My salesman George Savoy was great. He researched answers for all my questions even when he thought the best deal was on the table. I never felt rushed by him even though I was there until after closing. When I returned to the dealership with questions about the paperwork because numbers were not adding up; Haley staff took the time to review the documentations with me, providing me with additional print outs as explanations. There were moments through out the buying/paperwork process that I questioned if things would have been handled differently if I were male.

This was actually the first time buying a car on my own and my salesman, Nat Williams, was excellent. He took a lot of time with me, explained everything. He made me feel at ease because i was nervous. He taught me everything about the car I chose, he answered all my questions. He was very patient through the whole process. The finance manager, Greg, was very helpful. Him and I talked, went over my credit and he advised me on several items, he was so kind and understanding about everything. Greg gave me some excellent ideas for my future. I was very comfortable with both of these gentlemen.

I cancelled a service contract on 6/15/16. In trying to follow up on the refund, I was told it takes up to 3 months to get a check issued from their Midlo. Office. It appears the bank has received a check this week but it is for only half what it should be.

Our family has purchased two Toyota's previously and were needing another car immediately. I reached out via internet sales to inquire about a particular car. Amanda Jackson contacted me within 15 minutes of submitting the request. We set up a time later that day to test drive. Amanda listened to our requests and made the deal happen very efficiently. She was very comfortable explaining the product, very enthusiastic, and not your typical car sales pushy demeanor. A timely response, listening to the voice of the customer, and then exceeding the customers needs with their delivery is a sign of someone who understands the concept of "service". Haley has a great sales associate with Amanda and I would highly recommend her.

The sales representative (Eric Thomas) was helping me with a possible purchase of a used car I found via Internet. I had given him my OTD price of $5000.00 due to the possible issues with the year, make and model of this vehicle according to NHTSA. the sales representative gave me a counter offer of over $10,000.00. I then replied with a "too funny...". The sales representative then returned a response saying why would I put myself or my family in a car with possible issues. He is Sales person and nothing more so why he would make any comment like that is very rude. His job is to sell me a car. Not give me advice to whom who drives my purchased car. The sales representative needs a different job as Customer Service is not for him. I also spoke to the general sales manager (George Mastermaker) (I think) who gave me an incorrect email address to the general manager. I hope all the employees is NOT as bad as the employees the employees I dealt with. I just hope it was a bad day for the sales representative which would explain his rudeness. As far as the sales general manager , I don't believe I spoke to him as he was almost as rude as the sales representative. I believe I spoke to someone else other then the sales general manger because he has very good rating.

Stuart Smith was professional, down to earth, and straight to the point. He didn't mess around. I received a letter from the dealer about rebuilding credit after bankruptcy. I went to the dealer expecting to be hassled and judged about my previous issue but Stuart did everything he could to get me into the car of my dreams. I arrived wanting to lower my payments and get a halfway decent car with a reasonable interest rate... I walked away with a brand new Camry SE fully loaded; My payments are a bit higher than I wanted, but in the long run it just made sense to take the loan and car. I'm continuing to build my credit and I have the most reliable car out there. I will definitely be referring friends and family as well as returning when I plan on purchasing another vehicle.

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! I was treated like the loyal customer that I am. Nat Williams was great, he showed me the car I wanted, not the car I didn't want. He was honest with me about the features and helped what I would like and might not considering what I liked about my 2006 Camry. Julius Smith and Greg Campbell were very fair pricing the car and the warranty. I am very pleased with what I paid. I feel that my experience couldn't have been better! Your financial officer could not handle our putting the our new car in our family trust. Our dealer in Tucson was able to handle it when I bought my Highland there a few weeks ago.

Sales listened to what I needed, GM made sure the vehicle was what I wanted. Our son had totaled my vehicle and we needed a replacement ASAP. There was a misundertsanding when the young lady called. she explained that in order for the car to pass inspection, it needed 2 tires replaced. she explained that there was a sale going on, "buy 3 & get the 4th for $1.00. total cost, including inspection, would be about $600.00. will call you with definite amount". i was shocked when I checked my credit card 2 days later. the charge was for over $800.00. And the young lady forgot to call back to confirm the amount. I went to the dealership & explained the whole thing. The person in charge related the incident to the manager. I received $200.00 reimbursed back to my credit card. I felt terrible for the young lady who was very kind:(

Mainly that we can keep the vehicle in very good running condition for a long period of time. Also, I like finding places I can trust to do what's really needed on my vehicles, and this appear to be one of those. The service is very good, and the waiting room is comfortable and spacious. Our Haley Toyota experience was a wonderful one; we have Mr. Paul Berry, Sales and Leasing Service, and Ms. Jeannine McDevitt, Pre-Owned Car Manager, to thank for that!Like many, we arrived to browse inventory. Our reception began with Mr. Berry, the first to provide us a nice greeting. He listened to our needs, provided us the opportunity to view the lot unaccompanied and then allowed us to test-drive selected vehicles. We test drove two; we remained on the large lot. It was easy to rule one out for comfort; the other remained an option though the available rebates placed the vehicle outside our price range. Next, we requested to view the pre-owned lot for a cost comparison basis again, we did so unaccompanied (and that suited our needs for open communication among my family).We perused on our own time; never feeling rushed. Thirty minutes later we requested a quick test drive of a Ford C-Max (Hybrid). It was a joy to ride. Recognizing our excitement Mr. Berry provided us plates for an extended test-drive. We were able to do so unaccompanied. We moved into discussions shortly thereafter. My offer was firm and fair where I get a good value to me and where the dealership can profit too. My offer was not initially accepted, but the difference was only $400. I remained firm but fair; there was no pressure. After a gentlemanly handshake, we parted. Later that day, Mr. Berry contacted me via a few back and-forth texts (my preferred contact method over phone calls) and shared that my offer was accepted. We headed there the next day to also ask for a possible trade-in too. Again, the number in my head for our trade-in was firm but fair. Within a reasonable time period (and some friendly back and forth), Mr. Berry shared that he was able to meet my set value (which I averaged for my car between fair and good condition). Before signing the paperwork, Mr. Berry provided me a carfax-like document providing the history on the vehicle. I also requested information on the expected life of the brakes and tires. Mr. Berry was unable to provide that specifically, though he reached out to Ms. McDevitt. Ms. McDevitt was unable to pull the paperwork that day (as the car came from another dealership), but she offered to provide measurements for each item. Perfect!Mr. Berry was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! He accepted my firm but fair approach, contacted me in the medium that I preferred and, equally as important, he spoke to my wife as much as he did me very respectful! (My wife also appreciated that!) Ms. McDevitt, who ultimately approved the deal, also ensured my comfort on expected, future maintenance.Need a cargo see Mr. PAUL BERRY!!!!!

