The purchase of the car was easy and flowed well. For weeks I kept talking to the sales rep John and he was always there to help me and was always full of patience. Before running my credit, the approximate repayments were very close to those that were established in the bank. The car is in optimal conditions. I recommend this Dealer and his staff in general. They were all generous to me.

I have been a customer at Haldeman Ford since 2013 when I purchased my Fusion. I also own a Mustang convertible which they service. I have stayed with Haldeman because their service department is one of the best around. If there is a problem I find they try to satisfy the customer rather then make excuses for inferior work. For example I had new tires put on that came with a rebate or Ford Pass Points. When I tried to get the rebate I ran into problems. The service dept. could not help me so I contacted Jarred the Head of Service. I asked him if we could meet instead of discussing it over the phone. He said come right over. We sat down and I explained the problem. He contacted Ford and got the correct information for me plus I did a price guarantee on the new tires. I left his office satisfied. That is one reason why I remain a customer at Haldeman Ford. It's people like Jarred who keep me coming back. Thanks, Bob Kidell

The buying experience was very smooth. I called ahead and said I’ll be there in an hour. They had the mustang gt parked right out front. It looked great. I gave it the once over and they gave me the keys for a test drive. After getting back I looked it over once more and said I want it. So then we talked about financing and the final numbers. Of course there were some extra costs thrown in that I had them remove. After coming to a final number the finance guy talked to me about additional warranty which was expected and I didn’t mind learning about it. I had great credit and should have asked for a lower interest rate. But the process went quick so I didn’t have time to think about it and had to get the car put on my insurance right away because it’s a out of state purchase. Overall good buying experience. The sales person, Bernard, was great. They also fill up the tank free of charge before I left. Would buy from Haldeman again. Will update review in 6 months.

The service department is not good. If I have the car washed as part of the service (have to ask for this or present coupon), they don't wash the whole SUV - only 3/4 of it is washed, the entire back is untouched. If they are not able to wash a whole car, are they also completing all the services only 3/4 of the way? When I got my battery changed recently, of course all my settings were lost, but even the one-touch windows didn't work, I had to look at YouTube to figure out how to get them work again - so they didn't make sure the car was returned in good working condition, what about the things I can't see, how well were they completed - I can only assume not well since the things I can see were poor.

Had a great sales experience. Drew was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and made the purchase process comfortable and easy. Was not thrilled with the cars detailing, door interiors were scuffed and rubber mats were dirty. I’d give 4 1/2 stars if I could.

Every time I use the service department at Haldeman Subaru I walk away satisfied. Paul is amazing - so incredibly helpful. He explains everything, describes options available, and is one of the most pleasant, patient, and downright nice people I've ever done business with. This is hands down the best service department I've ever used.

Absolute crooks in service. Took our 2008 mustang in for a recall for the driver side airbag. Picked the car up turned onto 33 and immediately noticed the blinkers wouldn't shut off. Went back and they said switch probably went bad but they would check their work. They called a few hours later and said the spring assembly in the steering wheel was broke and its 350 bucks. This did not sit well with us. Obviously they broke this while doing the recall repair but would do nothing for us. Just said it was not their fault. Have no idea how this place gets away with this..Reported to BBB

I was extremely satisfied with the service I received! My service advisor David Nosovsky kept me informed on the status of the service to my vehicle, and there was no up selling of any unnecessary work that was not needed. All of the other service advisors that were dealing with other customers also treated their customers in the same professional manner.Another important person in the service area is the under appreciated and over looked service technician! Without the technician's training and expertise the vehicle would not have been repaired in an accurate and timely fashion. I would have liked to meet and thank the technician that worked on my vehicle, as my Explorer is running like it just rolled out of the dealership. I could not be more happy!

I love Haldeman Subaru's service department. Paul Goodson has been my rep for the past 3 service experiences and he is the best. He always keeps me informed each step of the way and never lets a day go by without a phone call. He is a true professional. My latest experience with Haldeman and Paul was the best...he went above and beyond to make sure that my car was in tip top shape when it left the service department. I feel that he truly cares about his customers and always strives to do an excellent job.

