My second experience was just as wonderful as the first! I was greeted by a pleasant young man named Micah who asked some basic questions, and then inquired if I had previously worked with a salesman at Hagerstown Honda. Upon finding that I had, he promptly went to inquire where my previous sales person was currently. That showed me that this is not an "every man for himself" dealership, but rather a team. It didn't take long for John, my previous salesperson to greet me. He patiently waited to hear my list of "wants" and with just a few questions and inquiries I was in a new vehicle. The whole process took maybe 3 hours tops, with me returning to sign papers and find a sparkling new car waiting for me. Thank you John Williams, Micah, and Hagerstown Honda!

Was calling to see if they sold weather stripping for a Honda civic. It was 4:40, they close at 5pm. I understand it was late but I just needed a yes or no. The Front desk lady answered and politely transferred me to someone, who then transferred me to the parts department. After being on the phone for a total of 8 minutes and constant ringing, someone picked up and hung up on me. You're on the clock til 5pm, not 4:50.

Richard, the online sales manager, was great in setting up a time to test drive the vehicle.Ryan Harnish, the sales representative, was polite and very professional. He answered all my questions and was great on the test drive. He made sure to make me comfortable with the vehicle and with the paperwork. He was able to work with me on a cash price that was within my budget.I am very satisfied with my car buying experience at this dealership. It is also convenient so I can feel comfortable about returning for any service I may need in the future.

This place would rather lose a sale, and a future client, than figure out what the price would be for a MD resident who wants to buy an "as is" car off their lot. I will take their cue and never buy from this dealership and if they own others I will avoid those too. What's particularly strange is that they are lowering the price and I was willing to pay more on top of the higher asking price. Smdh. Bad business.

Chad Black was helpful, personable, and thorough. He made sure I had a complete test drive, and he did let me know that warranty and extras in that regard were not part of his area of sales, so I was not surprised when the pros and cons of aftermarket insurance were offered. The business office did help me with a reasonable compromise financially considering my retired situation.

Overall the experience was a 4/5. Chad Black was my sales representative; he was great to work with from being informative about his product to his easy going manner (not pushy like you might get at another dealer). The only issue I had was that it would be nice to know the full cost of the vehicle potentially from the start. I found out at the closing of the deal with the finance person that you pay for the warranty separately from the car so the price of the car actually is higher than you think for it is not part of the ticket price. This is not the dealer's fault but rather I think a company issue. Might be more beneficial to the customer to provide the various warranty options prior to advising client of the final car purchase cost. Those that work in the repair center have been great to work with in making my appointment for an oil change and having my luggage rack put on my vehicle.

They post cars on their website, they look great, and sound great......then you drive there to check them out, and they say, "Oh, you're a MD resident? Sorry, this car/these cars are for 'out of state' sale only. Not for sale to MD residents." So they are trying to sell cars they know or believe won't pass a MD state inspection. They will sell it to you to take to another state where they don't have to provide an inspection certificate prior to sale, then when it fails, it's your problem!

Our salesman, Greg Tyler, was great. Very helpful, honest, and knowledgeable. However, while he was away from his desk (and we were still sitting there) another salesman came over and was obviously looking at the computer screen. He pretended like he was on the phone, but was obviously looking at the screen. It made us very uncomfortable, knowing we had just given the salesman our most personal information and wondering if it was there on the screen for him to see. After the entire transaction was completed, the same salesman stood near my husband and was trying to read the paperwork in his hand. This made us uncomforable a second time. Just before we got into the car to drive away, my husband spoke to our salesman, Greg, about the 2 situations. Greg explained that the other guy was just checking to see if Greg had stolen a sale from him. If this is true, then I feel safe on one hand, but it does make me wonder about the trust issue at this dealership. Why are salespeople sneaking behind each other's backs? As good as the actual buying experience was, these two incidences will most likely keep us from shopping there again.