My wife got her first Sienna here in 2008. We serviced the car there. She drove it 155,000 miles in 8 years. Was so happy with the overall experience and the car that we bought a 2016 Sienna this month.The buying process both time was pain-free (an unusual statement for car dealers). We were not pressured in getting a car we did not want, they in fact went out of the way to get the exact color and options we specified. They did not pressure us in getting any "special" paint or interior or extended warranty services.I like that, I highly recommend them.

I went in there interested in a car. Way too much pressure on me. I just went in interested and didn't want to feel like I had to come back. I told them I may come back if I I made up my mind but it wasn't easy either. They were all on me trying to make me sign a contract and I let them know a number of times that I wasn't comfortable doing such a things at the time. So I finally left the dealership and they wouldn't stop calling me on my cell phone, leaving me voicemail and basically hounding me about going back to them. Sorry, but you should have some class and give people some space to want to do business with you. Not my type of people, sorry. I ended up going to a different Toyota dealership and bought a car from there. They didn't pressure me, treated me with respect and didn't call me 5 times a day to make me go back there.

I recently purchased a used Tundra from George and Jeannine. Their level of customer service and integrity has been unmatched in my previous car buying experiences. Both are easy to talk to, and are there to meet YOUR needs whether in regard to choosing a vehicle, or financial. So far I have had 1 issue with the truck (Brakes). Jeannine swiftly placed me in a loaner vehicle to drive while she honored the warranty. Jeannine stands behind her used cars and only markets inventory she is confident in possibly offering a warranty with. I am glad I stopped by to meet George and Jeannine and look forward to giving them business in the future when I trade in the older 4Runner.

I applied for a lease through Toyota Financial on January 14th 2016 and selected Haley Toyota as the local dealer. I was contacted by Frazier Linsday, an internet sales rep, via Email a few minutes later requesting some further information such as how much money we would put down. After replying immediately, I was told that another rep, Amanda Jackson, would be assisting me since he was not going to be in for the weekend. This is where I believe the issue occurred... I was then asked to send all sorts of information, such as pay stubs, income statements and more personal information that was already included in the initial credit Application online. Before providing this information, we decided to go with a different Vehicle than we initially selected online through the application because of a price difference. Although I understand that in certain circumstances, more info such as pay stubs etc. would be needed, I could not understand why I was being asked for information that was already provided to Toyota on their website for financing. When I inquired about the unusual requests for redundant information I was told that when the dealer receives the application from Toyota, they are only provided with SS#, Name and Contact Info and that the rest needs to be filled in by the dealer. It seemed strange but we sent everything that was requested within a few hours. It took several days, countless emails and many phone calls (7 Days), to finally get a response on our inquiry and when it came back it came back as their lowest tier possible and thus too high of a monthly payment for most. We received 2 letters from Toyota informing us that they would not be able to grant credit based on the information provided, so I decided to check our credit reports to compare the numbers they used vs ours. Our Credit Reports showed 3 "hard inquiries" made by Toyota and Haley on each Experian and Equifax and 2 "hard Inquires" on Transunion. Two of these are shown on 1/14 and then another on 1/18. I immediately called and emailed requesting an explanation of the results and was contacted by Jose Gonzalez, Internet Sales Manager. He gave me a verbal runaround (the reason why I try and do all inquires via email) as sales people do and convinced me that every time someone goes through Toyota, you get 2 "hard inquiries" on your credit. I got off the phone and researched some more, emailed Jose again and demanded for them to remove the numerous inquiries because as a result of those numerous inquires, my Equifax Score dropped over 50 Points. Literally nothing else has changed on my reports and the only variable was these multiple inquiries. The response I then got was that "you changed vehicles" so every time you change vehicles we hit your credit again and that because we asked them to change the vehicle to another model, we authorized them to run credit again. In addition to that, I was given a runaround explanation of how credit works, which was almost entirely composed of quotes from blog opinion sites and mostly false information and points that had literally nothing to do with our specific scenario. It was obvious that when they switched from one sales rep to another, things got lost and information was not supplied correctly from one to another. When questioned about it, they covered their tracks with double talk and lies. I have filed requests to have the numerous "hard inquires" removed now have to dispute with the individual credit reporting agencies. I would highly suggest finding out specifically how many times your credit is going to be run when you talk to this dealer.

Went to Haley Toyota for routine service today - a state inspection and a refresh/reseal of the paint protection. The Paint Protection Program is a 5-year program and cost $500 when I bought the car new from Haley exactly 3 years ago. Part of the conditions of the program is to have the paint protection periodically "refreshed". When I had the car inspected last year, I asked the service tech how often the refresh should be done, and he said, "about once a year". When I took the car in today, the service tech (a different one) told me the free refresh was a one-time event and I would need to pay around $150 to have it done again. I told the tech what the other tech had told me and he said, "the other tech must have been confused". I also told him I had paid $500 and it was for a 5-year program. He said he realized that, but the "administrator" said I would have to pay.The point is, DO NOT BE SUCKED IN TO BUYING THE PAINT PROTECTION PROGRAM!! It is a major rip-off. You can get a similar program for half the cost at an independent shop.

We visited here on a last minute decision of just being tired of my small car. While test driving a particular vehicle, the salesperson told me they offered 0%. My husband and I made it clear that's what we were looking for and didn't want to go any further with the sale if that was not an option. He would never give us a clear answer and neither would the financial office. (Should've left really.) But I had always had good experiences with them finding exactly what I wanted when other dealerships wouldn't. Salesperson said there were only 2 in the region (we had checked inventory online and knew no one in the area had one so we had to trust he was right). Salesperson said they could have it shipped here in a week (took almost a month) so we could test drive it and look at it. We continually asked about financing and he brought a piece of paper with handwritten 60 or 72 month option on it with different price ranges of the payments (NEVER the interest rate) and told us to initial by which one we wanted (either 60 or 72). Once again we made it clear we only wanted to do this if we could get the 0% and not to bother to even have it shipped here. We were never given a direct answer as to what rate the price ranges included. During the 3-4 weeks we waited we had several phone calls from the salesman and financial people where we once again emphasized with everyone the 0% and were never given a straight answer. When the car comes in (and we loved it) a financial guy comes over and tells us that "we've never offered 0% on your vehicle or any of the bigger vehicles." Then they pull out the paper where we initialed which length in terms we wanted and used it against us. We were pissed because at no point were we told we initialed any agreement on a rate. Now we were screwed. We knew we couldn't go anywhere else to get the exact vehicle we wanted but in no way we were okay with the way they played us. They sent a survey through the mail and I completed in online. Several hours later I receive a phone call from the store manager (George?) wanting to discuss it. He told me that they were not being dishonest and that we had signed that we wanted the 4.99 rate. I had to defend us again and say "no your salesperson told us to Initial whether we wanted 60 or 72 months NEVER a 4.99%." He showed no remorse or sympathy so now I will never even return to service my vehicle. It has nothing to do with money. In fact if they had just been upfront with the rates we wouldn't have had a problem (we have the ability it to pay the loan in full at any point so in the end it didn't really matter to us). It has everything to do with the underhanded acts, dishonesty, and manipulation. Thought dealerships had learned by now that the old school used car salesmen bullying techniques were unacceptable now-a-days. Then to call to convince me that they didn't pull one over us was the kicker. (Not to mention I was so upset when writing the review I mixed up a few details on the review and also noted that I would return for service. Wish I had thought more clearly on that.) My hope is that no one else will be played this way. We need to replace our other car in the next couple years and will not be returning to them. Should've listened to the inlaws when they both said they'd never do business with Haley.

