Me and my husband went in there looking to trade in our truck for something we can take places and have fun with but also a family car. Manuel went out of his way to find us what we wanted, we went yesterday to trade in our truck for a jeep and he gave us a great price fast and friendly service was not only worried about us but our little one brought out coloring books and put a movie on for her I've never had such friendly service and I definitely plan on coming back to get myself a car from the help of Manuel!

I went in and dealt with a was super nice salesman that did everything he could to accommodate me. I did my research so I had numerous questions, he answered them all and we even spoke to a mechanic to clarify. I test drove 3 vehicles and he even let me go to Lemoore to show my son the car. I understand I did not have the same buying power as other customers, but I don't need to be made feel less than adequate. When I asked via text about the response to getting tinted windows or floor mats for free, the response was "key only" (referring to providing me an extra key) and that text message was followed with "I came in on my day off to print all the paper work for you and you want me to tint your windows hahaha sorry I cannot". I asked what company financed me and was told "I'm out of the office and will check", well I was still waiting for a response hours later. When I did not receive one, I called FRESNO LITHIA HYUNDAI and explained my situation. They dropped the price over the phone by $1300. The car has 7,000 less miles, overall 7% interest drop, saved $63 on monthly payments, got an extra key, premium package upgrades, free floor mats, plus the salesman drove it to my home in Hanford. Although I really appreciate his patience in working with me, and was honestly ready to sign the deal, all I can say is I do not appreciate being laughed at, whether or not that's how it was meant is irrelevant because I am your potential customer who did not think it was necessary.

I have always dreaded shopping for a new car. In the past I have felt undervalued, pressured, and unsatisfied in most shopping experiences. Shopping at Hanford Hyundai was the most positive experience I have ever had while purchasing a vehicle. I was greeted immidiately by team salesperson Ray Harber, who did not make me feel pressured or uncomfortable in any way. I knew exactly what I wanted and how much I intended to pay for it before I arrived at the dealership. Ray took the time to find out what I needed, seeming genuinely concerned that those needs were met and that I find the car that I wanted at the price I preferred. The color I wanted was not in stock; however, the dealership manager, Gilbert, made sure that I had the exact car- in the color I wanted- that day even though a dealership employee had to drive 45 minutes away to obtain the car for me. Melissa in financing was thorough in explaining the sales contract and there was not pressure at all for the additional options that most dealerships push customers to buy. Everyone on staff was courteous, and I did not feel pressured even once. Hanford Hyundai also has a family oriented atmosphere which makes one feel comfortable from the very beginning. It was an all-around positive experience!

We purchased a vehicle from them in 2012 and had great service; this year we traded in our Sonata and purchased as Sante Fe instead. Our previous vehicle had an extended warranty that needed to be refunded, and THAT is where the trouble began! After filing the necessary paperwork to refund the unused portion of the warranty, we were told it would take up to 90days to receive our money back...the 90days has come and gone with NO refund! NOW we are being told..."sorry, we changed ownership at the end of July and can't help you with that." We get transferred around from person to person and have left messages with someone named RANDY PATRON(?) Who never returns calls or answers the phone! Don't trust these people! NOT the same service anymore!!!! VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!!!

I have purchased a vehicle from this dealer in the past and it was a great experience. So when my dad wanted to sell his Elantra I went here to get an offer. I was first offered a price that was lower than my dad wanted so I did not accept and the manager said it would expire by the end of the month. I then called about a week after the expiration date of the offer to ask if it would still stand or what the new offer would be. The manager that had helped me originally said he would not be there and would leave it for the manager tomorrow. When I called he said there was a note left saying the original offer was less than it was, lie, and that offer expired and the new offer would be over $2000 less. I understand the price would go down but what a bunch of crap that the two managers are trying to take advantage of the fact that they think I can't sell the car and I am desperate. I was only trying to sell it there to make it easier. I never expected to be taken advantage of like that. The unfortunate part for them is I will never buy anything from them again and do my best to keep all buyers away. I spend a lot of money on cars and I do not like to be lied to or disrespected. I do not give second chances and they have lost a lifelong customer.