This dealership and the way it handles business is totally unethical and its treatment of customers after they close a deal and their sales quota is met it totally unacceptable. We went to Haldeman Ford-Hamilton on October 3rd, and a gentleman by the name of John, who sold us a used Chevy Impala and we ended up going home with the car the same day. John who was our salesman, ended up quitting the following week. So basically it appeared that because this salesman just up and quit, the ball was dropped, and a lot of final steps to complete our loan was never done. We were then called by another John and Tylisha from the dealership and was told that, although we signed documents and was supposed to be financed through Wells Fargo, that didnt happen, the loan bounced back. So after about a month of driving around in the car, we ended up being financed and picked up by another financing bank. We left a deposit that was cashed October 9th, and as of to date and its been two months and we still have not received tags or plates on the car. My boyfriend has been late about two times for work trying to obtain additional temporary tags, due to his temporary tags expiring twice. The front plate on the car fell off and that was supposed to be replaced and never was. We had issues with the radio because it gets no reception and Sirius, that was supposed to come with the vehicle, doesnt work due to the previous owner swapping out the original radio that came with the car and replacing it with another radio. We were promised by Tylisha that this matter would be taken care of, that she would get back to us ASAP with a resolution before we went out of town to Ohio. After the promises and the lack of resolving this on her part, I reach out to her again and her reply now is its out of my hands, we were given her cell phone number and we were told to call her and try to track her down to get this resolved. Now after another day of my boyfriend taking off time from work to go in late because he was told by Tylisha that his plates would be in on 12/2/15, now he is told they will be in tomorrow12/3/15. A whole three months of driving around with a temporary tags, missing plate in the front of the viechle and no Sirius radio. I am not too sure what is going on at this dealership, or what they are trying to cover up, but the way they treat their customers after their sales quota is met, is totally unethical. Tylisha also reported our issue to her manager, and no effort of contact or resolution has been made by him either. I was told by Tylisha after the broken promises, and expected customer service, it was out of their hands. Once the deal is sealed and their sales quota is met, you as a customer are irrelevant. The purchase of a car whether new or old is a life time and very important investment, and Haldeman Ford needs to treat their customers as such. -October 3rd- Closed deal with John, car was supposed to be financed by Wells Fargo. Took 2013 Chevy Impala home.-October 9th- 500.00 deposit cashed for tags, title and registration-November 3rd- Get an email and phone call from Dealership that loan with Wells Fargo got rejected, salesman John quit, and we needed to come in on Saturday, November 7th, 2015. -November 7th, to sign paper work with another bank, and to get another temp tag because plates did not come in yet. Also tried to get radio repaired and no one was available. -November 9th, - Contacted Tylisha concerning the radio issue and was assured that everything would be taken care of and Mr. Leroy was told to take his vehicle to the GMC dealership on route 1 to see if the radio could be repaired.-November 14th- Mr. Leroy took his vehicle to the GMC Chevy dealership only to be told that nothing could be done-November 14th- I called Tylisha on the phone and told her that nothing can be done is unacceptable. Someone from your dealership either needs to provide Mr. Leroy with a new antenna or radio or have someone pull out the radio so we can obtain the serial number off of the radio. Tylisha assured me should would take care of this and I would hear from her by the end of the day. -November 14th- 19th No return call from Tylisha-November 19th- Reached out to Tylisha by email and was basically told it was our responsibility to call her on her cell phone.-November 19thWas told by Tylisha through email that she just arrived in the office and she is still working on things, waiting for a response.-November 24th- Now was being told by Tylisha that someone else (no name) was supposed to call Mr. Leroy, she did not get any response or solution regarding our problem and now it is totally out of our hands.-November 24-December 1st- No communication or response from Tylisha-December 1st- Went to dealership because temporary tag expires, was told by Tylesha tags would be in on December 2nd-December 2nd- Notified work would be late and planned to go to dealership to pick up tags. Received a phone call that tags were not in and would be in tomorrow December 3rd. -December 2nd- Finally after 3 months we were called by the bank that decided to give us the loan and still waiting for plates