I bought a pre-owned vehicle from Haley Toyota in Midlothian, VA & it was a bit scary to purchase something used, let alone something that was 6 years old! It didn't look old, but it needed some minor touch-ups that George & Jeannine promised they could do and gave me something called a "WE OWE YOU". I could come in at my convenience, turn in my copy of the "WE OWE YOU" and get the work done. Not only did they honor their promise, but the quality of work that was done to my car is OUTSTANDING! Tom is a great salesman a nice guy and easy to work with. I just purchased my second Tundra from him a few days ago. The decision to buy the vehicle was sort of last minute, and Tom was patient with me and respectful of my time. 75% of the deal was made over the phone and my total time at the dealership to make the deal was under an hour. A second visit to sign the papers and take possession was just a couple of hours. I have used Haley for service on my last Tundra for almost 4 years and they have been great. They never once asked me to get work done on the vehicle that didn't need to be done. When you get service done at mileage intervals that require more than an oil change, they clearly state what the factory recommends and what they recommend. I always go with only the factory recommendations and they do not protest. Some dealers are not honest about this and Haley is. On the other hand the service department has brought items to my attention that needed attention. I hope to do more business with Haley and Tom in the future.

Rob Prince gave me outstanding customer service, handling my additional problems, keeping me updated on the progress of the service throughout the day, getting me transportation to and from home while the car was being worked on, and insuring completion of the service in the time frame I needed. We bought a Toyota Camry on 4/28 , Went home to find out that the price on papers was different than what we talked about. We left a message for someone to call us, sent a fax , sent an email , no answer. Went back on the 4/30 asked to meet a manager. We got MR. GEORGE MASTERMAKER. He said you signed it. We said does it mean that if we wanted to pay for the can in cash right we would pay 28 thousand and not the 23 thousand we talked about. He said yah,, you signed it. When my husband got angry and said( this is a rip off , I will sue you). Mr MASTERMAKERsaid you said you will sue us, I will call the police on you , I will ruin your credit and tow the car under your cost. We told him we done nothing wrong go ahead call the police. Then he did pick up the phone and called the police right in front of us saying that we are making problems in the show room. When two police men came and saw us inside the office where he left us. Mr Mastermaker disappeared . the two police men tried to help us to figure out what the contract said and advised us to take the mater with the BBB and the head office for Toyota. We are taking their advise. Hail be to the police officer.

I went to Haley's interested in one specific pre-owned Highlander that I had researched extensively online. I also went knowing how much I was willing to pay and willingness to walk away without looking back. I was honest upfront with my sales associate, Kimberly HeerBrandt so as not to waste our time if they could not/would not work with me. She was excellent to work with, without a whiff of overt or subtle pressure I have previously experienced with other large dealerships. I feel I got a fair price for my vehicle. I admit to real dread when Kimberly passed me off to my business manager secondary to some bad experiences in the past at this point in the process. However, BJ Brooks was excellent and provided excellent and valuable information that allowed me to make good decisions.The only negatives involved what did not come with the car. In the online ad, floor mats were listed in the options section along with a number of items that clearly were included with the purchase. It was only after the sale was finalized that I found they were not included. There was also only key. I have never purchased a vehicle that had only one key so it never occurred to me to even ask. Again I did not realize it until after the sale was finalized. Had I realized in time, I would have made it part of the deal. I was offered a 10% discount if I want to purchase them in the next 30 days. I guess I will put that down to lesson learned, but it really took some of the shine off what was otherwise a terrific experience.Just an observation--in my opinion the Haley Toyota website is less user friendly than some of their competitors and at least one other Haley dealership (Volvo of Midlothian).

My husband and I were really not looking to buy a new car, but we had to. After contacting other dealerships, I asked a question about a car and Zach helped me. I told him that we would be buying the car outright, and said how much my budget was. I was looking for something with more warranty than just the Toyota care. After going back and forth on what we wanted, I went and met with him and he showed me a RAV4. The one that he was going to show me ended up being sold that night. But, he asked me what color, told him gray and he came thru within a couple days. We signed the papers and came under budget!!!! Haley will go above and beyond to help their customers.

I bought my car from Haley yesterday and I have to say that Zach and Stuart made the process painless. As I have never purchased a vehicle before, I was skeptical because of all the horror stories I hear about dealers. I began my process online and within 5 minutes of my online inquiry I was contacted by Chris Conroy explaining that my information had been received and to just hold tight and someone would be contacting me with more information. Shortly thereafter, my sales rep emailed me and he just really kept me in the loop about what was going on with my financing information and how the process was moving along. I also received a call from Stuart, the Business Manager, the moment they were able to get something done for me. When I walked into the dealership to begin the rest of the process, Zach was there waiting with a smile which really relaxed me. He was very friendly and really kept the edge off. Zach sat me down and went over all the papers that needed signing and so forth and got my car ready for me while I was in finance with Stuart. Stuart was very efficient and went over everything in a manner that I would understand and I really liked the way he conducted himself. Not once did I feel pressured into having to buy my vehicle. They made you feel welcome and comfortable in dealing & talking with them.We felt that they gave us a fair price on our trade in car.They did not have the car that we were looking for but they called other Toyota dealers and found it and it was on the lot and ready for us to pick up the next day.If in the future, we are looking for a vehicle, we will definitely look at this dealership first.