My husband and I had seen a vehicle online that was located at this dealership. The price seemed reasonable and the vehicle had everything we were looking for, including the great Hyundai warranty, so we went to take a look at it.We sighed getting out of the car, as my husband asked "Ok. How many second until they're on us like vultures?" How wrong we were!!!Jose Sanchez came out to greet us. We'd been on the road a while, so stepped inside to use the restroom before looking at our vehicles. Once we were ready, Jose was patiently waiting to assist us. He was very knowledgeable about the Hyundai line, from price ranges to features to fuel economy. He never "over-talked" us, which has been our experience at many, many dealerships in the past. He answered our questions but we never felt we were being "sold." During the test drive, instead of chatting too much, he allowed us to drive and really pay attention to the car's performance and handling - another good choice! We were sold on Jose before we'd even chosen a vehicle. Once we made our decision, Jose, along with Al Vasquez, helped us through the paperwork. Finalizing the sales documents with Gilbert Gomez from the finance department was a breeze. He made everything very clear and gave us thorough explanations, again without "over-talking" or "hard selling." Once we'd completed the documentation, Al helped us learn our way around the vehicle's extensive instrument panel. He demonstrated the XM system, the navigation system, the Bluetooth phone system and everything else we might need to know to make our way safely home in our new car. (A brand new 2013 Hyundai Tucson that happened to still be on the lot. Buying a slightly older NEW car was a significant savings, but we still have all the wonderful Hyundai warranty starting from our date of purchase forward.) I should also note that all of the other staff that we encountered were equally friendly, but in a very genuine way. I didn't meet one "car salesman type" while I was there. But, when you're selling a good product, why push? "If you build it, they will come."We've owned a lot of cars and been inside a lot of dealerships. I would recommend these fine folks to ANYONE. I'd go back tomorrow if I needed a second car.

Al Vasquez is the best sales associate I have ever dealt with when it came to buying a car. He is patient, calm and is not pushy. He listened to what I wanted and needed in a new car and didn't try to force me into anything that I did not want. He went above and beyond to find the right car that I was looking for. Not only was he great during the sale but he also followed up with my multiple times after my purchase to see how I liked my car and to see how I was doing. He helped me set everything up with my new vehicle and he was always friendly and professional at all times. I felt comfortable talking to him and I felt like I had known him for years. If you live in the central valley, make the trip to Hanford Hyundai and see Al Vasquez. I wouldn't want to work with anyone else and I will continue to go to Hanford Hyundai as long as I own or am purchasing a Hyundai.

My wife and I were in need of a new car for her and stopped buy the dealer just looking at first. We were greeted by Al Vasquez who introduced himself and immediately made us feel right at home with his very friendly and professional manner. He showed us the Sonatas we were interested in and explained features and differences between the models on the lot. He helped us narrow our search by being very knowledgeable and honest about the vehicles he showed us. We were so impressed with Al's no pressure approach and overall attitude that we decided to purchase a Sonata GLS that night. Even though it was late, about 7 or 8 p.m. we were never rushed and Al and Gilbert worked with us to complete a contract and get financing for my wife's new car. I will recommend this dealer to anyone I know looking for a new vehicle and suggest they see Al and Gilbert, two very professional and pleasant individuals to work with.

The salesman asked me what my intent was, why I wanted to take a car on a test drive, was I there to buy a car today or not. He didn't want to waste his time or mine on a pointless test drive. I told him I was in the market for a new car, and pre-qualified so he went to get the key. When he came back he told me someone was coming in that was " actually" going to buy a car today, and I would have to call and make an appointment to go on a test drive. That's not going to happen! So I bought Miya car from sho-guns 2013 veloster, awesome car! But I would not give these guys a penny.

Al went above and beyond his duty as a salesman. He was extremely friendly and actually called to follow up about a car I was interested in but couldn't afford. When I explained I couldn't afford it he actually helped me find a wonderful car that I could afford. He brought the car to me to test drive it because I didn't have a way to get to the dealership. Al Vasquez took the time to show us the Elantra's that were in stockon, and point out different details. I live in San Diego and recently had an accident on I-5 N when I ran over wood and damaged the mechanics of the left front of the car (tire, rim, engine wiring system, etc). Javier Martinez worked with me as well as my insurance company to get the Tucson repaired. My husband I came to Hanford Hyundai to look at used vehicles. While we were looking at one of their used cars (by the way ALL) were very clean. Al came out of the show room and like anyone else that is visiting a dealership we groaned to each other about having not pulling off looking at their cars and being desecrate about it. Once we shook Al's hand and he started to tell us about his inventory. We were pleasantly surprised. Not only was he honest but he listened to our needs and was most importantly patient. He recommended that my husband take the car he was looking at to take it for a test drive. After the test drive my husband was sold! Then came the dreadful paperwork. In my recent purchase of a Elantra, the salesman I dealt with was Al Vasques who I found to be very honest, up front, & not pushy. I'd actually gone to Hanford Hyundai, on the recommendation of my neighbor who had also bought a car from Al. I had gone there assuming I would have to buy an automatic, but Al was able to find the car I really wanted (a manual transmission). I walked away from this experience excited about my new car & not angry with the salesman or finance dept. I would recommend Al to anyone wanting to purchase a new Hyundai.

