at Hagerstown Ford, and was very satisfied, however, we were wanting to trade our Fusion in for another Fusion. Looking for a more fuel efficient vehicle we found the Fusion Energi. Visited Hagerstown Ford a month ago and got the numbers. Deciding to visit other Ford dealerships, we left without confirming a deal. We received several quotes on prices and trade-ins. Our one experience was good as far as courtesy and knowledge, however the sales person contacted me at least once a day. Even after explaining to her that I had a family member in grave condition and that I would get back to her with questions or answers, she continued to call. Hagerstown Ford did recontact us but did not over extend their welcome . Cheyenne Love was very informative and knew about the special features of the car we ended up buying. I am the primary driver and sometimes pleasing me is not the easiest job, especially when giving me a trade in price. I take very good care of my car and have them serviced at Ford so when they don't give me what I think I deserve I tend to get irritated. And I do understand the resale value concept. The experience at Hagerstown Ford was a wonderful experience for the second time around. Our salesperson knew what she was talking about and the manager Chris was very willing to negotiate to get us where we wanted to be in terms of payment. They were not pushy. They put us in our car that day!!! Our new car is a 2014 Ford fusion titanium Energi a dark metallic Gray which we have named "Stormy". Thank you to Hagerstown Ford for what you did for us. He doesn't fit the stereotype of a car salesman and I felt like he listened to what I needed not only price wise but he also took into consideration that I drive about 150 miles a day to and from work. He was honest about my options and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. It's nice to feel someone has your back in this day and age. What a wonderful experience. :)

I purchased my Mustang on December 21, 2013 from Hagerstown Ford. About 5 weeks prior to my purchase, I drove 230 miles up I-81 from Roanoke, VA simply to look at the Mustang and decide if the car was clean enough and nice enough for me to consider. Charles Gesford was the salesman that greeted me when I arrived and showed me the Mustang. Without asking he got the keys and allowed me to climb all over the car to thoroughly check its condition. Having worked in the automotive industry for over 12 years I understand very well the reputation that automotive sales people tend to get for being pushy. Mr Gesford never once pressured me or tried to push me in any direction while I looked at and drove the car. He allowed me to make my own decisions on the purchase, and I really appreciated that. Before I finalized the paperwork, Mr. Gesford went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the vehicle. I could not have been happier with my buying experience with Hagerstown Ford.

We have purchased several vehicles throughout the years and have dealt with many people. They were always pushy. I always felt like I didn't get what I really wanted. They'd rather push a different vehicle on me. And push a lot of extra things we never really wanted. We spent the morning walking around the lot looking at the vehicles before they even opened. Went and had some coffee. Then came back. Reggie came out. And from the first "hello" , we felt like he was there to give us ONLY what WE wanted and needed. We told him the car we were interested in. He got the keys and we all went for a ride. He answered every question with intelligence. He knew every thing we needed to know about the car. He never once said "i don't know" or "I'll have to check". Comments we've heard many times throughout the years. He never once tried to push a different car on us. Or push a bunch of extras we were not interested in. Reggie was a pleasure. And we truly hope that he is still there in 3-4 years when we go looking for another vehicle. We will definitely recommend the dealership. We've been telling every one to go ask for Reggie!Mike Branson was also a pleasure to work with. He got us the best financing possible. Jack Harris is a very friendly and honest sales person. He previously worked at Frank Kennedy Ford in Middletown, MD prior to its closure. I ordered a new F150 with some non-standard packages from the factory. Hagerstown Ford matched the Costco Auto Program quote. Jack was helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive. He even responded to my late evening texts about the order while I was on travel. When the truck came in he took care of everything as he said he would, he gave me his undivided attention at our scheduled pick up appointment, and he thoroughly explained the new Ford electronics to me. This is my 6th Ford truck and I expect it to be at least as good as the previous 5 :-) I doubt I will buy any other Ford vehicles from anywhere else. Thank you!

I searched the Hagerstown Ford website and saw the Honda that I wanted and quickly called. When I called and spoke with Chris he promptly assessed my credit situation and was able to assist me into the car with a great monthly payment. I expressed how much I hated going to the dealership and filling out paperwork, he had almost all necessary paper work ready and It was an in and out experience. I have continued to send people to Chris and continued to work with him in trading out of that vehicle and into a nicer one over time. Every time I call he is knowledgeable and kind. If you decide to buy a car and have a few credit hiccups call Chris. He is awesome.