Sorry i should have remembered the experience we had with this dealer when we were shopping for a used Tacoma, they had a vehicle that fit our needs but their offer on trade in on my son's pickup insulted us, we left. we did find a comparable vehicle at another dealership and successfully traded my son's truck and bought their Tacoma, for some reason they only had one set of keys. After a year and a half we decided we should get a second set of keys made. My 19 year old son didnt know any better and at my wife's direction bought a second set of keys and remote and the bill totalled, $432.00 for a set of keys. The labor for programming was $165, so i am assuming the balance ($267.00) was for two sets of keys and a remote. I drive a BMW, i know what expensive parts are and a set of keys is not on the list. In addition to that, the service rep proceeded to inspect the vehicle, now i am sure the dealer will say we were looking out for the safety of the customer when in fact it was a search for additional service money to be made by the dealer. When advised that a number of service items needed to be performed, air filter, engine filter (what ever that means) needed to be replaced, at least my 19 year old had the common sense to say no thanks, will have it taken care of elsewhere. This is not how you build repeat business, by the way the spare keys and remote were available on the internet for a total of $75.00 but Haley Toyota said they would not perform the programming and that we must buy the keys from them. I intend to share this story with all my friends and Haley has gotten their last dollar from me. Robb Gwaltney, Powhatan, Va.

Coming from Charlottesville, VA this was a little trek to get to but well worth the drive. I went in specifically for a 2013 Scion tC and Brendan and Stuart helped me get the car I wanted. Mr. sales champion of the month couldn't even tell me where the vehicle was. whether sold, at another lot, who had it........ when it came to test drive, the vehicle brought out was 4 years newer had a different engine, gave us a completely different feeling than having the vehicle we were interested in. We live 120 miles away from the dealership, and were making arrangements with the "sales champion" the entire week prior to the visit. He could not even let us know about the vehicle when we got there. He could have at least told me that he sold it, gave it away, crushed it, SOMETHING, prior to me wasting my time coming all that way to be faced with a salesman who was unprepared for our visit. Mr. sales champion of the month even knew the hour of our arrival, as I kept him aware of our departure time from home and anticipated arrival time at the dealership. When we arrived, thats when all the confusion started. First, his manager had the truck, then, his other manager had the truck, finally, it was figured that, the truck must have been sold. Or was it? He couldn't even tell me the difference between the two different engine options on the vehicle. He did a poor job on his homework, I am amazed that this guy is selling cars for a dealership. He should be selling something else, somewhere else. He had a stain on his jacket, really bad cigarette breath and the charisma of a three toed sloth. The absolute worst experience in 25 years of buying vehicles, ever. If I were looking for a vehicle, I would choose another salesperson. The dealership seemed ok, but Eric was dishonest and deceitful.........NOT COOL.

Due to arthritis in my knee, it had become painful for me to work the clutch in my car and pickup truck. After I test drove the truck that I had seen advertised on the internet, Anthony recommended a nearly new (about 7500 miles) pickup truck. I test drove the truck and liked it, and we were able to make a deal.The rest of the team at Haley helped to expedite the whole sales process and we were soon on our way home in our new truck. We were able to complete the transaction in less than 24 hours from when we first set foot in the dealership. I have bought and sold quite a few vehicles in my lifetime, but this was the best experience I've ever had.Having owned and driven the new truck for a few days now, it's apparent that Anthony understood my needs better than I did - this truck is perfect for me!

Tom and the management group at Haley worked with me over a period of almost two months before we finalized the deal on a 2013 4Runner. I shopped the price and called several dealerships in the Mid Atlantic and could not find a dealer that was as competitive and customer friendly as the Haley Toyota people. I purchased the car from Tom Scott and the morning I called him he took the car to get it filled with gas, had it washed and detailed etc. and made sure that when I came in the deal was as seamless as possible, all of this on his day off! I was amazed that he would take the time from his family to make sure I was satisfied and that there were no last minute hiccups. I drove over 90 miles, one way, to make this deal, it was well worth my time!

I was looking for a used truck for commuting purposes and to downsize from a large work truck. A good used Tacoma was my priority. I found one thanks to Adam Blake and Stuart Smith. Adam took the time with a hard disciminating customer like myself . I had a budget and knew what I wanted. Problem with me was my credit . I had filed bankruptcy 2 years ago due to owning a construction company in a bad economy and no one would give me the time of day to help re-establish credit. Adam worked with me in my budget areas and Stuart made the financing happen so I was happy. I never expected a rate as low or payments in my guideline. I thought it was impossible for me to be happy and not have to jump thrugh hoops buying a vehicle. Adam and Stuart care. Yes they want to sell cars but they care. Overall my experience was great. They have a customer for life. My father-in-law was with me through the process and has a Toyota. Haley Toyota is where he will do business now for maintenance and all his Toyota needs. I was a Dodge man but Haley Toyota has changed that due to my great experience and their great employees.

The gentleman asked me if I needed help and I told him I was looking for Justin and then he paged Justin. When Justin came to his desk he was very nice and appropriate. My family was shopping around at several dealerships and we had the worst experience at Haley compared to the others. Instead of friendliness, I felt like the claws were coming out at me. I do not feel that they were working for us at all. When you are flat out told 'I don't need to make a sale to you because we are the most popular Toyota dealer in Virginia.' you tend to get a little discouraged. Also, we had done our research, very thoroughly mind you. And we knew that the majority of the things being said about Toyota and the other makes, were straight lies. Needless to say, we left and went to another dealer and were killed with kindness. And they also got a sale out of us.

We found a used Highlander Haley advertised on the internet. We made an inquiry on the vehicle through the internet late Sunday evening and received a call from Anthony Gray early Monday morning. Through the whole buying experience, Anthony was knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel very comfortable as we worked through a rather unique situation (one of our own making, not Haley's) which added a time constraint to the deal. While we had already secured financing from our bank, we still had to do the paperwork to finalize the purchase, and Nabeel helped us do that. He was also friendly and very personable. I actually went to this dealer because all the great sales feedback, but I felt like Robert was not listening and he did not know the cars as well as I did. I had to leave to go to an appointment, but the next morning he called and said he had a message to call me about a Sienna. I was not looking as the Sienna at all-american but at the Prius c. I reminded him and then he asked when.I could come in for a test drive. I said Im not sure but I would when I got a chance again. I reminded him that I was in the beginning stage of looking for a car and was not ready to purchase yet. He said that the Prius c would not last long, which I dont care because Im sure they will make more. Then he proceeded to tell me that I must not be interested because gas prices are down, and that he would hear back from me when they go back up. I informed him that he would not be hearing from me and reminded him again that I was not in desperate need for a new car and that even though it gets better gas milage I would have a car payment again that would actually be more than the amount I spend on gas in a month. I can not stand this type of sales tactic and I will not stand for it. They have just lost my buying business. I will do what I did last time and drive a hundred miles to a toyota dealer that does not treat me that way and wants my business.