Great sales dept, also parts and auto body repairs, but the service i won't go back. my clutch went out on me on my 2014 ford Shelby, the service department told me it was driver error my fault. I would have to pay$ 1,800.00. well after I complained about it then ford motor corp, paid half then haldeman paid the other half and I $800.00. now if it was my fault why did'nt iI pay the full bill. I went on my computer and put in 2014 Shelby Mustang G-T 500 clutch problums and there it was 2013 and 2014 Shelbys with owners complaining about the clutch went on them. I had only 900 mils. on my car, i bought 5 Shelbys from that dealership never had any problems with them in shifting or clutch going bad. I bought severel F-150's p/u and traded them in I bought a F250 P/U when I went for service, oil change that was only $430.00 and they top off fluids but when I asked service if they put the emission fluid in they said it was my job to do. I said the light is on that its low they told me that parts dept. will sell me a case $37.00 I had to go out in the cold and fill it up. I will never ever go to service there, I'm finished with service. Now buying a car or ordering part or auto body services I would go with them had no problums there. all a Sales, Financing, everyone in front are super. my salesman Dana Ventura what a nice guy he will go out of his way to hellp you, as well as the others thats including the Managers. I'v bought a lot of vehicles there, and then I have to be insulted by service dept. I have no beef with any other dept. but services.

After dealing with this pathetic excuse of a service dept, i decided to see if another dealership would push me around like they did. Within minutes my car was diagnosed and on its way to being fixed. After nearly 8 months of back and forth with Haldeman Ford with no answers and a car that didn't work, all my faith was resolved in Ford when i simply drove it into another dealership. I will never step foot into Haldeman again. My first and only vehicle purchase from them is a huge regret. You just don't get any.....Service!

However, the only reason i bought the car and made the deal was because of Kevin Dunn from Haldeman Lexus!I originally tried getting approved for a finance at Haldeman lexus, but couldnt, so Kevin referred me to Haldeman ford and stepped me through the entire process. For 3 weeks i couldn't get the dea done, unless, kevin stpped in and through the chain of command, got me,bought! He is a real asset to the Haleman auto, group!

Horrible Business Practice - Will never go back againHaldeman Ford Subaru, 607 Rt. 33, Hamilton Square, NJ is not a good place to buy a car. Actually, they are nothing but a waste of time. I was interested in a Hummer H2, did a search on the internet and found what I was looking for at Haldeman. I inquired about the Hummer H2 and was sent an email from the sales manager that the vehicle was available, so I called and informed them that I was on my way. Got to the dealership and another couple was taking the vehicle on a test ride. That did not upset me, because it is a business. However, here is is the kicker, I found my sales rep that told me to come on down and informed him that someone was interested in the vehicle as well. The sales manager told me to go downstairs and get some coffee, because it would be a 15-minute wait for me to test-drive the vehicle. I did that, and 45 to 55 minutes later, I was still waiting on the status of this vehicle. I fell asleep since I was waiting so long. I find that to be disrespectful, seems to me that the dealership was trying to get the other couple approved first and if they could not get them approved, then I was downstairs waiting. Who, does that just tell me the truth about the vehicle; I drove a good 45 minutes just so that I could purchase this vehicle. You wasted my wife time and my time. I would not recommend anyone buying a vehicle here. Do not waste your time or money. The funny thing about this whole ordeal, I did a review search after I got home trying to find out if anyone else had received the same situation as we did. Wow, the reviews are terrible about this place. Now, I am so happy that I did not receive help.