I am impressed to say the least! When I first walked in the door at Hanford Hyundai, I was greeted with warm salesmen who knowledgable about their product, not pushy, and very accomodating. There seemed to be nothing that they were not willing to do or try to help with my car buying experience. I wanted a car that they did not have in stock, and when I decided to purchase the car (saturday afternoon), they did a dealer trade from the Sacramento area, and I had the car the next day when they opened their doors. I NEVER felt pressured by anybody. I actually met the owner of the dealership, and he was inviting, and gave me his card and told me if I needed anything, I should call him. The Salesman Al Vasquez took excellent care of me, and things were explained in great detail. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.You should absolutely stop there before you buy. I think you will be impressed.

This was the second Hyundai dealership I had been to. The first was a dealership was closer to home but things didn't seem or feel comfortable working with these people. As I entered the lot in Hanford I was greeted by Al. I already knew what I was looking for, a silver/blue Sonata for my wife, and I knew they had the car. The only deciding factor was "Do I want to buy from this dealership or take my money elsewhere?"After taking a drive in the Sonata and talking with Al knew I would be driving home in a new Sonata.I fealt very welcomed and comfortable working with both Al and Gilbert. I found a car I liked but ultimately we were a few hundred dollars off from an agreement. They did not pressure us. The facility is fairly new and on the nicer side. I would consider this dealership again.

Very poor customer service. I've had my car in 5 times because the A/C stops blowing. The first two times they did nothing (said they couldn't duplicate problem). The 3rd time I took it in was after something caught on fire & smoke was coming from under the passenger side dash. Then they checked the blower motor, found it bad & replaced it. At least I was told it was replaced. It didn't take long for the same problem to reappear. Back to Hanford Hyundai service department I went. Again, they could not duplicate the problem. However, I was told I needed a new air conditioner filter because it was clogged & would impede the flow. This must be a "problem" found often. Because the last 3 times I've been there I've seen one of these filters sitting on the podium in the service area. Now I'm having the same problem again. A/C doesn't blow & have to hit the passenger side dash to get it to start. Since my standard warranty has now run out I will have to take it to Visalia & pay $50 deductible & use my extended warranty to fix a problem they failed to fix in Hanford. Even though I just had the car there for the same problem while it was under warranty. At Hanford Hyundai if they don't duplicate the problem you tell them, then the problem does not exist. I have even taken the car to them while the A/C was not blowing & had them watch while I hit the dash to make it start. I thought since the dealership was under new ownership the service would have gotten better. I was wrong. Different name, but same dishonest people in the service department. Javier knew I brought my car in multiple times for the same problem. He told me there was no problem found with the blower. When I took it back for not blowing again he told me it was a different problem than last time. (Because they couldn't duplicate it) Just because the technician was too lazy to check the blower motor, that does not mean the problem I brought it in for does not exist. Stay away from this place. Save yourself a lot of time, money and aggravation.

I went to a couple other dealers before going to the one at Hanford. I wanted the new Veloster and I understood that it was a hot commodity before I went to the first dealership which was closest to me. However, they were less than helpful in trying to get me what I wanted. When I called the Hanford dealer, they were very helpful, they even just received one less than 3 hours ago and hadn't even had a chance to start detailing it to get ready to sell it. Now comes the part where I rated them excellent. I have purchased cars before from various dealerships. It's usually an all afternoon torture session. However, I had all my questions answered, the papers signed, deposit paid and had the keys in my hot little hands in under an hour from when I said sold. Everyone was extremely helpful and courteous, but mostly it was the can do attitude that is usually missing from dealerships these days. Had the first place made any sort of effort to look around and see what they could do to get the car I wanted, I would have stayed with them instead of driving 20 miles away from home to buy the car I wanted.