She was very professional and straight forward with me, unlike other sales people I had come across in previous weeks. She was not pushy or rude, and again, was very pleasant to work with. Our experience with Haley Toyota was fantastic!! It really couldn't have been better! Justin Sechrest answered an inquiry I put in on the website the very same day. He then followed up with a phone call. He did a little research to make sure he had the vehicle we were looking for on the lot and then invited us into the dealership. When we arrived, he had the Rav4 waiting for us for a test drive. As we drove he told us all about the vehicle. When we got back, he went over the price and when we were both happy, the papers were signed! He had the vehicle cleaned up and filled the gas tank while we did our financing. Before we left, Justin went over the vehicle again. He made sure we knew how to work everything and then he programmed our phones with the Bluetooth. After that we were very happy to be driving home in the Red Rav 4 we had hoped to find! Justin was great!!! So glad we went to Haley Toyota!

My wife and I were considering to buy a Chevrolet Equinox and decided to look at the Toyota RAV4 because we had a 1994 4 Runner that gave us years of service and compiled 257,000 miles before we finally decided to sell it. My wife and I moved up to Virginia in February from Miami. We had such a terrible experience in Miami that we were very pleasantly surprised to work with Tom to lease our two new Prius cars. We live over an hour away, so we were able to work with Tom via email to have him find the cars we wanted (with a deposit of course). Even though we had emailed several Toyota dealers, Tom was the only one that got back to us and was willing to help us avoid the hassle. We literally just drove in, sat down, signed all the paperwork and were out of there in about 90 minutes. We have a 1 year old daughter so it was great that everything was so quick and easy. Tom, as well as the rest of the team, were extremely friendly and welcoming. We will certainly do business at Haley again when our lease is up.

Dealer acted in a manipulative and deceitful manner to engage customers in trading in cars less than two years old, resulting in loss of equity in the previous vehicle, rushing through paperwork process so quickly that errors were made in paying off previous loan. Our 1st (May 2011) experience about a year ago with Haley (Justin) left me raving about Haley's customer services. The 2nd time in April 2012, we bought another vehicle from then that left me running the other direction. I will NOT even consider Haley for my next purchase.Within 2 weeks of the latest purchase, we inquired about trading in for a bigger vehicle ...Salesperson was unresponsive and when responded was vague and did not answer our inquiries. Repeated ignored our direct requests to contact me with information instead of my husband.Sale manager gave false information. "It's the end of the month so we have the biggest deal. If you come in today, I promised you your vehicle won't lose much. Etc.) Finds out "your vehicle won't lose much value" that equaled to about %4,500 loss and the "best-end-of-the-month-deal" is less than 4% of MSRP.While another dealer offered us 1000 more and 9% off!!! .. what a different! This was the second time I have visted this dealership to purchase a vehicle. My first experience was absolutely horrible but I decided to give it another shot. I came into the dealership with secured financing. The salesman I worked with was friendly at first, however he wasn't working with me as far as the price and I also wanted to trade my car in as well. Initially he told me I was upside down on my current vehicle and they wouldn't be able to pay it off, therefore I would have to roll the negative equity into my new purchase (about 2k), which was not feasible for me. I threatened to walk away several times, because he was not willing to reduce the price of the vehicle, he called a sales manager over several times, who also wasn't very helpful as far as the price. When I said I would think it over and come back, they insisted I take the vehicle home and then make a decision, I did. I came back with my boyfriend, and he also reiterated that the price was not low enough for us to purchase, Donnell then came back and stated he would now pay my current loan off minus $20. I guess I wasn't as upside down afterall. It's amazing that when I brought a man to the showroom he came up with a better offer. The sales manager then came to the desk with 'comparables' from other dealerships, however they were all more than 150mi away. His point was that I wouldn't be able to find the car I wanted for the price I wanted. Donnell then said 'You are looking at the wrong car for the price that you want', I found that highly offensive. They then tried to get me to settle for a Camry with ZERO options, I wanted a Honda, fully loaded. Needless to say I left the dealership empty handed. The very next day Donnell called and I told him that I had found a Honda about 30min away (not 2hrs away funny how I didn't see that comparable) at the price I wanted and with all the options I wanted, he said okay and then slammed the phone down. I ended up purchasing the car from another dealership, and they paid off my current loan with ABSOLUTELY NO qualms about it. Consequently, I will write an excellent review for that dealership. I will never step foot inside a Haley dealership again. Worst experiences ever. Shop here if you desire high pressure, misleading sales tactics.

Where do I start? I HATE car shopping. We hold onto our cars as long as possible because I HATE car shopping. Well, not now! Haley Toyota of Richmond is a class act. Working with Guy Engel was a dream. He is honest, doesn't push you, gives you all the possibilities he can, REALLY knows his minivans (I think he is rather proud of the Toyota Sienna, and rightfully so), was patient every time I asked the same question over and over, worked out a great price for us, appears to love his job and working with people. Mike was AWESOME to work with. He was patient, fair, honest and informative. I first came in looking at the new Prius V Crossover and after a week I changed my mind and went to a Venza. He provided answers to my questions as well as solid opinions and recommendations. Most importantly, he was not pushy and was not "salesy." On the 2nd visit I had my 8 year old child with me and he was nice to him and was mindful of the time we were taking up and how well behaved he was. Mike was also again, very patient as I was starting to negotiate as I was texting my husband - he was hunting. After I purchased the car (last night), Mike stayed late (his wife was waiting for him in the parking lot) to go over all of the features of the car and even helped me set up the blue tooth phone system. I had my 2007 Camry serviced on Saturday. I bought it in Virginia Beach and have had it serviced here since I moved to Chesterfield 3 years ago. While waiting, I walked the lot looking at the new Camrys. I went inside and was greeted by Justin. We chatted more than making a sales pitch. I did sit in a 2012 on the showroom floor and noted the upgrades from the 2007. When my car was done being serviced I went to the Lexus dealer and looked at some of their new and used cars. I came back to Haley and Justin after about 2 hours and we talked about trying to get a similiarly configured car in a color other than white. I think they tried and I could have gotten one if I wanted to wait a few more days. I bought the white one and am very pleased. The interior is beautiful. I love the heated leather seats and the back up mirror. This is my fifth Camry and I did own a Tacoma for a few years. Haley has been the best dealer to date. I hope the positive relationship remains. If I had not bought the car, I had a great day chatting with a very nice young man.While I was there for a long time, I had no problem with it as I think they were trying to meet my wishes and I was not impatient.