Started Honda CR V inquiry on phone with Jeff, Sales Manager, being in quality customer service all my life I was extremely pleased, making sure to visit the show room on a day and time he was working was a must for my husband and I because I was so impressed, immediately upon entering the dealership, we were greeted and offered assistance by Alan, Sales Rep. He introduced us to Jeff who was standing next to me with hand outstretched and stated my name and shook my hand, OUTSTANDING!!! Jeff then turned us back over to Alan and again COMPLETE, QUALITY, CUSTOMER SERVICE! Spent way to much time concentrating on finding the vehicle we wanted, relying on their kindness and generosity to only have our expectations plummet, we should have found out what amount we would get for our trade and how the dealership was going to handle the figures when it comes down to business. Overall i am over moon excited about the truck this dealership sold me. They gave me the deal of a life time and i am thankful. It was a used Chevy truck being sold by a Honda/Kia dealership. My sell was kinda put on the back burner the minute i got there. I waited an hour just to test drive the truck. But that was no fault of the sales people themselves. That fault is on management delegating the salesmen to help the bigger sale of another customer over me. The sales women (Laura Kelly) that closed the deal was the best sales person that has ever helped me out PERIOD. She expertly knew everything there was to know about the model, the engine, its capability's etc... Even though from the time i asked about the car to signing the loan documents, the process took 4 hours. I was waiting for help for 2 1/2 hours of that. I very nearly walked out due to annoyance. Laura convinced me to stay and buy from her. Truck was generously priced and the sales women Laura Kelly was a pleasure to work with. Her bosses could could learn a thing or two from her. I thought i would be honest in this review. Thank you

How many times have I ever had an 'uber' pleasing car buying experience? Before my experience recently with Hagerstown Honda/Kia, never! This time it was crazy good! It started over the phone with a super and dynamic Sales Associate, Aaron Schroyer. I had a two page list of approved franchisee dealers from which to choose from to use my bank loan. Fortunately, Hagerstown Honda/Kia was at the top of the list. I went no further. I told him what I wanted to spend and what I wanted. There was no Tom foolery. When I got to the dealership, it was as he PROMISED. The dealership was professional and an A++++ experience. I know,...right??? Well, this was a great start to the new year. Thank you Aaron Schroyer and Hagerstown Honda/Kia for a smooth, professional, and uber-pleasing experience.

I hate buying a car and this is the best experience ever and I will have to change my opinion of car dealers forever, or at least this one. Came across these guys as a result of cars.com. We knew the make and year, and were just looking for best price at lowest mileage. My email inquiry was answered immediately. Jeremy walked around the car live for me while on the phone and informed me of a couple scratches on the hubcap (wheel) on passenger side, and hopped in to "make sure no one had smoked in car"---a question I had forgotten to ask. He was superb. Once we finished our homework and knew this was the car, I needed to secure it for our first-thing-in-the-morning- arrival as it was 90 minute drive for us. Jeremy didn't work the next morning, but came in just for us. Great, great guy. Now to the dealership....my son drove his car up to see if they wanted it as a trade in. No pressure as we had a great price from CarMax just to do the trade. They offered less, but were happy to meet the CarMax price. The financing process was longer than wanted, but it always is, so no knocks there. The gentleman doing the financing was very low key, very professional, honest and efficient. Drove away and had a sensor going off on one of the tires---went right back and was serviced immediately. Seriously, with a car dealership manager as a neighbor from whom we have gotten great service, this was by far the best experience all around. They live up to their motto of 'no pressure'. Jeremy was the best. I'll gladly drive 90 miles the next time I need a car!

So we started 7 months ago. i had not had credit for very long but wanted my wife to have a new van so we went to Hagerstown Kia to see if we could get a new van. I walked in and Laura Kelly (great sales women) started helping us. So I did not have the credit I need ed wet. So Laura Kelly would call my every to month to see how things were going. So nice to have someone care about you and your family. So 12/29/14 I called her and started it over again. The tade in manager gave me a great price on my old van. So my wife found a van she liked and we test drive it. And now it is in my driveway. THANKS HAGERTOWN KIA !! I would and will go back to buy agian.So if you need help buying a car I would say that is the place to go.