This was my first time buying a vehicle from Hagerstown Ford and it probably want be my last. My Uncle saw the Ram truck I had been looking for on their website. So my Mom and I went over the next morning and met Chris. Him and I went on a test drive and he explain the truck to me and the all bells and whistles to it. When we got back we talked more about the truck and the price. He was never pushy or made me feel like I had to make up my mind right then and there. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions with ease. When I desided to buy my truck he then got Mike Branson to help me with Financing. Mr. Branson was also very patient with me and took the time to explain everthing to me. When I left the dealership I was very happy with all the services I received while I was there!!! We traveled approximately75 miles to go to Hagerstown Ford to look at a specific car that they had in inventory. We were greeted by Christin Ditch when we arrived. We could tell that she was new to the business but she was very knowledgeable about the car at which we were looking. During the test drive Christin was explaining the features of the car and how they worked.My decision had been made that this was the car that I wanted and if the price was right I would leave with the car that night.After returning from the test drive we worked with Christin and Chris Mason in arriving at the final price. It was a low pressure environment, very easy going and some laughs along the way.Unfortunately I cannot remember the name of the gentleman that helped in the Finance department, probably due to the excitement I felt about the car. He was very professional, handled the details in a very organized manner and in short period of time.After all the paperwork was finished and I had the keys in hand Christin took the time to program my phone to work with the Bluetooth capabilities of the car. Once that was done she showed me how to use the system and make a call.This was without a doubt the most pleasurable car buying experience that I have ever had. Well worth the trip to Hagerstown Ford. Came in first because I had a deal from the DC Auto Show to test drive a Ford. Met their salesman, Doug Taylor, on that first visit. He was very helpful & knowledgeable about the C-Max Energi we test drove. I was impressed enough with the car that I brought my wife back to test drive it a couple days later. In the end, they worked up an excellent lease deal for us and we bought the C-Max Energi. Doug and the rest of the team made this an enjoyable experience. Looking forward to working with them over the next few years.

Mr. Doug Taylor provided us with exceptional service. Not only was he professional but he was very courteous and seemed to care about our needs and what vehicle would work out best for us financially and that we would be happy with long term. Our overall experience was very good. The weak spot was the finance person we dealt with - we waited entirely too long for the paperwork to be completed. Other than that, the experience was great. I came to Hagerstown Ford with no expectations of finding the right vehicle for my wife. Our minivan's transmission had just gone out three days prior, and, at the time, we were just looking around to see what was in our area for sale. My wife and I, along with our oldest son and daughter, were just going to drive around the lot to see if anything caught our eye. We were approached by Cheyenne Love. She wanted to see if we needed anything. I explained we were looking for a vehicle that my wife would like, that would seat 5-7 people, and that I could afford. Cheyenne suggested the Ford Explorer as a possible vehicle, so we followed her to take a closer look. My wife had already mentioned that she was interested in the Honda Pilot, and our next stop would have been the Honda dealership across town. It turned out, while looking at the Explorer's, we spotted our future vehicle, a 2010 Honda Pilot. Cheyenne was great. She helped us check it out, let us take it for a test drive, and was fantastic when it came to working through the paperwork involved for us to buy this vehicle. Cheyenne, in my opinion, couldn't have been more helpful. She is a fantastic salesperson. After working out the deal with Cheyenne, next came the Finance Department. Cheyenne introduced my family and I to Michael Branson, who was also great. Our credit history and scores have made any kind of deal like this challenging in the past. He was very understanding of our situation, worked very hard to secure the financing we needed, and got us into our new used car that very same evening.Overall, my experience with this dealership has been outstanding. Everyone is so friendly and energetic when it comes to servicing their customer. This dealership will continue to be my first stop for vehicles and service.Good customer service is hard to find anymore. The folks at Hagerstown Ford, Cheyenne Love and Michael Branson for sure, have mastered it.

Went into the dealership having shopped on a Sunday and communicated with Jack who very creatively left his card on a magnet on the side of the truck. The majority of the details had been worked out by e-mail which made the trip to the dealership pretty painless. We worked out a few bugs pretty quickly and I ended up with a great truck. Jack was fantastic to deal with, as was Mike in the Finance office once the deal was done. I've passed out their business cards to several of my friends and will look to them with my next Ford purchase.

My wife & I were looking for a 2nd 4x4 used vehicle with a monthly payment of around $250/mo. Tex came out to us almost immediately as we were looking at the 2004 Nissan. I told him what I wanted and the payment range. We tried out the Nissan & went in to work a deal. Tex met all of my requirements for purchasing a vehicle. not only that, there was only one set of keys &one remote. There was also a small hole in the driver's seat. We got a 2nd key & even got another key & remote. Tex also sent the Nissan to an upholsterer and he fixed the hole in the seat. Tex went out of his way to make me a happy customer!

We went to the dealership to look at the trucks in stock & to see what deals were being offered. Our intent was not to purchase a vehicle that day. After we decided to purchase vehicle, it seemed things got rushed & did not have time to go over all the features of the vehicle. Now we have to make another trip to dealership for that. Felt like we were also rushed thru the finance department so we have questions about the paperwork. However, it was almost 8:30pm when we left dealership so both the salesman & finance manager had no issues with working past closing. Hope when we return to dealership, we have a better overall understanding of the vehicle & finance agreement.

I was in search for a good economical vehicle and it had to be a Ford. A friend of mine has an Escape Suv and he told me he really liked it. I took a test drive and even though they didn't have the color blue that I wanted, I settled for a silver one. I dealt with Tex Miller and he was very cordial and honest. Chris Black was very cordial and friendly. The New Car Sales Manager, Smitty was very friendly and apologized that I had to wait for a short length of time to complete the sale, but I was in no hurry. I wanted to take my time. I hope that this dealer lives up to my expectations after having such an easy transaction. My hope is that they service well what they sell!