First things first. Guy Engle, our sales consultant, did exactly what he said he would do, when he said he would do it, and for the price he said he would do it for. Such integrity is becoming rare in this day and age.When Finance Manager Patrick Way presented the various financing, warranty and service options there was no pressure applied whatsoever. This made us inclined to seriously consider the various options presented to us.Genuine friendliness and hospitality was shown to us by Guy, Patrick and everyone else we encountered. We felt welcome and not like prey on the plains of Africa, as is often the case when one transacts with an auto dealership.The car was delivered meticulously clean in a well-lit area for inspection, and Guy took time to demonstrate the various features and answer all of our questions so we would not have to fumble around locating controls and what-not on our way home.Guy and Patrick are a credit to this business, and I confidently recommend them without reservation - even if working with them requires a trip. We drove over 100 miles and every mile and minute was worth the investment. Just came home from buying a 2012 Toyota Camry from Haley Toyota. This was the first time I have ever purchased a car and did not feel as though I was being taken advantaged of. I was immediately greeted by Justin Sechrest with a smile and a hand shake before my husband which was a first ever. Usually when a woman enters a dealership with her husband the sales staff ignore her (me) but not Justin he made it a point to address me first and that was quite nice since I was the one getting a new car. He asked what we were looking for and I was not sure. So he took the time to ask me what was important to me as far as features and then he guided me to an olive green camry which was nice and then he walked me through the additional features which I have to say for a base model was quite impressive - hands free blue tooth on every model camry - love it. Of course I was not sure if that is what I really wanted so he said go ahead and go check out some other vehicles and I will see you in a couple of days - gave me his card and I said ok. So we went to Priority Toyota, Colonial Honda and Whitten Brothers all of which I was not impressed with the cars nor the salesmen - I was ignored by them and they addressed my husband as though I did not exist even though my husband told them I was the buyer not him - there lose and so I went back to Justin who took care of me. The finance experience was even better Stuart Smith had a bit of a challenge since my credit was not the best but he got me done with the payment I wanted and credit interest rate. On top of that I was impressed with his professionalism in getting me done quickly and hassle free see, I had equity in my trade and he did everything possible to get me done so I did not have a ridiculous monthly payment . The haley team was professional and I will be buying again from them. Thanks for getting me into my 2012 Camry!! Treated like royalty until you sign the dotted line, make sure you inpsect the car from top to bottom, if you find any issues after you drive off the lot then your on your own, they will avoid your call backs. Told that I would get a great detailed clean car, not true, car not vacuumed properly, windows dirty, etc.. I will not buy another car at this dealership again. I should have expected this from car salemen, they are just out to get your money, no matter how they lie to you. BEWARE! Justin is a lier.

I'm happy to see others have liked their experience at Haley. I have been taking my Avalon there for service for five years and trusted them completely. However, when it came time for buying ... I wish I would've walked away. I went in with firm financial criteria, and told Jose up-front what I would accept. When the vehicles I looked at did not fit into the parameters I had laid out, I left to see if I could change them. The only thing that changed was my trade-in/down payment. Subsequently, I visited a Hyundai dealer and within two hours was quoted a price for a 2012 vehicle, well below my criteria. I thought (erroneously) I owed Haley the opportunity to match that deal since my trade-in/down payment had changed. The preliminary paperwork had been completed on my first visit. Still, it took them two hours to "see what they could do to find financing," and then they only miracously came up with it when I asked for the keys to my trade-in so I could move on with my search. Oh how I wish I had said "no thank you" and walked away. They know I am very unhappy with what I consider an unneccessary long wait, yet no one has contacted me since I've made it known that I thought I was mistreated. In fact, the promises to return my calls have been ignored.The good news is that I like the Avalon I purchased. Unfortunately, I am not enjoying it because every time I get in the car I am reminded of the long - and did I mention unneccessary - wait.

I used the USAA Auto Buying Service on 9/10 to look for a new Toyota Corolla. Haley Toyota was one of 2 dealers that it referred me to. In short time I was contacted by Chris Conroy, Sales manager.On Sunday 9/11, I went to Haley Toyota and met with Chris and my salesman, Sean Beaudoin. I selected and test drove the Corolla of my choice. Pricing was exactly as described by USAA. I found everyone to be most courteous and efficient. Within a couple hours I had my new car. Sean really had to hussle to get the paper work completed and the car preped. I had a most excellent buying experience.

Sean was very knowledgeable and friendly. He had a very nice, pleasent way about him that made me trust him right away. I loved that he made me list the things I wanted that would cause me to drive away in that new vehicle and make a commitment. He was perfect for me. Needless to say the other four were starting out as "old school haggling" over a sales price. We weren't planning on buying a car. Having just finished lunch we decided to drop by Haley and sit in a Sequoia. They didn't have any on the lot so I tired a 4Runner and then a Tacoma. Nice, but not quite right. Cedric, our Sales Consultant, greeted us promptly, and in the heat of the day ran all over the place helping us. Cedric even offered to transport a Sequoia from another Haley location that was in our budget. As we were about to go home we decided to look at the Sienna.We drove over to the Siennas in our old van and called Cedric. He came right over, opened a couple models for us and sent us out for a test drive. We were in love. The build quality, the luxury, the technology and feel of the vehicle were spot on. So now for the worse part of the car buying experience.The paperwork.Sitting down with Cedric he simply asked us what we wanted to pay for the Sienna. Now we did go back and forth a little bit but this was a car sale after all. Bonnie Curtis, the Delivery Coordinator, visited with us for a few minutes to review details for various protectants and warranty programs. We decided to take advantage of a couple options at a later date and she even through in a remote starter. We'll be back in a couple weeks to have all of this work completed.Nabeel Rahman, Business Manager, was quite personable and helpful. He closed out the evening with the nitty gritty of financing and transfer of title. My wife went toe-to-toe with him over a few details but in the end all was well.All-in-all the experience was positive. The process did take WAY TOO LONG and I hope the staff addresses this. My Mother-in-Law bought from Haley, now me and when my wife's car dies she'll go to Cedric and the team at Haley Toyota!

When we walked into Haley Toyota we were greeted by Anthony Gray. I knew exactly which vehicle I wanted to purchase and how much I was going to pay. Anthony brought a 4Runner and a Highlander to the front for us to check out. He put the 3 of us (my parents ages 77 and 81 were with me) in both vehicles taking the time to explain the differences between the two. We went for test drives, roamed around the lot looking at the different colors and I told him I needed to test drive a Honda. After three days I finally made a decision to purchase the Highlander from Haley and Anthony. I went to two other dealerships and no one made me feel as welcome as Anthony. Anthony made me feel like he had my best interests at heart and went to bat for me a couple of times. When we finally had a deal I went to talk to Nabeel Rahman in finance. Nabeel made the financing end of the deal painless and even worked out a couple of "deals" for me. I will recommend Anthony and Nabeel to everyone looking to buy a vehicle!