Picked up my 2011 KIA Sorrento after engine failed. No root cause to failure was identified. A rental car was also not provided. Picked my vehicle up and it is horribly dirty inside and out!!!! Greasy hand prints all over the outside and looks like blood on my drivers seat. A courtesy wash would have been appreciated

I spoke by phone with David Ainsworth the Sales Manager the night before. Telling him what I wanted in a vehicle, and how I was going to finance it. From what he had to say, I felt sure that it was worth the drive up to Hagerstown. I arrived the next morning and Dave assigned Nate Janes one of his salesmen to assist me in finding the right vehicle. Nate was very knowledgeable with the model that I was interested in purchasing. He was very personable and patient with me. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable and happy with vehicle. Dave and Nate were very willing to negotiate with me and I was very pleased with the deal that we worked out it was a very fair price for my new 2014 CR-V. Nate was very attentive to me to make the sale go smoothly, kept the process moving along from start to finish. I will go back to Hagerstown Honda for my next vehicle!!!

I talked on the phone with the sales manager-telling him what I wanted etc- this car was for my 88 yr old mother. We came the next day. Kyle Wilson pulled up two different models that was in her price range, adjusted her seat and took test drives with her. He showed her other colors that the car came in and answered all our questions. He was mindful of the fact that she couldn't hear well and took it all in stride. The decision was made, finance took her information and in a little over 2 hours we were on our way back home with her purchase. I cannot say enough about this business. I have not met anyone as friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and kind as the people at Hagerstown Honda.

And every experienceI have had there since buying has maintained that same service of excellence along with super friendly staff. Regular oil changes and tire rotations suddenly turn into a pleasant experience of feeling like you are visiting friends. Ray Brosius is who usually assists me with my standard car maintenance and has proven a very trusted ear when choosing tires and different maintenance electives, always greeting me with a smile and is always very honest and fair with prices. We were shopping for a replacement car and ended up leaving with 2 cars from the Honda dealership because we were so pleased with the service and accommodating staff. From the moment we got onto the lot, we were helped right away by Laura (great saleswoman!) who didn't pressure us into anything. She was very helpful with the information about the car. She broke everything down so we could see how our payments would be and she was also very honest when it came to the cars she had vs our needs. Due to that, we ended up finding the perfect car for both of us. Greg (great financial guy!) did his utmost to make sure our cars were covered and we got the best deals. In a lot of dealerships everything is about the money, and we know it is a business, and they do WANT you to buy the cars, but they also take the time to be very personable and friendly. I would have liked to know what my interest rate and terms were before I made a "deal" on the trade and purchase of the vehile, but I understand they don't want to run a credit report until a deal is made. Went to this dealership expecting good things (based on the other reviews) Salesman was Unhelpful and rude. He told us we couldn't take a used car 30 miles away to have it inspected by a family member who is a mechanic. I then asked if the family member could visit dealership and have the car put up on lift to inspect and was told no "due to Liability issues" that is simply lame. I got the impression that the gentleman wasn't that interested in selling me the car. Makes me wonder want was he trying to hide? Also stated that the internet price is "rock Bottom" despite the fact that the car had been there since Sept.. So don't go there thinking anyone will be dealing on a used car....

Feeling good to be back in the saddle again with my 2014 Honda Pilot. I found myself unexpectedly looking for a new car after my family and I were involved in an accident that totaled my 2011 Pilot (the vehicle helped save our lives, by the way!). There was not a doubt that I was returning to Hagerstown Honda, as well as returning to Micah Youngbar as my sales representative; there was NO DOUBT that I was returning to a Honda Pilot. Micah did a fantastic job working with my schedule, waiting out the weather, dealing with my insurance requirements, helping pass some paperwork for me, making sure my rental car was returned, talking with my teenagers (and thankfully laughing at them) and of course doing what he could do to make sure he had the vehicles on the lot that I was interested in. What a polite, courteous, knowledgable representative Micah is, as well as the other staff that night. I also rated quality of repairs because I have used this service several times as a Honda owner. Their service staff and facilities are top-notch. Use this Hagerstown Honda location, and Micah - I promise you won't be disappointed.