I had the opportunity to work with Jack Harris when I purchased my F250 Superduty Lariet, Diesel 6.7. A couple of the reason's I liked working with Jack and will work with him the next time I purchase a new truck are as follows: 1. The knowledge that Jack conveyed regarding the many features of the truck, (This truck has a significant amount of display options on the control panel that my 2004 truck didn't). 2. Jack, was interested in what I was using the truck for on a daily basis to help understand if the diesel vs gas or 250 vs 350 was the best way to go. 3. Jack, wasn't pushy. In the past I've found salesmen to be pushy and that was turn off. 4. About a week or so after the sale, Jack called to find out how everything was going with the new truck and If I had any questions. 5. Most importantly, Jack was helpful in the process of finalizing the price of the new truck and trade in. At the end of the day, I felt that I purchased a fantastic truck for a price that I didn't pay an "arm and a leg" for. I realize that buying a vehicle can cause anxiety for some people and be an intimidating process for others. I was looking to compare different kinds of cars and was given a very good test drive and explanation of all the features on the Ford Escape. After the demonstrations of all the features on the new Ford Escape, decided this was what I wanted. Trevor was very helpful in showing me how to set the phone. How to use all the different functions and I am very happy with my new car.

Charlie Gesford was there to help me, even as I walked in the door. Led me immediately to several cars of the type that fit my desires. Gave no impression at any time that I was anything more than his #1 customer. Conversational and pleasant on the test drive. Allowed me to take two more drives without him riding along. Paperwork and administrivia were accomplished without undue delay. Charlie listened to my arguments for a lower price than what was first quoted without becoming defensive. I stopped by Hagerstown Ford to look at purchasing a new Super Duty. I asked for Jack Harris and he and I sat down and began working on a deal that would fit my budget on a 2014 Ford F350. He went to war for me and found every discount and incentive he could possibly find. With him and Smittie Smith working together they got me the truck I wanted for a amazing price. No other dealership in the area came even close to what those guys did for me. They also were great with my 4 year old son. He got a little wound up when he has to sit around while the deal was being made. Hagerstown Ford employees would play with him and gave him cookies in which kept him calm. A+ service. Only dealership I will ever deal with again.

My boyfriend and I have tried to possibly purchase a vehicle on 2 seperate occasions. I wish we didnt decide to try again the second time. First visit completely ignored, no one came out of the trailer so we left. Second time I believe we saw at least 3 guys in the trailer but they were busy helping 1 family. And 3 others that were standing around. One salesman said no more than excuse me not have you been helped, do you need help. Oh I'm sorry I came to buy a car not wander around the lot, and now observe 4 people helping 1 family. Ridiculous I would never come back here or recommend to my worst enemy. If they weren't going to sell anymore cars after 8:00 and I mean 8 not 9 when they close. Then a professional salesman that wants business would say I'm sorry we've made out last sale for the night come back tomorrow we open at....

Sold us a Ford F250. The night papers were signed the vehicle had not been inspected & there was not a sticker in the window.They inspected after the fact. This is a lifted truck with oversize tires and it sat that way on the lot for sale. When papers were signed they had switched the oversized tires out to send it home & then had us bring their tires back that night after switching them back. Offered us a warranty then did not honor due to the vehicle being lifted(which need I say the vehicle was lifted when we purchased) Turns out the vehicle had major problems that was noticed on day 3 of owning the vehicle. When we went back to discuss this several things occurred and yes there response will be that they offered to buy it back so I am looking forward to hearing that ONE MORE TIME. Long story short is that we wanted the vehicle we just wanted it fixed. They would not do that. We were advised that there is no warranty even though we were offered one. At the time we declined the buy back used car manager became Irate, Unruly, Rude, Shaky and uncontrollable. He even brought another little guy to stand by his side to witness this behavior & told us to leave the premise & he kept our keys and our truck even though we did not accept the buy back. We had to call the state police to find out that he had no right to do that. We had purchase papers. After getting the papers, the did give us a small check for engine repairs with writing on the back basically saying we are accepting this check & they are done with us. What were we to do because now they were not talking. We had a truck that now they are saying no buy back here is your small check that I think was $2,000 & the repair was $5,000 to have done & we were stuck because we did not do what they wanted. Rick Kelley is the President of the dealership & he could have cared less if we were properly taken care of or not. He did not care that his used car sales manager told his customers to stop bitching! He did not return phone calls for 2 days and when your are this stressed over a major purchase you would like to get it taken care of! Birds of a Feather!! Now 6 months fast forward..We go to MVA and have the truck gifted to our son & they advise us that the truck has odometer rollback & unibody damage! That explains why we cant keep it in alignment & we cannot keep tires from wearing unevenly. The carfax they showed us did not show that. This vehicle went through auction & this information was disclosed at auction. Was their carfax report legal?? I don't know. We pulled from the same sight that the MVA pulls from which is AutoCheck. Maybe Hagerstown Ford should stop selling bad vehicles & we would not see so many bad reviews. There comebacks are all the same. It is the consumers fault. We as consumers know all about the vehicles & should not ask questions. Well I am aware that I could have sold the truck back but the facts are that they sold a vehicle that should not have come off of their lot, backed away so they didn't have to deal with, took their money & ran. Used car manager wont let you get a word in & Rick Kelley just does not care. I would not send anyone I know to Hagerstown Ford. They are dishonest, bullies & only care about money. Could care less what their response is I just want others to know that you should double check the car report on your own. Make sure you have the sticker in the window showing as is, warranty etc. We did not have this. Look at inspection papers. We did not have this. Make sure your sales team is respectable, courteous & mature. We did not have this. We also were not able to get a word in to Davis in order to come to a solution. We were in nice terms bullied at Hagerstown Ford.