Marji was very responsive to all our questions and wanted to be sure we were getting all we wanted in our vehicle. I would like to take this time to appreciate one of your salesman, Cedric Edmundson. If there is a recognition program he needs to be recognized. On Monday, May 31st about 8pm at night my husband and I were searching the internet for a new vehicle. I seen a Toyota Camry that I really liked. I texted the the number to get more information regarding this vehicle. It was less than 10 minutes later Cedric called me. From that point on I knew that he was working for me. I explained to him that I had to work the following day, so I would try to stop by after work. He told me that he would call me the next morning. Sure enough, he did. Not only did he call me but he also brought the car to my job to let me drive it back to the dealership. I was truly amazed. Now thats customer service. I purchased the car that night. I requested a few options to be installed (tinted windows and remote start). I had to bring the car back the next day. When I spoke with a rep, she explained that it would take several hours before the car would be completed. She explained that there was a shuttle bus that could take us where we needed to go. However, when we arrived Cedric had arranged for us to have a car. I could not believe it! I work for the largest retailer in the world and understand the importance of customer care. I want to appreciate all that Cedric has done for my family. He is a great asset to your team and you should be proud of him because I am! Thanks, Cedric!!!

During my most recent purchase, both Mr. John Higgs and Mr. Stuart Smith were exceptionaly personable and pleasant to work with. They both went out of their way to find me the best deal. I even recieved a call after I made my purchae from Mr. Smith telling me that he was able to lower my interest rate even furthr, saving me money on monthly payments. This will add up to extraordinary savings over the life of the loan. This was not something that Mr. Smith had to do, but I feel as though he did it as an extra measure to ensure that I recievd the best possible deal. Our purchase was quick, efficient & hassle-free. We obtained a price via the Consumer Reports Zagat program. We were contacted by Marji Duncan who described the vehicles which were in stock at Haley. They had what we were looking for so we traveled the 2 hour trip that evening. We arrived at 7PM. We were met by Marji shown the vehicle and took a test drive. We returned to the dealership & completed the necessary paperwork. Marji had done much of the paperwork ahead of time which helped streamline the process when we arrived. We obtain financing Toyota Financial by working with the head of the finance department Stuart Smith. He was very quick, knowledgeable and honest. We were out of there with our new vehicle by 9:45PM. Normal closing hours for Haley are 9Pm but the staff did not seem to mind working the extra time to complete our deal. It was a very pleasant & satisfying purchase.

The whole experience was just excellent! Justin was very polite, kind, any question I had, he had an answer for and I was very impressed with him. I had been to a few dealerships before this one and the sales reps in my experience have been pushy & the experience had not been good, until I came to Haley! It was actually an enjoyable experience! Bonnie was also very helpful and kind, and Nabeel actually made the long financial process seem so easy. Nabeel was a big help and explained all the options very well! I completed an application on-line for a new Toyota Corolla. I received a prompt response back from the dealership. Service was excellent and I was in and out of there with my new car in NO time. Sad part is, I totaled my new car even before I made my first car payment. I'm a little embarassed to say that being that I've never been in a car accident in my 35 years of driving. Anyway, I went back to the Toyota dealership and Stuart the finance manager and Mike Davis, salesman worked hard to get me re-financed with the same company to get another new car even while I had an opened ended loan from my wrecked car. Somehow, they made it happen. I was very pleased. I was also pleased with how well that Toyota Corolla held up after I was T-boned right in the driver side. He spoke with Frank Barlow and set up a time after work to look at the car we had picked out.Frank greeted us with a handshake as we walked in the door... and he remained very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. I would do business with Frank again.My only wish is that the process (paperwork) was possibly more automated, therefore taking less time. We were there approximately 3 hours for this purchase. It would be much more convenient if you just entered the required information into the computer once and it then fed that info into all the needed forms - send them to the printer all at once. We could then sign everything, write a check and be done in half the time.

Marji Duncan was a joy to work with during the purchase of our new RAV4. She was very responsive to our online inquiry and actually sent us a personal email as a follow-up. Each day that we were talking to other Toyota dealers, Marji was always the one with the first response, with the most complete answers, and with the best price for "out the door". I cannot stress enough the importance of having ALL of the prices so you know what the total price will be. We drove over 100 miles to meet and work with Marji. We have two Toyota dealers within a 25 mile radius of home, but after talking to Marji and reviewing the numbers with her, we knew we needed to drive to Richmond.Marji took the time and the extra effort to get the specific details that we requested. No other dealership / salesperson did this. Other sales people just threw a price over the fence to us. Marji took the time to be very specific and very competitive on the quote. There were no surprises when we reviewed the numbers with Marji, and the price we were told was the actual one we paid!!! Marji is very personable and professional. Others can learn from her. Our conversations were comfortable and very polite. The conversation centered around getting us what we needed. We knew Marji was working in our best interest to explain and provide value for our money.

Jim Z. is a fine, energetic young salesman. We believe he should have a great future with your dealership. He was very helpful and very attentive to detail in every way. All of the people on the staff were very friendly and were not "pushy!!" However, we think it is unfortunate that you have a man as a business mgr., who works on the very important portion of the sale--the loan--who it is VERY difficult to understand and works a little too hard at selling extras such as insurance, special coatings, etc. etc. But, the main complaint is being able to understand him. For the financing portion of the sale you need someone who has complete command of the English language and can be understood.

Visited on Friday afternoon with no plan for buying - just starting my search. The gentleman I spoke with explain some of the deals on the new cars. He was long pressure and informative. After listening, I left to think about the car and price he told he about. After reviewing the car and deal, I felt it was a very good offer. I returned on Saturday and made the purchase. This has been the most pleasant car buying experience we have had. Paul Berry made the process as painless as possible. He stayed late, making sure our deal was finalized to our satisfaction. The guys who prepared the car for delivery, Mr. Davis and Mr. Cox, were very knowledgeable and efficient. We have taken our Highlander back 3 times - once for a low tire pressure light, once to have a remote stater installed, and once to have XM radio installed. Each time we have been impressed with the friendly staff, clean service areas, and well thought out customer lounge. Tonight (1/13/11) we attended the new owner workshop, which we loved. We were prepared to be a bit bored; instead we were given great information and even some great food. We think this is what buying a new car should have always been like!

The sales experience was on several occasions was very great!! My salesman has always been right there to not only sell me my vehicles but to ensure they were clean and everything promised was performed. Fred was there to ensure that extra things like remote start or other extras were ordered and installed properly and on time. I feel that Carey Gillespie was johnny on the spot and that he gave me the best price for the cars that I wanted to buy. While I feel everything and everybody on the sales side was truly great I feel just as strongly about the lack of help, concern, or professionalism on the part of the service department. They will try and sell you things you really don't need, they do NOT listen when you bring your vehicles in for service or repair, and have no compassion when people bring their vehicles in for service. While I would recommend this dealership to purchase a vehicle I would equally recommend you find somewhere else tohave itserviced.