I stopped by the dealership on a rainy Saturday to see what they had on the lot. Laura met me and my family with a smile, took her time to answer all my questions, and showed me different cars on the lot that were of interest to me. I was not planning to purchase a car that very day, but Laura worked with me and my schedule and I was able to get the car I wanted when I was available and ready. She has checked in with me on several occasions to make sure I am happy with my car and the service that I receive. She goes out of her way to answer my questions or address my concerns. When I schedule an appointment for routine maintenance, if she is working, she will come to the waiting area to say hello. Service like that means a lot! I was checking CRV's online as I was unfortunately in an accident that totaled my car. I was not happy that I would now have a car payment as well as the expense of a new car. BUT... Ian Smith emailed me and made me an offer so I went in 12/31/13 just to check out the vehicle as I had another place to check out in Winchester. Matt Dixon greeted me and the next thing I know, I am driving out that afternoon with a beautiful new CRV. They bend over backwards to make it as smooth as possible and the finance manager, Greg, was just as wonderful as Matt. I was told that I should look for a car someone is selling as for sale by owner and that my truck wasnt good enough for a trade in. Im just getting back on my feet after a nasty divorce and a bankruptsy caused by it. I despirately need a car that can accomidate my children when I have visitation. I thought dealerships were supposed to at least give it a shot. Well I guess thats not true....

We were looking for a reasonably priced used minivan or crossover as we just added a new member to our family. Hagerstown Honda Kia had a Nissan Quest advertised which looked like a great clean vehicle that was within our budget. I called about it and they said they still had the car so we made arrangements to drive the two hours from our home in PA to see the van. The day of our appointment they even sent me a text to confirm we were still coming so that the vehicle could be brought up front and ready when we got there. We made the drive, I walked in told the salesman who I was and that we were there to see the Quest. He went to speak with I'm assuming the sales manager and came back to tell me the van had been sold the day before. Unless you live five minutes from this dealership I would suggest that you save your gas and look elsewhere.

All I can tell you is you have never had a better experience than what you will get at Hagerstown Honda and Kia. There is not one person we have ever met that did not treat us with respect and class and we have NEVER felt like we were involved in a sale. They are the best from the sales managers to the finance managers to the the sales folks and service folks, we will never go anywhere else. You can just stop by and chat about hunting, dogs, anything at all even if you aren't buying that day. You will be treated so well that you will want to come back again and again, they are that good. If another dealer told you they could not help you, you just call these folks, you will find out who truly cares. Look, they even answeres my email on Sunday when they weren't open, tell me who does that these days. Give them a shot, you will wonder how you did without them, thanks so much!

Justin in sales was outstanding. No pressure, answered all my crazy questions. Was always available to work around our busy work schedule. Found us the car,a 2013 Honda Accord Sedan Touring in red. My wife's dream car. Prior to the sale he spent a ton of time explaining all the safety equipment that this car has. He spent time after the sale helping us connect our cell phones with the car. We found all the staff very helpful. We shopped several other Honda Dealerships and I felt that we got a GREAT car at a GREAT price from Hagerstown Honda. We had pin stripes and splash guards installed a few days after the sale. Bill Crouse Service Advisor was helpful and answered all my questions about other products that we were considering adding to our Accord. The car was returned clean and their work was perfect. My husband and I went to Hagerstown Honda "just to look" and left several hours with a new Fit Sport and a CR-V. Our daughters have one of each, and rave about them, so we thought we'd see what was available. Andrew Puckett was an exceptional sales person - friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and very patient. He answered all of our questions, and he and Dave were great about negotiating what we thought was a very fair price. Darren did an awesome job of handling all of our paperwork and finding great financing for us. We feel that we have started a relationship with a business that truly cares about us as customers - and we love our new vehicles.

I just bought a used vehicle at Hagerstown Honda Kia and was very happy with the experience. I was pleasantly surprised that I did not feel any pressure at all to buy from them. Randy Sanders was my sales representative and he was very professional and patient. He even accompanied me for over an hour to an independent mechanic so I could get an independent evaluation of the vehicle and feel completely comfortable with my purchase. Additionally, they had the lowest price in Maryland or Northern Virginia for the vehicle type I bought. I have a feeling this will not be the last vehicle I buy from Hagerstown Honda Kia.