Well I bought a 2013 ford fusion Wednesday June 19 2013 I asked if everything was good with the finance I was told they felt everything was good . I know now that it wasn't I know they low ball figures to everyone to get the sale out the door well 2 days later June 21 2013 I get a call from fiance that they couldn't get it to go at the rates they quoted. Now my payment was going go from 486.00 now to 640.00 really are they crazy some people would say that's ok just because they want it so bad but not me they got it back and I came home with my 2012 ford focus that I bought there last year but I can say that I will never go to them again for a car you just don't do that to people and sleep at night so I will not be going there ever again BUT if you feel the need to go there you should talk to Robert Cline a super nice guy and salesperson to deal with

He was willing to go the extra mile and seak out more information on my unique problem. When he was sure he had the correct answer he called me back. He was correct. Problem solved! I was recently sold a car that I was told was AWD.......well it's not..found out after a terrible driving experience in the snow. Tried to return car, which I had only had 3 days......told I could return if I paid all expenses incurred to do so, several thousand dollars. Basically was called a liar..they said they would never make that mistake..........well guess what...they did! Never received an apology, nor did they show any remorse for giving me false information...having no choice, I picked up my car....again no apology, no nothing except coupons for 3 free oil changes....what a slap in the face. They are rude and pushy. I specifically asked if it was AWD because the window sticker did not specify AWD or FWD. All they are interested in is money...no customer satisfaction..no customer service and definetly not wanting a returning customer. My health has suffered due to this situation which is far from over, as I intend on filing a complaint with Ford and The Better Business Bureau. Don'y waste your time or money with this dealership! They are awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have used the service department several times at Hagerstown Ford in the past year. We had our Ford diesel in the service department to have an intermittent electrical issue diagnosed. We were informed that the computer would need to be replaced at a cost of more than $1,000.00. The reason for replacing the computer did not seem correct. According to the service department their best diesel mechanic diagnosed our problem. We took the truck to Cumberland Valley Diesel (CVD) located in State Line, PA. Upon describing the issue to CVD they informed us that they had an idea what the issue could be. They diagnosed the AND fixed the problem. It was a simple poor ground wire. According to CVD this is a common issue and the FIRST thing they check as it is so simple and CHEAP to fix. Cost to fix our truck by CVD $75.00. We recently had our Escape in for an oil change service special. This appointment was scheduled and we dropped off the Escape the night before. Upon arriving he next afternoon to pick-up our Escape the scheduled service was not completed. When they finally completed the service they safety inspection missed a headlight bulb that was burned out. They did provide the oil change for free due to their mistake. Our Escape was just in Hagerstown Fords Service Center for a failed electronic power steering failure. The power steering completely locked and could not be moved. We had the vehicle towed to Hagerstown Ford and since this was a complete failure of the steering we assumed that Ford would want to address this issue. Ford Customer Carecared less about the failure. Hagerstown Ford stated that if Ford wouldnt provide assistance there was nothing they could do to help in this unusual situation. Upon doing a quick internet search it appears that the electronic power assist has a failure rate. Although, most do not completely fail they just stop providing assist and the wheel can still be turned. In our circumstance the wheel could not be moved at all. So this was a complete failure of the steerin system. In addition, I was able to find a Ford dealer that sells parts to the public at cost plus 10%. The electronic power steering column has a MSRP of $850.00. We were able to purchase the same OEM part for under $600.00. I discussed this situation with Tim Rowe, Hagerstown Fords Service Manager. I explained that I found that in fact this issue with our Escape was not unheard of (source NTSB web site). In addition, I could obtain the part for far less than $850.00 his department quoted. I also explained that I understood our vehicle was out of warranty however, this was an unusual situation as the steering completely failed. In addition it was not difficult to deduce that based on the information I found regarding a known failure rate of the part, the fact that Ford as nearly 200 of this cheap parts sitting on the shelf in the warehouse it wasnt difficult to surmise that Ford has an issue. Although, the extent of this issue is likely still being evaluated and studied to determine the scope/cause of the problem. After some discussion Tim offered the part to us at cost plus 20%. His departments labor rate is $100.00 per hour and according to Tim it would take 4.5 hours to replace the part ($450). I believe this offer was more out of frustration that I found the part such a great price as he couldnt believe that I could purchase the part the price I quoted. I had sincerely hoped that either Ford or Hagerstown Ford would have offered to provide some assistance in this situation; if for no other reason than to show good faith to a long time Ford Customer. It certainly would have been in Hagerstown Fords best interest to offer some assistance to try to keep us a customer. After all, we live less than 1 mile from the dealership. I gave both Ford and Hagerstown Ford many opportunities to make the best out of this situation; however in the end neither was willing to make the best of a bad situation. I explicitly explained to both of them I did not expect the work for free but some good will would have gone a long way in this circumstance, considering the steering completely failed. The upside to all this is that I was able to find a very good shop, Battleview Service located in Boonsboro, MD that completed the work at a significantly reduced price compared to Hagerstown Ford. Battleview was able to install the part AND program it without any problem. They were very courteous and professional. I should also mention that we tried to purchase 2 new Escapes from Hagerstown Ford. The first time they tried to pull a switch on us we specifically as for pricing on a 4x4 and they quoted us pricing on a 2x4. I questioned the pricing several times and was told that the pricing was correct and it was a GREAT deal. We were prepared to sign when I noticed the exact model was a 2x4 suddenly the price for a 4x4 was inserted not such a good deal. The 2nd time they were not able to match the price of dealership 45 minutes away and they kept giving me the run around. I also looked at used vehiacal that had supposedly passed an inspection and was ready to go. I found several issues including, burned out headlight, ripped wiper blade, burned out turn signal bulb and a burned out license plate bulb. I cannot recommend Hagerstown Ford sales or service based on my personal experiences outlined above. I can confidently recommend Cumberland Valley Diesel (CVD) for your PowerStroke and Battleview Service for other work. As a long time Ford owner (more than 1 million miles behind the wheel of a Ford and a Ford owner since age 16 -38 year Ford owner) I am uncertain that the next vehicle will be a Ford based on my recent experience with Ford Customer Care. If Ford decides to contact me and make this situation better, which is extremely doubtful based on my phone conversations with them, I will update this review.