I can say for 100% certainty that Sean the sales person whom I dealt with mostly, made it the best experence I have ever had. I feel that he actually took the time to listen to me, my wants and needs. Jose Gonzales was most informative and a pleasure to work with and being bilingual was a bonus. The Managers didn't hide behind a big "intimidating" glass wall, and they were absolutely approachable. Which they did from the time my wife and i walked in. They were not the cheapest but you know i truely believe "you get what you pay for". So far they have proven to be worth paying a few hundred more. We didn't feel like we were cattle and trying "to get hustled"... I would never recommend Haley Toyota to anyone. First, I had a difficult time getting someone to wait on me. Then the salesperson seemed inexperienced (although very nice) and said he didn't know anything about Scions. To show me the Rav4 he unlocked the door and said I could look inside and that was the extent of telling me about the vehicle. When I went to another dealership they gave me a thorough demonstration of the entire vehicle inside and out. Working with the finance director was a nightmare. He was very pushy. He initially said he couldn't get the vehicle financed for less than 11% but later said he was able to get it down to 10%. When I went to another Toyota dealership they got financing through Toyota at 2%. Haley let me test drive a Rav4 and take it home overnight. They didn't offer me anything less than the sticker price on the vehicle so I went to another dealership that evening and purchased a Rav4 that had a sticker price of $3200 more for the same monthly payment that Haley offered me with financing for 60 months instead of the 72 months that Haley offered. That dealership said they would return the test drive vehicle to Haley so I called the Haley sales person the next day and left a message on his cell phone telling him I purchased a vehicle from another dealership and they would be returning the Rav4. I got a call back from the finance director who was irate and told me I would have to return it myself. I immediately went back to the other dealership to get the vehicle and was told they were in the process of buying the vehicle from Haley and I did not have to take it back. Haley continued calling until my daughter called them and told them to stop harassing me. Afterwards my son told me he went to Haley a couple of years ago and also had a negative experience with the same finance director. Update 4/25: Even though Haleys finance director knew the other dealership had possession of the vehicle that I was test driving and knew I attempted to get the vehicle from the other dealership to return it he called me today to tell me he was going to report the vehicle as stolen. I called the other dealership and was told Haley refused to sell them the vehicle and Haley was already in possession of the vehicle. I called the finance director and left a message on his phone to tell him if he called me again I would report him to the police for harassing me.

When I went to the Haley dealership to see if in the future they would have the car that I wanted, I was told that it would arrive the middle of July. I had been to another dealership earlier in the week and had walked out because they would not make the deal I needed to make and had told me that if I put down a deposit, it would be nonrefundable. I told the Haley salesman that I had been to the other dealer and that they would have a car in next week. Mike Davis, the salesman at Haley was very accommodating and gave me the specifications on the car that would be arriving in mid-July. Although I didn't particularly like the color, I asked him if I could put a deposit on the car. However, I distinctly asked him that if something happened would the deposit be refundable; the response was that there can not be a nonrefundable deposit but it is a good faith deposit and assumes that you will get the car. I left the dealership with 2 sheets of paper, the specs sheet and a receipt for the deposit; I signed no other paperwork. Within the next two days, the salesman from the first dealership had called me no fewer than four times to tell me that he was still trying to work something out so that I could get better rates and more for my trade-in. Two days after visiting Haley and putting down a deposit, the car with the color I liked better came in the showroom of this other dealership. I went to see it and found that I could make a better deal and the car actually had more features on it than the one coming in next month to Haley. Because the 2010 Prius with safety features is in such high demand and because the dealer had given me more for my trade-in, I signed the papers and took the car home. On the way home, I called the salesman at Haley to tell him that I had purchased a car and that I wanted the deposit refunded. He seemed a bit upset because I had not given him the chance to find a car for me. A few minutes later the salesman calls me back to tell me that his general manager/business manager is very upset and that the deposit will not be returned. I argued, and he told me I needed to call Kip, the manager. I asked if I could speak with him (Kip)and was told I'd have to call back tomorrow--that he was not there. I became suspicious and called back immediately only to speak with Kip who was extremely rude, telling me that I was a lier and that he wanted to hear nothing I had to say. In fact, he verbally stated he wanted to hear nothing I had to say, and continued to try to belittle and intimidate me. After what seemed like about 2 minutes of being yelled at by this rude individual who insisted I would not get my deposit back, I was told to stop payment on the check. I bought my first Toyota Prius from this same dealership and was treated great. However, it soon became clear just how the opposite could be true. I truly was intending to wait for the car from Haley and I did not call the first dealership back because of this (They called me.); however, I am now glad that they did because I would be leery of working with this dealer a second time. I had not waited to tell Haley what I had done, but called immediately (within 2 days of putting down the deposit) so that the car would be available for someone else. I did not wait until mid-July (four weeks later) to tell them because I would have considered that unfair. To discuss Kips rude, offensive behavior towards me, I called Gene (his boss), on five different occasions on four different days, leaving my name and number and asking that my call be returned. This never occurred.

My wife and I had a very frustrating experience dealing with Haley Toyota of Richmond. We were early on in our search and were working with a new Haley employee/ trainee. The new employee was very polite,helpful and patient in showing us the various Camry models. Our first visit to the dealership we just looked at the inventory to see if we were interested. The trainee called us several days later to tell us that one of the colors we were interested in had just come in. We returned to the dealership to again look at the cars and were interested in taking a test drive.Before we could get a chance to test drive a car, the new employee's trainer / manager approached us. The manager was extremely pushy, inpatient and rude. He said that we had been wasting the trainee's time since this was our 2nd visit and that we were not helping to get the trainee his first sale. Furthermore he belittled the new employee by stating in front of him that he could be fired if he didn't make a sale soon.Needless to say we were disgusted by the manager's unprofessional conduct and immediately walked off the lot. My wife and I's families have purchased 18 cars in the past 20 years from Haley of Richmond. While we have never before had an unfavorable experience such as this, this is strong indicator of how the customer service has gone down hill. If this is how Haley wants to train their sales people, they are gong the wrong direction. This will likely be the last time we visit this dealership

I had the best experience of buying a new car yet. I worked with Skip Davis and he not only worked to get me everything I was looking for but he was extremely patient with me while I decided what I want. I spent 1 week looking at cars and when I found something I wanted he made working the deal easy. I was in negative equity with my truck so they really had to work a great deal for me. Skip was extremely energetic and willing to help every way he could. I have bought 6 new cars in my life and this is by far the best experience I have ever had.

The salesman are high pressure, pushy and demeaning. The service department tells you need work done on your car when it is unnecessary. I asked them to look at my car for a particular reoccurring issue. The mechanic and service writer said they could not find a problem. Two days later, it broke down out of town. Had they checked underneath the hood they would have found the problem immediately. My sister brought her Toyota in and they told her she needed apprx. $1500 work to her car. She did not need this amount of work done. Do not deal with these people.