Our experience with Hanford Hyundai was a very pleasant one. Al Vasquez in sales had everything ready. Our Genesis was ready and all questions were answered. Sean Wagner took lots of time to explain all the new technology. Pat Ireland was very helpful with all the "paper work" and explained each part well. Kirk Bailor was part of the greeting party and wanted to make sure we were comfortable with each part of our experience. We traveled home to Orange County and were greeted with an E-mail to make sure our drive home went well and if there were any questions concerning our Genesis, they were ready to help. I started looking for a one year old demo car online and was willing to travel to find it. I'm in the Los Angeles area and was looking as far out as Colorado. Hanford had a couple of cars that were the model I was looking for. I called and spoke with Pat Ireland and told him what I was attempting to do and he didn't hesitate before telling me the price he could do that appeared to be the same as the best prices I was finding anywhere and was willing to pick me up at the train station. I took a chance and made the commitment sight-unseen and when I arrived in Hanford my concerns were immediately put to rest as the car was immaculate and the guys at Hanford were genuine and gracious and I was in and out in a couple of hours. I hate to sound like an urban burn-out but there are times when you don't want to have to fight and just want to walk in and ask for people to do the best they can and if they can do that then you will just go with them. This was how the experience felt with Hanford. I felt like I got the best car for the best price without having to feel like I had to fight for it. It was worth it to me to get out of the city to deal with people. They treated me like someone that lived next door to them, not a guy they may never see again.This may sound like it's written by someone with an agenda but it's not. I was appprehensive about buying a new car anywhere, let alone one a couple hundred miles from LA. The stress-free experience was well worth a relaxing train ride up into central California and the drive back.

My experience at Hanford Hyundai was outstanding. I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy by Mr. Vasquez and Mr. Gomez. Each aspect of purchasing a new car, from vehicle features to the financial paperwork, was explained in detail by Mr. Vasquez and Mr. Gomez. The general manager Mr. Bailor, introduced himself to me and my children and made the overal experience of purchasing a new car, very personal and felt as if we were being welcomed to be part of a family. My past experience in purchasing a new Hyundai in 2006 at Lithia Hyundai in Fresno was not as nice and due to an oversight by my sales representative caused me to spend several hundred dollars on a new cargo door on a brand new SUV.

Highly recommended. We stopped by to see what they had on the used lot and were immediately comforted by the lack of "vulturing" I've experienced at many other dealerships. We were approached and asked what we were shopping for and pointed in the direction, but not brooded over. We never felt pressured and even after the sale, everyone was friendly when we came back in for a follow-up issue (non dealership related). I would absolutely recommend Hanford Hyundai to anyone shopping for a car.

Loved our experience!! We had no salesman stauking us around the lot. When our salesman Ray Harber did come out he was very nice and friendly! Did not pressure us at all! He asked us what WE were wanting to do. Not only did we already think we were getting a pretty fair deal since we had a bankruptcy a few years ago but they worked even harder and got us the best deal you could ever believe. No one can believe the deal we actually got. Great experience with this dealership! I would definatley recommend this dealership!!!

I Purchased a used automobile from Hanford Hyundai August 2011, my sales representative is Al Vasquez, a very friendly-local-down to earth person. Al had assisted me with the negotiation of the purchase along with the associated paper work. Gilbert Gomez on the financial side of the house explained all forms and requirements needed by law, also good with remembering past customers. I have recommended Hanford Hyundai to others looking for a good solid deal on reliable transportation. One word of caution; if the vehicle that you are looking at is advertised on their web site, with items like a "Full Size Spare Tire" Make sure that you consult the sales represented about the item in question. We had put off purchasing another car because of having to deal with 'pushy' salesmen. When Sean came out to greet us, he immediately put us at ease about checking out the vehicles on the lot, explaining to us that customer satisfaction was of primary important at this dealership. Because he was going to be out of town the next day, he introduce us to Gilbert. Wow! Team work...a new concept in buying a car. The next day when we came to make 'our deal' because Gilbert was doing double duty, he introduced us to Pat, who continued the outstanding policy of meeting the needs of the customer! All the things that we had been dreading never came to pass. What a great dealership. We will be telling everyone about how we were treated at Hanford Hyundai!