I have been a loyal Ford customer for the last six years to Hagerstown Ford. I have purchased three personal vehicles and three 12 passenger vans for my company. When one of our company vans experience engine problems, I was told the only solution was a new or used motor with the new motor costing $7,000.00. I questioned my service agent if there was another way the engine could be repaired and was told that a new or used was the only solution. I stated that I would have the van taken to another service mechanic and if the engine could be fixed then I would not be back to Hagerstown Ford, to this the Service Agent replied "sorry to hear that". The Service Agent knew that our company vans provides transportation for special needs adults. How sad that Hagerstown Ford shows such little respect and concern for our special needs population. By the way, the van that they wanted me to spend $7000.00 for a new motor was fixed by Harding Service Station for less than $600.00. I do not recommend ANYONE to purchase or have repairs done by Hagerstown Ford.******Update******We were contacted by Tim about our concern and he went above and to take care of our issue. We will continue to use Hagerstown Ford for our business and personal needs. Thank you very much!

I was looking into buying a 2012 Ford Edge. I called around to most of the Ford dealers in my area, including Hagerstown Ford. I had the pleasure of speaking to Chuck Wade, who constantly kept in touch and answered all my questions politely. When I went there the next week, I met with Chuck, who was there and who had cleared out an appointment just for me, he was prompt and responsive with fair answers. Chuck and Mike gave me a decent price for a black Ford Edge that I was in love with. They were funny and nice and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I left happy. Then, the next week or so, my Edge's check engine light came on. I was on my way to work and I was extremely upset. I called Mike and he was quick to respond to my call. He even sent out 2 of his employees to meet me at work and pick up my Edge to bring it to their dealership to get it checked out. When it turned out that it couldn't be fixed that day, and being that it was a Saturday on a holiday weekend, he sent one of his staff, Daniel, out to bring a brand new limited Ford Edge for me to drive until mine was fixed. Daniel got there before I left that night and was extremely nice and informative. The staff here is amazing! I definately recommend Hagerstown Ford to anyone!!

Hello: I am Rick Michael & I had an unfortunate dealing with the service dept., as the manager & assist. manager were not around. The work never was done & when I returned to the Dealership, I had a talk with Mr. Tim Rowe, the manager, & he made me a GREAT! offer to get my Mustang GT worked on. He & Dennis Samuel had someone from the dealer come to my house in the morning to pick up my car & take it to the dealer (at least 25 minute 1- way drive. They did the work & Dennis called me up to inform me that the work went perfect & that someone would be driving my car back to my house. I was quite surprised to see that the manager, Tim Rowe, drove the car himself & couldn't have been nicer to me. T feel that what they did gave me tremendous confidence in this dealerships ability to do professional work & I was very! satisfied with both gentlemen's attitudes toward me, which was superb. Probably 10 people waiting after they were closed. I thought this was very thoughtful. I loved the way Charlie treated us through the whole time we were there. Great place to buy a car.