I had Haldeman Ford do work on my vehicle, sometime after the work was done I discovered that they had broken a part while doing the job. I went back to them and they offered to fix it, If I would pay a $100.00 deductible. Can you believe it? They wanted me to pay for something they broke. The person who worked on my vehicle no longer works there. Gee I wonder why!!!

Myself and a coworker bought Mustangs from the factory while we were deployed overseas. They delivered our vehicles to Haldeman. This dealership wouldn't give us temp plates because we didn't buy it from them. They made $50 per delivery of our vehicles so they didnt care about providing a service or not. The paperwork we had to take to the DMV was incomplete. My coworker waited 3 weeks with his car collecting dust on their lot just to get his tags so he could pick up the car. I took the documents to the DMV myself but even then it took 3 trips due to missing/incomplete paperwork. They were quick to remind us that the car didn't belong to them so they couldn't provide us services, but the first thing they did was place their dealership logo on my coworker's vehicle. They didn't do it to mine because I told them since the car didn't belong to them, not to vandalize my property by placing their advertisement on it. It was a complete nightmare, I would recommend anyone buying a vehicle here. I paid $22,000 for my vehicle, they were selling one just like it for roughly 30k. Don't waste your time or money.

Purchased a used Acura with 80k miles. With in 10k miles, catalytic converter-$700. Now at 93k, head gasket blew and broke something in lower end of motor-$3500. This is quite unheard of in a Honda 2.0 litre motor with less than 100kmiles. The dealer has no want or even empathy to make this right. I was even willing to take a loss on a trade for a new vehicle. I have been assured by 3rd party that their isn't anyway this dealer went over the vehicle before selling it with out knowledge of issue.

If allowed, I will give minus 10 as this is the most horrible purchase experience I have ever had! When the salespeople purposefully cheat you and even put your life on risk, your heart is broken, because they can be sneaky with the purpose of making more money, but if they know well in advance you may die on the highway, they still do it, then they are worse than bullshit. I'm speechless... I bought a car from them end of last week, and only after driving twice, my car completely collapsed. After going through full inspection, I need to pay at least over 3000 to get it repaired, so that it can still go on the way, not saying it's perfect in condition. So far the salesperson, Dana Ventura tried to avoid my call whenever possible. I feel so sorry for him, as I dont know how many customers he has cheated like me, where is his conscience. Can he sleep well at nights?Even worse, they promised to change the windsheild for my car before purchase, hence this is part of the deal. However, the windshield has only installed glass, but missing the left mold. The rain and water can penetrate into the car. If all cars have molding around windshield, this car, of course, should have! The Sales manager Marguerite Traegler told me "You need a windshield, we give you a windshield, I'm done with you." In analogy, she sold me a piece of clothes, but didnt put on any button and I cannot wear it, and she thinks this job is complete?! This is the performance of the whole sales managers, you can image how other sales will behave. So you believe you can buy a reliable car from them, you are being cheated to the fullest, and risk your life as what I did.

My car overheated on my way to work. This was the only dealer close enough to get to. This place took far too long to come to a conclusion on what was wrong. Then the repair estimate was high for an older car, so I asked if they could give me an estimate if they would buy it. It took the sales department about 8hours to come up with a number. The repairs would cost $1000. They would give me $1000. This number is a fraction of the Blue Book value of my car, even at the poor condition numbers. It was insulting and degrading to know that I couldn't even drive the car away.

It was a nightmare from day one. I spent 2.5 weeks trying to get myself or my wife and I into a new lease or a 2-3 yo used truck. Her credit score was 677 and mine was slightly lower at 624.After hearing all the bullshit about special financing and how the banks are the problem, it was clearly evident that the dealership was either not motivated enough to make a sale or their banks did not value their business.I looked at 2 trucks and on a mix of different credit sources in a combo of scenarios (her and I), (just her), (just me), all offers came from Capital One at 16.9% and a jacked up inflated price of the car.But what got me to squeal was the fact that the dealership requested not only 2 work verifications but a home verification. After providing both reluctantly, I was not getting the proper deal I wanted. All I heard was what they couldn't do for me instead of what they COULD do for me. Finally after it was all I could take, I made an appointment with Brunswick Toyota and in a matter of 2.5 hours I drove out with the truck I wanted, at a price I could afford and at a rate that was manageable (9.4).FK Haldeman. Its the second and last time I give them a chance to do business. The final kicker was my financing bank was CAPITAL ONE. And without all the verifications Haldeman asked me for.So much for a hometown dealership.