I can recommend Hanford Hyundai to friends and relatives. I found the employees helpful and considerate. The actual buying process is a little lengthy, but i have found this to be true with other dealerships as well. There was no high pressure of any kind. Overall, very satisfactory.

Went by the dealership to look at the new Veloster and was pleasantly surprised by the staffs vigor for working with me and my schedule. They showed a very professional manner but at the same time were warm and not "pushy" when discussing a purchase. They held the car for me when I called and said that I wanted it, which is more than I can say from some past experiences with other dealerships. When it came time to make the purchase, Sean went to bat for me to get the sale price between what I offered and what they wanted (sorry Sean). Gilbert was extremely polite and very competent at his job. The power point presentation he had for the "extra protections" you can buy for your car (warranty, paint & interior protection) was a VERY pleasant surprise as I have gone through the same thing with tiny print little pamphlets too many times to count. When we decided what we would purchase extra, Gilbert said ok and we proceeded. Too many times I have been badgered about buying more after stating my decision. It was so refreshing to be treated as an informed consumer and not a child. Thank you Gilbert! The turn over of the car was great and everything was explained. I will DEFINITELY be going back to Hanford Hyundai for more purchases and even servicing my Ford there.

They were very polite and not pushy. Worked with cooperatively and reasonably to come up with a deal that was satisfactory for us. Went above and beyond to set the car up in the showroom as a surprise for our 16 year old daugther with bows and balloons. The car had a small chip in the paint that was fixed perfectly - you could'nt tell. It was just a great overall experience. We couldn't be more pleased!

The folks at Hanford were very friendly, professional and willing to work with the customer's needs (myself). They didn't have the car I wanted in their inventory, but searched extensively to find exactly what I was looking for. When they did find the exact match, they were able to secure a trade that same day and still negotiate a fair price. The transaction was smooth, the atmosphere relaxed, and the staff went out of their way to ensure a quality experience. A great team!

After going without a car for two months and doing my research, I knew what I wanted. I decided on a price and asked the salesman at the closest Hyundai for the make, model and price and he said "no". So I called Hanford as talked to Al. He said "yes". So after about an hour with him and Gilbert in finance my husband let me drive home my new red Tuscan. i love this car and am so glad that I happened to call Hanford because we would have had to go to L.A. to get that deal.

Both Al and Kirk, and for that matter, the other employees, that I talked with were extremely friendly and answered my questions in a knowledgeable polite manner. Most important I never was "talked down to", was never pressured,and they were "true to their word." It was the most pleasent car buying experience I have ever had.

I walked in to purchase a new car but found out that a used car better fi my budget. The sales person Al was very helpful in making my vehicle purchase comforable. The overall enviroment was nice. They did do the normal dealership thing so but I already expected that. Their vehicle selection was good but it could be better. I'm happy with my car purchase though and I would recommend this dealership if someone was looking for a Hyundai to purchase.

As a first time car buyer I was very impressed, I had done my research on how dealerships work but all that did me no good here. I never felt pressured or rushed. All their employees were very nice and patient. The dealership itself is very clean and calm, I have been at others and this is by far the nicest most welcoming environments that I have ever been in. The process from test drive to final contract signing was painless. Mr. Al, is a welcoming individual-no rush or fuss-seemed genuine and veracious from the beginning. My experience with Hanford Hyundai was stellar and a pure delight. All of us have, at one point in time, dealt with your stereotypical used car salesman. You know what I'm talking about; the kind of salesman that the minute you step out of your car, he greets you with a, "can I help you", which is quickly followed by a, "what can I do to get you in a car today". You get the sense that you are a gazelle and you've just wandered into a pack of starving ravenous hyenas. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE PLACES! Al Vasquez was awesome! He was like the uncle I never had. I felt like he had my back. He didn't even pressure me into a Hyundai, when I was looking at the 09' Toyota Camry on his lot. I feel like I could call him for car advice, even if it didn't result in him making a sale. In summary, a dealership is defined by it's salesman. Lets face it, bad salesman, make bad dealerships, while GREAT SALESMAN, MAKE GREAT DEALERSHIPS. Al is the kind of guy I'd love to crack open a couple of cold ones, with my family and friends in the backyard. Can you say that about your car salesman.....enough said.