Tried many Ford Dealerships closer to our home to find the vehicle we wanted to purchase with no luck. We found the 2011 Ford Fusion with everything we wanted at an incredible price. Within just minutes of requesting information of the Fusion we were contacted and got the process moving for the purchase. Two days later we drove 1 1/2 hours to pick up the car. We were in and out with our new vehicle very quick with no problems. Was the easiest purchase we ever made. All of the staff at Hagerstown Ford was amazing especially Justin Mooney. I BROUGHT MY 2011 F-150 ECO-BOOST IN FOR AN ENGINE PROBLEM THAT OCCURED WHILE ON A TRIP. HAGERSTOWN FORD FIXED THE PROBLEM BUT SINCE THEN MY GAS MILEAGE HAS GONE DOWN THE TUBES!!!! MY 3.5 IS RATED AT 15MPG-21MPG!! I'M HAVING A HARD TIME JUST TRYING TO MANTAINING 15MPG. IF I DON'T BABY THE TRUCK I CAN'T QUITE GET 15MPG!!! I WAS TOLD BY TWO DIFFERENT SERVICE PEOPLE THAT I COULD NOT GO BY THE DIGITAL READOUT ON MY DASH!!! SO MY QUESTION WAS WHY DOES FORD PUT DIGITAL READOUT ON A VEHICLE IF YOU CAN'T GO BY WHAT IT SAYS? BESIDES THAT WHEN I GOT THE TRUCK NEW THE(MILES TO EMPTY DISPLAY) READ 400+ WHEN I FILLED IT UP NOW IT WILL ONLY READ 300+ WHEN FULL!!!!! I MIGHT ADD THAT THIS IS THE FIRST FORD I EVER BOUGHT !! Truck had coolant loss,low power problem.Truck had Egr/oil cooler replaced under warranty,but when I asked to have them look further in to the engine,they refused.I still had a coolant loss problem,and I called them about it.I was told the truck might have been pushing some air out of the system because of the repairs. After calling them again/again about still loosing coolant,I myself tested the trucks coolant system pressure. I found the truck had blown head gaskets.When I called them up about what I found,they said your warranty ran out by time.Even though there was only 2,800 miles put on the truck from when they made the repairs. Also no more Fords will be here because since Hagerstown Ford fooled me around,and did not make the correct repairs the warranty ran out during this whole thing,and Ford was pretty nasty. No bail out for Ford because of screwing people. So $5000 of my own had to be paid to have the repairs made,and I did not have Hagerstown Ford do the work.DO NOT LET THEM WORK ON YOUR DIESEL EVER!!! You might get a good deal on a car/truck from the sales staff,but after the sale go somewhere else. Unless you have no need for the vehicle because of dropping it off so many times for service,and not having the repairs made correctly.I will never even window shop there,and I make sure I spread the word about my experiences. As you can see I am still warning people. Save your $$$Please people tell about your dealings with Hagerstown Ford this is your chance. Good/bad this is the chance to have your voice heard.

I had a nice 99 Ford Ranger with 217,000 miles, until the second car waiting at a stop sign at the intersection, where I had right of way, decided to go around the car in front of them and run into me. I had no idea what to do. I visited several car dealers looking for a new vehicle I was comfortable with. The Dodge guy drives a GM (not a good sign), the Toyota dealer, and product, was I have to admit, good, and I did test drive it. I went into one Ford dealer who I guess, decided by way I was dressed (from work), I could not afford anything. Then I went to Hagerstown Ford, and fortunately met Jack Harris. Again, I was coming home from work (holes in jeans and a little grime on me). That did not matter to Jack. He treats his customers with respect and friendliness no matter how they look, and understands the world we live in. He is low pressure, and up front with costs. No hidden expenses come up as the deal is being finalized. He is extremely organized, honest and friendly. And talk about knowing the product, guess he must read the books in his spare time. He did not hesitate or have to look anything up; the answers were on the spot and turned out extremely accurate. He looked for every advantage he could to help us, including rebates, availability and (because I work for an automotive supplier), employee discounts. Now as great a guy as Jack is, I also have to say that my experience and faith in other support staff at Hagerstown Ford (Sherry and Brian), was also fantastic. I am now the proud owner of a Ford F150 Super Cab XLT, with all the bells and whistles. And I feel much is owed to Jack for helping me see the value of this truck. As I said, I drove the Toyota, loved it. But then, after taking this F150 for a spin, there was no comparison. My family has typically gotten 200,000 to 300,000 miles or more out of Ford trucks, and been very satisfied with them. I have to say, my daughter and wife will be looking for new vehicles in the next few years, and we will be going straight to Hagerstown Ford, with Jack Harris's card in hand. Do yourself a favor if you are thinking of a new vehicle, go see this guy; he will become more of a friend than a car salesman.

I was very satisfied with the service I received. They were very courteous, friendly and helpful. The price was good, given my credit rating, and I found the exact type of car that I had been seeking. The process was easy and I was especially pleased with the extended warranty. I didn't expect that and it was a most pleasant surprise. I would most certainly recommend the dealership to anyone looking to buy a car.

Jimmy helped me purchase my vehicle and was extremely helpful! He has a great demeanor and attitude, and kept the visit interesting! He is not your typical salesman, he can actually be honest, objective and still make you laugh at the same time! He went out of his way to find the exact car I wanted even though it was 3 hours away, and then went to get it and made sure I got it the next day! He did everything possible to accomadate me throughout the purchase. I don't think I could buy a car from another dealership or sales person ever again!