I purchased a used Nissan Murano from this dealership, which was listed as being sold with a 30-day dealer warranty. I had found the exact same car listed at another dealer that was much further away with 2,000 fewer miles on it, listed for $1,000 cheaper. Since the other dealer was a far drive, I decided to give Haldeman first shot at the sale. I showed the internet salesman the comparable sale at the other dealer, and told him that if he sold it to me for $1,500 less, I would buy it there. He agreed, but told me he could'nt give me the warranty, and would have to sell it "as is". After much back and forth, I agreed, since he insisted that the car was in perfect condition, as it had been thoroughly inspected by them in order to offer the warranty on it. After a week or two of driving the car, the service engine light went on. I took the car to a Nissan dealership to find out what was wrong, and they told me that a valve has failed and both emissions sensors have failed, and that it would not pass PA inspection without both issues being fixed. The repairs cost around $650. I find it very hard to believe that in the few weeks I have owned the car, these things just happened to go wrong simultaneously. I come to find out that NJ doesn't require an actual inspection any longer, but does require an emisions inspection. I am pretty sure that the car didn't really pass the emissions test, since the emissions sensors are bad, but I think that Haldeman passed it so that it would be able to sell it. I am also pretty sure that the car was either never really inspected for defects by them, or was, and these issues were not disclosed. Needless to say, I will never be back to this dealer, and would absolutely never recommend them.

I would not recommend Haldeman to anyone and if you plan on waiting for your vehiclebe prepared for the dungeon. The room does not have WiFi and if would like a coffee be prepared for instant mix with powered creamer. If you prefer water, the water fountain is just great; there are a lot of strange things floating around the drain!!!! As for service, they were going to charge me $250 to replace the rear shocks on my F150. The entire scenario reminds me of all the TV ads you see regarding service scams. About all I can say is ask to see the part prior to letting them perform the work. Be aware they charge $90 per hour plus parts.

I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. My wife bought her first car here and our current Expedition was also purchased here, with no problems. All of my family used to purchase vehicles here. They have no idea what they are doing. I do not know who needs to be fired, but it seems to me they are on their way down in quality. I purchased a 2008 Ford Edge with little difficulty. Nick the salesman was great! But, as soon as the deal was done it was all down hill. First, it was a Valentine's Day present for my wife. When we came to pick it up, there was a dent in the door, mud all over the wheel wells, and dirt running down the outside. The Sales manager said they were too busy to get it done. But, while I was waiting, they said let's resign the contract. It was prepared incorrectly by the finance person, Jim. Once we closed that chapter, we asked that the panoramic roof be repaired and give us some gurantee beacuse it was a certified pre-owned. At that time the sales manager Mike said, ok no problem. The vehicle was cleaned again, and there was still cat hair inside the vehicle and glove compartment???? The panoramic roof was still sticking. We left it and the sales manager was going to have the dent removed. When we came back 3 days later to take delivery we thought everythng was great. But, 10 days later the finance person, Jim and salesman, Nick, were calling with a request to resign the contract for a third time because they miss-dated it. Then the finance person, Jim, came knocking at my door harassing my wife. Threatening here with the Police pulling her over for miss-dated temp tags that they mitakenly did. At that time, I was still unhappy about it being certified pre-owned and Haldeman not giving my the Ford warranty. They informed me the deal was done and Haldeman pre-owned was not Ford pre-owned. I feel they are falsely advertising Ford's program and I gave the car back.