We have both agreed that this was the most FUN we have had purchasing a car. We were straight forward with him, and He treated us with the same respect. I walked in, asked for Jimmy and he was right with me ready to help me find exactly what I was looking for. It was a spontaneous decision to trade my 2008 Fusion in for a newer one so I was not prepared with useful information, but Jimmy took the time to make the necessary phone calls to get the information needed in order to get the process started.I walked in at 4pm just looking/discussing any possible deals and walked out the door at 7pm (that includes the time it took to drive back home to get my trade in car) with the keys to a new 2011 Fusion. I will definitely be back in the future!

Our saleman John Christopher Smith was awesome!!! I had called over two days in advance about a vehicle, and he had it put away so I was going to drive the same vehicle I questioned him about. When my wife arrived at Hagerstown Ford, she was given the up-most attention, and answered all the questions she may have had. All to say, we drove away in a 2011 Ford Fusion SE. I would recommend Hagerstown Ford, and especially my salesman to any of my friends. Mr. Smith showed the professionalism one would expect when buying a new car. I can honestly say, he had our best interest in mind; meaning, we were not pressured in purchasing a new vehicle. This is something I value a lot. When we visited other dealerships, I surely did not get the same respect and diginty I got from Mr. Smith. We had no issues what so ever with our new car puchase. Our salesman, Jack Harris went out of his way to get the paper work done as efficiently as possible. Also, it may not seem like a big deal to most but when we went to look at the vehicle, instead of trying to keep us there really late to finalize the sale (past dealers have done to us), he saw that we had young kids and suggested that he stay and get everything together and for us to come back the next day if we still wanted to move forward.

We first met Jack Harris in the spring of 2007; however, we did not purchase a vehicle until December of that same year. Since that time, our family and referred friends have purchased 11 vehicles in 3 and half years. Jacks product knowledge is exceptional throughout all Fords vehicles. He is very straight forward and will not misrepresent the price, vehicle, sales, finance, and service departments. Jack will always make time for his customers before, during and after the sale. Jack even stayed after the dealership had closed to take care of us on one occasion. Jack is not only a salesman, but he will treat you like a friend. He makes the experience of purchasing a car less stressful than other salesmen at other dealerships we have dealt with in the past before making this Ford dealership the only one we will purchase from. I would not hesitate in recommending Jack to anyone nor will I purchase from anyone other than Jack. He will go out of his way to make sure you are a satisfied customer.

I absolutely enjoyed the entire experience of buying my new truck from Hagerstown Ford. Within a few seconds of entering the showroom, John Smith asked if he could help me with anything. I told him what kind of truck I was looking for and we went from there. At first, as with many, I was skeptical about the Ecoboost V-6 compared to the standard V-8 engine. John allowed me to test drive a V-8 and then the Ecoboost to compare the two vehicles. I thought this was great. Not only did he explain the differences but he allowed me to experience them first hand. Once I drove the Ecoboost, I was a believer. In addition, John had the greatest personality. Talking to him was like talking to a long time friend. I would definitely recommend Hagerstown Ford to friends and family; and especially recommend John Smith as the salesperson.

He accompanied me on 2 test drives - one in a Fusion(comparable to my priorcar) and the second in a Focus which he could tell I was more comfortable in.He explained very well the features, warrenty, etc. that I needed to know and made sure that I understood everything and answered any questions I had.Smittie made my experience very pleasureable and I am extremely happy with my new Focus and to be a part of the Ford family.