I bought a 2011 Fusion SE from them in January and had a great experience. It started when I requested an online quote - Sandy responded to me within a couple of hours with by far the best price of any dealer who responded. When the car they quoted me on had over 525 miles on the odometer (way too many for a new car), they were kind enough to search for the identical car at another dealership without even asking for a deposit first. They found that car within two days and still honored their original quote. When their other drivers were busy, Sandy even drove up to the swap dealer herself so I could take delivery on time. They also gave me the price I was looking for on my trade-in without any hassle. I can't speak about the other salespeople, but Steve, Sandy and Marge (the sales manager) were all tremendous to me. Two thumbs up!

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. By looking at the website, I thought they seemed very credible, and upon arrival, I felt as if they knew what they were doing. Little did I know, they really knew how to rip a person off. I was trading in a 2008 Mazda6i for a 2004 Mazda Rx-8. I went on Kelly Blue Book before I went and knew the value of each car. It should have been an even trade. Well they pried that the Rx-8 was worth more than the Mazda6, even though the Mazda6 had less mileage and was held a much higher value. They said there were multiple problems with my car I was trading in. I ending up spending an extra $1,100 on the Rx-8. Within a week, my tire had gone flat. Within another two weeks, my engine flooded. Although this happens to many of the Rx-8s, my problem was due to a battery they (Haldeman Ford) put in which was not right for my car. When I called to talk to somebody in charge, they would not put my through to anyone. I looked at their website, I found the Mazda6 priced $3,000 more than what they told me it was worth. My boyfriend then called and finally got through to someone. They refused that they were responsible for anything. They told me I could have my car back for $4,500 on top of the trade that they convinced me was a deal on my end. In the end, they settled to get me a new battery for my Rx-8 after a lot of hassle. But would not negotiate anything further with me. If you want an honest dealership, you probably shouldn't go to Haldeman Ford. THEY ARE CROOKS!

Don't buy cars from this dealer. I purchased a 2005 explorer for $6400 and found out 42 days after purchase that the front diffetencial was defective... and had been doctored so the vehicle could be sold. The stabilizer bar was also hanging and not connected. They refused to fix it though its a defect that existed prior to purchase. Come join me this weekend as i picket and protest in front of the dealership. Coffee is on me. The public deserves to know. DON'T BUY FROM THEM. THEY DON'T CARE

Let me start out by saying that the new Taurus is my 5th Ford purchased from Haldeman Ford. I tell you this, not to pat myself on the back, but rather to let you know what an outstanding job Haldeman Ford has done over the years, since 1984, in both their sales and service departments. All staff at Haldeman treat me like family, I could never see myself going anywhere but Haldeman Ford for my automotive needs. Marguerite Traegler, Haldemans sales manager, is the best. She always takes a special interest in my vehicle purchases. She is a true friend. Dana Ventura, my Sales and leasing specialist, did a great job selling me the 2010 Taurus. In addition to showing me everything I needed to know about the new Taurus, he even took the time to program my cell phone so it would work with the SYNC technology in the new car. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give Haldeman Ford a 25 on my dealership experience buying the new Taurus. I could not be more pleased.

Dean Fuller was great to work with when I purchased my first company vehicle, the 2010 Ford Transit Connect. Everyone was extremely helpful and I would definitely recommend this dealership to others. They have my repeat business when I am ready to add to my fleet of vehicles.

Haldeman Ford of Hamilton Township, NJ:Sold me a deceased persons vehicle w/o Title (or my knowledge). Illegally issued me 3 Out of State temp plates and then lost my Title. 50 Days after purchase and numerous calls to dealership and the NJ DMV & commision, the dealership has applied for another duplicate Title in which I still have not received. Dealer misplaced the Dealerpacket, lost my title, sold me a vehichle in which power of attorney was not issued, did not issue reassignment paperwork, did issue illegal temp plates and extention note, and only responded to action (still w/ delay) after direct calls from the NJ Dealer Unit complaint board/Commision. Definitly not recommended for anything! they Suck!