I contacted Haggerstown ford looking for a used 4wd truck. I was put in touch with Jimmy Bussard. We discussed my needs and my trade in. He did a bit of research and got back to me with in a few hours. He had a truck that he felt would meet my needs and budget.Since I live about an hour away from the dealership he offered to bring the truck to me to look over. He had sent me photos of it via the internet and I too felt that it would meet my needs. He brought the truck to me to look at that evening. I took it for a test drive, he did a quick inspection of my trade. We had a deal. He took the truck back to the dealership for detailing and inspection with the promise of delivery the following day. He then delivered the truck as promised. All paper work was completed and signed at my home. Jimmy was professional in every way. He was friendly,listened to what I had to say and matched me to a truck that I will keep for years to come. He did everything he said he would do.This was the most hassle free car buying experience I have ever had. I never had to leave my home. My wife and i were looking for a economy car with high gas mileage. My wife drives a long distance everyday and with gas prices high we were looking for our best value. We went to Hagerstown Ford and saw Jimmy Bussard sales rep who helped us out for what we were looking for. At the time there was no car on the lot what we had wanted but Jimmy found one at another dealer and got it back to Hagerstown Ford for us to pick. We explained to Jimmy what we had to work with in terms of down payment and what we wanted in payments and warranty. He was able to make this happen for my wife and I and was very impressed from the time of talking to Jimmy to seeing Chris Reid in the finance department. Everything went well with no hitches and a very well customer experience which indeed I would return to buy other vehicles at Hagerstown Ford from Jimmy Bussard also recommend friends and relatives to see him. Our salesman (Jimmy) helped us each time and made sure everything was taken care of as it should have been. He would always and still does take the time out of his busy schedule to help us with whatever question or issue we had. On Saturday March 5, 2011 I visited Hagerstown Ford in Hagerstown Maryland to purchase a vehicle that was advertised on their website. The car advertised was a new 2011 Ford Mustang convertible. Unfortunately, it didn't go so well. It turns out the car wasn't new. It was a dealer demo car. When we got to the dealership and got it out of the showroom for a test drive, there were several scratches in the paint and one of the wheels was pretty banged up. But all that was ok, because I figured since it was a demo I could get a really good deal. The salesperson (Toby) we were working with apologized for the condition of the vehicle and said he was embarrassed it was advertised as new and in that condition. Then it all went downhill, following the test drive and after sitting at the sales persons desk waiting for him for about 20 minutes so we could work out a deal, an older lady came out claiming to be the sales manager told us the car had been in an accident. All this after the car was advertised as brand new on their website. The dealership misrepresented the vehicle on their website. Needless to say I wasn't very happy. Especially considering my father was in the dealership Friday and spoke w/ a sales person (Justin Mooney) about the car and no one bothered to tell him the car had been in an accident and no one bothered to tell me until after I wasted my whole afternoon getting up there, taking the test drive and all that. I'd love to know how they can think a car that has been in an accident and has 4100 miles on it is "new". Had I known this information prior to visiting the dealership I wouldn't have even bothered. They then proceeded to try and sell me the car which was in a wreck and had 4100 miles on it as brand new. They advertised on the car they were selling it for $33,000. They did show me an invoice that was supposedly for the repairs to the car. Turns out they were claiming it had about $8500 worth of damage but who knows if that was really the truth. I asked if there was any frame damage to the car and they said no. Then I flipped to the back-page of the repair invoice and there was a charge for 5 hours of frame labor. So the sales manager at a Ford dealership lied straight to my face. The worst part of all it is at no point did anyone at the dealership offer to order or find me another one just like what they had at the dealership. I would have been perfectly happy to order one or have them find me one just like the one I test drove that hadn't been in a wreck. And then when I tried to express my disappointment in the dealership, the process and the fact that I wouldn't be getting my new car, the sales manager wouldn't even let me speak, she kept cutting me off and then another gentleman came out from the back and told my girlfriend and I if I didn't want the car I had to leave. I assume this is because the sales people in the dealership didn't want other customers to know they were trying to sell me a wrecked car. I even asked him for more details about the repairs done to the vehicle and all he said was he didn't know. It was quite embarrassing being asked to leave and escorted towards the door like that. So we left and on the way to our car, I saw another couple looking at the Mustang that had been wrecked. I walked over and told them not to waste their time, it had been in a wreck and the dealership was trying to sell it as new. The man who told us since we didn't want the car we had to leave then came running out the showroom door and followed me to our car and said I shouldn't be telling people the car had been hit or something to that effect. I guess customer service, satisfaction and the first amendment aren't important to the folks at Hagerstown Ford. I would expect better from an authorized Ford dealership. The actions of Hagerstown Ford yesterday really call into question the integrity and customer relations of the entire company.

I will never go back! The Salesman was sooo pushy and rude. They would say anything to lure you in but in fact they were full of BS. The salesman told me that ford was only maker of bluetooth technology in vehicles. What?! My 06 Jeep has built-in bluetooth!oh no, I was wrong according to him. If they had the perfect vehicle I still would never ever go back.

Personnel are friendly and before and while you are there, you are given the utmost attention. After they have your business and your money, that is a different story. I have sent three emails and have gotten no responses.

PLEASE READ!!<br><br>There have been far too many problems to list, so I'll give just a few.<br><br>I purchased new 03 F-250 in Sep/Oct 03. The vehicle had a small dent in the left front fender well. I was assured that this could be repaired without having to paint the vehicle. This was not the case. While my vehicle was there, for the repair, it received a sizable gouge<br>in the paint. When I came to pick up the vehicle, I pointed out the new damage. I was told it would be taken care of and that they would detail the vehicle, since it didn't get a good detail the first time. When I came back a few days later, they had repaird the ding, but where the original dent had been, there was now small bubbles in the paint. There were also, very obvious swirl marks where they had burned the finish with an orbital buffer. The Service Manager said I was making too big a deal out of such a small blemish but would take care of it. I also had discovered that the passenger mirror had a tendancy to come apart at the mold seam. They said they would address this. I had to go out of town and did not want to leave my vehicle there, so I said I would come back in several weeks to a month. When I came back, I was told that the mirror could not be fixed under warranty because there was a SLIGHT rub mark on it, from<br>where I lightly brushed it at a very low speed. The Manager said he could tell there was absolutely no damage and even remembered me<br>bringing it up last time I was there, but said I was out of luck. I was referred to the Paint and Body shop where I was told that it would be at least 3 MONTHs before they could get my vehicle in to repair the damage THEY had caused. I left my name on the promise that they would call me when they could get me in. They never called. It has been nearly a year since I purchased my vehicle.<br><br>These are just a some of the many, many problems I encountered with<br>this dealership. I have spoken with the Service Director and get anything from genuine concern to complete apathy but nothing gets resolved. I am considering legal alternatives. Submitted 16 Aug 04
